Let's talk about scams!

The first one is the most easy to recognize and that's impersonating an Uber or Lyft employee.

There are a couple variations of this.

The first one is that you'll receive a request and then as soon as you accept it,

you'll get a phone call from someone claiming to be an employee.

They'll say that it's an identity verification and they'll ask for your Uber or Lyft password.

Obviously, you should never give anyone your password and Uber and Lyft would never want

to ask you for it.

This is just an attempt to get into your account, take your money.

Another is that someone will take a ride from you and they will claim that you will not

be getting paid through the app, you will be getting paid through some other way.

I've heard of them giving pretty legit-looking business cards and claiming that you have

to give Uber this code and then they'll pay you a bunch of extra money or something.

Obviously fraud.

Number 2! Ride theft.

Also two variations of this one.

The first is a passenger stealing a ride.

This is especially common in very metropolitan areas during the downtown hours.

This is why you never wanna ask "are you Kenneth?" you instead say "what's your name?"

Or you'll ask "what's the name associated with the account?"

You also don't want them to see your phone because they may look at the name and then

tell you that's their name.

Another one is a driver stealing a ride from another driver.

The other driver may or may not actually be an Uber driver.

What they'll do is they'll pick up the passenger and the passenger doesn't actually care if

they're in the right Uber, they just tell them where they're going, maybe give them

cash.

But a lot of times they'll see a passenger waiting and then they'll claim that there

was something wrong with the app and request to be paid in cash and Venmo or requesting

a ride separately.

Number three!

Additional people.

If you're in an area that has Pool or Line, sometimes people will request a ride, but

they will not disclose how many people they're bringing with them.

Pool and Line have a maximum of 2 people that you can bring with them.

Any more than that and you need to request the whole car.

So then once they get in the car, you can't pick up additional passengers.

The other one is bringing more than they requested.

For example, if they request an UberX, which only allows 5 passengers, and then you driving

your UberXL arrive, they'll put in more.

Or they'll just try to squeeze in additional people than there are seatbelts.

If you have an UberXL, you can request that they adjust the payment and they usually will,

but if you have an UberX and you take 6 people in your 5 passenger car, they will not adjust

it and you could risk getting in trouble, both with the law and with the companies.

If they tell you they will give you a great tip for it, never believe them.

Anything someone says about a tip is a lie.

Number four!

Incorrect destination or direction.

Sometimes they will ask you to go a different direction instead of following the GPS and

then that will drive up the price at which point they will claim to the company

that you did that yourself, and then they'll be reimbursed for the ride and you'll lose

out on it.

They may also ask for a different dropoff location and do the same thing.

Number 5! Anchoring during stops.

Sometimes passengers will request stops and being a nice person, you may or may not allow

them.

Being the savvy driver you are, you of course tell them to keep it under 3 minutes if possible.

And they say "yes, of course, no problem!" but they leave their bag in the car.

Or their dog.

Or their baby.

I'm not even kidding, I've had drivers tell me that.

So then when they're gone for 25 minutes, you can't just leave.

Or you can and you can just drop it off your Hub or, I don't know, fire department if it's

a baby.

Number six!

Surge fraud.

Sometimes the passenger will be smart enough to realize that where they're being picked

up is surging so they will change the pickup location to an area that's not surging.

They will then call up the driver and say "hey uhh I'm actually not at where the pickup

is and I don't know how to change it.

Can you pick me up at the corner of this and this?"

So now they get a ride that starts where they want without paying the surge pricing.

Never pick someone up at a different location than what's in the app.

Anything that you do that's not following what the app says is a risk for you.

Go to the pickup location, wait, cancel.

Number seven!

Lying about the driver aka "put your driver on blast."

So there's actually this uh photo that's floating around that gives you different ways to put

your driver on blast in order to get a free ride!

One example is to take trash from your bag, put it on the ground, take a photo, send that

to Uber or Lyft claiming that the car is dirty and getting reimbursed.

People who do any of these things are terrible, but these ones are the worst in my opinion.

You can literally be deactivated for things on that list.

So you could be ruining someone's livelihood.

And the last one, number 8, is canceling mid-ride.

This one is increasingly common.

