what is up people welcome back to Satori graphics and graphic design

content right here on YouTube so today I've got five tricks or tips when using

Adobe InDesign you're gonna find it really useful for your graphic design

projects this video is going to be a quick-fire tutorial where i've bang out

some tricks and tips for you guys in Adobe InDesign

the first day we'll be in design tip or trick in today's InDesign tutorial is a

pretty neat one if we take the rectangle tool from here we can not only add an

image or an object to just one box we can in fact spread that image across

multiple boxes in InDesign this is an awesome trick within InDesign for making

magazines and other print media look more interesting you can use the alt

option key to duplicate the boxes like so cross your document when ready select

every single box at once and then corrupt object paths and make compound

paths now all of these boxes are united in unison when you then go to place an

image or an object in the selection of boxes InDesign will show you across the

entire box selection now perfectly think this is really needs

the next trick in today's InDesign tutorial again is based around imagery

in boxes you might very well be bored with a rectangle box for your image and

your design to change that simply go up to object change shape and then choose

from a list of options here I think the triangle shape looks pretty

cool with this base image so the third InDesign tip or trick in today's

tutorial it's a keyboard shortcut for something relating to typography if you

press command option 7 on a Mac or ctrl alt 7 on a PC you can swap between

paragraph settings and type settings at the top here this means you do not have

to leave the text box and open up the paragraph window over and over when

working with typography in Adobe InDesign the prepared tool is a tool

across many Adobe programs however within Adobe InDesign there's an option

that allows you not only to sample one color from a design or an image but you

can sample various different colors that I within that image this is pretty handy

in Akko addition to Adobe InDesign the last Adobe InDesign tip or trick in

today's tutorial is pretty important

if you go up to window outputs and then pre-flight this box should appear this

is gonna help you know when you have an error whilst working within Adobe

InDesign so for example you might have an image that's not linked to your

document you can check the on button in the top left corner to make sure this

function is working whilst you work in Adobe InDesign that was today's InDesign

Dollarama Plants Vs Zombies Knex: Toys for Geeks - Duration: 4:30.

Hey everybody, MTK here with RB and so today we're going to be doing a fast

build and kind of like a quick draw competition.

So I was at the dollar store and I found these and I got them one cuz they're

only four dollars each and also we both like playing Plants vs. Zombies Garden

Warfare 2. It's a really fun game in our opinion. So I thought it'd be a lot of

fun to do for the channel and just to play around with it. So part one of the

competition, we're gonna do a fast build. Hers is 80 pieces, the boat blast.

Mine is 84, the crazy target set up. And so we're just gonna see who can finish first.

[fast music]

We just finished doing the build and now we are on to the second competition to

see who can knock down both of the gnomes on the other ... I came first in

the building competition. I'm the world's grandest! Anyways!

Oh, accuracy.

It fell out of the barrel. I didn't even touch it. It was beautiful. may take longer than the bill with the

Ah! Oh you got one .. [laugh]

Ah damn, this is going to be hard.

[laugh]

This competition may take longer than the build.

Oh. That's counts. A winning attitude

Ow! also a pea in my face.

Nothing's loaded.

[laugh] Oh, it popped out.

How was the build? the LEGO pieces ripped the cardboard. It's not Lego.

The build was fun but very hard because it... the instructions weren't that easy to

understand. Cuz it just showed everything in place and you had to see what was new

to the build. Here I put it on an angle. It looked like it was in the center one. So

I put it there originally but then that's where this bar went. The battle

was really hard because the weapons are extremely hard to fire. I mean this one

isn't that one isn't that... well it is. Like all you have to do is pull this back while your body parts fall out.

If you found these at the dollar store, they're great fun just if you want to goof off

with like a friend. You can do this hospitals in the battle to declare them

the ultimate winner of greatness which is me. There are certain aspects that I

don't like about it. The cardboard when I put it on the connector

pieces, the pieces were too thick for the cardboard so it kind of ripped them.

So you may need some really small pieces of tape.

Sometimes the instructions were hard to follow. Building probably took longer

than playing mainly because the instructions were kind of confusing.

Paying we were just goofing off and shooting randomly. Most of my shots miss

but they knock them down. What was more fun out of the two things?

That depends.

Were either of them fun? Build them they said. It'll be fun they said.
