Manchego and Olive Pull-Apart Bread Recipe - Duration: 2:44.

Alright today we´ve got something fun and easy

Homemade pull-apart bread

with melted Manchego and Spanish olives

now pull-apart bread is very similar to monkey bread

it´s just not sweet

it´s savory

anyway this pull-apart bread is so amazing

it´s fun to eat

and it just taste so good

like I could seriously eat this everyday

and the best part about this recipe

is that it´s done in under 30 minutes

you can´t beat that

ok let´s do this

we´re going to start by adding

2 cups of all-purpose flour into a bowl

also add 2 teaspoons of baking powder

1 teaspoon of sea salt

and 1/2 a teaspoon of white sugar

and mix the dry ingredients together

then add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin Spanish olive oil

and 2/3 cups of water

and start mixing everything together

once you form a dough

get in there with your hands

and start kneading it inside of the bowl

between 1 to 2 minutes

and then shape it into a ball

now you want to cut the ball of dough in half

and shape each half into a ball

then cut each ball of dough into 4 quarters

and then cut each quarter in half

to end up with 16 pieces of dough

then you want to shape each piece of dough

into the form of a ball

now I´m going to grab a 6-inch diameter baking pan

and line it with parchment paper

and start adding the balls of dough in a single layer

now brush them with some extra virgin Spanish olive oil

lightly season them with some sea salt

and a sprinkle of garlic powder

next I´m going to freshly shred in

about 1 cup of queso Manchego

this is a mild queso Manchego

its only been aged for about 3 months

and make sure you evenly distribute the cheese

throughout the pan

and we´re going to top it off

with some Spanish olives that have been thinly sliced

ok now we´re going to add this into a pre-heated oven

bake and broil option

210 C - 410 F

between 12 to 14 minutes

our pull-apart bread is done and it looks amazing

I can´t wait to dive into this

I´m going to transfer it into a plate

2018 BMW M5 First Edition review - Duration: 16:09.

If you had this as a phone in the '90s or early '00s, you had a cool one.

We're not going to do the new one. 12 million wasn't enough.

Call me back if you have something better.

That was cool, but as a key I think it's bulky.

It's going to rain. You can see it's cloudy. However, I'm not afraid.

I wasn't afraid in the previous M5 either, but there's a big difference.

This is the new one, the first real M model...

We already had the X5 M, X6 M, and more of these monstrosities. They're cool though.

This is the first M5 with all-wheel drive. This offers new perspectives.

I'm outside and can talk about the handling, but maybe we should talk about the looks first.

This is a First Edition, of which 400 will be built. It's Frozen Dark Red metallic.

We don't know what it is, but it's a flat color.

It's a special color, too. I don't know if I'll be a fan for long, but it's a cool edition.

It has high-gloss wheels, high-gloss exhaust tips, a carbon roof...

The previous M5 didn't have that.

Let's dig in the history. The M3 and M4 did have one, but the M5 didn't.

I stand corrected if it did have one.

The looks. I think the new 5 Series and the M5 look refreshed.

I'm a fan of the looks. We'll talk about the rest while driving.

Should I say something about the key? It does have an M logo.

People will ask you what car you drive. "The new M5." The key can switch on the heater.

Do you have a cover for your phone? - There are M phone covers.

I can switch on the heater.

It's cold inside. It's cool. Too bad the key is so big. We're going to drive.

We have different weather conditions, which is nice for testing.

The previous M5 performed well in dry conditions, but not so much in the rain.

The big change, like I said, is all-wheel drive.

You can also drive it as a rear-wheel drive car.

The only illogical thing is you need to switch off ESP

before you can choose all-wheel drive, a sport version of all-wheel drive, or rear-wheel drive.

The press release doesn't say what 4WD Sport is exactly.

In a drift I feel lots of power going to the rear, but some goes to the front.

You feel this when the drift angle increases, but I don't know what it does.

I don't know if it's 30-70 or if it's variable.

It would be more logical, but it doesn't, to have it fixed.

