[게임으로 영어공부 #5] 넬슨 테더스: 퍼즐 에이전트 1 ( 호텔 앞 ) - Duration: 2:29.

I have no idea where my hotel is.

I might have to ask for directions.

Excuse me.

I'm Nelson Tethers, with the FBI's Department of Puzzle Research.

Hello?

Yep.

Okay... And you are?

Bjorn.

Bjorn?

Yep.

Nice to meet you, Mr. Bjorn.

Boy, those snowmobiles sure are a bumpy ride, eh?

Yep.

Can you give me directions to the nearest hotel?

I'm having a little trouble finding my way around.

You'd never get there. Roads are too slick.

Sir, I'm an Agent of the FBI's Puzzle Research Division.

It can't be harder than the puzzles I see every day.

That so?

It's really just a matter of trajection...

Okay, on the way to the hotel you're gonna pass two traffic lights...

Um... I must have gotten lost.

I thought your directions were taking me to the hotel.

They did.

I'm standing in front of the hotel, aren't I?

Yep.

Thanks a lot.

Welcome.

I'm here to investigate an incident at the Scoggins Eraser factory.

Do you know anything about it?

Nope.

Hotel's going to close soon...

Better check in if you're sticking around.

Seen any suspicious people hanging around the hotel lately?

Yep.

Really? Can you describe them?

Skinny. Asks lots of questions. Wears a stupid hat.

Thanks for the tip.

Yep.

Discovered a fence.

Board's all chewed up something terrible.

Could be the work of strays trying to get to the dumpsters back there.

I... don't know why I'm reporting this.

6 Relax Idioms (Chill Out, Veg Out, Hang Out) + Meanings - Duration: 5:56.

Hey, what does 'chill out' mean? What about 'veg out?' You see, relaxing is

so easy that English speakers have invented many ways to say that. And we're

going to talk about six of them today.

Chill out. I don't know where chill out came from, but when you freeze,

you're not moving. And molecules - the very small pieces that make up everything in

the universe - move slower when they are in cold weather conditions. And so, chill

out means to go slower... to relax. An example would be: 'Chill out. You're

working too hard.'

Veg out. What is that? Well, veg out comes from the medical

world. You see, when someone gets injured... maybe they get hit in the head really

hard, and they're in bed in the hospital, sometimes they are in a coma.

That means: you try to talk to them; you try to shake them; you try to put some

delicious food next to them; they don't respond. They just stay like they're

asleep... just breathing, right? And that means they are in a 'vegetative state.'

Does that sound a lot like vegetable? Vegetative state... vegetable? Yes. So, a

common slang when someone is in a coma, or they can't move, you would often say

they are a vegetable, because vegetables don't get up and walk around, but they

are living things, right? And so, if you ever hear the phrase

'I just want to veg out and watch TV,' this English speaker is taking relaxation to

the extreme. They're saying they want to sit still, not move, and just relax

without having to react or do anything.

Our next one is 'hang out.' Now hang out means that you are going to spend time

someplace. You're gonna spend time someplace... probably with your friends.

There is going to be no goals... no schedules... no pressures. The most

important thing is that you just spend time with your friends and enjoy it.

One example of that would be: 'Hey, I'm calling to see if you want to hang out

today.' Let your hair down. I may have covered 'let your hair down' in a

different video, but letting your hair down comes from women getting ready for

a fancy dinner party or work setting. It sometimes takes a lot of time in

preparation for women to get their hair ready. Women they take a long time to get

ready, am i right? right? right? So, let your hair down means that you are in a

comfortable environment where you don't need to do a whole lot of things in

order to present yourself in a respectable way, and you can just kind of

relax. It's casual. So, an example of this is: 'We're still working. So don't let your

hair down just yet.' Putting up your feet. Putting up your feet is the ultimate

sign of being in control of your environment and not having to do

anything for anyone. It often looks too carefree for some people, so you have to

be very careful about how you use putting your feet up when you actually

put your feet up. But, in speech, put your feet up is a phrase people used for

relaxing. Like: 'It's time for me to just put up my feet.'

