Made a Tablet Wall Mount into a Desktop Stand - Duration: 6:39.

How we took a wall-mounted tablet stand and turned it into a desktop stand with

a simple little trip to the kitchen appliance store, Hi guys, I'm Sheryl Loch

with Ginger Roots Media and if you're like me sometimes you go to say Fry's or

you're shopping online and you want to get a stand for your tablet, seems like

most of them are for the wall. At least the more expensive ones, the easy ones to

find are for the wall. Well that's what we found, was a good one at Fry's that I

really liked most of the features, but it was to be mounted on the wall. Now I

wanted to be able to take my tablet outside.

I wanted this stand to use on a desktop or set it anywhere, so the wall stand was

not gonna work. We found a similar one for desktops, but A. it was twice as

expensive and B. the bottom of the stand did not look very secure. It just

didn't seem to be wide enough. Now we did look at some other stands, but the prices

went up the convenience of them, the size was not what I wanted, so I was kind of

bummed the wall-mounted stand looked great, if I could just set

it on my desktop or set it outside when I went outside. So thanks to my handy

dandy own construction guy Brad, he looks at it he says not a problem we can do

this. So here is, let me show you what we got. I couldn't find it we got it at

Fry's I can't find it on their site again. But we got a stand, a mount actually.

And I liked it because it turns easily. I can also take it and adjust it. It has

all types of adjustments, so I can even move it back and forth.

So all of these things were just what I wanted, except I didn't want to have to

mount it on my wall. So as you can see here is the wall mount. There's no

way I could just set that on desktop and the desktop stands they had we're just

slightly bigger and I didn't feel secure with them considering I've got dogs, we've

got wind and I'm not always the most graceful person. You never know where you

might set it down and last thing I wanted was to knock it over and brake my

tablet. So Brad ran down to the local hardware store. I'm not gonna say

which one, because I don't remember. He went into the kitchen appliance center,

now you may or may not know what this is, but it goes on your stovetop .Yeah you

know where your burners are, you can plug in for an electric stove right here. And

he took and bolted on my wall mounted stand onto this. Now we're gonna add some

cushioning here, so that this isn't slick, so that it doesn't scratch anything when

we take it somewhere., if I have to set it on something nice. But that is how we

took our wall mounted stand and turned it into a handy-dandy desktop. The thing

is I thought when he said "I can do that, no problem." I was afraid, oh great I'm

gonna have it super glued onto a brick or a big chunk of wood. I had all kinds of

things going through my head, but by using this, it's super lightweight so

it's not adding to the weight. I'm not carrying around something heavy. If I

want throw it in the car because we're going somewhere and I think I may need

it, it's easy to do. So it's broad enough it's not gonna hump over easily and it

works really great. I have had this and tried it in every position and now the

base is big enough around that it doesn't just fall.

Which was you know tablets aren't cheap, I don't want to have to break mine.

So I thought I'd give you this little hint. Our stand was around $17 at

Fry's. the piece that he attached to it was like five dollars from the appliance

store. So for under $25 I got what I wanted. So when you're out shopping and

looking at things, don't just look at what they have. If you find something you

like, but it doesn't quite work, think of other ways you can adjust it yourself.

Get a little creative. Now anybody that says, oh my god I'd never be seen with a

piece of a stove attached to my tablet stand.

Guess what? I don't care. I look at it this way

it serves the purpose I want it to. It works the way I want it to. Now Brad is

talking about paint in this black, so it doesn't look quite as funky. Personally I

don't care, I don't care if it's silver, I don't care if it's black, I don't care if

people say what the hell is that. That's all good with me. But we do need

to put some cushions on here to make it a little easier to sit down and not

worry about scratches or sliding. So that's my idea for you today and

honestly you can be creative with things don't just go to the store and say they

don't have what I want or I don't want to spend that much. Think of ways you can

fix them yourself. You guys would never know whenever I'm doing Instagram live

or any of those things and I'm using my tablet, you would have no idea that I've

got a piece of the stovetop attached to my stand if it weren't for this video. So

let us know in the comments, how many times do you have to take what you can

find and revamp it a little? Thanks for watching be sure to give us a like

and subscribe to our Channel.

