Waching daily Apr 25 2018

Karrie: Hey guys, it's Karrie, and I'm here today with my daughter, Grace.

Grace: Hey.

Karrie: Today we're talking about freezer meals and gifting.

And stay tuned because we're gonna have a super fun time.

Karrie: Are you guys ready to get your geek on?

Seems like every other month, there's a new superhero movie coming out.

Grace: "Avengers Infinity Wars " is coming out.

And I am super excited.

Karrie: Me too.

Grace: I can't wait.

It's gonna be so good.

Grace: Well, everybody knows that every superhero comes to the rescue, right.

Ironman has a suit, Captain America has his shield.

Karrie: This is true.

This is true, you know.

But you know we have our own superpower.

We do.

It's true.

It's called Super Freezer Meals

Grace: of Power.

Karrie: So, in honor of the new Infinities movie coming out, I thought we'd have a little

bit of fun today.

Grace: And show you our super powers

Karrie+ Grace: IN ACTION

Karrie: Yes, it's true.

I'm a mom and a blogger.

Grace: And I'm a seventh grader.

Karrie: But what you don't know is that when people are in trouble, we're also

Avengers.

Karrie: Wait, wait, wait, no, no, no.

Wonder woman is not an Avenger.

Grace: But we did the spin, Mom.

We did the spin.

Karrie: No, no, no, no.

Let's try that again.

Yes.

Much better.

That's great.

Grace: Good.

Grace: Hey Black Widow.

Karrie: What's happening, Captain.

Grace: So, today what we're gonna talk about is freezer meals for gifting.

To do that, we're gonna be superheros today.

Basically we're gonna go and deliver freezer meals to some busy, busy people that could

really use it in their lives right now.

Grace: But before we get to cooking those freezer meals, first we're gonna share three

super tips for gifting.

Karrie: Super tip number one.

Grace: Give them disposable containers if at all possible.

Buckets are freezable and at the dollar store.

You can use paper plates.

These are little containers you can get at the cash and carry.

Foil pans or freezer safe bags.

Everyone knows they can toss them when they're done.

Karrie: Super tip number two.

Grace: Give really good instructions about the meal.

I like to use really cute labels when I'm delivering freezer meals for gifts.

I like to include the name of the recipe, all the directions, and I love to leave my

phone number just in case they have any questions.

Karrie: Super tip number three.

Karrie: Ask about food allergies and diet restrictions.

Just in case your having nuts in your soup or something like that.

You don't want to deal with food allergies for sure.

Karrie: Captain, you're allergic to peanuts.

Grace: Ah man.

... Karrie: Now on to the recipe cooking.

Grace: Ahhh.

Karrie: How dare you.

Karrie: The first thing we're gonna cook is three batches of my Hazelnut Wild rice Soup.

I wanted to triple batch it because that way we can split it up into thirds and deliver

to three people.

Karrie: Because this soup is a triple batch, we're gonna separate these meals into two

large ones for the bigger families that we're giving to, and one person has just two people

in their family, so we're gonna make it into two smaller containers.

Karrie: In the recipe, there is optional red pepper flakes, which do add quite a bit of

goodness to the soup.

Grace: These are hazel nuts for the soup, and they make it like so good, so we took

them out just in case they have allergies like I do I guess.

Well, they're optional, so we give one pack to each person.

Karrie: Now, these three freezer meals are done.

Super duper.

Grace: Super.

Super duper cooper awesome.

I win.

I win.

Karrie: Yeah.

Ahhh.

Grace: Oh.

Ah.

Karrie: Okay.

So for our next recipe, we're gonna to be making teriyaki chicken, and it's a triple

batch.

Here we go.

Karrie: For our last recipe, we're gonna be making tortellini pesto bake.

I'm making this one not a double batch.

Not a triple batch.

I'm making this a quad.

That's a four times, only because I'm a mom and I'm a super hero, and make a dinner for

tonight too.

Grace: It's like salad.

It's like tongs.

Karrie: It's cheese.

Grace: I know, but I was, yeah.

Okay, let's get started.

Karrie: Thanks for watching everybody.

We hope you loved making freezer meals with us today.

Make sure to go watch the Avenger's movie.

We're super excited.

Grace: Yes, I am.

Karrie: It's gonna be epic.

So, if you like this video, make sure and hit that thumbs up button below.

Grace: Yep.

And like and subscribe.

Karrie: Now, we're gonna go and deliver these meals right now.

Grace: Bye.

Karrie: Bye.

15 Signs You Might Be Born With Naturally Higher Frequency - Duration: 4:38.

15 Signs You Might Be Born With Naturally Higher Frequency

Everything in the universe vibrates at a certain frequency that gives it its unique existence,

visibility and tangibility.

The breakage of this frequency causes complicated object relationships with the universe to

crumble or change and to make it exist at a higher or lower level of existence than

before.

