hey guys Amnah here! today I'm back with another information video and today I'll
show you how to make a glow serum
now this glow serum is for people with oily and acne prone skin and there is no one
formula that fits all skin type. If you are wondering that hey! I have an oily
skin and I'm acne prone, why would I need oils on my face? or why would I need to
moisturize it? So the problem begins here! Now, a lot of people with oily skin and
acne prone skin do not moisturize their skin enough with moisturizers and serums
and the oil glands on your skin tend to produce more oil to balance the surface
oil, and hence your skin becomes more oily. This means you need moisturizers
serums and oil even if you are oily acne prone or have any skin type. I swear by
this Glow Serum, and I've been using it for years now and honestly it has helped my
skin a lot. And I promise you guys if you have oily or acne-prone skin, please try
this serum and incorporate that in your daily regimen and you'll see amazing results.
if you want to know how I prepare my glow serum, which works wonders for
acne prone and oily skin, please stay tuned! The first thing you need is this
rosehip seed oil. I've taken one from 'The Ordinary', but as
I mentioned earlier you can find it easily in any drugstore or health store. Now
this is an excellent product for oily and acne prone skin. It has brightening
effect on the skin and evens out skin tone and even fades acne marks
you need 2 teaspoons of Rosehip Seed Oil.
Now the second thing you need is 'Evening Primrose Oil'. I found them in the soft
gel capsule form and it can be easily found in any drugstore. You need two to
three capsules for this glow serum. It is very rich in antioxidants and soothes
the inflamed skin. Next you need 2 teaspoons of Grapeseed Oil. It is
wonderful for acne spot treatment. It balances skin moisture and it's best for
oily skin types. Next you need 2 teaspoons of Apricot Seed Oil. Apricot Seed Oil is
best for oily skin. It soothes the skin, makes it more firm, and does not leave
oily residue on the skin. Now if you cannot find both the oils you can pick either
of the two I like to use both, because each of them has different properties
and benefits. Next you need 4 to 5 drops of tea tree oil. It has disinfecting
properties, which kills the bacteria in pores. After that, you need 1/2 teaspoon
of glycerin and 1/2 teaspoon of rose water. Now the product that I have has
both glycerin and rose water in it. So I'm going to take 1 TSP of the solution
and pour it in my mixture. And the last thing is 3 teaspoons of Aloevera Gel.
It soothes the skin and give the serum gel like consistency. Now mix these
ingredients really well with a clean spoon. If you want your serum to be
little thick, then add one to two teaspoons of aloevera gel to it and
store it in a clean airtight jar. Now I'm going to show you how to apply it. Take 4
to 5 drops of the serum in your hand using a clean spatula, I would suggest
that you never dip your fingers in any jar, as it can contaminate the contents.
Apply few dots on your whole face in the morning before makeup and let it sit on
the skin for a few minutes. It serves as an awesome makeup base and doesn't leave
any oily residue on the skin. It rather gives you the glow that
everybody craves and you can be confident that the oils in the serum are
healing your acne and soothing skin while you are enjoying your glowy skin
Just a little tip here, Never rub any product on your face, rather just place it on the
skin and massage it gently to sink it in. Now look at my face, what a nice subtle
glow I got from the serum! Again guys this is strictly for people with oily
skin I'll show different serums for different
skin types in my next few videos, so keep an eye if you liked this video please
give it a thumbs up and share it with your friends to make them glow and yeah
don't forget to subscribe :)