The driver will have a more predictable car with the systems switched off.

When I was hooning the car it turned out to be a supercar with four doors.

It has DVD screens in the back. Thank you, BMW Netherlands.

My kids liked watching DVDs in the back seat.

The V8 engine of the previous generation stayed.

It has two turbos in the V, making it a Hot V.

The previous generation went out of production with the 592 hp 30 Years edition.

That was a special version. With this one they start at 592 hp and 750 Nm (553 lb ft) torque.

That means it easily accelerates to 250 kph (155 mph), the first limit.

If you check the M Drivers Package box, you get to do 305 kph (190 mph).

This too is a limit.

0-100 kph (62 mph) takes 3.5 seconds thanks to all-wheel drive and launch control.

We're going to try that.

That system works really well, doesn't it?

We went back to the '90s, when we didn't have launch control.

It worked this bad with all manufacturers 10 years ago.

Launch control, launch control, launch control. It stays difficult for some manufacturers.

Porsche and Volkswagen have functional launch control. Audi isn't always as clear either.

Put it in Sport and you can use it. BMW needs a couple of steps. Some are logical.

Start-stop switched off. Fine. That's logical.

Next, the transmission needs to be in S3, which is manual shifting. I can choose the shifting speed.

Next, the illogical part: ESP needs to be switched off.

Are we going to die? It's switched off now. Push the brakes and go full throttle.

It's in manual but it shifts automatically as long as I go full throttle.

I think this type of launch control is only meant to paste a nice sprint number in the folder.

You're never doing this in real life.

It's not relaxed to go pedal to the metal with all the systems switched off.

It's a tricky car, especially in these conditions.

It's a bit illogical.

How fast these cars are is best indicated with the 0-200 kph (124 mph) time: 11.1 seconds.

If you subtract 3.4 seconds, that's 7.7 seconds from 100 to 200 kph (62-124 mph).

That's very fast. Your car probably doesn't do 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 7.7 seconds.

You can have a quick car.

This is a canon.

This car can do everything. Yes, it's fast and has many seats.

The room disappoints me, though.

These are special M seats, the comfort version. BMW fans know them.

You can change the curve of the backrest and it reclines.

Great, but it's a voluminous solution.

Voluminous is like the word aluminum. It gets stranger when you say it ten times.

This steals room from the back.

This is a very pretty interior with white leather and red stitching.

The dashboard is covered in leather too.

However, a bit of criticism. It feels like the previous generation modern.

I'm comparing it with Audi, who has two big screens in the A6, A7, and A8 for climate and infotainment.

Range Rover has this with the Velar and new Sport.

This one has a small screen for climate control, surrounded by many buttons.

It's not as modern as you'd expect.

Still, we're not walking away for this. What then?

We get to choose from a hard, very hard, or extremely hard suspension setting.

It has adaptive Dynamic Damper Control.

The differences aren't big. I think the spread could've been nicer, to make it more comfortable.

Like Martijn said, you want a normal mode that's good for whatever.

BMW can do that very well.

Plus a Comfort mode that's softer for longer drives.

If you're going to hoon it, there should be a Sport mode. That one can be hard.

These are small details that could've been better.

This isn't a reason to walk away.

In the rain it's a cat you need to handle with gloves.

When you switch ESP off and drive it as a rear-wheel drive car, you have to know what you're doing.

592 hp on the rear wheels makes it go sideways.

When you put ESP in M Dynamic Mode (MDM), it works for 50%. It's a sport mode.

It wants to step out. The disadvantage is that it engages ESP while I'm countersteering.

In all-wheel drive mode you feel it puts power on the front wheels with ESP off,

while I seem to have the drift under control.

I may be wrong. Maybe the electronics were saving me; it's possible.

These details could've been better.

I'd like a mode in which it's a rear-wheel drive car with partial ESP.

I could have a bit of wheelspin, maybe a bit of drifting, and keep going.

You can battle the car more without being on your own.

