Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he will take in refugees - Duration: 4:07.

'We will welcome you regardless of your faith': Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he will take in refugees as Trump bans travel from Muslim countries to the US

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he would welcome refugees as scores were turned away by the US under President Donald Trump's travel ban on Sunday.

PHOTO: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted on Sunday that he would welcome refugees regardless of their faith as President Trump imposed a travel ban against citizens from Muslim-majority countries

'To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength,' Trudeau said in a tweet as chaos unfolded at airports across America.

Dozens of people travelling from a handful of Muslim-majority countries have been detained over the weekend.

PHOTO: The Canadian Prime Minister plans to share his country's positive experience with President Trump when they meet soon, an aide said

Trudeau added the hashtag 'WelcomeToCanada' and later tweeted under it to share a photograph of him welcoming a Syrian refugee to the country last year.

He also plans to share his views on the subject at a meeting with President Trump in the near future, a spokesman said.

'The Prime Minister is looking forward to discussing the successes of Canada's immigration and refugee policy with the President when they next speak,' spokeswoman Kate Purchase said.

Protests erupted at airports across the US on Saturday as passengers from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen were detained despite flying in to the country with legitimate visas or green cards.

It is part of a 90-day travel ban from Muslim-majority countries to the US that was implemented by President Trump on Friday.

The ban has so far displaced 375 people; 109 were detained as they arrived in America and 173 were stopped from boarding flights to the US overseas.

Eighty-one people from the specified countries who hold visas or green cards were granted waivers and allowed to enter as normal.

PHOTO: Prime Minister Trudeau also shared this image of him welcoming a Syrian refugee to Canada last year

The sudden and drastic ban sparked widespread protests at airports where immigrants are being held. New York's John F. Kennedy Airport saw some of the largest crowds.

White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus revealed on Sunday morning that green card holders would not be subject to the ban 'going forward'.

President Trump, defiant in his refusal to back down, took to Twitter to insist the country had to strengthen its borders.

PHOTO: Thousands of people erupted in protest at airports across the country on Saturday as news spread that citizens from Muslim-majority countries were being detained

'Our country needs strong borders and extreme vetting, NOW. Look what is happening all over Europe and, indeed, the world - a horrible mess!'

'Christians in the Middle-East have been executed in large numbers. We cannot allow this horror to continue!' he said.

A temporary stay blocking the deportation of immigrants under the affected countries was granted by a federal judge on Saturday night.

PHOTO: President Trump signed the executive order on Friday and the ban was immediately put in place

The Department of Homeland Security however said it would do nothing to weaken the ban

'President Trump's Executive Orders remain in place - prohibited travel will remain prohibited, and the U.S. government retains its right to revoke visas at any time if required for national security or public safety,' it said in a statement.

PHOTO: He stood by it on Sunday morning despite widespread outcry, taking to Twitter defiantly

It urged citizens of the seven Muslim-majority countries not to ban travel to the US. 'If you are a citizen of one of these countries, please do not schedule a visa appointment or pay any visa fees at this time.

'If you already have an appointment scheduled, please DO NOT ATTEND. You will not be permitted entry to the Embassy/Consulate.'

PHOTO: A temporary stay was granted by a judge blocking the deportation of immigrants from the US but Homeland Security said the ban would remain in place. Armed police formed a line at JFK Terminal 4 on Saturday night

Thousands of donations have poured into the American Civil Liberties Union which is fighting on behalf of those being detained.

The international community has been outraged by the sudden ban. Celebrities and politicians in the UK are calling for Prime Minister Theresa May to take a stand against Trump's ban.

PHOTO: More than 100 people were detained upon arrival in the US and more were stopped from boarding flights overseas including Fuad Sharef Suleman who was banned from travelling from his native Iraq (pictured at Erbil International Airport in Iraq on Sunday)

What You Never Knew about the Armor of God - Duration: 4:26.

While studying the full armor of God, the Lord showed me something that changed everything.

Keep watching.

As I studied to write a chapter about the full armor of God for my book, Silence Satan,

the Lord clued me in on something that radically changed

how I approached it.

