Πως καλύπτω την ακμή μου|How I cover my acne(English subtitles)|Elena Merry - Duration: 11:31.

Hi

My name is Elena

And today I am going to show you

how I cover my acne

Before I start this video

I would like to say that I don't believe that everybody should wear makeup

and to cover their acne

It's just something that I do

and I don't do it every single day

I do it when I want my skin to look even let's say when I have to go on a night out

If you do it every single day it's your choice

And for me it's my choice to wear makeup

Because I like makeup

But I don't think everybody

has to cover their acne

It's a personal choice

I have had acne since I was 13 and I am almost 17

It's have been almost 4 years

I use special face wash and creams that my dermatologist succested

They have helped a lot but

They said it's an age thing

They also said that I will have acne for a quite some time

I am going to show you how I cover my acne what I do before

I cover my acne

and all the process

so let's start

Let's start

My face is very well washed

I used a scrub because I wanted to clean my pores very well and to remove the dead skin

I have also moisturize my skin with a moisturizer

The moisturizer that I used I got it especially for my skin from the pharmacy

And it's from Frezyderm

And it's the acne norm

It's very light on the skin

and I believe it's very good for problematic skin

because when you have acne you tend to have oily skin and you need

and you need a moisturizer that's very light on the skin

Now I am going to put primer on

I am going to use from Nyx the Angel Veil

primer is very important because it helps your makeup stay on all night

because it fills your pores and the makeup has something to stick on

I put on the size of a pea

and I apply on the T area

where our skin produces more oil and breaks down your makeup

I am also applying on my cheeks where my pores are big

and very gentle I work the primer in to my skin

before I put on the foundation I put concealer

on my very problematic areas

like my nose

because it's very red

because I have sensitive skin

and on some other areas and under my eyes

so I want need to but a lot of foundation

so I put concealer where I need to

For concealer I am taking from NYX the HD studio photogenic

in the colour porcelain

and I put everywhere I need to

now that I look crazy I am going to blend it

using a damp beauty blender from H&M it cost 2,99 eur

now I am going to apply my foundation

and I am using from Loreal the True Match foundation

In the colour golden ivory

I put it on the back of my hand

and I apply with a foundation brush

I like to work in sections and then blend in

now I am going back to my concealer and apply anywhere I think I need more coverage

If you want you can leave it like that but I want some extra coverage

and I am going to put on my nose, my cheeks and under my eyes

now I am going to set my face

using the matte maker by Maybelline

with a brush like this

I am not rabbing I am doing a dabbing motion with the brush so I will not move the foundation

I am also setting my neck since I applied foundation there so my face and my neck match

before I set under my eyes, over my eyes and around my nose

I make sure my concealer didn't crease

I take my beauty blender and go over and under my eyes

and then I set

I do the same and around my nose

I am going to take a kabuki brush and blend my skin so I can take off the extra powder

now I am going to do my eyebrows I have a video on how I do them I am going to leave it down below

because my face looks flat I am going to contour

so I can bring back some natural shades in my face

I am going to take from Maybelline the master sculpt

and an angled brush

and I am going to contour under my cheekbones ,my jaw,on the sides of my nose

on my temples and my forehead

because we applied makeup we lost the natural tan we have from the sun and the pink on our cheeks

I am going to use a bronzer to bring back the natural tan I have from the sun

with a simple brush and

and form the number 3

now I am going to take the powder that I used to set and the brush that I used and clean under my contour

to bring back the pink in my cheeks I am going to take a blush from Golder Rose in the colour 204

and I am going to apply it with a fluffy brush

I will apply it on cheeks going outwards

now to blend everything together

I am going to take the matte maker by Maybelline and a kabuki brush and blend

before I apply highlighter I am going to do a simple look on my eyes

so my eyes don't get lost on my face

I am not going to go on detail on what I am doing because the reason behind this video is to show you how I cover my acne

I am just going to use a small eyeshadow palette from Bell with 4 matte eyeshadows

and my eyeshadow palette from NYX the adorable

when we lost the natural tan from the sun we also lost the glow from are skin

to brink back the glow I am going to use a highlighter stick from H&M

and Iam going to apply it using my fingers

my hands are clean

and I am going to apply it on the high points of my face

over me cheekbones

on my nose

over and under my eyebrows

and on my cupid's bone

If you like you can leave it like that

but I like some extra glow

so I am also going to apply a powder highlighter

It's from NYX in the colour ritualistic

and before I apply it I am going to use a NYX setting spray

it helps when you have applied powders because it makes them melt in your skin and look more natural

I am going to apply the highlighter with a fan brush

over my cream highlighter

the reason that I applied the highlighter after I set my face is that

I wanted my skin to be damp

so the highlighter would be more intense

because I want to brighten my eyes I am going to apply cream highlighter on my inner corners

now I am going to do my mascara and lips

for mascara I am going to use from Maybelline the lash sensational

and for lips I am going to use from Sleek Makeup the matte me in the colour Shabby chic

this was the video I hope you liked it

if you liked it don't forget to give it a thumps up

and comment down below want you would like to see from me

and subscribe to my channel so you can be notified when I upload and to support me

until the next time

BYYEEE

DIY How I Made Cute Gingham Dress | I Wear A Bow - Duration: 9:44.

Hi, I'm Bonita!

Today I want to show you how I made this cute gingham dress.

So let's start crafting~

This is not really a tutorial.

Because I don't think I can show a clear step by step explanation for my first time showing

a sewing clothes tutorial from scratch.

I just record how I made my dress to you, in hope you guys can get inspirations hehe.

So for this one, I made the pattern by tracing my old clothes onto paper.

For the sleeve curve, I used tracing paper to help me.

The first one I trace is the back of the body.

I also add seam allowance on all edges in this pattern.

And then I fold the paper and cut it so there will be a copy to the other side.

Then I cut the neckline to one side for the front body part.

After that I trace the sleeve for the sleeve pattern.

That blue paper is a tracing paper.

Then I try to copy the half sleeve onto the other side using tracing paper help.

I added seam allowance on all edges, then cut the pattern.

Now it's time to cut the fabric.

Because I didn't want to add zipper, I fold the fabric like this.

Then I place the pattern and trace it again with fabric chalk.

After that I cut the fabric carefully.

I did this to the other side with the back body pattern.

For the sleeve I fold the fabric in half and trace the pattern.

Then I cut the body pattern in half.

And pin them together on the shoulder.

This helped me to make the collar.

So I trace the neckline to make the collar pattern.

Then I add seam allowance just on the bottom line.

I wanted a peter pan collar so I made a curve to this collar.

And this is the peter pan collar pattern.

I cut two pairs of fabric for the collar.

Also cut the interfacing for each pair.

Iron the interfacing so It's sticked.

Now I trace the neckline of every body part for neckline facing.

Oh yeah don't forget to add seam allowance on the fabric cut later for this.

It's time for sewing!

I placed the body right side to right side and sew the shoulder.

Next I wanted to sew the sleeve.

So I put it right side facing the right side of body.

Mark where the center is, and pin the sleeve around to the body.

And then sew it.

After that sew the back and front side.

Now it's time to sew the collar.

After turn the collar right side out, I like to iron it so it's flat.

Sew the neckline facing together.

Don't forget to zig-zag stitch or overlock the edge.

Now it's time to put the collar to the body.

First, I pin it.

Then I stitch it in place temporarily with running stitch.

After that add the neckline facing on top of it, right side facing together and pin it

Then sew it.

After that I like to topstitch the facing with the body.

Next I made the skirt part.

My skirt is a rectangle with at least twice of my waist size and the length is approximately

55cm I guess.

Then I gathered the rectangle on the waist line so it will create a skirt look.

Then sew the opening edge, right side facing right side.

Now I want to attach the skirt to the body.

I pin the body waist line to the skirt waist line.

And then sew them together.

Then I hem the skirt by folding the edge twice and sew it.

This is how the hem looks like.

Let's try it out first..

Ukhh.. ukh..

Turned out the neckline is not wide enough for my head haha.

To fix this, I cut the center back part a little bit.

Then I trace the cut line to make a facing.

Now I put the facing on top, and add a ribbon loop inside it.

Then I sew it.

Here I clip the "v" part, but didn't cut the seams.

This is to make the facing folded easily on the "v" side.

