recently Ive decided that I want to start a consistent series on my channel
so why not to talk about 5 most important cosplay things?
I will try to talk about eveyrthing, tools, wig stuff, make up, how to survive a con
anything i think of
so lets go! Today i will tell you about 5
most usefull and needed cosplay tools
for 9 years of making costumes ive been working with various tools
from the most basic as screwdriver and scizzors, to things such as welding torch
but there is one thing that i do not imagine making costumes without
holy grail for cosplayers who finish their costumes night before the con
we dont know what sleep is, yep, i am guilty of that too
one and only lads and gents
HOT GLUE GUUUN
hot glue is one of the most usefull
glues to make costumes
it will glue 99% of things together
you can use it to wigs, armors, even can glue fabrics
but i beg you, dont glue fake leather with it, it always ends up miserably destroyed
hot glue dosent stick to that
i think its one of the most needed tool
when it comes to making cosplay costumes
its super easy to use, but be carefull with your fingers
glue is very hot so its easy to get burned
just be a bit carefull with it
wait untill the glue cools down
the glue sticks are quite cheap, you can buy a bulk bag of it and it will be very cheap
guns like it cost diffrently
it can be one dollar in chineese strore , like this small one
it was one dollar
up to 30 dollars for a really good one
mine, which i use every day, brand Pattex
was about 15 dollars
its workig great, second gun from this brand, Ive killed the first one
but with my intesivity of usage, its still good! It worked for 2 years
I suggest paying a bit more and getting good tool
of course you can buy the cheaper one
but for example, the same as this one im holding
it EXPLODED when i plugged it to the power
it was scary
i thought i will burn hotel room
but it wasnt that bad, i survived! hotel as well
SO pay more, get better quality
15 dollars is fine
Next tool, without which i cannot imagine my life
especially now in the thermoplastic times, will be Heat Gun!
when im trying to explain what tool is that, i just say " buffed hair dryer"
this tool produces stream of very hot air
which can heat up some plastics, thermoplastics,
eva foam, worbla
deco art, whatever we want
i often use it to heat up pcv pipes
so i can shape it
or making glue dry faster
but i keep it far from glue! just so its hot around it!
it works, wood glue dries fast ;D
you can use it for everything that requires hot air for project
you can also heat up a cold hamburger from mac donalds
when your roommate forgot to pay gas bills
and you have no gas, no oven, and you are hungry
yep, ive did that
true story bro, first year of college
dont be that student, PAY YOUR BILLS
i think that good heat gun will cost about 10 - 20 dollars
mine was 15 usd, got it in Castorama
some of you may ask, do i really need this tool?
i have a strong hair dryer
and i can use gas burner to bend pipes
of course, you can!
but with this tool is faster, more efficient, heat is spreaded more evenly
you wont burn it in one place
and with using hairdryer, no matter how strong, you will soend ages trying to heat it up
ive tried!
the same as with hot glue, be carefull with the hot parts
gloves would be wise to put on
to work with plastics or hot worbla
the tip of the tool is hot

This tool comes from this situation when you think that you dont really need it
but when you get it, your life changes and you dont know how youve worked without it!
im talking about dremel
i cannot live without, at workshop or at home
those multitools have a lot of tips to use
we get sanding tips, tips to cut, screw, polish, anything
there is lots of things you can do with dremel
i use it the most to sand down eva foam, worbla,resin cut plastic
they are too hard to cut with knife or saw sometimes
but lets not talk too much about it now beacuse ive made a whole video about my dremel before
i talk all about it there, i will leave link to it in the cards, up there
i also recommend getting belt sanders which are great with flat surfaces
dremels are super usefull but with sanding every time your hand trips you can leave an ugly mark on flat surface
be carefull with fingers, i also recommend getting more expensive dremel
i know that the cheaper ones are tempting
but the cheap dremel tools usually have very weak part for holding the tips
ive seen how the cutting tips fly from cheap dremel in the room
if you get that in the face... omg i dont want to see it
you will need some safety googles, you can even use sunglasses but its always better to get safe, checked googles from diy store
im using dremel 3000
its great, totally fine for my cosplay needs
it costed in a set , about 90 usd
it depends how many tips you get in the set
next tool that im using in more projects than Ive imagined when i got it is burning tool
it has this metal stick which gets really hot
before heating it up, you can change the tips in it
and the tips make it so special!
there are plenty of tips you can use to diffrent parts of the costume and techniques
besides burning the patters in leather, wood, foam, worbla etc
i also like to use it to make holes in hard plastic ( to not make noise in the night)
i also cut plexi glass with it
ovearall when its night and i dont want to make noise
the cutting tip is great for it
you can also burn the edges of poliester materials which will melt and not loose threads anymore
you can also use it as emergency soldiering tool but of course just getting the real one will be smarter
its only about 8 dollars
and the amount of times it saved my butt in cosplay making, limitless!
the same as with hot glue and heat gun, be carefull with the metal parts!
dont even try to touch it when its working, even if its 15 min after youve unplugged it, be carefull!
this metal holds heat very long
you will get burned badly
time for the last tool
its a must have in costume making
no matter if you ar emaking huge ball gown or armor set
every cosplayer should have one, and its sewing machine!
here! its my baby
i cannot imagine making any costume without it
of course you can sew by hand but its usually a horror - messier and more uneven than with sewing machine
with clothing costumes we just sew the clothes, with armors you can sew some belts or cape
my machine is very basic from Silvercrest
its enough for me, it has some diffrent stiching opton
its good with most of the materials, cannot really fake leather but i cannot expect too much from it untill i get a better one
its quite cheap, mine was about 90 usd
they are quite often in plish supermarkets so its wise to get it when its on sale!
its not only good for cosplay but also in your home life!

