It's a scene virtually guaranteed to break anyone's heart: a dad drives away, apparently
leaving a child abandoned and alone on a remote dirt road.
As he checks his rear-view mirror, though, not everything is as it seems.
In fact, the shocking twist in this tale is sure to get you talking.
The story first started turning heads in 2015 after a viral video showing a dad picking
up a new addition to the family caused an online sensation.
The short film shows the father driving up to what appears to be an orphanage, where
a young, red-headed girl is waiting for him on the steps.
Next, she climbs onto the passenger seat and curls up while clutching her favorite doll.
The girl seems a little shy at first, but her new dad gives her a gentle, reassuring
pat on the head.
She then musters a little smile, seemingly realizing that everything will be okay.
As they drive along, the dad is eating a snack, and the little girl looks at him wistfully.
Fortunately for her, the man shares a piece of his food, and she devours it happily.
The girl then returns to gazing out of the window as the sun shines through the trees.
At home, another girl is drawing a picture.
And her mom is giving her a kiss on the cheek just as Dad walks in with the red-headed youngster
from the orphanage.
This could be a moment of tension, but the other girl runs over excitedly to welcome
the red-head, and the two bond immediately.
Then, still clutching her favorite doll, the red-headed girl shyly approaches Mom.
A little nervous, she nevertheless allows Mom and Daughter to play with her hair, which
is tied up in bunches.
Her confidence grows in time, too, and she eventually plays with her new sister.
However, after happy walks and joyful playing on the river bank, things start to change.
Indeed, there appears to be a feeling of isolation for the red-headed girl; she becomes nervous
around loud noises, and she has a fear of bright lights.
That's when the bad behavior starts and things begin to go really wrong.
For example, there's spilled red wine on a white table cloth that causes Mom to shout
at the little girl.
The daughter no longer wants to play with her, either, and in boredom or frustration
the daughter starts pulling apart the girl's favorite doll.
So the red-headed girl starts to annoy Mom in the kitchen.
Indeed, she tugs at Mom's shirt while she's doing the washing up, seeking the affection
she so desperately needs.
Mom pushes her away, however, and she grows increasingly annoyed with her as she persists.
The red-headed girl tries to play with Dad next, but he's working at a computer and
pushes her away.
What's more, she makes a mess while she's playing and is never allowed to eat at the
table with the rest of the family.
With the girl now proving to be a nuisance and even a burden, the family seem to question
why they welcomed her into their home in the first place.
After all, they don't have time for her, and she's too needy and demanding.
Then they come up with a plan to deal with her and her unwanted behavior.
That's when Dad drives her to a remote dirt road.
As he opens the passenger door to let her out of the car, he gives her one last gentle
pat on the head to let her know that everything will be okay.
And then he distracts her from what he's actually about to do.
Shockingly, he takes her toy doll and throws it far into the grass.
Then, as she runs to fetch it back, he climbs into the car and drives away.
The girl stands and watches him disappear into the distance, helpless and alone.
Perhaps she's thinking that he might come back.
As he drives ever further from the spot where he left the little girl, though, he checks
the rear-view mirror.
Is he regretting his decision to abandon her, or is he checking that she's not following
him?
Whichever it is, what he's driving away from isn't the red-headed girl you'd expect.
No, what the driver sees in the rear-view is in fact a dog waiting faithfully next to
the battered doll.
The film is called Gift and was made by the Hungarian production company DeadLens Pictures
to raise awareness of abused and abandoned animals.
The story is told with the little girl as the central character to emphasize the idea
of how heartless and wrong it would be to treat a family member of any species in such
a way.
Director ZsofiaZsemberi told Media, "We made this short movie in order to draw attention
to the abandoned, abused animals on the planet."
Zsemberi continued, "I truly think it is just as important to understand that whatever
happens to an animal could also happen to a child."
Furthermore, Zsemberi believes that those who abuse animals may likely abuse humans,
which is why she felt it was so important to draw the parallel.
Zsemberi said that she made the film deliberately stark in order to grab people's attention
and stand out.
And it's certainly done that, having been viewed more than 24 million times on YouTube
to date.
She explained, "I think it's important to make movies that could influence others
to rethink or even change things for the better in their own lives or in the way things are
happening around them."
According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, around 7.6
million pets enter animal shelters each year.
That breaks down to about 3.9 million dogs and 3.4 million cats.
Of those, only 2.7 million ever find new homes, while the same number will, sadly, be put
down.
The canine star of the film is Heather, herself a rescue dog from the Hungarian animal shelter
FAPF.
And just in case you were wondering, Heather and the red-headed girl, Julcsi, were happy
and well looked-after during the production of this powerful and important film.

How To Email Marketing (The Single Biggest Mistake Many Email Marketers Make) - Duration: 4:12.
the single biggest mistake many email marketers make and don't even realize it
hi Jason here and in this video you're going to learn the single biggest
mistake the email marketers make are you making this same mistake I know that
I've been guilty of it and I know how difficult email marketing can be if not
done right I've been there but this video will highlight the single biggest
mistake many marketers make so you can avoid it
okay without further ado let's talk email marketing
if you asked a group of marketers this simple question
when you send an email to your list what's your number one goal
what answer do you think you'd get?
to get readers to open it to get readers to read it to
give some useful info to build rapport to sell a product
those are all good answers
but they're also all wrong answers
of course you want them to open
the email read the email build some rapport maybe give some
useful info but none of these are your primary objective
so what is?
to get the click that's it
everything else is simply in support of that number one goal
ideally you want to train your list to click your links like mind numb robots
you want them to click automatically without thinking because
it's what they always do when they open your emails
you don't need to sell the product the sales page or video you send them to should do that for you
you don't need to tell them everything about the blogpost you're sending them to
the post will do that for you
so how can you improve your click-through rate?
give great information people will like you and
trust you if you give them great info that helps them clicking the link is
just a natural extension of that
show them the what but not the how
you might give them a really useful tip on what drives super targeted traffic but to
learn how to do it they need to click the link
don't always send them to sales letters
send them to fun stuff to show them your blog post your videos and even
other people's stuff now and then
and now and then surprise them with a free product
your email tells them a method to list build using Facebook
then you send them to a link that will give them 5 more list building methods
and when they click the link they see a very short sales page offering the product for free
how much do you think they love you right now
and what are the odds that they will click more of your links in the future just in case
there is another free product on the other side
of course your list and your niche may call for slightly different methods
but bottom line your primary goal of email
marketing is always to get the click because the more trained your list is to
click the more money you will make in the long run
I hope you found this video useful please like and leave a comment about whether you agree or disagree
about the importance of the click

Make sure that you're enrolled in the right classes - Duration: 2:13.
