Fallout 76: You Can Play Solo But...Let's Play Together! - Duration: 9:18.

fallout 76 news update whoa yes I played fallout 76 yesterday

the full beta with only one bathroom break I guess that's a little bit too

much information you didn't get to play a digit I'm so sorry I missed that

I'm really crushed I got to play with China did gets played fallout shelter

though I'm very proud that you're playing it I got to play with two of my

subs I got to play with James and Manos thank y'all for playing with me we got

some we really enjoyed it in fact I played the first half as a team with

James and Manos and the second half I played solo Manos like grease Manos yes

yes yes and he has a very good accent and he would he would start speaking

Greece Grecian creature whatever it is and yeah and we would be talking and all

of a sudden he'd start speaking that it's gonna send me sand to sand in the

accent and he didn't know I could understand him why should he watches the

videos first anyway uh the second half I played solo and out we were ejected I

even I even killed the Grafton monster by myself

ta I did absolutely it was pretty awesome uh there's nothing about Fallout

76 that has damp dampened my spirit spirits at all about it thank you that's

one see there's that's why I'm here I was trying to figure out why I was here

cuz this is the second take I I so enjoyed yesterday

nine hours played nine hours he did so much fun now there were a lot of bugs I

I won't lie it's rough around the edges it has some performance issues

diamonds are rough around the edges though I hope I hope I hope they can get

it smoother by launch' it definitely has some some bug issues it's still in beta

form though I mean there's no reason to get crappy and complaining and negative

but I hope they can get it better by by lunch

but so much fun I built I built the base I played solo and and you can play it

solo you really can't there's there's still some people that are really scared

about playing it so I will say there are some events that are that you probably

need some teammates with and I was talking to Trey about that today and

there are some Trey was talking about needing someone to play with and we came

up with something here on the King fan man channel

we have 11 over 1100 people right here on the King fan man channel and most of

us here on this channel love fallout 76 and are playing fallout

76 so why not why can't we play together well we have the discord channel so we

have made three new discord channels as a way to connect with fallout 76 on the

Xbox the ps4 and the PC so what I'd like y'all to do is go to discord if you're

not on discord please do that the link is down below in every one of the videos

so get on discord go to discord and leave your gamertag leave your username

whatever it is because there's a lot of people that would like to have someone

have a friend to play with on fallout 76 so is there like a main discord yes the

main one is the King's corner and of course you can leave it there as well

but go to the individual one to leave your tag but if you want to have a

conversation with a whole group then you're gonna need to go back to the

King's corner Kingsport yeah perfect yeah the main dish for channels felt the

King's corner and then there's those separate ones to go and leave your tag

Kingsport Xbox King's corner yes II get what just as fallout 76 Xbox all that

but it's under the Kings box if they didn't want me naming so that that's a

good that's a good solution there it and speaking of that I have been working

on a schedule I told y'all I was going to do a schedule for fallout 76 after

lunch would you hand me my schedule please I I want to be able to play with

as many of my subscribers as I can and I'm putting a schedule up on the screen

right now this this it can be changed yeah it can be changed if I need it to

be no it's not going to be in your hands it can be changed if I need it but I

tried to make it where obviously it's both on the Xbox and on its own PC and I

made it three and three so it's it's equal but I did it both midday and

evening so maybe you know where wherever United States people are gonna be mad

that you didn't do it in the morning you cannot make everybody happy in today's

society well if I need Facebook if I need to do it earlier one day earlier

that's fine that's why I wanted y'all to look it over if there's looking at Renee

look it over now no wait don't wait please tell me if

there's something that needs to change wait hey that's right cuz I really want

to play with as many of you guys that want to that I can't he really does

yeah so I will start doing this schedule after launch now I'm not gonna say you

know I'm gonna stick to this 100% there may be days that I can't but that's

gonna be the schedule that I'm gonna try to stick to so that absolutely is for

you now there is a beta going to be tomorrow I cannot wait yes

but the beta tomorrow is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time which cuts right in

the Smackdown cuts our whole kick-ass yeah the King cast is supposed to be at

4:30 and you're gonna co-host you were gonna co-host anyway

yeah so what are we gonna do well we're gonna we're gonna do the King cast after

the beta so we can talk about wait that's the same way at the same time

without even practicing hey we did that good it's pretty awesome so we're gonna

give you time to to rest go to the restroom get something to drink whatever

you want to do to rest y'all been resting that's it good no you sit rest

go to the restroom a play and fall out is not resting

it is very taxing it's work so I'll be working so it all will be playing so the

King cast will be 8:30 to 9:30 tomorrow night central time right after the beta

ends so please join us live tomorrow night at 8:30 for the king cast

following the beta maybe I'll and then of course son and

then of course Sunday the beta is 1 to 8 Central Time as well

So I'm here with Hanna. There are murmurs of an election coming up, is that true?

Yes, that is true.

Alright, so what can students do about that?

Students have the opportunity to register to vote and actually vote

at ASU's ballot center

that's located at PV West.

So once they're here what do they have to do? Is it hard?

No, not at all. So if you decide to vote in person

and you're registered to vote in Maricopa County, you can come to PV West.

