hi YouTube Theresa live here in I'm
getting in on this conversation again
about advertisers and creators revenue
and how a lot of these advertisers are
pulling out and I want to start here by
saying that this is how I see them the
traditional media because in some many
senses media's media however you have
big business big media and big politics
all wrapped up together and that's one
of the things that we you know may not
be aware of that's what I've seen is how
they're all kind of working together and
so you know like when they all have the
same story think of the news
organizations when all of them run the same
story doesn't anyone see anything about
that but I had some things here that I
wanted to you know that I had written
down but first before I say that here's
some of the companies that have been
mentioned General Motors starbucks Pepsi
walmart AT&T Verizon and this has come
from boogie2988 philip defranco and
drama alert and so these are the some of
the channels I've been following up with
you know following the story on but I've
written some things actually in the
YouTube help forum about my opinions on
this because I've been a content creator
on YouTube for 11 years and honestly my
revenue was down like eighty percent
from 2012 and I i was posting family
friendly content for a long time and
then two years ago it just i got to the
point it's like what do I have to do
what do I have to do to get it to
increase you know what do I have to do
so i thought okay i need to change and
do something different because for four
years i watched it go down and in so i
mean it's it's really unfortunate it
just seems kind of like um from that
point it just kept going down and my
content was not getting served up why
why is that
and and see we went through the same
thing when I was first on YouTube
they're talking about the same thing oh
whoa well if you see advertisers content
show up on videos that aren't friendly
tell the advertiser make sure you tell
the advertiser well to me that's
propaganda that's propaganda from
the traditional media because they are
big business big media and politics all
mixed together now this is what I wrote
I said advertisers have controlled and
dictated the narrative for a very long
time with radio newspaper there was a
monopoly when they started out with air
wave TV there was a monopoly with cable
TV there was a monopoly for who could
broadcast now anyone can broadcast and
the leaders of countries don't like the
idea of losing control of the
brainwashing they have indoctrinated
on all of us for their ill-gotten
gains why is it some products can be put
on a front typically a humanitarian
front as their products are gently
floating out of the back of military
aircraft bombing the country for natural
resources as far as being a little
facetious when I wrote that but and then
I go on to say we have all seen american
troops throwing candy to Middle Eastern
kids those doing the protesting are part
of the three-headed dragon big business
big media and big politics nothing we
say and do as content creators is going
to be right because they want people
watching the old media where they
dictate the dialogue those advertisers
are the ones with a product to sell if
their sales are down then maybe it's
maybe its because they didn't advertise on youtube with
follow up my own question and it says
companies can sell parts of their
company rename the company create a side
company hide the company yet there is
still a history of the company
contributing to war and violence isn't
it a bit
hypocritical to say that YouTube is
showing reality real life situations yet
some of these companies who are
contributing to war violence and
terrorism have directly contributed to
the sentiments of folks in other
countries picking up their cameras and
recording their life and the destruction
they are living that is like knowing
that withholding basic needs of water
and food create homelessness and death
yet the company is doing it don't want
us to see what they have created they
don't want to take responsibility yet
they have a direct hand in creating the
violence and then I share the Wikipedia
history of General Motors and see
General Motors has made military
equipment and so but you know as we know
with a lot of companies they rename
things they sell them to other parts
they diversify and move things to other
places so then they make it harder for
us to connect the dots to know what type
of activities is happening with
companies and so yeah that's just my
kind of my relationship because if you
go to Wikipedia com you go see history
of General Motors making military
equipment and and so YouTube represents
the world in a way and people's
sentiments from around the world so I'm
thinking why is it okay for them to make
military equipment and stuff that
probably still exists that's harmful to
other countries but yet then they want
to say their family friendly that
doesn't make any sense to me and then
there was this last point Oh someone had
said something about oh they said its
creators this was interesting they wrote
as creators when we get when do we get
the choice or a control panel to ban
advertisers and ads from our channels
advertisers that we find repulsive and
