Speaker 1: You do these five things, and you're just gonna watch your photos go from trash

to just beautiful, succulent magic.

Speaker 1: Before I begin, if you could just click that Subscribe button, and the little

bell next to it to be notified each time I release video magic like this one.

Let's get to it!

Five tips to up your photo game.

Speaker 1: Number one: framing!

Literally only takes a couple extra seconds, and it can be the difference between a photo

like this, and that same photo, looking like this.

Now, you don't have to frame any specific way.

You can frame direct center.

You can frame in thirds.

You can frame kinda down at the bottom.

The important thing is that you, in general, have a purpose behind your framing and you're

giving framing thought.

Speaker 1: Tip number two: be different!

You want your photos to look like everyone else's photos?

You want them to look perfect and exactly the same?

Good.

Get ready to never be noticed.

Speaker 1: If you want a photo that is noticed and instantly recognizable, do something different.

For example, if you're shooting portrait photography of a couple, maybe try, instead of doing the

classic perfect we're-kissing, making out shot, you do something a little bit different

like something like this.

It's fun, it's interesting, and it is different.

And because it's different, it's striking.

Speaker 1: Tip number three: lighting.

Lighting is absolutely one of the most killer factors when it comes to making great photos.

It could be the difference between having a trash photo and having an absolutely stunning,

beautiful, magical photo.

Are you shooting in direct sunlight?

Well, odds are, your subject's gonna look like an albino gypsy in the desert who's on

fire.

And if that's what you're aiming for, then, I mean, I guess, go for it, 'cause that could

be cool.

Speaker 1: But if that's not what you're aiming for, try putting them in the shade.

You're gonna get a lot better photo because the light is gonna be a lot softer and a lot

gentler to the eye.

Speaker 1: There are a multitude of ways to light a photo.

You can light from direct front, you can light from the side like I'm being lit currently

right now, off front side.

You can light from the back, from up top, I mean, the light really could be anywhere.

The important thing is, does it look good?

'Cause it's gonna add a lot of character and a lot of mood to your photo.

Speaker 1: It's actually probably the most defining factor when it comes to the mood

of your photo.

So, pay attention to it, and if you don't like the way your photo's looking, you need

to change where the light's at.

Speaker 1: Tip number four: colors.

Now, I'm not talking about the colors you edit with or the colors you grade with.

I'm talking about the colors that are actually in your photo.

Throw the wrong colors in your photo, by them just being there, and you're gonna get absolutely

just this ugly image, 'cause some colors just don't go together.

But if you throw the right colors into the image, you're gonna get something that's really

striking and really stands out.

Speaker 1: So, being mindful of the colors in the images you're taking, is really important.

Speaker 1: Tip number five: angles.

Angles can absolutely switch up your photo game.

The way you see the world is eye level.

Taking any photos outside of eye level, can be very interesting to the eye.

That can mean shooting from way down low, or that could be shooting from up high.

There's a lot of different angles that you don't normally see day to day, because we

don't normally crawl around on the ground and look at people, or float in the air.

Speaker 1: Switching up your angle game can take your images and make them look larger

than life.

Speaker 1: All right, guys!

There you go!

How Depression Hurts - Duration: 3:54.

What do insomnia, sadness,

and physical pain with no apparent explanation have in common?

They can all be signs of depression.

Depression is a common mood disorder,

with over 300 million people living with it worldwide.

And depression is much more than simple unhappiness.

It hurts.

Not just emotionally, but physically too.

It's normal to be sad sometimes.

It happens to all of us.

But when sadness becomes so overwhelming

that it makes you lose interest and enjoyment in life,

it can grow into a full-scale depression.

Depression isn't limited to your emotional state.

It comes with a set of physical symptoms,

which affect anything from your heart to your immune system.

Depression hurts you.

But how is physical pain related to your emotions?

People with depression often overlook their physical symptoms.

