hello everybody my name is Robert Neacsu and welcome to my channel today I'm

going through how to create a reflection in Photoshop let's get start shop so I

have this image over here we have a table that has a reflection and I will

have a bottle of wine over here that we will place it and we will create a

reflection on it now let's place the bottle where is the focus area and then

let's start the reflection now I will create a copy of this layer ctrl + J I

will select the layer that's below and press ctrl + T to a free transform it

right click and flip vertically now I will drag it down with the shift key

pressed and I will bring it right about here where they just slightly intersect

with one another okay then press Enter now let's make the

magic I'll press here to create a mask I will go to gradient and I will choose

from here the gradient that has black to transparent if you don't have it you

click on this this area it will pop up the gradient editor and you need to

select here where is this square you need to select

the color double click and choose the color black hit OK here it doesn't

matter what color is but on the top right corner you will see another

rectangle and choose the opacity to be zero okay and then click OK

now with this gradient I will press and hold shift now I will click somewhere

outside the canvas and I will drag it up

more until you can see a smooth transition just like a reflection

perfect now if it's too harsh you can go here and choose the field to be less

something like 70% over 60 okay now let's add some shadow over here

because I don't like how the all the blending is going here I will create a

smooth shadow just just under the the bottle to do that I will select the

brush tool select the black color and click and I need the spot with this

color now I will press ctrl + T to transform it and with the Alt key

pressed I will drag it down and now I will make it a little bit longer and hit

OK now I will put this shadow under the bottle something like this to create a

nice shadow in the corner and now I will need to add the same thing on the left

I don't need to create again the shadow I will just press alt click on the

shadow and drag it on the left

now I'll position it something like this and the last one I need some shadow in

the middle again with the Alt key I will copy this shadow and I will place it

over here and on this one I will reduce the Oh feel something like this and

that's it that's how you add the reflection and you'll add the shadow on

Years ago I used to watch this show and I really enjoyed watching it and it was

called (singing) 'Fame, I'm going to live forever', Irene Cara' (name's Singer, continues singing) 'I'm gonna learn how ta..' (stops singing). Well you know the song. And it was brilliant

it was a great story about youngsters at, a University I think America's you call

it a college and they were all wanting to be singers and dancers and producers

and so on. Well the truth of the matter is that even those who are famous cannot

live on a mountain top forever. If you think that by becoming famous you're

going to have this glamorous lifestyle, you'll always be on TV, you'll always be

in the magazine cover, you'll always be always be always be I

got news for you won't always be because you'd burn out! Honestly you'll burn out.

I remember watching the documentary about Nina Simone and that woman worked

so hard because of the responsibility of the team she had cuz she was the

business and em well, it did cost her her life. You know em Karen Carpenter was another person worked very very

hard and her brother was saying about he didn't realise the impact it had on

her, so yeah

No one really tells you how tiring it's going to be when you come off

stage. It's tiring, it's hard work um I remember seeing James Brown on stage doing

his thing. Sweats pouring off his head because it's hard hard work and you come

off that stage feeling exhausted.

Or being famous is the thing we all, I said it

We are ALL, all of you want, including me. Em, we all want that fame we all want that attention.

The thing about the the spotlight and the camera is it doesn't last forever and we

have this illusion that when we see all that A-Listers, you know. A-Listers are the

people who are on top of the tree that are promoted internationally, that we

read about in the papers often, when we when we read about them we feel as though

that's their life; they look the slickest, they look the baddest, they look the best

hair's on-point, they're just slayin, slayin,

but in reality they have their days when they're not on stage, when they just need

their downtime and so do you.

You shouldn't go around thinking that every

minute of every second you're on stage because that's not real

Do doctors walk around with a stethoscope around their neck everywhere

they got saying "I'm a doctor" - No. I'm sure the Milkman, if you have a Milkman doesn't go

around with a milk tray in his hand and a flat cap or whatever saying "I'm a

Milkman" we all have our down days we all have our times when we come down off the

Stage and that is something you've got to factor in, into your work. I went

through a time of thinking that I had to look - (poses) like this every time. Not so. You

need a time when you can be real with yourself when you can just be you you

can be honest because let's face it when you're on stage you are revealing

yourself you are exposing your inner thought your inner feelings and you come

off feeling really really raw, but very excited. Very very great

I delighted people today, I entertained them and they really had a good time.