In Ephesians 6, Paul instructs, "Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be

able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

Next, he clarifies the source of our struggles: "For our fight is not

against flesh and blood, but against principalities … powers … rulers of the darkness of the

world… and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."

Then he boasts, "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to

withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.

Stand therefore…"

I noticed that in only five verses, Paul uses the word stand, four times.

Then God revealed something revolutionary: "The armor isn't

meant to help battle a devil who is defeated, but to

stand in the victory of the One who defeated him!"

This simple revelation changed everything about my plans for the chapter.

I suddenly saw that Paul used the context of the Roman soldier's

uniform to relate about the power we each possess as those dressed "in Christ."

Amazingly, each of the six articles in the armor are all ours—not

to fight for what we don't have, but to help us

stand in what we already have in Christ.

Take a look.

The belt was a thick leather that was band girdled around the soldier's waist.

Paul probably mentioned it first because it was foundational—the belt is

what most of the weaponry was attached to.

Then he likened it to the truth we have in Christ.

That is, knowing the truth about who you are and what

you have in Him is foundational for victory.

The breastplate was a beautiful, scaled metal piece that was fastened around the upper body,

protecting the vital organs of the soldier.

Paul likened this to the righteousness we have in Christ, which

protects the most vital part about us—our identity in Him.

The shoes were made of a leather sole with bands that wrapped up around the ankles.

On the bottom were stones, or cleats, to help the soldier

stand firm in his position.

In Christ, we have shoes of peace, which help us stand calm and strong

in the midst of difficulties and trials.

The shield was the largest and most movable piece.

It protected the soldier from the flying spears and swords of battle.

Paul compared this to our faith in Christ, which when raised,

protects us with an unwavering confidence that God's got this!

The helmet protected from the most fatal wounds on the battlefield—head wounds.

In Christ, we have a helmet of salvation, which protects

our minds with salvation thoughts: thoughts that are

true, pure, lovely, excellent and worthy of praise.

Finally, the sword was both a defensive and offensive weapon.

Of course, defensively, it could block the enemy.

But offensively, the soldier would stand and wave it in the air, signaling to an

enemy: "I'm armed and dangerous, you better stay back!"

In Christ, God's Word is like this sword.

When spoken, it defends against the devil's attacks.

But used offensively, it alerts Satan: "Stay back!

Because I know who I am and what I have in Christ!"

Isn't this awesome?

As someone who is "in Christ," you already possess the armor of God,

which is the uniform of Jesus.

Yes, in Christ, you have truth, righteousness, peace, faith,

salvation, and His Word to help silence Satan.

Now stand in it!

Are You An Entrepreneur? - Duration: 3:06.

Am I?

Are you?

Hey welcome back for another episode of The Bootstrap Boutique where beginners build businesses

and I am glad you are here because today, I have a confession to make.

That confession is that I feel funny about the e word.

The e word?

What is that?

Entrepreneur.

I do not call myself and likely will never call myself an entrepreneur and that is for

me not a word that I identify with.

Let's start at the beginning.

The first time I ever heard the word entrepreneur I was at college, and the university I attended

was extremely focused in science and technology.

So all the entrepreneurs were doing these big tech start ups, they were doing medical

engineering and coming out with medical devices that were going to save lives.

This?

Selling on Amazon?

Not going to save lives.

So in my mind, entrepreneurship and high tech stuff go hand in hand.

I know now that entrepreneurship runs a gamit and there's everything from yes, those high

tech start ups to creative entrepreneurs that are selling their art online.

But that early exposure to the word entrepreneurship and what it meant in that context has always

really stuck with me and its made it really hard for me to consider myself an entrepreneur

even though I have technically started a business.

Because I've been interested in starting a business for so long, years ago I used to

actually subscribe to Inc. and Fast Company magazines and read those like that was the

kind of business I was going to start.

Inc. and Fast Company, they really tell those stories of the people that risk everything

and put it all on the line to fund and start their dream.

And that is just not what The Bootstrap Boutique is about.

The Bootstrap Boutique is about side hustles and side streams of income.

Maybe that becomes a full time job one day but for me right now that's not the goal.

So for me, that is still what I consider an entrepreneur.

I have a hard time in my head equating a side hustle to an entrepreneur.

