Instant Rava Vada Recipe - Suji Vada Recipe - Sooji Vada - Semolina Vada Recipe Video in Hindi - Duration: 5:51.

Rava vada is a very tasty and crispy snack

Lets see the ingredients required for making it

Here 1 cup = 250ml

Semolina - 1 cup

Blended yogurt - 3/4 cup

Roasted groundnuts - 2 tbsp

Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp

Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp

Salt - 3/4 tsp, adjust to taste

Cilantro - 2 tbsp, chopped

Curry Leaves - 10 to 12

Ginger - 1 inch piece, grated

Green Chilies - 2, finely chopped

Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp

Oil for frying

Lets start making sooji vada

Take semolina in a large bowl, add salt

Add yogurt and mix

Batter should neither be too thick nor too thin

Add a little water

Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes

Crush these groundnuts into a powder

We have made a coarse powder of these groundnuts

Its been 20 minutes

Add baking soda

Mix well

Add groundnut powder

Add green chilies, cilantro, ginger, curry leaves and cumin seeds

Add black pepper powder

Mix well

Batter is ready

Heat the oil

Oil is heated, turn gas to lower

Apply some water on the palms

Make a small ball of the batter, flatten it

Wet the finger with water and make a hole in the center of vada

Turn it onto to fingers of other hand and gently put it into the oil

You can apply some oil on your palms instead of water

Fry till golden brown while flipping it often

They have turned golden brown now take them out onto a paper towel

You can adjust the size of vada according to your choice

Fry them on low heat

You can serve it with any chutney in breakfast as tea time snack or pack it in tiffin for kids

Rava vada are ready. They are very crispy and easy to make.

For women under 50 is 25 g daily.

Low calories- apples have little calories.

If you replace these by sweets you can lose weight amazingly.

Sweets cannot be resisted but this fruit is a great replacement and healthier too.
