残念！気に入らなかったコスメ 2016 Disappointing Makeup Products (Eng Sub) - Duration: 8:13.

Hello everyone!

Today I'm going to talk about Disappointing Beauty Products of 2016

These are the products that I don't really recommend

Please keep in mind, each person has different skin types, lifestyle, and preferences, so they may work for you...

It's just my opinion based on my skin type, preferences etc... either just didn't meet my expectations or they just didn't work for me...

So hopefully you will just enjoy watching what these products really are

ok let's jump right in.

First product is Sephora Nano eye pencil in Chlorophyll

This is a color eyeliner

I like this sparkly green color but the formula isn't that great.

This is so hard and not pigmented at all.

I have to apply a lot of pressure to get any of it to show up on my eyelid. It hurts to use.

you know the skin around your eyes is thin, delicate and sensitive, so I don't want to use this pencil...

And last time I checked, this has been discontinued, so it kind of makes sense why

Next up is Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Ergonomic Felt-Tip Liner + Serum

There are a couple of reasons why it didn't work for me.

I don't really like the shape of this eyeliner.

I think I prefer a pen form eyeliner which is comfortable to hold.

You have to hold it like this..so I found it hard to maneuver.

Especially when I need to work on a small area or make it a winged liner, it's hard to control.

So yeah I prefer the pen form

I've realized that I like the brush tip. I don't like the thin pointed marker tip as much.

I found that it did not create a clean straight line. The application is inconsistent.

And the biggest reason is that it barely lasts a few hours. my wing seemed to fade...

especially when I'm busy being out all day

This is Maybelline MASTER PRIME LONG-LASTING EYE SHADOW BASE

I think this just came out last year.

When I first saw this product, I thought I could use it as a cream eyeshadow because of the shimmery frosty shade.

They swatch quite nicely with decent pigment but once applied and blended they sheer out considerably so color isn't really detectable

So I thought to myself, I would use this as a primer.

So I used this as a base... but then it was very drying on my lid

After it dried it has a shimmery appearance which emphasis the creepy texture more and does not make the skin look smooth.

It's definitely not for me since I have dry skin

I will go back to my favorite primer.

This is Wet n Wild Photofocus lash primer

I've always loved Japanese lash primers.

They have good lash primers with affordable price.

I'm looking for a good lash primer at American drugstores without any luck

This was $4

This didn't meet my expectations.

This doesn't hold a curl

it adds NO volume or drama, doesn't build up my lashes whatsoever.

So I don't really need to use this...

But if you want to use a primer that condition lashes as well as strengthen them this might be a great choice.

or if you want the primer that makes mascara very easy to remove at the end of the day.

But I don't use a lash primer for those reasons.

so this just didn't cut it

Next up is Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color

Liquid Lipsticks are drying in general

So I try to use something that doesn't dry out my lips.

But this was overly drying

It feels good when you first put it on, then it seems to absorb in your lips and becomes very dry.

I have to apply a lip balm over it.

The formula causes my lips to peel and crack after a few hours of wear.

I exfoliate my lips a lot... Like, religiously.

No matter how often or how much or how soft and smooth my lips are, this happens EVERY time with this liquid lipstick.

After I use this, I have to give my lips a break by only wearing a lip balm.

But other colors might be different.

Different colors have different formulas

This might be the only one that is drying.

This is Strawberry Cheesecake

Other colors might not have the same problem :)

The last product is Shea Moisture Weightless Shea Serum Foundation

So I first purchased this because I've heard this is a good foundation for dry skin.

this made my face extremely oily

Like literaly oil separated from the pigment... it left me looking and feeling greasy rather than fresh and dewy

the foundation was easily transferred onto my clothing because of it not setting. it rubbed off on even the slightest touch.

Shea Moisture is pretty expensive compared to other drugstore makeup brands.

This was $15

I guess because they care about ingredients

SheaMoisture products are made with all natural and certified organic ingredients.

it says products don't contain Parabens, Mineral Oil, and such

it also says it doesn't contain Synthetic Fragrance

But I feel like there are so many options at drugstore... I can easily find something that costs less than $15 and gives me a nice dewy finish

So yes I chose this as a disappointing product.

Well, I've been doing my performance everywhere

But there was a reason behind. I have a dream

In order to achive my dream, I have to meet so many people around the world

Where if I go I can find them, what time if I'm there I can find them

For instace, the city is popular to live in amongst the locals, but how about a next block of the same city?

Is it still popular?

That kind of thing, I needed to reaserch

Free hugs was a very perfect idea for that

Just holding the signs and standing on the road

I could've seen what kind of people were there and not there

I have tried in Shibuya, Asakusa... I think I did most of sight-seeing spots in Tokyo

Like Ueno, under the Tokyo Skytree, but I had to stop for after starting

From that moment I learnt; "Oh, I can't do it here... Okay, I see"

But so many travelers and I have an opportunity here, remember that

Ueno's Ameya-Yokocho wasn't that easy either, harder than I expected

I learn all those experiences after I tried myself

Asakusa was strict for performers. Especially in the main street of Senso-ji district

(One of a shop's owner in that district) She came to asked me; "Do you have a performing licence for here?"

Oh well, I didn't... I thought, this city must have other performers... Yeah, no wonder...