To me there is a big do not equals sign in the middle.

I'm not saying its right, I'm not saying its wrong.

Its just how my brain is wired and I think that early exposure to the word entrepreneur

has a lot to do with it.

Now a lot of you guys probably don't agree with that concept and that's totally fine.

I'm not saying I'm right or wrong, it's just how I think about it.

I mean, if you go and you read Twitter bios, everybody is an entrepreneur.

But for me, if you said, "Megan are you an entrepreneur?"

I would say "no."

Because I will probably always feel funny about the e word.

Thanks so much for being here again this week guys I would love to know what you think about

this topic, are you an entrepreneur?

Are you not an entrepreneur?

Tell me what you call yourself down in the comments below I can't wait to see what everybody

thinks.

You're probably going to tell me about how wrong I am and how I need to get over it.

That's fine too, tell me that, feel free.

Don't forget to subscribe to this channel so you never miss a video we post new ones

on Mondays and Wednesdays and I will talk to you next time.

Take care!

How to Get Slim Waist Fast without Exercise - Every Girl Should Know CHEAP DIY Easy To Make At Home - Duration: 14:10.

Slim Waist Fast.

By LifeBuzzFeed.com.

Please like, subscribe and share this video to friends and family.

Thank you.

Whether you're trying to whittle your waistline for a wedding or reunion, or you just want

to shape up for swimsuit season, stubborn belly fat can be hard to shed.

Abdominal fat increases with age, particularly for women.

And unfortunately, visceral belly fat (fat packed between the organs) is linked to serious

conditions like Type 2 diabetes, heart disease and even breast cancer.

Luckily, dangerous visceral fat responds fairly readily to diet and exercise.

However, the subcutaneous fat that sits around your middle is harder to shed.

It will take focus and effort to achieve a tapered waist, and it will be a few months

before you see your desired results.

Diet for a Slim Waist Reduce your daily calorie intake.

You'll need to burn off 3,500 more calories than you consume to melt away a single pound

of fat.

For safe and realistic weight loss, cut 500 to 1,000 calories per day from your normal

diet.

Ditch foods that are energy-dense, meaning they have a high ratio calories per gram.

These include fats, sugars and alcohol.

Avoid saturated fats and trans fats, which can contribute to a thick waistline.

Choose foods that fill you up with fewer calories like fruits, vegetables and lean proteins

such as beans, fish and egg whites.

Eat plenty of produce, which is usually high in water and fiber, instead of fat and carbs.

Fruits and vegetables have low energy density, providing filling bulk with fewer calories.

Toning Your Midsection with Exercise Plan to do cardio from 30 to 60 minutes a

day.

Moderate-intensity exercise will help torch away the fat.

Do strength training exercises three times a week to tone up your abdominal muscles.

While this won't help you burn off fat, it will give you a defined stomach.

Crunches and the bicycle maneuver both work your abs.

Do your crunches on an exercise ball to make them even more effective.

Train in intervals, pushing yourself hard for short bursts at a time.

This will burn off more calories.

Control Your Stress Remove as many stress factors from your life

as possible; for example, avoid irritating people.

A study at Yale University in 2000 showed that stress increases levels of the hormone

cortisol, causing women with healthy weights to pack on belly fat.

Participate in stress-lowering activities.

Yoga, meditation and breathing exercises can help.

Look up classes in your area or buy a guided-meditation audiobook.

Get a good night's rest.

Aim for seven to eight hours every night.

If you have trouble falling asleep, take time to unwind before bed by reading or pouring

a hot bath.

Avoid exercise, alcohol, nicotine, caffeine and large meals close to bedtime, as all of

these can disrupt your sleep.

How to Lose Weight Without Exercise or Dieting Fast.

By LifeBuzzFeed.com.

Please like, subscribe and share this video to friends and family.

Thank you.

Sticking to a conventional diet and exercise plan can be difficult.

However, there are several proven tips that can help you "mindlessly" eat fewer calories.

These are effective ways to reduce your weight, as well as to prevent weight gain in the future.

Here are 11 ways to lose weight without diet or exercise.

All of them are based on science.

1.

Chew Thoroughly and Slow Down

Your brain needs time to process that you've had enough to eat.

