last Thursday here was a Thanksgiving Day and I want to tell my appreciation

to her friends school and family more than everyone to my mom but that bridge

never appointment my language related to my mom is not in English but in my

language is because some people start to say that I became more Americanized that

I changed I did not more than that I know my language and I know where I came

from and I didn't even write an appointment my language so the rest of

the media is gonna be in my language determining for Russian first lady

(Speaking Russian) For the last couple days people tell me that I became Americanized

and that I am forgetting my culture and language

Actually, it is not true. Last Thursday, it was a Thanksgiving day.

and that day I wrote a poem to my mom in the name of appreciation.

Everything You Need To Know About Home Pregnancy Tests

Taking a pregnancy test can be the most nerve-wracking two to five minutes of your life. Yet surprisingly, very few women seem to know how they work. Well, today I'm going to give you some awesome background knowledge on pregnancy tests.

Pregnancy tests have been around forever.

Believe it or not, the earliest forms of the pregnancy testwere on the scene around 1350 BCE. Ancient Egyptians peed on wheat and barley to confirm whether or not a woman was with child — it could even predict gender.

What's even wilder is they tested this method in the early '60s and it predicted with 70% accuracy. Not bad for a pre-Google society!. How do they work?.

Modern day home tests work by detecting The Pregnancy Hormone or human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in urine. Typically, the hormone becomes present shortly after a fertilized egg buries into the uterine lining. HCG levels multiple every few days from there on.

What is the best time to take them?. The best time to take a urine pregnancy test is the day after your missed period.

Assuming a woman has a consistent follicular phase (the time your body produces hormones that allow your eggs to mature) and luteal phase (the time from ovulation to your next period), your body will have had enough time for the egg to implant and start producing HCG by that time. Having regular menstrual cycles makes it easier to know when to test.

And having irregular cycles could make timing the pregnancy test more challenging. Why do they fail sometimes?. Unfortunately, very few women have the idealized "regular 28-day cycle" and they can vary widely from 21 to 35 days.

And some conditions, like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or luteal phase defects, can require medical intervention to help regulate cycles. Because of this, the best time to take a pregnancy test really depends on your knowledge of your cycle.

The goal is several days after you believe you have implanted or around 14 days after you have ovulated. Are some brands really better than others?.

With correct use, all pregnancy test should be able to determine if one is pregnant. Most of them claim to be about 99% accurate, but if you keep reading that only applies after a missed period.

The biggest difference is how long the test will take to detect pregnancy based on the presence of HCG in urine. However, from time to time women get false negatives or false positives.

Do cheaper brands work as well as more expensive brands?. Cheaper test and digitals often require higher HCG levels for detection, but don't count a test out because of its price. Many TTC'ers swear by the dollar store $1 test.

What causes a false negative? . False negatives occur for many reasons. The most common is taking a pregnancy test too early.

As someone who has been through two rounds of TTC, I have learned the hard way that every day counts for detectable HCG levels. Other reasons for false negatives include: low test sensitivity, user error, expired test, or diluted urine.

Also, no one knows why, but there are some women who just don't get positives on a urine test and have to confirm via blood test. False negatives are much more common than false positives.

What about false positives?. False positives are a bit more complex. Ectopic pregnancy, a recent miscarriage/ chemical pregnancy, and fertility medicinecan all lead to false positives. Similarly, user error or evap lines can lead to false positives.

A false positive can also be a sign of something more serious. In my case, a false positive shortly after delivery was one of several signs that I was experiencing a retained placenta after giving birth.

Other medical conditions like kidney disease, ovarian cyst, and ovarian cancer can also lead to incorrect results. Always follow the instructions.

Different tests have different methods. If the test says to use the dropper, you can't pee on the test. If it says five days after your missed period, taking it three days after ovulation probably won't be too helpful.

Pay attention to those expiration dates. Each pregnancy test comes with an expiration date. It's important that you don't use a test past that date for risk of an unreliable result.

We've come a long way from the pee on crops days. But I'm sure the women were equally as anxious to see the results as we are today.

Hello Kitty Cake Design with Candy Clay - Duration: 9:32.

In this video I'm sharing a Hello Kitty cake design made with white chocolate

candy clay. If you like what you see subscribe and ring the bell so you'll be

notified every time I upload a new video. It starts with two tiers of a crumb

coated marble cake with strawberries and buttercream inside. The bottom tier is

covered with rosettes. The rosettes are made with the tip number 22 and my

favorite Italian meringue buttercream recipe. If you want a free copy of my Top

out the little red book on the right side of the page. Just click on that and

you'll get your free download. To make a rosette start at the 9 o'clock position

if you're right-handed. Squeeze as you move the tip in a circular motion to the

right. When you get to the endpoint release the pressure but continue moving

the tip. If you're left-handed start at the 3 o'clock position and move left.

To create an ombre color effect start with your lighter color first and then

work your way down to the darker color. This way you can just mix in a little

additional color with each line of rosettes.