Then I topstitch it.

Now to finish the neck part.

I fold the neckline facing to the inside and sew them with hand stitches.

I don't know the name of the stitches, but it's kind of invisible to the front side.

I also made ruffles on the sleeve.

The method is the same like I made the skirt, just gathered a rectangle and attach it.

And I also added laces on the front.

And yeay it's finished!

Now it's time to wear it with proud!

BEING HONEST WITH YOU : I FEEL LOST. - KOREAN MOM'S CONFESSION | Family vlog ep. 107. - Duration: 23:14.

This is a heaven for me!

I need to confess to James.

How come these barbies dolls don't look like me?

I checked some dolls in Korea.

Don't look, ok?

It's a surprise.

We came to our hotel room.

Yeah. We came back from Orlando.

I didn't vlog at all.

It was just too much.

You know, me with two kids...

and.... (sigh)

Lots of stuff was happening. so..

In room delivery...

I wanna go to Korean restaurant or something.

I feel like eating some Kimbap.

or Bibimbap.

So, I will show you. This is our hotel room.

Yeah... TV, Closet? What's in there?

OK. Mirror.

Another mirror.

Bathroom.../ Yeah.

So, so... tonight.

We are gonna take a bath here.

and sleep here, ok?

I felt like eating some Korean snacks so we came to...

some Asian market.

This is a heaven for me!

Hmmm... maybe they might have

the ramen noodle that is super super spicy.

look at this, I found it.

핵 불닭볶음면 (Hot Chicken Floavored Ramen)

So, you know...

This one is the one that people have been challenging.

and....

This one is basically

Twi... 2 times spicy. Twice spicy

And limited edition

Let's... Let's try!

Nuclear!

And 핵 means nuclear. So, nuclear spicy.

I have been actually looking for this in my area.

And, they are not selling it.

In Washington DC, I found this.

This room is where we are gonna stay tonight.

James was supposed to come this morning.

but James called me saying that

he missed his connecting flight.

He's gonna come tomorrow morning.

So... we decided to come to our friends' house

and stay tonight rather than staying at the hotel.

Here is the butter.

I can do butter.../ You can get one of those out for us? / Yes.

OK. Just a minute. You can... I will give you a job, too. OK?

Oh! Good! Good. Now put

They are about to make some cookies.

Show mommy your measuring cups.

Wow!

Good job!

Good job! Yes!

Very nice. OK. You can get the other kind of sugar.

Yay! / That's a big one.

That's a big one. Good work.

It goes super fast!

Yeah. It does!

We are just gonna wait for it to mix and mix and mix.

Making cookies.

Two!

OK. 11 will be next, huh?

Yes. And 12. / And 12 after that.

Here is 11.

I think the oven is probably ready.

Yeah. I'm ready, too. / OK

Hot. / It is hot.

Yay!

It was so fun./ Hello! / Hello!

Our friend, Kyle and Marry

We're gonna have dinner!

Daddy came!

Did you miss Daddy? / Yeah./ I missed you guys.

This morning, we couldn't wake up to

go pick James up. So, James came.

One bathroom./ Came here!

How was the flight, honey? / Oh.. it was terrible. So long.

Did you guys have fun? / Yes.

I brought you some nice presents, ok?

Where is it?

It's in my bag. / in your bag? / Yeah. /OK

I will show you to you when we get home. OK? / OK.

I brought you some presents, too. OK?

We came back home finally. and...

Yuri went back to school.

Yeah. Actually, right now, she's at school.

And today is a little cloudy.

So....

There was one thing that I didn't tell you guys about

And I kept it as a secret

even from James.

and I had to make a confession to him

when he came back. And that's....

I had an accident.

before I left for Orlando.

It was me scratching my car against

a wall of a parking lot.

I was freaking out.

So, a lot of paints came off from my car.

It looked pretty ugly, and I didn't tell James right away because

I knew that he's on a business trip and

I didn't want to disturb him, so..

After he came back, I had to tell him

OK so.. we are on our way home.

Yeah. This is not our house.

We are gonna have some lunch!

It's a Mexican restaurant.

OK. I need to...

confess to James

Honey, I have a confession to make.

Look at the car.

Look at the car.

Look at the car.

Here.

What happened?

How did you scratch it?

How?

I was parking..

I am sorry, honey.

I'm sorry./ You don't need to be sorry.

Is it repairable?

We have to get it painted again./ Fixable?

You have to paint it again?

James and Yuri went to the restroom and

while they are their now.

We got our food!

shrimp fajita.

Lunch special.

Burrito Popeye.

He didn't really get mad. I kinda thought that he might get mad, but

he didn't.

I mean, it was an accident, what can you do, right?

So..

And then, I uploaded a video yesterday.

and Oh My Gosh.

After I uploaded the video

The incident that Yuri said she doesn't want to be a brown girl

I sort of realized that

Maybe what I have been doing was wrong.

I will show you all the dolls that they have.

So, these are the dolls that they have.

So, these stuffed animals are very famous cartoon characters in Korea.

and this one is Pororo.

and then, his friends.

They are basically boys.

These two are still in Pororo cartoon.

They are girls.

and so...

Dasomi likes them.

and her favorite is this pink one.

and what's her name?

Somi?

What's.... what's her name?

Loopy? / Yeah.

Loopy.

and Petty? / And Petty.

So.../ And...

Gyagya?

Her name is Gyagya?

So, yeah. They named her Gyagya.

It's just... 아기... It's a baby.

when I had a baby,

church members brought us some gifts.

and I got this baby doll

from anonymous person

from church

We never had any

White dolls except for that baby doll

They didn't have any barbie dolls or this type of plastic dolls

until last year

Christmas, around Christmas

They got this

And then this

And this.

So, they had these three dolls

Yeah. And then, on Christmas, we got this doll from again

a church member

that we don't really know about

you know, brought some gifts so..

We never really had any... we didn't buy them

Well, because I want them to

be comfortable with their skin.

We have been talking about how she wants to have Ariel.

So... I was like... hmm..

I don't know if I should buy her Ariel.

But I mean.. You know

it wouldn't really hurt them having different kind of, different color, basically

barbie dolls

So, I bought this. When I was shopping for this,

Dasomi wanted this Rapunzel doll

So, I kinda didn't want to buy it.

Because then there are like

2 white barbie dolls and plus Tinkerbell, now there are three!

So, I didn't really comfortable about

You know, I don't wanna just say no

Just because it is a different skin color.

I'm not gonna say "Hey! I am not gonna buy this for you even though you really like it."

"Because this barbie doll is white."

So, I am like, Yeah. You know...

They can play with a lot of different

colored barbie dolls

and it's fine.

But you know... in Orlando

You guys obviously saw, Yuri was saying

She doesn't want to be a Brown girl or somthing

So, it was really shocking to me.

and I was like, "OK.... what have I done?"

Maybe it was a big mistake

that I let them have some white dolls.

At first, I was like, you know.. not that many

we have plenty of colored dolls as well.

but

The problem here is

not just dolls

The problem is

what they watch

Youtube and movies

So, when you watch Youtube

You know, there are a lot of kids. They are opening gift and stuff like that.

Barbie dolls and stuff

and all the Barbie dolls that they play with

are white

and also, they watch a lot of Korean cartoons

and Korean animations

and Korean kids channel as well.

and all the dolls there

are either Korean...

You know Asian...

or White

And they don't really use colored dolls.

Because they watch those things

They think that those dolls are prettier

That's how I feel. That's what I think.

Maybe I might be wrong.

But, I think that's pretty much what it is.

I don't think playing with one or two white dolls

affected them much.

I think it's more of like the whole environment.

that I put them in.

and I let them watch

why am I so light? anyway

let me be a little bit closer.

OK. so, let me be honest with you.

I also grew up playing with White dolls.

White barbie dolls

and... interestingly

I grew up in Korea.

and all the barbie dolls were white.

Why? I don't know.

but, that's what it was.

and...

and I think I remember you know, I kinda questioned

How come these barbies don't look like me?

But... quickly I started thinking like

maybe because you know, these hair colors are prettier.

So, it's more colorful.

So, it's why these barbie dolls have this.

So, I probably started to think that

This type of skin color

eye color

or hair color

are prettier than me.

and I'm I'm also

sort of a victim of those barbie dolls

and all I knew was that.

and when I first came here.

