The youngest, I feel your soul

I'm the youngest music let's cover

Cover me like snow fall on your body

Slowly, as the kisses on the back flew

...

Jump party OK, move your ass, op, op.

Forget it for an hour, Tusa's creepy right now.

Dance, dance, time to spare-you need to run, babe!

And I remember everything, every detail, well then forget when you love so much?

Hands, eyes your the most the blue, mother, save me! Pride, forgive me!

You're such an awesome person who wants to cry, but I'm on mobile...

In our district there are rumors that I am your friend, - full nonsense.

Well, I fell in love with, well, quite a bit.You don't even think I miss you.

And I'm your joy, Oh, well, it is not necessary...

Do you remember the sky, remember dreams of silence

Young body in a blue blanket

Remember how we died in good-bye, the heart froze.

The pain screams inside me. A hundred reasons to forget you.

Light in the night and emptiness. Shut up - and all will reveal silence, within me...

It's not a girl, it is - trouble is I like it - never, never!

A strange girl, but I'm being led, I in another already never'll fall in love with.

It's not a girl, it is - trouble is,I like it - never, never!

I remember being crazy, everybody was against you and me.

You mate was screaming up in the morning,in my head darkness replaces the fog.Not shame on me...

Let's blow up with grenades so we don't have to look for someone to blame.

Girl my a small. My honey, sweetie.

My sweet daughter

I love you so much.

Your dark eyes, your lips are fresh.

You're addiction my lungs like nicotine.

She's my phobia, she's my mania.

She's my little girl, she's an anomaly.

In our district there are rumors that I am your friend, - full nonsense.

Well, I fell in love with, well, quite a bit.You don't even think I miss you.

And I'm your joy, Oh, well, it is not necessary.

For mom, I'm with my girlfriend, really not.

Hanging out at the apartment with some scraps.

Mom, I'm sorry - because girls don't drink;

Girls don't smoke and girls don't lie.

Take me home, we know who we are and who we are.

A lump in my throat stuck, the day was too stretched.

For mom, I'm with my girlfriend, really not.

Hanging out at the apartment with some scraps.

Mom, I'm sorry - because girls don't drink;

Girls don't smoke and girls don't lie.

The world in which we are drowning, the Unknown depth holes everywhere.

Let me get this straight, I can't.

The rhythms, pulsations, I have for you is in bloom. In a dream to Wake up.

All right, bro-hop.I'm dancing with you now, hopa.

And-and-and op. I'm dancing with you now, bitch.

One, two, three we learn to count.Summer vacation, motherfucker.

Dancing under the lantern, the music is so bawls

Speed does not sleep, we killed together

Dancing under the lantern, the music is so bawls

Speed does not sleep, we are dead...

We're clear.Tattoos clear.Cocktails black.

Your tattoo,do not give me rest.Your hands are sweaty, I'm definitely not myself.

My eyes hungry, I take you standing still, I so want you try on,walk me!

NOKIA - Why Did You Do That?!! - Duration: 2:31.

So Nokia is another company that is jumping on the notch bandwagon.

These are the live pictures of the Nokia X6 that is scheduled to launch in China.

As you can see it has a notch at the top of the display and I'm not too surprised since

almost every other manuufacturer is stupidly putting a notch on their phones including

big players like LG, OnePlus and even HTC is rumored to release a notched phone in the

coming months.

Right now, I think Samsung might be the only one who stands their ground on this.

These companies copying the notch has made Samsung's desings way more beautiful than

it already is.

It's sad that a legendary company like Nokia chose to opt for a design like this, which

almost every other Android phone is doing lately.

But then again, the Nokia X6 or whatever they're gonna name it is expected to be a China only

variant.

And I can understand why Nokia made a phone like this.

You see, people in China love iPhones and obviously iPhones are way expensive there

and most of them can't afford or don't want to spend over $1000 for the iPhone X, so people

just buy these notched phones and all sorts of copycats which looks like the X for about

1/4th of price.

Nokia knows that there's a huge demand for these type of phones in China and that could

be the reason we're seeing this design.

It's absolutely fine if it's a China exclusive and they don't bring it to the Europe, America

or anywhere else, unless Nokia doesn't mind losing some of there reputation.

Anyways, as you can see the phone looks like the Nokia 7 Plus from the back except the

flash is placed in between the camera and fingeprint scanner and these are the specs

of the device.

It is speculated that the device will launch in about 3 days from now so we'll see how

it turns out.

In the meantime, let me know your thoughts on Nokia jumping on the notch bandwagon in

the comments below and I'll see you'll tomorrow...Peace out!

How Many Merchants Can You Sell? - Merchant Services Sales Commission - Duration: 5:18.

Hi, my name is James Shepherd.

I'm excited to do this little mini-series on Merchant Services Sales Commission.

So we are going to be talking about how much money you can make in merchant services and

more importantly, what are the assumptions that are under-lying this idea?

I could easily tell you, "Hey, I know lots of merchants services sales reps that make

$100,000 a year.

I also know some that make $20,000 a year.

I also know some that make $300,000 a year."

It's easy to just talk about "Wow, you can make this, or you can make that, or you

could make a certain amount per sale," but really there are certain assumptions that

are used to create these projections of how much money you are going to make.

In this first video, I'm going to talk about the most important assumption.

I don't care which processor you sell for.

I don't care how long you've been in the industry.

I don't care what kind of compensation plan you have.

The number one criteria or assumption is "How many merchants can you sell?"

How many are you going to sell each and every month?

As we go through this mini-series, I'm going to be using a calculator that I built.

I'm really excited about this.

I'm actually giving it to you totally for free.

You don't even have to have an account at our website, or log in, or anything.

All you have to do is go to instantquotetool.com.

Go to instantquotetool.com and click on goals.

It's in the upper right hand corner in the navigation bar, depending on if you are mobile

or not.

You might have to do a drop down, but you are going to go to instantquotetool.com and

then you are going to click on goals.

That's going to take you to a little income calculator.

This income calculator is something I made a while back because I had so many sales people

that were asking me, "James, how much money can I make selling merchant services?"

My answer to that question was like, "Well, you know.

I don't know.

How hard are you going to work?

What is your closing rate going to be?

How are you going to prospect?

What does the processor pay?"

There are so many variables.

Let's jump right in, in this first video and talk about how many merchants can you

sell?

Specifically, we are talking about that very first box.

Right there where it says, "Sales per month – year one."

In other words, the question we are going to answer in this video is how many sales

can you make per month your first year selling merchant services?

Well, in my experience, I'm going to give you these 3 criteria that are going to show

an average merchant services sales rep.

When I say an average merchant services sales rep is going to make X number of sales per

month, here is what I mean by that.

#1.

I mean that you are going to work full time in this business, and more specifically I

mean you are going to walk into 20 businesses a day, where you have not yet spoken to a

decision maker.

You are going to walk into 20 businesses a day, where you have not yet spoken to a decision

maker.

If you do that, that is full time.

#2.

You have gone through training.

You understand merchant services a little bit.

A guidepost, you are already at instantquotetool.com; click on training.

It's right next to goals in the nab bar.

Click on training and you will see some courses there.

It would probably take you a week or so to get through all of those courses.

You need to be trained.

If you are trained and you are going full time into the business.

#3.

You have some idea how to sell.

You are a good sales person.

An average merchant services rep walking into 20 businesses a day, where they have not yet

spoken to a decision maker, which is what you can easily do, if you are full time.

It will take you between one to two hours to walk into 20 businesses, maybe three hours

at the most.

You are trained.

You understand merchant services.

You've gone through some training like my courses I have at instantquotetool.com, or

something comparable.

You have those two kind of building blocks.

If you have that and you know how to sell and you can close at a reasonable rate, you

are going to make 12 sales per month on average as a merchant services sales rep.

In that little box at the top, I have 8 because I tried to make it really conservative by

default.

Go ahead and change that 8 to a 12 and look at what that does to your first year income.

It is pretty significant.

We are going to talk more about that in a little bit, but that first box we want to

take that from 8 up to 12.

You say, "Well, James, I'm an amazing sales person.

I'm the best sales rep I've ever met.

I close really high.

How many sales am I going to make?"

Well, you are probably going to make somewhere around 20 sales.

The idea is if you walk into 20 businesses every day, where you've never spoken to

a decision maker yet, you are probably going to be on pace to make one sale a day, if you

are a really, really good sales person.

If you are an average sales, person, you are going to lose a couple of those deals, that

maybe the best sales person would have sold an extra two.

You are going to lose those two.

You are only going to sell three a week.

Instead of selling five a week, you are only going to sell three a week.

So instead of 20, you are going to get 12.

If you say, "James, I'm not a great sales person."

Then you are probably going to close somewhere around 8 to 10.

Because your closing rate is going to be a little lower.