the one when you usually keep threads
this one
i always thought its for sewing accessories
but i saw that peple keep candies in it while sewing
gotta try omg ;D every day you learn
and thats all folks! My 5 most usefull tools in cosplay
if youa re a begginer, this tools should be all enough for you
most of them you can get in DIY shops, on Amazon or Ebay
its easy to buy them!

[YourNetworkTools] Create Multiplayer Game 02: Avatars - Duration: 3:30.
In this tutorial we will start coding and creating our game avatars.
We will create an empty GameObject called "GameController" and we will attach an script
with the same name ("Game/Scripts").
We will convert the class into a singleton.
And we will add listeners to listen for the network events.
These events are the ones that the YourNetworkTools plugin provides in order to work
We will start listening for the event:
EVENT_SYSTEM_INITIALITZATION_LOCAL_COMPLETED
This event tells us when the initialization of the connection has been completed.
We will use that to create our own game player.
We create a public member call "PlayerPrefab" with the reference to the player prefab.
Back to the editor, we create the prefab of the player
Now, since this game object is going to be a network object, we should add it to YourNetworkTools->"Game
Objects".
The system will add a big part of the necessary behavior for it to work in the network.
Next, we are going to create the script "GamePlayer".
In order to work with our network system this script should implement the interface "IGameNetworkActor".
We proceed to code as it is shown the functions of the interface.
Let's stop for a second in this part.
It's important to define this event name since we will use it to know when an instance of
this GameObject has been created anywhere in the the network.
Now let's go back to "GameController" and we will create a network instance of this
object when the system has been initialized.
We will also listen for the event reported by the GamePlayer when it has been created
in order to know that a new game player has been created anywhere in the network.
Before running the scene, let's put a nice plane that we will use as a floor with a texture
that allow us see clearly that we are moving.
Next, let's move all the changes to the other project using our batch process.
If we run both instances of Unity we will see how the two instances of the player have
been created and that our GameController has listen properly to the creation events.

All through this week, I will be uploading Nigerian Fufu Recipes.
I have a long list of requests for Nigerian fufu recipes.
So I have decided to upload each and every one of them, all through this week.
Fufu Fufu Fufu all week long.

Fufu is a swallow meal.
It's dough made from different starchy foods.
So when the dough is done, you make a lump of the dough,
dip it in a Nigerian soup for fufu meals.
Put it in your mouth and swallow.
Those who don't know how to swallow, chew it.
But MBA ooo!
Nigerian soups for fufu meals are not what the rest of the world call soups.
They are more like stews but we call them soups
so that we can differentiate them from the ones we use
to eat other staple food like boiled white rice,
boiled yam, boiled potatoes.
We call those ones stews and call the ones that we use for fufu soups.
If that makes sense.
I already have a video for how to make pounded yam using mortar and pestle
and manpower and woman power and sweat.

Today, we will be making pounded yam using a stand mixer
so that if you have a stand mixer,
you can make it work harder for you by using it for pounded yam.
Let's go!
You only need white puna yam and water.
If you do not have white puna yam, use sweet potatoes.
Actually Americans call sweet potatoes yams.
Sweet potatoes are wayyy sweeter than puna yam.
It's actually a weird sweet taste for a fufu meal
but they are the closest alternative in terms of the starch content.
For the best texture of pounded yam, use the middle part of the yam.
The head of the yam is too fibrous and has a bitter taste.
The tail of the yam does not have enough starch and is not as sweet.
Also do not use newly harvested yam that is Ji Ofuu to prepare pounded yam.
Ji Ofuu does not have enough starch to give you the supple, elastic pounded yam.
Slice up the yam like this.
Peel the yam and cut into medium pieces.
Put in a pot.
Pour water to cover it and start cooking on medium heat.
When it boils, watch the clock and cook it for another 18 to 20 minutes.
Please use this time as a guide only because it depends on
how far gone from the harvesting date your yam is.
If that makes sense.
When it's ready, you should be able to easily drive a knife into the yam.
The surrounding water will also look cloudy and slightly soupy.
Turn off the heat.
Separate the yams from the water.
Don't throw the water because we'll need it later.
Use the beater attachment to beat the hell out of the yams.
I start with a lower speed, run it for about 30 seconds.
Then increase to high speed for another 20 seconds.
Scrape it down.
Add a little bit of the soupy water then
whip it again till everything is well combined and supple.
If you like your pounded yam very very soft,
keep adding the soupy water bit by bit till you get
the consistency you like for your pounded yam.
But be careful, if it's too soft it will lose its elasticity.
Pounded yam once ready, should be served immediately
because it loses its elasticity over time.