There's actually a video I'll put in the description of a driver who experienced this and called

the passenger out when it happened.

By canceling the ride, they can no longer rate them and the driver is no longer getting

paid for that ride.

So if that happens, you should literally just let them out.

Some people will do it right on the freeway, personally I would get to an exit first, but

yeah, get that person out of your car.

If someone cancels the ride, you are no longer protected by the apps or your insurance and

you also are not getting paid so get them out.

Now the biggest thing that you can do to protect yourself from these kinds of scams is have

a dashcam.

Preferably one that faces both inward and outward.

The one that I have and has a lot of great reviews is the Ventrue N2 Pro.

It records bot in and out and has good night vision.

Another thing that you can do is keep your sound on for your phone to make sure that

you know if someone has canceled.

Especially if you use a different app for navigation.

And the last thing is don't rely on just one program.

If you drive for Uber, drive for Lyft as well so that if you get canceled on Uber, then

you still have Lyft as a backup.

Especially if you rely on it for paying your bills.

Hopefully this was helpful and now you know some ways to protect yourself.

If you appreciate the things that I'm doing, you can subscribe to my Patreon account.

I sometimes upload extra stuff there.

I haven't yet, but I plan to.

As always, feel free to email me or put things in the comments if you have a suggestion for

something that I should talk about or if you have a question that you need answered right away.

Have a great day and drive safe!

MCA Motorclub of America Scam or Not?

Hey guys, this is Takara, I just wanted to hop on and talk to you guys about this really great company

It's called

MCA Motor Club of America and what I want to talk to you about is

If it's a scam or not because a lot of people when they hear of Motor Club of America

They tend to think that this is a scam sort of sort of

Some sort of pyramid scheme people are just trying to play my other money. You know it's not real

but my question to you is is it real when you go to t-mobile to get a phone and

They give you the phone and you go tell a friend about it to get a phone and you get a discount is

It real to go

get an apartment and

You go tell a friend about it

And they go to the same place and get an apartment and you get half off your rent

I mean are those things real because this is the same thing

Motor Club of America is a referral program

Okay, it's yes. It's a service roadside assistance service. It offers you towing

offers you

Discounts it offers you

travel assistance

credit card protection

You know anything that you can name that would happen to you while you're on the road

They've got you covered

How awesome is that right cuz I don't know about you, but I'm a mom okay

and if something happens to me on the side of the road and

I get stuck and I don't have any way to get my son home because I may not be able to afford to

pay for towing or something like that I'd be freaking out a matter of fact that has happened to me and

Luckily at the time the car that I was in

You know it was still under warranty, so they came and got the towing because well, it wasn't under warranty

it was more like in the first 30 days, so it was the lemon law so they had to take the car back but

You know it's it's scary to be out here

Not knowing you know if something were to happen that you're gonna be okay because you may not

or mean I have the money to get yourself out of a jam and

That's another thing with more of a couple of America. You know it's not just service

You know it's the referral program

And this referral credit this referral program allows you to have a second stream of income you

Know for every person that you talk to you about this

Program that decides to take advantage of this one hundred and fifty thousand dollars worth of coverage

You know for just forty dollars thirty nine ninety to start

That's first and last month's of service, okay

And it's literally just nineteen ninety-five a month to keep this

I don't even notice the nineteen ninety-five coming out of my account okay

but

That's cheap for all of the benefits that you get from it

You know the discounts the discounts alone is crazy because I love to travel

I love to stay at hotels

I love to ram vehicles and go out of town and so being able to have that ability to get discounts on these things

That I like to do is awesome for me

You know that's extra money that I could be using while I'm out of town use them for my son

You know when I'm out of town to get him things. You know as a token of his trip. You know using things

you know using the extra money to pay for

You know that class that my son wants to do during the summer or that sport?

He wants to play or those materials. He needs for school and stuff like that that extra money that comes in handy for

Me and you know so it's it's not a scam. It's a referral program

Just like all of those other referral programs

You tell someone about the program they decide to take advantage of the service and get those benefits, and you get eighty dollars

now imagine if you tell one friend

every day for five days

Okay, that is five people

Five people that you got and that's eighty dollars per person, okay

so eighty

Times five you do the math

Okay, you could be making that a week

Okay, and that's just part-time

Sounds pretty simple and old all you have to do is post ads and it's not it's not in rocket science actually because I've

Got some guru. I don't know the ins and outs of the Internet. You know. I'm just a single mom

Who you know has worked in call centers?

