Hi and welcome to this new video

to continue to help you set up your own Recalbox.

Last time, we reviewed the hardware that you need

and software to install.

Now, we will focus in your retrogaming games collection

and how to add roms to your Recalbox.

Know that with Recalbox, you can store your games straight to the SD card

or on a USB key

that you plug to your Raspberry.

We do recommend you use the second option.

It is for a guarantee of safety, speed and simplicity.

So, you only use your SD card to install the Recalbox's OS

then, games are stored on a USB key.

The advantage of this technique, if your Recalbox ever has a failure,

is that you'll be able to format and re-install your OS

without losing any kind of personal data.

That wouldn't be the case if you had stored your games on the SD card.

We'll see how to store your games on a USB key during a next video.

Anyway, if you are aware about the risks and you still want

to add your games on the SD card of your Recalbox,

here is how to do.

First step,

make sure that your Recalbox is plugged,

power on and connected on the same local network as your computer.

To transfer files,

we suggest you use an Ethernet - RJ45 connection.

This solution is really faster and more stable.

Next, on your computer, open "My Computer".

Go to the network section, where you should see your Recalbox.

Now, you should see a "SHARE" folder. For example, this folder contains

the "BIOS" directory, where you will add the BIOS files

for all systems you want to play.

It is not yet over!

You'll also find the "MUSIC" and "SCREENSHOTS" folders

where your ingame screenshots are stored, or even your "SAVES".

And, of course, it is the place where you'll find the "ROMS" folder, the place to add all games you want to play.

Inside this folder, you can see that every system has its own folder.

Whether for BIOS or ROMS files,

I recommend you read the text files inside

each of these folders.

These files contain many tips for finding

files that you'll need.

So, let's open, on our computer, the folder

that contains our games, then we'll select them,

and we'll simply drag'n drop these files inside the right system folder.

It is done!

Now, let's check our Recalbox.

Before playing, you must

refresh your gamelist to displays your

last modifications on the screen.

It is really easy,

Press START button on your gamepad to open the main options menu.

Now choose GAME SETTINGS

then, scroll to UPDATE GAMELIST.

Validate and you'll be able to enjoy the games you just added.

You can also reboot your recalbox to refresh the gamelist, but it takes longer.

So as seen during the introduction, this method works pretty well,

but it is not the one that you are advised.

You should really consider investing in a USB key to store your files.

We will see in a future video

how to setup your Recalbox to store your games

on an external support.

You'll see it is really easy and faster than using your local network!

So, now you are ready to start your first games!

We wish you good games,

and see you very soon for new Recalbox videos!

How to Grow a YouTube Channel FAST: Top 5 YouTube Tips for 2017 - Duration: 6:19.

YouTube has changed, again.

And again.

But you can stay ahead of the curb moving into 2017 with these 5 ways to grow your YouTube

channel and audience quickly with the new YouTube algorithm changes.

Let's take a look.

My name is EposVox and I've worked for a YouTube MCN for the past 3 or so years and

I've been YouTube Certified in Audience Growth for the past 2 years.

I've been on YouTube in various forms and fashions since the beginning.

All of this experience has led me to help coach some pretty awesome channels and now

I'm giving my tips and tricks to you.

Here's my top 5 ways to grow your audience and your YouTube channel in 2017.

These first 3 tips relate directly to the new YouTube algorithm changes and what it

focuses on most, while the last 2 are best practices that I will always recommend to

grow a channel.

I like to give a lot of valuable info for each point, so I will have timecodes in the

description for each tip.

Starting with number 1 - If you really want your channel to grow quickly, you need to

have daily uploads.

Used to, we would recommend that people upload at least once a week to run a channel at all,

with ideal schedules being 3 days a week.

Now, I honestly recommend trying to post every single day, or at least on all 5 week days.

The new YouTube algorithm focuses on daily active users - which is going to be heavily

influenced by how frequently you post.

So the more days you post on, the better your daily active users statistic is going to be.

Not only that, but every piece of content serves as an entry point to your channel.

Something new for users to discover in search, related videos, or by someone sharing it to

them.

The more videos you make, the better you'll get at it, and the bigger an archive you'll

build up to bring viewers in.

Tip number 2 is to balance your content scheduling between covering trending topics - or "tent-pole

programming" - and creating long-lasting, evergreen content.

These two content types are key to growing a channel on YouTube (or any content platform)

but balancing them is more important than ever.

2016 was the year of trending topics and clickbait.

Entire channels were built, or re-vitalized, on just tent-pole programming and clickbait

alone.

If you talk about current events, relevant issues, game releases, etc. - and do it well

enough, with the right timing - you can rake in some serious views.

However, I don't think that running on trending topics alone will be as viable in 2017.

More people than ever will be using this tactic, and thus competition will be high for just

about any topic area.

And it's super easy for independent channels to get beat out by channels with full teams

behind them who can move much quicker on a topic.

Secondly, YouTube continues to implement changes that takes the focus more and more away from

subscribers and subscription views, and more on related videos.

Subscribers are the driving force behind the metrics that can get a tent-pole video ranking

in search and related videos - and if less subs are seeing your video, that video may

be less likely to do well.

Instead, I feel a strong balance between both tent-pole programming and creating longer-lasting,

evergreen content that will get views over a long time will do best for your channel,

and this is due to the change YouTube has made for tip number 3.

Emphasis on overall "watch time" and audience retention has pivoted to instead focus on

overall "watch minutes."

This is literally what it sounds like - the total number of minutes watched that a video

generates.

From 2015 to early 2016, the focus was on audience retention - so we saw a lot of channels

grow by releasing 3 minute videos that viewers would consistently watch 100% of.

YouTube switched later in the year to watch minutes and those same channels went from

3 minute videos to videos just over 10 minutes in length.