I realized that we got to... we can have like,

these black barbie dolls

and it really amazed me

and I was happy, but

at the same time

because I grew up playing with these kind of stuff

I grew up watching Disney movies and

Ariel and Beauty and the beast

and I love them, and they are like

one of my

I like Tinker Bell. / Yeah.

Because I grew up watching those movies

and liking those characters

Obviously I influenced them

I let them watch those movies

I let them like them.

Now, I think about it

Maybe that wasn't so much a good idea.

and I am lost

I feel lost.

but, I do know that

things can still turn around

and at the end of the video that I uploaded

if you guys watched to the end

Yuri said she likes her skin color

and...

and she told me that she wants me to have brown color as well.

So, I kinda figured that

Yuri just wanted to have the same skin color as mine.

not necessarily it's brown or yellow or whatever

I think she just wanted to have

the same skin color as mine

or maybe she wants me to have the same skin color as hers.

So that we can be same

and she likes anything same

like, when they are eating something, they have to eat the same thing

when they are eating popsicle, they have to eat the same color

They just love to do everything same

and so, I was thinking

maybe she wants us to have the same skin color.

For her, that makes sense because

she likes to do everything together.

So, why not to have the same skin color?

It's gonna be ongoing struggles for us

I know a lot of biracial kids

or multiracial kids

she will have identity crisis

and it's normal and

We can't avoid that.

but I know

I... as their mom

I really need to

make them not thinking that

they are not close... they are not beautiful or anything like that

They are beautiful and

There are some people that... they took advantage of

the time

when I uploaded the video, they were saying like

You know, they are not really that pretty actually

or dark color is not pretty.

but you know what?

I don't care about what they think.

and I think they are most beautiful kids.

to me.

and they are the most precious

things that happened in my life.

and I know I am inedequate

I'm not...

I'm not perfect.

I'm trying.

and I will probably start...

buy more black dolls

and brown dolls

for them

I'll probably just

stop buying white dolls for them and

you know, monitor what they watch on Youtube

I'll try to look for all the kids

channel that feature more of brown and black girls.

and I am gonna keep telling them they are beautiful.

Some people contacted me and they want to send something.

and I am kinda thinking that maybe I should open a p.o. box.

for maybe about a month.

so that if anybody want to

I don't know... help me out

by sending

some Black dolls or

sort of mixed hair product or whatever

that maybe can help this

this mom who...

still is struggling.

with her kids.

so, if I open p.o. box, I will let you guys know.

I might open. I might not open.

maybe... let me know if I should open

a p.o. box in the comment section.

Yeah. but it's only gonna be a temporary thing...

Probably I only open a p.o. box for about a month or so.

basically I grew up playing with white barbie dolls.

and we didn't really have Asian barbie dolls.

Also. a lot of cartoons that I watch

one of my favorite is candy.

This Candy character was

made by Japanese actually

but all the characters were Europeans

and this Candy also has Blonde curly hair.

and white skin.

That is how I grew up.

There were not many things that I could relate to...

when it comes to cartoon characters

or dolls

and I think Korean people need to change that.

Hmm... That' how I feel.

Not necessarily they should brown or black characters

I'm talking about us!

making characters

and barbie dolls

that look like Koreans

and also that would be nice

if I see more of diversity

and see more of brown and black in Korean characters and dolls as well.

but first of all, we need to make our Asian barbie dolls in Korea

and I think it's really really important.

so, I checked some dolls

that are being sold in Korea.

This is supposed to be Korean baby.

from Kongsooni which is a Korean girl cartoon

It's her sister, but I mean

as you can see. Do you think this is Korean baby?

Not at all.

The hair doesn't look Korean at all.

See.... also. There is some stuff like this.

This is Korean. This looks Korean, right? But

You see this

the hair is definitely blonde.

The hair color purple. That's fine.

Let's see.

different hair colors.

This is a Korean character. This is a Korean character as well.

but she has red hair.

and then, you see this.

Totally just white, right?

You see white dolls here as a model.

Yeah. So, as you can see

You know. Not so much a variety.

Or you don't even see much of Korean characters.

You know what I'm saying?

Mostly very pale and

has very different color hair.

which is alright. Colored hair, but

I'm talking about you know, there is no

like Asian beauty type

dolls

for little Korean girls.

So, that's what I want to say.

This one can pass as Korean.

This one.

but again, what is it? What is this?

anyway, so..

Let me wrap this up.

You know. it's hard for me actually because

They are different from me.

but at the same time.

I know I should know how to raise them right.

and I am.. I AM going to

raise them to be beautiful women

inside and out. and I want them to love themselves.

and that's my goal and I really need to do that.

and so... I know I'm going to start today

monitoring what they watch

surround them with more of colorful

colored people.

colored characters.

If you know any colored kids channel

and I want it to be very educational as well.

Yeah. Please comment down below.

and I need help.

a lot. So, I'm going to

keep updating you guys on

what I'm trying to do. what I have done

stuff like that.

Don't see. OK?

Close your eyes like this.

Don't look, ok?

It's a surprise.

OK?

Don't look.

Dasomi, are you looking?

(laughing)

Don't open your eyes, ok?

It's a surprise.

OK. Open your eyes.

Oh. So cu.../ Ah!!!!

It's a very special day, today.

This is... you know, never happened.

We got pretty dress.

DBH #4:Oak Tree - Duration: 10:00.

Hey welcome back, welcome to Carmel and good to have you here.

Don't forget if you like what you see, click that like button, subscribe and when you subscribe,

go ahead and press, click on the bell so you can receive everything we're giving to you.

So, subscribe and click the bell.

And today we are going to talk about, again encouraging you.

Acorns to Oak trees.

You'll want to listen to this; your past can often be a burden and in Carmel when we

are discerning our call to draw closer to God at vocatio, the past that you've led

can be a burden and let me tell you.

Again, we are dealing of maps of knowledge and in the past, this is something in the

maps of knowledge to relieve you that burden.

I want to relieve you with that burden by sharing with you what was shared with me about

an Oak tree and that was once an Acorn and we suggest you that your history is irrelevant.

Now, we are in Michigan, I want to talk about a teacher, leads, give you a little story

here.

Teacher leads her class, 16 and 17 years old out in the woods looking for, there's a contest to find

the largest oak tree, the largest oak tree in the world and so guess what?

In this story, they find it, and it's in Michigan.

So, she takes the kids out and they're looking at these trees and they found one and they

measured the circumference of the tree, they measured the height.

This tree is enormous and it's magnificent.

It's got acorns and the acorns fall to the ground that feeds squirrel, that feeds farm

animals, awesome fruit from that tree, that tree provides shade, shade for resting workers

and laborers from the fields come and if the tree were to be harvested and limbs

taken off.

It's so big you can build 3 or 4 houses, it was awesome and is still is an awesome

tree.

Now, healthy? Yes

strong? Yes

Just super green.

So, the kids, the teacher said, "So, is this the tree that you want us to submit in

the contest?" and they said, "That's it" and she said, "Fine, we'll submit

this tree" and when they did submit it, they did win the contest.

But she said, "Before you do your final submission on this tree, would you believe this is the

biggest, the most healthiest, and the most robust in the forest?"

She took a letter from her pocket.

She took that letter out and she began to read from the letter and she said, "You

know, I want to share with you a letter that I received from somebody that knew this

tree.

This tree was once an acorn and this individual knew that tree when it was an acorn and she

began to say, "In this letter went on about how the acorn was a filthy acorn, a dirty

acorn, the letter siad, "This acorn frequently found with pigs, even amongst garbage" All

these kids are surrounding this teacher as she's reading this letter and this letter brought

out the sad past, realities about the life of the poor, the weak acorn that lived on

the street bouncing amongst the gutters, terrible, terrible garbage where there were pigs that

frequented it, filthy acorn.

The letter was very graphic, the letter illustrated well about the life of an acorn and most of

all the letter was true.

Now, when the teacher was done with the letter she put it back, she looked at all the kids

and put it back in her pocket as I'm putting this back in my pocket and there was a clear

impression, there was silence in the group.

There was clear impression of the wide gulf between the life of that filthy, dirty acorn

and what's stood them is an enormous healthy, robust, magnificent, majestic oak tree.