Or worked in the grocery store you know for the maturity of her life

but what I do know is that I have a child and

I don't want to see him struggle

I don't want to not be able to provide for him because I don't have the money

I do not like the look on his face

When I can't provide for him for something and and it's those simple things

You know you can't provide for him those simple joys

It kills me to see his face like that, so I'm not some guru

I'm not some like marketing specialist or anything like that. I'm just a mom who wants to provide for her child and

Does what she can?

to be able to do that and

with motor for Motor Club of America it helps me to do that it helps me to have peace of mind when I'm on the

road with him it helps me to be able to have the funds available if

Something comes up or that he needs it, or he wants to get something

I have the funds to do it so it's not a scam. It offers me all of those conveniences to provide for my family

Twilight Syndrome – Search, Part 1: The Restroom Ghost - Duration: 25:19.

We won't believe anything...

...unless we see it with our own eyes!

[At least that's how I interpret that sentence...]

Preparing...

START OPTIONS

At my school, in the far north of the 3rd floor, there is a classroom 3-9 that is not being used anymore.

It is always locked so that no student can enter anymore, and yet...

...they say that when you walk past this classroom after 6 p.m., you can hear a female student's laughter from inside.

At my school, the stairs in the old school building have only 12 steps during the day, but...

...when you walk up these stairs, after the sun has set, there is 1 step more than usual...

They say it's caused by the ghost of a student who fell down these stairs and died on a Friday the 13th.

They say that if you go by the music room at about 2 o'clock in the night, you can hear the sound of a piano being played in the pitch black darkness of that room.

My friend heard it and she said it was Chopin's «Raindrop».

But there are even people who said they saw a white shadow sitting at the piano.

At my school, in the girl's restroom... you can meet Hanako-san.

If you stand in front of the fourth stall's door, turn in a circle four times and shout "Ha~nako-sa~n"...

...you will hear a voice reply "Yeees?" from directly behind you.

They say it's the ghost of a girl that was bullied and locked in there only to be forgotten, 10 years ago.

MIKA: "It's open!"

YUKARI: "Psst!"

MIKA: "Whoa, it's pitch black in here..."

YUKARI: "Be quiet already!"

MIKA: "Say, don't classrooms suddenly feel much... vaster at night? Like they somehow got bigger."

YUKARI: "That's just your imagination."

YUKARI: "By the way, Mika... Where do we go from here?"

MIKA: "Just up the stairs after that door. Our destination is the restroom on the third floor!"

MIKA: "This is the old school building alright... You can, like... almost taste the age of this place..."

YUKARI: "Hey, look! The stairs..."

MIKA: "Luck is against us, huh... It's kind of annoying, but we've gotta take a detour then."

MIKA: "At the far end of this hallway, there should be another stairway."

MIKA: "By the way, Yukari! Yukari!"

YUKARI: "What is it?"

MIKA: "Well, we're here, because the rumour said there was a kappa girl that appears in that restroom at night, but..."

MIKA: "I wanted to know, if you actually believe in it." [Kappa = a Japanese mythical water-dwelling creature.]

YUKARI: "Oh, come on. Act like a high schooler for once!"

YUKARI: "We're not in elementary school anymore. There's no way something like that will really appear."

MIKA: "How can you say that! This rumour even has a background story and all!"

MIKA: "So, like, 5 years ago after summer vacation there was a baby that was flushed down the toilet and--"

YUKARI: "Flushed down the toilet...?!"

MIKA: "Yeah, well... A girl had become pregnant and didn't want anyone to find out, so... you know..."

YUKARI: "......"

MIKA: "So this kappa girl is the spirit of that child..."

YUKARI: "Didn't you say something else just yesterday? That it was the spirit of a girl that had been bullied and died?"

MIKA: "Huh? I did?!"

YUKARI: "You're really something..."