And then we have 'zone out.' This is similar to 'space out. Zone out means that

you're doing something that fascinates you and you lose all sense of time. This

sensation can be very relaxing. Now space out is kind of the same thing, but you

space out by accident... often when you're bored, or you have a lot of work that you

have to repeat over and over again. Like, you're in a factory, just stamping things

over and over; if you're doing that for hours, it's easy to space out. But zoning

out is more intentional. We do this when we play a video game, or we watch a movie.

But sometimes it happens with repetitive tasks, too. And good! Because we need our

brain to focus on other things at the same time. An example would be, 'I was

driving for 300 miles, and around mile 200, I zoned out. So those are

six - count 'em - six different ways you can say that you are relaxing, or that

somebody else is relaxing. Did I miss any? Please tell me right down there in the

DIY, 3D PRINT: BEST HUMIDIFIER / FOG MACHINE / AROMATIZER (free plans) - Duration: 5:03.

Hi! In this video I will show you how to make a cheap air humidifier, aromatiser

or mist maker. I will make a simple enclosure and show you a time-lapse of

3D printing it. If you do not have a 3D printer, you can use any other

nice-looking box which can hold the liquid. Coming up!

Welcome to my youtube channel GreenEyedExplorer where I explore further and beyond about tweaks,

hacks, electronics and house repairs.

INTRO Nowadays air aromatizers are very

popular. In my country sellers are aware of it, so the prices start at 40€ and

can reach up to 150€. For a simple piezo element which oscillates at

certain frequency that is too expensive! As a handyman I decided to make my own.

At first I wanted to build oscillator from scratch, but shortly afterwards I

decided to buy the corresponding element and power supply as they cost only around

7€. This is way cheaper than building one. You can find the link to a

cheap, but good supplier in the description below or on my home page.

The one I have has a dry run protection. This means when the liquid evaporates, the

machine stops. As always, if you find this tutorial educational please hit LIKE

button below, SHARE this video with your friends, COMMENT below, if you want

more tutorials and have suggestions and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to my channel

and click the notification bell next to it. You can even support my work via

Patreon or buy me a coffee - as I like coffee. Well, let's start!

How does it work? The aromatizers work by oscillating the piezo element at

certain frequency. Piezo element is a crystal between two conducting plates

which deform under the voltage, so it makes the air or the water above it

vibrate. You may know them from sound playing greeting cards. It vibrates the

liquid, so that small micro droplets are formed. They are small enough to stay in

the air in the form of mist. If you want to know more about piezo elements

comment below.

The package. Let's see what I've received in the package.

I'll do the unpacking. It comes well packed. Declaration says it runs at 24V

up to 0.6A, which means 14.4W. Let's open it!

As you can see there is a round actuator with several color LEDs. I'll loosen the

cables. The cable length seems to be long enough. Actuator diameter is a bit less

than 5 centimeters or 2 inches. The power adapter is declared to supply 24V 1A.

All that said, let's test it!

It works! It makes magic mist and blows the

water in the air. We will need a high enclosure!

Design, assembly, testing.

I designed the enclosure in FreeCAD. We only need to measure a piezo element

diameter. I will show you a glimpse of my design.

You can find it on Thingiverse.com. The link is in the description below. On the

time-lapse you can see the first version. There is an elevated edge above

overhangs in the lower cup for the top part.

When finished, the top cup was

sunken in and the mist coming out was sparse. After testing I figured out the

bottom cup edge should be at the same level as the overhangs.

This yielded to the final version. Here you can see it.

This way there is no water spraying and the mist coming out is thick.

Another path I could have taken is to include a small fan, but this would have taken more parts and work.

I am keen on making things easier. The final design has 3D printed bottom

part which holds the glass above. Glass is transparent and it makes a prettier

final product. So, let's put parts together. Put the element and pull the

cable through the hole and plug in the rubber. You can use some silicone, if you

find it leaking. Now pour in some water and cover the device with glass.

Now let's see, how it works!

Thank you for watching and see you next time!
