and in today's video I'm still going to be talking about

Work and Holiday Visa

but specifically

I wanted to talk about the things

that you need to bring from Indonesia to Australia

before your Working Holiday

Before I went to Australia for my Working Holiday

I actually really don't know what to bring,

I really don't know what to prepare,

I don't know what to expect

so I really really wish that

I have someone that could tell me about those things

So yeah,

In today's video I'm gonna be the one that tell you

what are the things that you need to bring

from Indonesia to Australia before your Working Holiday

So yeah,

without further ado,

let's get into it

this is my cheating sheet

Before I get to the main points of the video

I want to tell you guys that

the things that I'm going to mention are actually

for you guys if you want to save money

because you can actually buy everything from here

if you have more money

but if you want to save, you can continue watching

and yeah!

Number one,

things that you need to bring is

obviously obviously

money

I know before you come to Australia

you need to have AU $5000 in your bank account

for the visa requirement

but maybe some of you guys borrow that money

So yeah I want to tell you guys that

you don't actually need AU $5000

but I think you only need to bring

for one month expenses only

because I truly believe that you will find a job

within a month of your stay in Australia

So how much money that you need

for your expenses in a month in Australia?

for me $1500 Australian Dollar is enough.

that includes rent,

to eat

it's not eating out, but

you buy groceries and you cook for yourself,

for transportation

and also for your phone bills

another thing that you need to bring is

your body care

this includes everything that you need in the bathroom

Just like.. You know..

Shower Gel

Shampoo

Conditioner

Toothpaste

Toothbrush

Hand Body

And everything that you usually use in the bathroom

or after in the bathroom just for your body

because if you bring it from Indonesia,

you will save quite a lot!

the next thing that you need to bring

from Indonesia to Australia

before your working holiday is

Local and Asian Make Up and Skin Care

because obviously if it's local

then you won't find it in Australia

We have a lot of Asian Shop a lot of Asian Store

but you won't ever know

if the product that you use is avalable in here

so i think it's better for you

to bring everything that you use locally

from Indonesia to Australia

Another thing that you need to bring from Indonesia

that is also important is

your personal medicine

because seriously if you are gettting sick in Australia

that would cost you a lot of money to just

go to the doctor and get medicine

so yeah

before that, I really need you to take care of your self

t take care of your health

take care of your body

bring your personal vitamins from Indonesia

if you already have some medicines that fits you

or you already consume that a lot in Indonesia,

I think you should bring that

you also need to bring.. You know, like...

ointment

oils

you know, like..

Cajuput Oil

Balms

anything that you already like to use

First Aid!

just bring all of your personal medicine from Indonesia in here

next things that you need to bring is

your electronic devices that you can not live without

this includes camera

laptop

charger

batteries

hairdryer

curling iron

flattening iron

Yeah, I think just that..

if you have more electronics that you want to bring from Indonesia

just bring it in here

moving on

the other need to bring is

your most comfortable shoes

because I reckon that in here you will walk a lot

that's why if you already have

your most favorite shoes to walk

you need to bring that

and you don't need to bring high heels, girls

I always wear high heels back in Surabaya

but in here I never wear that

so yeah

save your space in your luggage

just bring comfortable shoes

flip flops

flats

yeah you need that more than high heels

next up is

clothing according to the season,

in Australia we have four season

spring summer autumn and winter

so you kinda want to bring clothing that

suitable for all of the seasons

I personally bring my waterproof coat

and it really saves me a lot

I can't really stand cold weather so

Yeah having a coat especially the waterproof one

because Melbourne is always raining

so yeah bring that and it will save you a lot

the next one is

universal electrical plug

I don't know how to say it in english but

I hope you get what I mean

so obviously Indonesia and Australia have diferent plug for the electricity

so if you have a lot of electronic devices

you obviously need adapter plug to plug it

in the electricity in Australia.. Oh My God

Australia and Indonesia have different cotton pads..

so....

another thing that Australia doesn't have is

body pillow

or guling

if you're a person that could not sleep

without your body pilow, you can bring that from Indonesia

also this is really important guys

for your banking account,

you need to bring your token key

because if you want to make some transaction in Indonesia

if you want to transfer money and stuff

you really need that token key in here

because you can only use internet banking

I tried to use mobile banking and it doesn't work with Australian number

so the only thing that I can do is through the internet banking

so you really need to bring that to here

another thing is power bank

power bank would be really helpful for you

because in here I ran out of battery all the time

so yeah I bring my own power bank from Indonesia

and it saves me on most days because

especially in here if you don't know the road

you don't know where to go

you will rely on your phone most of the time

for.. you know, maps..

and internet and everything

that will make you run out of battery really really fast

so bring your power bank

the next thing that is also important to bring from Indonesia is

everything black, like...

black t shirt, black shoes, black pants

especially if you're going to work in the hospitality industry

they usually require you to wear everything black

from the top the bottom and the shoes

even the shoes they want you to wear all black

just solid black

and also black socks

so yeah

to bring that from Indonesia would be good

but you can actually buy that from here

the shirt and the shoes you can actually get it for a cheap price

but yeah just the black pants

because me personally I love wearing jeggings

and jeggings that I brought from Indonesia

is really really really nice

and yeah I can't really find a good jegging in here

so yeah

I think you better bring your own black pants

from Indonesia to here

okay for this part

this is for girls

these things that I'm going to mention is

the things that i think is essential

so yeah here are all of the things

hair tie

hair tie is really really cheap in Indonesia

so I think you need to buy a lot of that

from Indonesia to here

yeah you need to bring that

fake eyelashes

if you're using that a lot like me

I think bringing that from Indonesia

will be really helpful because

fake eyelashes in Australia is pretty much expensive as well

fashion contact lenses

you'll find a lot in Indonesia but i never find one in here

so yeah

I think bringing your favorite colour contact lenses

or fashion contact lenses or prescription contact lenses

would be really great to bring some more from Indonesia

manicure and pedicure kit

because to have your nails done in here you need to pay for

$40-$60

and it's really expensive

so girls bring your own manicure and pedicure kit

from Indonesia

waxing kit

that's also important

if you don't do shaving, bring your waxing kit
