America can not lick its wounds or Hurricane Irma, currently, a category 5 hurricane with

wind speeds of 185 mph may hit the mainland.

Long forecast is very difficult to do but if the situation stays the same it will hit

Sunday the mainland at 8 AM EDT.

"Since Irma is a large hurricane, users are reminded to not focus on the exact forecast

track since tropical-storm and hurricane-force winds and life-threatening storm surge extend

far from the center.

Residents in the Leeward Islands have been advised to complete their preparations for

the weather will begin to deteriorate over the easternmost Leeward Islands this afternoon,"

says National Hurrican Center.

Hurricane Irma, brings up old memories, on August 11, 1980, Hurricane Allen took the

Caribbean, eastern and northern Mexico, and southern Texas.

269 total fatalities, $ 1.24 billion damage.

This was also a Category 5 hurricane.

It reached wind speeds of 190 mph.

If you decide to stay home and do not live in a mobile home, take these precaution:

Protect all windows.

Make sure your supplies kit is complete, sufficient water.

Stay inside, do not go look outside because you are in the eye of the storm because the

storm quickly increases its power from the opposite direction

avoid windows.

Turn off main power in case of flooding

Most accidents happen after the storm,

watch out for electricity cables on the ground

Call 911 only in real distress, othwise keep it clear for other people

You're Invited! Real Life Church Grand Opening! - Duration: 2:33.

HI I'm Aaron Lawless, and I am one of the Pastors here at Real Life Christian Church.

We just wanted to welcome you to our facility.

This isn't our church, this is our building.

The church is the people....but this is where we meet every Sunday morning, every Wednesday

night for youth group, every other Thursday night for our young adults group.

We'd love for you to join us, let me show you around.

We have a very active youth group.

we got about 40 students, middle school and high school, and they meet every week on Wednesday

night right here in this room.

Then down the hallway, we've got our children's ministry.

Our children's ministry is called the Real Life Ranch because we want these kids to grow

up in a relationship with Jesus.

we want them to know Him, and develop a relationship with Him and be able to share that with their

family and their friends.

so let me show you those rooms.

This is the Ranch Room and of course it is still a work in progress.

But this is where our 3rd 4th and 5th graders meet, every Sunday morning for children's

church.

Now right next door we have our nursery.

Full nursery facilities, we make sure to be careful and background our people and train

them fully.

This is where our nursery meets.

And then for our congregation, we get together every Sunday in this auditorium.

We know it's not much, but church isn't the building, it's the people.

we call ourselves Real Life Christian Church because we want to be where people are doing

real life.

but we also want to catch them up into the real life that we find in the relationship

with Jesus.

Firefighter Reserves Tell Why They Volunteer - Duration: 1:56.

When you come here you have this huge smile on your face and you get here and

you're like ready to take on the world.

My name is Corey S. Bennin and I am a reserve firefighter with San Diego

County Fire Authority. I come from a firefighting family I chose to go in the

Marine Corps and then my plan was after the Marine Corps I would get out and get

into the firefighting industry.

Every day that I come in and work a shift I

realize more and more this really is the career I want to be a part of. My name is

Siene Freeman and I'm a reserve firefighter for San Diego County Fire Authority.

Firefighting has always been something I've wanted to do. As a female

I didn't think it would be an opportunity for me.

You definitely have to have the mindset of wanting to be a part of something

greater than yourself, part of a team that challenges you.

Kind of like an athletic team.

Coming out here you need to be one that can adapt, learn

and be willing to grow.

What the County program does is we provide the training

but more importantly we provide the experience. It's ultimately some of

our neighboring cities are able to hire out of our reserve program.

You get that hands-on experience. You get to work with the career firefighters. You actually get

to go on the calls and experience what being a firefighter is all about.

I just love coming out here. The crew,

the professionalism, the senior leadership that to me I know that they're gonna

have my back when I go into a fire and I'm gonna have their back.