Now, the state of that oak tree showed what had become of that filthy acorn.

The history of that oak tree as an acorn was irrelevant; the teacher asked the kids, "Now,

because of the history of that acorn, the history of this oak tree as acorn.

Do you want to rethink your choice of this oak tree as being one of the most magnificent

and the largest in the world?" and all the kids say, "No, no, no we want to submit

that as our submission for the contest of the largest Oak tree" She said, "fine'',

She said, "fine, I just want to let you know that and so, that brings us down

the idea that the history in the mind of those kids is totally irrelevant.

The history of that acorn that gave life and grew into that huge oak tree, totally irrelevant.

So, it's the same with your walk with God. I bring it to you, your walk with God, your

history, your past history that you're turning on and coming forth is like that first sprout

from that acorn to become that magnificent oak tree, it's irrelevant.

I want you to think like that.

It's irrelevant, your history is irrelevant, I can't score that enough and if you're

dealing in this area, and you're coming closer to the community, are like-minded people,

you want to encourage individuals who may not be expressing their history about how

irrelevant that is.

That's Carmel as the day is old, that is Carmel.

That is God redeeming through Jesus Christ a fallen humanity, a fallen group and that

is the Holy Spirit, coming to you where you are at, to raise you up become something

other than what you are now and so, you don't want to be deceived.

If your information you don't want to be deceived that worthiness has relevance, has

a discernment in a call to serve God.

The discernment to call and worthiness, history, history of diabetes maybe relevant because

you maybe need medicine but history of worthiness, the worthiness and you know, it wasn't irrelevant

for Paul and it most likely will not be irrelevant for you.

And, think about that acorn to oak tree, this is the normative approach, this is what was

on the map of John of the Cross, there should be no doubts about your past and no relevance

in giving out about your past.

It is a conversion, it is a new start; now, this is about the ordinary approach and I

see that acorn played out over and over and over where individuals come and they have

realization and they come to know God and they want to change and you are going to want to change

and you think how unworthy they are.

Remember you are in DIY path, you are receiving a guidance from the Holy Spirit and you're

thinking how unworthy you are to have a relationship with God and that's not accurate, that's

not accurate at all and you could be easily deceived by diabolical forces okay?

Now in America, in the world today, we have, we have a lot of abuses going on.

That people who are leaders you know, that doesn't mean that if you, that you know,

if you have past history of running bad checks and you are a bank robber, and maybe you can

still draw closer to God.

You just don't go around, maybe you won't be handling the checkbook but we're talking

about the ordinary way of individuals who feel they are unworthy because of past sins,

past abortions, past betrayals, past lies, and God is calling them out of that to a greater

future.

So, I want you to think about that, so again, we will put this in our series.

I think this is our 4th tape and go ahead and comment below and we are not talking about

the extra ordinary problems going on with sex abuse, we are not talking about extraordinary

goings on things about narcissism or mental health.

We are talking about you coming to God, having a problem and living out a discernment to

draw closer to God and for lay people particularly, you are living in the world and you want to

do better tomorrow and you want to do more good tomorrow and I'm saying to you that if you

have a filthy past as acorn that does not prevent you from being reformed, being drawn

from God out of that filthiness to become an enormous acorn and serve your neighbor

in that faith, in that goodness.

Seppy is there anything you want to add?

Does that make sense?

"Yes" Okay.

Was it accurate, complete?

Okay and so, I am not telling anybody out there that's on medicine for bipolar or

mental health to stop taking your medicine.

That's not what we are talking about here, that's common sense.

Our Lady of common sense guides us and so anything you want to add?

Can we call that a wrap?

"Yeah" That's a wrap, my boss said.

That's it, thank you.

Game of Thrones Season 7 - SIGNS OF HODOR'S RETURN - Duration: 9:12.

Hello everyone.

When you watched the Door episode, did your heart break too?

Did you also wonder if we'll ever see him again?

In this video, I'll talk about Why I think Hodor will come back.

I'll also post the "Top 10 Attractive male characters" video on Tuesday and Dany's

child theory on Saturday at 7 pm IST or 09:30 am EST.

Make sure to subscribe this channel and also click on the bell next to it, so that you

won't miss it.

Anyways, ever since the beginning of this series, it was pretty obvious that Hodor was

simple.

He always did what he was told.

He never hurt anyone and his vocabulary only contained one word.

Hodor.

But he wasn't always like this.

In the 5th episode of season 6, we found out that Hodor's real name was Wylis, and because

of Bran's interference, he became Hodor.

Before we get into the Why Hodor will come back, let's take a quick look at what happened

in this scene.

As Sean Killackey said "What I didn't get in that scene of Wyllis changing into

Hodor was that Bran had his eyes open, which I took to mean than he was just observing

what the BR did rather than controlling the event by himself?"

But I do think that Bran had warged into both Hodors.

Bran's mind was in the past while his body was still in the present.

That's why the Bran in the past was able to watch Hodor without his eyes going white where

as his body's eyes were already white in the current Bran.

I'll try to explain my interpretation of the scene through a diagram.

When Meera asked Bran to warg into Hodor, he warged into the current Hodor, but since

he was looking at the past Hodor aka Wyllis, he warged into him too.

Bran warged into BOTH Wyllis and Hodor at the same time, thus, forming a link between

them.

It's kind of like he was standing with one foot in the present and the other in the past.

When Hodor died trying to hold the Door for Bran and Meera, because of the link between

the two Hodors, a part of Wyllis died too.

And later, even though he forgot about it, subconsciously, I think Hodor remembered that

this is the moment he will die or that it was a reminder for what he needs to do in

the future.

Did you notice that in this entire scene, the Current Hodor doesn't say "Hodor"

even once.

These were his last moments, and it's kind of like he fulfilled his mission, so he didn't

need to say the word anymore..

I don't know if it makes any sense or not..

What do you think about this?

As for the Whitewalkers and wights, ever since the beginning of this series, we have seen

that those who get touched by the cold and DIE at the hands of one of them get TURNED

into one of them, No exceptions here, UNLESS their body is burned.

But there was NO ONE to burn Hodor and Summer's bodies.

So, there is NO DOUBT in my mind that Hodor will come back as a wight, if he had died

in that scene.

I also saw a couple of things in the recent promos and trailers that only made my belief

stronger.

1) HBO Trailer

As I said in my HBO trailer Review, ONLY the cast for season 7 appeared in this promo.

So, why was Hodor a part of this trailer?

Also, if you'll zoom in on his clothes from the trailer, you'll see the same rips in

his clothes that were there in "the Door" Episode.

One on the left shoulder, two on the right arms & two in the front.

When I suggested this earlier, some people were skeptical about it.

They said this doesn't mean that Hodor is coming back.

But think about this.

Why would they go to ALL this trouble to create a costume EXACTLY like the one in The Door

episode for just a promo?

We all know how much attention they pay to small details.

The only difference I can find here is that a couple of rips in his clothes seems to be

stitched up now.

That's the only think that's confusing.

I am 100% sure that IF Hodor had died in that place, which seems like the most likely case

here, he would definitely come back as a wight.

But if he was saved somehow, which seems impossible considering how many wights there were, he

could have returned as himself.

But that would be mostly wishful thinking.

I really think that he is dead.

And may be D&D didn't want to spoil it for the us, that's why they didn't dress him

up in the wight get up.

2) Long Walk Trailer.

In the Long Walk Trailer, the blue eyed showed in the end seems like Hodor's eye to me.

Before you say anything, I would like to say that I know it makes more sense to show 2

kings and 2 queens in that trailer, but when I saw a fan art of Hodor as a wight and zoomed

in on it, it seemed EXACTLY like the eye from the trailer.

I think I mentioned this in one of my comments and Sean Killackey asked to also put the Hodor

and the NK half profile From the Trailer together.

Just look at this photo.

And just to be certain, I also put the eye of NK in the next pic.

While Hodor's pic ALMOST looks exactly the same, the Night King's face seems to have

more wrinkles in it.

And did you notice that we didn't really see Hodor die.

You know the rule, if we didn't see someone die, there's still a chance, just like the

hound.

What if the Night King stopped the wights before they could kill him, so that he could

turn Hodor into a Whitewalker?

Just imagine Hodor being able to think on his own leading an army of the dead.

