So today we're going to talk about PCOS, polycystic ovary syndrome and menopause
what to expect when you have PCOS and you're going to go through menopause
what's going to happen now this is a question this was a video topic that one
of you viewers recommended that I talked about and I think it's important because
many PCOS patients have no idea what to expect in menopause and things do change
first of all you need to understand that PCOS is a metabolic syndrome that means
you have increased inflammation blood pressure may be a little higher your
hormones are gonna be out of balance you're gonna have increased issues with
insulin resistance increased cholesterol level and a lower metabolism so maybe
some weight issues as well now once you go through menopause one of the
interesting things with menopause is your metabolism naturally lowers and you
may have a little more inflammation because the lower hormone levels so PCOS
actually gets a little worse in the sense of the metabolic syndrome and
that's why treating PCOS during your pre menopausal years is so important so
number one what are you gonna do and how you gonna address it first you want to
address inflammation PCOS is characterized by a high cardio reactive
protein or CRP you tend to have high small LDL particles which are more
likely to cause arteriosclerosis or heart disease or stroke and lower levels
of large protective HDL particles your hemoglobin a1c tends to be elevated
because your blood sugars tend to rise a little bit higher PCOS and age both do
this so as you get older go through menopause and if you have PCOS you're
gonna have these inflammatory markers you can deal with these inflammatory
markers by making sure that you're getting your hormones in balance and
you're balancing out that hypothalamus of yours it's controlling all of your
hormones number two you need to correct the menopausal estrogen deficiency that
is really key in trying to control some of the inflammation from PCOS PCOS is a
very androgenic condition meaning that you have more male hormone active than
female hormone and that can cause the hirsutism the hairiness that we see the
whiskers it can also cause the increased weight gain that we see around the
middle and cos both things that happen in menopause
as well because testosterone levels become unbound because of the lower
estrogen levels in menopause you're making less testosterone than you did
when you were younger but more of its unbound more of its free to cause things
like chin whiskers which can make PCOS symptoms seem like they're worse
so correcting the estrogen deficiency that may mean bioidentical hormone
replacement therapy in order to get your estrin levels up to where they need to
be in order for your brain to stay healthy your body to stay healthy and
some of that inflammation to come down now you cannot take estrogen without
progesterone so both of those bioidentical hormones need to be taken
together number three support your hypothalamus
if your hypothalamus is supported early on before you ever even get close to the
menopausal age you're going to correct your PCOS insulin inflammation and going
to correct that metabolic syndrome so menopause is going to be a breeze the
transition into menopause will be a breeze if it's too late you're already
perimenopausal with PCOS get started on balancing your hypothalamus the earlier
you start and the more committed you are to providing your hypothalamus with the
nutrients it needs the better hormonal regulation you'll have it's really
important because your hypothalamus controls so many of your endocrine
glands particularly the ones that are that are affected with PCOS your adrenal
gland when you're producing too much DHEA which is that androgenic hormones
that is contributing to the hairiness and your ovaries as well as your thyroid
metabolism and your glucose metabolism so if supporting your hypothalamus
really helps to mitigate PCOS symptoms and actually can reverse metabolic
syndrome and I've seen that throughout the PCOS age range from the early young
teenagers all the way through menopause you can balance your hypothalamus out
naturally with Genesis Golf and you can get Genesis gold right here
Jenna zhukova has helped heal so many of my PCOS patient and has helped hundreds
of my menopausal patients go through menopause with gracefully and ease the
transition thank you I'll see you in the next video

How To Work One Hour A Day And Make $225 Per Week - Duration: 6:29.