FANCL White Force Review: Why You Should Consider Using! - Duration: 4:39.

Hi everybody, it's Wonect!

Today we'll going to introduce the FANCL White Force,

and give you my review after one month of using the FANCL White Force.

Even though FANCL White Force is generally considered a whitening supplement,

if we had to be more specific in categorising,

it can be considered a drinkable sunscreen supplement.W

This means that whether it's preventing sun burns,

or skin spots that are caused by UV rays,

this supplement has us covered.

We're going to disgress the topic from FANCL a little

to explain the role of whitening products.

Whitening products have generally two different functions.

One, to suppress melanin production by tackling its roots,

thereby prevent any future skin spots or discolouration.

The other role is to improve any current skin spots.

The whitening products that are sold

have ingredients that improve or prevent skin spots.

So it's important to check how each whitening product works.

So what kind of ingredients does FANCL White Force have?

Looking at the ingredients within FANCL White Force,

we see that it has ingredients to both prevent and improve skin spots.

And yet on the homepage of FANCL,

it writes that it's main purpose is to care for UV ray damage

and prevent from skin spots from forming.

From this, we can understand White Force as a UV ray and skin spot deterrent.

So, after trying this for one month, what did I notice?

Firstly, even I went without sunscreen protection,

there was no sunburns.

For me...

I don't really like the sunscreen cream that I have been using.

Even though I didn't really use the sunscreen cream this summer,

my skin almost didn't darken at all.

The amount we need to apply sunscreen each time is substantial,

Sunscreen leftovers after applying,

sunscreen needs to be reapplied...

there are some who think sunscreen as troublesome.

So this item is good for anyone who thinks like that.

Also, other than this group of people,

for anyone who has sensitive skin, or has skin trouble,

this is recommended for you if you worry about the burden on skin.

Secondly, I felt that the skin spots around the eye area had stopped advancing.

I'm currently in my mid-twenties.

While I'm not worried about big or visible skin spots,

I can see there are some skin spots slowly and gradually rising to the skin surface,

and I've been concerned about it becoming more obvious from day to day.

It has stopped developing after I have taken FANCL White Force.

Skin spots don't only exist on the skin surface,

more of them are often hidden within the skin.

To prevent these skin spots that are ready to surface onto the skin,

we need to have proper skin spot care.

The Wonect channel has other videos about whitening supplements.

Be sure to check those out!

We'll see you again in next week's video!

Pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children are unable to take FANCL White Force.

DIY: Crochet your own Night Fury Dragon Part 1 - the Head - Duration: 16:30.

Hello and welcome to Fluffy Unicorn's Crochet Corner!

Today, I'll show you how to crochet a night fury dragon

I will show it with white yarn so you may see it better, but of course you should use black if it should be a night fury

Otherwise it would rather become a morning flash.

We start with a chain

with contains of 6 chain stitches

So you start with a loop and crochet 6 chain stitches

In the next round you skip the first chain stitch and start with the second from hook

Do 2 single crochets into it in order to increase by one

Go on with 3 single crochets

Do 4 single crochets into the last chain stitch

This will make you change to the other side of your chain

So just do 4 single crochets into the same chain stitch

Then go on on the other side with doing 3 single crochets

I like to take the yarn end with me, as you see here

Doing so I do not need to sew it up anymore

I do this with all three single crochets

And into the last stitch you have to do 2 single crochets or a simple increase.

