Waching daily Jan 8 2017

So tell me about your first experience, like first choosing

and going to a 7 days event with Access Consciousness.

When I first heard about Access and I did my first Foundation and now COP,

I only had 24 dollars in the bank and my life was not great.

So 7 days was like "don't even bother, you can't even get there",

all this stuff was getting in the way.

Then someone said to me, "Why don't you just register?

And when you register, what if that could create an energy for you?"

I kind of felt that could be true,

but at the same time all this judgment and stuff was coming up.

"Okay it doesn't matter, I can register and still not make it - it's okay"

So I registered and then a couple days after

I got a phone call from an amazing being

and all I can say is, just that little chat with her

opened up possibilities for me, that it could actually be possible.

That I could go, on $24

and it didn't make any sense.

Then I got the courage up to contact Gary Douglas

for five minutes of facilitation.

He gave me a clearing and I used the clearing and I turned up.

This magic showed up to fund it.

I went there with hardly any clothes,

not knowing anyone, feeling like a pile of poo...

What I guess I want to say is, that just me taking the step to register,

even though I couldn't see a way,

there was an energy that was created in my life, that I can't explain.

Then when I went I didn't ask, I was just so excited to be there.

I felt like I couldn't ask anything but everything changed.

Even though I didn't actually ask anything, just me choosing created it.

Then the next year, I seriously can't cognitize how this happened.

Again, I just registered. I didn't have the money for it.

Windows, doors, everything just started opening

and I could take my daughter as well.

From being in poverty for so long,

to then be able to take my daughter overseas.

Also we could actually go for a few days of holiday,

it just was impossible, it was impossible, but it was possible.

Then the next year I was able to take my son and my daughter and me

and that was a miracle, that really was a miracle.

I did not even think that could be possible.

So guys, what gets created when you just register,

even if you're too scared to ask questions

or you don't get the energy of it, or you think it's a beyond

or you think that you need to be something

to be able to go to a 7 Days.

I knew nothing, I felt like a pile of poo,

I didn't know anyone except Michelle Edhouse, that's all I knew.

But, the people there... it's amazing!

They hire the whole venue so there's no other energies

except these beautiful people who have you back,

that are just there to contribute to you, they want you to succeed.

I didn't know this energy.

now I'm four years in - everything changed,

all my friends have changed and it's a whole new world.

So guys, if you think that you can't get there

or you need to be a Certified Facilitator to choose it...

What if that's not true?

What if just by registering your life could change?

So, give it a go, that's all I'm saying!

The Science of Bias, Empathy, and Dehumanization | Paul Bloom - Duration: 4:49.

So we have all sorts of biases to favor our own group over others.

Some of these biases I think are morally respectable.

I'm not embarrassed that I love my children more than I love other children.

Or love my wife more than I love other people.

But others are less respectable.

We have biases about skin color, about national origin, about even sports teams where these

things may seem kind of arbitrary and not very important.

But they play a huge role in our lives.

We're hugely biased creatures.

We're naturally carve the world into in group and out group.

I do some research on babies and I would argue that this in group, out group distinction

comes naturally to us.

That you could see it in babies before their first birthday.

Even if empathy were to be stripped from our heads.

If you were to take a pill that would blot out your empathy you'd still be biased.

You'd still favor yours over another group.

There are many sources of bias.

It seems to be wired into all of our emotions, all of our decision making.

But empathy is particularly vulnerable to bias.

I use the analogy of it as a spotlight and, in fact, many of the fans of empathy use that

analogy as well because it captures the apparent good that empathy can do.

It zooms you in and makes you care.

But a spotlight only illuminates a small area and a spotlight only illuminates where you

point it.

And so empathy is exquisitely subject to bias because our bias tells us where the spotlight

is pointed to.

I could try to do a rational cost benefit analysis and I can do a pretty good shot at

being unbiased and fair adding up the people who suffer from the people who benefit figuring

out a solution.

But once empathy comes into the mix bias is inevitable.

And so empathy making decisions based on empathy exaggerates our in group, out group bias.

It brings it to the fore and makes it very hard to override.

So it's a great question what goes on when we're so rotten to other people.

And one ingredient of it I think really is dehumanization.

It's when we think of the out group not as a people but just as things.

And this doesn't necessarily motivate cruelty.

You're not cruel to things.

You're not cruel to nonhumans but it motivates a sort of moral indifference.

And so if you want to ignore the fates of people dehumanizing them is a great way to

do so.

I'm somewhat skeptical though about the importance of dehumanization in atrocities.

I used to think this played a huge role.

I was convinced by people who do wonderful work like David Livingston Smith who argue

dehumanization is at the core of all evils.

But now I'm less certain.

There's been critiques of this work and a lot of critiques point out that the people

we hate the most, the people we torment the most, cause them to suffer the most aren't

people we don't view as people.

Because if you don't view them as people why would you want to make them suffer.

It's people you hate.

In other words it's not people you kind of dehumanize but it's rather people who

you acknowledge their humanity and this is why you want to make them suffer.

This is core to wanting to make them suffer.

I was on the radio earlier today and before me there was a segment on revenge porn.

And it was chilling.

It was typically men in relationships and relationships go bad.

And then they go on to post intimate photos and videos of their girlfriend on porn sites,

send them to their family members, registered them to sexual offender sites and STD sites.

Put on their address and contact information online to try to goad other men into sexually

assaulting them.

And you think about what happens with behaviors as evil as that and it's not that these

men are thinking oh, their girlfriends are nothing.

They're not even human.