Sometimes it's nice to have the car for a longer period of time.

You can think about how to explain the benefits of all-wheel drive in the M5.

We found the spot to demonstrate.

Imagine going to the beach and you're stuck with your M5.

I'm going to experiment. I can put it in rear-wheel drive.

I'm in the sand. I got here with all-wheel drive. I'm going full throttle; that's fun.

I'll close the window. That may be smart.

That didn't work. Next, 4WD Sport. I'll close the window again. Watch this.

Yes, launch control.

It does get that. We recommend a different car with launch control in the desert or on the beach.

That's important for people in Dubai and Qatar. - Very important for people in Dubai and Qatar.

They probably know you should choose a G-Class.

You feel the car vibrate because there is sand in the wheels.

I can't talk normally because the car is vibrating too much.

Is it expensive or is it a lot of money? Both.

This is the price for these cars in the Netherlands.

We wanted to end the video by joking this is a car for your wife, but you get to drive it too.

It's possible to bring kids and stuff, but it's still a cool car.

It's like a Cayenne or X5, but as an M5.

We started hooning and then I saw it's a lot of fun.

It offers a lot of options, but it doesn't have some other options.

Rear-wheel drive with 50% ESP. It should have things like that.

However, drifting it and accelerating from an intersection in 4WD Sport are fun.

It's insanely fast and maybe more fun than I thought it to be this morning.

There are things I'd like to be different. It's a very cool car, though.

well and I'm just mixing them together to get my perfect shade and placing that

on my face I always feel like I have to put it on my face with some kind of

foundation brush and then I normally go in with a Beauty Blender as you can see

and the place where I push it the product in the most is underneath my

eyes so there's no creases now I'm just going in with the revolution concealer

and this shade it's a bit dark for me so that's why I'm going in with I think

it's a Maybelline concealer in the shade 200 I'm just helping my sister wrap up

some some stuff this is a realistic get ready with me this is literally how

morning's are doing a hundred things while you're also doing you're slaying

your face so now I'm just popping that on underneath my eyes in the same places

because the c10 was a bit dark for me and as a concealer I like my concealer

to be a lot lighter than my to highlight my face in certain areas so

now I'm just blending that in I have to set my makeup especially concealer so

I'm just taking that RCM a no color powder and just dusting that all over my

face so everything is set and all mattified this is a NYX eyebrow pencil

in the shade ash Brown the shade and the actual product itself is very good but

this little thing that I was fiddling about with it for ages and then I gave

up on it and you started using the Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow pencil

instead and that just works so much better for me the next one I know it's a

lot cheaper but it was just it's literally broken in half now as well so

I just gave up with it but basically I'm just cleaning up my eyebrows and

following my natural shape I do like to have the end a lot queen Tiye

and the end of my eyebrow is a lot darker than the top part of it

now I'm going in with the elf eyeliner in black and no other color in my

waterline really suits me I know most people like nudes and stuff but that

just doesn't suit me I've just taken the the balm bronzer and just bronzing up my

face here and doing a little contouring as well to make my cheekbones stand out

a bit more I'm just using the Milani blush eye in romantic rose now now I'm

going in with a more shimmery bronzer and that's just going to brighten up my

face a little bit more as well and I just love being bronzed so I go a bit

crazy with this but it's still what suits me and what I prefer so you do you

guys with my zoeva highlighting brush that I was just messing about with I'm

just going to mix these two colors from the kathleenlights of highlighter

palette based on the high points of my cheek and

my nose and just gonna be a bit glowy now I'm taking the Mac lip liner in sore

and just lining my lips with that and slightly over lining but not to the

point where you can tell and it looks crazy so this is just what I like to do

if you're going to do this method then make sure you're not going to overboard

and you're staying within the lines of your lips otherwise you look like you

have a moustache this is the colour-pop sat in it liquid

lipstick in the shade strip and I really like this color is the perfect nude

smooth I cannot leave my house without mascara

on so that's what I'm doing right now just putting on mascara and this is the

Maybelline sensational mascara and it's genuinely perfect it lengthens my lashes

it does what needs to be a dud so that pretty much completes this video I hope

Alex: Hey everybody, welcome back to another episode of Small Business 101 here on

Arbeit U. Spencer: Yes and as always these are my favorite favorite episodes ever in our

Small Business 101 series. Do you know why? Alex: No. Spencer: Because we talk about sales.