The Hello Kitty the flowers and the plaque are made with candy clay which is

also known as chocolate modeling paste. I will link up to the recipe before you at

the end of the video. The candy clay can be colored easily just mix in a little

bit to the piece of clay and mix it in with your hands, it's super easy. You'll

need cornstarch.

You'll need an exacto, skewers, a rolling pin, tappit's if you're gonna do letters

or numbers and a small amount of gum paste. A ball tool comes in handy and

some cutters for flowers and leaves. Warm up the candy clay for a few seconds in

the microwave and then you can knead it and roll it out. Watch how I make the

Hello Kitty. You can see my very detailed tutorial on making Hello Kitty if you

need the voice instruction. The link is below and at the end of the video for

you. The process is the same for fondant, gum paste and modeling chocolate.

I just adjusted the height of Hello Kitty body by cutting off a piece.

Picking your child's name is serious business. The ease or difficulty of the task greatly depends on your partner in the task (if you have one). Because let's face it, some people's partners kinda suck at picking names.

Some couples wear matching outfits and "mutually" view each other as best friends. They seem to stay on the same page and often punctuate each other's sentences with laughter.

These couples will (likely) have no trouble picking a name they both love for their bundle of joy. That may or may not be because one person secretly makes all the decisions. They will announce it on their joint Facebook page.

Other couples enjoy each other but have respect for each other boundaries as well as the importance of individuality. They have best friends but prioritize their relationship.

Unlike the joint-Facebook-page couples, we admire them for their hashtag relationship goals. They strike a perfect balance between individuality and group cohesion.

This couple will run into a few bumps, but in the end, they will work together lovingly to find a name each of them loves.

Then there are the couples who just can't agree on anything. For this couple, passive-aggressive comments might lead to a fight over who is responsible for leaving the juice outside of the fridge.

They not only have their own Facebook accounts, but they occasionally get into fights and use the block feature to post statuses about the other partner. This couple has widely varying opinions on what is important in a baby name.

One believes an important quality is the uniqueness of the name. The other values tradition and wants a strong classic name.

This couple will have to pick their baby's name by telling the nurse what to put on the paper while one is absent from the room or still in a post-labor fog.

Alright, it's possible I oversimplified the diversity present in relationships. Most of us are a mix of two or all three kinds of couples.

But either way, selecting a baby's name is a big deal. Picking the baby's name is one of the highlights of new parenthood. It exists in the ranks of highly exciting moments like the first and twenty-week ultrasounds and the birth itself.

But if you find yourself fighting with your partner about the name because you believe they (like their mother) have terrible taste in names, well, the whole process can get a bit more complicated. Here are a few possible options for resolving the debate:.

Each of you picks one. Couples have all sorts of solutions for avoiding the baby name quarrel.

An idea that leads to mixed feelings is giving each partner the chance to pick a name — one picks the first name, the other picks the middle name. Of course, the coolest part is choosing the first name.

I feel sorry for the poor sucker who has to pick the often overlooked middle name. Though not without flaw, this option helps each partner feel equally involved at name selection.

Some couples employ an alternate form of this approach if the couple is planning to have more than one child, with each parent choosing one child's name. I guess it doesn't matter as long as it works for you.

Though if you have five children, one person is getting the short end of the stick. Exclude names that one of you dislike.

The second kind of couple above might appreciate this option. It means if one partner hates one of the names on your list, it goes.

My husband and I tried this with our first pregnancy. I was so in love with the name Emmanuel that I started calling our yet-to-be-born baby "Manny." Naturally, Hubs hated it.

I reluctantly removed my favorite name from the list. And we decided to pick a name we both thought was "okay" instead of a name one of us loved, and the other hated.

A potential consequence of this option is having one of you resent the other for making them give up their favorite pick. This may not be the best route if you have a petty "I hate everything" partner.

Allow a trusted third party to pick. This baby naming stuff can get pretty heavy. Sometimes you will decide it's easier to call in the referee.It might sound strange at first, but having a third party select the name isn't that uncommon.

Sometimes this option shows in the form of naming the baby after a special loved one. It can also be as simple as asking one of your other children what name they like most after you have narrowed down the selection.

For families like mine, there is no shortage of opinions. Think of it as having lots of names to choose from. One of them is bound to have something good, right?.

Welcome to Rentman.

In Rentman, you can plan and manage the daily business of your rental company. From creating

and sending a quote, planning your equipment, scheduling crew and vehicles ..

to handling invoicing.

In this video, we'll give you an introduction of Rentman to help you and your team getting started

Let's start with the interface.

In the top right corner, you can access the user menu by clicking on your name.

From this menu you can edit your profile and password and sign out.

If you need any help you can find our Support Center and introduction video's from the Help menu.

On the left side you find the navigation bar.

You can toggle the size by clicking on the Rentman logo.

In the center of the navigation bar are your databases where you find all of your equipment ..

.. contacts, crew members and vehicles.

In the crew members we find everyone that works with my company.

I want my colleague John to be also able to work in Rentman.

So we'll create a new account for him.

I enter his email, and give him a username and password that he can use to login.

Next, I assign him a user role to set what permissions he has.