It's rather they think their girlfriends have committed this horrible moral wrong and

they want them to suffer.

So I think that in some ways sadism and cruelty of all sorts involves a recognition of the

humanity of the other person.

Because this recognition is what fuels the cruelty.

If you thought that they weren't human you may want to eradicate them or get rid of them

but you wouldn't want them to suffer so much.

Right To Disconnect Laws Explained - Duration: 3:56.

BEGINNING ON JANUARY 1 OF THIS YEAR, FRANCE ENACTED A NUMBER OF

LOSS THAT I WOULD ARGUE SOME AMERICANS WOULD BE JEALOUS OF.

ONE OF THOSE LAWS IS THE SO-CALLED RIGHT TO

DISCONNECT LAW WHICH WOULD ALLOW EMPLOYEES TO SET BOUNDARIES

WITH THEIR EMPLOYERS WHEN IT COMES TO CHECKING EMAILS OR

TAKING PHONE CALLS AFTER WORK HOURS.

THE WAY THAT THIS LAW IS IMPLEMENTED IS KIND OF UP

TO THE EMPLOYEES IN THE EMPLOYER'S.

A KIND OF CREATES ROOM FOR NEGOTIATION.

ESSENTIALLY THE NEW PROVISION IN THE LABOR LAW DOES NOT BAN

WORK-RELATED EMAILS AFTER WORK HOURS OF COURSE, BUT IT

DOES REQUIRE THE COMPANIES WITH MORE THAN 50

EMPLOYEES NEGOTIATE A NEW PROTOCOL TO ENSURE THAT

WORK DOES NOT SPILL INTO DAYS OFFER AFTER WORK HOURS.

FOR INSTANCE, SOME CONSULTANTS HAVE RECOMMENDED THINGS

INCLUDING THAT EMPLOYEES AND MANAGERS AVOID REPLY ALL

FUNCTIONS ON THEIR EMAIL.

DOES EVERYONE AT TYT HERE THIS, BY THE WAY?

DOES EVERYONE HEAR THIS?

REPLY ALL SHOULD BE BANNED.

BUT WHAT IF YOU'RE MAKING A FUNNY JOKE?

I DON'T WANT TO KNOW YOUR FUNNY JOKE.

BUT WHAT IF THE JOKE IS FUNNY THOUGH.

SOME OF THEM ARE REALLY FUNNY.

RARELY THOUGHT I WANTED TO IT, NO REPLY ALL.

ANOTHER PROTOCOL SETS A TIME EACH EVENING AFTER WHICH

EMPLOYEES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO REPLY.

SOME EMPLOYEES DESIGNATED A 10 HOUR PERIOD, OTHERS 12

HOURS BETWEEN 7 PM AND 7 AM.

ESSENTIALLY THIS IS A WAY OF ALLOWING EMPLOYEES TO KIND

OF TAKE BACK THEIR PERSONAL LIVES AND NOT FEEL LIKE

THEY ARE GOING TO DEAL WITH REPERCUSSIONS IF THEY DON'T

ANSWER EMAILS AFTER WORK HOURS.

THIS IS BIG AND I KNOW THIS IS SOMETHING THAT BOTHERS PEOPLE

BUT IT WAS A FOR ME PERSONALLY OF THE MANY THINGS OF WORK

AT ANY JOB OR PARTICULARLY THIS JOB THAT YOU BOTHER ME,

THIS IS IT HIGH ON THE LIST.

I'M ALWAYS ON MY COMPUTER ANYWAY.

THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE FROM MY POINT OF VIEW.

BUT I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS REALLY DOES BOTHER YOU AND FOR

SOME PEOPLE, SOME OF US OUR MINDS ARE ALREADY FRAGMENTED

FROM THE CONSTANT CHECKING OF ALL OF OUR SOCIAL MEDIA THAT

ADDING ONE THING DOESN'T CHANGE MUCH BUT IF YOU WERE TRYING TO

HAVE A WORK FREE WEEKEND, HAVING THAT ONE EMAIL WAS SOMETHING

THAT YOU HAVE TO DO RIGHT THEN COULD BOTHER YOU.

WE ARE IN A UNIQUE SITUATION BECAUSE WHILE WE DO GET

THOSE AFTER-HOURS EMAILS AND WHILE WE DO WORK AFTER

HOURS QUITE A BIT, I DON'T THINK THAT WE WORRY ABOUT PUNISHMENT

AS MUCH AS OTHER PEOPLE WORKING FOR OTHER COUNTRIES.

JUST BECAUSE I'M NOT BOTHERED BY IT DOESN'T MEAN I

BEGRUDGE OTHER PEOPLE FORGETTING RIGHT TO OPT OUT OF IT.

I THINK IT'S PROBLEMATIC WHEN YOU'RE FREE TIME IS

CONSUMED WITH THIS.

I'M SORRY, I HAVE TO ANSWER THIS EMAIL REALLY QUICKLY.

I HAVE TURNED NOTIFICATIONS FOR EMAIL OFF ON MY PHONE.

I NEVER GET NOTIFICATIONS FOR EMAIL.

I CHECK IT REGULARLY EVEN WHEN I AM NOT WORKING BUT IT BECOMES A

HUGE DISRUPTION IN YOUR LIFE AND IT LOWERS, WHETHER YOU REALIZE

IT OR NOT, IT LOWERS YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE CONSIDERABLY

BECAUSE IT GETS IN THE WAY OF PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS.

ALL OF A SUDDEN YOUR CONSUMED WITH THE TASK THAT YOU

DIDN'T EXPECT TO DO AFTER WORK AND NOW YOU HAVE TO.