Would he be mad at Bran for what he did to him?

What do you think about it?

Whose eye do you think it is?

Another thing I wanted to discuss with you is the Three Eyed Raven.

When he saw the mark on Bran's wrist, he KNEW that there wasn't enough time left,

that he can only show Bran ONE VISION.

Of all the visions in thousands of years, did you ever wonder WHY he chose this one

as his last vision to show Bran?

I have a theory for this.

I think he LIED to Bran earlier about changing the past because he knew that Bran wasn't

trained enough.

Bran might get tempted and try to save his family and mess things up.

So, he lied to Bran & kept on training him, but later, when he saw that he could only

show Bran only one vision, he decided to show Bran the truth, that BRAN CAN CHANGE THE PAST.

Just like I said in my Bran's Journey video.

I think there was a reason for that.

Why did he want to tell Bran about that when he had been lying to him all this time?

Because earlier, he didn't want Bran to try to change anything but now that his end was

near, he was out of options here.

He could have let Bran keep on thinking that the past cannot be changed, but he showed

him the truth, because he WANTS Bran to change SOMETHING from the past.

But what could it be?

What do you think about it?

Just imagine how easy it will be if Bran could just go back in time and stop leaf from turning

the first man into a WW?

Humanity's ultimate enemy will never be created in the first place.

I wonder if that's what the 3ER meant?

What do you think?

Anyways, it's for the comments shoutout now.

Today's shoutout goes to Bilal Muhammad who said, "I noticed that when Jon was proclaimed

King in the North, I think Manderly or Glover said that Jon Snow avenged the Red Wedding

but if you ask me, it was Arya who administered the Red Wedding payback!"

I know a lot of you think along the same lines, & I wanted to discuss this with you.

I know a lot of people blame Walder Frey for the Red Wedding, and I understand why.

But that's why Roose is so clever.

Roose Bolton was the one who planned the Red Wedding with Lothar Frey, including the choice

of songs.

For this service, Tywin gave him the title "Warden of the North" and legitimized

his bastard son Ramsey.

You see, Roose was the one who did everything, while Walder Frey just followed HIS plan.

But Walder Frey got the blame for everything, where as no one even suspected Roose Bolton.

So, in a way, even though he probably didn't know it, Jon avenged the red wedding just

as much as Arya did.

So, what do you think of these theories, don't forget to tell us in the comments.

Wayne Dyer: The Power of Love ( Wayne Dyer Law of Attraction ) - Duration: 13:51.