Hey guys it's John Kevitz from Acquire Liberty thanks for spending
your time to hear today today I have something to show you it's an app that
actually was brought to my attention by someone who actually follows me on
YouTube they messaged me and said John I got this app I make somewhere between
225 to 250 dollars a week on this it's a legit it's really it really works and
it's really easy so I looked into it and I'm gonna show you what I actually found
about it and whether it really works guess what it does but before we get
into that I want you to subscribe to my youtube channel click on the little Bell
notifications every time I make an upload you'll get to see it first
and remember if you no longer want to trade time for money but you all learn
how to make passive income set something up once then it runs like a machine for
you it doesn't matter what time a day week or month it is it's bringing in
money without any further ado let me show you what I have for you today it is
app coiner dot-com go to app pointer calm and that's the app that this
gentleman actually showed me in what it was all about how he's making money it's
real easy to sign up name email address get started and all you have to do is
you actually go to your google app store and I didn't find it on iOS for Apple
but I did find it on Google Play Store it might be on Apple but I couldn't find
it and there was some things that I found in here when this is really
starting off it was brand new there were some issues with it people were getting
tricked that you know the dashboard of the back office on the app was kind of
confusing and whatnot but the more recent comments on this thing are
actually really legitimate and if you want I would actually encourage you to
watch this video in full it's on the main page here it really describes you
in detail and pretty much less than a minute or so what you need to do how you
could do it how you get paid how much you get paid it's really really awesome
it's really really easy guys and this is basically what is what it is
in a nutshell getting paid to test apps with app pointer is as simple as one two
three and it is I mean it's really simple choose an app
to test in the app that you have heard the app coiner you write your review and
you get paid now is it that easy no I mean you're gonna have to spend some
time on each app to make sure you give a well thought-out well written review do
what you want to be detailed if you do you just can't write down in the review
that was a great app and be done you're not gonna get paid for that and you're
gonna see why you need to get detailed in just a second um now like I said just
name email dress you joined out yet to validate your email or just confirm who
you are they pay it through PayPal which is really easy now when you go to Google
Play list and you actually come upon here here's your app corner app install
it into your phone go to your Google Play Store and you're on your app the
app on your phone if you have an Android I don't like I said I couldn't find it
for the Apple so this may just be for Google or androids but calculate how
much you make not only blow that up for you a little bit check this out guys
this is awesome how many apps will you review each day three average amount
earned for each review fifteen bucks how many days a week will you test and
review apps five there's your weekly income monthly income yearly income
that's a nice chunk of part-time change folks it really is and that's that's
just you with this small number here let's just say you want to double that
make it six a day five days a week or you want to make it nine a day five days
a week or maybe you want to do it seven days a week that's pretty impressive
folks and that's why you want to take your time when you're doing these
reviews to be as detailed as you possibly can for these folks because
they're paying you good money you're getting paid $15 for a review you know
you're gonna be expected to be you know pretty detailed a lot of people don't
make that in an hour and I'm sure it's not going to take you an hour to write a
good review about an app you have to review check it over and look it over
and that's it I mean it's well worth your time and investment quite honestly
now the review on here I found was 3.2 and the reason why that is is what I
just explained to you in a little bit earlier in the beginning the dashboard
of the back-office for this app was really bad I mean I saw a lot of people
complaining about they didn't know where anything was and then know how to start
and where the apps right but if you look at the newer reviews then you know
majority of them like 95 percent of them say that's great they're making their
money things are phenomenal and ever since then obviously the score has gone
up I just don't think they are ready for the influx of how many people are
actually gonna want to do this app and I think it was a little bit overwhelming
for the creators of this and they actually since then have actually you
know cleaned it up basically and fixed it but what I really want you to do guys
is I want you to try this app I want you to leave your comments below like the
video but I want you leave your comments below because I want you to I want to
get your feedback in the video because Pill a lot of people I'm sure probably
and I eventually check this video out and I want to know it's worth their time
but from what I've seen and from what I've read it looks like it's a really
good app and it pays very very well all right guys listen that's all I have for
you today if you would be so kind subscribed to my youtube channel click
on that little Bell notifications every time I make it upload you'll get to see

Blake Griffin trade rumors: Pistons star denies reports; 'You have to consider the source on some of - Duration: 3:31.
The NBA trade deadline is right around the corner, which means the rumor mill is operating at full power
Sometimes that can lead to erroneous or exaggerated reports, but it's usually pretty easy to spot them, and those are often just left lingering on Twitter dot com
In rare instances, however, those obscure rumors can make their way to the player themselves
More NBA newsPelicans' Davis fined $50,000 for public trade demandFive possible Anthony Davis trades Such is the case recently with Blake Griffin, who categorically denied wanting a trade from the Pistons on Tuesday night
Following the team's loss to the Bucks, Griffin told the media that he's never requested a trade, and though he's frustrated with how the season is going, believes the team can turn things around
Pistons owner Tom Gores also said that he hasn't received any word from Griffin or his agents that the big man wants out
Via the Detroit News: "Myself or my agent or my people haven't said anything. I heard that (rumor) buzzing around a little bit, but you have to consider the source on some of those things," Griffin said
"I am happy here and, of course, I'm frustrated. You should be frustrated — if you're not frustrated, what are you doing playing basketball? "Like Tom, I still believe in this team and we can turn this around and rattle off a couple wins
" Gores, who spoke with the media at halftime, said that he hasn't gotten any indications from Griffin or his representation that he wants to be traded
He does, though, understand Griffin's mindset through their tough first half of the season
"Blake and I personally have a commitment with each other. He's supported here; I don't think he feels not supported," Gores said
"I'd be frustrated — I'd want to win. He's having the best season of his life but if you're not winning, who cares? He's a leader, so he's pushing everybody
" It's a strange thing for players to have to deny the odd Twitter rumor that catches fire a bit, but such are the days of social media
As for Griffin's frustration, it's plain to see why he's feeling that way. He's putting up 26
3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game, while shooting over 36 percent from 3-point land -- a career-high since he's started taking them regularly
Yet despite his strong play, the Pistons are stuck in ninth place in the East at 21-28, and are three games out of the playoffs, but they will have an opportunity to improve that record on Wednesday night when they face the Mavericks (7 p
m. ET -- Watch on FuboTV with NBA League Pass add-on). Perhaps someday he'll get fed up with how things are going in Detroit and request a trade a la Anthony Davis, but it doesn't appear he's reached that point just yet

Today's word is pallid, and it means pale or lifeless.
