Knotting a bag with the friendship bracelet technique: closing the circle - Duration: 5:00.

In this video I'm going to show you how to close the two sections that you've made

with this design, and, well, that's what I'm going to show you.

Okay, we're going to close the circle for this design.

Before I do that, I want to explain to you why I asked you to do first some knotting on the sides,

because, you know, when you knot the threads around the border threads,

you can pull it very close to each other. But when you're going to knot the design,

you're going to see that you sometimes have some space between the knots and well,

that's important, that you do first some knotting before you close it,

because, well, you can imagine,

if you do just the threads around the border thread

and then pull it together right away, then you will not have enough space in the end.

So, well, I'm going to close this part. As you can see here in the design,

the yellow thread from the left has first to be knotted to the first thread in purple

on the right, so as you can see I already did the first row on each side,

but, as you can see, this thread here, is not knotted around anything,

and this first purple thread isn't either knotted around anything,

and you know, you have to bring it together as much as you can.

Of course, you will always have the issue of these border threads coming out here

so it will not get together as close as this one,

but, okay, it's going to look good.

First I'm going to show, you will also have a turn here.

but I've shown you that before how to do that, so we're going to do this one.

So, it's a purple knot,

and then bring it together,

and close the gap. Well, from this point on, it's just

exactly like you did all the other stuff, so, you know,

I can show you a lot more how to do that,

but, it's just like you did the other parts, so,

you know, that's all it takes, and as you can see,

I've used safety pins here to attach the work to my cushion,

and bring it together as close as you can, but this is just it.

Well, continue to work like you normally did, and then you can bring the sides together

like this, and you know, it's going to work out fine,

and, well, I'm going to finish this piece. As you can see it's quite some work,

because, - I will bring it forward -

you see how many threads I have, and you see,

I knotted all these things,

it's not tangling up this way, so you can do the knotting in a very nice way

no mess, just shifting over sometimes when you

work on a particular part of it and everything will just