The inability to rely on the love that

is our very essence shows up in many

forms your ego wants you to believe that

you are unacceptable and will gleefully

assist you in creating an image to prove

that it is so manifestations like

obesity and personal slovenliness and

eating disorders often are the

fear-based projection of yourself ego

can influence you to shun all efforts to

be loved by others by refusing to allow

the risk of an intimate encounter on a

development an intimate relationship ego

often makes you selfishly pursue your

own goals and others expenses you engage

in perpetual conversation about yourself

we often use economic social and other

types of excuses to defend behavior that

does not extend love for instance you

might excuse unloving or inconsiderate

behavior because it's only my job or

because everyone else doesn't

expressions of disgust or rudeness

towards others are based on ego they are

heard in stores on freeways and offices

at airports in restaurants any place you

are in your daily lives these are some

of the common expressions of a

fear-based ego struggling to keep you

away from the experience of love that is

your true essence before you begin to

change these behaviors and thought

patterns you need to examine the payoffs

what is some part of your receiving as a

payoff for listening intently to ego

your ego works for its living its payoff

is not money but just in keeping alive

your ego is not open to making contact

with God because it would be immediately

put out of business your ego is in

direct conflict with your true purpose

for being there you are here to give and

receive love your ego protects you from

that vision by keeping you on a belief

system that declares you are separate

and special by hanging on to the fears

of your insufficiency you can avoid

taking any risks as long as you have

self-doubt and all of its attendants

fears you are guaranteed to stay in

servitude to your false self your ego

thrives on guilt your higher self knows

that you should forgive yourself learn

from mistakes and release feelings of

fear and anxiety but ego hands you guilt

so that it will thrive guilt is the

inner fear that you should pay a price

for any and all mistakes you have

committed in your life as the ego

convinces you

you might feel guilty and it keeps you

removed from your true spirit your ego

doesn't reject love the polite

background ego voice whispers that love

is a high ideal but one that is loaded

with danger it warns you to not give too

much love because you may be taken

advantage of because you are so special

it tells you others want to take

advantage of you

ego promotes inauthentic love in your

relationships with others your ego

convinces you that your partner is just

what you need to fill the emptiness

within you this is a great ruse that

will forever keep you from knowing love

and peace make a copy of this passage

from Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass tape

it to your mirror and read it every

morning it will help stimulate the inner

opening to the love you seek and

dissolve fears if you are willing to do

what the poet suggests he says I exist

as I am that is enough if no other in

the world be aware I said content and if

each and all be aware I said content one

world is aware and by far the largest to

me and that is myself

and whether I come to my own today or in

ten thousand or ten million years I can

choose freely ticket now or with equals

here fulness I can wait

remind yourself that God created you in

perfect love that has changed less and

eternal as you recognize and affirm this

allowed each day you will lose your fear

of inadequacy and incompleteness

constantly recalling the affirmation of

being a creation of God beyond the world

of the manifest will chase the fears

away forgive yourself and welcome love

back into your life when you can do this

a kind of balancing occurs rather than

atoning for sins with guilt you are more

committed to promoting joy and service

she will begin to do what you originally

came here to do notice the acts of

kindness other people do rather than

their wrongdoings we are all good decent

loving Souls who occasionally get lost

when you can focus on the good and

another and hold that in your mind you

are acting from your higher self

this can help dissipate fear and anger

remind yourself how much you have to

give away and of how precious and

valuable your giving is you have the

same force running through you that

allows the planets to move the earth to

orbit the seeds to sprout and the

flowers to open there's not a separate

God for each person there's one

universal intelligence flowing through

all of us this is the force of love

remind yourself of that every time you

doubt your own divinity affirm to

yourself that you are divine and that

you love and are loved and will not be

pressured by your false thinking ego to

not notice remind yourself that the same

force flows through you that flowed

through Jesus Christ and Buddha this

should help whenever you feel your ego

sneaking in attempting to put fears of

inadequacy and doubt into your mind

accept that you are enough I am enough

affirms that you choose love and chase

away doubts and fears with the higher

self is your new guide you have

permission to arrive and relax you no

longer have to prove yourself but can

begin in joyful earnestness to travel

the path of love take the risk of

intimacy whenever possible snuggle up in

and risk saying how much you love and

appreciate someone tell that person that

you're willing to be vulnerable in order

to know him or her better

these open-hearted ways of expressing

yourself can defeat fear of intimacy use

any excuse you can to express your love

and try to ignore the vehicle of

expression is the substance of what you

are and feel that count not the vehicle

that you use if those fears ever start

to return stop and ask yourself so

what's not to like you cannot have a

better path so abandon the idea right

now you did what you knew how to do

given the circumstances of your life

those mistakes of the past were driven

by your ego which wanted to keep you in

its grasp you listened to your false

self and recoiled in fear over the idea

of anyone knowing your true self you

moved away from love but now you are

back and making the choice for love you

know deep within you that at your primal

level you have been designed for love

and happiness

you can choose to return it to the

brilliant light of love that is always

with you go there often and all of your

fears will be replaced by love

let your thoughts remain unloved this is

the realization of your higher self it

is the realization of your sacred quest

you can make the decision to be free

from fear and doubt there is no greater

freedom it can be difficult to finally

just lighten up and understand that life

is what happens while you're making

other plans this is it each and every

instant of your life takes place in the

present moment

using your present moments to chase

after future moments is an ego based

activity when you are finally able to

say that you have arrived you will know

what it feels like to be free so higher

self does not want you to be lazier

without purpose but to realize the power

in knowing that you have arrived when

you know that this moment is your entire

life you are not focused on past or

future moments and you release the

stress and tension that accompany

describing lifestyle with that release

you become more productive and peaceful

than you were when you look behind or

ahead of yourself and do not allow your

mind to rest in the still center of the

present moment being fully in the now

means that you will experience heaven on

earth because you are completely

absorbed in the soul of the holy instant

to experience the Bliss of knowing that

you are here now in this moment and that

is all there needs to be all there ever

was and all you will ever know you must

learn to trust your higher self and let

go of those ingrain teachings from all

the egos that have influenced your life

up until now you will begin to realize

that you are not on trial in the now

here you will soon realize that your

mission is to serve and extend the love

that is your basic essence period you

don't have to do more even though you

may choose to do a great deal your

overriding objective is to stay focused

on sending and receiving a copy the love

of God if you incorporate the following

ideas into the practice of your daily

mission you will succeed in your

objective nothingness nothing this is a

very positive value in your life it is

out of nothing that all is created space

is considered to be nothing no particles

no form so we describe it as nothing to

fear this empty space or to deny its

value as a part of us means doubting our

own existence

we came from nothingness but nowhere

I've described throughout this tape to

this world of form the now here

surrender to understand the concept of

surrendering you will not be able to

rely on your ego ego never wants you to

even consider surrendering it would much

rather you hang on to the belief that

you must strive and cling to the

familiar way the notion of being

attached to what happened to you in the

past can be very deeply ingrained in you

by your false self you must learn to

recognize egos attachment to the past

when it uses this to keep you stuck in

striving surrender the belief that your

past is what is driving your present

surrendering also means learning to

recognize the signals from your higher

self that's something within you needs

to be witnessed this means surrendering

to whatever is in the present moments of

your life for many people it can be

confusing to discern whether it is ego

or spirit that is at the helm I find

that using the image of a boat moving

along the surface of a lake is helpful

in making the distinction between ego

and higher self I visualize the wake of

the boat as a symbol of the past the

wake is not driving the boat it is

merely the trail that is being left

behind by the present moment movements

of my boat image what drives the boat is

the energy generated in the now I do not

credit or blame the past for the boats

present state of arriving in this spot

on the lake that pass cannot drive you

in this now and that past needn't be

held responsible for the boats problems

practice surrendering by creating a new

agreement with now agree to know that

your past is a trail of present moments

that are all left behind at the same

time know that if you are having

difficulty in this present moment you

will surrender to that reality

surrendering invites your loving

presence to be available in every now

moment what a pleasure

each moment can then be even the last

moment acceptance once when I was asked

to define enlightenment the best I could

come up with was the quiet acceptance of

what is I believe that truly enlightened

beings are those who refuse to allow

themselves to be distressed all the

things that simply are the way they are

to arrive rather than to strive means

applying the wisdom of Reinhold Niebuhr

so called serenity prayer god grant me

the serenity to accept the things I

cannot change the courage to change the

things I can and the wisdom to know the

difference

knowing the difference can be the most

difficult part there's an ancient Zen

teaching that says if you understand

things are just as they are if you do

not understand things are just as they

are this is the essence of acceptance

and the way of arriving rather than

striving bewilderment your physical

being is an enormous miracle it's

thousands of working parts function with

the divine organizing intelligence

consider your blood circulation air

inhalation and oxygenation

your eyes muscles and bones all

responding to a brain and nervous system

that is beyond comprehension there are

miles of arteries and veins intestines

with infinitely tiny microbes all

working in unison with that divine

intelligence that creates the body you

occupy to be in a state of bewilderment

stop and behold the wonder of you allow

yourself to enjoy the bewilderment in

awe of who and what you are there is the

miraculous machine that houses you and

there is the incomprehensible mystery of

the ghost in the machine that is your

mind and soul observing all patience our

loving presence offers us the infinite

patience that originates with God it has

taken me over 50 years to know many of

the concepts I have talked about on this

tape God has been patient I have done

things in my life and today make me

shudder in contempt yet God somehow

stuck it out with me patiently seeing

the potential for something grander I

have stolen and shopped it that in my

earlier days lied all too frequently

been promiscuous and unfaithful used

substances and through all this and much

much more God showed me her infinite

patience the stories of the lives of st.

Paul and st. Francis of Assisi described

the same kind of patience this infinite

patience is available to you at all

moments

regardless of where you have been how

Colour Grey Hair Naturally for $30 a Year! // Vegan, Cruelty-Free & Zero Waste - Duration: 17:52.

Hey there modern vegans and vegan curious,

it's Margaret, and welcome back to ModVegan.

If you're new to the channel, be sure and give this video a thumbs up,

and also, be sure and subscribe if you enjoy it,

and click on the bell icon so you can be notified

every time there's more great videos just like this one.

Today on the channel I want to talk with you about

zero waste hair colour.

And some of the experiences that I've had,

and how I think they might be valuable for you,

and maybe some different ideas for you to take into

consideration going forward.

So I got my first grey hair when I was 25 years old,

and I remember it very distinctly.

Because it was the day of my wedding that I noticed.

So I was sitting there with my hairdresser,

and she was doing my hair for the wedding,

curling it, and she noticed a grey hair,

and she said "oh, I guess you've started to get grey hair!"

"Congratulations!"

And I thought, "oh my god, I'm only 25!

I can't believe that I

have grey hair already."

Well, fortunately it grew very slowly,

so I've only gotten a few grey hairs every year.

But still, it was a little traumatizing to see that first grey hair,

and I will never forget it when she pulled it out of my head

and showed me that indeed, I did have a white hair

growing out of my head.

But since then, I've gotten a little more comfortable with it,

and for many years I just kind of ignored it,

because it was so small.

Like there were just a couple of hairs,

so I pretty much ignored it.

But as time went on, I decided I wanted to do something about it,

and I know that a lot of women absolutely love their grey hair,

they embrace it, and I want to congratulate them,

I think that's fabulous.

It's up to everyone whether they decide

they want to colour their hair or not.

It's very much a personal decision.

It's just like wearing makeup:

no one should ever make you feel like you need to wear makeup,

or that you have to wear makeup, no one should ever

make you feel like you need to dye your hair,

but if you want to, and you just like the idea of having

a little more colour in your life, then this video is for you.

So after I found that first grey hair, I pretty much ignored

the grey hair until I was around 30.

And I made sure I waited until I was about 30

before I started colouring my hair,

because I just felt like for some reason in my head

that it didn't make sense to colour my hair before I was 30.

So I started colouring my hair when I was about 30 years old,

and I just coloured it pretty much the colour that it is now,

my natural hair colour, 'cause this is my natural hair colour.

I just used a semi-premanent dye, which is like the natural

essences?

I think Clairol makes Herbal Essences?

It's kind of their demi-permanent, if you're going to use the

lingo used by hair dressers.

That is kind of the

semi-permanent/demi permanent hair colouring that lasts

for about 28 washes.

It doesn't lift any colour out of your natural hair,

it just deposits colour on your natural hair.

So it's not bleaching it, it's free from bleach,

and it what it does is it just deposits colour on the shaft of your hair.

So that's kind of how that works.

And I did that most of the time, because I felt like

I didn't want to pay anymore, I didn't want to have to do

permanent dye, because I felt that really to do a good job

of permanent dye it's better to go to a hair dresser,

so I just used the temporary ones at that point.

And I did that for quite a few years, until I was about -

I guess I was 32 or 33?

Because it was just a couple of years ago.

I decided to start highlighting my hair,

and you can see that in some of the earlier videos

from this channel.

You can see me with highlighted hair, because I decided

to go to the hair dresser and get my hair highlighted.

And of course that was with peroxide, because that's really

the only way to bleach hair.

So I went to my hair dresser,

had that done there, and I did that for a little while,

and then I stopped doing that when I decided it was just

ridiculously expensive.

I didn't want to do it anymore.

I thought that it overall worked pretty well.

It was not

an uncomfortable process by any means,

it's just the amount of money that you're spending on it

that is really the deterrent there,

and that's really - the environmental impact and the time

and money spent at the hairdresser are the big drawbacks to that sort of thing.

But of course, also as a vegan, you're going to find

when you try to look into it a bit, that hardly any hair dye

is vegan.

And since I care quite a bit about this -

I make sure that my makeup is vegan - I'm very

conscientious about that sort of thing -

it didn't seem right for me to be using hair dye

that was not vegan either.

So about - gosh - probably

I stopped using traditional hair dye,

and you may have noticed that my hair has been a bit darker

in my recent videos, and that's because I'm no longer highlighting it,

I kind of cut off the part that was highlighted.