BY THE WAY, THAT IS JUST ONE EXAMPLE OF IT.

PHONE CALLS OR ANOTHER EXAMPLE.

I THINK THE REPLY EMAILS, IT'S NOT JUST A PERSONAL GRUDGE,

IT FEEL FILTER EMAIL BOX WITH SO MUCH CRAP AND I ALREADY

DEAL WITH SO MUCH.

PLEASE DON'T EMAIL ME.

2015-2017 F-150 Gibson 3" Single Aluminized Cat-Back Exhaust (2.7L EcoBoost) Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 7:34.

Hey, guys, Justin with americanmuscle.com here, and this is my detailed review of the

Gibson 3-Inch Single Exit Cat-Back Exhaust System, available for all EcoBoost powered

2015 and up SuperCrew F-150s, equipped with a 5.5-foot bed.

In this video, I'm gonna talk to you about a few things you can expect when checking

out a Gibson system for your new EcoBoost powered F-150.

We're gonna talk about the sound a little bit, we're gonna break down the materials

and construction, and then finally, we'll give you a quick little walkthrough of the

install.

And honestly, guys, it's gonna be a very quick and easy install here, one out of three wrenches

on my difficulty meter, and I'll have a little bit more detail on that coming up later on.

Plain and simple, guys, you should be checking out the Gibson single exit exhaust system

for that new EcoBoost F-150 if you're looking to make a little bit more noise, but you wanna

spend the least amount of money in the process.

Now, that's because the Gibson is currently the most affordable option out there for your

EcoBoost powered ride, and it is gonna come back by a limited lifetime warranty which,

by the way, is a great thing to have on your side when you're talking about a value Cat-Back

like the Gibson here which typically doesn't utilize the best materials when it comes to

corrosion resistance.

So, with that said, let's get a little further on this Cat-Back.

Now, maybe some of you guys are familiar with Gibson, maybe some of you aren't, but if not,

here is the deal.

Again, it's gonna be one of your more affordable options out there when checking out aftermarket

exhaust solutions, no matter what your application, whether it be truck or Mustang related.

All their stuff is gonna be built very well despite that low cost, it's all gonna fit

great as we discovered, and it is gonna be backed by that limited lifetime warranty we

just talked about.

Now, let's talk about the sound you can expect when checking out the single exit system here

from Gibson and honestly, guys, on our EcoBoost powered F-150 here, it really was pretty enjoyable.

I know at the end of the day, a lot of EcoBoost owners wanna keep things as quiet as possible,

and while there will be quieter options out there in the aftermarket, the Gibson system

certainly isn't over the top and it's certainly not obnoxious.

In fact, I'm gonna give this one a very soft three out of five on my one to five or one

to wake-the-neighbors scale.

Again, you do hear it but it's not really all that loud at all.

You are gonna hear this one inside the cabin a little bit, but the drone is practically

nonexistent.

The sound itself is gonna be shaped by Gibson's SFT Superflow serious muffler here, which

is pretty cool because it features a chambered and a baffled combination.

So, you get a lot going on with this muffler here but again, it is going to increase the

sound overall, but it's still gonna keep things in check.

Because again guys, this is not the loudest system out there.

Now, this is gonna help increase the overall volume efficiency here, increase in your flow,

of course, but it doesn't feature any internal packing.

Which is kind of nice because sometimes that internal packing, depending on what system

you're looking at, can kind of degrade over time changing your exhaust tone over time.

So, because of that, the Gibson is gonna maintain a very consistent exhaust tone over the years.

But let's move away from the sound a little bit, let's talk about some of the construction,

some of the materials used in this system, and like we talked about earlier, guys, this

is a value or entry-level Cat-Back.

So with that said, don't expect the premium materials or premium weld that you might see

with a $1,000 plus systems.

However, with that said, the Gibson unit is still built very well, built here in the USA

and not overseas.

Material wise, you are looking at aluminized steel here with the Gibson, which is pretty

much par for the course when you're checking out any value or entry-level Cat-Back.

Not a bad material per se when it comes to overall performance.

However, it's just not gonna be as good at reducing surface corrosion as some of the

more premium material such as 409 or 304 grade stainless.

Keep in mind guys, Gibson is still throwing a lifetime warranty at this thing, which is

very rare because a lot of times with that aluminized steel, you see a year maybe two

or three-year warranty with the systems.

Not the case here, again, with the Gibson, they're throwing a limited lifetime warranty

at this system, which definitely gets a big thumbs up from me.

Now, ultimately, guys, if you do like this system, you do like the sound it produces

but you prefer to grab it in a stainless steel construction, Gibson does make a system that

is very similar to the one I have on the table with me here, but they use 409 grade stainless

in place of the aluminized steel.

But a little better material means a little bit more dough to you at the end of the day.

Going even further with the construction, you'll find 3-inch mandrel bed tubing pretty

much from tip to tip here.

And speaking of tips, Gibson does throw in this massive 4-inch tip.

Now, this guy is actually made from premium grade 304 stainless steel which is really

nice because this is the part you're gonna see the most.

And because it is made from that premium grade 304 stainless steel, that's gonna maintain

a really nice finish pretty much throughout the entire lifespan of the exhaust system.

So, no rust, no corrosion, should look good for years to come.

Keep in mind this is Gibson's single exit system, so it is gonna give you a look very

similar to stock.

The exhaust is gonna dump right behind that passenger side rear tire.

However, if you're after slightly more aggressive or maybe modified look, Gibson does offer

a dual 3-inch split system here as well.