Then you say, "What about if I'm part time?"

If you are part time, it's really simple.

I said you are walking into 20 businesses a day, where you have never spoken to a decision

maker.

That's going to get you 12 sales.

If you are walking into 10 a day, that's going to get 6 sales a month.

Right?

If you walking into 5 a day, that's going to get you 3 sales a month.

Hopefully, you can use those metrics to put that first box in there.

Then in the next one, we are going to move on to the next two boxes and talk in the next

video about how many sales can you make per month after that first year.

So let's go ahead and jump into that next video.

Joseph James DeAngelo's Mother & Father: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | SML TV - Duration: 12:28.

Joseph James DeAngelo's Mother & Father: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Newspaper archives Joseph James DeAngelo Sr.

Joseph James DeAngelo Jr., who stands accused of being one of the most notorious serial killers in United States' history, comes from a military family and was a child of divorce.

DeAngelo's brother, father, and uncle were wounded in military conflicts, and the suspect served in Vietnam.

Old newspaper articles from the 1940s, ancestral records, and obituaries help flesh out the background of the man accused of being the Golden State Killer, who was also called the Original Night Stalker and East Side Rapist due to the campaign of terror he inflicted on California in the 1970s and 1980s.

Altogether, at least 13 people lost their lives and 45 women were raped by the Golden State Killer.

DeAngelo has been charged in four of the deaths.

When the killer was unmasked, authorities say he was a 72-year-old Vietnam vet, father of three, grandfather, and ex-cop who worked at a grocery store distribution center in the Sacramento, California area.

Joseph DeAngelo's mother was named Kathleen DeGroat DeAngelo and later took the name Kathleen Bosanko when she remarried.

DeAngelo's father was named Joseph James DeAngelo Sr., and he hailed from Watkins Glen, New York.

Here's what you need to know about the suspect's parents:.

Joseph DeAngelo's Father Was an Airman in World War II Who Died in South Korea.

Joseph James DeAngelo Jr.

graduated from Folsom High School and California State University, Sacramento, according to old newspaper articles.

However, both he and his parents were originally from New York.

The wedding announcement for DeAngelo Jr.

and his now estranged wife, Sharon Huddle, states that DeAngelo's parents were Mrs.

Jack Bosanko of Garden Grove and Joseph J.

DeAngelo of Korea.

According to a 1973 newspaper article from The Exeter Sun, DeAngelo was born in Bath, New York, and his mother's name was Kathleen.

She died in 2010, and his father died in South Korea in 1995, although the circumstances of the latter's death are not clear (the social security death index gives his place and date of death as "15 Feb 1995 Apo, Armed Forces – Pacific.").

According to an old newspaper article from 1944 in the Star-Gazette, the suspect's father, Sgt.

Joseph DeAngelo, was awarded seven clusters to the Air Medal for meritorious achievement.

His 15th Army Air Force unit holds a presidential citation for the "low level attack on the Ploesti oil fields in Romania," the old newspaper article states.

"The top turret gunner received the decorations in a ceremony on an Italian airfield.

He has flown in raids on targets in Italy, France, Austria and Germany.".

DeAngelo's father, then of Bath, New York, was wounded in action over Australia.

He was serving with the Army Air Force as a gunner on a B-24 bomber.

He had entered the service in April 1942 and was trained at the Biloxi Air Base in Biloxi, Mississippi.

He left the United States with a combat group in 1943, according to another archived news article.

At the time, he and his wife had a 17-month-old daughter, the newspaper article stated.

This is the wedding announcement for the suspect's parents, who were married in a Baptist Church in 1941 in New York.

His mother was the daughter of Mr and Mrs.

Charles DeGroat, and his father was the son of Mr and Mrs.

Samuel DeAngelo (His mother's name was Mary DeAngelo, and ancestral records show she was an Italian immigrant).

It's not clear when the suspect's parents split up.

DeAngelo Jr. was born in November 1945.

In 1949, his parents had another son, according to a newspaper birth announcement.

Joseph DeAngelo's Mother Was Remembered as a 'Beautiful Person & a Wonderful Mother.

The obituary for Kathleen Louise Bosanko says she was 87 when she died in 2010 and left behind four children, one of whom was Joe DeAngelo.

"She was a beautiful person and a wonderful Mother," the obituary says.

Her headstone refers to her as "Ramblin Rose," although it's not clear why.

According to the Sacramento Bee, DeAngelo had a brother, and his mother worked as a waitress at Denny's.

Her new husband, Jack Bosanko, served in the Navy in World War II, according to burial records.

They married in Tulare, California.

Bosanko was known as "Kay.

Kathleen's obituary says she was survived by four children, two daughters and two sons, including Joe DeAngelo.

She was close to her three grandchildren, all daughters, from DeAngelo Jr., the obit says.

She was preceded in death by "her beloved husband Jack as well as her parents, two brothers and 2 sisters," the obituary reads, concluding with this quote: "Our love for you will never die and you will be held so close to our hearts and will be so greatly missed.".

An Uncle Is Buried in Arlington Cemetery & DeAngelo Jr.

& His Brother Served in the Vietnam War.

Burial records show that DeAngelo's father's brother was a World War II and Korean War veteran who is buried at Arlington National Cemetery and received the Purple Heart.

An old newspaper article reported that the suspect's brother was injured in the Vietnam War and hospitalized in Guam.

By that point, 1971, Kathleen was Kathleen Bosanko and living in Auburn, California, with her husband Jack.

An artilleryman, DeAngelo Jr.'s brother lost a finger in the Vietnam conflict.

After graduating from Folsom High in 1964, DeAngelo Jr., the suspect, served in the Vietnam War.

DeAngelo worked as a police officer in Exeter, California in the early 1970s, and he worked for the Auburn Police Department through the late 1970s, although he was fired in 1979 "after he was charged with stealing a hammer and dog repellent from a Citrus Heights drug store," The Auburn Journal reported.

An archived 1967 article from a California newspaper shows that Joseph J.

DeAngelo Jr. served in the U.S.

Navy as a a damage controlman 2nd class on the USS Canberra, which was "expected to dock at San Diego … following service on the gun line off North Vietnam." Another article reported that he completed basic training in December 1964.

DeAngelo Moved to California With His Mother & Stepfather When He Was a Teen.

According to The Sacramento Bee, a former neighbor named Doug Burgarel said that DeAngelo moved to rural Auburn, California with his mother and stepfather when he was a teenager.

"DeAngelo's stepfather worked for Burgarel's father at Sierra Crane and Hoist as a welder making indoor overhead cranes," reported the newspaper.

His sister, Rebecca Thompson, told The Bee that she was shocked by his arrest, saying, "As stunned as I am – because I've never seen him display any kind of madness or anything like that – I just can't believe it.

I've never seen anything to allow myself to think he could do such things.".

The Suspect Is Estranged From His Wife & Has Three Daughters.

DeAngelo was married in 1973 to his only wife, Sharon Huddle, a Sacramento-area lawyer from whom he is estranged.

They had three daughters together, one of whom is a doctor and one of whom is a graduate student at a California university.

The wedding announcement says that the Auburn First Congregational Church served as the setting for the marriage of Sharon Marie Huddle and Joseph James DeAngelo Jr.

It states that she is the daughter of Mr and Mrs.

Simple Ideas for Adjusting Patient Education Based on Patient Needs - Duration: 1:50.

Hi.

I'm Lori Boyer, and welcome to SolutionTeach: Patient Education.

Today we're talking about the importance of targeting your education to individual

patients.

Listen to this true story for a minute, and don't worry, the names have been changed!

A woman named Jill went to the doctor.

The nurse noticed that she was taking birth control, and asked her a little bit about

when she takes them.

Jill responded that some days she takes three pills and some days she doesn't take any.

The nurse, a little confused at this point, asked Jill how the doctor had told her to

take them.

Jill explained, "Well, he said the pills were to keep me from getting pregnant

when I have sex, so I take them anytime I have sex."

You can see the problem.

Part of the issue here was that Jill only read at a 2nd grade level, and she's not

alone.

Did you know that more than 50% of US adults have literacy problems?

To help patients who don't have the best reading skills, it's a great idea to have

visual aids or hands-on activities available for instruction, and not just pamphlets.

It's important that you keep in mind the physical, mental or emotional challenges of

each specific patient as well as their age, cultural beliefs, and their experience with

the healthcare world.

Each of these elements may change the way you educate that patient.

If you want some other tips on how to improve your communication with your patients, check

out the link in the description.

And don't forget to join us next time as we are going to be discussing ways to find

out what your patients already know.

Blessed, Broken and Given - Part 2 - Enjoying Everyday Life - Duration: 28:34.

ANNOUNCER: THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN MADE POSSIBLE BY

THE FRIENDS AND PARTNERS OF JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES.

