Whenever I see the village register I see a lot of thumb impressions as signatures.
I felt that apart from my job, I should do something to help the villagers.
Let's free the villagers of using thumb impressions.
The villagers readily agreed to our plan.
When I saw their faces after they wrote their names, they were extremely happy.
The teachers here are helping us.
The school children are also helping us.
We wrote their parents names in their notebooks,
and tell the kids to make their parents rewrite it.
Earlier we couldn't tell if the mothers were doing their homework
but when I saw them signing their name in my register,
I was happy that the children are doing exactly what we are doing for them.
Earlier mum couldn't write anything.
but we insisted and now she also taught dad.
The girls in my school are more interested in learning.
If a girl is educated, she educates four generations.
She educates her maternal home, educates her children
and educates the future generation.
A for apple, f for fruit, x for nothing.
I want to grow up to be a doctor.
That's why am trying to excel in Science and English.
We're not going to stop this campaign yet,
this will go on.
After this, we'll teach them alphabets and words.
We'll start schools for adults.
The elders who can write their names have become
so confident as if they've earned a degree.
We need to nurture the confidence of our girls.
We're only trying to create a healthy environment for that.
No doubt they can soar very high.
If you observe, when it comes to education, girls are the best medium.
If every villager learns to write their name, they'll no longer be illiterate.
It is our responsibility to teach all the parents.

Heart with beads for Valentine's Day - Duration: 2:58.
Hi, this Joelle Meijer.
I would like to show you an excellent project for developing fine motor skills:
a heart of beads.
Do you remember the Christmas cane made with beads?
Have you noticed that if you make two canes and hold them facing each other,
you get the shape of a heart?
That is what I propose to do this time, but using a single piece of pipe cleaner.
Take a red pipe cleaner and fold it in half.
Put on a first red bead that you place in the bend of the pipe cleaner.
Then, put red beads on the two branches of the pipe cleaner.
Preferably, use the same number of beads on both branches.
When you are satisfied with the length covered with beads, bend each branch
of the pipe cleaner in the shape of a cane so that, together, they form a heart.
Then, string a last bead on both ends of the pipe cleaner together to close the heart.
Before pushing it all the way, put a dot of hot glue and then push the bead into place.
Cut the excess pipe cleaner.
And there you have a first heart of beads that you can give as a gift
or that you can glue on a Valentine's Day Card.
Another way to make a Valentine's Day heart is to use a thin metal wire.
I used a 20 gauge stem wire; it is thin enough to fold easily but thick enough
to keep the shape you give it.
Proceed as with the pipe cleaner.
Fold the metal wire in half and string a first bead on it.
Then put beads on both sides of the metal wire.
This time I alternated red and pink translucent beads.
When you are satisfied, bend both sides of the metal wire to form a heart.
Then string a bead on the two wires together.
To better keep the two ends of the wire together, you can twist them
but that is not absolutely necessary.
Put a dot of hot glue and add another bead.
Cut off any excess wire.
Now, take a red ribbon.
Fold the ribbon in half and tie a knot at the end.
Then, make a loop in the centre of the heart with the ribbon.
Hang the heart in front of a window and observe the light passing through the coloured beads.

Welcome back.
Today we're talking about how you can make extra money.
I'm going to give you three specific ways you can make extra money today, like right
now, like not now but right now.
Well, after you watch this video.
I have been on a mission to help millennials and young people, and people just like you,
to make extra money.
It's one of the reasons that I started my business.
I really want to help you figure out what actually works and then what doesn't work,
get rid of the stuff that doesn't work, and do the stuff that actually works.
Here are three ways you could make extra money.
First way is by using a service that allows you to make money while you're surfing the
Internet.
So, when you go to different websites, usually you see ads on the website, right?
There's a service that basically shares some of that revenue with you.
So, when you use this website, they'll actually kind of give you a kickback, and I'm actually
going to show you exactly how you can get $5 right now.
So, if you use this service called Swagbucks, it allows you to surf the Web, do everything
you would normally do on the Internet, and earn money.
And if you sign up using my partner link, then you'll get $5, if this promotion is still
going on.
I'll leave details in the Description box, and I'll be sure to update it in case the
promotion is no longer happening, but I definitely recommend Swagbucks as a way for you to earn
extra money by doing what you are already going to be doing anyway, which is surfing
the Web.
Five dollars, that's pretty cool.
A couple of cents here and there as you're surfing the Web, yeah, that's pretty neat,
but how do we make even more money, right?
Let me give you my second way to earn extra income.
All right, this second way will be really, really helpful for you if you have a bubbly
personality or if you can pretend to have a bubbly personality for about an hour while
you pass out stuff.
When I was in college, I worked as a brand ambassador for several different companies,
companies like BC Powder.
I've worked for companies like Verizon Wireless and AT&T, really, just building brand awareness.
You know when you go to an event and there are people there, like guys and girls just
like me that are saying, "Hi!" and trying to get you to come over to sign your name
on a sheet or like give you something for free?
Yep, that's brand ambassador work.
Those brand ambassador gigs pay about $20 an hour.
Some of them will pay, you know, maybe $12 to $15, but some of the ones that pay even
more are the ones where you may have to speak another language.
Because I had a Spanish degree and I was proficient in Spanish, I was able to get some of those
higher paying gigs that brought me around, you know, $20 to $25 an hour.
As a college student, that is like amazing, making that much money.
And so, that's another way that you can earn extra income.
Typically, those jobs, you will pick up on the weekends.
I actually have a full how-to on How to Earn Extra Money as a Brand Ambassador, and I'll
link the details below on that because I'd love for you to grab that and get started
right away.
And now we're on to the third way that you can earn extra income.
This is one of my favorite ways, especially if you are a blogger, a YouTuber, a freelancer.
If you're here on YouTube and you're making your own videos, then listen up, this is for
you.
You can earn income by sharing products that you know and like.
So, for example, the first way that I provided for you to earn extra income was the company
that I like, called Swagbucks.
I am a partner with Swagbucks, and anytime someone signs up with them, they pay me.
I think it's a couple of dollars, pretty cool.
I get to use services that I like, I get to recommend the services that I like, and if
somebody else finds that they like them, then I make a couple of dollars.
This is called affiliate marketing.
You can earn a lot of money with affiliate marketing.
You don't necessarily need a big audience, you just have to recommend products and services
that you already know, like and trust.
The most important thing when it comes to being an affiliate marketer is only sharing
stuff that you actually believe and trust in, and I wanted to say that again because
it's so important.
If you're only sharing something to make an extra dollar, number one, you're not going
to last long, and you're not going to gain the trust of your audience.
Okay?
I only share things that I know, like, trust and believe in, and I've been able to make
hundreds and thousands each month from affiliate marketing.
I actually publish an income report every single month, where you'll be able to see
how much passive income I'm making.
Back in October, I made over $1,000 just sharing products and services that I know and like.
It's really nice extra income.
Now, I've got an entire training that will take you through the process of how you can
become an affiliate, and where to go to get started and sign up, and how I make money
and how you can make extra money.

