Oldfield Club 2018 Update - Duration: 3:31.

Hi, John Weber here with Charter One Realty in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, Hilton

Head, Bluffton, Okatie.

I just wanted to do a quick update.

You can see it's obviously spring time in the Lowcountry.

I mean, it looks like Augusta National around here, just gorgeous.

Spring and fall in the Lowcountry, it's what it's all about.

I wanted to do a quick update on Oldfield Club.

Great equestrian center, when you buy real estate you are a member of the club.

Annual dues, they are figuring out those annual dues right now for 2018, they're going to

be somewhere between 7500 and 8500, $8600 a year.

You are required to pay those dues.

If you want to be a full golfing member, you would pay an additional, I believe it's $15,000,

and an additional $6,000 in dues, or you can pay as you play, either way.

Your amenities are equestrian center, Greg Norman championship golf course, which is

great, clubhouse, fitness area, spa, the River Club is right on the river for dining.

I mean, it's great.

Right next door to the River Club is the Outfitters operation.

You can go out crabbing, kayaking, boating, they have an onsite naturalist, I mean it's

really, really nice.

Off the beaten path a little bit, it's not on 278 that leads into Hilton Head, it's actually

right off State Road 170, so it's not very far from Hilton Head at all.

Great location as things are working out here with the development of this entire area.

I know for a fact the members absolutely love it in there, and it's beautiful.

It was developed by Crescent Communities, they are also developing Palmetto Bluff, which

is another real special club.

As a matter of a fact, you can check out my video on Palmetto Bluff.

At the end of this video, there's a link below that you can get the bonus sheet that I've

put together where the private communities at a glance report, there's 18 different communities,

their initiation fees, their annual fees, and their house pricing.

You can take a look at that.

What else can I tell you?

I think that's it for now.

I just wanted to update the Oldfield Club, and put it on YouTube.

If you like this video, literally like it, and make a comment down below, I would appreciate

it.

I have a lot more videos on different communities.

Pricing, forgot about pricing, the home prices are, I'd say, 400,000, 450, up to probably

two million.

But you can buy a beautiful home with a Lowcountry Sweeping Oaks in Oldfield, and live happily

ever after.

Come see me, John Weber, Lowcountry.

I will see you in the Lowcountry.

Change the way you learn languages - Duration: 1:17.

I've seen a ton of students and people who have been learning the language (English) for 10

or 15 years but they still use the same methods that they were using when they

were in elementary school or in high school and they still wondering why they

still don't know how to speak in English you have been using this methods for 10 or

15 years, don't you think that it's time to just change the way you are learning

the language? Unfortunately we are still using traditional methods in our schools

and when people get out of school they don't even know how to express

themselves in their own language how can you expect that they can use English or

any other language properly. So if you still don't know how to speak English

just stop using the same method that you were using when you were a kid and focus

on using other methods there are tons of them out there, pick one that you enjoy I

think that people have to take their education in their own hands and stop

relying so much in traditional schools and methods. Happy learning and I'll see

you in the next video. Bye. Take care

The history of good vs evil | S01E04 | Who Are You Talking To? - Duration: 4:05.

How do we really know what is good, or what is right? What is evil, or what is

wrong? Time for us to travel back in time and somewhat learn from the past.

Hello again, lovely earthlings! Welcome to another episode of "Who Are You Talking To" - a show

where we review the world, current events, and all kinds of subjects- in more

ways than one! We must critically think about any topic

that comes our way. We also have to review it with a global set of standards

before forming an opinion or judgment.

Good and evil are concepts.

They, actually, were also seen as ancient forces.. that have existed for centuries.

From the ancient worlds of Persia.. to today's modern ideas.. both concepts have

remained consistent and have been seen as an abstraction. I would still say

because we know these concepts from the past we need to pay respect to certain

religions because they have maintained that "goodness vs evil" morality

factor, for the benefit of humanity.

Mr Pessimist: Not really!

The belief systems helped create

war, famine, sexism, racism, hunger, terrorism, and the plethora of

molestation cases. I mean that's even applicable now.

Mr. Optimist: Belief systems are not just religions

.. and even if they are they were and probably still are a necessity

of our time and communities. Every time-period of human civilization has

presented a new "branch of thought".. which- if you look at current trends can be

inspired by technological and scientific advances.

On another note though..

These doctrines (or ideological or religious systems) don't actually promote any form

of a direct violence. These (violence) "acts" are usually prescribed as an 'effect'..

if caused by an external party or by ourselves within ourselves.