Chewing your food better makes you eat more slowly, which is associated with decreased

food intake, increased fullness and smaller portions.

How quickly you finish your meals may also affect your weight.

A recent review of 23 observational studies reported that faster eaters are more likely

to gain weight, compared to slower eaters.

Fast eaters are also much more likely to be obese.

To get into the habit of eating more slowly, it may help to count how many times you chew

each bite.

Bottom Line: Eating your food slowly can help you feel more full with fewer calories.

It is an easy way to lose weight and prevent weight gain.

2.

Use Smaller Plates For Unhealthy Foods

The typical food plate is larger today than it was a few decades ago.

This is unfortunate, since using a smaller plate may help you eat less by making portions

look larger.

At the same time, a bigger plate can make a serving look smaller, causing you to add

more food.

You can use this to your advantage by serving healthy food on bigger plates and less healthy

food on smaller plates.

Bottom Line: Smaller plates can trick your brain into thinking you're eating more than

you actually are.

Therefore, it's smart to consume unhealthy foods from smaller plates, causing you to

eat less.

3.

Eat Plenty of Protein

Protein has powerful effects on appetite.

It can increase the feeling of fullness, reduce hunger and help you eat fewer calories.

This may be because protein affects several hormones that play a role in hunger and fullness,

including ghrelin and GLP-1.

One study found that increasing protein intake from 15% to 30% of calories helped participants

eat 441 fewer calories per day and lose 11 pounds in 12 weeks, without intentionally

restricting anything.

If you currently eat a grain-based breakfast, then you may want to consider switching to

a protein-rich option, such as eggs.

In one study, overweight or obese women who had eggs for breakfast ate fewer calories

at lunch compared to those who ate a grain-based breakfast.

What's more, they ended up eating fewer calories for the rest of the day and during

the next 36 hours.

Some examples of protein-rich foods include chicken breasts, fish, Greek yogurt, lentils,

quinoa and almonds.

Bottom Line: Adding protein to your diet has been shown to cause "automatic" weight

loss, without exercise or conscious calorie restriction.

4.

Store Unhealthy Foods Out of Sight

Storing unhealthy foods where you can see them may increase hunger and cravings, causing

you to eat more.

This is also linked to weight gain.

One recent study found that if high-calorie foods are more visible in the house, the residents

are more likely to weigh more, compared to people who keep only a bowl of fruit visible.

Store unhealthy foods out of sight, such as in closets or cupboards, so that they are

less likely to catch your eye when you're hungry.

On the other hand, keep healthy foods visible on your counter tops and place them front

and center in your fridge.

Bottom Line: If you keep unhealthy foods on your counter, you are more likely to have

an unplanned snack.

This is also linked to increased weight and obesity.

It's better to keep healthy foods, like fruits, visible.

5.

Eat Fiber-Rich Foods

Eating fiber-rich foods may increase satiety, helping you feel fuller for longer.

Studies also indicate that a special kind of fiber, called viscous fiber, is particularly

helpful for weight loss.

It increases fullness and reduces food intake.

Viscous fiber forms a gel when it comes in contact with water.

This gel increases the time it takes to absorb nutrients and slows down the emptying of the

stomach.

Viscous fiber is only found in plant foods.

Examples include beans, oat cereals, Brussels sprouts, asparagus, oranges and flax seeds.

A weight loss supplement called glucomannan is also very high in viscous fiber.

Bottom Line: Viscous fiber is particularly helpful in reducing appetite and food intake.

This fiber forms gel that slows down digestion.

6.

Drink Water Regularly

Drinking water can help you eat less and lose weight, especially if you drink it before

a meal.

One study in adults found that drinking half a liter (17 oz) of water, about half an hour

before meals, reduced hunger and helped them eat fewer calories.

Participants who drank water before a meal lost 44% more weight over a 12-week period,

compared to those who did not.

If you replace calorie-loaded drinks — such as soda or juice — with water, you may experience

an even greater effect.

Bottom Line: Drinking water before meals may help you eat fewer calories.

Replacing a sugary drink with water is particularly beneficial.

7.

Serve Yourself Smaller Portions

Portion sizes have increased during the last few decades, especially at restaurants.

