Waching daily Apr 24 2018

- Making videos is no joke.

Running your own business for that matter

is no joke either.

(beep)

Sometimes you have to do all the things,

even when you don't like all the things

or you'd rather be doing other things, right?

It can get super time-consuming,

and before you know it you're like,

"I didn't have gray hair when I started this.

(laughs)

But seriously, let me help you lighten your load

a little bit.

To share with you some awesome ways to repurpose

your content, freeing up some space in your schedule

by not having to reinvent every piece of content you share,

but only get a little crafty is my biz buddy,

soon to be your biz buddy, Ms. Stacey Harris

of Hit the Mic.

Since I'm away on maternity leave,

I've invited her over to share some bombs with you,

so let's go take a listen.

- Hey guys, and thanks to Holly for bringing me on.

I'm really excited to talk about repurposing content,

because here's the deal.

There's no reason for you to keep reinventing the wheel,

and the fastest way to get off the content creation

hamster wheel is to use it in more than one way.

So when you are working through Holly's planner,

you might notice that there are entire sections

on utilizing your content to promote it on social

and things like that.

What I want to talk about is I want to take it a step

further, and I want to talk about how can you

actually take a video you shoot and turn it into

not just other pieces of content for your site,

but other pieces of content for other sites,

and possibly most importantly, pieces of content

on social to drive traffic back to the original

piece of content on your site.

So let's say you're doing what I'm doing right now,

shooting a video.

Yay, we shot a video, that's amazing.

Hopefully you used the planner so it went super well

and you were on point and everything was fantastic.

What's next?

Well, obviously editing and publishing and all

of those things that are Holly's problem. (laughs)

But also promoting it, because here's what a lot of us

are doing.

We're creating content, and creating, and creating,

and creating, and creating, and creating, and creating,

and creating, and creating.

And then we're not actually telling anyone

or promoting it.

So what I do after I create a piece of content

is I break it into smaller pieces of content.

So let's say I'm doing a video like this,

as our example, and I'm sharing three tips.

Great.

One of those tips, I'm actually going to re-share

on Facebook Live with a link back to my site

where the full video resides.

But I'm also going to take a clip from that video

and share it on Instagram, and Twitter, and LinkedIn,

because yes, even on LinkedIn we can upload native video

now, meaning it autoplays in timeline and it appears

as part of LinkedIn, and it gets really great engagement

because it stands apart from all of the links

that you're seeing on LinkedIn, just back to sites

or text content.

It's really standing out.

So we've now taken that one video,

and we've repurposed content in the fact

that we shared it kind of differently,

we did a live video.

But what else can we do with it?

Well, we could take a photo and share a photo

that is a still from our video,

and share it on Instagram, and Twitter,

and Facebook, and LinkedIn, and all of those places.

We can also actually pull the audio out of the video

and create a podcast, maybe share it on SoundCloud,

maybe create a .wav graphic for Instagram

using just the audio.

Now we can also pull the text and have the text

transcribed from that audio or the video,

and now we've created a blog post,

maybe for our site, maybe for someone else's.

This is honestly how I create guest content.

I don't create any new guest content

unless it's really, really a high value for me

with that audience.

I would say, in probably nine out of 10 cases,

we're pulling transcripts from video,

or from the podcast, and we're repurposing them.

We're restructuring them into blog content,

something that's a little more readable

than maybe a straight transcript is,

and we're submitting that into sites like

industry sites, and niche sites that my ideal clients

are reading.

Whatever makes sense for you.

Maybe you are a health coach, and there is an industry

leader website.

It's going to be a really great place

for you to submit content.

This is also something we do in LinkedIn Publisher.

Now LinkedIn does not get nearly enough credit.

It's a super valuable tool when utilized strategically,

because you can get a huge ROI on your time,

meaning you can get a lot of return for a lot less time

than maybe you're spending on Instagram Stories

or Facebook Lives.

It's true.

It's crazy.

So I will take a transcript, create a blog post,

and I actually usually imbed the video,

if I do a video.

If I don't do a video, what I will do is I will just

have a link back to the podcast,

or I will just let it exist on LinkedIn

as a blog post.

It's a great opportunity to, again,

share your message in a new way

without reinventing the wheel.

So think about this as you're putting together

your content plan, especially as you're utilizing

the business cinema planner.

Thinking about your script, thinking about your storyboards,

thinking about your video ideas and the concept of,

"How am I going to be repurposing this?"

I have actually been doing this as I script videos.

I'll mark out, "This is what I'm going to share

"on Facebook Live, this is an audio clip

"I want to pull out for Instagram,

"this is something I want to share on Instagram Stories

"to help drive traffic to the video on the website."

Look at what it is you are creating as you're creating it,

and figure out how to repurpose it.

But also, don't forget all that content maybe you

already created.

Be sure to take a step back and look at what you can do

with all the content that already exists,

because again there is value there.

Even if you've shared it lots and lots of times,

maybe find a new way to share it.

