How Often Should You Stretch? - Duration: 4:16.

Stretching is one of the essential elements of training

which is aimed at building strong and functional body.

Lack of strength limits you in the same way that lack of flexibility does.

Yet we often sacrifice stretching for other types of training that we may see as more important.

At least I know I sometimes do. Why is that?

Well, I suppose it's because session of strength training rewards us immidiately after it's finished.

You feel pumped, tired or out of breath and we get addicted to this feeling.

Stretching however often leaves you with a feeling of emptiness, like we didn't train at all.

Another reason for it may be the fact that for example holding a human flag is much more exciting

than being able to touch your toes, so the long-term goals of strength training are just more appealing.

This is why it's easier to motivate yourself to do a strength training than stretching.

Because of all of this the main question of the video 'how often should you stretch'

is not as easy to answer as one would think.

Combine motivation problems with the fact that it takes a long time to see the effects of stretching and what you get?

Failure at staying consistent and dedicated to this aspect of developing your body.

„Long-term consistency trumps short-term intensity" as Bruce Lee once said.

This is especially important in stretching because, getting very flexible is a very long-term project.

I could answer the title question like this: stretching everyday will give you the best results,

so do it 7 days a week.

But the real question is how long can you maintain such high frequency and intensity.

You may get super motivated by watching a movie

or seeing someone really flexible perform amazing feats of mobility and decide to start stretching everyday.

But after doing that for a couple of weeks and seeing very slow progress you get disheartened and quit stretching at all.

Compare that to someone who didn't go 'all in' on the first day

and made a less ambitious decision to stretch only twice a week.

Lower frequency makes this plan easier to sustain, so this person keeps on going for several months.

After that time, even if the overall number of training sessions for both cases is the same,

the latter will definitely have better results.

So, basically, what I'm saying here is that you need to consider stretching as a long term project

and create a plan that will be sustainable for you for months or even years.

If it's only once a week, fine, as long as you stay dedicated and don't miss any sessions.

Of course the sustainable consistency is different for everybody.

Some of you may have a lot of time and motivation and you may be able to do 4

or 5 sessions a week without any problems.

That's awesome, the higher frequency will definitely yield superior effects than stretching 1 or 2 times a week.

But again, that's only true if you stay consistent for long periods of time.

Personally, I found that stretching twice a week works the best for me.

If I try to stretch more frequently then I struggle a lot to complete the plan,

start missing out some sessions and get upset with myself.

To find your optimal frequency just start with stretching twice a week,

do it for a month and then if you feel you can cram more sessions into your schedule,

increase its number to 3 a week. Do that for another month, assess your plan again and so on.

This way you're going to find an ideal intensity that suits your schedule the best,

allows you to carry out the plan for months or years and reward you with great results.

Being ambitious is great, but being too ambitious can backfire on you and get you nowhere in the long run.

As always thanks to my Patreons for supporting the channel and see you soon!

Song Created by DAGames - Video Edited by LunaticChild - Captions by LunaticChild

Thirty years since all this happened

Thirty years it took to rise

Blood on the floor and in their eyes

They, took the bite and left them to die

Thirty years and now I'm here

The only one left to scream in fear

Your job means nothing, when I've got you running

away with blood in your tears

Take a look at me

can you see the death in my eyes

all the time your waiting I get..

Stronger!

with power and force

it's not as if they're paying you much

in Five Nights At Freddy's 3!

I'll hunt you down and you will see

You burn alive

When you hit night five

That's right

in Five Nights At Freddy's 3!

A horror ride built just for me

Your doom is near, your time comes now

your just too late

I'm coming for you now!

*short instrumental*

All these times yet not much time

Before I take your soul tonight

piece by piece I build your fears

What can we use to end this right

All these vents, and all these rooms

The camera keeps you from your doom

Cus nothing stops me from the past that's rotting

[UPCOMING CUS WORDS] I'm still there bitch!

Your time ends soon!