In this video, we're going to talk about the kinds of classes you should be taking over
the next few years to set yourself up for getting into college.
So let's get started.
First, you'll need to take 4 years of English classes.
This includes courses in which you study writing, and courses in which you read literature.
Why so many English classes?
Because colleges know that you need to be able to write well in nearly every career...you
need to be able to read and analyze, and you need to have strong communication skills.
And you'll learn all of these things, in English classes.
You'll also need 4 years of math classes.
Math is the tool that you'll use for many other classes, especially those in science.
Your math classes should include at least four of the following six classes, taken in
this order: Pre-algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II
and/or Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Calculus.
You should also plan to take 4 years of laboratory science classes.
You'll have the strongest background if you have taken at least one year each of:
Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science.
Another thing you'll need is – at a minimum -- 4 years of social sciences classes, such
as Government, Sociology, Geography, and Psychology.
It's also a good idea to take 3 or 4 years of a foreign language.
More and more, colleges are requiring a minimum of 2 to 3 years of language study while in
high school.
So if you take 3 or 4 years, you'll be ahead of the curve
A small number of colleges also require one year of visual or performing arts classes.
Taking these classes throughout high school can help you develop a special talent that
will make you a highly qualified applicant.
Most colleges require students to meet certain college prep curriculum standards, but just
meeting the minimum is not necessarily the best way to prepare for college.
Strong preparation means going beyond the minimum—so see if you qualify for any Honors,
AP or college level courses.
Remember, the more you challenge yourself in high school, the easier it will be, to
get into college.

Where To Start? - Bob Proctor - Duration: 2:02.
Hello there and welcome.
Do you know, almost everyone has a great idea,
and they're gonna execute their great idea.
I have all kinds of people come to me,
I've got a great idea I'd like to share with you.
What they do, is they want me to execute their great idea.
Why don't they execute their idea?
When you get a real good idea, you should act on it.
People have ideas of starting a business,
I've started a number of different businesses.
Question is: Where to start?
You start where you are and you start with what you've got.
That's all you need.
When you start where you are and with what you've got,
and you bring your mind to focus on that idea,
you will attract everything to you that you need.
You were taught, "Seek ye first this kingdom,
in its righteousness
and all these things will be given to us."
See when you learn to focus on something,
you get on a frequency.
And when you're on that frequency you start
to attract whatever you want.
You may not have any money,
you many not have the resources that you need to execute,
to build it into something big. That doesn't matter.
All the resources that you need
to do anything you want to do is already here.
But you've got to get in touch with them.
You've got to get in harmony with them and boom,
you'll rush 'em into your life.
You'll attract the money, the people, the thoughts,
the things, everything you need you'll attract to you.
So where do you start?
You always start where you are,
and you start with what you've got.
Don't be looking at what you don't have.
Think of what you do have.
Fall in love with your idea and get it rolling now.

Can You Die From Not Peeing? - Duration: 5:57.
This video is brought to you by Honey.
Save money when shopping online by visiting the link in the description and downloading
the free browser extension.
Once upon a time there was a woman who drank three gallons (7 liters) of water, and we
mean she gulped down that amount in just two hours.
Why would she do such a thing, you might ask?
Well, the same reason why people eat 50 hot dogs in one sitting.
It was in the spirit of competition.
You see, the 28-year old woman in question – Jennifer – had joined a radio station
competition called "Hold Your Wee for a Wii", with the prize being Nintendo's
games console.
All the contestants had to do was drink this huge amount of water and the last person not
to pee was the winner.
Was this a dangerous thing to do?
A caller certainly felt so, calling in and telling the radio station that the competition
should be called-off.
All 10 employees at the station just shrugged off the warning.
Jennifer took this competition seriously and she imbibed almost 3 gallons.
This was Herculean of her, and most of the other contestants dropped out early.
One man said after the competition, "My bladder couldn't handle it anymore."
He quit.
The others were given bigger bottles of water.
So far, so good, and just after she drank her last gulp, she even joked that she "looked
pregnant again."
Only shortly after she had finished her superhuman drink of water, and almost won the competition
(she came second), she said she felt really, really nauseous, so much so she could barely
move from her chair.
Her husband thought it best to drive her home so she could rest, but in the car she complained
of a mammoth, skull-crushing headache.
She cried, saying her brain felt like it was coming out of her skull, and worse, she said
her vision in one eye had just about gone.
She and her husband believed that the faster they get home the better, and that she just
needed to lie down and get some sleep.
They arrive home, and it's now been a few hours since she took her last drink.
The weird thing is, she still doesn't need a pee.
Jennifer goes to bed, while her husband prepares dinner for the family.
When dinner is ready, he doesn't wake her up, thinking it better she sleep-off that
terrible headache.
Unbeknownst to him, she is suffering from a series of seizures in the bedroom.
She's not sleeping now, she's unconscious.
Finally, the husband thinks it's been too long and goes to the bedroom to wake Jennifer
up, only when he gets there he sees she is unconscious, and even witnesses her having
another seizure.
Now, there are many versions of this story in the news, but all versions have the same
ending: sadly, she died.
Whether that was in the ambulance, or in the bedroom, or in the bathroom, we don't know;
all we know, is that she died.