And now I am using a natural hair dye instead,

and I wanted to tell you guys about it,

because I've been very happy with it,

and I think it's a really good solution if you are a brunette.

If you are not a brunette, if you're a blonde,

then this may not work as well for you, especially if

you want to keep your hair a blonde colour.

There are other solutions for hair colour if your hair

is naturally blonde.

I know that Bea Johnson

from the "Zero Waste Home" book and blog

- she uses chamomile tea in her hair.

I don't know if that works at all - I have no clue,

because I'm not blonde, so I don't know if that works,

but that's one idea if your hair is naturally blonde.

But I would pretty much take this video as advice for brunettes.

I'm only giving advice for brunettes, because I am a brunette,

so that's what this advice is for.

So I did quite a bit of research before I decided to use

a more natural dye.

And I looked around different companies, tried to find

out more about natural hair dyes, and since I'd had a horrible

reaction to the brand HerbaTint when I was in high school,

I decided to avoid that, because they use some of the same

chemicals that are in conventional dyes,

and so even though their dyes are "natural" - they do contain

some chemicals in them that may be - if you have sensitive

skin you may have a problem with them.

So that would be my big caution with Herbatint.

I think it probably works just fine for people who are

looking for colour, as long as they do not have sensitive skin.

And I do.

I had a horrible reaction back when I was in school -

when I was in high school I had a really deep reaction to it.

My entire head was itching, it was miserable.

So since then I haven't used Herbatint.

I was pretty happy with

Herbal Essences from I think Clairol, that makes Herbal Essences.

I used that for a while.

And I was pretty happy with that.

It had more to do with wanting a vegan and cruelty free option.

And thankfully, I found one that I'm pretty much in love with.

So after doing quite a bit of research, I ended up

with the LUSH Caca Rouge.

Now, try not to let the name dissuade you.

Caca is a bad word in Spanish,

but we're going to forget about that for a second.

But I think what they're just trying to say is that this is red.

And this is their basic red hair dye.

This is what I use.

And it's interesting, because if you look at my hair,

you're going to notice that there really is no red at all.

You probably can see a few highlights where it may look

slightly red - but the hair itself is not red.

It does not look red at all.

And that's one of the beauties of using henna,

which is what this dye is made out of, it's made out of henna.

And one of the beauty's of henna is that it kind of just

goes over your natural hair colour - it's almost like a varnish.

And it kind of coats your hair, it protects your hair,

and it imparts a red tone.

If you're blonde,

then your hair may look very red.

And you will notice,

I'm going to show you guys the grey spot in my hair -

that is my major major grey spot right there -

you're going to notice that's where it's red.

So that's the hair that's white, and you can see that it's turned

bright red.

And it's just this tiny little section right here -

I mean, I'm 35 years old, and this is the part of my hair that is

kind of white, and it's been turned like a brighter red colour.

But you don't really notice it that much -

you can see when you're looking at the rest of my hair,

you don't tend to notice that there's that bright section of red there.

And I'm quite happy with it.

I have to say, like, if you look at it,

I've only ever been trying to cover up my grey roots -

I'm not really interested in changing the colour of my hair,

and I find that this red works very well.

One of the things that the sales person at LUSH told me

was that if you are using their red hair dye,

it's better to use the Caca Rouge than the Caca Marron,

because the Caca Marron is their brown,

but it just doesn't contain as much colouring pigment

in it.

So unless you're trying to colour your hair brown

(which, if you're say, blonde, you might want that, because you might not want a bright

red result)

you might be happier with the Caca Marron if you're a blonde.

But if you have white hair, the Caca Rouge covers the colour

a little bit better.

It covers grey much better than the other one does.

And I'm going to take her word for it.

Because that's been

my experience so far.

It works very well to cover up greys.

No this video is in no way sponsored by LUSH,

and for that reason, I'm going to let you guys in on a few tips

that I have regarding using this product for greying hair.

Now I've been using this product for a few months,

and you will notice that it is 90% still there.

So I've used maybe a third or something of this outer ring.

So it comes with nine blocks of colour,

and if you're just colouring your roots,

and you're just trying to get rid of the grey that's maybe

at the very root of your scalp - you really do not need much of this at all.

You're going to just use a cheese grater and grate off

a little bit of this bar and then add some boiling water to it

until it kind of is the consistency of a brownie mixture.

So it's going to be not quite liquid, and not quite a solid -

just somewhere in between.

Kind of like a goopy paste.

That works best for sticking it to your hair.

And again, I mean - I've done this now like four times.

I try to do it once every four weeks.

And I find that works best for me.

Because it actually is a lot more permanent than the dye

that I was using before.

But it also - even though it's more

permanent, it's kind of nice to have it have that nice colour

at the roots.

I don't like the roots to get too long.

So that's why I do it every four weeks.

But you can see - if I've done if four times - I have no idea

how long this is going to last, but I would say one of these

bars - if you're just colouring the greys and you're not doing much else -

a bar like this will last you about a year.

And this is probably - I'm going to say it's about -

I'm going to be off here with the price,

but I think that it's under 30 dollars in Canada.

I think it's more like $20 in the US.

And it's about a year's

worth of hair dye.

Which is a pretty good deal,

because, at least in Canada, it's usually around $10 on sale

to buy a hair dye in a bottle.

And you need to buy those every month.

So you're talking $130 every year, vs. $20-30 a year

so it's definitely a considerable savings.

And of course, the only waste that you have is this,

which is your instruction information,

and it's just printed on recyclable paper.

So it really is zero waste.

And it's - aside from the sticker -

it does have a little sticker on here, and I do think this might be a plastic sticker,

so the sticker is not recyclable, but that is the only part

of the packaging that is not recyclable.

I brought

a recyclable bag to buy it, so it's truly a pretty much zero waste

hair dye solution.

And it's nice, 'cause it comes from a store,

it's already pre-made for you, all you need to do is add the hot water

to it.

It's very simple.

If I can do it, anyone can.

I've been trying to convince my mom to try it,

'cause I think that she'd really enjoy it, I think it's pretty much

exactly the colour that she would want.

So I just go ahead and I grate that bar, into a container like this one,

anything that isn't going to stain significantly.

You just put it in here.

I actually use one of my

eyeshadow brushes in order to apply it to my scalp

because I kind of just paint it on where I see white spots.

So if I see, you know, a white hair, I can just add it right there.

And you want to mix it until it's kind of a thick paste.

And then you can put it on a brush, and then add it to your hair.

I recommend doing this instead of adding it all over your hair

as long as your hair is somewhere in the brunette family.

If you feel that your hair is either black or blonde,

you probably want to go for something else, do not listen

to this video.

If your hair is blonde or black, and you want a specific

colour, if you're trying to colour all of your hair,

then watch someone else's video, this video is for someone

who has brown hair already.

But if you're just addressing those roots,

and you're trying to change the colour of the roots,

I would strongly recommend you try this.

Just kind of paint it onto your roots.

Leave it on their for about two hours.

And I know that's going to sound ridiculous.

Because when I first read that, I thought "oh my god,

two hours of having something on my head will never work."

But it actually works very well.

You just put it on the roots,

I tend to put it around here

- anywhere where you might get a few white hairs,

put it there.

Any place where you might see your hairs

a bit lighter, and then I put a shower cap over it.

And I have a reusable shower cap that I have at home

for when I'm taking a shower and I don't want to get my

hair wet - so I will use that, and you just put it on

for a couple of hours.

You can walk around the house.

The nice thing with this is that unlike an artificial

dye, if this falls down on your marble countertops, for example,

I've got some marble countertops in here -

if it falls on that, it's very easy to wipe it off.

It's not going to

stain it unless you leave it on there for a long time.

I've been very happy with the kind of ease with which

it can be removed from things.

I haven't had a real problem with that.

And when you're done, you just rinse it out,

and then shampoo your hair.

It's a little bit different, again, from an artificial dye

where you probably wouldn't want to shampoo it.

With this one I do recommend shampooing,

because this has cocoa butter and things like that in it,

to kind of give it a nice smell.

It's just meant to be

a little bit more rich.

And so you don't need to worry about it

drying your hair, it does not damage your hair,

in fact, it actually protects your hair.

And I just love it.

I'm a huge fan.

Again, this video is not sponsored, I wish it was.