Again, maybe do a Facebook Live talking about it.

Share a clip of it.

Share an audio.

Whatever it is that works for you.

But remember, repurposing is where we really suck

all the value and return out of our time investment

when we create content.

Don't just create it once and share it once.

Be creating it and finding dozens of ways

to share it and repurpose it.

And if this all sounds really overwhelming to you,

there are teams that can help you.

I have a team that helps me with this.

I have a VA who specializes in, you guessed it,

helping their clients repurpose content.

They do all of this stuff for me.

It doesn't have to be you.

But the strategy and the system has to be figured out first.

Alright?

If you have any questions, you can check me out

- What I would love you to do is subscribe

to my channel, which will be in a link below,

and of course make sure to subscribe to Holly's channel.

And then leave a comment for us.

Let me know one way you're going to start repurposing

every single piece of your content.

What is the one thing you're going to do

going forward?

For me, the one think I always do is a Facebook Live.

We'll do a Facebook Live talking about one point

from a podcast or a video and use that to drive traffic

back to the original piece of content that lives

on my website.

That's one thing we always do.

So figure out what that one thing is for you.

Alright?

I will see you very, very, very soon over at

thestaceyharris.com.

Have a great day.

- If you liked this video, make sure to like it

and share it up, because you know somebody else

might like it, too.

And remember, you're someone's reason to smile,

so don't give up.

Job Search Strategy - Duration: 10:53.

Hi, everyone.

Hey, did you know that only 33% of employees are actually engaged in the work they do?

My name is Bill Benoist.

I'm a certified professional career coach, and in today's video, I'm going to share with

you a way to identify and discover companies that will actually fuel your passion rather

than sapping it.

And if you are in a career transition, make sure that you stay to the end of this video,

as I do have a free download, the top five interview questions that any hiring manager

wants to know about you.

LinkedIn has just over 13 million companies represented in its database, but of those

13 million companies, which by the way, are worldwide, they make up only 150 different

industries.

In other words, all 13 million companies out there, they're going fall into one of these

150 industries.

And by the way, this list of industries, I do have in the notes section below.

It's a free download.

So one of the first things that you want to do for discovering companies that you believe

would not only be a great fit for you but that would absolutely fuel your passion rather

than zapping it.

It's to eliminate those Sunday night blues, is to look at what industries do you feel

that you would be a great fit for.

So as we go through this, for the purpose of this video, let's go ahead and pick one,

maybe as we go through here.

Let's pick medical devices.

Medical devices is an industry.

So let's see what companies are out there in the medical device field, and we can use

two different programs for this, two different applications.

First, we're going to go ahead and use LinkedIn because these are actually LinkedIn industries,

so we'll go to LinkedIn directly.

So in LinkedIn, if we want to find out what are the companies out there that are in the

medical device industry, we just bring up our LinkedIn page, and in the search bar right

up here, we're going to type in medical devices.

Now, as we do this, and we put in medical devices, you notice that LinkedIn recognized

the industry and has came right up the bat, and it says I can look at medical devices

in jobs or in people.

In this case, I'm going to go ahead and look at jobs, not that I'm specifically looking

for a job at this time, but this is going to tell me all of the companies within the

medical device industry that are actually hiring.

Now, you see this comes up with a little over 57,000 because that is worldwide, 57,000 positions

worldwide that are in the medical device industry.

Now, I need to filter that down a little bit, so over here on the right, there is a field

for all filters.

I'm going to click on that, and I can filter this down.

I could actually add the city I'm in.

Let's say I could add Sunnyvale, California, or I could make it a little bit broader and

say just show me the San Francisco Bay area.

So I'm going to go ahead and click on San Francisco, California, and I'm going to click

on apply, and you notice that that 57,000 actually dropped down to 531.

Now, again, this is 531 companies that have positions out there for the medical ... positions

in the medical device industry.

So I can go through here and take a look at these companies and research them a little

bit more thoroughly to see if it's a company that I would actually be interested in pursuing.

So for example, if a sales manager for Via Systems.

I'm not interested in looking at a position at this time right now.

Right now, I'm only interested in looking to see if this is a company that I would be

very interested in working for because there's a whole nother video out there on developing

relationships within the companies.

But first, you have to target them.

What companies are you most interested in working for, and that's what this video is

all about.

So I can go ahead and click on Veeva Systems, and right here, it will tell a little bit

about the company.

Veeva Systems is a leader in cloud-based software for the global life science industry, committed

to innovation and product experience, customer success.

Veeva has more than 525 customers et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

I can stop here.

I can maybe even go to their website and learn a little bit more about them.

But Veeva may have been a company that I have never previously heard of before.

It's located in the Bay Area, in this case here, Pleasanton, which for me, is about a

25-minute drive up the freeway, and it would be in the opposite direction, so that's idea

actually for me.

I wouldn't be in traffic going up there or coming back.

As a matter of fact, my son-in-law works in Pleasanton.