JOYCE: RATHER THAN JUST TOTALLY SURRENDERING OURSELVES

TO GOD AND SUBMITTING OURSELVES TO HIM AND HIS PLAN, WE HOLD

BACK AND WE HOLD BACK.

SO WE'VE GOT ALL THIS BIG JESUS INSIDE OF US, AND WE GO TO

CHURCH EVERY WEEK.

WE GET A LITTLE MORE WORD AND WE GET A LITTLE BIT MORE FATTER AND

PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT,

PREGNANT, PREGNANT.

AND SO THEN WE JUST SIT ON THE CHURCH PEWS AND GRUMBLE

AND COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT'S GOIN' ON AROUND US.

AND IT'S ONLY BECAUSE WE'RE NOT GIVING BIRTH TO WHAT GOD

HAS PUT IN US.

[MUSIC]

JOYCE: LET'S LOOK AT LUKE CHAPTER 15, BEGINNING IN

VERSE 12, THE STORY THAT WE CALL THE PRODIGAL SON.

VERSE 11 SAYS, "AND THERE WAS A MAN--A CERTAIN MAN WHO HAD

TWO SONS; AND THE YOUNGER OF THEM SAID TO HIS FATHER, FATHER,

GIVE ME--" NOW IF YOU HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH

WRITING IN YOUR BIBLE, I WOULD LIKE YOU, IF YOU HAVE

A PEN IN YOUR HAND, TO DRAW A CIRCLE AROUND "GIVE ME."

"FATHER, GIVE ME THE PART OF THE PROPERTY THAT FALLS [TO ME].

AND SO THE FATHER DID AND HE DIVIDED THE ESTATE BETWEEN

THE TWO SONS.

AND NOT MANY DAYS AFTER THAT, THE YOUNGER SON GATHERED UP ALL

THAT HE HAD AND JOURNEYED INTO A DISTANT COUNTRY, AND THERE HE

WASTED HIS FORTUNE IN RECKLESS AND LOOSE

[FROM RESTRAINT] LIVING."

NOW, YOU KNOW, I WONDER SOMETIMES--WELL, I DON'T WONDER

'CAUSE I REALLY KNOW WHY HE DID IT.

BUT IT'S INTERESTING TO ME THAT THE SON ASKED FOR WHAT HE REALLY

HAD NO BUSINESS HAVING, WHAT HE REALLY WAS NOT MATURE ENOUGH

TO HANDLE AND YET THE FATHER GAVE IT TO HIM.

AND I THINK IT'S BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY THE YOUNG MAN

WAS GONNA LEARN HIS LESSON.

HAVE YOU EVER JUST BEGGED GOD FOR SOMETHING AND HE FINALLY

GAVE IT TO YOU AND AFTER HE DID YOU THOUGHT, "MAN, THIS AIN'T

WHAT I WANTED AT ALL"?

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "I THOUGHT I WANTED THIS, BUT THIS JUST IS NOT

WORKING OUT.

I WISH I WOULD HAVE LET GOD MAKE THE CHOICE AND SAID, GOD,

YOU GIVE ME WHAT YOU WANT ME TO HAVE."

AMEN?

VERSE 14, "AND WHEN HE HAD SPENT ALL HE HAD, A MIGHTY FAMINE CAME

UPON THAT COUNTRY, AND HE BEGAN TO FALL BEHIND AND BE IN WANT.

SO HE WENT AND HE FORCED AND HE (GLUED) HIMSELF UPON ONE OF

THE CITIZENS OF THAT COUNTRY, WHO SENT HIM INTO HIS FIELDS

TO FEED HOGS.

AND HE WOULD GLADLY HAVE FED ON AND FILLED HIS BELLY WITH

THE CAROB PODS THAT THE HOGS WERE EATING, BUT [THEY COULD NOT

SATISFY HIS HUNGER AND] NOBODY GAVE HIM ANYTHING ANY [BETTER].

THEN WHEN HE CAME TO HIMSELF--" I LOVE THAT, HE CAME TO HIMSELF.

LET'S HAVE A COME TO SELF GATHERING.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: HOW MANY MORE NIGHTS DO YOU WANT TO SPEND WITH

THE FROGS?

HOW MANY MORE PIGPENS DO YOU WANT TO LIVE IN?

YOU SAY, "WHAT'S WITH THE FROGS?"

WELL, WHEN THE PLAGUES WERE COMING ON EGYPT, ONE OF THEM

WAS FROGS.

THEY HAD FROGS EVERYWHERE.

THERE WAS FROGS IN THE BREADBASKET, FROGS IN THE OVEN,

FROGS IN THE DRIVEWAY, FROGS IN THE PALACE, FROGS IN THEIR BEDS.

I MEAN THE BIBLE IS EXPLICIT ABOUT ALL THE PLACES WHERE

THE FROGS WHERE, EVERYWHERE.

EVERYWHERE FROGS, FROGS, FROGS, FROGS, FROGS.

AND SO PHARAOH SAID, "YOU GOTTA GET RID OF THESE FROGS, MOSES.

GET RID OF THE FROGS AND I'LL LET THE PEOPLE GO."

AND MOSES SAID, "WHEN DO YOU WANT ME TO PRAY FOR YOU?

I WILL PRAY AND THE FROGS WILL LEAVE.

WHEN DO YOU WANT ME TO PRAY?" AND PHARAOH SAID, "TOMORROW."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: NOW I ASK YOU, WHY WOULD ANYBODY WANT TO SPEND

ONE MORE NIGHT WITH THE FROGS?

IF YOU CAN GET RID OF THEM TONIGHT, WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO

SLEEP WITH THEM ONE MORE NIGHT?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: IS ANYBODY TIRED OF LIVING WITH FROGS?

WHATEVER YOUR FROG IS, YOU CAN NAME IT.

I KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LIVE IN THE PIGPEN OF LIFE.

WHEN I THINK ABOUT WHAT GOD HAS DONE IN MY LIFE, OH, GOSH.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: OH LORD, HAVE MERCY.

HOW MANY OF YOU FEEL THE SAME WAY?

MY, MY, MY, MY, MY, MY, MY.

I CANNOT FATHOM WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO BE IN THE WORLD THAT WE

HAVE TODAY AND NOT KNOW JESUS.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I MEAN THAT WOULD JUST BE AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE.

SO "THEN HE CAME TO HIMSELF," VERSE 17, "AND HE SAID, HOW MANY

HIRED SERVANTS OF MY FATHER HAVE ENOUGH FOOD, AND [EVEN FOOD] TO

SPARE, BUT I'M PERISHING (DYING) HERE OF HUNGER!

I AM GONNA GET UP AND GO TO MY FATHER, AND I WILL SAY TO HIM,

FATHER, I HAVE SINNED AGAINST HEAVEN AND IN YOUR SIGHT.

AND I AM NO LONGER WORTHY TO BE CALLED YOUR SON; NOW [JUST]

MAKE ME--" DRAW A CIRCLE AROUND "MAKE ME,"

'CAUSE SEE YOU'RE GONNA MISS THIS WHOLE THING IF YOU

DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THESE TWO PHRASES.

"MAKE ME LIKE ONE OF YOUR HIRED SERVANTS.

SO HE GOT UP AND HE CAME TO HIS FATHER," WHO WHILE THE YOUNG MAN

WAS STILL A LONG WAY OFF SAW HIM COMING, PREPARED A FEAST,

PREPARED A ROBE, GOT SANDALS FOR HIS FEET, GOT HIM A GREAT RING,

PLANNED A BIG PARTY AND WAS SO GLAD TO HAVE HIM BACK.

BUT HE WENT FROM "GIVE ME" THROUGH THE PIGPEN TO

"MAKE ME ONE OF YOUR SERVANTS."

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: "GIVE ME, GIVE ME MY MONEY.

GIVE ME WHAT I WANT."

DON'T EVEN ASK GOD TO--YOU KNOW, JUST SAY, "GOD, YOU GIVE

ME--THIS IS WHAT I THINK I WANT, GOD, BUT YOU GIVE ME WHAT YOU

KNOW I'M READY TO HANDLE."

YOU DON'T EVER HAVE TO WORRY, GOD'S NOT GONNA HOLD OUT ON YOU.

I WANT THIS MINISTRY TO BE HOWEVER BIG IT CAN BE AND ME

STILL STAY SANE AND KEEP GOD FIRST IN MY LIFE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I DON'T WANT ANYTHING THAT'S GONNA TAKE ME AWAY

FROM GOD.

AND BELIEVE ME, SOMETIMES WE CAN PRAY FOR THINGS AND THEN THOSE

VERY THINGS CAN TAKE US AWAY FROM GOD BECAUSE WE START PAYING

MORE ATTENTION TO THEM THAN WE DO GOD.