Humans have sought to pursue higher frequencies than their counterparts since the first yogis

sit under a tree to reflect on the meaning of a deeper life.

This higher plane, call it moksha or nirvana, is the same.

Now, there are tell-tale signs that give away if someone is cut out for this transition

process.

These signs, if they exist in a person, say that the said person is not cut out for the

earth-bound and mundane.

Instead, they might just meditate their way out of this murk to a higher plane of existence.

If you deal with two of them, there is a high chance you can increase your frequency if

you try very hard in meditation and yoga.

So, here are the 15 traits indicating that you might be born with naturally higher frequency.

#1 - You feel like a wanderer, searching for a tree to cling to in a storm.

You are constantly thirsting for a partner or a spouse or a strong family.

#2 - Despite your intelligence, you are never satisfied with the results you get.

You tend to think that you can always do better.

#3 - You, like Joan d'Arc, often find yourself hearing voices of other-worldly beings around

you.

#4 - You are emotionally fickle.

You find yourself oscillating between feelings and emotions.

#5 - Your moments of lucidity and absolute clarity don't last long, but they are decisive.

#6 - Your dreams are very clear.

They are like a vision that gives you both demons to fight and inspiration to keep fighting.

Sometimes they can be tiring and scary, and sometimes you even enjoy it.

#7 - You are very bound when you do things.

Like meeting the twin flames.

Whether it's family or romance, you tie up like there's no tomorrow.

However, when chopping your chord is just as cruel.

But when you love someone, you love it as a whole.

#8 - The time for you is a piece of cloth that you fold.

This is much more real and much more material.

Your perception of it is completely transparent and fast compared to the others.

#9 - You believe in your free will and predestination.

Larger things are planned for you, but at the same time, you need to make the right

choice with your work to achieve there.

#10 - Your gut has never failed you so far.

You are perceptive and your intuition is tuned on point.

You can read people's intentions from their body language.

Because your intuition has turned out to be right almost all the time, if not always,

you never fail to trust it and you always follow it and act on it.

#11 - People are naturally attracted to your personality like ants are to sugar.

People come to you for advice and help.

You have a deep influence on them and can manipulate them easily.

But you don't use that influence for achieving your ends selfishly, or at least most of the

time.

#12 - The wisdom and innate awareness people try to achieve through lifetimes of practice

and meditation has been yours since you were a child.

As a result, you often felt alienated and alone, detached from your friends and peers.

#13 - You are a naturally motivated person; someone who is positive and illuminated and

in general hopeful about existence.

The will to make a better world for yourself and your loved ones is deeply embedded in

you.

You are a happy and a very loving person.

#14 - You rarely fall sick.

Unlike others who have a tendency to catch colds and coughs, you are a naturally healthier

person.

You have a very strong immune system and you make sure it stays that way.

You take good care of yourself.

#15 - You suffer from a guilt complex (for instance, you constantly feel guilty about

something, or seek things out to feel guilty about).

Well, those are the 15 traits indicating that you might be born with naturally higher frequency.

So, really cool information isn't it?

Who was Fanny Blankers-Koen? - Everything You Need to Know about Dutch Athlete Fanny Blankers-Koen. - Duration: 1:40.

The Serch Engine Google honors Fanny Blankers-Koen on her 100th Birthday.

She was a Dutch athlete, best known for winning four gold medals at the 1948 Summer Olympics

in London.

She accomplished this as a 30-year-old mother of two, during a time when many disregarded

women's athletics.

Her background and performances earned her the nickname "the Flying Housewife".

She was the most successful athlete at the 1948 Summer Olympics.

Fanny Blankers-Koen was born on 26th April 1918 and died on 25th January 2004.

Having started competing in athletics in 1935, she took part in the 1936 Summer Olympics

a year later.

Although international competition was eliminated by World War II, Blankers-Koen set several

world records during that period, in events as diverse as the long jump, the high jump,

and sprint and hurdling events.

Apart from her four Olympic titles, she won five European titles and 58 Dutch championships,

and set or tied 12 world records – the last, pentathlon, in 1951 aged 33.

She retired from athletics in 1955, after which she became captain of the Dutch female

track and field team.

In 1999, she was voted "Female Athlete of the Century" by the International Association

of Athletics Federations (IAAF).

Her Olympic victories are credited with helping to eliminate the belief that age and motherhood

were a barrier to success in women's sport.

#CCUfamily - Gillian Ronayne - Duration: 3:20.

My name is Gillian Ronayne. I'm from Marlton, New Jersey and I'm a junior psychology major.

Marlton, New Jersey is a small little town and it's perfect

because it's about 15 minutes from Philly and about an hour and a half from

the Jersey Shore so it has the best of both worlds.