You see the word pale in the "pal" right in the word, so that can be a helpful way of
remembering it.
And this word can be taken literally or figuratively.
Literally I might say I'm feeling pallid, I'm very pale, washed out, I might be feeling
sick.
Or I might say I'm pallid, I'm lifeless, I have no energy to give.
So that's pallid.
We've got the pal or pale right in there to help us out, and it means lifeless or colorless.

Abraham Hicks 2019 No Ads 🍒 Balance desires and beliefs 🍒 San Diego 2019 - Duration: 14:33.
so we think this is a good way to begin the new year to let it really be new and
not drag so much of last year into this year so we are eager to talk with you
about you creating your own reality and we want to awaken within you your
realization of your vibrational contribution to every moment in time we
want you to find the balance between the desire that life has caused you to focus
into place and the open valve so to speak which is the conduit between you
and the energy that creates worlds it's like a pipeline where the energy that
creates worlds flows through you toward whatever it is you're asking for and the
balance of you're asking and you're allowing of that energy to flow is
really an important thing for you to consider we want to talk to you about it
in a way that might feel a little new to you because it's that balance of desire
and belief that equals not only what happens and how it happens but how it
feels while is happening in other words everything that you feel all of the
emotions that you live in other words what your life feels like to you and
what your life looks like as it unfolds is all about the factors these simple
factors of what life has caused you to ask for now and how open you are about
letting it flow so always when Esther has a new
experience we use the analogies of her life because they are so pertinent to
her and usually to you as well so we're gonna tell you a few things that are
going to awaken in you some things that you might be doing too so in Esther's
new house it's quite big far bigger than one person needs but not one bit bigger
than one person wants
so here it is and now it's the day that a photography company is coming to take
a picture of the award-winning pool it has a fire feature push a button and
fire happen Esther was very eager she had not seen the fire yet she was
standing inside she took her place inside her living room looking out
across the pool and when the fire came on it was beautiful but it made a sound
in the Attic a sort of howling sound well when something howls there's
usually something wrong so she went outside and she said might want to turn
that off I think the house is going to blow up I don't know what's happening
but maybe somebody wants to go up in the attic and see so someone went up in the
attic and a gas line was straining it was obvious well that was not pleasing
and so the contractor came a lot of people came and began speculating what
was going on but the general consensus was there was not enough gas going to
that fire feature it wanted more than the pipeline could provide so it was
asking for more so Esther is just thinking you guys are stupid you should
have thought that through there are calculations this many things needs this
much gas and those pipelines need to be this big and so forth she tried to be
nice and mostly was as they explained to her there were only a few interior walls
that would have to be removed and Esther explained to them there were
going to be no interior walls removed tear out the outside of the house but
don't mess with the inside of the house and then she decided to just cool her
Jets because she could feel that she was going off the deep end and that no good
was going to come from her involvement in this and now it's right before the
holidays nobody wants to do anything anyway
and so Esther just decides to chill and let the universe take care of it those
were her empty hollow words she was speaking today so then she's enjoying
her house everything else works as long as she doesn't turn on the fire or the
pool heater are they outside fireplace just a few things everything inside is
working so then the next day or the day after the next day she's standing in her
living room and she has really a strong impulse to step out into the front yard
now she does she hears a strange sound not so different from the sound that
she'd heard before except it's outside rather than inside and so she stood
there and realized it had something to do with a sprinkling system the
underground system she stood there long enough that that zone turned off and
when the zone turned off the sound went away listen to sound of water running it
was the sound of something straining it's the sound of something odd it was
the sound of something going wrong so she called and left a message and then
didn't worry about it it's winter nothing really needs water out there
anyway something to think about later though and then a day or two later a man
came to teach her pool school he's going to show her how all the buttons work and
he was a lovely man and she learned about her new swimming pool and as he
was getting ready to leave he said oh I noticed that you have a broken sprinkler
down on the back of the property and Esther looked down is sure enough there
was water bubbling up out of the ground so
she called the landscaper who was in the area and was there in two minutes who
called the sprinkling company who was also in the area and was there in five
minutes and so within seven or eight minutes there were people there to deal
with this broken sprinkler turned out the sprinkler wasn't broken
it's just downhill and the system had just turned off and water was just
draining out of that but now they're there and so Esther says oh I have a
question for you can you turn on whatever zone make something happen out
here in the front and so they did and that sound came and Esther said that