IT'S LIKE A MARRIED COUPLE, THEY HAVE A CHILD AND NOW ALL OF

A SUDDEN THE MOTHER FORGETS THE HUSBAND AND ALL SHE CARES

ABOUT IS THE CHILD.

WELL, I CAN GUARANTEE YOU, HE'S NOT GONNA WANT HER TO HAVE

ANY MORE BABIES.

AND THAT'S WHY GOD CHECKS US OUT A LITTLE BIT AT A TIME,

A LITTLE BIT AT A TIME.

I'VE BEEN AT THIS 37 YEARS.

I DIDN'T JUST WAKE UP ONE MORNING AND ROLL OUT OF BED

AND HAVE THIS HUGE MINISTRY.

GOD CHECKS YOU OUT IN LEVELS AND DEGREES.

AND IF YOU CAN BE FAITHFUL HERE OVER A LITTLE, THEN HE'LL MAKE

YOU RULER OVER A LITTLE BIT MORE.

AND THEN YOU'RE FAITHFUL THERE FOR A WHILE, AND THEN YOU'RE

RULER OVER A LITTLE BIT MORE.

HE WENT FROM "GIVE ME" TO "MAKE ME," BUT IT TOOK A CIRCUMSTANCE,

COME ON NOW, TO GET HIM THERE.

YOU KNOW, I BELIEVE THAT WE ARE PREGNANT WITH GOD'S NATURE.

WE'RE LITERALLY PREGNANT WITH GOD'S NATURE.

NOW I NEED A LITTLE HELP IF I CAN GET IT.

DO WE HAVE ANY PREGNANT LADIES HERE TODAY?

IF YOU'RE PREGNANT, LIFT YOUR HAND UP.

COME ON, IF YOU'RE PREGNANT, NICE AND HIGH,

LIFT YOUR HAND UP, OKAY.

I NEED--OKAY, I NEED SOMEBODY THAT'S JUST BARELY

PREGNANT.

YOU'RE NOT EVEN REALLY SHOWING YET.

COME ON, BE BOLD.

COME AND HELP ME.

COME ON, IF YOU'RE BARELY PREGNANT.

I WON'T MAKE YOU SAY ANYTHING.

AND I NEED YOU.

I NEED SOMEBODY THAT'S LIKE READY TO DELIVER ANY MINUTE.

WE HAVE ANYBODY THAT'S LIKE--DO WE HAVE ANYBODY THAT'S JUST LIKE

SO PREGNANT YOU'RE ABOUT TO POP?

COME ON, ANYBODY.

STUFF A PILLOW UNDER YOUR SHIRT OR--OOH, YOU'LL DO.

COME ON, YOU ARE WONDERFUL.

YES, BRING THEM UP HERE.

BRING THEM UP HERE.

COME ON.

ALL RIGHT, YOU GUYS ARE DOING GOOD.

ALL RIGHT, NOW HERE, JUST STAND RIGHT HERE AND TURN YOUR BELLY

TOWARD THE CROWD, OKAY.

WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO WORK YOU AROUND A LITTLE BIT.

COME HERE, THIS IS GOOD.

THIS WILL WORK, COME HERE.

RIGHT HERE, RIGHT HERE.

RIGHT THERE.

WOULD YOU TAKE THE SHIRT OFF?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: OKAY NOW, ALL RIGHT, NOW LOOK THE BIBLE SAYS IN

1 JOHN 3:9 THAT WHEN WE'RE BORN AGAIN, THE DIVINE SPERM OF

GOD COMES INTO US BRINGING US THE NATURE OF GOD.

HE'S LOOK AT 1 JOHN 3:9 WHILE THEY JUST STAND THERE AND LOOK

CUTE FOR A MINUTE.

PLEASE LOOK AT THIS, "NO ONE (BEGOTTEN) OF GOD [DELIBERATELY,

KNOWINGLY, AND HABITUALLY]

PRACTICES SIN."

IT DOESN'T SAY THAT YOU DON'T SIN.

IT SAYS YOU DON'T LIVE IN SIN.

WHY?

BECAUSE GOD'S NATURE ABIDES IN HIM.

HIS PRINCIPLE OF LIFE, THE DIVINE SPERM, JESUS IS

THE DIVINE SPERM OR THE SEED OF ALMIGHTY GOD.

AND WHEN WE'RE BORN AGAIN, THAT SEED, IF YOU WILL, IS PLANTED IN

THE WOMB OF OUR SPIRIT, NO DIFFERENT THAN THE SEED OF THESE

GIRLS' HUSBANDS WERE PLANTED IN THEIR WOMBS AND THEY ARE NOW

PREGNANT WITH THE BABY'S FATHER'S CHILD.

NOW LOOK.

NOW JUST HANG ON.

I MEAN YOU'D NEVER KNOW SHE WAS PREGNANT.

THIS IS WHAT WE'RE LIKE WHEN WE'RE FIRST BORN AGAIN.

IT'S LIKE, "YEAH YOU WHAT?

YEAH, WELL YOU DON'T LOOK ANY DIFFERENT TO ME.

YOU SURE DON'T LOOK PREGNANT."

BUT SHE KNOWS SHE'S PREGNANT AND SHE'S EXCITED ABOUT

BEING PREGNANT.

AND SHE'S ALREADY MAKING PLANS FOR THE BABY THAT NOBODY ELSE

EVEN BELIEVES YET THAT SHE'S GONNA HAVE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: OKAY, NOW YOU STICK WITH IT A LITTLE WHILE AND THEN

PRETTY SOON YOU START TO SHOW A LITTLE BIT.

AND SOME OF YOU BEEN HANGING OUT WITH JESUS LONG ENOUGH NOW

YOU'RE STARTING TO SHOW A LITTLE BIT.

COME ON, I LOVE THIS EXAMPLE.

YOU'RE KIND OF LIKE--I MEAN PEOPLE ARE SAYING, "WELL, YOU

KNOW MAYBE SOMETHING IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT WITH YOU.

YEAH, YOU'RE NOT QUITE LIKE YOU USED TO BE."

HANG OUT A LITTLE BIT LONGER AND THEN, MAN, YOU'RE LIKE,

YOU'RE REALLY STARTING TO SHOW.

THEY'RE LIKE, "WOW, THERE'S SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

YEAH, SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO YOU, HMM.

WOW."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: NOW I HAPPEN TO BE A WOMAN WHO CARRIED ALL

MY BABIES 10 MONTHS.

YES, I'M NOT PROPHESYING THAT ON YOU, SWEETHEART.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: WHEN IS YOUR BABY DUE?

FEMALE: JULY 22ND.

JOYCE: JULY 22ND OKAY SO, BUT WE'RE JUST GONNA PRETEND FOR

A MINUTE THAT SHE'S OVERDUE, THAT SHE'S BEEN DUE

AND NOW SHE'S OVERDUE.

AND SO THE LONGER YOU STAY PREGNANT, THE MORE UNCOMFORTABLE

YOU GET.

AND YOU FINALLY JUST--COME ON, WALK WITH ME AND HELP ME.

YOU FINALLY JUST KIND OF GET TO THE POINT WHERE YOU'RE JUST

LIKE, "IF I DON'T HAVE THIS BABY PRETTY SOON, I DON'T THINK

I CAN STAND IT."

AMEN?

YEAH, SHE'S LIKE--SHE SAID WHEELCHAIR, THAT'S RIGHT, SO.

NOW HERE'S WHAT I THINK, I THINK PEOPLE

IN THE BODY OF CHRIST AT LARGE ARE PREGNANT AND OVERDUE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU SAY, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"

I BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE BEEN PREGNANT WITH THE NATURE OF GOD

LONG ENOUGH AND NOW IT IS TIME TO BEAR DOWN AND GIVE BIRTH

AND START WALKING IN LOVE SO THE WORLD CAN SEE WHAT WE HAVE.

THANK YOU, GIRLS.

THANK YOU.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NOW, LET ME TELL YA, WHEN I CARRIED MY BABIES

10 MONTHS, I WAS NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.

AND CAN I TELL YOU SOMETHING THAT IS JUST RIDICULOUS?

THERE ARE SO MANY UNHAPPY CHRISTIANS.

WHAT DOES A CHRISTIAN HAVE TO BE UNHAPPY ABOUT?

YOU'RE NOT GOING TO HELL.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: NO MATTER WHAT'S GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE, YOU HAVE HOPE

OF CHANGE.

NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU MESS UP, GOD IS ALWAYS THERE

TO GIVE YOU A FRESH START.

HE SAYS, "I'LL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU, BUT I AM WITH

YOU ALWAYS, EVEN UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD.

I WILL PROVIDE FOR YOU.

I WILL HELP YOU.

I WILL GIVE YOU MY POWER."