do not fit in with our morals when will
that be implemented or do we just have
to put up with their brainwashing I
won't hold my breath and then I put you
make a great point you can do that
through Adsense with allowing of blocking
ads not just through youtube I just
think the advertisers are being assholes
and I do I think they're just being
assholes and so it's the you know
there's a three-headed dragon the
advertisers the traditional media and
big politics because they have the
narrative they've been running the
narrative they've been dictating the
narrative they've been brainwashing the
country and then I go on to put I notice
well Walmart was on the list and I won't
miss going there because i have other
places to go mixed with online shopping
i was verbally assaulted by a cashier at
my local walmart a few weeks weeks ago
for taking video with my camera at the
self checkout which was moving really
slow she accused me of taking video of
her and she threatened to call the
police on me because she said it was
against the law and I needed her
permission to take pictures of her I
told her the video was not of her or
about her she went and got store security
while I was checking myself out you
can't even see her in the video because
she is so far back but Walmart is
replacing paid people jobs with robot
checkouts and expecting the customers to
check their self out I thought this was
poor customer service and decided to
make a video I told the store security
that I was targeted because i was using
a camera and she didn't target the
people using mobile devices who can be
recording and taking pictures to the
store security admitted that she knew
people take pictures in the store with
mobile devices but I could I have no
desire to go to that store and let the
employees verbally bully me anymore and
that's why I was thinking it's like
that's what we have right now is a
country of of people who bull just
bully other people because you know they
don't get the results that they want you
know because a narrative has been forced
on us from the past and so now we are
exercising our freedom of will power to
do things differently and they don't
like that you know so you know and yeah
that's just how I see it and so
it's like I can't say anything negative
about church or religion even though
they have an indoctrination that's
harmful to children that's harmful to
people and so I'm fine if you know not
advertising not putting advertising on
content if if that's what has to happen
for me to be able to talk about this
stuff I'm going to talk about it because
because I think that it's a crime
against humanity for these companies
these big traditional business companies
to dictate a narrative to create some
censorship in content creators and so
I'll just go on continuing to speak even
if i don't have advertising on my videos
that's fine I'll find something else
yeah it was nice it was fun while it
lasted but I'll just go on and and and
keep making content and you know and
i'll put it up there and they're the
ones who are missing out not me because
they have products to sell i'll just
keep on doing what I do and America is
going to move on in the direction that
we want to move without being bullied by
the thinking of the old generation the
narrow box of narcissistic thinking that
they have oppressed on to people and so
yeah that's just my experience and I'm
not feeling sorry for any of it because
I don't think people's thinking should
be controlled you know you have a
product you should advertise it to
people but the problem is politics gets
mixed in there too and they're losing
control of the American population and
that's what they don't like so they it's
almost like they go to any measure to
try to maybe get people to go back to
that old medium we don't like it we
don't like it we were exercising our
freedom of speech right now and we don't
like censorship
we don't like other people telling us
what to do or how to think and that's
just how it is we're going to speak up
and we're not going to be quite anymore
because we're tired of it we're tired of
being bullied and actually we're the
ones who have been bullied if anything
we're the ones who have been bullied and
oppressed and repressed by by the
dialogue by harmful dialogue it's a
crime criminal dialogue is what it is so
yeah that's all I have to say about that
for right now and so yeah and if you
want to follow along with that dialogue
that's fine that's your freedom to
follow along and not think any further
just stay like a ping-pong ball inside
of the tiny box that's fine but I'm
going any different direction and so

I'm the director of immersive design for Google VR and AR products.
Right now, with current VR technology we're pretty good in terms of the visuals and the
audio, but what about the other three senses?
After exploring automated technologies using robotics, we found that we could actually
achieve a better quality simulation with well-trained humans.
We call them Haptic Helpers, and they can simulate a wide range of experiences.
Things like smelling perfume, reading a book, sitting by a fireplace
or even petting a dog.
Figuring out how to simulate such a range of experiences has been challenging but rewarding.