But the pain that comes with depression isn't a result of denying your emotional disorder

and converting it into a bodily one.

That pain is real.

This mood disorder comes with fatigue.

It wipes out your energy and doesn't let you restore it through a good night sleep.

Because chances are, you're having trouble falling asleep.

Insomnia weakens your immune system,

making existing illnesses worse, or even causing new ones.

If you're depressed, you can lose your appetite completely,

or start overeating, causing your weight to fluctuate.

If left untreated, excessive eating can lead to obesity-related illnesses like diabetes.

Malnutrition, on the other hand,

can cause cramps, stomach aches and constipation.

Under this kind of long-term stress,

your body releases more of the stress hormone called cortisol.

Cortisol speeds up your heart rate,

and makes your blood vessels shrink.

Narrow blood vessels can give you chest pain,

and cause a whole range of cardiovascular diseases,

including stroke and heart attack.

Cortisol is also known for blocking calcium absorption,

which, in turn, decreases the growth of your bone cells.

In short, it changes your bone mass and can lead to osteoporosis.

Apart from elevated levels of cortisol,

depression triggers a decrease in neurotransmitters like dopamine.

With a lack of these neurotransmitters in your brain,

your body struggles to regulate biological processes like appetite, sleep and sex drive.

Depression also makes you very sensitive to pain.

You may have seen videos of people showcasing sudden superpowers

in some stressful situations.

But that's not the kind of long-term stress you get with depression.

Depression makes you notice even minor pains.

Pains that you would usually ignore.

On top of that, mental pain and physical pain

activate some of the same regions of the brain.

It seems as though your brain can mistake your emotional pain

for physical distress.

So if you struggle with migraines or back pain,

or any other unexplained body aches while feeling depressed,

don't assume they're unrelated.

Symptoms of depression can last for weeks, months or even years.

The good news is, it's treatable.

But you can't just put yourself back together by yourself.

If you or someone you love are feeling blue, the first thing you should do is talk.

Talk to your family and talk to your doctor.

Find an appropriate treatment to ease the pain.

Add some exercise to your routine.

And keep discovering Your Amazing Body with us.

Did you know that anxiety can make you smarter?

Some studies have shown that people with anxiety (not depression)

tend to be more analytical.

In turn, people with exceptionally high IQs often have anxiety issues.

Aha! So I'm not just anxious, I'm also a genius!

Can You Sell Just Part of Your Annuity Payments? | Annuity.org - Duration: 0:54.

In a structured settlement, an annuity holder can sell the entire payment, the entire vehicle,

or they can sell a portion.

And what happens when you sell a portion is that you're selling a portion of future payments

in order to receive a lump sum right now.

And you must be prepared to receive that money at a discount.

So you're selling it at a discount because the person who's buying it, the factoring

company that is buying it, is going to be wanting to buy it for themselves as a profit.

Yes you can get a lump sum for a portion of your payments in the future, however you must

expect that you're going to be getting a reduced amount.

Longmont Chiropractor talks about running stretches to keep you moving - Duration: 4:37.

- Hi gang, my name is Dr. Jay Breitlow

with New Leaf Chiropractic and Family Wellness,

and we're getting a lot of people coming in

and saying that their getting back

into their running routine after a prolonged absence.

And so we're getting a lot of knee pain type stuff.

Where people want to know if their knee is messed up

or if something's going on.

There's a couple common stretches that I've given them

and you don't necessarily need any tools,

but if you've got a lacrosse ball and or a foam roller,

this will expedite the process.

So one of the most basic things if the hamstrings are tight,

so the hamstrings start at the... in the post here,

the very very top part of your thigh

and run all the way down just past the knee.

The best way that I can tell you to stretch that,

is just kick forward and back, just like this.

Now the nice thing about this particular stretch,

it's my favorite running stretch of all time.

It's because when you come forward,

and you see my knee's at, or my foot's at 90 degrees.

You should feel that stretching here.