Larger portions encourage people to eat more, and have been linked to an increase in weight

gain and obesity.

One study in adults found that doubling the size of a dinner starter increased calorie

intake by 30%.

Serving yourself just a little less might help you eat significantly less food.

And you probably won't even notice the difference.

Bottom Line: Larger portion sizes have been linked to the obesity epidemic, and may encourage

both children and adults to eat more food.

8.

Eat Without Electronic Distractions

Paying attention to what you eat may help you eat fewer calories.

People who eat while they're watching TV or playing computer games may lose track of

how much they have eaten.

This, in turn, can cause overeating.

One review article looked at the results of 24 studies, finding that people who were distracted

at a meal ate about 10% more in that sitting.

However, not paying attention during a meal actually has an even greater influence on

your intake later in the day.

People who were distracted at a meal ate 25% more calories at later meals than people who

were not distracted.

If you regularly consume meals watching TV or using your computer or smartphone, these

extra calories can add up and have a massive impact on your weight in the long-term.

Bottom Line: People who eat while distracted are more likely to overeat.

Paying attention to your meals may help you eat less and lose weight.

9.

Sleep Well and Avoid Stress

When it comes to health, sleep and stress are often neglected.

But in fact, both can have powerful effects on your appetite and weight.

A lack of sleep may disrupt the appetite-regulating hormones leptin and ghrelin.

Another hormone, called cortisol, becomes elevated when you're stressed.

Having these hormones disrupted can increase your hunger and cravings for unhealthy food,

leading to higher calorie intake.

What's more, chronic sleep deprivation and stress may increase your risk of several diseases,

including type 2 diabetes and obesity.

Bottom Line: Poor sleep and excess stress may disrupt the levels of several important

appetite-regulating hormones, causing you to eat more.

10.

Eliminate Sugary Drinks

Added sugar may very well be the single worst ingredient in the diet today.

Sugary beverages, like soda, have been associated with an increased risk of many Western diseases.

It's very easy to take in massive amounts of excess calories from sugary drinks, because

liquid calories don't affect fullness like solid food does.

Staying away from these beverages entirely can provide enormous long-term health benefits.

However, note that you should not replace soda with fruit juice, as it can be just as

high in sugar.

Healthy beverages to drink instead include water, coffee and green tea.

Bottom Line: Sugary drinks have been linked to an increased risk of weight gain and many

diseases.

The brain doesn't register liquid calories like solid foods, making you eat more.

11.

Serve Unhealthy Food on Red Plates

One weird trick is to use red plates to help you eat less.

At least, this seems to work with unhealthy snack foods.

One study reported that volunteers ate fewer pretzels from red plates, compared to white

or blue plates.

The explanation may be that we associate the color red with stop signals and other man-made

warnings.

Bottom Line: Red plates may help you eat less unhealthy snack foods.

This may be because the color red triggers a stop reaction.

There are many simple lifestyle habits that can help you lose weight, some of which have

nothing to do with conventional diet or exercise plans.

You can use smaller plates, eat more slowly, drink water and avoid eating in front of the

TV or computer.

Prioritizing foods rich in protein and viscous fiber may also help.

However, I wouldn't try all these things at once.

Start to experiment with one tip for a while, and if that works well and is sustainable

for you then try another one.

A few simple changes can have a massive impact over the long term.

Which one's your favourite?

I think most people would say the McLaren, but I've

always been a sucker for the Aston Martin.

Why?

They just got a bit of class, you know.

It's not all about, go fast.

Looks pretty.

It's a gentleman's car.

[Music]

[Music Continues]

Is this, um...

Is this Hong Kong as we know it?

No, this is like,

this is like Mainland China.

We're a long way out on the MTR.

We're going to

I think it's called The World Technology Centre.

We're trying to find the only distributor in Hong Kong

for a particular piece of wireless microphone technology.

So that, when we're filming stuff like this,

you can actually hear me and I don't have to shout over all the traffic.

It's a special um,

a special mic.

That's been made for the GoPro.

And we want to try at GoPro. See if we can get some good quality.

We can only do it if we've got like a Lav mic

to pick up the audio.