So it's a way that I have identified one company out there that I might be interested in in

the medical device.

Now, let me show you another application.

I think this one is really cool.

It's called data.com.

So with data.com here.

It's exactly that, W-W-W dot D-A-T-A dot com.

Data.com is owned by Salesforce.

This is completely free to use, although you do have to register for it.

And let me show you how this works.

We'll use the same example of medical devices.

So with data.com, once you're on this page right here, you're going to go down here to

Data.com connect.

I'm going to go to connect, and now, I have a log-in or a sign-up.

If you've never been to this site before, you are going to have to register.

Again, it doesn't cost anything.

But once you've registered, you'll be at this landing page, and you're just going to click

on log-in.

So with me, I already have my password and username set up for this video, so I'm going

just go ahead and log in.

And now, I am on the main page of data.com.

When I'm here, it's very intuitive, a very intuitive page, but I'm just going to show

you.

I'm going immediately go over here to the link that says advanced, right over here in

the upper part of the window, and I'm going to click on advanced.

And I have the ability to do a find contact or a find company.

I'm going to select on find companies.

I'm going to go here, and I think one of the coolest things is I can do a search by zip

code or area code.

So in my case, I'm going to go ahead and select the area code.

I live in the 408 area code, but right next to me is the 650 area code, 415 for the San

Francisco Bay Area, where Pleasanton was, 20 minutes up the freeway.

That's a 925 area code.

But for me, I'm just doing it for the purposes of this video.

I'm going to use 408.

I do not need to put anything here under county or state because I've already filtered this

by the area code, but look down here.

Here's the industries again.

It's not going to have all of the industries that I had with LinkedIn, but this will give

you something that LinkedIn does not.

So let's say, for example, in healthcare right here.

You've got healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotech, but if I click on this and go down.

There's medical devices, what we were just talking about.

So I'm going to click on just medical devices.

I could actually even do a search based upon how big the company is, their revenue size,

some other things here I think is really cool, but I'm just to going to click on search.

And look at this.

I have 76 companies within the 408 area code that show me what the ... And these are companies.

Whether they're hiring or not.

See, back on LinkedIn, it was only the companies that were hiring.

This one actually gives me all the companies out there.

It may not be completely accurate because some of these companies may have since closed,

but for the most part, it's going to give you a really good sense of what the companies

are out there in that industry.

So it gives you the ability to, let's just take, for example, we'll take this one here,

Accel Biotech.

I'm going to click on this.

I want to know a little bit more about it.

It takes me directly to the web page.

I can go here.

I can read about the company, what they're all about.

There's a career section there, but this gives me a way to really start researching the companies

that are out there within the industries that are listed.

Using data.com, using LinkedIn, these are great resources for when it comes to creating

a list of target companies.

And what I want you to understand is this.

The best positions out there are not found through blindly sending out resumes, using

job boards like Indeed and Glassdoor and Dice and Monster and all the others.

No, it's done by a strategic approach.

It's the strategic approach of identifying and discovering companies that you believe

would be a great fit, and then the second part of it, developing the relationships within

those companies, and I'll cover that in another video.

But for now, I hope you found this informative and useful, and if so, make sure that you

subscribe to this channel, as I do upload new career strategies every Tuesday.

English Grammar Course | Introduction to Nouns #1 - Duration: 7:57.

Hello, everybody.

Welcome to this English course.

In today's video, I'm going to tell you about nouns.

Because in English, nouns are very important.

They are the basic element of a sentence.

So if you want to speak English,

you need to know about the different kinds of nouns.

And I'm going to try and teach you as well as I can.

Let's get started!

Ok, so let's start with concrete nouns.

Now in English, concrete nouns are people places or things,

including animals.

That you can see, that you can smell,

or taste, or hear, or touch.

So you can basically use your five senses.

Let me give you a few examples.

If we talk about people,

you could say, a man

or a teacher,

or me, Fanny.

Or Mr. Smith.

If we talk about places,

you could say,

a house, a school.

You could name a city like London.

Very nice city.

Or a beach.

And if you talk about things,

you could say a shoe,

you could say a marker,

you could talk about a dog

or food like a pizza.

These are concrete nouns....ok.

Now let's move on to abstract nouns.

So abstract nouns, unlike concrete nouns,

are ideas, concepts, emotions.

And you can't see an idea.

You can't smell a concept.

You can't taste an emotion.

Or hear it. Or touch it.

So they are nouns. They are things that exist, but

you cannot see them, or taste them.

You can't use your five sense.

To give you a few examples,

we could talk about love,

or time,

or religion,

rules.

These are all words that represent ideas, concepts... okay

They're abstract nouns in English.

Now, let's get into more detail about nouns.

Let's now see the difference between common nouns

and proper nouns which are very important in English.

So common nouns and proper nouns refer to people, places, things, ideas.

Let's see a few examples.

We could talk about people for example.

A woman.

That's a common noun.