And our helpers inventiveness cannot be overstated.

Our helpers are constantly updating their repertoires to stay up to date with the latest
VR applications being released.
And the feedback we've gotten from early user testing has been incredible.

Getting Back on Track | Vacation Detox Tips - Duration: 15:10.
What's up youtube?
Welcome back to my channel.
Um, if you've been following my last few videos, you know that I went on vacation to Punta
Cana, then I went back home to my parents' house for a few days and I was eating out
a lot and trying to see friends and family which usually involves like going out to dinner,
or meeting for coffee, and ice cream.
um, and then, after that, I went to Washington D.C. for a school conference.
And that involved like catered food and it was very long days with minimal time to workout.
So, that being said, now I am back in my apartment on my own and you know, kind of back to everyday
life.
So, I just wanted to share with you guys some of the things that I do when I've been on
vacation or indulging for a little bit, maybe enjoying myself a little too much, um and
not being as consistent with my workouts and some of the things that I do to get back on
track once I've had one of those times.
So, first of all, there's some things that you should not do when you're trying to get
back on track and the number one thing that I think you should not do is a juice cleanse
or a fad diet in order to drop the weight that you may have gained while you were on
vacation, you know, drinking alcohol and eating dessert.
Um, because fad diets really just don't work.
Um, I know that they are really appealing because they're a quick fix--especially if
you're just trying to shed those few pounds that you gained on vacation, but honestly,
you're just setting yourself up for a vicious cycle of binge eating and crash dieting.
I know because I've been there.
I've fallen victim to the fad diets in the past and it just really, it doesn't help you
and it ends up making you more hungry when you decide to finally you know, let yourself
off that diet and you get into periods where you're super super strict and then, you go
crazy and eat everything in site because you're depriving yourself.
So, honestly, if you just go back to your normal eating habits before uh, you went on
vacation or before you over-indulged, I promise you will go back to the weight that you were
before you went away.
If you body is at a caloric surplus, that's when you gain weight.
So if you just eat a lot of extra calories for a couple of days, and you drop it back
down to your maintenance level calories, which is what you were eating before and the amount
of exercise you were getting, you go right back to the weight that you were before.
And, I know that it can be tempting to just like you know, do a juice cleanse and get
it all out quickly, but trust me, in the long wrong it's just really not good for you body.
Um, another thing that I don't think you should do is weigh yourself as soon as you get back.
Um, I know it can be tempting to see how much you've gained and try to use that as motivation.
I used to tell myself that you know, "if i see that I gained 5 pounds, that will motivate
me to eat even healthier" and it's really just not good for your mental health.
I have a rule now that I don't weigh myself until I have been back on track and eating
right and exercising the way I normally did until I've been doing that for 3 days.
So, usually by then, I still might be up you know a pound or two, but it's more reasonable
and I don't freak out because chances are, if you weigh yourself right after indulging,
it's just gonna be water weight and excess salt that you've been having and it's really
not real weight so, there's no point in stressing yourself out over it and like I said, if you
get back to your normal schedule for 3 days, I guarantee that you will be at a more realistic
weight for yourself.
Okay, and then, kind of going along with that, don't beat yourself up for what you ate or
for missing workouts while you were away.
Um, first of all, you can't take it back, you know, what's done is done and if you over-indulged
a little bit, had too much food, beating yourself up about it is not going to give you those
calories back.
So, it's really not worth it.
You're just hurting yourself mentally and it can drive you to do crazy things in the
gym um, or you know, restrict your calories insanely and those are really really things
that you don't want to do.
My final "don't" is to go crazy in the gym to try to make up for the excess calories
that you ate.
Don't spend hours on the elliptical or the treadmill trying to burn off all the calories.
Instead, you know, push yourself a little bit harder in the gym.
You definitely want to make the extra calories count and push yourself to the limit, work
hard in your workouts, but don't spend hours upon hours in the gym because weight loss
simply doesn't work that way.