You can grab that aluminized or even a full stainless option.

It's gonna sound pretty similar to the single ones that configuration here, guys, because

they all utilize the same SFT Superflow muffler.

But again, it's something worth checking out if that's look you're after.

However, keep in mind more material usually means more money, and that is the case with

the Gibson tool exit systems.

Now, I've mentioned price a few times throughout this video and I'll say it again right here,

guys, this is going to be one of your most affordable options when it comes to turning

up the volume in your new EcoBoost F-150.

In fact, you're gonna be dropping right around $400 for this guy, which is very reasonable

for an aftermarket Cat-Back.

And again, it's a great way to increase the volume without dropping top dollar on a more

premium system.

Like I mentioned earlier, when it comes to the install, guys, expect a very straightforward

one out of three wrenches on my difficulty meter here.

Maybe an hour or two in the garage or driveway before you're making some noise.

This is going to be a direct replacement for all SuperCrews out there with a 5.5-foot bed.

So because of that, don't expect to bust out the souls all here at this one because there

is no cutting or no permanent modification needed.

Instead, you're really looking at a basic socket set to get this guy in place.

All right, guys, final thoughts on this product here from Gibson, if sticking to a very tight

budget is your number one priority but you still wanna get a little bit more sound out

of that new F-150, the Gibson Single Exit System might just be your best option on the

site.

So, that's my review of the Gibson 3-inch Single Exit System for your EcoBoost F-150,

which you can find right here at americanmuscle.com.

Everything is black and white or some strange shade of grey,

Everything they say is just more sound.

They say that we will never get ourselves away from here.

We're tethered to our own Earth's atmosphere.

Everything we hate to love is somehow all we know

From time to time you should pause and appreciate all the people in your life - Duration: 3:18.

A lot of people don't necessarily focus on the things that they're trying to attain.

They focus on how to get there. And then once they have them,

they focus on attaining the next goal. For me, the biggest goal that I ever

had in my life was to become a mother. From the time I was a child,

all I ever wanted to be was a mother.

I helped to raise my sisters. I was married when I had my son.

The moment that he was put into my arms and I got to turn to my ex-husband and

say, "We get to keep him," Was probably one of the best moments of my entire life.

Because the 12 hours of labor that I was in before that and everything that led up

to the moment where I actually got to hold him in my arms were...that's what all of

that was for. That's what made all of that worth it. And ever taking my child

for granted and his presence in my life and the gift that I was given

by having him in this life life is not something that I could ever possibly do.

So a lot of people don't necessarily recognize that all of the people that

you've been given the gift of having in your life are someone to appreciate,

especially your children. But even the person that you meet at the grocery store

that is doing something to fulfill their own life on the opposite end of your

transaction and has a family of their own that they're going home to,

would appreciate a pleasant interaction, would appreciate acknowledgement.

Not just handing over money for a transaction, getting your goods,

and leaving. Saying hi, acknowledging who they are and how their day is going is

something that can help anybody in any situation no matter how bad their day

is going or their life is going.

Something as simple as that can help you to have a better day on your own and help

you to appreciate everything that you've got in your life, the job that you're

going to every single day that's helping to put food on the table for your family

that you get to spend time with when you get home. And actually pausing to

appreciate all of that and recognizing that at any moment it can be taken

from you, whether it's the fact that you get removed or they get removed.

Either way, you always want to focus on the fact that you don't regret not

spending time with them. You want to make sure that you spend time

with them, that you tell them how much you appreciate them, that they understand that

they're an important person to you. That's showing them how you would like to

be treated as well, because if you can show appreciation to someone else,

it's that much easier for them to show you how much they appreciate you as well.

You should explore your options, and take advice form someone who has been in your situation - Duration: 1:00.

For me, when it came to doctors, in the beginning of the process I relied a lot on

who was available within my insurance network. That's not always a bad thing,

because there are some amazing doctors out there who participate in even the smallest

of plans. So you do always have options available. But I would say that taking

advice from people who have been in this situation, as far as their experience with

a particular doctor, or at least their experience in a situation and how it was

dealt, so that you can make an assessment for yourself

whether or not you're comfortable with that, is a great way to at least go into

an appointment with a new doctor with some sort of knowledge of how they may or may

not treat a situation. And then, obviously, personally assessing your

actual interaction with them.

2005-2014 Mustang Ford Boss 302 Strut Tower Brace (GT, 6,V Bullitt, Boss) Review & Install - Duration: 3:56.

Hey guys, Stephanie with americanmuscle.com here with my review of the Ford Boss 302 Strut

Tower Brace for 2005 to 2014 GT and V6 Mustangs.

The Ford Boss 302 Strut Tower Brace is a great option for those of you out there that would

like to have or keep a strut tower brace that will clear a taller intake manifold setup.

There are some benefits that a strut tower brace can provide, but unfortunately, a lot

of times performance mods don't allow you to fit a brace over the motor.

This strut tower brace is factory equipped for the Boss 302, so it has to have more clearance

to fit over that manifold and still work with the factory hood at the same time.

A strut tower brace can make a difference in every car, even a stock car.

The brace is for those that are looking to tighten up some of the freedom that the front

end has since a strut tower brace is going to help stiffen the front suspension of the

Mustang by providing added support to the strut towers and preventing flex during cornering.

This is going to make the chassis more rigid which will result in better handling because

eliminating the flex in the strut tower works to maintain a flat tire on the ground at all

times giving you as full of a contact patch as possible.

The strut tower brace's job is to keep the strut towers parallel at all times, so there's

no understeer.