But if we talk about a specific woman,

for example, me, Fanny.

That becomes a proper noun with a capital 'F'.

because, and you should know this,

proper nouns are always capitalized.

You could talk about places.

A city. That's a common noun.

But then you can name a specific city. Let's take a

great city, London, of course.

With a capital 'L'.

Remember proper nouns - always capitalized.

We can talk about things for example. An animal.

Let's take a dog. A dog.

That's a common noun.

But if we take a specific dog, like Snoopy - capital 'S',

that's the proper noun.

If we talk about things again, but for example, a car,

that's a common noun.

But if we name the brand, the specific brand of the car like Volvo,

that's a proper noun. And it takes a capital 'V'.

And finally, and we can say, a team - common noun.

But if we name a specific team, for example,

the best football team, Manchester United,

then that's a proper noun

and it's capitalized.

Now mind you,

'team', is a special word because it's called

a collective noun in English

because it refers to a group of people.

So collective nouns can be used as singular nouns or plural nouns.

But we will talk about this again later.

So now that we know a lot about nouns in English,

Let's practice finding nouns in a sentence.

Okay, first,

In my class at Oxford University, I have many friends.

My best friend is Jan.

I have a lot of love for her.

Jan has a cute dog.

Its name is Juju.

What are the nouns in these sentences?

If we take the first sentence,

In my class at Oxford University, I have many friends.

We have, class, and friends.

These are common nouns.

We also have a proper noun, Oxford University.

We know it's a proper noun because it's capitalized.

The second sentence is,

My best friend is Jen.

Now in this sentence,

the noun is, friend - common noun.

And there's also the word, Jen,

is also a noun but a proper noun. As you can see it's capitalized.

Then, I have a lot of love for her.

What noun can you see? Of course, 'love'.

Remember the abstract noun we talked about a few minutes ago.

And finally, Jan has a cute dog. Its name is Juju.

What nouns can we find?

We can see, 'Jen', again - proper noun.

'Dog' - common noun.

But also, 'name', and 'Juju'.

'Name's' a common noun.

'Juju' is the proper noun. It's capitalized.

As you probably know, I haven't mentioned, 'I', or 'her', or 'its'.

They are also nouns, but they are pronouns and

they're considered a different category in English.

We will talk about them in another video .

Great job guys!

Thank you for watching my video.

I hope you now have a better understanding of nouns in English.

Please keep practicing. Practice makes perfect.

I'm sure you will very soon be able to recognize nouns in a sentence.

Please make sure to watch my next video as I keep on talking about nouns.

See you.

Thank you for watching my video guys.

10 Learn English with My Dogs How's your memory? - Duration: 3:08.

in the wild, an elephant's memory is key to its survival and while it may be true

that an elephant never forgets, we humans certainly do. So how can we

avoid forgetting what we've learned when it comes to language learning? Why do we

forget things we have already learned? Well our memories are made up of

networks where the information is stored. So why can't you remember a word

expression or structure you have learned? We forget what we have learned when we

haven't formed enough connections in our memory network and when they are not

used enough. So what is the solution? It is really very simple. We have to use

what we have learned. So let's test ourselves to see if we have formed

enough connections in our memory network. In other words, what do you remember? Say

the answers aloud. Look at the first picture. This is of a dog working with

the Army in Afghanistan. Do you remember how to say to be working extremely hard?

That's right. It's to be working like a dog.

Now the next picture. How do you say that it's raining really heavily? We say

it's raining cats and dogs. And the next picture.

What could you call a person or a group that is better than others? You could

call them a top dog.

Let's look at the picture of the cat and dog fighting. What could you say about

people who are always fighting viciously? You could say that they fight like cat

and dog. And the next picture. What is the expression we use to say that something

has deteriorated? We say to go to the dogs. How would you describe someone who

shouts orders in an unfriendly way? We would say they bark orders. Click here to

2011-2014 F150 MPT SF4/X4 Power Flash Tuner 3.5L EcoBoost Review & Dyno - Duration: 7:00.

The MPT SF4/X4 Power Flash Tuner is available for any 2011 to '14 EcoBoost F-150 owner

who is looking for the fastest and easiest ways to pick up big power and at just a single

mod, even with a stock truck.

This will also allow you to get the most out of your current mods or the ones you plan

to install in the future.

This tuner comes with a bunch of great preloaded tunes for all different driving styles and

situations including 87 and 93 octane.

This tuner can also take custom tunes based on your truck's exact set up, which unlock

the full potential of the mods working in tandem to get you the most power.

It's also extremely useful for monitoring all of your engine vitals on the fly with

the easy to read LCD display.

You'll also be able to use it for reading and clearing trouble codes without needing

to leave the driveway.

Installing the tuner itself is extremely simple with the onscreen directions to walk you through

the install.

Expect a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter with a total time of about

15 minutes.

Let's take a look at what matters most, the gains you'll get right away with the preloaded

tune.