The ballot center will be located in room 151.

Bring your voter ID card or driver's license

and they will scan it for you. They'll print off your ballot,

and you can fill out your ballot and turn it in there.

If you got a ballot in the mail, you can fill it out at home

and drop it off at PV West as well if you don't have enough time to mail it in.

Sounds so easy.

It's super easy.

There's no excuse not to vote at this point.

We're really focusing on educating our students about what's going to be on the ballot,

who's running for office.

Your job is so much more important than mine.

OK but like, there's millions and millions of people voting. Why should I vote?

There are so many issues that affect young people.

For example, being a university student.

The amount of money that you pay to come to ASU is actually something

that can be affected by your vote.

If you have any questions regarding voting or registering to vote,

wanting to learn more, please come to the second floor of the Student Pavilion

and ask a USG member.

What Should You Do When the Stock Market Crashes? - Duration: 5:24.

Shannon Jones: In terms of the average everyday investor, when it comes to protecting yourself,

preparing for not only bad news, but also corrections within the market, what are some

general words of wisdom when it comes to portfolios?

Todd Campbell: Ignore a lot of what you hear. [laughs] I have to say it.

Just back up a little bit. We saw this nearly 10% decline in the market this month.

Over the course of a month, okay, if I lose a percent here or there, that's not such a horrible feeling.

But we had two separate days this past month where the S&P 500 fell more than 3% in the trading session.

I guarantee you that we have listeners out there who saw their accounts fall by multiples of that,

because some of these stocks were falling 5-10% on those days. That's hard.

It's hard, as an investor, to watch and see that, and not want to do something. Right, Shannon?

We are hard-wired to avoid danger.

It doesn't matter if that danger is a ghoul coming up behind us that we can't see,

the creepy music sounding, or if it's coming in a falling account balance.

We need to fight back, and a way we can fight back against those emotions and those reactions

is to be very proactive.

Recognize that 3% declines, yeah, it's bad, but they're not uncommon. They happen.

Most of the time, the stock market is actually trading higher.

If you had gone out and bought the 3% dip, you would oftentimes come out ahead within 30 days.

If you look just since 2000, you've seen the S&P 500 drop at least 3% 66 times.

66 single-day drops of 3% or more. Undeniably, each one of those felt absolutely horrible.

Right, Shannon? Jones: It was painful, to say the least.

And one thing I want to bring out is, especially if you're a healthcare investor, it's important to diversify.

That helps at least lessen the pain and the blow long-term.

I will say, though, that even if the market were to go into true correction territory

-- maybe a recession, even -- the healthcare industry is one of those sectors that, generally,

I don't like the term "recession-proof." I don't really think anything is.

But, in terms of performance, if you think about it, when it comes to medications,

when it comes to surgeries, even, this is one of the sectors where people will tend to continue

to spend money. You need your medications. If you're sick, you need to go to the doctor.

If you're really sick, you may need to have surgery.

There are definitely some defensive plays that you can go after.

There are stocks like Johnson & Johnson, a huge dividend aristocrat stock

that's got a very diversified revenue base.

It has the consumer goods, it has a quite impressive immune oncology branch to it, as well.

Another one is Intuitive Surgical. That's probably one of The Fool's top stocks.

Intuitive Surgical is focused on robotic surgery, and really led the way with robotic surgery.

There are a number of different ways that you can start to diversify the risk across

the healthcare space.

And really, even more so, your portfolio shouldn't just be made of all healthcare stocks, either.

Campbell: Right. Diversify, diversify, diversify. See?

I said it. I'm going to try to do an episode where I don't.

I said it again. I would also add to that list, Shannon, don't use margin.

Margin cuts both ways.

We saw plenty of people, I'm sure, last month who ended up getting forced out of stocks

because of margin calls, and forced selling by their brokers.

Just don't do margin. Diversify. Don't use margin.

Keep a little bit of dry powder, a little bit of cash on the sidelines.

It doesn't have to be a lot.

Even if it's only 5% of the portfolio, that will allow you to take advantage of these drops.

When a name like Intuitive Surgical goes on sale, or Illumina, or some of these other

great companies that we talk about on the show, when those go on sale, you're able to

step in and at least deploy some of that money on those 3% down days.

To go back to that one more time, to hammer this point home, there have been 18 one-day

drops of at least 3% just since 2010.

And 12 of the 16 leading up to the two that happened this month, the market was higher 30 days later.

So, don't react in the moment to those down 3% days. Have a watchlist.

Have some top stocks ready, a little cash on the side to be able to buy and take advantage of it.

It's an opportunity.

1 of the top 20 things I've learned in business is to work with people who

respect you. The easiest way to understand that is they tend to be

people that will turn up on time, or they won't leave early, or they say they're

going to speak to you at a certain time of the day and then then they do. Or if

there's a problem they let you know. They give you advance warning that they have

challenges. In other words they respect you, they respect you for what you are

and who you are, and what I found is that when you work with people who don't

respect you that's when all the challenges come up. They're the people

that don't talk to you, that don't answer the phone, that don't answer emails, that

when they do that they're not very good at actually doing it. Work with people

who respect you to have an easier life.