So, we researched it, we phoned them.

We have no idea where we are. We've just come out here on the MTR,

looking at Google Maps all the time.

But fingers crossed, they've got it in stock.

So, when I phoned them

they said, yes.

But, I think with the broken English they probably would have said yes to anything I asked.

So, we're on bit of an adventure and hopefully it works out.

We don't actually want Millennial [**].

- We wanna keep going don't we? - We'll go through there and go left.

- Right. - We'll go around the back and --

This is all the six phases.

So we just came at to the middle of nowhere.

We appear to be in an office block.

I thought this was like a big

technology mall full of shops that had cool gadgets and stuff.

But looking at this board and this building,

we appear to be in the foyer of an office building, so..

I don't know where we're about to go.

It might be the distributor's office or something, but we're about to find out.

Is this just part of the fun?

It's all part of the adventure.

- Right. Hello. - Hello.

- I think I spoke to you on the phone. - Okay.

Thank you.

- Hi, how are you? - How are you?

Very well.

Thank you.

- You called this morning - Yes.

- for A1 and M1. - Excellent. Can I have a look?

- Yes. One minute, please. - Thank you.

[Woman Speaks in Cantonese]

- Hello. - Let me show you.

Do you have other products by REMOVU.

- Which? - You also have like a gimbal?

- Oh, gimbal, S1? - I think it's S1.

S1, maybe after Chinese New Year.

- No stock? - No stock.

Okay.

Do you have any of their other products in stock?

You want the gimbal or you want the accessory?

Yeah, I just wanted to know what else you have.

Oh, nice.

Let me show you.

Thank you so much.

- This accessory for GoPro. - Oh, okay.

I would like you to have a look at [this one].

I think I'll get all three of these, please.

- This, this, this? Okay. - Yes.

Is it possible for me to pay with a credit card?

- Oh sorry. - No?

- You need to pay cash. - Cash. Okay.

Can you help me find a cash machine?

Is there one downstairs?

- Are you Hong Kong bank? - Yup. HSBC.

HSBC. [She Speaks Cantonese]

Do you know where is APM?

- No, but I have a map. - Okay.

I can use probably any cash machine.

- No. You need to go to the - No?

- near the APM or [**]

- He [will] find the map for you. - Thank you.

If you, can --

you know how to, go to the bank centre is really easy.

- Okay. - Just 5 to 10 minutes.

What's the Centre called?

It's called, how to say --

- Let me show you. - Thank you.

We're in the distributors' lunchroom with their lunch

inspecting gear that I can't seem to buy anywhere else in the world.

It's not a shop

and they won't let me pay with the credit card.

I'd have to go and get cash out somewhere and come back and pay.

This is cool. These are the adventures that you have in Asia when you're

hustling, trying to build

a content strategy that involves wireless audio.

So, worth the trip.

- HSBC? - Here. Here.

- It's our company… - Oh, yeah.

[Indistinct]

Thank you.

Yup.

1590.

- 20 - 520, I'm sorry.

- Okay. Thank you. - Okay.

- All right. I'll go and get the cash. - Okay, thank you.

We'll come back.

- Thank you very much. See you soon. - Thank you. Okay, goodbye.

Hong Kong…

This way.

Now I have a map in Cantonese

to find an ATM.

What are we doing now?

Got our cash, now we're going back to pay for it.

Was that a productive trip?

Very productive.

Got what we were after, went on an adventure, saw some new stuff

and now we're in a taxi heading back

towards where we're staying. We're gonna go get some lunch

and I have to go and buy some

a camera and some camera gear

to pair with this external microphone that we just found.

So, fingers crossed.

Do you have any more meetings today?

Can't remember.

Don't think so.

I gotta call to London tonight at 7 o'clock.

Just gotta do a bit of running around playing with the time zones.

Had a couple of calls this morning to Sydney and Brisbane.

Three hours ahead, two hours ahead

and now London is like

9 hours behind, I think.

So, makes for an interesting day just trying to make sure those don't overlap

and you can still get out and get things done during business hours here.

All good.

Is it good to have the flexibility to do things like this?

It's all about freedom and flexibility, you know.