Now, when you come back, your get the opportunity

to feel it on the front side, in the hip flexors.

And we'll talk a little bit

more about hip flexors in a moment.

But this is my all time favorite stretch.

You can even, when you bring it back,

you can almost try to kick your butt when you come back,

and get a little bit of quad in there.

So you get hamstrings, quads, and hip flexors

in one stretch, so that's my favorite one.

(phone rings)

There's variations of that, you can do a figure eight.

And you can get a little bit more stretchy.

You can do the figure in one direction and then the other.

So one part of the eight here

and one part of the eight back.

Little bit more of hip mobility with that one.

If there's any sort of pain with that,

the figure eight, you can just go ahead

and put the kabash on that.

That's why I like this one, it's very straightforward,

very easy, it's great to do before and after your run,

but especially before, and make sure you get both legs.

Okay, lacrosse ball, that's kinda the next version.

What you can do with the lacrosse ball

is you're basically just gonna be rubbing it down

on your IT Band, all the way down.

The best way to do this, and the most painful,

is to do it on the floor.

I said the most painful because you really get

great bang for your buck by just working on the floor.

IT Band, you can also do it with the foam roller.

And you're just coming in

and you're doing one of these numbers, like this.

Now, with that, you wanna make sure

that you're coming all the way up to about your hip,

and getting it all the way down past your knee.

There's a little bump right here called the fibula,

the very, very top part of the fibula,

you wanna make sure to get that foam roller

right across there also,

'cause that's where the IT Band actually exerts on.

So, all the way across.

Okay, next one.

For the knee itself, there's a little muscle right here

called Vastus Medialis Obliquus.

When this one gets tight, it often pulls hat kneecap tight.

So, you can certainly do your old school quad stretch,

no problem with that, but also get in

with that lacrosse ball, it's just a little area right here.

And you wanna do that on the floor,

I can help you to show you how to do that.

Can you see that, Hannah, can you zoom in on that?

And that doesn't feel super great

but again, you're getting into this area

right here, to stretch that out.

Couple of things that you can do.

Get a foam roller, we talked about the IT Band,

you can certainly take it across the front side

here, of your quad, you can take it across the back side

on the hamstring, and then also come across

a little bit more around a 45 for the glute.

Right, your piriformis is hanging out there.

That's a really good one also.

If you're not exhausted with running stretches yet,

I'll give you the last one, this is for your piriformis.

And you're just gonna get down on the floor,

just like this, and you're gonna come down.

It's commonly called Pigeon, I think,

with, Hannah's shaking her head yeah,

with the yoga routines, something like this,

and you wanna get down as far as you can.

You could also do it on your back.

Like that.

And I can tell you that I'm in need

of having that done right now, also.

I don't do too much with adductors, usually,

although you can still do adductors after you're done.

The center stretches should always be done after.

And you're just gonna bring your heels

toward your inner thigh and just push down.

We all did these in middle school,

just like he little butterfly things.

You just don't want to get too aggressive with this

before you run, 'cause you actually can tear some muscle.

And you wanna avoid that tearing of muscle.

Okay, these are not approved for everybody,

so if you have questions, comments, concerns,

consult with your doctors, consult me,

from your chiropractors, come talk to me in the office.

But I hope this was helpful.

Khloe Kardashian Posts Shocking Cryptic Message After Rumors Tristan Got 'Flirty' With Other Women - Duration: 2:51.