This is Ford original equipment so you can count on it to have an OE fit and finish as

well as OE performance.

The brace is designed with more of an angle, so it will fit over top of a taller intake

manifold setup and still fit under the stock hood.

It's a plain brace for a clean and factory like appearance, and you can see that it's

powder coated in nice silver.

You're definitely going to notice a strut tower brace anytime you pop your hood, so

the fact that this is powder coated is nice because the powder will always keep it looking

fresh.

Just a little something to keep in mind, since this is already powder coated you know that

you can change the color of the powder if you want to to make it pop more or go with

the looks of your car if you've got a show car.

Keep in mind that like a lot of other suspension parts a strut tower brace is going to make

a noticeable improvement by itself even on a completely stock car.

But as usual remember that this is only one component of the suspension, and the improvements

of the brace can be even more considerable when you start pairing it with other suspension

mods.

Once you start making other suspension upgrades, the strut tower brace will work to keep everything

tied together and feeling tight and more stable.

This means overall more consistent suspension no matter what you're doing with your car.

As far as price this is a Ford OE part so you can expect to pay a little bit more for

it.

You're looking at spending about $180 for this brace, but there are some other options

on the site for the GT and V6 if that's out of your price range, but they probably won't

work with a taller intake manifold so just keep your setup in mind.

I've also seen this brace fit over some top mount supercharger setups as well, so this

really is a go-to option for those that want the benefits of a strut tower brace but need

one that clears their setup.

One thing I will note, though, is that this brace won't work on the GT 500 cars.

If we move on to the install, this is an easy install that anyone is able to tackle by themselves

in the driveway or the garage and should take less than an hour to complete.

I'm going to call it a one out of three wrenches on the scale.

You won't need any tools out of the ordinary just a 13-millimeter socket with a ratchet.

The instructions are very easy here.

The brace installs with only four bolts.

That's two nuts that are on each side of the strut mount.

You just back the nuts off of the studs here and place the brace over the studs.

You align the brace by centering the studs in the brace holes.

You want to loosely thread the nuts back onto the studs, and once the brace is aligned you

can fully tighten down the nuts and that's all it's going to take.

I would take the car for a quick test drive to make sure everything feels okay and then

go from there.

Wrapping things up here, the Ford Boss 302 Strut Tower Brace is an OE part that works

to reduce play in the front end of the car.

It's going to stiffen up the front, and it keeps the strut towers as parallel as possible.

It's one of the only options that will fit with a stock hood over a taller intake manifold

setup, and that makes it a go-to option for modded cars.

It looks good under the hood, too.

It's very easy to install, and you can check it out more online right here at americanmuscle.com.

2005-2014 Mustang Wilwood Superlite Front Brake Kit Review - Duration: 6:56.

Hey, guys, Stephanie with americanmuscle.com here with the Wilwood Superlite front brake

kit for 2005 to 2014 Mustangs.

The Wilwood Superlite front brake kit is a good kit for those guys out there that are

looking for a big brake upgrade kit that'll bump them up to a six-piston caliper and two-piece

rotors, but without having to spend a ton of money.

Big brake kits are an excellent upgrade, even if your car mostly sees street time.

But they do tend to be very costly, as in at least $1,000, sometimes closer to $5,000,

depending on what you're looking for.

With this kit, Wilwood's offering a definite upgrade and a lighter setup at one of the

most affordable prices.

There are a ton of things to consider when you're shopping for a brake upgrade kit.

You need to determine the level of performance that you want out of the brakes, what you'll

be doing with your car, track, drag strip, or just a street car, your wheel setup, you

wanna make sure that the brakes will fit, and some smaller things like dust levels.

And, of course, your budget is going to play a big role in this.

As far as brake kits go, bigger does tend to be better.

Braking performance depends on surface area, and by this, I mean how much surface area

the brake pads have to bite into.

Larger discs and larger pads have more surface area and, therefore, will allow for shorter,

faster stops, simply because of the bite the brakes will have.

On top of that, increased surface area means better heat dispersal.

And with brakes, you want as little heat as possible if you want highly effective stopping

power.

This is a bolt-on front brake kit that's going to come complete with all of the items that

you'll need for the upgrade, and that's too many things to list here.

The kit offers these big boy six-piston calipers, some high-performance BP-10 smart brake pads,

which will bite hard, but won't leave a large amount of dust on your wheels, and two-piece

rotors.

Now, the rotors are just over 13 inches, and they're drilled and slotted, which will help

to dissipate heat quickly.

They're also black electrocoated.

So let's break that down some, if you will.

Six-piston calipers are going to be an upgrade over the factory four-piston calipers.

And that's going to be another two pistons for each side, pushing that pad and creating

a greater, wider clamping force.

The upgrade in pistons does mean a tip in brake bias, though.

So that's just something to keep in mind.

And these front calipers are going to require a greater amount of fluid as well.

Moving on to the brake pads, the pads are an important piece of the puzzle here.

They're a component that's going to be directly in contact with the friction surface.

So you wanna make sure that you're getting the right brake pads for your application

and your rotors.

The BP-10 pads are a medium-friction pad.

They're made from a high-performance street use compound, which means improved friction,

longer wear, and lower dust levels than a standard replacement pad.

They're made to provide a fast response without high-rotor abrasion, and they're manufactured

for smooth engagement.

The abrasion level is important, because you want to make sure the pads aren't going to

chew up your rotors.

These pads are okay for street use, which is a factor that you will need to consider

if your car sees street time.