MIKA: "Wh-whatever! The important part is that such a toilet ghost really appears in our school, too!"

CHISATO: "Uhm... Is it really okay to be here...?"

MIKA: "You came all the way with us and NOW you're saying that?!"

MIKA: "Besides, I didn't even invite you, anyway!"

YUKARI: "I'm the one who asked her to come."

YUKARI: "She's your senior, too, so show some respect!"

YUKARI: "What is it?!"

MIKA: "Outside the window..."

MIKA: "I think I saw something move there just now..."

MIKA: "Just kidding! Did I scare you?"

YUKARI: "......"

YUKARI: "You..."

MIKA: "C'mon! It was just a joke! Don't get mad!"

YUKARI: "I guess that's just the way you are..."

MIKA: "I'm just a pretty little sweetheart! ♥"

YUKARI: "... I should've never listened to you and come here..."

YUKARI: "There isn't going to be any kappa girl, anyway..."

CHISATO: "I think there is..."

YUKARI: "Huh?"

CHISATO: "I can feel it, Yukari."

CHISATO: "There's someone in this school buidling..."

YUKARI: "......"

MIKA: "Okay, we're on the third floor!"

MIKA: "The restroom is that way!"

MIKA: "Here we are!"

MIKA: "This is the restroom where the rumoured kappa girl appears!"

CHISATO: "The air is horrible in here..."

MIKA: "Well, it IS a room full of toilets, after all."

"Look!"

MIKA: "It's really sealed off. So the rumour is true...?"

CHISATO: "Yukari? What should we do?"

YUKARI: A: "Tell me how to summon this kappa girl." B: "... Let's investigate some more."

YUKARI: A: "Tell me how to summon this kappa girl." B: "... Let's investigate some more." [X]

YUKARI: "Mika, can you peek inside?"

MIKA: "That's a bit difficult considering my height... Let's see..."

MIKA: "Hmmm. No... It's impossible."

YUKARI: "Anyway, it doesn't look like anything could leave this stall."

MIKA: "... Maybe it's to trap something in there?"

MIKA: "And maybe what is trapped in there is that kappa girl..."

YUKARI: "Don't say that!"

MIKA: "Oh well, whatever. Would be boring to see the creature before we even summoned it, anyway."

MIKA: "So, let's try it out! Let's summon the rumoured kappa girl!"

MIKA: "The instructions for summoning her are actually really simple."

MIKA: "You just stand in front of this door, spin around 3 times, and then knock on the door 3 times!""

MIKA: "If you do that, there's supposed to be a female voice answering you."

A: "Can you explain that in some more detail?" B: "Might as well give it a try." C: "I really don't want to do this..."

A: "Can you explain that in some more detail?" [X] B: "Might as well give it a try." C: "I really don't want to do this..."

YUKARI: "...And then? What happens after we summon that girl?"

MIKA: "...Huh?"

YUKARI: "What's going to happen after she replies to your knocking?!"

YUKARI: "A girl will come out of this door?"

YUKARI: "Even though the door is nailed shut? How is that going to work?"

MIKA: "Uhm, well..."

MIKA: "I don't really know the details after the knocking part..."

YUKARI: "Why am I not surprised!"

A: "I don't think we should do this." B: "Oh well, let's give it a shot."

A: "I don't think we should do this." B: "Oh well, let's give it a shot." [X]

YUKARI: "Say, is it really necessary to do this in the dark?"

MIKA: "Err, I don't think there's a rule saying it has to be dark."

MIKA: "Should we switch on the lights?"

A: "Nevermind." B: "Yes, please."

A: "Nevermind." [X] B: "Yes, please."

YUKARI: "Nevermind. We'd be in trouble, if someone noticed the light from outside and came here to check it out."

MIKA: "You got a point."

YUKARI: "So how do we do this again?"

MIKA: "First we spin around 3 times."

MIKA: "Then we knock 3 times."

YUKARI: "What a stupid ritual..."

YUKARI: "One..."

MIKA: "Two more!"

YUKARI: "Two..."

YUKARI: "Three..."

YUKARI: "And now we knock 3 times, right?"

MIKA: "Exactly."

MIKA: "Go ahead! Knock yourself out!"