YOU'RE ALREADY JUSTIFIED, REDEEMED, MADE RIGHT, SEATED IN

HEAVENLY PLACES WITH CHRIST.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: WHAT DO WE HAVE TO BE UNHAPPY ABOUT?

"WELL, MY CIRCUMSTANCES."

WELL, WHY DON'T YOU JUST TRY THIS, "YOU KNOW, GOD,

THIS HURTS SO BAD.

I REALLY WISH IT WASN'T GOING ON.

I DON'T GET IT, BUT I'M GONNA TRUST YOU THAT YOU'RE GONNA

REMOVE THIS WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT AND UNTIL THEN, GOD, JUST

USE IT TO DO SOMETHING WONDERFUL IN ME."

LET'S JUST GET SOME VALUE OUT OF THIS IF WE CAN WHILE WE'RE GOING

THROUGH IT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: AND YOU KNOW GOD DOESN'T HAVE TO BRING SOMETHING

INTO YOUR LIFE IN ORDER FOR YOU TO GET VALUE OUT OF IT WHILE

YOU'RE GOING THROUGH IT.

I'M NOT SAYING THAT GOD BRINGS A BUNCH OF BAD STUFF

INTO OUR LIFE.

I DO BELIEVE THERE ARE TIMES WHEN GOD PUTS US PLACES THAT

WE'D RATHER NOT BE, AND HE PUTS US WITH PEOPLE THAT WE'D RATHER

NOT BE WITH.

YOU KNOW, DON'T PRAY TO LOVE THE UNLOVELY IF YOU DON'T WANT

TO BE AROUND ANYBODY UNLOVELY.

DON'T PRAY TO BE USED BY GOD AND THEN CRAB BECAUSE YOU'RE

THE ONLY CHRISTIAN IN THE PLACE.

JUST IMAGINE IF A WOMAN IS IN LABOR AND SHE KEEPS HOLDING

BACK.

THE PAIN'S ONLY GONNA GET WORSE.

AND WHAT DO THEY TELL YA, "RELAX, BREATHE."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "PUSH."

AND YOU JUST WANT TO GIVE THE DOCTOR A BLACK EYE.

IT'S LIKE--

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: BUT JUST IMAGINE IF YOU JUST KEPT HOLDING BACK

AND HOLDING BACK, AND I THINK THAT'S WHAT WE DO AS PEOPLE.

I THINK MANY TIMES THE THING THAT WE KNOW THAT GOD WANTS FROM

US, WE THINK IT'S GONNA COST US.

IT'S GONNA TAKE AN EFFORT.

IT'S GONNA MESS UP SOMETHING IN OUR PLAN.

AND SO RATHER THAN JUST TOTALLY SURRENDERING OURSELVES TO GOD

AND SUBMITTING OURSELVES TO HIM AND HIS PLAN, WE HOLD BACK

AND WE HOLD BACK.

SO WE GOT ALL THIS BIG JESUS INSIDE OF US, AND WE GO TO

CHURCH EVERY WEEK.

WE GET A LITTLE MORE WORD.

WE GET A LITTLE BIT MORE FATTER AND PREGNANT AND PREGNANT AND

PREGNANT AND PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT.

AND SO THEN WE JUST SIT ON THE CHURCH PEWS AND GRUMBLE

AND COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT'S GOING ON AROUND US.

AND IT'S ONLY BECAUSE WE'RE NOT GIVING BIRTH TO WHAT GOD HAS

PUT IN US.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: ALL THE MEN GET TO BE PREGNANT TODAY.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I BELIEVE THAT WE'RE PREGNANT WITH LOVE.

AND, YOU KNOW, LOVE IS SEEN IN MANY, MANY, MANY DIFFERENT WAYS.

I MADE A LIST HERE BUT IT'S LIKE LOVE IS SEEN IN BEING PATIENT

WITH PEOPLE, BEARING WITH THE FAILURES OF THE WEEK, BEING

AN EXCELLENT PERSON.

WE'RE SHOWING LOVE WHEN WE GO THE EXTRA MILE, INSTEAD OF JUST

DOING WHAT WE ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO DO TO GET BY.

IT'S DOING UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO DO TO YOU.

LOVE IS KINDNESS.

IT'S FORGIVENESS.

IT'S HELPING PEOPLE.

IT'S GIVING TIME.

IT'S LISTENING.

IT'S GIVING A COMPLIMENT.

IT'S PROVIDING FOR SOMEONE, PRAYING FOR SOMEONE, BEING

FAITHFUL, BEING COMMITTED, BELIEVING THE BEST.

AND I CAN JUST HAVE PAGES AND PAGES AND PAGES OF THE QUALITIES

OF LOVE.

I BELIEVE THAT LOVE IS INCLUSIVE, IT IS NOT EXCLUSIVE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: LOVE DOESN'T JUST LOVE PEOPLE THAT ARE LIKE--WE CAN'T

JUST LOVE PEOPLE THAT ARE LIKE US.

YOU KNOW, GOD TALKED A LOT IN THE BIBLE ABOUT HOW TO TREAT

STRANGERS, WHICH I THINK IS INTERESTING.

I MEAN THERE WAS SOME OLD TESTAMENT LAWS ABOUT HOW

TO TREAT STRANGERS.

THEY WERE COMMANDED BY THE LAW OF MOSES TO BRING IN

THE STRANGERS AND TO MAKE THEM FEEL WELCOME.

WELL, NATURALLY, WE'RE ALL MORE COMFORTABLE WITH PEOPLE WE KNOW

THAT ARE LIKE US.

BUT THE BEST THING TO DO IN CHURCH IS NOT JUST GET IN YOUR

LITTLE CLIQUISH GROUP.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: BUT KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR SOMEBODY THAT YOU DON'T

KNOW OR SOMEBODY WHO LOOKS MAYBE A LITTLE LOST OR UNCOMFORTABLE

AND GO TO THEM.

IT'S NOT MY FAVORITE THING TO DO EITHER, BUT IT'S WHAT GOD

TOLD US TO DO.

AND SO THAT'S WHAT WE NEED TO DO.

AMEN?

NOW SOME OF YOU ARE REAL GOOD AT THAT.

I MEAN PASTOR MIKE, WHO'S BEEN HELPING US, HE'D HAVE NO PROBLEM

AT ALL, YOU KNOW, MAKING FRIENDS WITH EVERYBODY THAT HE'D NEVER

SEEN BEFORE.

MY HUSBAND WOULDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH IT.

I'D HAVE TO DO IT ON PURPOSE, BUT THAT'S OKAY.

THAT'S WHAT I'M TELLING YOU THAT, YOU KNOW, WE DON'T JUST

GET TO DO WHAT WE'RE COMFORTABLE WITH.

WE DO WHAT GOD TELLS US TO DO.

SO I'M GONNA READ YOU A STORY OUT OF MY BOOK.

IT'S A STORY ABOUT ME, AND I THINK YOU'LL GET MY POINT.

I BELIEVE WE NEED TO BROADEN OUR CIRCLES OF INCLUSION, AND WE

NEED TO MAKE THEM WIDE ENOUGH TO INCLUDE ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE.

"I WAS RECENTLY WITH A PASTOR FROM ENGLAND, AND WE WERE HAVING

COFFEE IN A COFFEE SHOP WITH SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE.

AND I REMEMBER LOOKING AT THE HAIRSTYLE OF THE GIRL WHO WAS

WAITING ON US AND TO BE HONEST, IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE STRANGEST

THING I'D EVER SEEN.

HER HEAD WAS SHAVED EXCEPT FOR ONE ROW OF HAIR GOING DOWN

THE MIDDLE OF HER HEAD THAT WAS STANDING STRAIGHT UP AND WAS

RED, BLACK, BLUE AND WHITE.

SHE ALSO HAD HER NOSE, HER TONGUE, HER LIP AND SEVERAL

OTHER PLACES ON HER EARS PIERCED.

AND I REMEMBER FEELING A BIT UNCOMFORTABLE BECAUSE SHE WAS

NOT ANYTHING LIKE I WAS.

WE WERE SO DIFFERENT THAT I COULD NOT EVEN THINK OF ANYTHING

TO SAY TO HER THAT SHE MIGHT EVEN REMOTELY RELATE TO.

SO I JUST WANTED TO ORDER MY COFFEE AND TRY NOT TO STARE."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: ANYBODY EVER BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT?

IT'S INTERESTING HOW UNCOMFORTABLE WE GET AROUND

PEOPLE THAT AREN'T LIKE US.

"PAUL, ON THE OTHER HAND, THE PASTOR I WAS WITH, STARTED

UP A CONVERSATION WITH THE GIRL AND THE FIRST THING HE SAID TO

HER WAS, 'I LIKE YOUR HAIR.

HOW DO YOU GET IT TO STAND UP LIKE THAT?'"

