Hi guys!! I'm Moli
I'm gonna make video about skincare Q&A today
I always get questions about skincare from you
Via DM, email, or Instagram live
I'm always questioned about how to reduce blackheads or minimise pores
Honestly, i couldn't answer your questions at that time
Because, i'm not specialised in skin issued
I never learn about skins issue and I'm not a dermatologist
Actually, i really want to help you but i myself don't know the answer
And the causes
So i couldn't help at that time
But today, i'm collaborating with The Pond's Institute
Or make it short, TPI
I had a chance to talk about skin issues and skin cares with them last time
Because they're specialised or expert in skin issues
They understand all about the skin issues because they're the experts
I had a video call with 4 experts from TPI
We talked via video call as they're in other countries
Do you remember that i told you to comment on one of my photos
To put a question about skin cares or skin issues
I had chosen 4 questions that people ask the most and are most interesting
And i asked to the TPI experts
So i'm gonna answer the first question, which is
Should those who have oily skins apply moisturiser?
The answer is yes, right.
Because the oily skins really need a moisturiser
Because when there's a lack of moisturiser on the skins
It'll trigger a production of sebum or excess of oiliness on the skin
Which will make the skin to be more oily or worse
So the keys are look for a moisturiser that is waterbased and light
And oil-free that doesn't clog the pores
The second is question is
How to minimise the pores on the skin
This is actually one of my questions too
Because the pores on my nose area are more visible or
This is their answer
There are 3 factors that make the pores visible or larger
The first one is dead skin
The dead skin that has been mixed with the dirts
And the production of sebum on our skins
So the pores are clogged
And that makes the pores are more visible
The second factor is dry skin
Dry skin usually makes the skin to be rough
And that makes the pores to be more visible too
The third factor is saggy and aging skin
That is a skin that is loose or aging
Do you know that if we're above 25 years old
Our skins are weaker to fight against the skin enemies?
So as our skin lose the collagen or elasticity on the skin
If you don't know what are the skin enemies
I have made a video about that and you can watch it
I have put a link on the top and you can click on it
So, if our skins are weak, it'll cause more problems on the pores area
That's why our pores are more visible as when we're aging
Take babies as an example, they don't have pores
And the elderly has larger pores
So that is one of the factors
So those are the causes
Now I'm gonna tell you how to prevent the large pores
Or how to minimise the skin pores
The first thing is we have clean our faces
Which is washing the face at least twice a day
Especially when we're at outside for the whole day
Even though we don't put makeup on, we have to wash our faces
Because the dirts stick on the skin and pores
So if we don't clean our faces, definitely the skin is dirty
In the end, the pores are clogged and result in larger pores
The second thing is to apply a moisturiser that contains oil control
And vitamin B3
That's able to smoothen the skin
Reduce the production of sebum or oil on the skin as well
So those are the answers for minimising the pores
IThe third question is
Is alcohol in skin cares safe for the skin?
Because we always heard that alcohol isn't good for skins
However, about 90% of skin cares contain alcohol
This is one of those that i've been wondering
I also asked this question to them
The answer is the alcohol is safe for normal skin
Or if our skins are normal, the alcohol is safe for us
Because its functions are to kill the bacteria and minimise the pores as well
But, if your skins are sensitive
It's better to not use the skin cares that contains more of alcohol
The way to know whether it has a higher level of alcohol or not
Take your skin cares and look for the first 3 ingredients
Because most of skin cares contain more of the first 3 ingredients
If the first 3 ingredients are alcohol
That means the product contains a high level of alcohol
So it's better to not use that product if you have a sensitive skin
Because a high level of alcohol can damage the skin barrier
Or the layers of the skins
So it'll make our skin to be susceptible to bacteria or dirts
So they recommend to use Ponds moisturiser
That contains vitamin B3 plus technology to protect the layers of our skins
The forth question is to get rid of blackhead or whitehead
Or how to prevent
The first thing is wash the face twice a day
At least twice a day
Using the skin cares that are suitable for our skin types
They also recommend to use a face cleanser that contains a composition of anti acne
Because that composition can unclog the pores
They're able to cleanse the clogged pores
And prevent growth of bacteria on the skin
The second thing is to exfoliate the skin 2 to 3 times a week
Exfoliating is like using the scrub on our skins
And for scrub, try to use a softer scrub
Because we can renew the skin cells through the scrub
Which makes our skin to be smoother
Softer, smoother and healthier
The third is
It"s a need to use moisturiser even though you have an oily or combination skin
Choose a moisturiser that contains acne cares
They recommend Ponds Acne Solution Gel that contains Thymo-T
It can prevent bacteria on the skin and blackhead as well
Which trigger to pimples
It also has vitamin B3 that are able to speed up the changes of dead skin
And prevent the clogged pores
So those are the questions that i asked to them
And these are the answers
Hope that through this video, our knowledge about skin care and issues are better
So that we know how to take care of our own skins

These are based on their research for years
And i personally also learn a lot of things through the interview session