What!?
You might ask, died from just 3 gallons (7 liters) of water.
Yes, and it's called water toxicity.
It happened to a 17-year old just a few years ago in the U.S.
He drank two liters of water and two liters of Gatorade after football practice.
He dropped dead on the way to hospital in a helicopter, from the same thing, sometimes
called overhydration.
In the UK in the 90s, there was another similar, famous case.
A young woman had gone to a rave and taken the drug ecstasy.
She had heard that when you do that, you sweat a lot and it can be dangerous, so you have
to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated.
She drank 3 gallons (7 liters) of water in about 90 minutes and soon collapsed into a
coma.
The press jumped on the story saying she had died because of illicit drugs, but an inquest
revealed it was the water that did it, not the drugs.
But why do people die from drinking too much?
Well, over-drinking – and it has to be really large amounts – changes the electrolytes
in your body, reducing how much salt, or sodium you have in you.
This is called "dilutional hyponatremia."
The latter word basically translates from Greek and Latin as "insufficient salt in
the blood."
When it's severe, it's what we call water toxicity.
You should have anywhere from 135 and 145 millimoles of blood sodium per liter, and
if it drops below that, you are in trouble.
Usually your kidneys help you out by sieving water, or other liquids, as well as salt,
through the body.
But play a game like hold your wee for wii and you are basically overwhelming your kidneys,
water-logging them, and they can't do their job.
You are flooding your blood with water.
Your brains cells swell as water is pushed into them, and, we all know there's not
much room to swell up there.
When this happens, the first thing is you feel sick, or confused, as happened to Jennifer.
Those unbelievable headaches she was having in the car were because her brain was swelling.
The next thing is usually seizures, followed by coma and death.
Doctors tell us that this can even happen to people running marathons, so you've really
got to watch out for how much water you are drinking.
It might also happen over a long period of time, not just guzzling down loads of water
or any drink quickly.
But how do you know how much to drink, so you don't overdo it?
One scientist put it like this, "Drink to your thirst.
It's the best indicator."
As for poor Jennifer's grief-stricken family, they were awarded $16.5 million in compensation.
It seems the disc jockey and staff were just very ignorant.
During the competition, someone had said, "Are you sure this isn't dangerous?"
The DJ replied, "Not with water.
Your body is 98 percent water.
Why can't you take in as much water as you want?"
Oh, how we wish he had seen this show first.
They were all fired, of course.
Lesson learned...not every competition or giveaway is worth the cost.
Sometimes you just have to save up, and buy the product you desire outright.

11 Strange Behaviors That Indicate You Are Spiritually Awakened - Duration: 6:57.
11 Strange Behaviors That Indicate You Are Spiritually Awakened
Matters of the spirit can be difficult for us to understand simply because they are so
much bigger than anything we can see or directly experience here on Earth.
When we first start our spiritual journey, we are like an empty vessel, eagerly seeking
something, anything, to fill it.
With each step towards true spiritual awakening we are provided with new knowledge and understanding
of the world, unique insights into who we are and why we are here, and a renewed sense
of purpose.
This journey of spiritual awakening is a long one, and for this reason, it is not uncommon
to overlook the fact that we have reached new heights and milestones along the way.
As these are matters of the spirit, they are generally not obvious or in our faces.
Instead, we must learn to watch for the subtle, overlooked changes and shifts in our lives.
#1 You Enjoy Your Alone Time
Its not that you dont care to socialize with the rest of the world, but you are aware
of the value of time alone with your own thoughts.
You embrace the silence that comes when everyone else is gone, whether its home alone curled
up on the couch, or taking a long walk outdoors surrounded by nothing by nature.
While others are afraid to be alone, you welcome it.
#2 You Believe Everything Has Deeper Meaning
Nothing is as simple as what you see on the surface.
You are well acquainted with the greater meaning of the universe, and for that reason, youre
always looking for the hidden messages, signs and symbols that are all around you.
While others may simply see a clock, you see the number flashing on the display, pulling
on your knowledge of numerology to understand exactly what that number is trying to reveal
to you at that moment.
#3 You Arent Afraid to Go Against the Mainstream
You have a unique understanding and confidence, embracing who you are and what makes you an
individual.
You realize that each of us is different in some way, and thats what makes this world
such an interesting place.
For this reason, you stand tall and embrace your differences, allowing them to shine true.
Refusing to conform to social trends, you prefer to carve your own path.
#4 You Are the Advice Giver in Your Social Circle
When your friends and family are trying to decide what to do in any situation, youre
the one that they run to.
Others trust your opinions and advice because you always seem to have the right thing to
say and a fresh, clear view of the situation at hand.
You are approachable, non-judgmental and understanding, allowing others to come to you with even the
most challenging of situations without fear of how you may respond.
#5 You Will Find Yourself Face to Face with Past Hurts
If there are negative or toxic experiences or situations from your past that have yet
to be resolved, a spiritual awakening will bring these memories to the forefront, demanding
to be heard.
Your new knowledge and outlook on the world will empower you to finally face these hurts,
releasing them from your life and freeing yourself from the unnecessary baggage that
you have been carrying around.
#6 You Dont Believe Everything You Hear
You begin to analyze and overanalyze the information that is presented to you, and in doing so
you start to see just how much incorrect information is actually out there in the world.
From daily gossip to the information being spread across social media, there is so much
hype, propaganda and outright false info.
You take the time to question the information, doing your own research to discover the facts
before deciding what you do and dont believe.
#7 You Dont Always Do Well with Authority
Its not that you set out to actively defy authority, however, the fact that you actively
question everything rather than just acting out of blind faith often gets you into trouble.
Those in positions of power generally dont like being questioned or second-guessed, and
thats what you do best.
You dont generally outright break the rules, but if there is a problem with them or a loophole
to be discovered, you will find it.
#8 You Possess an Open Mind
You have your own ideas, thoughts, and opinions, but you dont allow yourself to become so
wrapped up in them that you close yourself off from other viewpoints or ways of thinking.