Khloe Kardashian sure is a fan of cryptic messages! The reality star posted a new vague quote after Tristan reportedly was 'flirty' with other women on Valentine's Day!    She's speaking out! Khloé Kardashian, 34, posted a new cryptic message on her Instagram account after Life & Style reported that her basketball player baby daddy Tristan Thompson, 27, "was being flirty, hitting up girls" on Valentine's Day! That same day, Khloé was home with their adorable 10-month-old daughter, True

Khloé captioned a new picture on her Instagram on Feb. 18 with Big Sean lyrics from his song "Memories" and said, "Are you willing to give up what you love, for who you love?" Interesting!    Khloé's cryptic comment, which she paired with a photo of her in gorgeous pink eyeshadow, lipstick, and draping her pajama shirt off her shoulders, could very well be a comment directed at Tristan

The two have been the subject of breakup rumors lately, especially after his Valentine's Day outing

As we previously reported, Tristan was spotted out and about on Valentine's Day this year without Khloé, amidst their split rumors

"Tristan arrived at Pineapple Hill Saloon And Grill in Sherman Oaks on the evening of Valentine's Day," a source at the restaurant EXCLUSIVELY revealed to HollywoodLife

"[He] was definitely without Khloe and didn't seem to be missing her. She was nowhere in sight

Coincidentally enough, she lives close by." View this post on Instagram "Are you willing to give up what you love, for who you love?" Big Sean A post shared by Khloé (@khloekardashian) on Feb 18, 2019 at 8:23am PST  Khloé had posted another cryptic message on Valentine's Day as well, which was directed about finding your "person

" If Khloé and Tristan are no longer together, it would make sense as to why they didn't spend the holiday of love together

Regardless, it looked like Khloé had a great time on Feb. 14, as she posted Instagram Stories of her precious daughter throughout the day! Romantic love definitely isn't the only thing that people can celebrate on Valentine's Day, and Khloé seemed to enjoy the day with or without Tristan's company! If they aren't together anymore, Khloé will surely be fine on her own!  HollywoodLife reached out to Khloé and Tristan's reps, but did not hear back in time for publication

Update Bludgeoned Bronx mom, 14 year old son must be cremated You cant see their faces New York D

A Bronx mom and her 14 year old son who were bludgeoned to death will be cremated because their faces are unrecognizable, a relative told the Daily News on Monday.

Theyre going to cremate the bodies because they were told that their faces were so brutally beaten, you cant see who they were. You cant see their faces, Ortizs cousin Haydee Leonardo told The News.

Marisol Ortiz, 51, and Alanche Delorbe were at 185th St. at Southern Blvd. in Belmont on Sunday by her 22 year old daughter, who also lives there. Alongside their bodies was an exercise weight that police believe was the murder weapon.

Both victims suffered head trauma. Police think Ortiz may have also been stabbed in the head, though an autopsy will determine how she died, sources said.

Leonardo was among many friends and relatives who suspect Ortizs boyfriend was the killer. A photo of the boyfriend, whose name could not be confirmed, was being shared on Facebook along with calls for his arrest.

This guy is a devil! said building super Daniel Oliveras of the boyfriend. Hes a bad character. A really bad guy.

Oliveras said he had become close with Ortiz. The supers son played basketball and baseball with Alanche. Ortiz paid the rent on time, worked hard and made sure her kids studied, he said.

Her boyfriend, however, was a creep, Oliveras said.

My kid is 12. Hes crying. He didnt want to sleep in his bedroom because he was scared because he doesnt know if the boyfriend is coming back, Oliveras said.

Her daughter found her. I tried to get her to relax but of course its her mother, her brother, she couldnt relax, he said.

Oliveras said a first responder had told him the killer had used a hammer.

The boyfriend was not in custody but police sources said detectives wanted to question him.

"Damn you a thousand times, damn you because you killed her, Emiluz Ortiz wrote on Facebook. .

Go in peace my aunt with my nephew. Wow, I feel so powerless why do things like this have to happen. My God. Mourning. What a great loss."

Marisol Ortizs brother, Addy Taveras, wrote on Facebook: This damn man killed my sister and nephew. Spread the photo so that the full weight of justice falls on this monster.

Leonardo said Oritzs daughter was distraught. Her dad, who lives in the Dominican Republic, wants her to leave the city.

Hes very devastated. He wants his youngest daughter to go to the Dominican Republic. Now hes scared that she could be a target, Leonardo said.