We work hard and get a lot done,

but it's about being able to play your own hours, so that you can manage to get

stuff like this done in between time zones

and maximise every minute.

If I was behind a desk 9-to-5, I wouldn't be able to do half the stuff I do.

Top 10 Maserati Car Models Of All Time - Duration: 5:55.

What's now considered to be one of the most renowned automakers in the world was started

on December 1, 1914 as a small car repair shop in Bologna, Italy.

It was on that day that four brothers, Alfieri, Bindo, Carlo, Ernesto, and Ettore, came together

to build a business that would become an empire.

Fast forward more than a century, and the Maserati name is synonymous with style, sophistication,

and luxury.

The company has designed some incredible cars during its history, and getting your hands

on any Maserati will cost a tidy sum.

Here are the top 10 Maserati cars of all time.

10.

The Maserati Merak 1,830 Maserati Merak were made between 1972

and 1983.

These vintage cars are typically sold for at least $50,000.

09.

Maserati Alfieri This 2+2 coupe has bold curves and draws heavily

from the A6GCS that Pininfarina designed for Maserati in the mid 1950s.

It will come equipped with a six speed automatic transmission and 4.7 liter V8 engine.

The sales price of the Maserati Alfieri will start at $100,000.

08.

Maserati Quattroporte It features an intriguing mix of angles and

curves, large windows, and a distinctive grille.

The first generation of the Quattroporte lead to five more iterations of the series.

The most current model launched in 2013 and has taken many cues from its predecessors.

The price for a modern Maserati Quattroporte starts at $106,900.

07.

Maserati Ghibli This car was initially produced from 1967

to 1973 as a V8 GT, and then again as a coupe with a V6 twin turbo engine from 1992 to 1997.

Since 2013, the Maserati Ghibli has been re-imagined as a mid-size luxury sedan with a 4-door saloon

body, twin turbocharged 3.0 liter engine, and irresistible interior features.

Snagging a modern day version of the Maserati Ghibli costs at least $70,600.

For an older model, expect to fork over $130,000 or more.

06.

Maserati GranTurismo This is one of the latest collaborations between

Pininfarina and Maserati, and it's incredible.

This four seater coupe features a 4.2 or 4.7 liter engine, 6 speed automatic transmission,

and an interior that is the very definition of luxury and comfort.

The GranTurismo was first produced in 2007.

You can get your hands on the latest Maserati GranTurismo for $132,825.

05.

Maserati 3500 GT This 2 door grand tourer was produced by Maserati

between 1957 and 1964.

A low roofline, 3.5 liter engine, and beautiful details made it a drool worthy car back then,

and auto lovers still adore it today.

2,210 of the Maserati 3500 GT were produced, and to own one today will cost at least $180,000.

04.

Maserati MC12 When the MC12 was first revealed as a race

car and put on courses, spectators swooned over it.

It was Maserati's return to racing after a nearly 40 year hiatus, and this car didn't

disappoint.

Counting the 12 cars created for racing, just 62 of the Maserati MC12 were made.

25 of the cars were produced for road use in 2004, and then another set of 25 was manufactured

in 2005.

These cars never made it to show rooms, because they were all pre-sold for $669,600.

03.

Maserati A6GCS/53 It's a racing car that has an elegant, iconic

profile and is one of the most famous cars that Maserati has ever made.

If you can find one at auction, expect to pay at least $2,200,000 for a A6GCS/53.

02.

Maserati Birdcage 75th This concept car is so unlike anything that

Maserati has ever introduced, but that's totally fitting for the brand and the occasion.

The body is a smooth one-door berlinetta with canopy doors.

The Maserati Birdcage 75th is powered by the same engine used in the Enzo Ferrari and it

also has a 6 speed automatic transmission and 700 brake horsepower.

It's not possible to buy this car, but its estimated value tops $3 million.

01.

Maserati Tipo 61 The Maserati Tipo 61, also known as the Birdcage,

was built to be a race car with great speed, power, and endurance.

Few wouldn't recognize its open top design and dramatic wheel arches, and it claimed

its place in the racing world as a winner.

On the rare occasion that a Maserati Tipo 61 shows up at auction, it typically fetches

over $3,500,000.