Alex: Ah sales. Spencer: Yes, the most important ,the only thing, the most important

thing of any corporation. But today we're talking about something, Alex: It's debatable.

Spencer: Well not debatable. Today we're talking about something very specific right. We're

talking about using video in your sales sequence. For those of you who get our

calls or our sales approach, you know for a fact that we are very into using

videos as a form of communication or called ,cold call. Alex: Yep.

Spencer: So the reason we do that is for a firm multitude reasons right, like one um it

helps people know who you are right. Like if I if I call you, let's say I call you

a hundred times in a row right, you're never gonna remember me. But if I send

you ten videos in a row, you're much more likely to know who I am

versus an individual cold call right. So that's the first thing is it helps with

the notoriety. The second thing it does is it breaks the norm right. So you know

cold sales is kind of there's an old-school approach where you just call

the guy you, call the guy or girl. I keep calling them. Video is a little different

right like not too many people you know open an email and instead of a boring

email with just a written template there's a video and we take it a step

further where we use we use custom videos so each each person we attempt to

contact gets their own unique video that our sales team makes just for them. So

it's not every day that someone gets this video with the sign that'll say hi

in their name, so you know that's unique and specific to them. So I mean the

second thing obviously solves is it helps you stand out it helps us be

different. Alex: Right. Spencer: So and then the third thing is obviously you know, Alex: it's cool!

Spencer: Yeah it's cool, it's different. Alex: Yeah and it's I mean you what you might

be thinking is oh I don't have time to make a video for every person that's not

true. It literally, it probably takes just about the same amount of time as it does

to make a phone call to that person, to record the video once you get

process down. Spencer: I would argue it's quicker because, Alex: Yeah. Spencer: There's no waiting,

there's no on hold, there's no waiting, you know. Alex: Yeah, to record the actual video.

You gotta film it, edit it, but once you get that process down, Spencer: But that's not

sales I don't care about people editing it. Alex: Yeah ,yeah, yea, but still with all that input into it it

does not take as long. So yeah, it's definitely not like a huge time sink and

it is cool, its unique. We, we just started to do it kind of. We've gotten really

good results. Spencer: Yeah, we actually had we've had people, we have one person in

particular call one of our sales persons back off off one of those videos and

said listen, I get thousands of cold calls a week. I have

never called someone back except for you, cuz you sent me a personalized video.

Alex: Right. Spencer: That's like a direct quote. So they like that guy is like that

definitely helped Ashley stand out in his mind. Alex: Right. Yeah, I mean it's it's

cool, it's something it's I think a lot of people talk about it if you you know

pay attention to the marketing and such and sales that you know people are

talking about it is like the new thing. Spencer: Especially when you have his face you

want to get it on camera as much as you can. Alex: So if you're not using video, you should be. Try

Why You (Probably) Shouldn't Worry About Earth's Magnetic Poles Flipping

Earths magnetic poles, whatever theyre doing, are not going to spark chaos and kill us all — a scenario making the rounds online right now.

According to the Australian news site news.

com.

au, a magnetic flip would not only cause massive blackouts, even flushing the toilet could become impossible.

As reported by Undark, Daniel Baker, the director of the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado, Boulder, is suggesting a reversal would render parts of the planet uninhabitable (though Baker is not directly quoted saying this).

Heres whats really happening and why theres no need to take cover in a doomsday bunker.

Oceans of molten iron are swirling deep inside the planet around the outer core.

That sloshing sets up a giant bar magnet through Earth — though not a real concrete magnet, of course.

This giant magnet sits at an angle of about 11 degrees from the axis around which Earth spins, according to Windows of the Universe.

