Very first day on Shopify why wouldn't you want to watch this

Hahaha alright ninjas you were about to take a one-way ticket into the mind of
Kevin David right now and we are going to talk about how I was able to make
$1000 on my very first day and kind of the mindset and the way that I came up
With the idea of the store and the product that I did it so why are we
Looking at the two comma Club good question um the reason that we're

Isn't that we're looking at the two comma Club is it because I looked
Through it and I'd like to look through it and see what other people are doing
to generate $1,000,000 or more with a funnel right and so what I did guys is I
looked through it and I looked for physical products because it's much less
common to sell a million dollars worth of something right a physical product
through one funnel than it is to sell you know some type of digital product so
who I actually ended up finding was this guy named Trey Llewellyn and Lumet act
kind of seemed like something that might be like an actual physical product
company and lo and behold it was and so I looked at this and I was thinking to
myself oh my gosh this guy's selling a million dollars worth of taxable
flashlights and I did more research into them into him and I realized he's
actually have sold you know almost ten million dollars worth of tactical
flashlights and if we look at these right what we're seeing is he's selling
these for two hundred and twenty four dollars each and so I was thinking to
myself oh my gosh by the way you know he has a key as it popped up here with
phone sales this is great phone sales help convert like crazy before you know
a little bit higher ticket of products but we'll talk about that later
and so I thought to myself oh my gosh so if he's selling a tactical flashlight
for two hundred twenty four dollars then I want to see what it costs and so I
looked and tall express myself and I'm seeing these prices $13 a piece for a
tactical flashlight right four dollars fifteen dollars sixteen
dollars forty seven dollars right eleven dollars so he's literally selling these
for two hundred and twenty four dollars which is like a two hundred dollar
profit per unit which is absolutely insane and so I was thinking myself okay
I can do this too and so you know what I do after I you know find a product that
I'm interested in you know a package shipping is available on some of these
some of these it's not right there's also ways to find manufacturers in the
USA also I'm thinking to myself you know okay so somebody out there has made a
million dollars selling these you know Trey Llewellyn
Llewelyn loom attacked ink and tray if you're watching this what up I got to
meet him super briefly at vinyl hacker and now I'm putting him completely on
blast we manufacture and sell tactical flashlights he's not hiding it right so
two comma Club the members is a great way to figure out who is you know making
a ton of money and who is incredibly sexy and humbling you know and is the
best Amazon FBA coach out there um but we're talking about Shopify so I found
somebody that had a two comma Club a million dollars worth of product so once
I found that I was I was thinking myself okay he's selling these for two hundred
profit per which means he has an absolutely insane marketing budget so
now I'm thinking myself okay can I get these people how do I actually target
people who want to buy attack to a flashlight so I come in to audience
insights and all I do is from business manager all tools audience insights this
shows you all of Facebook so with no interest set it's showing you that 54%
of Facebook is women 46% of Facebook is men it just shows you their age the the
pages they like their location their activity but if we come into interest
right here we can type in tactical and now all of a sudden there's a million
different things that we can target people because if somebody likes a
tactical flashlight they probably also liked actual shooter tactical roleplay
tactical pants right tactical light this is perfect it's literally a tactical
light and now all of a sudden these have changed right so instead of having being
54% women which is all Facebook people who like tactical flights are now 82% of
those people who have expressed interest in tactical flights tactical lights are
men and by interest this means that men have gone out and found a Facebook page
about tactical lights or tactical flashlights for example and liked it and
then Facebook picks it up was they're incredibly intelligent right and now all
of a sudden we have super detailed targeting ways to target people we see
that you know 82 percent of people who like tactical lights are men and we also
see that 45 year olds through 64 year olds is the overwhelming percentage
right if we include 35 year olds it's literally like you know over 60 percent
of the people so we know immediately when we're making our advertising
campaigns then we're gonna target people who like
tactical lights we also know that we could you know make a split test and
make a new ad for people who like tactical shooters or tactical roleplay
are five in tactical right 511 tactical is a big
clothing company kind of for you know the tactical type of you know got who's
into that type of thing or or grow but mainly got and so now all of a sudden we
have way way more detailed ways and this is the key guys people who fail at
Shopify are the ones who spend you know two months trying to make everything
perfect with their store and you know all of a sudden they realize people
don't want to buy the products right the people who succeed and I say this over
and over and over again to my you know hundreds of successful students on
Shopify now and shameless plug if you guys want to check it out we do have a

but you know the reason that you know so many of my students are successful it
feels like harp over and over and over again the people who are successful on
Shopify are the people who focus their time in the right places and the right
places to focus your time are making a ton of different advertising campaigns
right seeing what works because you don't know truly you can make a lot of
good guesses but you don't know truly what works until you make the ad and
until you actually you know create the audiences and actually start to target
people based on their interest right so the people who win are the people who
have you know a strategic way of testing products you know testing five products
a day and by testing products I mean creating a product listing importing
them from Aliexpress creating a product listing you know importing the pictures
making it all pretty and then making a facebook ad campaign with you know some
you know it's a simple but effective advertising
um advertisement and then seeing if you can actually get profitable sales right
the people who win are the one who test products and who test a lot of different
marketing campaigns and audiences and Facebook ad campaigns right and so all
of a sudden now we can tell a lot about these people we can see what they what
other pages they like to they like outdoor equipment shops like g-code
holsters tray backs Midway us a tactical shit
Klinger holsters empire tactical right a ton of different pages that we can all
of a sudden now target and now guys wouldn't be target these pages we're
never going to show our ad for our tactical flashlight to random people
we're only gonna show our ad for tactical flashlights to people who have
already told Facebook that they like tactical stuff whether it's Empire
tactical USA tactical clothing tactical lights right that says that's
as good as a guess when you can target somebody who's already expressed they
like tactical lights with a tag go flashlight add an attack table
flashlight product and you've already seen that you know tray is selling these
for a two hundred dollar profit per unit it's absolutely crazy so then you're
probably you know if you're following along closely you're probably saying
yourself but Kevin what kind of advertising one type of advertisements
should I make that you know actually work well you know you boy always
provides and here we are at at espresso calm slash as examples and so what this
is is it shows actual campaigns that people have used in the past that have
been you know successful but we see you know one from really honestly pretty
recent we show it that it's waterproof here we show that it's like a frickin
baton you can like beat somebody to death with it
you know we show that this is the world brightest flashlight seventy five
percent off right so you don't you there's literally no thought involved in
this you you we found the product we've we shown that he's made a million
dollars selling it right we show that there's a huge profit margin we show
that there's an interest out there and there's the ability to laser target
people who are interested in tactical flashlights before we even ever go about
selling it and you have examples here on add espresso showing us exactly how to
make ads that convert guys and so that is how I made $1000 on my very first day
four brand new store selling tactical flashlights and that's just kind of the
thought process I let you guys and you know have a little preview into the
crazy chaotic mind that exists up there you know it's a curse but sometimes you
know it's fun to kind of see what else people are thinking about see that you
know Pete how people are kind of approaching this and then using your own
creativity and your own experience to make this work out so the moral of the
story and the summary of this video is have a plan see what else is successful
right look at what other people are doing and then see if you can actually
replicate it yourself see if there's interest out there before you buy it see
if there's a healthy profit margin right take a look at what other people are
doing from an advertising perspective and spend your time doing the right
things which is testing a lot of products right and testing a lot of