MIKA: "......"

MIKA: "Is anybody in theeere?"

MIKA: "Hellooo?"

MIKA: "Can you hear meee?"

YUKARI: "Knock it off, already, Mika."

MIKA: "Hmm... There isn't even, like, the slightest kind of rattling noise from inside or something..."

YUKARI: "Are you satisfied now?"

MIKA: "Meh..."

YUKARI: "Why on earth would you be sad that NO ghost appeared?"

MIKA: "Well, the truth is... There's another rumour about this kappa girl."

YUKARI: "...?"

MIKA: "You're supposed to be able to make a wish when you meet this kappa girl."

YUKARI: "A wish? And you actually seriously believe that?!"

MIKA: "Uhm, not necessarily, but... I just thought it might be interesting to try..."

YUKARI: "Well, that explains your enthusiasm, huh."

YUKARI: "Too bad it didn't work. Let's go home."

CHISATO: "Yukari, hold on."

YUKARI: "What's wrong?"

CHISATO: "Actually, I also know a story about a female ghost in a restroom..."

CHISATO: "My version is a bit different from Mika's, though..."

CHISATO: "I heard you can summon a lonely girl... who has been waiting for someone to play with her forever..."

MIKA: "Chisato! Do you know how to summon that girl from your story?"

CHISATO: "Yes..."

CHISATO: "A long time ago, when I was still very little, I was all alone at home."

CHISATO: "But I remember a little girl that was suddenly there and played with me..."

CHISATO: "A mysterious girl whose name I didn't even know..."

CHISATO: "She taught me how to summon the ghost from that story..."

MIKA: "What...?"

A: "I don't want to hear any more..." B: "And how exactly?"

A: "I don't want to hear any more..." B: "And how exactly?" [X]

YUKARI: "Chisato, can you tell us how?"

CHISATO: "Well... The part about spinning 3 times is the same. And then..."

MIKA: "Then what?"

MIKA: "You better not leave out the 3 times knocking part! That one's a must!"

YUKARI: "Mika! Let her finish talking!"

CHISATO: "Sorry, Mika..."

CHISATO: "But that's actually where my version starts to differ from yours."

CHISATO: "I was taught to say «One, one, two, two, one, two, two»."

MIKA: "One... two... what?"

CHISATO: "«One, one, two, two, one, two, two»."

CHISATO: "It's refers to a hopscotch pattern, where you jump on one leg, one leg, two legs, two legs, one leg, two legs, two legs."

CHISATO: "You can leave out the jumping, though. Just saying it is enough and the girl will come out thinking someone wants to play with her."

MIKA: "And what about the part where you can make a wish?"

CHISATO: "Well, you're supposed to call her when you wish to play with someone, so I guess in that respect... your wish comes true?"

MIKA: "How lame."

MIKA: "If I could really make a wish, I'd wish for something cooler."

Mika: "Like, a piercing! And perfume, and lipstick, and a ring..."

YUKARI: "Why the hell would you ask a child for that?! Buy that stuff on your own!"

MIKA: "Anyway, it sounds interesting! Why don't we give it a try? We've got nothing to lose!"

A: "Guess you're right. Let's give it a try." B: "No way. That's not even worth trying."

A: "Guess you're right. Let's give it a try." [X] B: "No way. That's not even worth trying."

YUKARI: "I never thought you'd be interested in this, though, Chisato."

CHISATO: "Sorry."

MIKA: "So... First, we spin around, right?"

MIKA: "And we do that 3 times, correct?"

CHISATO: "Yes, that's right..."

MIKA: "Alright, here we go."

YUKARI: "One..."

YUKARI: "Two..."

YUKARI: "Three..."

YUKARI: "And then we say... What was it again?"

CHISATO: "This part you should remember well!"

CHISATO: "It's: «One, one, two, two, one, two, two»."

A: "Let's say it all together." B: "I won't say it."

A: "Let's say it all together." [X] B: "I won't say it."

YUKARI: "Okay, all together now..."

[They are not literally saying numbers, but it was the best way I could think of for translating this; "kikku" and "ton", as I understand it, are onomatopoetica for jumping with one or two legs in hopscotch.]