It's not sponsored, but I absolutely love this product

and like I said, because it's not sponsored, I can tell you,

that unless you have like - I don't know - maybe 20-30% greys

because I don't really - maybe I have like 5% grey?

Something like that?

So I don't have a lot of grey, and so for me, a bar like this

will easily last a year, probably longer - and if you have

a few more greys than that, then it may not last quite that long,

but you're still going to find it lasts much longer

than any traditional hair colour does.

Again, unless you're blonde - if you're blonde,

you probably need to do something else.

You might need to use like an entire bar and cover your head

with it so that you get uniform colour and everything like that.

But if the problem is just about having some greys here and there,

it works really well.

and as you can see, like - I'm really quite happy with it.

I find that it is working really well with my hair.

And it's good too, if you have a sensitive scalp.

I've told you guys before, I have psoriasis,

and I've always found that to be kind of uncomfortable

when I use artificial dyes.

Like - that's the ironic thing.

If I leave this stuff on for two hours, it doesn't irritate

my head at all.

Like, I can leave it on for two hours -

I could probably leave it on overnight, and it would not

bother my skin at all.

And I have very sensitive skin.

But there's nothing in this that is speeding up that dye

to make it work faster on your hair,

and that's the real problem with something like

a Clairol dye, or L'Oreal or any of those brands -

they contain ammonia to help speed up the process

and help your hair to change colour faster.

And it may work in 10 minutes,

but that isn't really necessarily good for your hair.

And so, a product like this that you can leave on for a couple of hours

and then remove, doesn't irritate your skin at all,

and then if you have something like I do, like psoriasis,

it doesn't irritate the psoriasis at all.

Like, I still have

some psoriasis plaques on my head, and it doesn't irritate those,

and I'm so grateful to have this colour,

and that's why I really wanted to share it with you guys,

especially if any of you guys have, say, an autoimmune

disorder, or anything that causes irritation of your scalp,

you definitely probably are miserable every time you use

a harsh dye on your hair,

and this isn't like that at all.

So, definitely something worth considering.

Also doesn't have any waste!

And the funniest thing is,

I find now, whenever I go to the drug store,

I realize there's nothing I really need to buy there,

because, just in the last couple of weeks, I've started making

my own toothpaste, and my own deodorant,

now I do my hair colour, and I don't really need to worry about

going to the drug store any more, because most of the things

that I need, I already have, or I could make myself,

and it's kind of a nice, liberating feeling.

And I think actually saves me quite a bit of time.

If you enjoyed this video, be sure and give it a thumbs up,

and subscribe if you aren't already,

and also please let me know what your doing with your own

hair dye - if you're pretty happy with your solution,

or if you've tried - especially if you've tried another kind of

zero waste, natural solution that you've found works well for you,

I would love to hear about that.

Let me know, especially things that are cruelty free and vegan.

I would love to hear about that.

And I hope everybody has a beautiful day.

Thanks so much for watching.

Take care.

Bye.

How to use a Baby K'Tan Carrier with your Newborn - Duration: 5:01.

Hi, I'm Rachel and this video is going to show how to use a K'Tan Carrier with a newborn.

A K'tan carrier has two parts. There's the sash and the carrier.

The first thing I'm going to do is find the loop

on the carrier and I'm going to make sure the fabric inside of the loop is not twisted

and that it's nice and even.

I don't see any bunches or twists there.

This step will improve your comfort later on.

So I see nothing is twisted, I can see the loop here is not twisted

and the loop over here that is not twisted

Then I'm going to take this loop and hold the K'tan like it's a necklace.

Then I'm going to bring it over my head.

So the loop is directly in the back.

No I'm going to take one arm through each of the two big loops.

Now that I've done that, the small loop behind me is way high on my back.

The very first thing I want to do, is take that loop and pull it down a little bit.

If it's lower on my back, I'm going to be a bit more comfortable.

So I've got that small loop nice and low on my back.

Now I'm spreading out the fabric on both shoulders so it will be nice and comfortable for me.

I'm going to check that this is still not twisted.

At this point I'm ready to get my baby

I'm going to bring both hands inside the of the K'tan and stretch the fabric slightly.

So I can see that there's still plenty of room to put a baby, even though it looks pretty snug.

K'tan sizing really does matter.

You want it to be nice and snug.

If it's too loose, your baby will end up a little low and you can contact the company and they can help you figure out the best size.

They can help you if you're having trouble getting the right size or telling if yours is the right size.

You can also go to your local babywearing educator or group and get help deciding if yours fits you or not. (Links are in the description!)

So I'm holding my baby on my shoulder like I'm going to burp him.

This is Ben. He's one month old, but about 12 pounds.

So he's a bit bigger than your average one month old.

But we're still going to position the same way you would position a newborn in this carrier.

I'm going to take one hand under one loop and guide this foot through.

Then I'm going to shift him to my other shoulder

I'm leaning back slightly so he's well supported.

And I'm going to bring the other leg through this loop.

And as you can see he's sort of stretch into his little newborn tuck position.

This is exactly how I want his legs positioned.

His knees are higher than his bottom.

And his legs are comfortable in that narrow spread squat position

He's a little high on my chest just because I started him in a burp hold, so I'm going to just lower him a little.

I want his head nice and high on my chest where I can easily kiss him.

I'm going to find the loop that is underneath, which is this one.

and I'm going to spread this one out first.

I'm going to spread it all the way across his back.

I'm going to take it from this knee over to this knee.

and then I'm going to spread it all the way over his shoulder so he's very well supported.

Then I'm going to do the exact same thing on the other side.

I find the edge, and spread it from this knee to that knee, and then up and over his back.

I want to keep it from covering his face. I do not want it to cover his face like that.

If that's happening, you can pull the shoulder away like that

Or I can take the fabric and flip it out just a little bit

So I've taken the top edge here and flipped it out to the outside of my shoulder away from his face.

That way his face is fully uncovered and I can look down and see his cute little cheeks! <3

Since my baby is a sleep (and he's stayed asleep while I put him in here which is pretty cool!)

Sometimes when he's sleeping, he likes the back of his head covered.

So I'm going to take this side and cover just the back of his head, about to his ear (but not further)

You can see that his chin is high off of his chest.

He's very snug and well supported here.

If he was a wake, he wouldn't want this on his head and that's okay!

They like to look around and move their heads when they're awake!

The next thing I'm going to do is get my sash.

I'm bending over and supporting baby as I bend.

I'm going to take this and place it nice and high on his back.

Pull it tight, and tie a double knot behind my back.

This sash adds a bit of extra support making it even more comfortable for you.

It also adds more support for baby's back and prevents baby from leaning.

Baby is really well supported in there!

So there we have a newborn carry in a K'Tan Carrier! Thanks!

Do You Know These Books PART 2 - Duration: 4:21.

Hey guys! It's finally time for the

second round of "Do you know these books?"

If you missed the first round or are new

to my channel, basically I have this side

project where I've gone through and

tried to identify every single book that

appears or is mentioned or referenced in

the show Gilmore Girls. Now you don't

have to have seen the show to help out

because you can recognize a book

regardless of whether you've actually

watched it. I have lists on Goodreads

that are organized by episode and have

context, when you click the link to see

my vote, for how the book appears. And

this video is the ones that I wasn't

able to identify because they're blurry

and out of focus, so I'm calling on you

guys to help me out and complete the

list. You can let me know down in the

comments and it would also really help

if you can include which edition it is

because then I can go search for it and

verify that it is indeed the right book.

I will link down below to the lists on

Goodreads and I will also link to the

video I did talking about my thoughts on

this latest edition of Gilmore Girls

from Netflix. So this will include all

four episodes from the new Gilmore Girls.

I will also mention that there will not

be any spoilers for the show if you

haven't watched it yet. So without

further ado, here are the books!

Alright, so those are all the images

that I wasn't able to figure out.

Hopefully you can help me, there are some

that have really been bugging me that I

cannot figure out. Thank you guys for

watching, thanks for all your help in

this. This video is coming to you a bit

late because I was sick for a week and

then it was Easter and my birthday and

then I forgot to charge my camera

battery, but here we are! And now I'm

going to go back to playing Legend of

Zelda, Breath of the Wild. So as always

thank you for watching and I will see

you next time!
