there is an interesting story behind this single first it started with the
designing a guitar I got approached by a guitar company called Universum Guitars
to design a guitar for me and they make beautiful guitars and I thought well
it's an opportunity to make a perfect guitar the first time I played this
guitar it sounded very different for me than any other guitars I've ever played
and the first thing came to my mind it sounds like Jimi Hendrix Stevie Ray
Vaughan guitars very solid bluesy open strat sound and I started playing and I
had a bunch of inspiration ideas and one of those ideas became the song "For You"

every day, giving them plenty of disturbing ER stories.
From horrible accidents to psychotic patients, medical professionals deal with a lot in their
jobs.
They've seen stuff we couldn't even imagine and probably don't want to think about.
In many cases, these disturbing medical stories have pushed them to the edge, making it a
struggle to have faith in humanity.
We're going to warn you right here and now, many of these stories are very troubling and

One Redditor explained that his dad was a nursing student and had to bring in a woman
who acted out violently.
She flailed everywhere and then started attacking herself.
Eventually, she ripped out her own eye.
It hung out of the socket by the optic nerve as they were trying to restrain her.

An ER nurse attended to a young man who came in complaining of having flu-like symptoms
for three days.
He wasn't going to come in but started getting a weird rash.
Tragically, he was experiencing the end stages of bacterial meningitis.
Before long, he was bleeding out of the eyes and diminished quickly.
When he died, he was soaked in blood and had a purple and swollen face; he was completely
unrecognizable.

One man came into the ER complaining about having pain in his bottom and not being able
to sit down.
He said he had some kind of "foreign body" in his anus.
When they examined him, they found he had a stool leg up there.
He said he had accidentally fallen on it, and it had gotten stuck.
He told the nurses not to tell his wife.

According to one Redditor, a 500-pound man smelling like rotting flesh was admitted into
their ER.
They initially found him wasting away in a car and had to cut him out.
When they examined him, they found rotten and decayed flesh being eaten away by maggots.
The wounds were so big, his hip bones were showing.

One doctor tells of how a patient coming in with such bad breath, his wife had forced
him to come in.
Under the man's tongue was a small bump, which the patient said would come and go.
The bump looked like a small white head and told of an infection.
However, when the doctor went to make the incision to let it drain, no puss came out.
Instead he was met with something rock hard.
He then grabbed a small pair of forceps and pulled on the small white bump...and ended
up pulling out a 23 mm salivary duct stone!
Most salivary duct stones are smaller than 10 mm.

A woman came into the ER complaining of pain in her bottom, so the doctor, figuring it
was a lump or spot, asked her to take down her trousers so he could examine it.
When he bent down to look at the object, the object looked right back.
It was a very large worm.
He vomited and another doctor ended up fainting.

One ER doctor tells of a time a young woman who came in clutching her eye.
She was followed in by her friends, who were covering their mouths.
It turns out that she had stood behind someone while they were fishing.
The hook got caught in her eye!
Luckily for everyone involved, it was just hooked through her eyelid and the doctor was
able to numb her and pull it through.

One Redditor explained that they saw a patient that had a cyst was the size of a jawbreaker.
They had to end up lancing it, and once they did, it exploded with pus and made a squeaking
sound.

One Redditor said that paramedics brought in a 500-pound obese woman who had passed
out on her bed.
They had to bring her linens with her to find a way to move her.
Unfortunately, she died during a cardiac workup in the cath lab and was sent to the morgue.
During her clean up, they found a dead cat in one of her folds.
From them on, the cath lab was renamed "cat lab" until HR found out about it.

One nurse was doing chest compressions on a woman whose heart had stopped.
Unconscious and not breathing, they assumed the woman to be dead.
But, suddenly, with more chest compressions, she reached up and grabbed the nurse by the
wrists before falling back and never coming back.

When it's raining or cold outside, people rarely like to get out of their cars to run
into the ER.
So, one nurse explained, someone decided to just drive right through the sliding double
doors and park in the hospital entryway.
They might win the award for worst parking job ever.

A man came into the ER claiming his arm had come off in a farming accident.
The nurses didn't believe him since the man was only a little "out of it" and not in terrible
pain.
When he removed the blanket covering up his arm, the arm came right with it; he said,
"Told you so."

One ER staff member explained they once received a "pre-alert" that a patient had had a bad
auto accident and had collided with a fence.
Little did they know, when the patient was brought in, the fence would be coming with
them.
A fence post five inches across had gone through the right side of the ribs.
Fortunately, he survived the incident.

Diabetics need to be extra careful with their diet so they don't spike their blood sugar.
One patient was extremely overweight and diabetic, and no matter what the doctors and nurses
did, including watching her diet and giving her insulin, she would always have high blood
sugar.
Then, when they helped her change her gown, bits of fried rice and chicken wings fell
out.
They discovered her son had been sneaking in food and hiding it in her skin folds.