You can't just go to the gym for 4 hours one day and stay on the treadmill, walk you know,
50 miles and burn off all of your calories.
At that point, you'll just send your body into kind of starvation mode and you'll end
up eating muscle instead of fat.
So, it's really actually not beneficial to you um, to do that to yourself.
So, you know, maybe push yourself a little bit harder, incorporate some more hit cardio
or you know, take the stairs instead of the elevator a few times in the week where you
come back.
Uh, and just make a conscious effort to move more and be less lazy, but don't kill yourself
and don't go crazy with the cardio.
So, some things that I think you should do are to kind of get yourself back on track.
Now, I am not personally a huge meal prepping person.
Um, I just don't really like to eat the same thing over and over again, but, that being
said, I will plan out what I'm going to eat for the week or for the day--especially when
I come back from a trip like this and I want my diet to be on point.
Um, I won't necessarily prepare it ahead of time but I'll sit down and I'll think about
what I wanna eat and make sure that I'm incorporating healthy foods and then, if I have it all planned
out, I'm more likely to choose those options that I set aside for myself.
And I make sure that I have them um, by going to the grocery store right when I come back.
And it will just make it kind of mindless and you won't have to think about you know,
making healthy choices as they come up because the decision will already be made for you.
Kind of going along with that, you really really want to drink more water.
Um, a lot of times when you're over-indulging you're eating foods that are higher in sugar
and higher in sodium and those things make your body hold on to water.
So, whenever your body is eating or experiencing a diet different than what you normally do,
it tends to hold on to water.
And, a lot of times when we're on vacation or we're busy, we don't drink as much water
as we normally do in our daily routine.
So, that's gonna make you hold on to water even more because you're body's gonna say
"I'm used to getting you know, a certain amount of water and now I'm getting less so let me
conserve that supply."
It's like a survival mode for your body.
So, by drinking more water you're actually gonna help flush out your body and allow it
to release those water stores that it has and get rid of the excess salt and sugar in
your body.
So, really really important to drink more water.
It will make you feel so much better so much faster.
When I am planning my meals for the upcoming week I try to center my diet around more whole
foods with fresh foods and ingredients.
Um, that doesn't mean that I don't eat anything packaged, but I really try to eat whole foods
and stay away from stuff that is processed because those things tend to have a lot of
salt and sugar alcohols which can not be so good for your digestive system and for your
skin.
Um, I do eat those things in moderation in my regular diet, but if i'm trying to detox
after vacation I will make an effort to consume a little bit less of them for about a week
or so when I come back.
Also, a lot of times when we go on vacation we're eating strange foods that we don't normally
eat and more of them and honestly if I do this for a couple of days and I'm eating fattier
foods and sugar--more surgary foods than I normally do um, after a few days of that,
my stomach is not too happy with me.
So usually when I come back I don't feel that great with my GI symptoms.
So, what I do to kind of help that is um, a few things actually.
I will drink chamomile tea with this ginger-infused honey that I have . Um, i got this at like
a crafts fair um, but if you don't have this you can just sprinkle a little bit of ginger
in your tea with um, honey.
And, ginger is really good for the digestive system.
And it just helps with over all gut health.
So usually if i'm not feeling that great with my bowels, I will have the honey.
And another thing that you can drink is kombucha.
I have this um kevita, I believe is how you say it.
And it's a probiotic kombucha juice and it has a little bit of carbonation in it and
I find that drinking it helps also with my digestion.
Now it comes in this bottle which is about 16 ounces but I only drink 4 ounces at a time.
So I will get 4 servings out of this and um, I will take it over the course of at least
4 days.
I usually do it about every other day when I'm coming back.
Um, but if you drink this whole thing at once and you've never had kombucha before, you
will regret it.
So, definitely have it in a small quantity.
And I think in small amounts it can be very helpful for the digestive tract.
Another thing that I find helps um, with digestion is yoga.
If you watched my how to be a morning person video you know that I like to do yoga sometimes
in the morning.
When I'm coming back from vacation or I'm just not feeling that great, um, digestively,
I will do yoga.