sound normal to you and they said no and so they were there for a while and
figured out that someone had wired two zones together so that when either zone
was calling for water both zones were calling for water and there wasn't
enough water for both zones and so the demand was greater than the supply
you're getting a theme here the demand is greater than the supply what does
that mean to you in terms of creating well it meant something to Esther I have
desires that my open valve isn't supplying which means my valve is not as
open as I think that it is I'm asking for more than I'm letting come through
I've got beliefs that are blocking my own desires that was a shocking thing
for Esther to hear she didn't want to admit it she didn't want to own that she
doesn't want to have a desire that's stronger than her ability to supply it
because she knows the supply is always there and no one is holding back from
her supply she just might have the valve pinched off with some belief that it
needs to be harder than it needs to be you see what we're getting at and so
that really is a wonderful way to understand creation because when you ask
it's given every single time the question is are you letting what's being
given in or do you have beliefs that have got it choked off in
way and so if what you're asking for isn't coming easily you've got it
chopped off because you are supposed to be able to ask and it is given and
you're supposed to be able to let it in unless you have past experiences that
you keep practicing Esther believes that construction is
wonderful but difficult Esther believes that people mean well
but don't always know what they're doing and she's got so much evidence to prove
it the story she could tell you and entertain you with oh you would be so
entertained and then you would add your stories and together you would
collectively practice the flawed premise theory that life is supposed to be hard
rather than love life is supposed to be fun Esther's been practicing justifying
the goodness that comes to her through her hard work longer than is good for
her and you are - we just wanted to begin this gathering with this powerful
and always true premise how things are playing out in your life experience is
how you know what you're doing with your requests for the supply and you're
letting the supply in you can tell by two ways how you're doing creational E
or vibrationally you can tell by the way you feel which you sort of get used to
feeling the way you feel so you don't know you're even feeling it when you
feel Valiant what's that emotion Valiant what is it
is that a positive emotion or a negative emotion really that's you against the
world really that's positive oh yeah I can wrestle you to the ground and kill
you
one day Esther decided to move the rods in her closet they were not placed the
way she'd asked them to be placed oh it was a weekend no one was around she
literally took a rod out of the place with great struggle because it was
really tight in there and just a smidge too long to go back in easily so she put
it upside down and hammered both ends of the pipe until it was just short enough
that it would sink back into place there and then she thought oh I might be
banking it into place could have just waited a nice strong man would have come
and done that for me in two days except I wanted to do it today because I wanted
him to be wrong told him it was too long all 27 of them they're almost too long
but they know better so we're sort of throwing Esther under the bus here a
little bit along with all of the rest of you because we want you and Esther to
give up your need to justify the good that comes to you through struggle and
when you give that up then you will bring less struggle forward and when you
bring less struggle forward you'll be cleaner in your now and when you're
cleaner in your now then things will unfold more easily for you and so today
let's just talk about your desire which is your demand and we mean that in the
nicest way your request from the universe for universal energies the
energy that creates worlds to flow through you toward whatever you want
that's the deal you made when you came you said I'll go life will cause me to
know what I'm asking for and when I ask source will provide everything that is
required for the accomplishment of what life has caused me to know that I want
that's how it is and then there's one more little thing in a reset step one
and that step two you ask source supplies
then there step three you got to be soft about your expectation of things working
out for you you've got to give up the struggle you've got to stop trying to
prove your worthiness you've got to stop comparing yourself to any others you've
got to let the competitive feeling go you've got to accept your blessedness
and just let proof of your blessedness flow to you and through you with ease
and flow and much of the world is not going to understand how blessed you are
because they're going to be standing in a place of not feeling quite so blessed
and people who don't feel blessed resent those who appear to be but just because
they haven't figured out how to get their valve opened doesn't mean you
should pinch yours off so that they feel better and so we've enjoyed this
interaction immensely we're eager to talk with you about
whatever it is you want to talk about we want you to know that Esther is living
happily ever after and that we appreciate all of her fine tuning and we
like how willing she is to get out there and live life and how willing she is to
ask for more energy then she can accommodate and then see the results of
that imbalance and then do something about it that's the dance that you're
all playing it's the balance between desire and belief desire and belief
desire and expectation asking for it and letting it flow what do you want to talk
about some things we're going to have a really good day

A Pre-Owned Mercedes Sprinter Becomes a Motorhome - Advanced RV - Duration: 8:27.