We established the Baseline Dyno run in our 3.5-Liter EcoBoost with stock wheels and 93

octane and it put down 265 horsepower and 345 foot-pounds of torque at the rear wheels.

We then uploaded the performance tune on the MPT SF4/X4.

We ran it again and it made 390 horsepower and 473 foot-pounds of torque at the wheels

for a good bump and power.

That's gains of 125 horsepower and 128 foot-pounds of torque to the rear wheels.

The bulk of those gains are down in the low to mid RPM range.

We saw peak car gains of 143 horsepower and 142 foot-pounds of torque.

MPT offers six different tunes to choose from with different octanes from 87 to 93 as well

as E30 and E85.

The tunes aren't just touching your engine by adding quicker throttle response and more

boost.

The performance tunes will also change transmissions standings that will make your high RPM shift

points faster and firmer, especially in its factory sports mode.

For the daily commute, there is a performance eco tune that will give you high RPM power

you want but with much better MPG rating in the lower rev range.

But you should see fuel increases even with the regular performance tunes as long as you're

not flooring it at every green light.

MPT also offers a post-sale data log review to see if any changes need to be made for

your build.

And the SF4/X4 also has a Wi-Fi included for future firmware updates available on all tunes.

Outside of tuning, the SF4/X4 has tons of features that make it super useful when mounted

in your truck.

The almost three-inch full-color display is easy to read day or night with the adaptive

brightness setting.

It can also be set to either portrait or landscape position for different mounting points.

You can leave it plugged in all day with its smart power management setting that won't

drain your battery when the ignition is turned off.

When you start your F-150 the SF4 can be set to jump right to your specified layout of

two to eight gauges that will display important information like boost pressure, coolant temp,

intake temp, air to fuel ratio, and more all live and can be used data log for later use.

With everything this tuner offers, just south of 500 bucks is a great value for the custom

tunes and lifetime diagnostic usage and data logging.

This is an investment that you could pay for itself with a few years of use.

You could save a few bucks by going with just a straight hand tune but you'll be missing

out on getting a tune profile that's truly optimized for your truck based on how it's

running, reviewed by tuning professionals like guys in MPT.

This is a super easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter and it should take

you less than 15 minutes with no tools required.

Your first step is you gonna connect the HDMI plug to the top of your SCT tuner like so.

And then the other end is for the OBD tubes which is located right underneath your steering

column.

Take your connector to your OBD tube port, right underneath your steering wheel.

When you plug in your tuner to your OBD tube port, it will flash up and then our first step

is gonna be to program the vehicle.

Our first message is letting us know this is for street use only.

Not legal in California.

So right now, we have to turn the vehicle's ignition key to on, but do not start the truck.

Now, that it's on, press continue.

So we have our 3.5-Liter EcoBoost F-150.

So now, we're on our program vehicle menu and this menu is gonna give us a bunch of

options to kind of preprogram our tune.

Our first option is gonna be fuel octane.

So we're gonna bump ours from 87 to a 93 octane tune.

You can do...if you have an aftermarket exhaust, we're gonna leave that stock. Intake box. Stock.

Axle ratio, tire, you could do a speed limiter, rev limiter, and then you can also

do wide open shifts.

Once everything is the way you want it, go down to approve, hit approve.

It's gonna ask if it's special options are available and this is for TPMS settings, we're

just gonna go to no.

So right now, we're on our overview screen.

We have our vehicle, a few options as well as any special settings.

We're gonna continue, then turn the key off, turn the key on.

With download complete, and your tuner is installed in your truck, and that's gonna

wrap up my review and install of the SCT's SF4/X4 Power Flash Turner with a performance

tune.

You could check this out and more at Americantrucks.com

Watch Your Mind When It Fights with What Is - 2018 Eckhart Tolle - Duration: 10:12.

now this is very important that we are coming to the core of the transition

from the old conditioned state to what we could call the new consciousness that

is already there even at this moment when you observe and recognize your own

mind patterns that recognition that realization the observing presence in

you is not part of the old conditioning this is why it can feel so liberating

even to be sitting here and to be hearing something that one would

otherwise say well that sounds like bad news but you even in one sense it is but

when you see a deeply conditioned pan in yourself you have already stepped out

because the seeing is the emerging of something new a deeper consciousness

that sees that witnesses an old conditioned movement in yourself so when

you sit there and just to take a simple example the traffic jam as is in most

people's experience there are many worse situations of course but the traffic jam

