What Tony Cascarino has said about one Arsenal star after Man Utd loss will SHOCK you - Duration: 2:26.Aubameyang has scored 17 goals this season for Arsenal (Image: GETTY ) And his haul of 17 in all competitions is seven more than any of his Arsenal team-mates
But that hasn't stopped Sky Sports pundit Tony Cascarino of accusing Arsenal of 'carrying' him in their side
That's despite Aubameyang netting Arsenal's only goal in the 3-1 FA Cup defeat to Manchester United on Friday night
"If Unai Emery is trying to reinvent Arsenal he will not be able to do so while carrying any players, but that is exactly what is happening with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at times," Cascarino told The Times
"The Gabon forward is lightning quick and has been prolific since joining the club last January, but he needs to be able to give his team more than that
"Aubameyang can be anonymous for long periods. Last night he scored Arsenal's first goal just before halftime but had contributed absolutely nothing in the first 40 minutes
"Alexandre Lacazette is similar. Both players will end up with very good scoring records for Arsenal but are too often on the fringes of games
" While Cascarino also singled out Petr Cech for 'being nowhere near the brilliant goalkeeper that he used to be'
Aubameyang has been brilliant for Arsenal this season (Image: GETTY )Aubameyang joined from Borussia Dortmund last January (Image: GETTY ) The former Chelsea stopper announced earlier this month that he will retire at the end of the season
"I have to say that I'm very glad that Petr Cech is retiring at the end of this season," he added
"When Jesse Lingard scored Manchester United's second goal last night he passed the ball casually into the net without much pace, and you would have expected the goalkeeper to get much closer to the ball, if not actually save the shot
"Agility is the most important attribute for a goalkeeper but Cech is lacking in that respect
"Furthermore the modern trend for playing the ball out from the back does not suit him at all
At least he has recognised his limitations and will bow out soon."

Cairo, Egypt [FIRST IMPRESSIONS] - Duration: 10:56.first impressions are interesting because when you've been somewhere
for a long time you sometimes forget
what your first impressions of that place were
I am really happy to be bringing you this video from the River Nile I can't
believe I'm even saying that this is the River Nile guys right behind me that is
the river we all learned about it at school, it's the longest river in the world
and on this evening this fine evening it looks totally stunning it looks gorgeous
that's a word I overuse but this truly is stunning
I'm in a nice part of Cairo, as in, quite a
like a posh part I guess you could say and my first impressions of Cairo are
that there aren't many posh parts you know and that's not necessarily a bad
thing but it's a crazy city absolutely crazy - I've been to 40 countries I've
been to 100 cities but this is the craziest place I've ever been
there's no doubt about it I've been to Indian cities I've seen how lots of
Indians do their stuff like driving and stuff like that but god this is this is
mental this is mental
the trip from the airport to the hotel - I arrived from Doha
so I flew via Kuwait with Kuwait airways the trip from the airport to the hotel that
I'm staying at which is down by the pyramids, I never have been so kind of
shocked in a car - I thought we were going to take off and not in a good way
so I guess that's the first thing I want to talk about just the driving it's like
it's absolutely crazy but you get scenes like this - you get to stand on the longest
river in the world you get to see the pyramids you get to see
some of them the world's oldest history you get to meet some of the friendliest
people I think that exist - and blimey well what else can I say this is first
impressions let's not get too far into it but I really hope you enjoy this
video honestly guys if you're Egyptian thank you for welcoming me to so much to
your city to your country
okay so here we go my first impressions of Cairo from the perspective of a 29
year old British tourists now this video is not a review of Cairo it's not an
in-depth analysis of the city - I'm not a tour guide I'm not a professional travel
agent all I'm doing here is just sharing with you with you guys well with YouTube
with the world my first impressions of Cairo so I'm going to talk about the
good things the bad things you know what you might expect to see and just share
some experiences so... I mean first of all Cairo is... there's never going to be a
shortage of something to do in Cairo it's it's a city which is so much bigger
than I ever thought it was. Google population says 20 million but I
wouldn't be surprised if it was actually 30 if you include all the kind of the
conurbations, the surrounding suburbs you know all the cities
surrounding Cairo as well it's it's just magnificently big = it's so so big and when
you're driving you can drive from one end of Cairo to the other which I
kind of did when I first arrived and we'll come to that in a minute but if
you drive from the airport which from memory is kind of in the Northeast and
then the pyramids where I was staying was down in the southwest so you drive right
across the city. Now I mean I guess that takes me onto driving... the roads here are
like not particularly well maintained compared to what you may or may not