We're newbies, and just pretty much went the "Go for Broke" and been through the
whole menu of everything; the big homes, and we just came to the conclusion of
what we're doing just there's something missing, it just isn't working anymore.
We were looking at the next chapter in our life of how we wanted to get back
to seeing the beautiful country we live in, and now that we're both retired this
is a good way we came about doing it.
From the beginning, I knew I didn't want a big rig, and we were looking at maybe a trailer a
smaller to pull; but the more we thought about that it's like, well,
I really don't think I want to pull something. We did all the research
between the RAM Promaster and the Ford Transit and you know the Mercedes
Sprinter then thought the Mercedes were gonna be our best fit and it was gonna
be a long process. It didn't matter where you found a place to have it done it was
gonna take time. But the first time she saw Mike doing an interview on
YouTube, she had me watch it and she pretty much right from the get-go going
we're gonna do this they're gonna be the ones. To be self-contained, to be
able to park just about anywhere and just to have that flexibility to be able to
get places, I mean it was automatic. It was like okay, sure, they're for us.
One of my concerns, I thought, are they gonna be willing to go outside the box? Because what we
wanted was very unique. But to hear Mike say they do
work with the customer, and do custom, and you got an idea you
throw it out there and there's variations -
Because anything they've done my understanding is there is very few
that are alike. They're all a little bit unique and different.
Louann did the research and found in Green Bay Wisconsin that this auto house they had
just received this unit; driving into the driveway and seeing her in a parking lot
just totally I was like a kid in a candy store. Every cell in my body just
lit up going wow if we're gonna do this this is the platform we're gonna do it on.
Just bought it on the spot then went from there.
She was leased out to a power company, so she spent her first four years taking some hard knocks.
She's got some nicks and dents and stuff and she was pretty dirty when we found her
One of my first concerns was, not only the custom build, but are
they gonna work with a used vehicle?
I filled out a little form online, I mean it was less than 10 minutes.
Mike called me right back, goes "Oh yeah 2013 we've done them, no problem."
I go, "Yes!" So then my second
question was, "Well, are you okay with alternatives to materials that you're using?"
Because I had asked, "Are you non-toxic? What kind of materials are you putting in there?"
And they're doing a great job, a lot of them are, but then I kind of wanted to push the envelope a little bit
to go a little bit more. And no problem! We set up the appointment
to come, and we talked to Brittany and Mike and we got the tour,
and went through it all - Talking about budget, what we were looking at, and
we're like, "Okay, we're in." It just went very smoothly and just a wonderful experience
Right off the bat I was really amazed at the quality work
that Mary put in to doing the curtains; she made a nice little fabric Kleenex box and a nice little bag out of the excess material.
And that to me was just like, "Okay, thank you so much this is just
really really nice" And seeing materials used and not wasted,
was really important to me so that just really touched my heart.
I would say one of the first major important things for us is comfort and sleep. The second
thing was non-toxic sustainable products.
I started doing research, that's kind of my thing, and I found there was an ad
that popped up about Avocado Green Mattress and I'm going, "Well, this is
interesting. What's this?" I start looking into the company and the history. They use all
non-toxic materials. There's actually organic wool, there's a natural latex
like ARV is putting into a lot of theirs. And they also have this special
technology of an inner spring. We chose to do a pillow top which is comfort.
It's made in California. I called, we talked to them, and they're just fantastic.
And very interested in our application because this is unusual for them.
"You're building an RV? Cool! It's gonna be in a Sprinter van? Oh! Even neater!"
"When it's done you gotta send me pictures!"
Our first night experience was just awesome. It is so comfortable.
It's like a hug. It supports you.