These poles are not in the same place as our geographic North and South poles.

And remember that swirling iron? Its constantly moving around.

The result? Blobs of that iron get flipped in the opposite direction from iron atoms around them; scientists say they become reverse-aligned. When there are enough reverse-aligned iron atoms, that giant bar magnet flips, and magnetic north becomes magnetic south.

But this bar magnet is no Olympic gymnast: The flipping isnt a quick turn but rather a gradual one, and can take between 1,000 and 10,000 years.

 Its not a sudden flip, but a slow process, during which the field strength becomes weak, very probably the field becomes more complex and might show more than two poles for a while, and then builds up in strength and [aligns] in the opposite direction, Monika Korte, the scientific director of the Niemegk Geomagnetic Observatory at GFZ Potsdam in Germany, previously told Live Science.

Magnetic north and south poles have swapped places hundreds of times in Earths history, about every several hundred thousand years or so, scientists have found.

The last one happened about 780,000 years ago.

In fact, there are signs of reversal right now.

The magnetic field has been weakening at a faster clip, about 10 times faster than in the past, according to data from magnetometers on board the Swarm satellites (three satellites moving in tandem).

This may or may not suggest the movement of the magnetic poles, scientists said.

What currently has geophysicists like us abuzz is the realization that the strength of Earths magnetic field has been decreasing for the last 160 years at an alarming rate, John Tarduno and Vincent Hare, of the University of Rochester, wrote in a The Conversation article last year.

This collapse is centered in a huge expanse of the Southern Hemisphere, extending from Zimbabwe to Chile, known as the South Atlantic Anomaly.

The magnetic field strength is so weak there that its a hazard for satellites that orbit above the region — the field no longer protects them from radiation which interferes with satellite electronics..

If the poles really did do a switcheroo, Earthlings would notice, though scientists arent worried about a planetwide doomsday.

Just before a reversal, the extreme weakening of our magnetic field, the shield that protects us from charged particles constantly blasting the atmosphere, could cause trouble.

Live Science previously reported these charged solar particles could punch holes in Earths atmosphere akin to the ozone hole above Antarctica.

Whether those holes would have any true impact is debatable, scientists have said.

The increased radiation, however, could mess with the navigation of satellites and aircraft as well as electrical power grids.

Were this to happen today, the increase in charged particles reaching the Earth would result in increased risks for satellites, aviation and ground-based electrical infrastructure, University of Leeds geophysicists Phil Livermore and Jon Mound wrote in an article for The Conversation.

And those alleged links between magnetic pole reversals and lights out for Earth and all its creatures … well, those are more fantasy than in real life.

You know, we feel at our company that we have an open door policy.

That we're very open with everybody.

You know, if you have a problem, you have a need, something's happened, you want to

do something different, things aren't working out...I mean, we tell people all the time,

"hey, just tell us.

We'll see if there's something else you can do."

There are some personalities and some people that have issues that for whatever reason,

they can't come forward.

You just need to know that you can't help everybody.

When it doesn't work out, let those people go and move on.

You just gotta move on.

I believe in compassionate caring for employees.

I believe that our employees should bring their whole selves to work when they come.

That includes the problems, guys....the warts and all.

I've got warts.

They got warts.

We all got warts.

We've gotta deal with each other, and we have to learn how to communicate with each other,

live with each other, work with each other.

I spend more time with the people here at the office that I do my wife these days.

It's important to have all those skills.

Sometimes, it just doesn't work.

I think the thing for us is we do everything within our power that we know, but when somebody

does not live up to the expectations of our culture or someone doesn't understand that

they can come to us and talk to us, I can't do anything about that.

If they don't live in the culture, they've gotta be gone.

That's because we guard our culture above everything else.

If they can't come talk to us, and end up going by the wayside because they can't share,

I can't do anything about that.

You gotta let some people go.

That's just the awful, bare naked truth.

Even though you care about them and you love them and you want the best for them.