While we're describing this, guys...

can we talk about how these belief systems in the past have..

Mr P: So, according to religions and philosophy..

evil was basically based on ignorance, ignorance of truth.

And, evil behavior

itself was an aberration, one that defied any understanding. The path of evil was

known as one of confusion, and excessive desire which is related to greed.

In some religions- good and evil are one of the same, but evil is usually seen as the

absence of good! Many wars have been fought in the name of evil as a cause to

"manifest dominance" and destroy competing forces.

Kind of like the "freedom" wars of today..

.. or "conquer" (conquest) wars of yesterday.

Mr O: So, according to religions and philosophy..

.. goodness is intrinsic to human nature and is ultimately based on the natural

love, bonding, affection that people grow to feel in other people. In some

religions though good and evil are one in the same, BUT good is usually seen as

the ultimate dominant force.

Many wars have (also) been fought in the name of good but

that is only to destroy evil- to attain salvation, or even sometimes to defend

yourselves from evil.

(Next Episode) -> Now that we visited the past and we come back to the present again.

How Long Does It Take For SEO to Work? - Duration: 4:24.

in this video I'm gonna show you how long it takes for a CEO to work. My name

is Eric Siu I'm going to show you how to grow your freakin business. So here we go

I'm not even just gonna talk about SEO I'm gonna talk about my podcast first

what I thought we talked about SEO we are talk about SEO so let's look at my

screen really quick this is a podcast I have with my co-host Neil Patel and well

we have eight point six million downloads so far we've been doing it for

a little under two years or so and oh yeah you're seeing a lot of downloads

here right word last month January 2018 five hundred eighty-nine thousand we're

probably on track for about six hundred forty thousand in a thirty one day

window which is not bad 640 you look at 589 that difference it's pretty good

growth rate right so you're looking at six oh it's easy well Neil has a brand

he's got a big email list of like well Eric that's easy for you to say you get

good traffic you have a you have an email us whatever when I look at the

this podcast and I look at the other podcasts that I have growth everywhere

which gets about eighty thousand downloads a month the issue is it took

me well after entire year of effort I was

getting nine downloads day and then in the second year I was getting thirty

downloads a day I was spending six hours a week on it for the first two years six

hours per week while I was trying to you know run the business so that's one

thing and it's the same thing with SEO too if I look at SEO if I look at R if I

look at single grain comm which is one of the websites I have I can see in the

last 16 months period but and by the way this is Google search console right here