We wanted the open feel. We don't like things boxed in. We wanted windows to be
able to enjoy nature. And with our cat Aries, he likes to be with us, he doesn't
like us to leave him alone, he doesn't want to be left with other people - we've
tried that - and so this is perfect. He's loving it. He's got a litter box,
it's a dome litter box, which Rob and the team designed, which is really cool
because it folds up so you can clean it. It's got a little door for him
to get in. It's secure so it won't go sliding. Underneath the bed there's a little area
for him to hang out. This morning he just sat there looking out
the window, we were at a nice state park and he just looking...
We've got two camping chairs and bikes. We did not want a rack on the back because
that's just advertising, and there are thefts involved that we've known
depending upon where you are. So we wanted a place. Rob came up with this
fantastic design for the pullout shelf, it holds 500 pounds. It's got a neat little
latch on it. Full extension's about four feet which still leaves us a little more
up front to store things from the inside. For us being in our mid 60's and
moving on, the convenience of just pulling it out. You'll be able to store
your things there, instead of having to reach way underneath and get things if
you them way packed in. To have it totally slide out where you can pick what you
need and then slide it back. Opening the two back doors and the things that you
can't see. Once we started exploring all those things that are
hidden, all the operating features. Your delicate stuff is encased in all
your operating systems in there, so they're well covered and yet they have
access in case something comes about where you have access panels to
get into them, that you can't see unless you you're right there on top of it.
And the different cavities that were all finished out to perfection;
You look at it and it's just amazing of that type of fit and
finish and regard for the client and what they totally do to all their units
to just make it as picture-perfect as they can - top to bottom this has just been an amazing experience.
"Infinity" kind of just encompassed why we were doing this because the possibilities are endless.
You know, kind of go where the road takes you, where your heart takes you.
Getting anywhere you want and it doesn't matter when you get there, and if you
love it you stay, if you don't you move on - there's nothing holding us back now.
Seeing what they did here and getting her cleaned up it was just meant to be for us.
Like us now being retired, "Infinity" being retired and we all enjoying our
next chapter all together. Because she's gonna be our bubble our
capsule to birth us into all these new experiences and there's so many that, the
family members we haven't met yet, as we have met here at Advanced RV, it
was just total family from the beginning. Everyone here has just been just unbelievable.
It's just awesome to talk to like-minded people and share your ideas and that's been great.
It's almost like an immediate connection. Everyone at ARV came up to us and said,
"There's a lot of things that we really had to think about", which is great.
This is how this company progresses, and they've always been in tune to that.
Mike was very adamant about that when him and Marsha got started -
Taking something and asking, "How can we do it better?" And from what we've seen in the
years they've been doing it is, they're just following that to the T just to
make everything better for past clients and clients to come and it's been wonderful.

Marketing Strategies for Restaurants (to fill the place up) - Duration: 7:28.
Times, they are changing and you cannot keep doing the same old marketing strategies that
you have done for years because they are not going to work anymore.
So, if you are running out of marketing strategies for your restaurant to fill the place up,
then look no further because in this video I am going to share five marketing strategies
for restaurants that will fill your restaurant up, but first, make sure you subscribe to
this video.
Click that bell so you get a notification every time I post a video, just like this
one, every Thursday.
The media industry is changing and so is the way that your customers are receiving information,
so you need to switch things up a little bit, and in this video, I'm going to share some
restaurant marketing strategies that me and my team have used with our restaurant clients
that have seen them having long lines, waits out the door, and even running out of food
some nights because they are so busy.
Here are five different marketing strategies for restaurants that you can start implementing
today.
Host a dinner with media influencers.
This is a new kind of marketing that a lot of restaurant owners aren't privy to yet because
they're still thinking old fashioned advertising.
People are consuming a lot of content on social media now.
They're following people who are popular in their area and have large engaged followings.
Remember I said engaged, not just large.
You have to watch out for that.
You want to make sure that people you invite in for a meal to share on their social media
are actually posting to people who care.
I'll give you an example of how I did this.
I live in South Florida.
I represent a few restaurants here in South Florida and there is a woman in South Florida
who was a contestant on The Bachelor.
She has a huge social media following, so I invited her to come into the restaurant
with a friend and we comped their entire meal.
In exchange, she just posted on her Instagram, "Hey, I'm out with my friend.
This is the restaurant."
She tagged the restaurant and they got great publicity.
All it did was cost the restaurant a comped meal.
That's an example of how you can host a dinner for a social media influencer.
This is something you can do all at once.
You can make an event out of it and have 10 people at once.
I don't like it that way because I think when you have 10 people posting about the same
restaurant at the same time, it looks a little too staged, so instead I invite the influencers
in one by one.
Whenever it's good for them - they can bring a guest or they can come with their family
and you're spreading out all of that coverage over time.
Have a social media contest.