DIY Ice Cream Cone Cake Pops - Duration: 3:47.

I am Jill and today I have some friends to help me.
I met the girls mom at our local dog park.
And found out we all like to bake.
We are making Mini Ice Cream Cone Cake Pops
First make sure you watch my video on Making Cake Pops
Then we can show you how to turn them into ice cream cone cake pops
You will need are pre-made cake pops
Watch our video on how to make
Use candy melts or almond bark.
Shortening or oil does help it thin out for dipping
You need mini ice cream cones. You can go to link below or see if you can find at a local store
Or ask at your local restaurant that offers soft serve ice cream
Cookie sticks and colorful edible sprinkles
And mini red candies or cinnamon red hots for the top of the ice cream
You will need foam blocks or cardboard box
We are ready to make our mini ice cream cone cake pops
I made one to show you how cute they are
Take pre-made cake pops and dip in melted candy melts
I thinned out the candy melts with shortening
Now tap and twist to get excess off
Do not add water to candy melts
Pull the cookie stick through the cone and let rest on the cake pop
Add sprinkles while candy melts are still wet
I like the softer sprinkles than sugar crystals
Now add the red hot for the cherry on top
Use a red M & M or any red candy
There you have you mini ice cream cone cake pop
Girls, are you ready?
It takes about 20 minutes to dry and then you are ready to serve
Cake pops are like cupcakes. Everyone gets their own slice of cake
Very good job make them
As you can see how simple it is to make
Here I filled a jar will candy sprinkles to hold the cake pops

On Writing Flashbacks - Duration: 2:09.
How community of awesome, I'm Ava Jae and this is bookishpixie.
You guys have been asking me some really great questions as of late so keep that up, and
I've got another one to answer today.
"I was wondering if you could do a video on how you would do flashbacks in a story.
I'm really struggling on how to tell some backstory without giving too much away.
Also, could you explain what POV and tense you should use?"
All right, so, flashbacks.
Flashbacks are really useful and good to use to a point.
Like any other thing in writing, the key here is balance.
The good thing about flashbacks is it allows you to show background information without info dumping.
That said, you _can_ overdo it.
The thing with flashbacks is you can use a little bit here, and a little bit there, and
that'll be okay, but if you use _too_ much then you're going to drown your manuscript
in nostalgia and grind the pacing down to a halt.
I think flashbacks are good when you want to reveal a significant event in your character's
life, and you want it to feel as important and immediate as the rest of the plot.
But as a rule, you should only use flashbacks to reveal an event the readers _need_ to know
in order to understand the plot and the characters.
When deciding whether or not to use a flashback ask yourself these two questions:
1. Is this event or information vital to understanding the plot or characters? And
2. Is this the most effective way to reveal this information?
Your answers should be a definite yes to both of those questions.
Otherwise you'll want to go back to brainstorming and figure out whether or not you really need
to reveal that information, or if it'd be better to reveal it in a different way.
As for how to write a flashback, there are two common ways.
1. Your point of view character thinks about whatever event you're flashing back to, or
2. Your point of view character dreams about whatever event you're flashing back to.
Generally, your point of view and tense in the flashback should match the rest of the manuscript.
Though sometimes if you're writing in present tense you can write in past tense for the
flashback, but you don't have to.
But when writing a flashback you want to get right to the important information and then get out. Don't linger.
Just make sure that you have a concrete justification for every flashback, because like every other
part of your book, you need a good reason for it.
And that, my friends, is how you write a flashback.