An emergency physician said he'd seen a lot of crazy things, but the most disturbing thing
was when a woman torn apart by dogs was brought to the ER.
Apparently, the woman's small dog had gone outside to meet the wild dogs outside, and
those dogs attacked the small dog.
The woman ran out to save her dog, but the wild dogs turned on her and tore her apart.
The paramedics still brought her body to the ER, but they declared her dead on the scene.

One Redditor was a nurse working in the dementia unit.
The first day on the job, they were helping an old lady with dementia.
She pointed out the window one time and said, "See those kids out there?
Aren't they beautiful?"
There were no kids out the window, but they went along with it.
Soon after, the woman said, "I didn't mean to burn them.
I didn't mean to kill my children."

One Redditor claiming to be a Safety and Security Officer at a public hospital said one woman
was regularly treated for trying to chew her lips off.
One night, she had to have her stomach pumped because she drank anti-freeze with her lip
tissue.

One Redditor's boyfriend was a paramedic who brought in a man who drank himself unconscious.
However, it turns out the man was a landscaper too poor to properly store his round-up, so
he put the herbicide in his empty beer cans and accidentally drank one of the cans of
round-up.
He died on the scene.

A nurse was having a patient sign paperwork and everything was fine until the patient
looked out the window.
She asked, "Did you see that?"
The nurse didn't see anything and the patient said, "A man just jumped out of a building."
Then she shook her head and said how her mind wasn't right anymore.

One Redditor claimed while they were a medical student on a psych rotation, they met a patient
who was a chemical graduate student who took too much ketamine.
He never spoke a word but hid under his covers like a mummy.
He chuckled anytime you tried to talk to him.
It was the creepiest laugh they had ever heard.

According to one Redditor, they were a tech in the psych department and a mother brought
her 7-year-old in.
She was sobbing and didn't know what to do with him.
He apparently would violently hit her and threaten to kill her.
He also had an obsession with knives, and she found many under his pillow.
On occasion, she'd find dead animals in her backyard as well.
When they tried to treat him, the boy would speak to them like a robot, like he was just
saying things because that's what they wanted.

A dental hygienist had an appointment for a boy to get a cleaning, but the mom said
he hadn't ever been to the dentist before.
That wasn't uncommon, but when the hygienist looked at the boy's teeth and gave him x-rays,
it was clear he'd had extensive dental work done, including many filings.
They asked the parents again if he had seen a dentist, and they were adamant he hadn't.
The mystery was never solved.

A former United States Army surgeon examined a patient who was having terrible kidney stones.
The pain was so excruciating, he didn't know what to do, so he stuck a class tube up his
urethra.
Making matters worse, a sudden movement ended up shattering the glass inside his urethra.

A physician working at the hospital in Minnesota saw a girl who complained of shoulder pain.
She had been playing with her brother, and they figured she might have just bruised or
broken something.
Instead, they discovered she had an arrowhead in her shoulder.
After pressing further, she admitted her brother shot her with an arrowhead but didn't want
to get him into trouble.
Fortunately, it didn't pierce her lung, and they were able to remove it.

While working in the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, one Redditor met a woman who came
in for an admissions interview.
She had bandages all over her arms and scotch tape over her mouth and ears.
When asked a question, the woman would peel the tape off, answer, and put it back on.
They found out that the woman felt and saw tons of bugs crawling all over her and was
afraid they would try to crawl inside of her.

How Cars Got Safe | WheelHouse | Donut Media - Duration: 8:15.