Now I'm free to take your soul and place it in mine

All the time your waiting

time grows longer, and longer inside

Before you know it, your soul is mine

in Five Nights At Freddy's 3!

I'll hunt you down and you will see

you burn alive

when you hit night five

that's right

in Five Nights At Freddy's 3!

A horror ride built just for me

your doom is near

your time comes now

your just too late

I'm coming for you now!

THIRTY USES AGO THEY USED TO BE JUST TOYS

JUST PLAYMATES

BUT THEN IT HAPPENED

THAT FIRE IN THEIR EYES BECAME

UNSTOPPABLE

INDESTRUCTABLE

THEY WERE MACHINES READY FOR THEIR FINAL ACT

BUT THIRTY YEARS HAD PASSED

THE PATRONS RENEWED THE FRANCHISE

REBUILT THE NIGHTMARE

POOR FOOLS, WHAT THE FUCK HAVE THEY DONE

WE'RE COMING FOR YOU!!!

Twelve AM - you sit and stare

One AM - I start the fair

Two AM - I zip and zoom

Three AM - I come for you!

Four AM - Sh@# just got real

Five AM - You know the deal

Let's hope you make the last hour count!

It's Time To Die

in Five Nights At Freddy's 3!

I'll hunt you down and you will see

you burn alive, when you hit night five

That's right!

in Five Nights At Freddy's 3!

A horror ride built just for me

Your doom is near your time comes now

Your just too late

I'M COMING FOR YOU NOW!

What can we use?

The power divine

Your time ends now

Burn alive..

in Night Five!

What can we use?

The power divine

Your time ends now

Burn alive..

in Night Five!

TRY NOT TO CRY REACTION CHALLENGE!! (Spoilers: I fail.) - Duration: 5:48.

You've heard of try not to laugh.

You've heard of try not to smile.

Well now it's time to try something a whole lot sadder!

It's the Try Not to Cry challenge!

So the reason why I'm doing this is because I cry at everything!

But the two things I always cry about without fail are marriage proposals and military homecoming

videos.

So what I have done is I have compiled a whole playlist of marriage proposals, military homecomings,

and then some other stuff that I know I always cry at and I'm going to try not to cry.

Because emotions are bad, kids!

Don't catch them.

And I am going to wear headphones because some of these videos are copyright hell.

I don't want to get flagged for watching other people's videos, gosh darn it!

Alright we're going shuffle play, oh boy, and then go to full screen and then I'll be

completely surprised through the whole thing.

Oh yeah.

This one I'm going to cry.

I love this video.

I love it.

It's so, it's so cute!

Aw I'm going to cry.

*laughs* This video is always so sweet!

I can't not cry.

It's just-I can't.

This is the try not to cry.

I'm not gonna cry!

Hold it together, Maddie.

The internet's watching.

THE LITTLE KID!

I'm going to cryyy!

Trying so hard not to cry right now.

This is so sweet! *laughs* [gibberish]

Ooo don't cry!

Oh there's a marching- I can't...This is the try not to cry-AHHH!

[gibberish] All of these people clearly care about her.

Ohhhh noooo!

This is not a great start.

There it is! [crying] There he is!

*smacking table in failure because I cried* [crying] Okay. *laughs* I can't believe how

hard I-I've seen this video so many times!

Oh I failed.

Oh I still have like five more videos.

Oh my make-up.

*groans* Let's move on to the next video!

Oh good.

A soldier homecoming video.

Great.

I'm going to die.

Oh it's a Christmas!

Oh no no no no no no!

It's a Chri-It's a CHRISTMAS military homecoming compliation!

Oh I'm going to die.

*gasps* With a KID! [crying] It's a kid!

Oh this is going to be miserable! (dramatic classical music)

To this song! *sobs* [gibberish with hiccup] This is the most miserable

13 minutes of my life.

AH!

Oh the mom didn't know!

AH! (sigh)

Oh I've seen this one!

No!

