Do You Hate Sin? - Duration: 2:53.

The real uncertainty that people struggle with is,

"What will an all-knowing, all-present, all-powerful God do with me?

What does a god like that expect from me?"

Well, God isn't just all of those things.

He's holy.

King David continues to write in Psalm 139:

Kinda odd, isn't it, to hear a Christian talking about hating?

How could someone who knows God's love for him possibly talk about hating?

Well, when we realize that sin is rebellion against God,

when we realize that sin is separation from God,

when we realize that sin destroys souls,

when we realize that Jesus paid the price on the cross for those sins with his own life,

maybe the better question is,

"How can we not hate sin?"

Some of you are moms and dads, sons and daughters, grandmas and grandpas,

Some of you spend your days as mechanics or accountants.

Some of you are enjoying retirement.

You are married and unmarried, male and female, young and old.

But no matter who you are, you don't have to wonder what God's will is for your life in this coming year.

Hate the sin of your past.

Hate the way that it's rebellion against God

and the pain that it's brought into people's lives.

Hate that sin and as much as you try to hate it as much as God does,

never, never, never, forget what God did about it.

Never forget that Jesus paid the price for those sins on the cross.

Never forget that Jesus has freed you from those sins,

freed you from the guilt.

Never forget that with Jesus, and because of Jesus,

you can now overcome those sins.

Never forget that because of Jesus you can call out to God in prayer,

knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he doesn't see any sin in you,

anymore.

Then you'll have certain comfort in uncertain days.

Let's pray:

Heavenly Father, you are holy.

When my sins frighten me, show me again that you hated your son, Jesus, in my place.

And since he died for me, now you only love me.

Give me the comfort of knowing that since Christ took away my sins,

when you search me, you find nothing offensive in me.

Give me the comfort that at the end of my days you will take me to life everlasting in heaven.

Trusting in your holiness I pray,

Amen.

Animation workflow with Referenced Alembics - Duration: 6:01.

Hello, in this video I will show you a typical Clarisse workflow using referencing of Clarisse

projects and alembic files to build and render multiple shots with an animated character.

So let's first have a look at what we have available, so we have a shots and assets folder,

We'll have a look at the shots folder a little later on

So in the assets we have this shaded and lit set we will build our animated shot in later

on, there it is.

But let's focus on the creature and see what we have available.

So we have this elephant creature, we have a shading project and an elephant dot abc

alembic file, so the alembic file is here.

It's a static geometry, basically our creature's bind pose.

If we have a look at the shots folder, we have this, which is a first animated version

of our geometry.

And, in shot zero one, we have this second animation.

Ok, so we will first create an asset out of the static geometry alembic file we have,

so we're gonna start with an empty project, reference our static alembic file, rename

this reference as abc like alembic, and we will reference our shading project

we have here which contains a few materials we will quickly assign to our creature's geometries.

There we go.

So now we have an asset, we will save this as elephant Clarisse project and we will reference

this asset to build our shots.

So first we create a new scene, we get rid of this light, and we will build our shot

template, we will first reference our set.

If we have a look at our Shots folder, we have a template here and in the assets we

have a camera project so we will use a referenced camera instead of the default one and we will

assign our image 3d layer to this camera Ok And then, one last thing, we will reference

the asset we just made out of the static geometry.

There it is.

One last thing, we will render the image to disk and set its output, if we have a look

at our folder tree, there it is.

Ok, now we can save this project as our shot template project

And now, I will need to retarget a few references to get the camera and the animation.

So let's start with "Shot_00", we retarget our camera reference from Template to "Shot_00",

camera is here, we can see that it's now moving And in our elephant reference, we have the

alembic target which points to the bind pose, We will override this file path to the animated

version of "Shot_00".

(So shot zero) And there we we go, we have our "Shot_00".

We're gonna save this as "Shot_00.project" And now to switch from "Shot_00" to "Shot_01",

we just need to retarget again the references So for the camera, "Shot_01" camera and

for the alembic target, we go to "Shot_01" Here we go, we have our second shot setup.

We can save it here.

And, That's it!

assets, static and animated geometries.