be used to so you've got lots of things in the road you've got to keep your eyes
open and you can't just kind of switch on the autopilot like if you've got a
Tesla or something you know you really need to be like so focused to be
dodging cars, other people, boulders in the road, like lumps of rock, huge
potholes, donkeys, cows, and maybe camels too, other crashes which may or may not
have happened so this was my journey to the airport so just to go back to the
beginning when I arrived. That first clip you saw at the beginning that was a clip
from my my my journey my taxi ride and we're
driving at 140kph in the night, it's 3 am and like we are coming within inches of
lumps of rock other cars we passed two or three, what looked like pretty serious
crashes on route to my hotel which you know; and by pretty serious I mean like
two or three cars involved one of the cars was upside down, glass all over the
road you know not good really not good the driver would
say a prayer and then keep driving along and yeah like it was just kind of a
shocking thing to to see after being in Qatar where I thought that you know
relatively the traffic you you think the traffic in places like Qatar, Doha in
Kuwait, UAE is pretty crazy and there are lots of RTAs in places
like Oman... it's a pretty big deal to be fair and they're working hard
on addressing it but Cairo man oh my goodness! And that's it that's all I'm
gonna say on the driving issue. The pyramids are absolutely gorgeous I had
an amazing view of the pyramids from my hotel just beautiful beautiful I mean
you really have to go and see it I mean these pictures can give you some
idea but that's a definite highlight and you know you have to see these things
you have to see them to believe them... it's one of those things which you want
to see, you want to experience and I'm not gonna talk too much about the pyramids
because I'm very happy that I've got several other videos where I'll talk
about the pyramids in a lot more depth so we can come back to that. The River
Nile is beautiful that's where I just shot that scene earlier and when you get
there yeah it's it's worth visiting it's a beautiful place you know longest river
in the world you learn about it when you're at school you talk about it it's
like it's in every what - pub quiz or whatever and to be there to see it with
the Egyptian people and in that kind of hustle and bustle of the city is is
really really cool it's a good thing to do
people here are incredibly friendly which I always took as a good thing like
you can strike up a conversation with anyone I've actually made a whole new
vlog about just like meeting random people at the pyramids which are mostly
like lots of school trips there so loads of school kids and then their teachers
and then like families loads of Chinese the Chinese are everywhere and there're
loads of tourists but the Egyptian people when they're talking to you they
are really really friendly so that's another good thing
There's always things going on you're never going to run out of things to do the food is good
it's affordable there's so many museums if you're into history, museums - yeah
you're never going to be short of things to see and do in Cairo there's nothing
really that you can't do in Cairo that's the kind of impression I get here
a little bit about my hotel then, my hotel is right by the pyramids and it was £132
for four nights that's about *$170 dollars or something
like that so yeah pretty low range I guess although Egypt's a cheap country
generally... the room wasn't what I ordered it said it came with a load of stuff
which it didn't but anyway won't go too it into that unless you're interested I
can write a comment about it. It did the job, I was attempted to be sold some like
pyramid tours when I first arrived at about 3 a.m. I think that's just part of
the culture of Egypt - people are very friendly, they want to make your journey
good and if they can sell you something then great - rewind to the airport, coming
from the airport I... It took me a good two or three hours to get out of the airport
the airport is pretty chaotic just so that if you are approaching here you
might be taken by surprise by that, so the airport's a bit chaotic you might go
through four or five, not particularly secure 'security points' security checks
and I think I landed at about 1 a.m. and it was 3 a.m. before I was out of the
airport so I got to my hotel pretty late
one other thing with regards to my hotel
on the second day the cleaning lady came in she brought me some water and emptied
my bins and things which was very nice and then she found a £20 note I had
some emergency currency that I could exchange if I needed it
some British money, some American money and also... I mean I've been traveling so
long I have, like my wallet is full of like a lot of different currencies
anyway - this cleaning lady came him she picked up the £20 note and she was
looking at it at taking pictures of it and then she said can I have it
she just said 'can I have it?' she just asked to take it very confident lady so
quite an interesting cultural difference I can't imagine that happening well
anywhere not in England not in Doha, not in the Gulf countries which I have to say
I'm more familiar with but yeah I thought that was kind of funny you know
we had a laugh we spoke some Arabic together and she was nice enough but
yeah very kind of... 'ballsy' I think, yeah