I recently went to a restaurant and they would give you a free order of chips and salsa,
or chips and guac, whatever you prefer.
(I like the queso personally) if you would check in on social media and tag them.
That's all you needed to do.
They had a table tent at the table, so everybody who sat down saw this… and everybody likes
a free meal.
They like a free appetizer.
I mean, anything free at a restaurant is a win, right?
So, people were checking into the restaurant, they were telling all of their friends, all
of their family, and all of their followers where they were and what they were doing.
That is free publicity.
It's going to cost you some chips and queso, chips and salsa, whatever you want.
Before I go on and share the next three marketing strategies I want to know about you and your
restaurant, so let me know in the comments where your restaurant is located and what
kind of restaurant it is.
Maybe you're thinking about opening a restaurant or maybe you're in the process.
Let me know what it is and where it's located.
Land a cooking segment on local TV.
Obviously this one is going to be my favorite because this is my jam.
I book a lot of my local restaurant clients cooking segments on TV and one of the best
ways to do this is to capitalize on those awareness days.
On National Tequila Day, I had a Mexican restaurant on TV.
They were jam packed that night at the restaurant.
Taco Tuesday, another Mexican restaurant on TV, another successful turnout at the restaurant
later that night because they just got coverage in front of thousands of people in their market.
I Heart Mac & Cheese is a restaurant that I represent.
They have headquarters down here in South Florida where I'm located, but they also have
franchises nationwide and there is a day called National Mac & Cheese Day and on this day,
one location actually ran out of Mac and Cheese because they were so busy because I got them
multiple cooking segments on TV on that day.
I love this strategy.
Local cooking segments are huge, so you just need to find that timely angle to get those
segments and if you want to know more about pitching the media with that timely angle
to get those cooking segments, make sure you check out a previous video I did about earned
media examples and you can learn a little bit more about that.
I also have a free three day media class that teaches you how to pitch, to get publicity,
to turn that into profit that I will link below in the description.
Collaborate with other nearby businesses.
If you own a restaurant, people have to actually leave their house and go out to visit you,
so it's a good idea to collaborate with people who are near you, other people who are out
and about.
Because I know if I went into a salon or spa and they offered me a discount to the restaurant
next door, I'll probably go eat at the restaurant next door.
So think about collaborating with people who are near you.
Celebrate awareness days.
I touched on this in point number two.
It's a great way to land those segments on TV and there are awareness days are happening
24/7, like national chocolate chip day or national pi day.
I actually got an Italian restaurant, a cooking segment on national pi day because they make
pizza pies.
So get creative with those awareness days.
There are so many awareness days, not just for food but also for anything.
If it's national Italian day and you have an Italian restaurant, perfect.
That'll work.
National pi day.
Hello?!
That's math.
That's March 14th.
3.14.
I got an Italian restaurant coverage on national pi day.
So, get creative and use those awareness days to start up a promotion if it's not to earn
coverage on TV or in the media.
You can use it for your own promotion and promote on your own platforms - on your website
and your social media too.
So, just do a quick Google search and find those national awareness days and capitalize
on them.
I showed you a few media hits that I earned some of my restaurant clients and I want you
to get those same results too.
You don't need to spend money on advertising.
People are just not paying attention to advertising the way they used to.
You can learn how to pitch the media to get publicity and turn it into profit.
So again, head to MediaMavenAndMore.com/Publicity.
I am linking to it and the description of this video so you can get that coverage that
I earn my restaurant clients here in South Florida.
And please don't forget to subscribe to this video and like it.
Let me know you are liking what you are seeing because I am posting new videos just like
this one every Thursday, and if you haven't yet, please take this time to comment and
let me know where your restaurant is located and what kind of restaurant you have or what
kind of restaurant you are opening in the future.

How To Get Motivated To Create The Career You Want - Duration: 8:10.
If you're someone who's going to be successful at anything really, then you already know
that getting and staying motivated is critical to your success.
Today I'm talking about a foolproof way you can stop being stuck and start getting motivated
to get the career you want.
Let's get started.
Hi. I'm Mel Savage, founder of The Career Reset where my goal is to help you end needless
career suffering and create a career that makes you feel confident, powerful and excited
to get out of bed in the morning.
Check out my free tools and coaching opportunities at thecareerrerest.com.
Let's say you find yourself in a situation where you just can't bring yourself to take
action for your career or even for something else.
Okay?
I'm going to be talking about career today, but you can use these tips I'm going to share
for anything that you're trying to get motivated to do.
I actually used these same ideas when I decided to lose weight and I've already lost 25 pounds.