can be pretty bad for the ego itself too to see the moment you are complaining

internally to watch that mind movement and then saying oh I'm fighting what is

and you can see also the very same moment you see the futility of being

internally not aligned with now out of alignment internally with now and now

the mind will say yes but I'm not nothing is ever going to change if I

accept everything this is a silly doctrine

I heard a mine somewhere saying that and I'm not going to listen to this for one

more minute the mind will try to tell you that you will become ineffective

when you internally become aligned with what is you will become mind says

totally passive nothing you're never going to do anything again

because if this moment is fine what are you going to do and the worst thing the

mind will tell you is that you will never going to get out of this moment if

you accept it this grateful moment here you'll be stuck in it forever one of my

favorite films is Groundhog Day where one man is stuck in the same day forced

to relive it again enter Kain and he's the one of the most unaccepting people

you can imagine but gradually having to repeat the same suffering again the same

day he wakes up into the same day again and again gradually he just can't resist

anymore this he commits suicide he wakes up again the same day and finally he

goes with it he lets go of inner resistance and he goes with it and he

suddenly he does good things on that day he suddenly he helps people suddenly he

becomes a power for good because internally he's aligned with more days

he transforms his entire the world around him the town where he stuck it he

hated so much as he begins to exactly transforms

it's and suddenly he is out of it but he doesn't get out until he says yes to it

completely and this is a universal lesson it's very deep true

transformation change cannot come into your life unless it's the basis the

absolute foundation for true transformation true transformation can

only be a transformation of consciousness inside you that otherwise

it cannot be true you can achieve all kinds of things you can through thought

power even yes you can through thought power you could create almost whatever

you wanted you can use affirmations you can use imagery you can use as long as

you are not totally unrealistic you could achieve almost anything

well there are limitations of course - if I probably if I wanted to become a

great pianist even in my age it would still be possible everybody would say

the experts would say no you can't yes it would be possible would it make me

happy no would it make to a deeper sense of me of self no because there will

always be others who are better and even if I'm the greatest the time will come

when I'm not the greatest anymore and then my sense of self worth suffer

so becoming great at playing the piano makes me happy and fulfilled for a while

and then the same thing does the opposite so you can achieve things

through applied thought this is not what our meeting is about so I'm going only

going to talk about it for three minutes if you think and feel that you already

have it and also apply yourself in practical matters do you actually take

action towards it also it's not enough to exert yourself in a room and think

you're going to win the marathon in the next Olympic Games it'd never take any

external action or do something that is totally out beyond the limitations of

your physical vehicle I could not become heavyweight champion in boxing no matter

how much visualization I do and even if I succeed it of course it wouldn't make

me happy they are not happy but yes there is you can achieve many things but

it isn't it will not be true transformation and it will not fulfill

you this does not mean don't do it do it because it's a play you play with it you

can play with things in the world of form different you want a big house go

and get it and then you sit in the big house

and then thereafter a little satisfaction for a little while

especially if you invite people who houses are not as big so that gives some

food to ego for a while but that wears off - unless you have continues cocktail

parties and then you have to compete with others whose houses are even bigger

that's another problem but after while then you sit in the you made it you got

the big house and then you sit there and then it the fulfillment of self that you

derive from it begins to wear off and then the mind comes

and it with a beautiful view you may not even look at it anymore because you've

seen it so many times oh well you know there it is and now what and you wake up

in the middle of the night feeling fear where does that come from well I might

lose the house if the stock market crashes completely I may have to sell it

and then you sit in the big house and it's not fulfilling anymore and then the

mind might say it's not big enough that's why so you try and get a bigger

one oh it says yes but the car is not

doesn't go in it you need to better or the wife doesn't really fit anymore with

the house I now need a trophy wife to go with the house and then you can imagine

what kind of relationship that's going to be that is entirely ego based you

want her to add to you her use or beauty as an image to be admired with her by

others and she wants something else from you whatever it may be probably the

house

you

Shipping from China to Amazon EXPLAINED!!!!! (EXW VS FOB VS DDP) - Duration: 4:07.

all right what's up guys welcome back to another video and in today's video we're

gonna go over the different shipping terms that you're gonna use to talk to

your suppliers and the different obligations and implications behind

these shipping terms right and so before we get into that I do want to say that I