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "AND I'M THINKING, OH, MAN, DON'T OFFEND HER.

SHE ANSWERED HIM BACK AND THEY WERE LAUGHING.

AND HE CONTINUED THE DISCUSSION WITH HER AND THE AIR BEGAN TO

LIGHTEN UP.

EVERYBODY GOT RELAXED AND SOON WE WERE ALL AT EASE, AND I COULD

FEEL THAT WE WERE ALL STARTING TO JOIN IN THEIR CONVERSATION

AND INCLUDE HER IN OUR CIRCLE.

I LEARNED A HUGE LESSON THAT DAY THAT I'M NOT QUITE AS MODERN AS

I MIGHT LIKE TO THINK THAT I AM, AND I STILL HAVE SOME STINKIN'

RELIGIOUS THINKIN' THAT NEEDS TO BE DEALT WITH AND I NEED TO GO

TO A NEW LEVEL OF MAKING ALL PEOPLE, INCLUDING THOSE WHO ARE

DIFFERENT FROM ME, FEEL COMFORTABLE AND INCLUDED."

AMEN?

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU KNOW, EVERY GENERATION ALWAYS

GOSSIPS ABOUT THE YOUNGER GENERATION COMING UP UNDER THEM.

I REMEMBER SOME OF THE GOOFY THINGS THAT WE DID WHEN I WAS

A TEENAGER, I MEAN JUST SILLY THINGS.

GIRLS BACK THEN WOULD WEAR A HEADSCARF AND TIE IT IN A KNOT

AND PUT THE KNOT UP HERE ON THEIR CHIN.

WHAT'S WITH THAT?

MAKES NO SENSE.

AND YOU KNOW WHAT I'VE LEARNED?

GOD, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, ACTUALLY ANOINTS DENIM, NOT JUST

POLYESTER.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I MEAN I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT.

I THOUGHT THE ONLY WAY YOU COULD BE GODLY IS IF YOU WORE

A THREE-PIECE SUIT AND, YOU KNOW, FULL EVERYTHING TO CHURCH.

AND THEN I STARTED NOTICING HOW ANOINTED SOME OF THESE YOUNG

PEOPLE ARE AND WHAT GOD'S DOING THROUGH THEM AND THE PRAISE AND

WORSHIP THEY'RE BRINGING AND HOW THE SPIRIT COMES IN.

AND SO I'VE JUST COME TO THE POINT, I DON'T REALLY CARE IF

THEY DON'T DRESS LIKE ME.

I DON'T CARE IF THEIR HAIRSTYLE'S NOT LIKE MINE.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU KNOW WHAT?

YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH?

WHEN MOSES CAME DOWN OFF MOUNT SINAI AFTER 40 DAYS

AND NIGHTS AND HE CAME DOWN WITH THOSE TEN COMMANDMENTS, I BET

NONE OF US WOULD HAVE WANTED TO HAVE COFFEE WITH HIM EITHER.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: 'CAUSE I BET THERE WAS--HE WAS NOT LOOKING ALL

THAT GREAT.

AND NOT ONLY THAT, THERE'S NOT ONE OF US THAT WOULD HAVE HUNG

OUT WITH JOHN THE BAPTIST 'CAUSE HE LOOKED LIKE A WILD MAN AND

ATE LOCUST AND HONEY AND LIVED OUT IN THE WOODS.

"REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND."

THEY'RE LIKE, "I'M NOT HANGING OUT WITH YOU, BUDDY."

COME ON.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: YOU ONLY HAVE ONE LIFE, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO

WITH IT?

THE CHOICE IS YOURS, ARE YOU GONNA KEEP IT, GIVE IT FOR

SOMETHING USELESS, OR GIVE IT TO GOD?

THE BIBLE SAYS THAT "UNLESS THE SEED FALLS IN THE GROUND AND

DIES, IT ABIDES ALONE, BUT IF IT DIES, IT BEARS MUCH FRUIT."

YOU CAN HAVE A VERY FRUITFUL, SATISFYING, AMAZING LIFE IF

YOU'LL JUST LET GOD DO THE WORK IN YOU THAT HE WANTS TO DO,

AND NOT BE THE CENTER OF YOUR OWN UNIVERSE, AND REALLY

SINCERELY ASK GOD TO USE YOU.

NOW, YOU KNOW, I KNOW THAT WE GOT PEOPLE WATCHIN' THIS BY

TELEVISION ALL OVER THE WORLD IN MANY DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, AND IN

THE MOST SINCERE WAY THAT I KNOW HOW TO SAY IT, I'M JUST PLEADING

WITH YOU TODAY TO STOP JUST TRYIN' TO GET WHAT YOU THINK YOU

WANT ALL THE TIME AND OPEN YOUR LIFE REALLY UP TO GOD.

IF YOU'VE NEVER RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR, THEN ASK HIM TO

COME INTO YOUR HEART TODAY AND FORGIVE YOUR SINS AND CLEANSE

YOU AND GIVE YOU A BRAND-NEW LIFE AND A BRAND-NEW START.

THERE'S A NUMBER ON YOUR SCREEN.

YOU CAN CALL OUR OFFICE AND WE'LL BE HAPPY TO PRAY WITH

YOU AS YOU RECEIVE CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR TODAY.

BUT IF YOU ARE ALREADY A CHRISTIAN AND YOU JUST HAVE

NOT REALLY SURRENDERED TO GOD, I'M ASKING YOU TODAY TO MAKE

A FULL SURRENDER.

DON'T JUST GO TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY AND PUT A LITTLE MONEY

IN THE OFFERING.

GIVE YOURSELF, GIVE YOURSELF.

GIVE YOUR MONEY, BUT GIVE YOURSELF TO GOD.

ROMANS 12, VERSE 2 SAYS THAT: "WE ARE TO BRING

OURSELVES AS A LIVING SACRIFICE, AND OFFER UP ALL OF OUR

FACULTIES TO GOD."

THAT MEANS GIVE HIM YOUR MIND, GIVE HIM YOUR MOUTH, GIVE HIM

YOUR EYES, GIVE HIM YOUR HANDS, GIVE HIM YOUR FEET, GIVE HIM

YOUR HEART, GIVE HIM EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS YOU.

AND SAY, "GOD, YOU DO WHAT YOU WANNA DO IN ME.

I DON'T WANT TO LIVE A USELESS, EMPTY LIFE."

YOU HAVE ONE LIFE TO LIVE.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH IT?

TODAY IS A DAY OF DECISION.

AND AS I FINISH, I WANNA SAY THIS.

NOT ONLY IS LOVE THE ONE THING THAT GOD WANTS US TO DO MORE

THAN ANYTHING.

NOT ONLY IS IT WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS MORE THAN ANYTHING,

BUT LOVE IS ACTUALLY SPIRITUAL WARFARE.

IT IS THE BEST WAY FOR YOU TO GET INTO A PLACE WHERE YOU ARE

UNMANAGEABLE BY THE DEVIL.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: DO YOU HEAR ME?

HOW MANY OF YOU WANNA WALK IN SO MUCH POWER THAT THERE'S NO WAY

THAT THE ENEMY CAN HAVE ANY REAL EFFECT ON YOUR LIFE?

[AUDIENCE CHEERING]

JOYCE: YOU WANNA DO THAT?

THE WAY TO DO IT IS TO WALK IN LOVE.

JOYCE: WELL, AS BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST, HE LIVES IN US.

WE ARE THE HOME OF GOD.

SO I LIKE TO SAY THAT WE ARE PREGNANT WITH THE SEED OF

GOD'S GREATNESS.

I WANNA ENCOURAGE YOU TO GIVE BIRTH TO WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU,

AND YOUR LIFE WILL BECOME SO MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE AS GOD USES

YOU TO BLESS OTHER PEOPLE.

TODAY, WE'RE OFFERING YOU THE BOOK THAT I'VE WRITTEN CALLED

"LIVING A LIFE THAT YOU LOVE."

IT JUST BECAME SO APPARENT TO ME THAT SO MANY PEOPLE REALLY DON'T

LOVE THEIR LIFE.

THEY DON'T EVEN LIKE THEIR LIFE.

AND WE FREQUENTLY HEAR PEOPLE SAY THAT THEY HATE THEIR LIFE OR

THEY HATE THEIR JOB OR THEY HATE WHERE THEY LIVE.

WE SHOULDN'T FEEL LIKE THAT ABOUT THE LIFE THAT WE HAVE.

ANYBODY'S LIFE MIGHT BE ABLE TO BE IMPROVED.

AND IN THIS BOOK, THERE'S GONNA BE PRACTICAL STEPS THAT CAN HELP

YOU DO THAT, BUT PLEASE DON'T GO THROUGH LIFE NOT ENJOYING IT.