I also have tried different spots in Shinjuku

The thing was , these main street of Shinjuku were already taken by others

Especially the areas under the outdoor lamps

And those people would work there all the time

So I learnt their territories after trying so many times

This spot wasn't good, but that spot was able to okay...

Shibuya was the same. Spots were taken by them

I was like, I was able to develop my terittory step by step like they do

That's the image of my performance

I think I did the performances in Shibuya 70 times of 99 times so far

That's the number...

Yeah, it's a lot, right?

Shibuya was the most comfortable place?

More like, Shibuya was the most diverse city

Accept different type of people, ages, countries-friendly no matter what!

It's like, yeah, you know it's Shibuya!

I felt that way after all my experiences

Of course they weren't all liking what I'm doing. But there were so many people liking it

Those people came to me to give me hugs

Those people never looked down on me...

To be honest, the moment of a hug is just 5 seconds

They said; "It's good" "That's a great idea!" "I needed that!" "Thanks!"

Those people were always cheering me up, making me feel comfortable around them

It always fun around those people who have a positive mindset...

I really like talking about our dreams. They were from different countries and, different ages

So many of them impressed me all the time!

I only met them through free hugs. Once talking with them,

oh my god, they blew my mind. Ages didn't matter! I found their thoughts were cool enough!

Luckily enough, so many opportunites came to me!

Thus, I performed in Shibuya most of the times

to share with our viewers today

how to use fabric scraps in their quilts.

If your scrap bin is like mine,

it's overflowing with scraps of all sizes and shapes.

Learning to string-piece is an ideal scrap-buster.

The square blocks in my Garden Window Quilt

are made with strings of fabric.

The secondary pattern is created

with the addition of hourglass blocks.

This is a great way to make a bigger quilt

with fewer string-pieced blocks.

- "Every Last Piece,"

that's what's coming up next on Sewing with Nancy.

- Lynn creates many blocks of scraps-- string blocks--

at a time, and this is one of her collections.

Lynn, I wish I had this collection of blocks

to work with.

And you can see the variety of fabrics

that she puts together

to create a 6 1/2" block.

And that's what was used to create the Garden Window Quilt.

You can see it alternating again

with the hourglass blocks.

But, Lynn, you didn't cut strips

6 1/2" when you started.

- No, I didn't.

I work directly from my scrap bin,

and I usually just

dump it out next to my sewing machine.

And these are the scraps that are kind of long, skinny bits.

So I will take them up--

I'm working to my rotary-cutting template,

and I'll check to make sure that they're long enough

that I can later trim to it,

and I will sew them together.

And I'm gonna be using a 1/4" seam,

but the pieces-- they don't have to be

the same size as each other.

They can be a variety of widths.

How To Make Old-Fashioned Crunchy Fermented Garlic-Dill Pickles In A 1-Gallon Stoneware Crock - Duration: 3:10.

- Hey there, I'm Wardee, from Traditional Cooking School

and I'm the author of The Complete

Idiot's Guide to Fermenting Foods.

One of my favorite ferments are pickles.

These are beautiful, garlic, dill pickles

and they are so easy to make at home.

These are not your regular vinegar pickles

you'll find in the grocery store.

These are fermented with salt

and once pickled there's an explosion

of vitamins, enzymes, probiotics, beneficial acids,

but most importantly

(crunching)

a delicious crunch.

These are so good, they're really easy to make.

So let's get in the kitchen

and I'll show you how to do it.

Cucumbers, they should be pickling cucumbers

ideally, but otherwise, thin skinned

cucumbers like Mediterranean cucumbers.

Put them in cold water for ten

to thirty minutes to crisp them up.

I need enough to fill the Ohio Stoneware

gallon size fermenting crock.

Make your brine.

Combine half gallon of good filtered water

with six tablespoons of unrefined sea salt.

Stir well to dissolve the salt.

Then cut the ends off each cucumber

and put them in a bowl.

Also, have ready 12 cloves peeled garlic,

four teaspoons dill seed,

and one teaspoon black tea leaves.

The tannins in the black tea help the pickles stay crisp.

You can also use oak leaves.

Start packing the crock with cucumbers.

Every so often, sprinkle in some dill seeds,

a few cloves of garlic and some black tea.

Keep packing the cucumbers, stopping to sprinkle more

of the other ingredients along the way.

When the crock is full to within three

to four inches of the top, stop adding ingredients.

Pour the brine over all of it

so the cucumbers are submerged.

Place the stone weights on top,

they will make sure the cucumbers

stay below the surface of the brine,

which is really important so your pickles turn out.

Add the lid of the crock,

and now you'll leave the cucumbers to ferment

at room temperature for three to seven days.

Because my cucumbers were larger

and the house is cooler right now,

I let mine ferment for four to five days on this batch.

When they are done, remove the lid and plates.

It is completely normal to see bubbles at the top

and also for the brine to get cloudy.

Try out your pickles.

Taste them, they should be crunchy and salty.

They may not be fully pickled through

the entire cucumber but that's okay.

Transfer to a gallon sized glass jar

and store in the fridge.

You can eat them right away

or let them age longer in the fridge.

So now you can see why this one

gallon crock from Ohio Stoneware

is one of my favorite kitchen tools.

Pickles, sauerkraut, kimchi,

all kinds of fermented goodies come out of this.

So I highly recommend it, you gotta get one.