In the next round you start with 2 increases

So you do 2 single crochets into the first stitch and another 2 into the second stitch

Go on with 3 single crochets

And again 2 increases

So you do 2 single crochets each into the next 2 stitches

And then you do single crochet until the end of this round

Which means you do another 7 single crochets

Start the next round with one sigle crochet

then follows an increase

then do one single crochet

and another increase

Do 4 single crochets across

then an increase,

one single crochet,

one increase,

and then single crochets to the end of the round

In this round this means doing another 7 single crochets

Start the next round with two single crochets,

do one increase

then again two single crochets,

one increase

four single crochets across

then do an increase,

two single crochets,

one increase,

and 8 single crochets to end the round

And by now you should have 26 stitches in your round

In the next round do 3 single crochets,

one increase,

three single crochets,

one increase,

five single crochets across,

one increase,

three single crochets,

one increase,

and 8 single crochets to the end of this round

You should end up with 30 single crochets

The next round, which is round 7 by the way,

starts with 4 single crochets,

now we change the pattern a little bit,

by doing 3 single crochets into the 5th stitch of this round,

(this will form the cheek of your dragon)

then go on with 4 single crochets,

one increase,

5 single crochets across,

one increase,

4 single crochets,

then do 3 single crochets into the next stitch as you did on the other side,

(This will give you the second cheek)

and end this round with 9 single crochets

You should end up with 36 single crochets

Start the next round with 5 single crochets,

do three single crochets into the next stitch,

6 single crochets,

one increase,

5 single crochets,

one increase,

6 single crochets,

three single crochets into the next stitch,

(I'll just sharpen the picture a bit before doing it)

ok, so here I go with the three single crochets into the next stitch,

and then you end this round with 10 single crochets

You end up with 42 single crochets after this round.

In the next three rounds we stop increasing at the side, but continue to do so at the top of the head.

So you start the round with 15 single crochets,

I'll show them a bit faster, here, because those are just single crochets, but if you like to see this tutorial more slowly just switch to beginner-version.

As you stopped increasing at the side, your work will start pulling to the back slowly.

And cheeks will become visible.

Ok, so when you're done with your 15 single crochets,

do one increase,

5 single crochets,

one increase,

and end this round with another 20 single crochets.

Come out with 44 stitches.

In the next round you start with 16 single crochets,

As we do increases at the top of the head only, it will develop a nice forehead, now.

Do one increase into the 17th stitch,

Go on with 5 single crochets,

do one increase,

and end this round with another 21 single crochets.

Start the next round with 17 single crochets,

do one increase,

5 single crochets,

one increase,

and then end this round with another 22 single crochets.

After this round you will have 48 stitches in your round.

It follows 9 rounds of single crochets only.

So you do 9 times 48 single crochets.

Afterwards the head will look like this and we'll start with regular decreases.

This will close the head, slowly.

In this first decreasing round we do [6 single crochets, decrease] 6 times.

So you start with 6 single crochets,

and then do one decrease.

I like to use the invisible decrease technique.

This means you go into the front loop of the first stitch

then into the front loop of the second stitch

then you pull your yarn end through these two front loops,

so you will have two loops on your hook

through which you pull your yarn to finish your decrease.

Then you go on with 6 single crochets,

and another (invisible) decrease

Of course you can also use any other decrease-technique.

Ok, so you do this 6 times altogether, which means you have to do another 4 times [6 sc, decrease]

Come out with 42 stitches

In the next round you do [5 single crochets, decrease]

do this 6 times altogether

and come out with 36 stitches.

In the next round do [4 single crochets, decrease]

6 times altogether

Come out with 30 stitches.

In the next round do [3 single crochets, decrease] 6 times

Come out with 24 stitches

This is a good point to stop and start stuffing

you should stuff quite tightly

and form the head a bit while doing it.

In the next round do [2 single crochets, decrease] 6 times

Come out with 18 stitches

In the next round do [single crochet, decrease] 6 times

And after this round you should stuff a bit more

Come out with 12 stitches.

In the next round do 6 decreases

so the head will be nearly closed after this round

Finally I quickly show you how to sew up the end

Pull your yarn end through the front loops of the first 5 stitches

pull it tight

so this will close the little hole in the middle

Then tie your yarn end to the front loop of the last stitch

and hide the tail somewhere inside the head

Make sure that the knot will also be pulled inside the head

and then cut your yarn end

Ready you are with the first part of your night fury amigurumi

or morning light if you also work with white yarn

Thank you for watching!

In the next part of this series, I'll show you how to go on with ears and horns of your dragon

Looking forward to see you here, again!