And it really helps to just get your body moving in a different way and by the twists
and the movements in yoga, it can help get your GI system moving.
Um, I do yoga for free following youtube videos and two of my favorites are Yoga with Adriene
and then Erin Motz, I believe her channel is called the Bad Yogi.
Uh definitely check those two out.
They're totally free and a great resources, full length classes.
And I just think it's really helpful to kind of get things moving and increase your flexibility.
A lot of times after traveling, you know, we're crooked up in weird positions for long
periods of time.
Lots of sitting being on a plane or a bus or train and yoga can really just help to
re-mobilize your joints.
And then finally, just make yourself feel better.
A lot of times after traveling, eating bad, you know, being in public places, my skin
is out of control and so I have been using this black charcoal mask for about 4 months
maybe.
And I use it every sunday, but I don't take it with me when I go away.
So, I usually whenever I get back from a trip, I put it on.
It just helps to clear up my skin and only takes about 20 minutes and you peel it off,
but honestly anything you can do to make yourself feel better.
I always you know, put a lot of lotion on, moisturize my skin, maybe take a bath to relax.
Um, and just kind of get comfortable in your own life and get back to your normal routine
because where you are mentally has a big impact on how you are physically.
So yeah, those are my tips for getting back on track after indulging.
Um, the big thing to realize here is that you don't need to go crazy in the gym or go
crazy with your diet because ultimately if you just can ease back into life the way that
you were living it before, you will end up with a body and a mental state that is just
like it was before you left.
So, I know it can be tempting to freak out once you see your numbers go up on the scale
or you feel a little bit bloated, but really really try to you know, keep yourself in check
mentally and realize that if you over-indulge it's not the end of the world and you can
get back to where you were just by living the life that you were already living.

Studies have been published in peer review journals where it is suggested that a tummy tuck can,
in essence, have a long-term weight loss effect.
In one research, about 20 women had tummy tucks
where the amount of tissue removed was approximately 5 pounds.
A year later, 14 of these women had sustained weight loss greater than the weight of the tissue removed.
Patients with a BMI greater or equal to 25.5 maintained long term weight in a year.
They essentially decreased their weight by approximately 5.5% of the original BMI.
25 BMI is what we consider overweight.
So now the question is, can a cosmetic procedure help a patient lose weight?
It is believed that an increase in satiety seems to be an important contributor to long-term weight loss.
When asked about their eating habits, 75% of women say that they stay full longer throughout the day
after undergoing a tummy tuck.
Although the results of weight loss after tummy tuck is still a topic for debate,
it appears that overweight patients have significantly lost weight after a tummy tuck.
Some people believe that by reducing the amount of fat in the abdomen,
the hormones affecting appetite are affected as well.
However, these are just hypotheses and more studies need to be performed.
My take on tummy tuck is that in essence it is not a weight loss program
and people should not undergo it for the sole desire to lose weight.
Tummy tuck is a body contouring procedure
and requires thorough patient screening to determine eligibility.
If weight loss occurs after a tummy tuck, it should be considered as more of a bonus.
It should not be used as an excuse to undergo the procedure just to make weight loss easier for you.

to pay attention to.
You are a human being with energies flowing through your body that you may be unaware
of.

These energy meridians are important for the practices of acupuncture and acupressure.
The energy meridians of the body are also connected to a clock system that according
to ancient Chinese medicine is energizing different parts of your body at different
times of the day.
Waking between 3am and 5am every night is a sign that energies in that corresponding
part of your body are blocked or weak.
TROUBLE SLEEPING BETWEEN 9:00PM AND 11:00PM
Between 9 and 11pm is typically bedtime for most people.
Difficulty falling asleep during this time is a sign of excess stress and worries from
the day.

Waking up between 3am and 5am is associated with the energy meridian that runs through
the lungs and the emotion of sadness.