Instead, you maintain an open mind, allowing yourself to learn and grow through opposing
opinions.
You realize you may not always have the right answers, and thats okay, as long as youre
open to discovering the right answer.
#9 You Have Incredibly Vivid Dreams
As you reach new levels of spiritual awakening, you will find that you are better in tune
with the energies of the universe and the various entities that move among us.
One of the key ways that these entities will try to communicate with us is through our
dreams, providing us with vivid imagery full of signs and symbols.
Your dreams are incredibly realistic, to the point that you will sometimes wake up only
to find yourself questioning whether or not you were actually asleep.
#10 You Genuinely Want to Save the World
While some people will talk the talk, acting as though they would do anything and everything
to protect and save those around you, however, when push comes to shove they refuse to step
outside of their comfort zone.
While others may refer to you as a dreamer, you genuinely believe that the world can be
saved with a little hard work and dedication.
Compassionate and caring, you arent afraid to sacrifice in your own life to make it happen.
#11 You Are No Longer a Slave to Your Ego
We live in a society where the mainstream media creates the expectation that we should
put our own egos first at all times, seeking validation, adoration, and self-worth from
the people around us.
When you experience a spiritual awakening, you realize that this is all a lie.
Suddenly feeling free from your ego and the expectations of society, you begin to experience
the bigger truth of the universe and the role that you play in this master plan.

How Intimacy Speeds Up Growth, Momentum, and Success in Business - Duration: 3:34.
Let's talk about intimacy.
Let's talk about the ability to have
connection, conversation, and community.
Now here's the interesting thing.
Have you ever gone on a phone call,
perhaps it's a sales call, or perhaps
you just got a new client, and you just don't feel
connected to them.
It's not the fact that they're a bad person,
it's just quite literally the fact that
you don't really just believe in their mission.
It doesn't get you out of bed.
I've done that for quite some time in my life.
I'm getting at businesses, and what I've realized
is that we, if we do not create intimacy inside
of our marketing.
If we do not create connection, authenticity,
connection of story, connection of self, connection
of brand, if we do not create community,
the ability to allow us to feel inter connected
with our leads, with the people that actually follow
us, with our audience.
If we do not create conversation, the ability
for someone to have a two way street with you and your
team, what we end up actually creating is
a scenario where there's no intimacy.
There's no connection to you.
There's no connection to your level of alignment.
And alignment's a very important side of business
because business isn't just about making money.
Business is about being able to serve the people
that really kind of wake you up, right?
Sorry in the background I'm getting ready for a
party here later on today,
but intimacy is about sharing.
Intimacy is about showing your personal philosophy,
and a connection in intimacy is about allowing
people to know your story, being able to kind of peek
behind the vail, right?
And so so many people miss out on this.
So many people miss out on the storytelling.
So many people miss out on this key aspect
of marketing because they do, they have a difficult
time connecting with their customer.
If you don't connect with your customer,
it's difficult to close the sales call.
If it's difficult to connect with your customer,
it's difficult to get that lifetime value
so that you can continue generating revenue,
continue helping those people.
And if you are not connecting to your customer,
well, don't be like me.
I blew up a multi-million dollar business
because I wasn't connected with my customers.
Nothing to say with those customers, they're amazing
people, seriously amazing entrepreneurs,
but it wasn't in congruent and alignment with me.
And I'm not just being in business to just make money.
Yeah, I'm in business to make profit,
but I'm in business to have impact.
I'm in business to have impact but still be able
to wake up every day and enjoy what I do.
If you are like that, too, I want to introduce
you to the R.O.I. method.
Relevancy, omnipresence, intimacy.
Now I've just shared with you one piece,
but the other two pieces, when combined
with intimacy, create what I call the nuclear effect.
So I'm going to share with you what's behind
me right there.
And it's a really cool framework,
and if you're really looking to be able
to scale your business up,
if you're really looking to be able
to utilize marketing that's based upon
being ethical, if you're really looking
for marketing that's based upon illumination
instead of manipulation, I know you're gonna love this.
And if you want to be able to get people on the phone
that you're just excited to work with,
this is gonna be a game changer for you.
So anyways, take a look below, above or below,
bleh, wherever the link is to, I think
you're gonna absolutely love this.
It's gonna be an amazing upgrade to what
you're already doing in your business
and allowing you to really attract customers

Should You Give To Your Employees First or Vice Versa? | Straight Talk with Lou Mosca - Duration: 1:57.
♪♪♪
Today's Monday, April 30.
I spent some time over the weekend with a bunch of our staff.
We took them to Top Golf to hit some golf balls,
have some fun and welcome some new people on board.
I always liked doing these types of things,
socializing with all of our good folks.
It makes me wonder sometimes when I'm thinking about
employees and your staff, what determines how
good you should or could be to your staff.
Should it be ownership should give first and, hopefully,
employees reciprocate?
Should it be employees give first and employees bend over and show their true value to your
organization and to your cause?
Then, as an owner, you should reciprocate.
Sort of like the chicken and the egg kinda thing?
I'm a believer that ownership has to put their money where their mouth is.
Ownership is the driver.
Ownership is the key.
Ownership controls the checkbook.
Ownership controls the direction.
I think your employees need to step up.
Your staff, your colleagues, the people you work with need to step up and perform on a
daily basis.
In the perspective of the chicken and the egg of who should step up first and who should
provide the benefit first,
in my opinion.
it should always come from owners.
It should always come from ownership.
You need to make an investment in your people and your process and what you do and how you
do it.
People need to know that you respect them and that you care about them.
You can even borderline love them sometimes; it's okay with me.
It has to be a healthy reciprocal respect.
Chicken and the egg.
Who gives first: Owner or employees?
I want accountability from all employees, from all staff.
But I'm a firm believer it's got to come from ownership.
You have a good day.

The '3 Currencies' You MUST Be Actively Growing For Business Success - Duration: 3:57.