- Most new cars are already really safe from the factory.
Things like modern computers, combined with decades
of car design experience have made modern cars
safer than ever before.
But experience doesn't come without making mistakes.
And computers haven't always existed.
Were cars death boxes of metal in the early years?
Well...
(car screeching)
Yeah.
So how'd we go from unsurvivable death traps
to the cars we know today?
When the first automobiles arrived in the 1880s,
inventors like Karl Benz weren't concerned
about the safety of their creations.
Instead, these early vehicles focused on more
important things, like running around without falling apart.
And getting out of the poop stream of a horse.
(retching)
Just take a look at the Benz Patent-Motorwagen,
a very early motorized vehicle.
This thing is basically a bench on wheels,
with an engine strapped on for kicks.
By the early 1900s, more and more of the well-to-do
were purchasing cars to replace their horse and carriage.
Out of self-preservation, these early cars
had some concessions to safety, like brakes and lights.
But the brakes was just a stick with some wood
that pushed against your wheel and the lights
were less powerful than the one on your phone.
For the most part though, safety was left
in the hands of the automakers alone.
Some speed limits were imposed, but those were more or less
to look out for the people not in cars.
With few developed roads and rudimentary technology,
these early cars didn't often travel at high speeds anyway.
As the technology matured and companies like Ford
started to introduce more efficient construction methods,
more people could actually afford to buy cars.
This increase in drivers forced governments
to start building infrastructure, such as paved roads,
which did improve safety for drivers,
but automakers and safety equipment
were completely unregulated.
(musical horns blaring)
- [Announcer] May of 1945 saw the lights go on again.
- The second World War proved to be a reset button
for the car industry.
With no cars produced for almost five years,
automakers had to fill empty dealer lots
for the returning G.I.'s, anxious to spend their pay.
In designing these new models, developments from the war,
such as improved manufacturing and materials,
could be applied to the cars being built.
These improved materials made the car stronger and safer.
But for the most part, automakers returned to building
along the same formula as before,
with safety as an afterthought.
It wasn't long ago until the returning G.I.'s
began having families and wanted to protect those families.
This led many automakers to begin offering
optional safety equipment on their models.
Ford introduced optional lap belts, and Volvo introduced
the first three-point seat belt in 1959.
After seat belt legislation was introduced in the U.S.,
the ability to survive a crash uninjured increased by 40%,
and mild injuries decreased by 35%.
That's a big deal.
With seat belts, manufacturers figured they had done enough.
But a guy named Ralph Nader published a scathing report
in 1965 on the lack of safety, titled, Unsafe At Any Speed.
This was the book that killed the Corvair.
For a number of reasons, the Corvair had particularly
horrible safety statistics.
Some of this had to do with a unique design
that required underinflated tires for proper handling.
But the rest of the safety issues were just because
it was a car and cars weren't safe.
Nader's book took a deep dive into every aspect
of design that made the car unsafe.
What made the book revelatory, however,
(gentle music)
was the fact that Nader exposed the fact that
Chevy knew the car was unsafe and didn't make it safer
because making it safer would cost them money.
People didn't like the idea that companies
placed more value on profits than human life,
and soon, public demand forced government regulations,
regarding safety to be implemented in America.
Two short years after Unsafe At Any Speed,
the U.S. government formed
the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration,
and introduced the first
Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard.
These new requirements on automakers
selling cars in the U.S. coincided
with OPEC's 1973 oil embargo.
While it may seem that these two
would not influence one another,
the timing of these two events proved to have some
not great effects on the auto industry.
All that safety equipment, which weighed a ton,
combined with the miserly fuel-sipping engines
proved to create an entire decade of slow,
lethargic, 1970s American metal,
wearing terrible low-impact bumpers.
This period of malaise, which is what it's now called,
finally came to an end, thanks to the biggest thing
to happen to cars since cars.
(upbeat music)
By the 1980s, automakers had access to the levels
of computing power that would allow them
to digitally design a car and model its crash behavior
without having to actually build and crash an entire car.
Computer-aided design or CAD led to the development
of new ways to meet government regulations
on passenger vehicle safety.
The most impactful of these was the widespread adoption
of crumple zones.
Car companies build a super strong center cell
around the passenger compartment,
while designing the front and rear sections
to manage as much impact as possible.
This is still largely how we design
and build our cars today.
After a crash, cars can be absolutely mangled,
but the people who walk away
can survive relatively unharmed.
To prove that crumple zones worked, automakers started using
crash test dummies borrowed from the aerospace industry.
These dummies measured the force of impacts,
and while they showed that the center section
in the new construction method was sufficiently strong,
the restraints on the occupants were not.
This led to the introduction of passive restraints.
Or airbags.
Because a seat belt is always holding you,
and will be used no matter what in a crash,
it is considered active,
while the airbag is considered passive,
because it deploys only during a crash
and may not ever be used.
The design and testing methods pioneered in the 1980s
led to an exponential improvement in car safety,
that may not have been possible without computers.
In the 1990s and the early 21st century,
computers would continue to provide
the main increase in automotive safety.
But now, it's because the computers
are fitting inside the cars.
- [Narrator] A shadowy flight into the dangerous.
- In the beginning, computer-controlled driver aids
mainly consisted of anti-slip traction control systems.
They were primitive compared to modern technology.
But technology quickly increased
and cars today are safer than ever.
Systems like Tesla's Autopilot
and Cadillac's Super Cruise are hinting at the future.
Allowing the car to guide itself
using onboard sensors and computers
for short distances and times under certain conditions.
And the best part is that if your car kills you
in autopilot, you weren't paying attention,
so you died peacefully without any fear of imminent death
that wakes me every evening
in a cold sweat from my nightmares.
As these technologies increase, less and less
human intervention will be required.
This will not only make for a more relaxed
driving experience, but will also remove
the most unpredictable aspect of cars on the road,
humans.