You don't wanna be running a track-only pad on the street.

That just gets dangerous.

Looking at the rotors, they're iron rotors to work with the pads that we just talked

about, and they're slotted and drilled two-piece rotors.

The slotted portion of the rotor is the grooves that are cut along the face here where the

pad makes contact.

When there's repeated heavy braking, a layer of gas and dust forms from the material transfer

that's caused by the friction, and the slots give a place for the gases to escape to.

This means more contact surface area for the brake pad, which we all know is a good thing.

So by creating more contact surface area, the slots work to fight against brake fade.

As far as the cross-drilling, the thought behind drilling rotors is that it offers a

way to cool the rotor.

Much like slotting a rotor, the drilling gives the gases a place to escape to.

Well, with all of the advances and improvements in brake systems today, drilled rotors offer

more of a cool appearance than anything else.

They do help some with cooling, and they will reduce pad glaze with the help of the slotting,

but I will say that a drilled rotor does tend to be more eye-catching.

Either way, Wilwood's got you covered with both a slotted and cross-drilled rotor.

There are a handful of benefits in moving to a two-piece rotor like these are.

First of all, they're lighter than the original one-piece rotor.

A lighter rotor means lower spinning weight.

The two-piece also has better heat dissipation, and a two-piece design means the disc is going

to be able to expand and contract freely without stressing the hat.

This is a true sliding design and will help prevent the disc from warping.

Another thing to consider is that when it comes time for replacements, you only need

to replace the rotor ring instead of the entire piece.

The last piece of the rotor is the electrocoating.

The electrocoat is a form of painting that's actually pretty cool, but it results in a

perfectly level coating even on uneven surfaces and especially on items that have a complex

shape.

And I know that a brake upgrade kit is for performance, but it's hard to deny that big

brakes look killer behind a set of nice wheels.

There's a custom appeal to them, a cool look.

And, honestly, they aren't cheap, so they better look good.

And you can see that the Wilwoods do that.

As far as price, you're looking at spending about $1,600 for this kit.

This is a complete kit that'll come with everything you need for the upgrade, which is too much

to list here.

They only thing you'll need to consider is upgrading brake lines since this kit will

not work with the OE lines.

Wilwood does offer a set of flexible front brake lines that'll work with these calipers,

and you'll see them in the drop-down menu on the Product page.

In the world of brake upgrade kits, though, this is one of the most affordable kits, especially

since you're bumping up to a six-piston caliper and a two-piece rotor that's both drilled

and slotted.

You can find a larger rotor out there in other kits, but you are going to be spending a lot

more money.

Like I said before, it really all depends on what you're looking for and your budget.

One other thing to consider when it comes to the price is that with a two-piece rotor,

down the road, when it comes time to replace the rotors, you'll only need to replace the

rotor rings and not the entire rotor.

And as far as fitment, you will need a 17-inch wheel or larger to clear these brakes.

So when it comes time for the install, it's not extremely time-consuming, but you're going

to wanna have a little bit of knowledge in order to do this yourself.

And that comes down to a safety thing.

If you aren't sure, I'd side on letting a shop perform the install.

But otherwise, you're looking at a two-hour project and a three out of three wrenches

on the scale.

To give a general overview of the install, you're first gonna wanna double-check that

you won't have any clearance issues with your wheels.

And Wilwood gives you directions on how to do this.

Then you can move on to disassembling the OE front brakes, so your calipers and your

rotors.

And as far as assembling the new setup, you're looking at things like a new caliper mounting

bracket assembly, the rotor and hat assembly, mounting the new calipers, and having the

knowledge to adjust and shim things as needed with the calipers.

You also need to make sure that the rotor and caliper are properly aligned by adding

or subtracting shims.

Then there's always the bleeding process, as well at the end of the install.

And don't forget about the break-in period with the new brakes.

You wanna make sure they're safe and have a long life.

Overall, the Wilwood Superlite front brake kit will upgrade your front brakes to a six-piston

caliper with two-piece rotors that are drilled and slotted.

The stiffer calipers will give more of a consistent pedal feel and improve responsiveness, and

the larger rotors increase heat capacity, so you can brake harder with less fade.

All together, the kit gives superior braking performance with a custom look and appeal,

so you can expect improvements like shorter stopping distances, less fade, and a more

aggressive pedal feel.

As always, I suggest you check this kit out more online.

And for all things Mustang, keep it right here at americanmuscle.com.

Repairing gas stove flame - Duration: 4:48.

Hi today I want to tell you about reason behind the problem of having improper flame in your

cooking stove and how can you repair it.

Some time you realise that the flame is not as it use to be , one of common issue which

could cause this issue is dirty gas nozzle, in order to repair such problem you just need

to clean the nozzle with thin wire or special nozzle cleaning tool , which is simply its

a tine wire fixed to handle

since I had this tool availableI have used it in my video.

but similarly you can use thin wire or niddle too, it should only be the same size of the

gas nozzle hole, as you will see in the video .

You can reach the gas nozzle once you remove the flame distributor

as you can see.

then carefully insert the wire into the nozzle hole and push it back and forth and also turn

it around to clean the hole .

thats it it should be ok now . return the flame distributor in place and

try it.

as you can see the flame is much better and it burns nice and blue

I will be posting new videos every week so don't forget to subscribe

10 tips for eco-friendly travel - Tips by Tolt - Duration: 3:21.

Tourism is responsible of about 5% of global CO2 emissions

You may think "ok, it's not that much" except that...

the sector is booming and should reach 2 billion international tourists before 2020.