To help yourself get back to sleep, try some slow, deep breathing and express faith in

So, I just turned twenty-four, which means that I'm in my mid-twenties now, no longer
in my early twenties - no, it's my mid-twenties.
I'm not really ready to be twenty-four. This kind of snuck up on me which I think is exactly
what age starts to do when you get older. I don't feel in any way like I'm twenty-four,
I don't even know what twenty-four means. It's a real adult age, twenty-four.
You're out of your early twenties, which I feel like are similar to the teen years in
that you have kind of an excuse to just really mess up and not know what you're doing, cause
you're just in your early twenties, you're still a baby, you're still really young. At
twenty-four, I'm no longer in university. I'm working full-time and I am surrounded
by other people who are working full-time, and quite a few of those people happen to
be married and happen to have children and happen to be in a phase of life that I'm certainly
not ready for - that I don't know if I'll ever be ready for.
As someone pointed out to me, twenty-four is twelve times two. Sometimes I still feel
like I'm twelve. I'm not ready to be twelve, twice, but I have lived twelve years twice.
I can remember being twelve so distinctly, it really doesn't feel like it was that long
ago - I mean I know that it was and I know that a lot has changed and I've obviously
grown up a lot, and my life is completely different, but when I was twelve I was watching
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I plan on watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer again soon, so it
- like, in some waysm how much has really changed? In twelve years, how much has really
changed?
Everything... and nothing at the same time.
I had a friend once with the same birthday as me, except she was five years older. We
went out together on my twentieth birthday and her twenty-fifth birthday, and I remember
her saying, "Oh, I wish I was turning twenty instead of twenty-five. I'm not comfortable
with turning twenty-five," and I didn't understand that at all because I was only turning twenty
[laughs], that's what I felt, I was like why - twenty-five's still so young. Why would
you worry about getting older when you're only turning twenty-five?
I get it now [laughs].
It's not, it's not necessarily like fear about your mortality or feeling like you're getting
old because, you know, at twenty-four, I'm still very young, but it's like recognizing
that I'm entering into a new phase. I'm no longer a teenager, I'm no longer in my early
twenties - I'm an adult, whether I like it or not, whether I'm ready to be or not, in
certain senses.
I'm leaving the phase of school and entering the phase of work. I'm no longer in the thinking
hypothetically about what I want from my life phase, I've entered into the like, I actually
need to start taking concrete actions in order to pursue what I want phase.
When I was in school, I could sort of think about the different things that I could do
after school and that went on for a really long time. I could make plans and I could
sort of prepare myself as much as possible for graduation. But now that I'm here, I'm
working and I hope to continue working, and I'm kind of like doing the thing that I was
thinking about and preparing for for so long, except it's not actually what I had in mind
[laughs],
but that doesn't really matter because what I've learned is that you can't always predict
the future and always plan for these things.
The decisions that I make now about the kind of lifestyle I want to be living five years
from now matter, they're not everything, but they matter. The kind of career path that
I choose to go down now matters. You know, what I chose to study in school obviously
mattered, the lifestyle that I chose five years ago obviously mattered and influences
where am now, but I feel like I had more leeway to try a certain things and like switch majors
and go travelling and... not really make any decisions. Whereas now, at the age of twenty-four,
I need to make the decisions, and I need to start going down the paths, and I need to
grow up in a way that I haven't really done before.
And maybe this age is different for everyone, maybe it's not really about the number, but
I think at some point in a person's life, they have to make decisions that are really
going to impact the whole rest of their life, like they have to be like, "Okay, now I need
to get on a path, now I need to get on a path, because I need to be working and I - I need
to be getting out there and - and figuring things out. You can only sort of sit and think
and plan for so long before you need to take action. And so maybe what I'm feeling as I
turn twenty-four is the shift from thinking and planning to taking action, and that sort
of what's scaring me about turning twenty-four. It's no longer about planning the future,
it's about acting in the now so that that future can maybe happen one day.
Does that make sense? This is all very abstract, these are all very abstract feelings about
aging and life and transitions, and all of that stuff.