Noooo!

NO! [crying] *laughs* I'm just cried so hard on that one.

I'm not doing so good on this try not to cry challenge.

*noise of distress* *sigh* Fought that one off!

Oh I fought it back.

Ohhhh I'm not looking.

Alright we just have like 5 minutes left of this video.

There's no way I can cry again.

It's a little guy.

I miss- [sobs] This is the try NOT to cry chall-[sobs]

AWWWW!

No!

No no no! [sobs] Oh dad-[even more sobbing] [a distressed scream] This is it!

I'm going to die!

Okay!

I did it!

I survived!

14 minutes of military homecoming videos!

With minimal crying! *laughs* I don't think I would call it minimal, tbh.

Ah you know what?

I just took a sneak peek at the rest of my playlist and it seems to be just mostly, uh,

more military homecoming compliations so uh.

We're just gonna go ahead and say that I failed this challenge.

So thank you for watching my video!

Now what makes you cry?

Not the best ending question I've ever had, but still.

What makes you cry?

Or better yet, was it funny that I cry at everything?

Because it's miserable for me.

Please leave your comments down below and I will see you guys in the next video.

*end screen theme* Thank you for watching my video!

If you enjoyed it, feel free to subscribe for more like it.

*phone vibrates* Oh shoot that's my dad too.

Manifest Creative Episode #4 - Secret to Manifesting - Duration: 8:51.

Hey there, everyone! Welcome along to 'Manifest Creative' - The place where we

manifest your life creatively! My name is Kathryn Eggins and I'd love to

welcome you along to today's episode. Today I would love to talk about

manifesting. I've received a letter, or an email from Mandy and she asked the

question. She says, 'Hi Kathryn! I love your work. It's really inspiring

me to look at things differently.' Awesome! So, 'What I'd really love to know is the

secret to manifesting. I'm trying really hard to understand it but something's

not working. Can you help me?' Mandy. Great! Thank you, Mandy for your question

because I know so many people are asking the same question. I know that I asked

it for a long time until, 'light bulb moment!' I finally worked it out.

Now, the thing with manifesting is that we've sort of been led to believe

with 'The Secret' and all that kind of stuff, that if you

really hope for something or you think about it that you can manifest it.

The thing with 'The Secret'...Fantastic! I love that movie but it did leave a

little part of the equation out. Now, the the whole thing with manifesting is that

you need to think it and you need to feel it but you also need to

believe it and this is where it all starts to sort of fall apart because you

can think that you're believing it but you're not really. Deep down inside it's

those really deep-seated beliefs that you really need to work on. Now, a big one

that comes up for people is money...you know, I'd love to manifest a lot of money,

but if you've grown up with a scarcity mindset to actually believe that you can

manifest a whole stack of money out of nowhere, that can be hard to

believe...to actually get those really deep-seated beliefs to believe you or to

believe that it's possible. Now, I really love to look at it that your reality is

just a manifestation of your beliefs and your feelings and just everything that

you were thinking previously. That's why you've created

what you've got, so it's really good to not focus on reality...I don't believe in

focusing on reality because then you're going to create more of what you don't

want, but to actually look at it and analyze it and say, 'Okay, well why did I

manifest that? Why did that happen?'... rather than getting angry at things and

jumping up and down and as Esther Hicks says...oh, sorry...Abraham Hicks says,

'Beating that old drum,'...Let all of that go just look at it and analyze it from a

different perspective, step back and look at it and then think about what you were

thinking and feeling and what your beliefs are because a lot of the beliefs

that you have aren't really yours. They're ones that you've been programmed

with as you grew up and that's to do with what your parents

believed what other people around you believe because you grow up

in a certain community, they're the beliefs that you're going to get so it's

really up to you to stop and look at those beliefs and ask yourself, 'Is that

what you truly believe?'...and when you do that and you start creating your own

beliefs, your whole world will change because you will get more in tune with

who you really are, who your soul really is...really of getting to the core of it