MIKA: "Uhm, Chisato?"

MIKA: "Nothing's happening?"

CHISATO: "......"

MIKA: "Chisato?"

CHISATO: "......"

MIKA: "Huh, so in the end none of these rumours were real."

MIKA: "I really believed yours, Chisato... I was actually quite excited what might happen!"

MIKA: "How boring..."

YUKARI: "In that case... Let's just go home, okay?"

MIKA: "Roger!"

CHISATO: "......"

YUKARI: "Ah! Before we go home, I really need to..."

MIKA: "Huh?"

MIKA: "Ah, I get it. You've gotta use the toilet, right?"

MIKA: "I guess we'll go on ahead, then?"

A: "Sure, go ahead." B: "No, wait!"

A: "Sure, go ahead." B: "No, wait!" [X]

YUKARI: "I won't take long! So please wait here."

MIKA: "How long is not long?"

YUKARI: "...You're the most impatient person I know."

MIKA: "Yukari! You forgot something!"

MIKA: "Or are you not going to wash your hands?"

YUKARI: "No, I didn't? I was about to..."

«Hey...»

«Let's play together...»

YUKARI: "...D-did you see that?!"

MIKA: "Clear as day..."

CHISATO: "She really came... We summoned her..."

MIKA: "I can't believe it..."

YUKARI: "What should we do?"

CHISATO: "First of all, we should get out of the school..."

A: Turn around. B: Run away.

A: Turn around. B: Run away. [X]

A: Go down the stairs. B: Enter a classroom.

A: Go down the stairs. [X] B: Enter a classroom.

MIKA: "H-huh...?"

MIKA: "Why is she following us?!"

YUKARI: "A ghost that makes your wish come true, my ass! What a great idea that was!"

MIKA: "Hey, it's not my fault! It's what everybody told me!"

CHISATO: "Y-Yukari...!"

CHISATO: "Look..."

CHISATO: "We went downstairs from the second floor, didn't we...?"

MIKA: "But if that's true, then... why are there stairs leading down?"

A: Ask Chisato. B: Ask Mika.

A: Ask Chisato. [X] B: Ask Mika.

YUKARI: "What's going on? What should we do...?"

CHISATO: "I don't know... But... I don't feel any ill will from her..."

MIKA: "But she's still a ghost!"

CHISATO: "...Yes."

MIKA: "It's probably also the ghost's doing that the school has changed, don't you think?"

MIKA: "On what floor ARE we now?!"

«Why are you running away?»

YUKARI: "AH!!!"

MIKA: "She's here!!"

A: Go up the stairs. B: Go down the stairs. C: Enter a classroom.

A: Go up the stairs. B: Go down the stairs. C: Enter a classroom. [X]

CHISATO: "The whole school building, it's like it has become a completely different place..."

MIKA: "What?"

CHISATO: "I can feel all kinds of emotions whirling around."

CHISATO: "Thoughts and emotions... of many, many people..."

MIKA: "She's here!"

YUKARI: "Hide!"

YUKARI: "Is she gone?"

MIKA: "I think so..."

CHISATO: "No..."

CHISATO: "She's here!"

«Found you!»

CHISATO: "Yukari, quick!"

CHISATO: "Yukari, let's go upstairs!"

MIKA: "Upstairs?! What are you saying! That's a dead end!"

CHISATO: "If we can't go downstairs, then we have to go upstairs!"

CHISATO: "If we just keep running like this, we'll never get out of here!"

A: Go down the stairs. B: Go up the stairs.

A: Go down the stairs. B: Go up the stairs. [X]

YUKARI: "Okay, let's go upstairs..."

YUKARI: "Let's just hope it wasn't the wrong decision..."

MIKA: "Yukari, hurry up!"

YUKARI: "Yes! I know!"

YUKARI: "That way!"

MIKA: "...Now what?"

YUKARI: "We have... nowhere to run..."

«You...»

«...shouldn't be so scared!»

«After all...»

«Soon enough...»

«...you will see much scarier things...»