did get a new microphone in my previous videos the microphone cause my voice to

sound a little bit robotic so I did get a new one I didn't fully resolve that I

know that might have been a little bit annoying but thank you for being with me

so the main shipping terms we're gonna go over today are gonna be e xw f OB and

DDP right and then I'm also gonna go into some of the differences between

Express air and sea shipping without further ado what do these shipping terms

mean right so the shipping terms are gonna describe the obligation and the

responsibilities of the shipping for your product right so your your

manufacturers obviously of obligated to manufacture and create your product

right but how it gets from China to the US there's a few different variables

that you can actually explore right and so if W stands for X works and the

obligation of the shipping in this regards is gonna pretty much say that

the responsibility of the shipping fully lies on the buyer so you know in the

simplest terms right your manufacturers gonna create the product and manufacture

the product and leave it at its front door and you're responsible for getting

it from their front door to the US or to the Amazon warehouse in this case right

and so this is something that you might want to explore down the road but if

your spread is starting off I really highly recommend staying away from that

because it makes it a little bit more complicated than it has to be especially

if you're just starting off right the next one is gonna be F OB and this

stands for free on board or Freight on board and so what f OB means is pretty

much the buyer and the seller the manufacturer are gonna share the

responsibility of the shipment right and so it's it's almost like a 50/50

responsibility so they're responsible to getting it to the ship to the port into

the ship of your choosing and you're responsible from getting it you know

from the port in the u.s. to the Amazon warehouse in this case I would highly

recommend to kind of stay away from this - especially if you're first starting

off your first shipment I I personally

always do DDP and then I always figure out the details later to make it more

efficient and more cost-effective so that's just my my input and that brings

me to the next form of shipment responsibilities and that's going to be

DDP and DDP stands for delivered Duty page and this says that from the

manufacturer all the way to the Amazon warehouse the responsibility fully lies

on the manufacturer right and so they're gonna deliver it you don't have to worry

about a thing and it's completely their responsibility

up until it reaches the Amazon warehouse where it's obviously then your inventory

so they're gonna be the three main ones there are a few other ones but you know

they get a little bit more complicated there are something called freight

forwarders that you can look into and if you do look into that I highly recommend

looking into one in China because the ones in the US or based in the US are

gonna be a little bit more expensive but that's a separate topic for a different

video so now let's get into the different forms of shipment so there's

gonna be expressed air and sea shipping and honestly the difference is gonna be

time right so as fresh shipment it's gonna take two to seven days air is

gonna take between five and ten and then see you can take anywhere from 10 up to

30 days and so what I always like to do for my first shipment is I always like

to go Express and then when i reorganize or or see depending on how much I have

left in inventory and how much I have to invest into this product the other thing

too is you can get very very creative so let's say your restocking of you know a

thousand units you don't have to get them all sea or all air you can ask your

supplier to do 250 by Express 750 by sea you know just enough to get you by and

to have the full restock from from the sea shipping so again very very simple

video if you guys enjoy the video please give it a thumbs up don't forget to

subscribe and I'll see you guys in the next one

You too can paint! How to Paint a Beach Sunset. - Duration: 9:27.

hello my name is Sarah Good and in this video I'm gonna show you how to turn

this into a beach sunset using acrylic paints

before I started I went ahead and coated my canvas with several layers of excess

paint that I had lying around. I'm actually using a very similar mixture

for the top of my horizon here on my skyline. What I've done is I've put

together Cerulean blue, Naples yellow and white. I'm using it in different amounts

so you notice that on the top I put a little bit more blue and now toward the

horizon line I'm actually putting a little bit more Naples which has like an

orangish kind of a tent to it.

Now fast-forwarding a bit I added in a little bit of cadmium red deep with

Naples yellow along the horizon and give kind of an orange feel to it.

We're gonna bring in a little bit of purple that is cobalt blue and cadmium

red deep and white. Adding a little bit of medium and cadmium yellow light. I think

I had established my waterline my horizon here on the water side so I'm

using cobalt blue and white splash that color around. Straight

lines are not always easy to do so if you need to, use a ruler or a piece of

painter's tape. I'm gonna go ahead and identify where my waves are gonna be so

I'm putting down my first wave on the bottom here. So by putting in this wave

I've gone ahead and established three very important things so the composition

early on; how much sky I have, how much water I have and how much Beach I have.

The waves closest to us are going to be large the waves in the middle are

going to be moderate and the ways farther away from us they're gonna be

small so you'll see I'm kind of working that angle as well. And again the color

palette I'm using is ultramarine blue burnt sienna cobalt and white.

I'm using a thin amount of paint on this but I'm coming in at an angle and just

trying to get the size later on I'll get a little more specific

but really at this point I'm looking for the size the shape the orientation.

By starting thin I'm actually giving myself some flexibility so I can cover it up

easily if I decide that I want to make any edits or change anything.

Every once in a while I'm going to come back and kind of strengthen up some of these

lines here I'll get a little bit stronger as I move forward in the painting.

But of course it's early on and we're really trying to establish

locations of things so I'm just roughing new stuff in letting it get scrubby.

I always like the idea that we are not looking for it to be perfect,

we're just trying to move toward improvement. You want to be careful not

to get stuck in one spot for too long so I'm gonna revisit this sky. I'm playing

around with medium and cadmium yellow the cadmium orange also in here. Using a lot of medium.

While I have those

colors I'm going to go ahead and put them down underneath there so that

there's some reflection. Move the color around while you have it. I'm gonna work

on my sand as well, so I'm using some cobalt blue and some burnt umber and

white. Then we use different amounts so often you'll see that it's warmer or

colder. The reason I went with cobalt blue and burnt umber and white for this

mixture it's because it gives me kind of a greenish tint between the cobalt in

the burnt umber. So we're not just dealing with one version of black or

version of gray. Getting darker as I build more confidence of the locations of these

things and revisit them. I think in an acrylic painting you end up with lot of

layers which is kind of fun. I don't look at it as a daunting task I actually like

it because I don't have to worry about things being so perfect on the first try

which is very unlikely especially for me.

