Hello, everyone! This series of Finnish language lessons is based on this book.

I bought this book in Lappeenranta, in Finland.

And I asked my Finnish friends to read the chapters of this book.

Ruu's nose is running and she doesn't have an appetite.

Mummy takes Ruu's fever.

The thermometer says Ruu's fever is at 38,5 degrees.

Ruu has caught the flu

and is not able to go to daycare today.

If Ruu stays at home, other children will not catch the flu.

P. Daddy stays home to take care of Ruu.

Father uses the phone and calls his workplace

to let them know he will not be coming to work today.

Ruu is upset: she will not meet her friends today.

If only Hermanni the Mouse was keeping her company!

Ruu is starting to cry a little because everything feels so lousy.

Then Mummy remembers: They left Hermanni at the health clinic yesterday!

Eppu promises to pick Hermanni up after school

and Ruu feels better immediately.