WE'RE OFFERING THIS TO YOU TODAY FOR YOUR GIFT TO THE MINISTRY

OF ANY AMOUNT.

WE TRUST YOU TO DO YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST.

AND I WANNA ENCOURAGE YOU TO LET LOVE BE THE CENTER OF YOUR LIFE

ALL DAY LONG.

JOYCE: DO YOU REALLY LOVE YOUR LIFE, OR ARE YOU JUST KIND

OF PUTTING UP WITH IT, GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS

DAY AFTER DAY?

YOU KNOW WHAT?

IF YOU ARE, I CAN HELP YOU.

I'VE WRITTEN A BOOK CALLED "LIVING A LIFE THAT YOU LOVE,"

AND WITH GOD'S HELP, YOU CAN LEARN TO DO THAT.

How to make an Easter wreath - Duration: 12:18.

how about making an Easter door ring to hang up inside or on your front door

you'll need a wire frame as your base some pliable twigs and a whole bunch of

pipe cleaners I'm Julie from Julie Davies flower workshops and #FlowerStart the

online flower arranging classes let's get started I decided to make an Easter

ring so I've got myself this circle of metal it's going to be my frame for the

ring and then a variety of spring branches so there's some pussy-willow

in there and also silver birch now this ring here is going to be absolutely

perfect and I'll tell you where I got it from you know sometimes you see hubcaps

are falling off cars on the side of the road or sometimes you find this metal

ring as well which I guess must be the catch the holes the hubcap in place and

they're really good size for making dori it's out of if you haven't got one of

these and it's quite unlikely that you'll be able to find one what you

could use is from their triangular coat hangers from the dry cleaners and if you

hold it by the hook and then hold it a bit like I said if you're doing a bow

and arrow you can straighten it out from it and become a square and then you need

to go through and just sort of manipulate it out and you end up with a

circle with a hook on the top so you can use that as well and then also I've got

some pipe cleaners because that's what I'm going to attach my Twix to my my

ring with and I can't quite decide whether to go for pink because it's

springtime and will show up or whether to go Brown because then it'll blend

into the background with the rest of the tricks so the first thing you need to

make sure it's just that you've got some twigs a reasonably pliable so you can

shape them round the circle frame and what I'm going to do is to take one of

the pipe cleaners and wrap that around the fringe starting about halfway

through wrapping it around twice and giving it a twist just so it holds in

place and then with the branches I'm going to take the the bendy end of the

branch and secure it through that tie with

pipe cleaner and it gave just a couple of times round and then come back and

secure in the thicker end and go jumps twice round and then twist it there like

a sandwich bag tie and work my way around the ring like that so again

making sure things pliable and with the soft pliable ends they're putting that

over the woody end at a previous placement and what I can do is reuse the

end of that pipe cleaner to hold that stick in place

so that's tighten there so it's hold that held the base of one stick and the

plier will enter the other and it's all spinning out at a moment but when you've

got a few more tricks in you can tie them down and make it as a compactor

ring as you want here again stay about halfway down wrapping it over putting it

nice and secure and giving it a twist

once again I think then to attach another pipe cleaner because it's a bit

of a gap between it's not quite as supple that one it's going a bit

following the shape of the ring so another time there so I've got one two

three four fixing or so far and again that's nice and pliable so I

tend where I put the base of the last

twig and Bend that round and I've come then back to the beginning and I can

slide that's other twig in under the first fixing so I've got five pipe

cleaners that are holding that rough shape in place and then what you do then

I think again it's a bit loose just here so I shall add in another pipe cleaner

just keep going round and round

adding in as many tweaks as you want to so that is quite sparse to start with

but the more I add in the the denser and more robust the coverage will be and all

I'm making sure is I've always got the tweaks going in the same direction so

feels quite intuitive that you want to be putting the flexible bits the twig in

first and then securing the multi bits at the end so benching us together on

again keeping the pipe cleaner the whole length the pipe cleaners I can just keep

adding and adding to it bending around and then securing it in at the next pipe

cleaner and if you feel you need more pipe cleaners to secure everything just

add in more pipe cleaners so again it's starting to look a bit way with there

but I might just work through with that keep it where it is nice pliable stick

again fasten that down and catch it on this pipe cleaner and the next one is

one

if you had really long lengths of twig you could just go all the way around but

these bits although they were pliable I couldn't get the length that I really

wanted so I've cut them down they're probably about 40 or 50 centimeters long

but if you are making this with a sort of grapevine you could fasten it round

into one continuous loop fixing in the top pick the really pliable piece at the

end bending it round catching it under the next pipe cleaner once it's become

more stable and substantial you could start white weaving in the twigs and not

having to bind them in to the pipe cleaner every time and if you do feel

it's looking a bit loose in various places and go ahead and just add in an

extra pipe cleaner so I'm just bundling it all together twist it round I'm

Vangel it through and use stiffer bits even try and weave them in and out if

they're just are sticking out too far take your second toes and cut those away

so I'm going to swap now and thing is some of the pussywillows as a contrast

it's like Oh yellow a green a stamp and again I might see now with like on wine

there's and announce so I'm using the stiffest bit to sort of like a needle as

if I'm sewing I'm winding it in and out of the frame catching it in with the

pipe cleaner bending those bits around all the time going the same way around a

continuous circle so it's my fine pieces are up here and then my woody stem was

down here so I lay over the fine pieces at this end they'll get over that woody

stem hide that enough to come around and find those twigs into that fixing here

just point cleaner here and then this last bit again

I could try threading it through just to secure it in that doesn't actually need

to be bound in and the same thing here find Twiggy bits and get bound onto the

circle a little bit come through at the end there that's part way through so

I'll stop the video now and carry on working and I'll come back and show you

what that looks like anything's up added it some more sticks and it's starting to

look really substantial now and I thought I'd come back for the last of my

silver birch twigs just to add in a bit of contrast to the other twigs and the

the possible if it's in there these are quite big branches so I'll cut them down

little bit just to make them more manageable but attaching them in the

same way so I've got the the flimsy edges here and I'll bundle those

together and attach it with the pipe cleaner so I

still just got the one length of pipe cleaner that's managed to hold

everything and then with the sticky end as if it's a sewing needle I can start

to thread that in and out and weave it round and then that wouldn't bit

finished there so I come back with the next slot of supple bits of the twig and

attach those to cover that sticky bit at the end nice and securely and then I can

weave through with the Twiggy end again the Twiggy ends finished there so come

back again let's cut this down to make it manageable so twiki end finished here

so fast nut in with a pipe cleaner weave that around back in and then come back

and lay over little next bit of silver birch fasting in the finer ends first

and then securing its really woody at that ends I think I might cut off this

really woody pieces and feed those into the door ring just make sure everything

is reasonably secure and the way of doing that it's just to give it a shake

and if you think anything's falling out of it after the door ring or looking a

bit wayward and you want to sort of contain it a bit more so just now so

many twigs springing out from the edges you can use the rests of the pipe

cleaners just to pull everything together so that's the first stage and

then you can go ahead and decorate that if you want it or keep it really natural

and just hang it on the wall or on your front door just like that so phrase my

finished stories and in fact I'm going to hang mine up on my wall inside the

house and you can keep on adding as much as you like so if you've got decorative

Easter eggs you'd put them in there or just keep it really bare and natural so

I do hope you've enjoyed that and if you have please give the video a thumbs up

and let me know in the comments below what kind of videos you'd like me to

film in the future and don't forget to subscribe to my channel

The Only 4 TYPES Of Bass Lines You'll Ever Need To Learn - Duration: 14:27.

What if I told you there were only 4 core types of bass lines. Only 4 kinds of bass

lines you'd ever have to learn, only 4 kinds that you'd ever have to create. Would that

make things easier for you? Hi I'm Luke McIntosh from becomeabassist.com and in this

lesson, you'll learn the 4 types and most importantly, you'll discover what they're

used for and where you can use them yourself.

This is going to be a ton of fun! Playing bass lines, writing bass lines, there are

tons of ways to do it, but when you break it all down, the overwhelming majority of

lines can be put into 4 broad categories. They start off being kind of very rigid and

formulaic in the type 1s and get more and more organic and less formulaic as we go down

to our type 4s. As you go from type 1s to type 4s though, they do get a bit trickier

to create and usually a little bit trickier to play as well.

The first type of bass line - the Type 1 -  I'm sure you've heard hundreds or maybe even

thousands of times before. I call these monorhythmic chord followers and they're super simple.

All they are is primarily one kind of rhythm (mono - meaning one) and that one rhythm just

follows the chords. Usually the rhythm is a quarter note or an 8th note and the notes

they play are usually the root. For example, if the chord was a B chord and the rhythm

was an 8th note, you'd play 8 Bs per bar and that would be the bass line. [plays bass

line] Now this might seem simple - almost too simple! But this exact bass line is what

happens at the start of AC/DC's Thunderstruck. The guitars are doing their thing, the drums

are playing, and the bass is playing this. It's totally simple, but it works super

well! It drives the song along without getting in the way of the other instruments or the

vocals and it doesn't distract from the song.