Did you actually know there's
three currencies in your business?
No, seriously, three currencies, okay?
Bear with me, so awhile ago I was
on Entrepreneur and I was talking about
these three currencies on Entrepreneur Magazine.
And they were money, audience and relationships.
So if you think about it, it would
be money, profit, right?
Wealth, right?
Financial wealth.
It would be influence and it would be fame.
Now, if you look at it,
yeah, at some point the economy's gonna go down.
At some point the economy's no longer
gonna be the way that the economy is right now.
And I learned this the hard way of course
and like a lot of people have learned it the hard way.
And, you know, the problem is
is that money is only one currency.
And the other problem is that money's
a currency that we're agreeing upon, right?
Me and you agree with the government
that a piece of paper that may
not even be printed is worth something.
That's a little scary, isn't it?
So, when I, you know, when I lost everything,
I was almost like a million dollars in debt
about four years ago.
When I lost pretty much everything,
I said, you know what, I'm going to put
my time and money into creating more
than just one currency.
And so I started down this path
and what I realized is that there's actually
a methodology to creating all three
of these in real time inside of your business
so you're not just making money,
but you're actually developing audience
and relationships at the same time.
And you can actually do it all the same time
where they all feed each other, right?
So your money feeds your audience,
your audience feeds your relationships,
your relationships feeds your audience,
and so it ends up being this kind
of like ball
of just the ability to go into any business
and exponentially grow in any niche, any industry.
So I coined the term the nuclear effect.
And the nuclear effect is essentially
the ability to create all three currencies
in real time automatically by utilizing,
of course, momentum.
Okay, now, of course I'll explain a little bit
more inside once you click above or below.
But, the nuclear effect essentially utilizes
the R.O.I. method and I'll also recommend
or kinda talk about that in the video
that I'm sharing, in the guide that I'm sharing with you.
And the R.O.I. method, when implemented correctly,
when we're relevant omni presence
and intimate in an industry
we're able to create the exponential effect
that is the nuclear effect.
And when this happens, we go beyond creating
just financial wealth, we actually go
in being able to create audience
that can, of course, be utilized for whatever
we want into the future and relationships
that can be leverage for things like speaking
things like P.R., things like partnerships
all these different types of things.
We literally become, of course,
the quote unquote, the influencer in the industry.
We become a force to be reckoned with.
Not in a bad way but in a really good way.
Because I know if you're listening to this
you're somebody that wants to bring ethics to business.
You want to be able to dominate in an ethical way
where we illuminate the pain for our customers
and the people that we work with
instead of manipulating them into just buying
our $9.97 product when the timer counts down,
and the timer's not even real, okay?
So, if that resonates with you,
if you want to learn a little bit more
about the nuclear effect, these three currencies,
and I think you're gonna want to,
because at some point the economy's gonna crash
and it's people like you that implement
and me that are gonna be able to ride that
and be able to utilize that and be able to
even use it even more to be able
to serve and help and impact even more people
while of course allowing this nuclear effect
to continue far into the future.
So with that said, Scott Oldford here,
I am so excited to introduce you to this.
It is going to be a game changer,
it's so simple, yet so easy and the framework allows
you to implement this so, so, so quickly.
Alright, I'll see you inside, bye.

Simple Guide To Fitness - Duration: 15:20.
Welcome to my channel! In today's video, I'm gonna be covering the basics of fitness
Basically how to get started and I'm gonna take you through each thing with a focus on nutrition, and then at the end
I'll go through a few
Workout basics, and basically filter through all the information out there, it can be quite overwhelming
there's quite a lot to take in with this video so maybe get a piece of paper and a
Pen and write a few things down, but other than that. That's it. Let's get started
Your body burns a certain amount of calories a day whether you're active or not, this is known as your
TDEE or your total daily energy expenditure in order to lose weight you need to be consuming slightly less than your TDE
To remain the same weight, you need to eat your TDEE
and to gain weight
Build muscle you need to be eating slightly more than your TDEE
The first thing you need to figure out is what your TDEE is. I'd suggest using an online calculator
You can just google
mate!
Can you be quiet please? I'm trying to record a video *Crying off screen*
Right, so the first thing you need to do is figure out roughly what your TDEE is, to do this
Use a tdee calculator. You can find this by just googling TDEE calculator - funny enough
It's weird isn't it?
*Distant mh-hghm in agreement without hearing what was said*
This calculator won't be perfect, but it will give you a good estimation of what your
TDEE is
TDEEE
E E E E
Now you need to decide what your goal is. If your goal is to build muscle, I'd suggest
Eating around 500 calories more than your TDEE
*Pssst* if you ... What?
Um...
Oh I can't remember
I was going to say something Hahaha
Oh yeah! can you see me in your video?
Um... I don't know lets have a look
No
Oh that's good I've just been picking my nose.
Hahahaha
Now you need to decide what your goal is. If your goal is to lose weight, I'd suggest eating about
500 calories less than your TDEE. If your goal is to stay the same
Id suggest eating ... or you need to eat your
TDEE in calories, so you need to eat...yeah, you know...
And to gain weight you to eat about 500 calories, or roughly 500 calories or more, more than your TDEE.
I'm 5ft 11 and a half ...
*Sad Music*
5ft 11...
5 ft 11 and
Yeah
For example I'm about 5ft 11, 200 pounds at about 15% body fat
so my TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) is about
3000 calories. So for me to lose weight, I need to eat 500 calories less than that so
2500. For me to stay the same, I'd need to eat 3,000 calories, and then to gain weight
3500 calories
So now.. we gons talks about some macro Nutreints
So umm... I'm quick fun fact. I just broke the other camera that I was using, so I've had to switch to the big one
But the show must go on. There are three types of macronutrients ...
Carbs
Proteins
And Fats
Each of these macronutrients provide energy to the body in the form of
calories. For example, for one gram of protein there's four calories
for one gram of carbs there's four calories and
fats there's nine calories per gram. You need to find a good ratio or good balance between
The different calories, and make sure youre' getting one of each into your diet
Don't treat any of them as if they are bad.