John needs full rights, so I will assign him the power user role.

I have chosen from the preset user roles but you are free to create and edit user roles

in the configuration.

I have also added my freelancers, like Ben, with the freelancer user role.

With this user role Ben does not have access to financial information, but he can manage

his own schedule.

Let's move on to the equipment database where we find all equipment.

You can see a full list of your equipment here.

As you can see, the equipment is divided in folders, that you can set up in your own way.

Setting up your equipment can be done by manually adding new equipment.

Or, you can import your equipment if you have an Excel list.

You can group your equipment the way you use it, by bundling items into kits or cases.

A case is a fixed bundle of equipment always rented out together. Like an amplifier rack

or a laptop case always containing the same laptop adapter and mouse combination.

The contents of a kit are flexible and can vary within each project.

Here in the DJ folder I have a mixer and a player.

I sometimes rent them out separately but often together in a DJ kit.

The DJ kit contains one mixer and two players.

You can also add accessories, like cables, to make sure they won't be forgotten.

For each item, you can view the availability.

To do this, select one or multiple items and open the timeline here.

The timeline shows where and when equipment is planned and how much of your equipment

you have available.

Here we see a microphone and we can see the availability details by hovering over the

timeline bars.

Rentman provides you with multiple tools to help you keep an eye on what's happening.

Let me highlight the most relevant ones, starting with My Schedule

My Schedule is where you and your crew members can check and manage their own schedule.

I view the my schedule module from the point of view of Ben, our freelancer I have planned

on a couple of projects, so I can show you how Rentman looks from the point of view of

your crew.

In this case I, as Ben, can see on which jobs I am planned.

Here I am planned to build from 10 to 4, by clicking on the function I see the location

and a note that the loading should be done through the backdoor.

I see here that a floorplan is also attached.

Every user can indicate their availability in this module.

By dragging my mouse I can indicate that I'm not available next week.

I also have an appointment with the dentist the week after.

This way, the planner knows when not to plan me

The Rentman app also contains the 'My Schedule module' and is the easiest way for freelancers

to check their personal planning with direct access to project information.

You can download our mobile app from the Google Play store for Android or the App store if

you have an Apple device.

I am logged in to my own account again to continue our Rentman tour.

Notifications inform you about events relevant to you.

For example, we can see a notification coming in that a customer has just digitally signed

a quotation.

I can directly follow up and start planning the project by clicking on the notification.

You can also receive this notification via the mobile app or in your email.

Next, we'll be going into the fundamentals of Rentman: projects.

With projects you can manage and plan all the stages of your rentals and rental events,

from dry hires to big festivals or tours.

Here we see all projects we have created.

Within a project, you create and store your documents. Like pull sheets, quotes and invoices.

and you plan your equipment, crew and vehicles from your databases, so all the information

you need is in one place.

Here we see a project in option, indicated by the orange color.

By opening the widget we can quickly see project details.

As you can see we've already created and sent a quote for this project and are waiting

for the client to confirm before we can move forward.

Once our client digitally signs the quote the project status will automatically change

to confirmed.

As we see for this confirmed project we have already created a packing list, and completed some tasks

I have a floorplan which I want to be accessible for all crew. So I'll add it to the project by dragging it.

My crew members can now easily access it from the app.

We just spoke to our client who wants the lighting in yellow and green so we will add

a note to the project for our crew members.

We also want to evaluate this project afterwards.

The task will remind us.

Notes and files are also accessible in the mobile app.

To have a more detailed view of projects, you can use filters and presets.

In this case I want to view projects for the upcoming week, which I can set here.

And I only want to see confirmed projects for now, which I can do with this preset.

You can also select on how to display your projects by selecting one of four views.

For example the calendar view gives you a better idea on the amount of projects you

have in the current month.

How to connect a triggered spark gap: Electrical terminals - Duration: 3:09.

No cats and the spark gap assembly area here you take him?

Today, I'm going to show you guys how to hook up a triggered spark gap you can see

Here are the main electrodes. That's where the juice flows and

Here is the trigger terminal. So we're going to go through those electrical connections

Now I have a piece of busbar here that I've already drilled the hole

Okay, and then I have a standard busbar termination adapter. Same deal.

The only difference here

Is that the adapter has an anti-corona counterbore on it. And so that means we need to use a socket wrench

Okay, guys we've got the the main things done here

the two busbar connectors are hooked up and we can easily have 50 kA go through this switch now

Now we need to deal with the trigger terminal

So I have a wire from my trigger generator that I've already crimped a 1/4 inch ring termination on to

I just take off the nut and the washer on the trigger terminal,

Slip on my ring termination there

Here I'm going to use two wrenches to 7/16 wrenches

I'm going to put an open end on the bottom nut

And I'm going to do that to prevent the trigger terminal from rotating inside the spark gap

if I really crank down on this without a wrench on the bottom

I can potentially break something inside the spark gap

There we go, all the electrical connections are done. Trigger,

main electrodes.

We're almost ready to use this thing. We just need to hook up the

two gas ports and we'll talk about that next time