So if you find yourself in a situation where you don't feel motivated at work, it's likely
that you're in what I call Stage Three of Career Breakup, the drain stage.
And if you want to learn more about that, I'll put the link in the Description below.
It's tough to get out of this stage because you're in the sense of lethargy.
Okay?
I'll call that retired.
You're apathetic.
You don't care, but secretly you do care, but not enough to get you motivated to do
anything about it.
It's a scary place to be, right?
It's like watching a car crash in slow motion.
You see it happening, but you're frozen and you can't seem to do anything to stop it.
I'm going to help you out right now, and what I'd like to do, I'm going to give you the
bottom line upfront.
That's my phrase for saying that I'm going to give you the punchline right now.
The punchline is this.
Don't think about the future.
Focus on making one small move today.
That's it.
Motivation comes from doing things.
When you're feeling tired and apathetic it's sometimes really mentally hard to get that
doing going.
So you spend your time wishing for some kind of miraculous solution that's just going to
fall into your lap.
Or you spend time complaining about your situation or talking about what you wish would happen,
but you don't actually do anything about it.
When you're in this frame of mind it's really hard to make any big changes, and the idea
of the amount of work it's going to take to make any change at all seems overwhelming.
I mean, how do you go from having no LinkedIn presence to a killer LinkedIn profile with
tons of connections?
How do you go from not knowing how to build a great resume to getting your resume on the
top of the pile every time?
How do you go from dreading going to your desk every morning to actually waking up with
a smile on your face everyday?
It seems like too huge of a mountain to climb.
I get it.
I follow this great weight loss coach, and she says the same thing.
You can't go from Big Macs to broccoli overnight.
It's too hard.
Motivation does come from doing, and it doesn't have to be a big doing, just a little doing
done consistently, is more than enough.
Tip number one is make a small move every day.
It doesn't matter if you don't have your career goals sorted out.
Or maybe your goal is simply to get your career goal sorted out.
Fine.
That's brilliant, but you can start this process without even having a goal in place.
In fact, if you're really stuck, I actually recommend not setting a goal yet because once
you start getting motivated, your goals are going to shift around anyways.
So here's what I want you to do.
Make a commitment to yourself to do one small thing for your career today.
Okay?
Keep it small in the beginning, and if you've never been on LinkedIn before, maybe your
goal is just to find a YouTube video that will give you a LinkedIn 101.
Don't even have to watch it.
Just find the video.
It can be that small of a task.
Or maybe your goal today is just to write down one thing that you like about your job
or one thing that you would like in a new job.
Make the actions small, and just focus on what you're doing today.
Tip number two is set tomorrow's task after you are finished today's.
The minute you're finished today's task decide on what you want tomorrow's task to be.
What is that mini power move that's going to get you moving forward?
Whatever you decide it is the deal is you have to make a commitment to yourself that
you're going to do it.
So only make it as big as it needs to be to make you a little uncomfortable, but it also
needs to be achievable.
The minute you say, "I'm going to try and do this," it's over.
You're not going to do it.
It's like Yoda says, "There is no try."
Make it something that you feel 100% confident that you will do, so however small it needs
to be, make it that small.
Then after you complete tomorrow's task, then you can decide what the next mini power move
is going to be.
Don't worry about that right now.
Then slowly, once you get through even your first week, you're going to start feeling
a little different, and then after you get through your second week, you're going to
feel even a little bit more different.
Okay?
Small moves executed consistently.
That's what's going to help you figure out what's next.
Clarity comes from momentum.
Tip number three, the future's off limits.
I don't want you to think into the future for the event tomorrow because what lives
in the future?
Worry, overwhelm, anxiety, self doubt.
When you catch yourself thinking about all the stuff that you need to do, just stop,
refocus.
Just focus on what you need to do today, and your next mini-power move.
That's it.
No future planning.
Not until you know that you're ready to take it a bit further.
So those are the three things you need to do to move from being stuck to getting motivated
to kick your career's butt.
One, make a small move everyday.
Two, set tomorrow's task after today's, and three, the future is off limits.
Now if you're someone who's stuck, and you know that there's more going on up there in
your head that you need to get sorted out so that you can get really super confident
about your next career move, then why not check out my mini-workshop, a Career GPS.
In less time than it takes to put together a piece of IKEA furniture I will help you
understand what's keeping you stuck and what you can do about it.
Click the link in the description below to learn more.
Once again, thanks for joining me today.
It's always my privilege to have you here.
I'll see you next week, and in the meantime, keep making those small moves.
Talk to you soon.