There's a lot of misconception out there that like fats or carbs are bad, and you should avoid them at all costs
But really it's not
What's gonna make you gain weight or lose weight, is the overall calories that you're eating. so yeah...
Whether you're eating above or below your TDEE
What macro-nutrients you eat, doesn't really matter. The more important thing is that you're getting in the right amount of ...
Calories overall. Once you've got that set in stone
That's when you can start worrying about the different macronutrients
But what's most important is the number of calories that you're eating.
It is by no means necessary to track your macronutrients
When I first started if I was so strict with it. I'd get a protein...
My protein scoop, and level off the top of it so that I knew exactly how much protein powder was in each scoop
Just ridiculous. You don't need to go that far, so like I said what's most important is that you are getting
The right amount of calories in. Basically ... pretty much
There's not really like some magical number, or some magical ratio of of macronutrients that you should be eating
Basically what you should go by is. What do you think you should you could stick to? say like...
if you
Really enjoy foods that have a lot of carbs in them
Then it doesn't really make sense to go on a low-carb diet, because you're not gonna be able to stick to it.
That's the most important thing
Are you gonna be able to stick to it?
That being said that general rule is around one gram of protein per pound of bodyweight.
About 0.5. Grams of Fats per pound of body weight, and then
You'll make up the rest of the calories with your carbs. So say for me...
200 pounds. so I'd have grams of protein. Then I'd have hundred grams of Fats, and then based on what my goal was
so if it was to gain weight. Say if I was having say
3500 calories you'd add up the calories
of your protein intake so 200 grams of protein
Then 100 grams of fat, and then you'd work out whatever amount of calories that is and then
to get to 3,500 calories you'd
Make up the rest of the calories to get there with Carbs. If that makes sense? I hope that makes sense?
Or is that too ... I hope that's not Confusing.
Now for calorie tracking
For tracking your calories I'd suggest getting calorie tracking App. The one I use is MyFitnessPal.
It'll make your life ffffthoo much easier
You could use like a notepad or something to write down all your calories, but it's honestly it saves you so much work just
Tracking it in an app. So much easier.
Yeah tracking calories can be a pain to start with,ut as you get used to it
It'll become second nature to you. As far as what foods to eat, really you can eat anything
um... the only thing that's going to change, based on your goal ...based on your goal. Whether it's to gain weight, or lose
Lose muscle ? Gain weight or lose muscle.
Gain weight, or lose weight, is gonna be the portion sizes. Like the amount that you actually eat. The overall
calories throughout the day that you eat, is the only thing that's really gonna change.
That being said keeping your diet fairly healthy can have
Benefits such as like it's a lot easier to stay within your calories
Eating some healthier foods like... say for example like if you had to eat
so if you're losing weight and your calories were
1500 for that day. And then you had a pizza which was a thousand calories, then for the rest of that day, you've only got
500 calories to work with. So not really
not very much
That's not to say these foods are off limit by all means no
by all means have your pizza if you can fit it into your calories and
You know what you're doing, you're keeping track of everything, then go for it
also, eating healthier has benefits such as like micronutrients which can just make you feel healthier and
perform better in the gym. It's just generally better for your for your body in general, but in terms of
Losing weight, or gaining muscle is really not necessary at all
Another point is you don't want the calories to start controlling your life
Give yourself a little slack
It doesn't matter if you go off the rails one day just get back on track the next day
Just get back on track. Being less restrictive to yourself can actually be helpful
You got to think of it as like a long term
This is something that you're gonna have to stick to so don't be unrealistic don't
Just suddenly cut everything out because you're not gonna be able stick to it. Many people see their diet in like a black and white
kind of manner, like either
They're on their diet, or they're off their diet
these people they may have a great ability to restrain themselves
or restrict themselves from eating certain foods for a short period of time
but then
Once their diet is over, then they just go off the rails and go back to the way that they were eating before.
Being less restrictive with your diet can be more sustainable.
Right now, on to workout basics. I've put this one last because most people prioritize their
Workout, or what they do in the gym over
like their diets. The gym only takes around like one of two hours of your day, but
Like what you eat, and your nutrition plays much bigger part. Like that's the rest of the day.
The rest of the time is
nutrition pretty much
For everyone no matter what your goal ...
I would suggest using some kind of program that like incorporates some kind of progressive overload.
So that you're constantly making progress each time you go into the gym
So you're not doing the same thing, day in day out. A lot of programs out there
Don't incorporate this. Like, a lot of bodybuilding programs are just
like
They'll give you a rep range and then some
vague
Number of reps. Like say, 4 sets of 12 reps
and then you just do that each week with no progression in weight, or progression in reps.
So you're just doing the same thing week in week out. And not progressing.
Strength based programs are especially useful for
Building muscle as a natural lifter. Most bodybuilding programs will look like what I explained before like
giving you a certain amount of reps and then
a certain amount of sets, and you'll do the same thing week in week out, with no progression.
Most of these programs are invented by bodybuilders or
By for bodybuilders or by bodybuilders who are on performance-enhancing drugs
and it'll work for you. If that's you then
by all means go for it!
but as a natural lifter, the most ideal way to gain muscle is to get stronger with
Get stronger over time so you're using more weight with progressive overload.
a common misconception, usually by females
is
that lifting heavy weights will make you big and bulky
That is not true, unless that's your goal
You need to be eating
The right amount of calories like it needs to be your primary goal in order for you to gain any
muscle size
building a little bit of muscle, will increase your basal metabolic rate
Which is basically how many calories you burn at rest?
Which will then increase your TDEE
So will increase the amount of calories that you need to eat
to stay at the same weight. So therefore you can lose weight
eating more calories.
Last thing is programming.
If you're a beginner, and/or have no idea what your 1 rep max is
Your 1 rep max is the most amount of weight you can possibly lift for one rep.
if you don't know what your 1 rep max is And you're just starting out.