So what can can we do? What are the simple habits we can adopt

to keep travelling and discovering while reducing our impact on the environment?

The first thing to do is to reduce meat consumption even when traveling.

Livestock farming actually causes more greenhouse effect than transport!

For two reasons: deforestation and methane emissions

which has a greater greenhouse effect than CO2.

So I'm not saying that you have to become a Vegetarian,

but replacing a steak with chicken, eggs or vegetable protein would be a very good start.

Second, we can also avoid travelling by plane or car as much as possible.

I know it's obvious and I also realize it is complicated to go from Paris to New York swimming

especially when you only have two weeks of holidays.

But let's be honest, it is often possible to take the train

or once there to rent a bike rather than a car.

I am also pretty sure we're missing out on many beautiful places around us so why not travel where we live?

And if did not really have a choice,

think about carbon offsetting! Some websites like Goodplanet.org or Myclimate.org

allow you to calculate the emissions linked to your trip and then to financially support

an eco-project. It's not as good as reducing emissions

but it's a good start! Choosing eco-responsible housing can also have

a real positive effect. Why not stay at the inhabitant or do couchsurfing?

This will not only reduce your impact but you will also have a much richer experience.

And if really, you want the comfort of a hotel,

be sure to choose labeled establishments.

Consuming locally is not only a better cultural immersion, but also a good way to reduce your environmental impact.

Rather than a Coca-Cola or a McDonalds, why not take a tour of the market

or sit in a typical little restaurant? Avoid polluting activities

I'm not going to lie to you, I've already done Jet-skiing or snowmobiling. But honestly,

I will not do it again. Next time, it will be kitesurfing and dog sledding!

And I swear to you that you have just as much fun or even more!

Walk on the back of an elephant or swim with dolphins, is really tempting!

But this often hides the disastrous conditions of captivity and maltreatment.

So why not rather observe the animals in their natural habitat?

It's all silly but investing in a gourd for example, it's doing without dozens,

even hundreds of bottles of plastic water. And what's cool is that

it comes down to a lot of things: cutlery, bags, clothes ...

You may not know, but every year between 4,000 and 6,000 tons of sunscreen

is spilled into the sea, damaging ecosystems, because of the harmful nanoparticles they contain.

It is obviously important to protect yourself from the sun

but avoid exposing yourself when the sun hits hard,

put on a T-shirt or use organic sunscreen certified without nano

is a very good start!

Finally, your environmental impact is played out

as soon as you prepare your trip. Why not focus on a search engine

like Ecosia that pays 80% of its profits to a tree planting program?

And if you're missing an accessory, consider rental sites from particular to particular

like Kwaala.fr for example. This allows to consume less and save money !

These are the few ideas that have come to me. This is obviously not perfect

and I do not pretend to be it myself but I am convinced that the change

will go through many small actions. Besides if you have other ideas,

do not hesitate to share them for comment.

There is no small gesture when one is 60 million to make them!

Chronic Illness Sufferers Want You To Know & Exciting News | Sophie - Duration: 12:08.

please don't judge a book by its cover

please understand that you know not all

illnesses are visible.

oh, and on a complete side note, if you are bored and

haven't had some spare time on your

hands and watch some TV totally

recommend watching 'Jane The Virgin', I have

have watched like a season and a half in

like a week and i'm not even ashamed

about because it's a really really

awesome programme, bit late to the game,

love it though

perfection... love it.... great actors

actresses. It's really awesome so totally

think you should go watch that

Hello Everybody, welcome back to my channel or if you are

new welcome to my channel and I hope you're well and I hope

you're all having a fantastic start to

the new year and I have some awesome awesome

exciting news

so if you want to hear that news stay

tuned to the end of the video to find

out what it is but, for this video I thought

I would talk about five things a chronic

illness sufferer would love you to know

and understand a bit more, so yeah

let's crack on with the video.