What about an example that uses quarter notes instead? Well what if we had a chord progression,

C# minor, E major, B major, A major and we had a quarter note pulse that we wanted to

play. That'd sound like this. [plays bass line] Now again, this might sound simple,

but it's actually the bass line from One Republic's Counting Stars - an insanely

popular song with a very simple monorhythmic bass line that just follows the chords. Your

bass lines don't have to be complicated for them to be effective.

For some more examples of monorhythmic chord following bass lines, you could check out

Stevie Wonder's Superstition - it's mostly quarter notes. Also Adele's Rolling In The

Deep, or The Police's Every Breath You Take - both mostly playing 8th notes and following

chords.

So the next question you're probably asking is when do you use this kind of Type 1 bass

line? What is it good for? Great question! These bass lines are perfect for when you

want to do one of two things. Number one: you really want to drive the band and give

a sense of forward momentum. You can even play around with the weight and strength of

all the notes to make them feel different. For a really bouncy version of this kind of

bass line, check out Sly and The Family Stone's Everyday People. Larry Graham on that track

has just about the bounciest 8th notes in history! It's incredible! But the whole

song he sticks to that one rhythm, and in fact, that whole song is just one note! ONE

NOTE! The 2nd thing you can do with this kind of bass line is hypnotize people. Something

that's so repetitive can really hook your audience and this kind of hypnotizing effect

works best when the energy is a bit lower. Check out the bass line to U2's With Or

Without You. It's super relaxed and is a prime example of a monorhythmic chord follower

with that hypnotizing kind of feel.

The Type 2 bass line is similar to the Type 1 in that they mostly follow the roots. The

key difference is that they follow the rhythm of the bass drum rather than just picking

one rhythm and running with it. Obviously there will be some crossover between these

2 types and there's nothing wrong with that at all.

These are the kind of bass lines that are again, very functional and serve the music.

If you had a chord progression that was G D C and a drummer that was playing this [plays

track] then you'd end up with a bass line that sounded something like this. [plays bass

line] Do you recognize this one? This is actually the bass line from Take It Easy by Eagles.

This is just root notes following the bass drum pattern. This approach also works well

if you're playing dance heavy music. For example, if you check out KC and The Sunshine

Band's Shake Your Booty, it'll sound something like this. [plays bass line] Again, just following

that kick drum pattern along with the chords. Now it's fairly rare to find a whole song

where the bass drum and bass play exactly together for the whole song. It just takes

one person to add in a fill or play a note twice and it's not exactly the same, but

again - that's fine! You can begin with this approach and branch out from there.

So when should you use the Type 2 bass line? Well this is a good one if you really want

the song to settle and you really want to 'lock in' with your drummer. These bass

lines are great because they tie together the harmony (the roots of the chords) and

the rhythm (that comes from the kick drum). For some more examples, check out the verses

to EWF's Shining Star or Jason Mraz's I'm Yours. Both largely take this kind of

approach. They're not overly glamorous; they are usually simple bass lines that serve

the songs they're in perfectly!

Type #3 are your bass lines that mimic other parts of the song; the bass and some other

instrument will be playing the exact same thing - although probably in different octaves.

These are super common in rock, punk and metal music. Any time you see a guitar playing the

exact same thing as the bass - that's one of these Type #3 bass lines. It doesn't

just have to be a guitar though - it can be anything. A piano, some vocal line, a banjo

- any time the bass is playing the same thing as another instrument. Does this sound familiar

to you? [plays bass line] It's the Jackson 5's I Want You Back. This bass line is sick!

It's one of my favorites in the whole world. But if you listen to the recording, you'll

notice that the bass is playing the same thing as the piano during the verses. At these points

in the song, it's a Type #3 bass line! What about this one? [plays bass line] Absolutely

classic song - Cream's Sunshine Of Your Love, and for a lot of the song, the bass

and guitar play the exact same thing. Now in all these examples, I wouldn't be able

to tell you whether the bass player came up with the ideas first or not, but they sounded

better when there was more than one instrument on them!

So when should you use a Type 3 bass line? Anytime you want to make something that's

already there feel POWERFUL. Having the bass in the low register play something that's

also being played up higher is going to make it sound and feel super fat and super powerful.

That's why so much rock, punk and metal music does this - to make everything seem

bigger and thicker and fatter. The one caveat is that there has to be something there for

you to reinforce. If there's not, then you can't mimic anything, right? For some more

examples of this kind of bass line, check out Rush's YYZ, the intro and verse to Bon

Jovi's Living On A Prayer or Pink Floyd's Money. All great examples of the bass playing

along with another instrument.

Type #4 - the final bass line type is possibly the most fun and most interesting, and it's

when the bass is its own melodic line, independent of anything else - nobody is playing the same

thing as the bass. A lot of the most kind of iconic bass lines come out of this type

because they have to be memorable and have to be melodic. Have you ever heard this? [plays

bass line] If you know the song, then you don't need to hear any more of it - you

know it's the Clash's London Calling. The bass is the only instrument that plays

that line in the song and it's one of the big hooks in the song! That's what makes

these kind of lines so fun to play and satisfying to write. What about this one? [plays bass

line] Any Red Hot Chili Peppers fan knows instantly that it's Give It Away. Tons of

Flea bass lines are type 4 - these independent melodic bass lines. Lots of iconic bass players

made their name by creating these kind of lines: the big one that comes to mind is James

Jamerson. Pretty much everything that guy played was an independent melodic bass line

and they sound amazing!

The trick with this kind of bass line is that is HAS to be functional as well as sound cool.

The line has to outline the harmony as well as be pretty in its own right, otherwise it's

kind of a waste. Both the Clash example and the Flea example both outlined the chords,

yeah. So where can you use this type of bass line? Use a type 4 independent melodic bass

line where there's some space for you in the mix where you can inject your own personality.

If you're playing a song that's super busy and you're trying to play these intricate

melodic bass lines, chances are, the song isn't going to work - it may even fall apart.

Think about the 2 examples we had so far. In London Calling, the guitar is just playing

chords on the beats and the drums are quite simple - there's space there for the bass

to shine through. In the Chili Peppers example, listen to the track. There's only drums,

guitar, which is playing riffy stuff up high and the vocals - there's a ton of space

that Flea could fill, so he does it by playing a melodic line. Could he have just played

a type 2 line - playing the same rhythm as the bass drum on the root? Sure - he could

have, but the actual bass line sounds way better than a type 2 would have in the same

situation.

For some more examples of these type 4 bass lines check out anything James Jamerson ever

did, the verses to Sam And Dave's Knock On Wood, or the verses to the Beatles Come

Together. They're all great examples of super melodic bass lines.

By the way, all of these types can be mixed together in a single line. In fact, very few

bass lines are exclusively one type. Most blend at least 2 types. For example, a jazz

walking bass line is monorhythmic and outlines the chords, so it makes it a type 1, but it's

ALSO an independent melodic line. It's a blend of both! Same with bass lines like Billie

Jean. It's only 8ths notes that outline the harmony, but it's an independent melodic

line as well. Some bass lines might start out as independent lines only to have another

instrument join in on that line later on. For example, in Jackie Wilson's Higher And

Higher, the bass starts the song off, [plays bass line] but by the end of the song, the

horns start playing fragments of that first line, so it turns into a hybrid Type 4/Type

3 bass line. Type 1 and Type 3 is a common combination - lots of punk and metal music

uses this where they'll be playing a type 1 line, but with multiple instruments. Think

about Blink 182's All The Small Things [plays bass line] It's a Type 1 line - straight

8th notes playing the chords, but the guitar plays the same thing so it's ALSO a type

3. So you see, very few bass lines are exclusively 1 type or another, but approaching them in

this way should be a great way for you to get ideas for your own bass lines.

Now if you want the tabs for the bass lines that I used as examples in this video as well

To recap really quickly though, you learned the only 4 types of bass lines you'd ever

need to know. Type one was the monorhythmic chord follower which was great for pushing

the song along or hypnotizing your audience. Type 2 was the roots played in the rhythm

of the bass drum which was amazing for having a song settle and really locking in with your

drummer. Type 3 was where the bass was playing the same thing as another instrument which

made whatever you were doing feel so much bigger and more powerful and finally your

type 4 bass lines were your independent melodic lines which were great when there was space

for you in the mix to inject your personality. You also learned that almost all bass lines

were a mix of the 4 different types.

Thanks so much for watching - this has been super fun for me. I hope it has been for you

too. My name's Luke McIntosh from becomeabassist.com. Good luck with the lesson and happy playing!