I'd suggest by just adding a little bit more
Either progressing with a little bit more weight each week or,
Adding in
Another set, or increasing the reps each week
Don't continuously.. you're not gonna be able to keep increasing it to infinity
It's gonna be a point where you can't increase it anymore
but if you're just starting out, maybe just add a little bit of weight to your exercises each week.
if you do know what your 1 rep max is. I'd suggest just using some kind of program such as this
right here
so
taking a percentage of your 1 rep max, and then
Progressing through... like starting around 70% and then going up by
small increments in the percentages each week.
for this progression only ...Really, you're gonna only have it on your main compound movements.
You're not gonna be able to progress everything with like a program
But as you get stronger for the isolation movements you will
gradually be using heavier and heavier weight, but
You don't really need to worry about that because it's gonna happen anyway.
The stronger you get at the compound movements ,the stronger you'll get at the isolation movements
Start your workout with the compound movement because it's the most taxing
Exercise, and then follow it up by your accessory movement so like your dumbbell curls
tricep extensions, and any accessory movements to your main lift.
Last but not least, a really important tip is
You don't want to always take your sets to failure. What I do is I leave at least
One or two reps in the tank, so if I do eight reps I could've done ten
Doing this, ensures that you have good technique
Good bar velocity, and that you can complete
All the sets, and all the reps like intended for that workout. like you don't want to be taking every set
To failure you can do an AMRAP set at the end so say
AMRAP is 'as many reps as possible', so say you take a weight
You do 70% for say five sets
So you'll do say five sets of five with say 70% ,and then on your last set
You'll do as many reps as you can with that weight so five that's a five and then maybe your last
Your last set you'll get eight
But still, even with this you don't want to take it all the way to failure. You want to keep that good technique.
For as long as.. you want to practice that good technique
Oh getting a call.

The Weirdest Ways to Solve Big Problems! - Duration: 12:38.
Here are some of the weirdest ways big problems have been solved!
9 - Tallest man in the world If you've been following our videos here,
you'd know by now that dolphins are smart.
And they loooooove pufferfish.
Anyways, there are tons of scientists trying to decipher dolphin-language and culture.
Dolphins are an advanced race, and they have many things in common with us.However, just
like human babies, baby dolphins aren't exactly the brightest.
Back in 2006, there were two baby dolphins in Fushun, China who were left unsupervised.
During this time without human supervision, these two dolphins managed to eat off the
plastic edge of their pool!
They succeeded in swallowing the chunks of plastic before their caregivers noticed and
stopped them.
No matter what the vets did to try and get the plastic bits out, the dolphin's stomachs
just constricted with the instruments they used, and no one had arms long enough to reach
inside the dolphin's stomach.
With the plastic in their stomach, the dolphins couldn't eat, so the vets were afraid that
they weren't going to survive.
However, someone got a brilliant idea: why not just get someone who has arms that can
actually reach inside the stomach of these dolphins?!
And that's when the oceanarium called on the world's tallest man, a man named Xi
Shun, to help with their baby dolphin dilemma.
He was able to get his 41.7-inch-long arm inside the dolphins stomachs and remove the
plastic, bit by bit, saving their lives!
8 - Make them walk longer Do you guys hate having to wait for checked
bags at the airport?
We definitely try to avoid checking a bag just because of having to wait!
A few years ago, the Houston airport got some minor restorations, and the airport started
getting hundreds of complaints.
You would think a new restoration would cut down on complaints, but no, the complaints
kept rolling in because of the increased amount of time passengers had to wait to get their
bags!
The airport executives thought the problem was because that there wasn't enough staff
working on a particular shift.
They hired more baggage handlers for the busiest times of the day.
This plan worked pretty well, but even so, the complaints kept coming in.
The executives were baffled, and it was time to call the experts in.
The consultants essentially found that the distance between the arrival gates and the
baggage claim was very short, and it took passengers only a minute to walk that distance.
If the time it took for workers to get the luggage from the plane to the baggage claim
was eight minutes, this meant passengers spent about 85% of their waiting time just standing
around waiting for their bags!
So what was the solution?!
Just make them walk longer!
They moved the arrival gates away from the main terminal and at the same time, they routed
the bags to the outermost carousel.
Problem solved: now it took passengers 6 and a half minutes to walk to their bags.
The complaints dropped to almost zero.
Pretty ingenious if you ask us!
7 - It bangs So you've probably have seen commercials that
advertise that some cleaning product is able to remove grease and grime without almost
any effort whatsoever.
It's almost magical, because at the end, there's always a happy person standing in a pristine
kitchen.
Well, maybe those ads weren't exaggerating after all.
Caithness Chemicals is a chemical company with a plant in Ireland that used to recycle
plutonium.
The plant hadn't been active since the '80s, but radiation just doesn't go away for a
lonnnnnng time.
Caithness chemicals had a team in charge of dismantling the plant, but plutonium was still
all over the place giving off radiation.
The normal chemical agents they used to decontaminate surfaces needed time to dry and slowed down
the demolition process significantly.
So one of the workers suggested a cleaner he had seen on TV, a cleaning product called
Cillit Bang.
Obviously, they were desperate, because the team actually tried it.
Surprisingly, it worked.
The cleaner was found to reduce levels of radioactive contamination remarkably well!
The cleaner had worked so well, its use also drew interest from operators of other nuclear
sites in the UK.
Who knew that a cheap household cleaner is capable of getting rid of radiation?!
6 - Mice with headaches Here's an interesting fact: Brown tree snakes
were accidentally introduced to Guam after the second world war.
A few of these snakes were inadvertently transported from the Solomon Islands to Guam on a cargo
plane.
The thing with brown tree snakes is that they're great predators.
Since coming to Guam, Brown tree snakes have made several of the island's native animal
species extinct!
Also, they reproduced like crazy, so brown tree snakes infested the island's jungles.