So the first thing on my list is grumpiness and

rudeness and short-tempered irritable

that kind of thing

now before you say anything because I

know you are in your head

we all have those days regardless of

whether we have a chronic illness like

if you think when you're tired or when

you are unwell you get a little bit

grump - de - grump. And I mean we get that too

too, but, our's is just obviously on a few more

days than any anyone else. And we

feel horrible about it i know i have

said some really horrible things to my

parents and my family and i really don't

mean to and I don't like it and I feel

bad and I don't think, 'oh I am unwell

I'm gonna get away with it

and I always do apologize and you

have to understand that i know people

said oh it is all very well being sorry

and stuff but

don't do it if it was that easy it would

be done

And number two is one that I

absolutely

oh I hate. I know when I was at school I

had this one girl who would consistently

consistently cancel on me every single time you made

arrangements and I just started to kind

of take it personally that it was like

something that I've done or something was wrong

with me and I want you to know if you're

the person that's being canceled on it

that we don't mean that at all sometimes

life just gets on top of us, our health

takes a bad turn

I'm someone who doesn't like planning too

far ahead for that reason I don't know

what my healths gonna be doing and I

absolutely hate the feeling it gives me

inside and I have to cancel on someone

I hat it soo much. I have found and this

could help you is just ask them to come

and chill with you or if you are the person

remember that although you feel bad

being cancelled on, that person also feels bad

and they start feeling lonely as well

because they can't just go out with

someone else

number 3 - fatigue and being very tired are

two very different things

fatigue is like a million times more

tired and it's like you just feel like

your body has the flu because you're

just so like your body is just

completely drained and it becomes achy

and sore and they're two very different

things so if someone says to you I'm like

I'm really fatigue you know I can't

do go out, they don't just mean ah I'm tired like,

I had a late night last night, like they're two

very very very different things number

four is something that I struggle with

myself daily and if I know it's hard for

other people to understand if you're not

in that position but I'm someone who is

very stubborn if you know me personally

you're on you will know I'm very open

and I am someone who tries to show

myself and others around me that just

because you have a chronic illness

doesn't mean you can't achieve things

you want to you might have to find a way

around it but you can achieve anything

that being said that are things that

sometimes are just not very accessible

for one reason or another and for me

personally it's things like going out

for a meal

I have a lot of problems with food and

eating and moving after food and for me

I just find going out to eat a meal very

uncomfortable. I know someone, she was the

first person I ever spoke to that had

gastroparesis and you know

other illnesses as well

but she was the first person that I ever spoke to and she has

had a lot it a lot worse than I have and she has spent a

lot of months in hospital you know restricted

to a bed and right now she's out there

and she's doing amazing with her swimming

and she is reaching goals and achieving

things swimming that she never thought

would be possible

a year ago, but she pushed herself and she

listened to her body so she didn't push herself too far but, it

became accessible but sometimes there

are things that just aren't gonna be you

know right

there'd been no good me going to a food

tasting thing because you know that's

so unaccessible for so many

reasons so please understand that

sometimes if a chronic illness sufferer says

no to something it could be tiredness, it

could just be that they find that very

unaccessible, but I know that I find hard

to admit that and i find it hard to say

it so I don't, I just they no - which I know is

isn't right

and it's the whole easier said than done thing

And last but not least, Number five is not all illnesses

are visible and i'm sure you've heard me

saying this a hundred thousand times if you have seen a lot of my videos

and it just kind of is what an invisible

illness is. It is an illness that you

can't see it is something going on inside the

body not outside. It's, you know, it's not a

a broken arm that you're in a cast, you are not

necessarily wheelchair-bound I'm sure

you've seen it floating around on the

internet i know i have various times but

it goes with people leaving notes on a

car you know windshield/ windscreen,

I don't know where I'm living these days

and I read one recently and I was hurt

and it wasn't even me that got the

letter. Basically a disabled woman and

her daughter parked in a disabled bay and

went into the shops or wherever it was

they went and what you couldn't see was

that that was a good thing to her and

she actually managed to walk around with

her daughter and she wasn't wheelchair bound

but what you didn't see is you know what

goes on behind the doors what goes on

yesterday what goes on tomorrow, what could

happen when she is halfway walking about

and someone left a note on her car

saying you know I hope you're enjoying

being in a disabled bay and you should be

ashamed of yourself and you know this

that and the other to me that's really

nasty and that's really hurtful because

you can't see what's going on inside

someone's body and you know she was

having a great day she was feeling

relatively ok and she comes back to that

and if you know it goes and in hand in

needing to raise awareness for these

conditions because people are so

judgmental and they just see what they

can physically see, they don't think about you know

what's going on inside

what's going on behind closed doors what

happened yesterday what happened why

what you that ... you don't see. SO...

understand that just because something

isn't visible doesn't make it any less

real than something that

is visibly there. You know having a broken

arm

you can't actually see that broken arm

you on know because there is a cast on it you

know it i find it so frustrating and

it's one of the reasons why i want to

help raise awareness because I i get i

know i get it so much because I do cheer, and

I work and yes I do push myself to do

those things because I want to do them

but like I said, what you don't see is how

I am after cheer, don't see how i am

after a day of work, or a week of work

you don't see you know what happened in

the middle of my day 20 minutes after you

saw me. I've had these

comments and it's hurtful seeing or knowing

others that have had these comments

because it's like you're telling us that

were lying and you don't believe us and

we have a hard enough time getting

doctors to believe us to get a diagnosis

we don't then need it from everyone else and

please don't turn around me and say oh

well you look fine, you must be fine

really....

can you see the you know what's going on

inside my stomach because if you can, you

have awesome vision!

somehow I don't think you can

so yeah... don't judge a book by it's cover

well that is all for this video I hope

you enjoyed it or learnt something or a

mixture of the two and if you did be

sure to give it a big thumbs up and in

order to raise more awareness

be sure to share the video or share

knowledge or research and then show

either or and if you are not already, please

be sure to hit that subscribe button

join my family we could have some more

fun and games and learn and experience

things together because this is the year

for us. AND for my exciting news for a

new year a new start i am now a CheerFit

Ambassador and you may be thinking

what does that mean basically i'm gonna

inspire you guys to be fit and enjoy

cheer or just you know exercising

conditioning in general. I'm going to be

sharing lots of fun exercise tips that I

like to do and conditioning and

stretches if you're a flyer or if you're just

gonna stretch because it is good for you and

yeah we're gonna have a ton of fun this

year we're going to be healthy and

exercise and yeah I thought it would be fun to

be an ambassador, so that is what I am for

this year woo woo. So if you have any exercise

that you love to do definately

be sure to let me know in the

description in the description

nope.. in the comments and just yeah

let's be healthy and exercise More because it is

so good for your body

you have no idea it's good for like

energy, motivation, mind set, your body so

yeah....

I'm going to be showing exercises

for everyone so they are kind of light

exercises that you can make harder or you can

have it easier if you are unable to

them hard, so watch out for those.

So, up over in that corner i'm gonna leave

the link to my last video and right down

there I'm gonna leave a link to one of my other

illness related videos that I've done so

we can learn more and more awareness so

click on them and until next time, keep

watching, Stay Strong and stay safe

Bye Guys xxxx