What Are the Pros and Cons of a Fixed Annuity? | Annuity.org - Duration: 0:43.

The pros and cons of a fixed annuity, the pro is that its interest rate is fixed.

So it's not going to go up or down.

So you have a pretty steady return, or reward.

The downside of that return or reward is that it doesn't go any higher.

So let's say if the market goes high or outperforms, you're not going to get the benefit of that.

But you do get the benefit of a stable, maybe smaller return in exchange for the stability

of getting something.

Why Do You Receive a Reduced Amount When Selling Your Annuity? - Duration: 0:45.

The reason that you'd be getting a reduced amount on your lump sum when you sold a portion

of your annuity to a factoring company is because they are looking to make a profit.

So they're looking to purchase those future payments at a discount rate, it's called a

"discount rate".

And that's because in the future there's going to be a certain inflation rate that does not

exist today.

So they are actually purchasing it at that rate which is why you have to sell it at a

discount.

I Was Stalked At The Airport | True Horror Story - Duration: 9:54.

I was living in Austin, TX at the time, but had flown out to Los Angeles for the weekend.

My friends put on a yearly music festival at a biker bar out around Joshua Tree... just

a relatively small thing (compared to Coachella and the like, that is) where most of the attendees

are also musicians, and everyone knows each other.

So we drink.

Heavily.

For three days or so.

By the end of it, you tend to need at least a week to recover.

So I was flying back to Texas, wildly hungover and miserable and completely drained.

I had a flight from LA to Dallas, then a quick hop to Austin from there.

I was seated by the window, on the left side where there are only two seats.

Seated in the aisle seat was a middle-aged woman, totally unremarkable, just your average

Texan mom.

We made polite small talk for a few minutes, but I really felt like doing nothing but curling

up in a ball against the wall and passing out, so shortly after takeoff I put in my

headphones and started watching a movie on my iPod until I fell asleep.

Throughout the movie, I thought I noticed her trying to look over my shoulder and watch

the movie too, and then mumbling something like "Oh great, just ignore me".

This happened several times, but I convinced myself I was just misreading her.

Eventually, I noticed her furiously scribbling writing in the margins of a beat up leather-bound

book.

I kept peeking over at it, seeing that the entire book was filled with unintelligible

chicken scratch in pretty much every bit of available space in the margins.

I also noticed it was an Alcoholics Anonymous book.

Whatever, I thought, just someone with some issues.

I eventually fell asleep.

Wake up.

Landing in Dallas.

People start getting off the plane.

Lady makes zero effort to start packing her things up or get ready to go.

She keeps sitting there scribbling in her book.

As I said, I am wildly hungover and kind of cranky and have no patience for anything that's

prolonging the time I have to spend on an airplane.

It gets to our row, and it's her turn to move into the aisle, and again she does not move

at all.

The rows behind us now start to leave.

I finally say "Hey, I've got a connection to catch, so I have to get moving here..."

gesturing towards the aisle and standing up.

She laughs, shakes her head, looks up at me and goes: "Oh, no.

No.

You aren't going anywhere."

I was so confused.

My mind was not at its sharpest that day.

I responded with: "I assure you, I AM going somewhere.

I'm getting off this plane.

Now."

She shook her head again and said: "But you promised me you'd never leave me".

Now other people who are leaving the plane are looking at this exchange, also baffled,

and I make eye contact with a few people giving that "can you believe this?" look, before

just edging/shoving my way out of the row saying "Nope.

Ha.

Nope.

I certainly never said that.

I'm leaving now."

As I edged past, she sighed and said "Well I guess I gotta go with you, then..." at which

point she stands up behind me, leaving her purse and book and all her belongings on the

plane, and follows me out.

All through the tunnel, and through the terminal, and up the escalator, this woman follows at

my heels, GRINNING like a madwoman the entire time.

I'm walking fast, but she is right on my heels.

I didn't say anything at first, and my mind kept saying "Why is this happening now.