the new one has 16 months of data plus okay so I'm looking at 16 16 months of

data here you can see that the graph is going up into the right we're looking at

impressions we're looking at clicks you can see it's slowly going up into the

right not only that if you use a tool like H rest you can look at my website

you can see that the keywords are increasing the top three keywords are

increasing everything is just going up into the right it just takes a lot of

effort it takes a long time to keep the flywheel going if I didn't do the first

podcast if I didn't slog it out for the first two years there's no way I would

have the second podcast that's it and that's doing really well and I love both

podcasts now it's the same thing with this YouTube channel too you're watching

this YouTube channel right now and as of this video we're at about 6,200 6,300

subscribers but I started with about 1500 or 2000 or so in the summer time

and we built out our video team Noah's sitting over here helping out it just

takes time there's no shortcuts with SEO people need to be patient and most of

the time we're near report other stakeholders let's say you've

raised venture funding your board is gonna want you to move really quickly

they're going to spend on on paid advertising the more you can be in

control of what you're running you're not reporting to a board to you know a

bunch of co-founders that are not patient the more patient you can be the

better that's easier said than done but I think if you can be have a really

sense of a big sense of urgency in the short term so you're just trying to get

a lot of things done but you're okay with things taking time at the end of

the day it's gonna pan out what you have to do as well is if I'm gonna give you

some practical advice is you also got a look at your on-page SEO you got to

think about things such as a skyscraper technique which is from backlinko so

skyscraper technique is the idea that you're creating a 10 20 30 X piece of

content that's better than the top 10 results for whatever specific keyword

you're trying to rank for so the more epic you can have it the better

that doesn't just mean more text it means well-designed and also that any

any other element that's going to give you a leg up so you got to think about

that first and the other thing with proper on-page SEO too is whatever kind

of content you're creating make sure you have good internal linking structure

going on - on the website a lot of people forget about site architecture

also keeping in mind - that there's two things that matter most when it comes to

Google its content and its links don't forget about links if you've really

created a good piece of content the idea is if you make a skyscraper piece of

content you it's really easy for you to request to other people and say hey what

do you think about this so obviously you're not just gonna go requested them

all the time hey come link to my stuff come link to my stuff ideally if you can

build a relationship even better I was at a conference a couple weeks ago I sat

down and then someone from intercom sat down her name's her name her name is

Sarah and she's on the content team I'm just like that we started to build up a

collaboration she actually follows some of the stuff that we do and now we're

building in collaboration and then you know easily that's a link from intercom

for example and we're gonna be doing other stuff with them to the flywheel

starts to build we all start from somewhere and I'm telling you like even

if you're starting from the very beginning right now I've only had some

of these these sites for less than a couple of years it just takes time you

have to be patient the thing is most people aren't willing to wait and most

people aren't willing to ask for help you gotta be willing to do that - so if

you enjoyed this video just go ahead and hit subscribe and we'll see you the next

one to help you grow

10 NATURAL WAYS TO DETOX YOUR BODY WITHOUT DIETING - Duration: 7:17.

Joy Home Remedies Brings You:

10 Natural Ways to Detox Your Body - Without Dieting!

We put a lot of things into our bodies that aren't necessarily the best for us.

A bit of indulgence is part of life, but every now and then it's nice to give your body

a break from toxins and flush out your system.

Detoxification is the process of removing impurities from the body, to help it function

better, and in turn, feel better.

There are several signs that it's time to detox.

If you're feeling sluggish, foggy headed, or tired much of the time, or if you're

seeing flare-ups with skin problems, or experiencing unusual headaches or stomach problems, it

may be a sign that your body needs a restart.

The following detox tips will flush your system, from the inside out!

Number 1 - Eliminate Toxins

The very things that you turn to for bad habits or use to help relax you, can be contributing

to your inability to cleanse.

These substances or bad habits translate directly or indirectly to toxins in the body.

The end result is that they keep you from being healthy and may actually make you sick.

The first step of any cleanse is to eliminate the toxins that cause trouble.

Avoid cigarettes, saturated fats and refined sugars, as well as coffee and alcohol - all

of which put a strain on your system.

Number 2 - Drink More Water

Staying hydrated is essential to any successful detox program, so take your water intake to

an entirely new level.

Drink a full glass of water with each meal, as well as throughout the day.

Drinking lots of water helps clear up your skin and contributes to properly functioning

digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems.

Number 3 - Eat Clean

I'm not going to tell you to go on a fad diet, but I will suggest eating a clean diet.

During your detoxification process, you need a diet that is filled with whole foods.

Focus on hearty greens, lean meats, and lots of fiber, and avoid all processed foods.

If you're unsure of where to start, watch our How To Eat Healthy video – linked below.

Number 4 - De-stress

When you're stressed out, your body releases hormones like adrenaline and cortisol.

As these hormones build up over time, they act as toxins in the body and contribute to

an overall "blah" feeling.

Help rid your body of these stressors by changing the way you respond to stress.

When you feel your blood pressure rising, take three big, deep breaths.

Remember that you have no control over other people's actions, only how you respond to

them.

Choose to respond calmly.

Number 5 - Avoid Environmental Toxins

Environmental toxins can range from smog and diminished air quality to second hand smoke.

Any chemical type of fumes such as those that may come from a factory are never good for

you.

If something doesn't smell or feel right, then chances are that it's doing absolutely

no good to your system either.

If you have the ability to avoid these substances, particularly something like second hand smoke,

then it's important to do so.

This will ensure that you breathe in good clean air, and get rid of the toxins that

have built up over time.

Number 6 - Get a Massage

A gentle massage is not only relaxing, it's a manual way of releasing the toxins that

have built up deep within your muscle tissue.

It's also great for improving your circulation.

You can visit a professional masseuse, or give yourself a massage, with your hands,

a tennis ball, or a foam roller.

Be sure to drink a lot of water before and after your massage to flush out the toxins

that have been newly released into the blood stream.

Number 7 - Practice Yoga

When it comes to detoxifying your body, yoga, is really one of the best forms of exercise

around.

Yoga focuses on the connection between the mind and body, helping you to detach from

the stressors of day-to-day life and focus on your breathing and movement.

Practicing yoga is a stimulating and cleansing exercise for your muscles and your mind.

Plus, if you break a sweat, you'll be eliminating toxins through your skin as well.