Now, it doesn't matter if viewers watch 100% of your video or only 25% - what matters

is how many total minutes they watched in the video.

So for tip number 3, that's what you should focus on in your videos - getting people to

watch as many minutes of your video content as possible.

Now, I don't mean to just go and make a ton of super long videos - if your videos

are boring, people still won't watch much of them, and it still won't help you.

Instead, you've got to play to your strengths.

If you make really good, short and concise content that lots of people watch all the

way through - keep doing that.

Lots of playthroughs and shares will add up.

If you can balance your content out and keep people engaged throughout longer videos, make

those.

Or, if you can spin your content into a series and get people watching through entire playlists

- even better!

The system is designed specifically to not be gamed.

So this isn't a cheap trick you can just "do" and gain success magically.

Your content still has to be good, and worth watching in the first place.

Always remember that.

Alright, tip number 4 is to focus strongly on crafting catchy, click-worthy titles.

I'll say it - clickbait.

Here's the thing about clickbait, though - it's not all bad.

What people actually have a problem with is misleading clickbait.

That feeling when you open up a website or video only to find that it has nothing to

do with what you were expecting based on the title or headline.

That is not okay.

But otherwise, the masses of people on the whole jump right at clickbait of all kinds

every hour.

News articles, websites, videos, tweets - the art of creating a title worthy of being clicked

on is actually very important.

So instead of keeping boring titles out of principle or some romantic sentiment to "how

things used to be" - it's a smart idea to make your titles as catchy and click-worthy

as possible if you have any hope of competing in 2017.

Then let your content deliver on the title's promise.

Lastly, following in line with the last tip, catchy thumbnails are more important than

ever.

Your video needs to stand out visually, with the title and thumbnail playing well together.

The thumbnail should prominently feature the subject of your video, with minimal text.

Don't just type your video title overtop the thumbnail - that's what the title is

for in the first place.

Instead, add to the overall impression that the title and thumbnail create together.

You have to find a balance between time spent on your thumbnails and overall results gained

- but better thumbnails will almost always result in more clicks.

But again, don't mislead anyone.

And that's it!

My top 5 tips to grow your YouTube channel quickly in 2017.

SmartFilmProjects BTS: Our Drone Setup | Camera anti Vibration Mount - Duration: 4:38.

Because us arrived many questions due to the last weeks: How did we

shot out drone videos and what are the components of the drone?

Lets give it a try with a short overview in this video.

The frame is a DJI S800 Hexacopter.

All six arms are individually removable.

We also use the Naza control by DJI.

We fly with GPS support.

In front here ist he GPS module.

The landinggear can be pulled up, so we can

turn 360 degree with the gimbal.

With that you have no restriction in your sight.

For the remote control we have decided us for the Graupner MZ18.

Its indeed a pretty expensive model, but its very easy to handle,

Its indeed a pretty expensive model, but its very easy to handle,

So its very user friendly.

The battery pack is a rather cheap model,

The battery pack is a rather cheap model,

We got 8000mAh for 1,1 Kg with 6 cells, this pretty nice.

The gimbal itself is by ACR Systems – the BeSteady One, which already has some years.

But works alright.

However, for quite a long time we had problems with vibrations, even with the gimbal.

We managed to get rid of the vibrations with Taica Alpha Gel,

which we got from Composite Point.

These are gel pads, which we modified to our own adapter plates.

They consist on 3 levels.

Furthermore we had to work on more adapter plates and brass pins

to attach it all.

In Conclusion it all works pretty fine.

Here you can see how our first recordings looked like.

They are very shaky, blurry and there much movement in the picture itself.

And here an example, how the anti-vibration plate managed to

handle the vibrations.

The good thing on this gimbal is the modular structure, which means

we can simply plug in an RC receiver.

You can then with a further remote control, in our case a Graupner MX12, control the gimbal.

That means 2 persons can individually control the copter on

the one side and the camera on the other side.

To adjust the camera in a proper way you have to know what is filmed at the moment.

This means you have to know what the camera is currently seeing but we also have a plan for this.

We got this AV- transmitter, it consist of this sending unit

and this receiver unit.

The only problem is that the Panasonic GH4, whith what we are filming, just has

micro HDMI output

This means we are getting the HDMI signal in here, this goes to this HDMI to

to AV converter and the AV signal then goes to the sending unit, who sends the AV signal.

The video signal is then received by an AV receiver.

And from that it goes in our mobile monitor.

Equipped with that you have a good view on what is filmed currently.

The only problem was that the sending unit needs an extern power source.

We got a solution by taking the gimbal batteries from the BeSteady, that, ill

show it to you here, just have this connection, modified them and

brazed a second power connection.

So now, Gimbal and Sending unit getting supplied parallel with voltage.

This works pretty well, because of the high capacity and the gimbal

also doesn't really needs so much power

Hair Extensions 2017 - Duration: 2:10.

So i purchased the Irresistible Me hair

extensions.

They arrived in a double package,

double-sided package; One containing the

actual extensions and then a smaller

pouch containing trial extension. You can use

the tester. Place it against your hair to see

if its what you like.

If you don't like you can exchange it. I

brought...I "bought" the shortest

length. They also send you extra clips.

Here is the product in my hair. Like I

said, they're short. I didn't want them to be

very long as I where them to work. Um, here

i'm just separating to show the extensions

and I have my real hair on top. So this is it,

after work.

The only thing I could say is I was a

little disappointed that the curls fell out

and

started to look like an octopus.

So here is the back of the extension. You

can see there's still a lot of body in

my hair as well as the extensions. Here

I'm just parting it to show you how far

beneath the actual top of my head that I

clipped in the extensions.

Um, I never had a problem with them

falling out or sliding down. They stayed in

place the entire day so....