Hunting a Bank Box of Quarters - Silver! - Duration: 4:45.

let's hunt another box of quarters today

hey everyone its Rob with Rob finds treasure and I'm not giving up on

quarters you know I've never found a silver quarter partner hunting and I've

gone through some boxes my last box that I put together from the bank hopping

video which I'll post the link up above I did find a proof that was my best fine

so far on quarters I found some pretty good almost so circulated coins in some

boxes and some rolls but nothing better than the proof coin and I'm really

hoping to find my first silver now this box is open because the bank already had

it opened they literally had it on the counter and they were gonna fill their

drawers up when I walked in to return two boxes of Dimes and I said can I get

that box supporters and she said you know what I was just going to put it in

the drawer did you want this one or a different one and I said can I look and

she said sure and because it was circulated I didn't want to risk the

next one not being circulated coin so I took it but one did catch my eye and

again I'm a rookie at locating or spotting silver Enders but this one

right here looks a little little suspicious to me

it may be nothing but at the end of the day they caught my eye and it made me

say keep this box so I'm going to open this rule first pray that that's a

silver quarter that'd be a good way to kick us off but if not we still got 50

rolls to go through I'll open this up and I'll loop you in if I find something

good in it well guys it's not a silver ender it's just a weird toned 1996 and I

don't see any silver in this roll but let's not get discouraged we got lots of

rolls to look through all right guys roll number 12 and let me tell you there's a lot

of bicentennials in here and a grip of 65 through 69 s more than I usually see

so this looks like it's a good box and what even makes it look like a better

box is I think we got a silver quarter right

there I have been tested with a magnet because I didn't want it not to be

silver and I would be a foreign coin this could be my first silver quarter

ever please

1960 Denver we got our first silver quarter ever I am so happy this has been

a great great week for hunting coins man I knew I knew this box look good when I

saw all the old editors on it I thought you know what my gut says go with the

box that's open it was fake I'm taking it we've got a silver quarter in the box

also got a couple of really nice uncirculated this is an '07 this is a

2000 it looked like they're in perfect shape and it's hard to find mint state or

au type quarters in circulation so I pulled it aside for now

but that my friend is awesome and then I always hit the 2014 Wisconsin coins

for the high or low leaf variety but those aren't them but I just pulled them

aside to keep track we got a silver quarter guys and we're only in roll 12

so let's keep looking all right guys another box of quarters

hunted lots of discards I got a reroll I wanted more than one silver in there but

you know what I'll take a 1960 denver mint silver quarter today it's my first

I also pulled out this 1983 I always pull up the best P or D 83 of the box

that's the best they're never in good shape kind of a cool toned 1995 pulled

it out anyway we've got five state quarters that are

really great shape and I pulled those out there at least ten to eleven years

old as a minimum that's what I look for and then we ended up searching 12 2004 D

Wisconsin state quarters for the high or low leaf variety none of them had it but

that's my record number of those coins in a box not 2004 P's but D's only

anyway it was still a fun hunt I know I didn't have a lot of finds but

if you can give me a thumbs up for fun at finding my first silver quarter I'd appreciate it I

really appreciate you guys watching and as always happy hunting

Have You Ever Woken Up In The Middle Of The Night Unable To Move This Is Why! - Duration: 5:20.

Have You Ever Woken Up In The Middle Of The Night Unable To Move This Is Why!

By consciousreminder

For those who have experienced this eerie phenomenon, no explanation or description

is required. They will tell you it is one of the most disturbing

experiences they have ever had the displeasure of enduring and feels like you are being attacked

and held down by some type of a dark sinister presence. If you havent though, imagine

the following scenario;

Its the middle of a peaceful night, and you are sleeping contently. All of a sudden,

you awaken abruptly and cannot move, as if being held down but no one is there. You have

awareness of whats going on, but your whole body, from your toes to neck, cannot move.

Breathing normally is difficult because panic strikes. It also feels like there is something

pressing on your chest and, in rare cases, people report seeing demonic looking figures.

This might sound like an elaborate hoax or something from a horror film, but its actually

a very real problem that much of the worlds population struggle with. In fact, as you

read this, someone somewhere is dealing with this scary scenario.

So what is it? These symptoms all stem from an ancient sleep

phenomenon known as sleep paralysis.