[YourNetworkTools] Create Multiplayer Game 04: Position Initialitzation - Duration: 2:11.
In this tutorial, we will see how to initialize the our game avatar with initial data, in
our case we will initialize our player with an initial position.
We will retrieve this initial position from spawn objects that we will use only for that.
So, we create several spawn game objects where we want to place our game avatars after creation.
In our game script GameController we will create a public property "GameObject PositionsSpawn"
where we will link with that game objects.
Now, we can use this prefabs to initialize the position of the players.
First, we will create the initial data package in an string and we will send it as a parameter
in the game avatar creation:
Second, we go to our script GamePlayer and in the initialize function we retrieve that
initial data package and use it to initialize our game avatar.
Third, we should report and event that all the instances of our avatar in the network
will automatically listen that will initialize that other instances with the right information.
Let's propagate the changes to the other Unity instances.
Now if we run both Unity instances we will see how the players are now initialized in
the position we want.

In this final tutorial we will create enemies in random positions of the scene that will
go straight to its closest player.
If the enemy collides with the player it will apply a damage to it.
To easy the process, we will just clone our existing game player and we will attach it
the new script "GameEnemy".
Also, for the "GameEnemy" script we can save time by copy&paste from "GamePlayer".
Now let's focus on the code related only to the enemy:
First, in the initialization process we will set a target that the enemy should follow.
We will do that by simply getting the closest player to the enemy position.
Second, in the Update function we will update the position of the enemy to go after its
target:
To end the coding in this script, we will add the network event that will be triggered
when the enemy collides with the player
Now, let's go back to our script CameraController, we will code here, in the "OnCollisionEnter"
functionality, that when an enemy collides with the local player events to apply damage
to the player avatar alongside an event to destroy the collided enemy will be dispatched
through the network.
Finally, the last script we are going to modify will be "GameController".
Here we will just create an enemy after a defined timeout in a random position.
We can see the necessary code to do that in the Udpate function
We propagate the changes thanks to our batch process and we can proceed to run the final
test where we will face our recently created kamizake enemies.

In this tutorial we will code the behavior of the shoots.
First, we will add to the game object avatar a textfield where we will display the life
value of the avatar.
Second, in the script we will add the property "life" and we will get the reference of the
textfield in the Start function.
Third, back to our singleton CameraController, we will add a function that will listen for
our own action button and we will create an event here to create a new shoot.
Fourth, back to our GameController script, we will listen for the previous dispatched
network event
Fifth, we will add in our script GameController a public property "ShootPrefab" that will
link to our shoot prefab.
Now, back in the editor, we create the game object GameShoot and we attach a script with
the same name.
Next, we are going to create a typical script for a shoot, so we fast-forward.
Let's stop and take a deeper look in the collisions.
Here we can see that only the shoots that are running in the machine owner of the shoot
are the ones that are going to apply real damage.
Meanwhile in the other client's machines the shoots are just going to be destroyed.
To apply a damage to the an specific avatar we should provide the unique identification
of the avatar plus data related to the operation.
In our case is a number that will decrease the life of the player.
Finally, let's go back to our GamePlayer script where we will listen for the previously dispatched
network event and we will apply the damage on the player if it applies to him:

I went to the restaurant and I was pressured by my own family and others that we were with
and I gave in and cheated.
Not only did I give in and did I cheat but I felt so guilty and upset with myself that
pretty much for the next several days I continued to indulge.
What can I do?
I asked her how she had gotten overweight and she said: Isn't it obvious when I am under
pressure I get upset and I use food because at least for just a moment I feel good and
it distracts me from how it is that I feel.
And why do you want to lose weight I asked.
She said there were really two reasons.
One I'm a young woman I'm only in my late 30's and I can't do the stairs, by the time
I get up the stairs I'm out of breath and I have to stand there and the other is spring
is here, the summer is coming, I went out because there is an affair that we have to
go to, I couldn't fit into a dress and I'm unhappy with myself and I don't know what

me.

me so much that I'm going to stop from happening what always happens in the past and no matter
how many candies I need or substitute for candies as long as they're pretty much calorie
free every single time I do it I will be making love to myself and as I get used to being
loved by myself I'm going to more start to respect and expect the same from you.

So, this last video, it's not a tutorial, but just for any programmer to know that they
can organize the game the way they want it, becasue it won't matter which way are you
organizing the game that the previous code will always work.
If we want to create a local party game, we just select Local Game, then create party
or join party to create a local party using UNET protocol.
Using this way you don't need a server, a room, nothing external, no complex configuration,
or expensive one, you just create a local party and enjoy with your friends like good
old times.
If you want to create a remote connection, it's a little bit more complex, you are going
to need a server, but forget about complex stuff.