I'd probably describe Coastal Carolina as beautiful because it has all the palm

trees and the beautiful flowers and the green grass

My favorite moment at CCU has probably been accepting my bid to Tri Sigma.

It was really exciting to have one sister and then within an hour I gained 100

more sisters and it was just awesome to really become part of something bigger.

CCU has a positive impact on me because it really has just shown me how to grow

up and become my own person moving from New Jersey to South Carolina has really

made me flourish and become an adult.

My favorite thing to eat from here is probably the fried chicken we don't have anything like that really up North.

And it's awesome to be able to go on campus and actually like smell it throughout the whole entire campus

So Reading Buddies is a community service thing where we go to Myrtle Beach Elementary

and we actually get a mentee and you take them out of their

class for about an hour each week and you teach them how to read. So you pretty

much fine comb their reading abilities and it's really just awesome

to give back and like kind of be a part of something bigger.

So I'm going to Costa Rica in May and I'm studying abroad and I'm gonna be

minoring in Spanish so I'm really excited to perfect my Spanish and be

able to go on excursions like ziplining through the rainforest and go in

hot springs and stuff like that.

I'd probably define myself as confident because I think that's such an important

trait to have and it's something that I really like grew up with I think

it's awesome to have all this self-love and really just be who you are because

you're only you're only gonna ever be you.

I'd like to shout out to all my sisters in Tri Sigma and that's about it.

YOU are the bright point in someone's future. - Duration: 5:07.

That light shines every day at Brightpoint.

Brightpoint helps communities, families, and individuals

remove the causes and conditions of poverty.

Since its inception in 1965, thousands of people have received the help they need thanks

to all of you who have made it possible.

Maybe it's the satisfaction of helping others in need or maybe it's that you've been in

this position before.

Whatever your reason for being on this journey with Brightpoint - thank you.

YOU make our mission possible.

Brightpoint envisions a world without poverty in which all people have access to opportunities

and are treated with dignity.

Our vision has made Brightpoint no stranger to life-changing stories.

Lloyd and Juliette Boggs met in college and got married in 2007.

Four years later, they had twin sons, Desmond and Harrison.

When Desmond was just two years old, he had open heart surgery and spent six weeks in

an Indianapolis hospital.

When it came time for the boys to start preschool, Lloyd and Juliette weren't finding any options

they could afford.

They were in speech therapy and the improvement in their speech and just their social skills

- like everything - they just flourished.

They found their love of learning. Yeah, definitely. They learned to love learning.

I wouldn't even be in this position without Brightpoint.

I was going through a really difficult time, but when the boys started in the program

and we wanted to get more involved, and that really just - it boosted my self confidence and

I learned some important skills.

I learned decision making. I learned time management.

I got my self-confidence built up.

I decided to re-enter the job market - and I got a really good job.

Head Start is the opportunity for children ages three to five to get access to educational,

health, nutritional, and other developmental social services.

With facilities in Allen, Noble, and Whitley Counties, the program provides part-day and

full-day classes, the opportunity for parents to be involved, and free high-quality preschool.

Brightpoint's Head Start helps children develop the skills for success.

I mean the boys - they just wouldn't be who they are without Brightpoint.

When Brent first visited Brightpoint, the plant where he had worked at for over 40 years

had just closed and he had lost his job, and with it, his insurance.

He was 60 years old and didn't have many options for employment.

He found another job, but the insurance wouldn't kick in for another 90 days and he didn't

think he could make it that long.

Bridgette Deyo, Family Support Worker: When I first met Brent, he had come in only to apply for insurance.

He had found out about Brightpoint and that we assisted with health insurance from a friend.

Initially, he was denied. But upon his next visit when he came in to return some documents,

I noticed that his coloring seemed different

and he just did not seem to be feeling very well.

And that is when he shared with me that he thought his cancer was back.

I had encouraged him when he came in to say he thought his cancer was back, to seek medical

help immediately and to apply in the hospital for "presumptive eligibility" - presuming

that you are eligible for this health coverage.

His cancer, in fact, was back and he needed surgery immediately to remove the cancer.

He wanted to make sure that his wife was taken care of

and was really worried about the medical costs.

I just wanted him to make sure he knew that I was in his corner fighting for him and trying

to take that burden off of him so that he could focus on his health.

We did get him approved.

The coverage actually went back to when he applied, so those medical costs were covered.

At his lowest point, Brent felt like he didn't have anything left to give.

Through Covering Kids and Families of Brightpoint, he got health insurance and got his life back.

Bridgette said when she saw Brent after he got well, he looked like a different person.

I did a parade through Brightpoint with Head Start, and I was walking in the parade and

I saw Brent.

And he was sitting on the curb by his house and he saw me and

he stood up and came towards me and it was just such a great feeling to know that - he made it.

YOU are making these bright points happen!

Thank you for creating brighter futures with us.