Authentic Spanish Vegan Paella Valenciana Recipe - Duration: 4:16.
Being from Valencia Spain has its perks
you get to eat a lot of paella
I mean I've virtually eaten paella every sunday
for my entire life
so today I'm going to show you guys how to make
an Authentic Paella Valenciana
this is the original and classic one that's made with
chicken and rabbit
except we're going to turn it into a
Vegan Paella Valenciana
guys let me tell you
the flavor here is so authentic
that it's unreal
and it's just so good
your're not going to find a better
Vegan Paella Valenciana
than this one right here
we're going to start by cutting up all our ingredients
that way when we fire up the paella pan
this is going to be a breeze to make
now I'm going to replace the chicken and the rabbit
with this 8 ounce block of organic tofu
you want to make sure you pat down the tofu
with some paper towels
and get all that moisture out of it
then you want to cut it into cubes
that are about 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch
add the tofu to a bowl
add a drizzle of extra virgin Spanish olive oil
season generously with sea salt
and freshly cracked black pepper
and toss everything together
until it's well combined
next finely mince 4 cloves of garlic
then grab about 10 flat green beans
cut off the ends
and cut them into pieces that are about 2 inches long
and finally you want to reserve about
1/2 a cup of large lima beans
these are frozen and pre-cooked
if you can't find these in your area
just grab some large dried lima beans
and boil them for 20 minutes
ok we have all our ingredients cut
so let's start cooking our paella
I'm going to be using this authentic paella pan
guys seriously if you don't have one of these
you can use a large frying pan
I'm going to heat it with a medium-high heat
and add 1/3 cup of extra virgin Spanish olive oil
once the oil get's hot
I'm going to season it with a little sea salt
and then add the tofu into the pan
I'm going to cook it between 8 to 9 minutes
until it has a beautiful golden color
after 9 minutes I'm going to take the tofu out of the pan
and set it aside
next we're going to add our green beans into the pan
and we're going to cook these for about 3 minutes
then make a well in the middle
and add the minced garlic
30 seconds after adding the garlic
add a generous 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
and mix everything together
then add 1/2 a cup of tomato puree
and our 1/2 cup of lima beans
then season everything with sea salt
and mix it all together
3 minutes after adding the tomato puree
we're going to add the tofu back into the pan
and mix it all together
next I'm going to add 2 1/2 cups of vegetable broth
some saffron in powder form
or you can use saffron threads if your prefer
but whatever you do don't use imitation saffron!
give it all a gentle mix
and then add 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
once the broth comes to a boil
I'm going to add 1 cup of Spanish round rice
very important to use only round rice
when you're making a paella
then you want to gently mix it around
that way it's all evenly distributed
and after this point
we're not going to mix the rice anymore
you can just give the pan a quick shake once in a while
and about 10 minutes after adding the rice into the pan
we're going to lower the fire to a LOW-MEDIUM heat
ok its been about 3 minutes
the paella looks like it's almost done
so at this point I'm going to show you guys
how to make the socarrat
which is that beautiful burnt rice
in the bottom of the pan
so go ahead and heat it with a HIGH heat
and we're going to heat it for 2 minutes
after 2 minutes turn off the heat
cover the paella pan and set it aside
after leaving our paella to rest for about 5 minutes
it's ready to go
I can't wait to dive into this
I'm going to uncover it
then garnish it with a couple slices of lemon
and a sprig of fresh rosemary
ok now I'm going to give the paella a try
I'm going to get in there with a spoon
scrape the bottom of the pan a little bit
that way you guys can see the socarrat
and look how beautiful that came out
ok here I go...Salud!

I've had the authentic one with the chicken and rabbit
thousands of time in my life
this taste just like it
the only difference is
we swapped out the chicken and rabbit for the tofu
but I'm telling you the flavor is there

VogDuo Charger Pro Review! - Duration: 1:49.
Today I'm reviewing a product from a company called VogDuo and it's called Charger Pro.
Let me start off by talking about the size of the product.
It's so compact that it can literally fit in the palm of my hand as well as into my
pocket or in a small bag.
Due to its portability, I feel like I can take this product anywhere with me without
the hassle of an extra plug.
The build quality of this product is great.
It consists of hard plastics as well as a glossy finish to round it all off.
The charger pro comes with three USB ports which can charge up to three devices all at
once which I find really convenient especially if you are on the go.
In addition, the plug can swivel at 270 degrees for quick access to charge your devices really
fast.
You can get this product in three colours which are Black, Red and White.
However, there is one small problem.
If you live in the USA, you will be able to use this product with no problem, however
if you live anywhere besides the USA, you will have to buy an adaptor which is a bit
inconvenient.
You can currently buy this product straight from VogDuo or Amazon at a reduced price of
50 dollars.