Number 8 - Hit the Sauna

Another way to help your body sweat out impurities is to hit the sauna.

Sit in the sauna until you're nice and sweaty, but not so long that you feel uncomfortable.

Anywhere from five to 20 minutes will do the trick.

Again, drink plenty of water to replace all the fluids you're sweating out.

Number 9 - Try Acupuncture

If you've never tried acupuncture before, now is the perfect time.

Acupuncture uses tiny needles to release pressure points in the body that may be blocked with

toxins.

According to holistic medicine, these blockages can contribute to all sorts of health problems,

from headaches to arthritis.

Acupuncture enthusiasts swear by it, and some people report seeing results almost immediately.

Number 10 - Get More Sleep

Lack of sleep wears your body down, and leads to increased stress, poor mental performance

and weight gain.

Aim for a minimum of eight hours of sleep every night during your detox.

Your body needs time to re-charge and absorb all the clean nutrients you've been giving

it.

As you can see, some of the methods can actually be enjoyable and can also contribute to better

mental health, as well as physical.

Figure out what works best for you, then try out new methods for naturally cleansing a

little bit at a time.

Learning to truly take care of yourself in this way is a great step towards better health.

You will notice that the symptoms that may plague you on a daily basis tend to go away

almost instantly, and the end result is a better version of yourself.

Happy cleansing and to better health overall!

You Have To See The Incredible Easter Decorations At This Texas Mansion | Southern Living - Duration: 3:53.

(bright acoustic music)

The reason I go all out is 'cause I love it.

I love the joy that it brings to my family.

Their eyes get big and a big smile comes on their face.

And I just love to see other people happy.

And so it makes me happy.

I decided to create a bunny garden look for Easter.

This was inspired by the fact that I grew up on a farm.

And so, I got a mural.

And then, I just found a brown, simple rug.

Then, I took my bunny collection

and created my little bunny workers.

I love everything about decorating.

I never do the same thing twice.

As I'm doing my decorations, I usually,

honestly, have my kids in mind,

but I just love that I can share

what I love to do with my family and with my friends.

I have five kids, and so

I have to be realistic about

you know, what we do, but I kept it

fairly inexpensive because I do want my kids

to feel like they can eat in the dining room.

I decided I wanted it to be more of a cohesive look in here.

So, I found bunnies that all looked alike.

My favorite decoration is this

little bunny with the balloon.

I just, I don't know why, but every time I

look at this bunny, I can't help but smile.

It just makes me so, so happy,

and I know I've got hundreds and hundreds

of bunnies in the house, but for

some reason, this one speaks to me.

This is the family room.

And this is just a very happy, fun room.

I think it is so much fun to tell a story with your decor.

Items that I collect over the years

are always a lot more meaningful.

Buy things you love, that actually speak to you,

because you're more likely to use 'em

and keep 'em over the years.

When I'm getting ready to buy something,

I say, "Okay, do I love this?"

I would love to have this as a collection.

I have repeated the carrot theme just in case

my kids didn't get the idea that they're

supposed to be eating more vegetables.

The thing that inspired the whole look was this glass.

I saw that and thought, "Oh my gosh,

"that is the cutest thing I've ever seen."

I love these little leafs.

I have used these all over,

in so many of my different decor.

Love the bunny plates, I have them in all different colors.

Of course, the cabbages.

There's a lot.

I mean, I think I've probably got

at least 3,000 eggs.

But if you want to count it all,

well, we probably shouldn't count it all,

'cause it'd probably be embarrassing,

but (laughs) there's a lot.

And obviously, the focal point of the kitchen

is this DIY vase that I made,

which I'm actually kind of proud of.

It's two vases, so it's a larger vase

and then a smaller vase inside.

And so, obviously, your water and the flowers

go into the smaller vase, but there's about

an inch difference between the smaller

and the larger, and that's where we're

able to pop in all of our candy.

You don't have to spend a ton of money to decorate.

You can buy little plastic eggs,

and do the cutest things with plastic eggs,

with jelly beans, things that are inexpensive.

Everything that I love for Easter

that I didn't find a place for somewhere else,

and so, it becomes the eyeliner.

I affectionately call this area the eyeliner.

Different plates, and it just kind of

becomes a little bit of a free for all.

But because I keep it all just as an eyeliner,

I think it all flows and works together.

I truly believe in

making our homes a place

where there's joy, and where people want to be.

Think about the people that you love most,

and make it an environment for them,

that they want to be at home.

(soft contemporary music)