So I'm gonna give myself a little bit of a pop color here so we're gonna mix

together some cobalt blue and white.

What's so cool about this and you'll notice how much it shows up on the

canvas is the polarity between this blue and the yellow tones that we had put in

earlier. So not to harp on warm and cold, but color theorists love talking about

warm and cold so let's go for it. So one of the things that we think about

whenever we're painting is warm colors which we associate with fire tones and

cold colors which we associate with ice and this really builds contrast between

the colors. We often think about contrast when we're looking at black and

white the contrast can actually be created using colors as well. These

are two things that we're constantly considering and that's why that blue

looks so beautiful against those yellows. These are some of those cool grays, they

give a little bit of froth on my wave here. Actually using the tip of an angle

brush but you can use around for this also.

Now for the fun part, to put in our sun.

A lot of people have a hard time with circles and I do too I totally get it

let's be smart about how we use our tools. I'm actually using a filbert brush

here and a number filbert's like a flat with rounded edges and so the filbert

gives me a nice round shape if I hit it from different angles it will assist me

in making this simple. Now while I have that nice light on my brush I'm gonna go

ahead and start splashing some of the reflections of the Sun on to the water.

So we're going to be working on that quite a bit

now in the latter parts of the painting here that we're kind of getting toward

the end you're gonna see me trying to balance between the lights and the darks.

As far as my values you're gonna see me trying to balance between my warms and

colds as far as my hue or my color and really allowing myself to enjoy the

highlights of the water the reflective qualities of the water. I'll be

dancing around a lot of yellows and oranges and whites pink's onto the area

below the Sun.

When I look at my wave I have to remember where my light is coming from

so we're catching a lot of the shadow side of this way because the sun's

behind it but we're still going to bring in a lot of light white edges and things

to the parts of the water that are splashing up. People often when they look

at waves splashing they go directly for white and it doesn't really give you

would like a leg to stand on, so to speak, those grays with bluish tones are going to

give me something so that when I put the white on there it pops.

Let's break our pallet down on this painting a little bit so we can take

note of the colors that we've been trying to focus on and identify them.

We have our cerulean and cobalt blue mixtures we have our Naples yellows and

yellow tones that we've been using we have the areas where we've been using

more cadmium Orange and cadmium red deep we have our pink tones that we've been

making using cadmium red deep and white and we have our smoky grays and blacks

that we've been creating primarily with the burnt sienna cobalt ultramarine

combinations.

Now if fuss with a little bit more details but we're at the end here so I'm

gonna go ahead and sign the work I want to thank you for watching I hope you

Dogs and Water - Important Things you Should Know - Duration: 3:05.

I'm the Doberman Guy and today I'm going to talk about water, how important it is,

and one problem that can affect big dogs like the Doberman, and even causing death…

But before we go… if this is your first time here and you want to learn and know more

about the Doberman, start now by subscribing and clicking the bell so you don't miss anything.

The question of how much water your dog should drink is far from a straightforward one.

Each dog is unique in metabolism and each dog's water intake will be different.

The best way to know how much your dog should drink is by observing him.

It's normal for dogs to drink after exercise, eating and sleeping.

They also will drink sporadically throughout the day, so get to know your dog's habits

when he is healthy.

Another great way to know if your dog is drinking enough water is by checking his urine.

If there is a strong odor to the urine, or it seems to be a dark yellow or orange color,

it could mean that your dog is dehydrated.

Similarly, if the urine is pink or red, it is an indication of blood in the urine

and you should get your dog to the vet immediately

as they could have an infection or stones in their bladder.

If you believe your dog is dehydrated, but he isn't interested in drinking water, you

should take him to the vet. When an animal is dehydrated for too long, it can cause

damage to the kidneys, as well as other internal organs. Better safe than sorry when it comes

to hydration and your dog's health.

When offering your dog water, one thing to keep in mind is the water's temperature.

While it is tempting to give your doberman ice cold water, as that is what we humans

enjoy, it's actually much healthier to let your dog have water that is room temperature.

When a warm dog ingests ice cold water their body must then use energy to warm up the water.

If it doesn't, it can cause your doberman to have a tummy ache or even throw up.

Another common cause of vomiting in dogs, is drinking too much water. If you have just

brought your dog in from a hot day or from a vigorous play, his first instinct will be

to drink a lot of water.

Unfortunately, if they have access to an unlimited supply they will often drink too much and

then proceed to puke it back up.

It can also cause a condition called bloat, and it can be fatal.

To prevent too much water intake, offer your dog several small bowls of water every 10

to 15 minutes, until they are cooled off and relaxed.

Once they have calmed down you can put their normal water bowl back down and let them have

access to water with no restrictions.

I hope you've found this video informative.

Remember that you should visit a vet every time you think something is wrong with your Doberman.

If you liked this video don't forget to give a thumbs up and consider subscribing

to the channel and activating the bell to receive update notifications.

Thanks for watching!