and you might have completely different beliefs deep down inside than what your

parents had and that's perfectly okay, but this is where a lot of people

struggle with actually going, 'Oh, you know... my beliefs are different to theirs and I

don't want to upset them,'...so you keep your beliefs in tune with somebody else

and that's really living your life on somebody else's terms. So, it's getting to

the core of those beliefs, why you believe that and is that really your

belief and if it's not then start making changes. Now, if you want to start

creating a life of more abundance and different things like that it's

actually starting to notice the abundance that you already have and it

can be quite easy to take things for granted. When you grow up and

you've got hot water and a nice place to live and that kind

of thing, you can take that for granted but actually, be really grateful

for what you have and even if you don't have that find something...even

just being able to see or having all your fingers and toes and

that kind of thing...start to be grateful for what you do have and then start

taking little steps to change that. Now, when it comes to money...I'll

just refer to this because money is a big one for people...actually, to

go from having a scarcity mindset and then saying, 'Well, you know, I want to have

lots of money,' now...you see it with lotto winners all the time. They win all this

money and it's outside their comfort zone so they spend it all and they give

it all away and all the sudden they're back to where they were. What you

need to do is actually gradually build up...work on it every single day to

actually change your beliefs around money and that changing your

beliefs to the fact that money is abundant...it's as abundant as air...it's

really just an energy and a transfer of energy and when you can get your mind

around that and you can start to look at things differently, you can start to work

on those beliefs so that when a bill comes in...rather than jump up and down

about it, be thankful and grateful for everything that that bill has given you...

You know, rather than going, 'I don't know! I have to pay for this!' Well, your electricity bill...

did it keep the fridge running? Did it allow you to do videos with your

lights on....anything like that! Just find the gift in everything and

start to be grateful for it and to see life really through a child's eyes of

amazement and wonderment because until you start looking at things differently

things won't change. You can't keep doing the same thing over and over and over

again and expect different results. You really have to start changing those

beliefs in the way that you think and you feel about things and becoming aware

of what you're thinking and feeling and when that comes up, 'Do I really want to

think that? No! Go away, thought! I don't want to think you! I want to think this!'

and then start replacing those thoughts with what you want to think. Same with your

feelings...'Do I really want to feel this? No! Go away, feeling! I don't want to feel

like that! I want to feel like this!' and start bringing yourself back to

feeling joy. As often as possible, find joy because it is okay to feel joy,

you're entitled to feel joy. Don't feel like you can't feel joy just because

somebody else has chosen not to feel joy in their life. Your life is completely up

to you, so start looking at what you're thinking and what you're feeling and what

you beliefs are. Now, if you do want to create more abundance in your life apart

from feeling grateful and feeling that abundance that you already have, start

making little changes like...put better fuel in your car or if you

want blueberries instead of strawberries buy the blueberries. Just those

kinds of things. Just one thing at a time... just extend a little and something

that's not going to break the bank but it is pushing your boundaries and when

that becomes your normal then start moving up in some other way, but get on

to those thoughts, those feelings and definitely get on to those beliefs

because until you can actually get yourself to a point where you believe

that something is possible it's going to be very hard to manifest because

your outer world is a reflection of your inner world, so work on your inner world...

Yes, there might be a bit of confrontation there...some of the things

that you need to change might be quite confrontational...It can be quite

a shock that you need to change some things...sometimes it might be

that you need to move away from certain people...that can be quite

difficult when it really comes down to it but that's what you need to do to

create the life that you want...you don't want to go living your life on someone

else's terms, so really get to the core of who you are and how you want your

life to be. I'd love to hear comments! Feel free to leave some comments below

and if you do have a question please send it to me via my website, which is

KathrynEggins.com and I'll be more than happy to answer it in one of these

videos but till next time, thank you very much for your company and follow your

heart, follow your dreams and don't let anybody stop you...especially yourself!

I'll catch you next time. See ya! Bye!