So what was the solution?
Over the years, U.S.
Government scientists have unsuccessfully tried many methods to get rid of the overpopulation
of these snakes with such things as traps and snake-detecting dogs.
However, these methods still didn't seem to make a dent.
Instead, one unusual method that was developed actually worked.
Brown tree snakes are one of the few species that'll eat prey they didn't grilled themselves!
So scientists began filling red mice with acetaminophen, aka Tylenol, and began dropping
these mice over the jungles.
The acetaminophen dose is just enough to induce a coma and eventually make the snake a goner,
but not enough to damage any other animals fatally.
Pretty clever, right?!
5 - MacGuyverd it You'd think that after hundreds of scientists
planned out every single detail, and made backup plans for backup plans, there's pretty
much no chance for things to go wrong in an outer space exploration mission.
Well, if there's anything Hollywood has taught us is that space is unexpected at best.
What happened at the International Space Station was something that would've made Steven
Spielberg proud.
And MacGyver, too.
The ISS is home to six astronauts, all highly trained.
The ISS is powered by four Main Bus Switching Units, and basically, one started to malfunction.
No big deal, they thought.
After all, that's what they've been trained to do.
But when they went outside to replace the unit, they found that the unit was stuck.
Metal shavings had accumulated around the bolts, making the unit impossible to dislodge.
None of their highly technical tools was the right fit, and the problem remained.
However, the next day, they ventured out to fix the issue: they had a plan with a can
of nitrogen gas... and a toothbrush.
Say what?!
With the help of these not-so-technological instruments, they were somehow able to get
the unit unstuck and replaced in no time.
In other good news, no astronaut had to sacrifice their oral hygiene to the mission... the toothbrush
was a spare!
4 - Just add balls This scenario that we're about to describe
sounds like a crappy ScyFy Original Movie plot, but it actually happened.
A while back, the Ivanhoe Reservoir in Los Angeles dropped over 400,000 balls in the
water to protect the water from the sun!
But wait, why did the water need sun protection?
At the Ivanhoe Reservoir, the water contains bromide and chlorine.
Bromide is an element naturally present in groundwater, so no big deal.
On the other hand, chlorine is a chemical used to kill bacteria.
Obviously, the reservoir's water is consumed by thousands of people, it's of course vital
that the water doesn't have much bacteria floating around.
Bromide and chlorine on their own aren't harmful, but the trouble apparently comes
when the two are mixed with sunlight.
As it turns out, this dangerous mix results in bromate, a known carcinogen.
Okay, got it, keep the sun away from the water.
But c'mon, how do you do that in sunny Los Angeles!
A tarp could've been used, but it would have been too expensive.
They thought of using a metal cover, but that would have taken too long to install.
So the execs at Ivanhoe Reservoir reached the only possible solution: They dropped 400,000
pitch black balls over the surface of the water, a solution that somehow worked!
3 - Where the sun doesn't shine Viganella is a tiny little village in the
Italian Alps.
When we say small, we mean small as in there are less than 200 people living there.
However, those people had a big problem.
This small town is sun-deprived!
The village was built in a deep valley, and the mountains surrounding it doesn't let
the sun rays get to the village for many months out of the year.
Some of the villagers claim that it gets as cold as Siberia, as the ice and snow never
get the chance to melt.
What's the solution?
They essentially needed a giant reflector!
With the help of all their neighbors, Viganella was able to place an eight-by-five meter sheet
of steel at the top of one of the mountains.
This giant mirror reflects the sun into the main piazza of the town in the months where
the sun stops shining.
Thanks to this new mirror, Viganella will have at least one ray of sunshine from November,
when the sun disappears, to February, when the sun finally reappears on its own!
Viganella's mirror is controlled by a remote system that allows it to move and follow the
sun's path.
The whole project cost only about 100,000 euros, financed mainly by the local authorities
and banks.
Not bad!
2 - Avoid earworms Make no mistake, earworms aren't parasites
that burrow their way into your ear to lay eggs in your brain.
But for all the pain they cause, they might as well be!
Earworms are bits of music your brain gets stuck on.
You see, our brains are like machines.
When they start a thought, brains want to finish it in order to move on.
But sometimes, brains just can't finish the thoughts.
And what do they do?
You guessed right, they start all over again.
Earworms are essentially broken pieces of melodies that your brain repeats over and
over and over again in the hopes of finishing.
Because you don't know the full song, your brain is never able to reach the end, and
it just starts over again.
Earworms are the worst because you can't get it outta your head!
Sooooo, how do you get rid of them?
The experts recommend several different tactics, but the gist is this: the only way to replace
an insistent thought is with another thought.
You can start by playing the most annoying song on youtube.
In most cases, listening to the song finishing will be enough.
If that doesn't work, try solving some tricky anagrams or sudokus.
Focusing on a difficult task will get your brain distracted from the melody loop.
1 - I can get you a toe by 3 James Byrne was 29 years old when he had a
terrible accident at work.
While sawing through a piece of wood, he severed his left thumb completely.
He was taken to the hospital immediately with his severed thumb of course.
Surgeons got to work right away trying to reattach Byrne's thumb to his hand.
But despite their hard work, blood wouldn't start flowing again into his thumb.
Byrne underwent months of treatment, but ultimately, his thumb had to be cut off for good.
Unfortunately for him, there was just no way to get blood flow back into his thumb.
That's when surgeon Umraz Khan, the doctor overlooking Byrne's case, had an idea.
He proposed to use Byrne's dominant toe to replace his missing thumb!
During an 8 hour procedure, Dr. Khan supervised two surgery teams.
One team was working on Byrne's left foot, removing the big toe.
The other team worked on Byrne's hand, attaching the toe they had just removed.
Although it was a complicated surgery, the surgery was a complete success!
Although James Byrne now has a toe-thumb on his hand now, he almost has regained full
movement in the thumb.
He's able to do all the things we take for granted, such as being able to use a pen,
or open a door.
Here's what's next!