Of all the days."

I just did NOT want to deal with whatever the hell breakdown this woman was having,

not with the way I was feeling.

I eventually get to the waiting area for the monorail to the next terminal where my connecting

flight is, and she sidles up riiiiight next to me, still grinning.

At this point I say: "Alright, seriously, why are you following me like this?"

Her response this time: "Because I love you and you promised me you would never be apart

from me."

I laughed nervously and looked around at the strangers also waiting for the train, making

sure I loudly announced "No, I did not promise that.

I have no idea who you are."

The train arrives, I get on, she obviously follows.

Now she's trying to hold my hand.

I'm moving around the monorail car texting the girl I was seeing at the time about what

is going on, and how I'm actually kind of terrified by this woman.

My phone was at 1%, though, and died before I could get a response.

I was ACTUALLY getting severely creeped out by this woman.

Her eyes were COMPLETELY vacant.

There was just nothing but emptiness in her stare.

She didn't blink.

Coupled with her unyielding grin, I was becoming sure it was only a matter of time before she

snapped and proceeded to stab me or shove me down an escalator or something.

She's still grabbing at my hand and following me as I shove around the tiny train car, and

I announce to the other strangers "I have NO idea who this woman is.

Seriously.

Can anyone get a hold of security or something??"

But everyone responded with SILENCE.

Nobody else wanted to deal with this either.

I felt like I was the crazy one now too, making random statements to a train full of strangers.

We FINALLY get to the other terminal.

I near-run to my gate, with her RIGHT behind me still, still saying things like "You can't

get away from me THIS time".

I get to the gate and spend a moment scanning the crowd.

I see a woman in what looked like police uniform waiting, and I say "Excuse me, are you security

or police or... see, this lady..." but she just shakes her head at me.

Everyone in the crowd just does their best to ignore us.

You would be AMAZED at how hard it is to find SECURITY OR POLICE in a damned AIRPORT these

days when you really need them.

Finally, I go up to the desk and shamelessly interrupt the agents standing there.

Doing my best to maintain composure, I put on a half smile and explain to them "Hi there.

So, this woman standing right next to me here...

I have NO idea who she is, and she has been following me for quite some time..."

Both the agents laugh.

The male one makes a comment like, "Oh, long vacation huh?

Hyuk hyuk.

Seriously, what can I help you with?"

The crazy lady laughed with them, rolling her eyes at my "absurd" assertion that I did

not know her.

I chuckled, shook my head, and said again "No...

I mean it.

I have no idea who this woman is."

They finally saw the desperation in my eyes and the seriousness of my tone, and their

smiles faded.

"Errr... can we see your boarding passes?"

I handed him mine.

She produced hers from her pocket as I continued explaining "She was on my previous flight.

She even left her purse on that plane, all the way in the other terminal..."

The agents speak with themselves off to the side for a moment, while I COMPLETELY ignore

the woman, just swatting away her hand as she tries to hold mine for the hundredth time.

The agents make a few quick, hushed calls, and then come back over and just say "Come

with me".

They immediately whisk me through the door and slam it on my pursuer.

I'm loaded onto the plane about 10min before any other passenger, as a stream of staff

filters by each one offering a new apology.

Eventually the rest of the passengers get on, and they all shoot me glances as they

pass my row.

Some of sympathy, some of sheer confusion.

The man who sits behind me asks me "Hey man, what WAS that!?"

I give him the brief version, and he tells me: "She had a complete and total meltdown

the second you got on the plane.

Screaming.

Tearing her hair out.

Pounding her feet.

They took her away in handcuffs!

You really didn't know her!?"

Nope.

I didn't.

To this day, I still wonder all the time what the HELL was going on with that woman.

I barely even have told this story to many of my friends, because it's just SO unbelievable.

I never received ANY other information about the incident, never learned who she was, or

why she thought I promised her ANYTHING, let alone eternal companionship and love.