In 2011, 35 researches studied more than 36,000 individuals. The authors found that an estimate

of about 7.6% of the general population experience sleep paralysis, which then increases to 28.3%

in high-risk groups, such as students who have irregular sleep patterns. While individuals

with conditions such as anxiety and depression, account for the highest population, with 31.9%

experiencing these traumatic episodes.

Dr. Daniel Denis, PhD who literally studies this for a living, sums the condition up as

follows;

When youre experiencing sleep paralysis, you become mindful. The idea is that your

mind wakes up but your body doesnt.

So why cant the body move if the brain is awake?

Everything actually relates to the different stages of non-REM sleep (rapid-eye-movement

sleep) and one REM state in particular. Although it is possible to actually dream in all phases

of sleep, the dreams experienced in REM sleep are more tangible and real. The brain is very

active during Rapid Eye Movement sleep, and individuals end up being paralyzed during

REM. But heres the interesting thing, researchers dont actually know why.

Researchers also cannot explain why individuals feel a sinister menacing presence when they

are trapped in sleep paralysis. This makes you wonder if what is going on is something

else? Unfortunately science is not fool proof. Never has been and never will be. Dr. Denis

offers the following theory; You get up with your amygdala yelling, Theres a

danger! So your brain needs to invent something to repair the paradox of the amygdala being

active for no factor.

This is one of the biggest problems with science though, they try to explain things that go

beyond their knowledge in conventional terms. My guess is keep an open mind, we dont

really know what is going on.

Different Kinds of Sleep Paralysis. There are 3 types of hallucinations that can

occur during sleep paralysis: incubus, intruder, and unusual bodily experiences.

Incubus

Here, people feel intense pressure on their chests and they feel they can not breathe,

or they have great difficulty doing so. This, however, is in the mind and it seems like

we cant breathe because we are afraid.

Intruder

The experience of the intruder is when we have what researchers believe to be hallucinations.

The researchers describe it as a hypervigilant state of the midbrain, which makes people

overtly sensitive to whats going on around them.

Unusual bodily experiences

These individuals feel as if they are having an out-of-body experience and feel as if they

are levitating or flying around. This type of sleep paralysis is very different and is

still one that scientists struggle to explain.

How can I avoid this nightmarish scenario? Prevention is very difficult. But those who

have anxiety and depression tend to show a greater risk. Being as such, tackle the problem

as you would when combating these mental disorders not with pills or medication, but with healthy

alternatives such as exercise, healthy diet, spending time in nature, etc.

How long should you live in a house before selling? (especially for first time home buyers) - Duration: 3:06.

Hi everyone, welcome to another edition of Homebuyer's School.

Today I'm joined by Bridgette Beaulieu, a area manager

with Brookfield Residential, and today the question we're gonna answer is,

"How long do I plan to live in my future home?" So when someone's buying a

house, how long do they typically plan to live in that house?

It depends if it's their

first house, the second, third what not. Usually when it's one of your first few

homes that you do stay three to five years, the idea is to get into the

housing market and build equity, and so typically three to five years you've

done that, you can sell and move on to your next home. As time goes,

people's lives change as well, families come along, as kids begin to kind of

age a little bit--become toddler-ish, that's when you might plan to stay in

your home a bit more--

--or you probably need a bigger space maybe?

Exactly, exactly.

Do you notice that certain people, maybe it's your second

home, your third home, do they start staying longer in those homes?

From my experience, second homes still do that--or still maintain the 3 to 5 year

range--third homes, fourth home, those do tend to extend. You're starting to--how

can I say it-- each home you buy is a move up and so

by the time you're at the third or the fourth

you're getting closer to having that home full of your wants and your needs.

Although what happens though when you

plan to maybe downsize? So like your kids have left, right, they've gone

either off to college or you know, they're starting their own families

right, and then you don't need all that space, then obviously do people--do you

find people just continue living in their third or fourth house?

From my experience, when people are in that empty nest phase, they

do absolutely want to downsize because again, now their lives have

changed, they tend to have more free time, they want to travel, they don't

want to just stay at home all the time, they don't need all that space, and also

that house is equity, so now they can cash it in.

Perfect, well thank you very much
