Waching daily Jan 27 2019

well we're having a whistle-stop tour of the North East Coast I think that's

right see if we can find some light .It is incredibly windy and I was gonna do walk

ins and walk outs and I was gonna spin you around

I can't it's too windy, where I'm perched as has been the case all weekend

is a bit precarious , it's very slippery and it's very steep and the tides coming .

now I've come here for one specific shot and then I'm gonna walk to the

other side of the bay , just over there there's an image that I want from over

there , the sky is everything I could hope for and we have , look at that , a mini

Durdle door and I apologize if I'm shouting I've no idea how loud the waves

are being picked up on here ......oh absolutely amazing

and I'm on the meter at the car park so ( laughs) I'm gonna get shooting and I'll catch up

with you in a bit ...... talk about a kid in the sweet shop oh( laughs )

sorry that might have been a bit loud you might have guessed I'm a little bit

giddy , I'm also extremely tired all this sea air & walking around and driving

around going oh my god , oh my God , look at that ....Seaton was just ah, you could spend

the day there and yeah I know I say that about everything but as I say it's far

too windy to get the gimbal out to show you the locale ,so there we have the

miniature Durdle door and then basically we've just got ocean , there's a wind farm

you might make out just out there which would also make a nice subject and then

you've got the village of , or the town of Cullercoates with its twin harbor

walls of which we're going to go and shoot one next

and the composition is ( strange noise ) kind of yeah that's straight

pretty much that just a bit more of the rock in obviously I'm not stood in it

yeah I know I'm getting too giddy for my own good, once I've taken this image I'll

spin the camera round and let you have a look , but yeah it's looking phenomenal .

and the first shot was 79 seconds I did one at 69 I just want this one to cook a

little bit longer ,so let me spin around and I can show you what we've got . And

that could be Dorset I'm hoping that focusing ,how's that ? absolutely stunning

in an ideal world you would be out on this pier shooting, but I'm thinking that's

maybe not the best idea I've possibly ever ( laughs ) , and I know I'm doing definitely dodgy

things today but I'm not being that stupid ! I think a receding tide is

possibly the best way.... look at those waves! and we were stood , oh, get me finger outta my glove ,

over there just over there before so I'm trying to

figure out a composition that will work whilst retaining relative safety, I mean

look at the waves down here

I know if I get close enough to them they'll come up and it'll bite me on the

backside here we go, no , yeah it's getting ever so slightly too close for

comfort . I've got the 17-55 lens & that's the lens I'm going to shoot with , look at that .....

I gonna put you down wanna to do this because I think it could get very messy

well I just managed to get completely drenched , I've just changed the

composition slightly, there's two posts yeah where are we there with a bit of a

curve so I've got the pier coming in bottom left-hand side of the image and

then I'm just waiting for the waves to roll over I' on f-14 and three seconds

woah let's go for that one

and

you might be able to make that out, but it is now five to four and my parking

ticket runs out at four o'clock. I could quite happily stay here for

another five hours because this is just unreal .....so I'm going to sign off from

here one , last shot .....& that's it

oh I'm shattered ...( laughs ) But I tell you what, what an absolutely epic

four days , I really couldn't have asked for a better final day even though I

should have been home Oh about two hours ago , that was just phenomenal

thank you Northumberland you have been amazing

Check out this galbi bone! This spicy stew will make you HUNGRY! 통갈비짬뽕 - Duration: 4:58.

hey there, and welcome back to 'tastes seoul good'.

so it is a cold winter's day, and i am looking for a soup to warm me up.

i know just the place.

we are getting ready to check out the "tong galbi jjampong".

so let's go check it out.

i have traveled down to the city of Yongin, which is just south of Seoul.

this place is famous for serving a galbi jjampong.

so it is a spicy soup with a big piece of meat in it.

this place has been on TV, and apparently this soup is amazing.

so we've ordered it up, as well as some other dishes we're going to check out.

alright, so all of the side dishes here are self-serve.

i'm going to get some of this yummy looking kimchi.

maybe some of this radish kimchi here.

so one of the other cool things you can do here is fry your own egg! it's so funny.

my soup has just arrived.

look at this big, massive feast, you guys! so this is called 'jjampong'.

so it's a spicy stew, and it's got different types of seafood in it.

it looks like there's some mussels and some little baby octopus and some squid and different

things.

as well as some vegetables.

then there is this big, massive, caveman style piece of meat.

oh yeah! so this is what makes it so famous.

so this is probably the rib bone. and there is just all kinds of meat on it.

it looks like we have a few of them.

oh yeah, look at that, you guys.

so i can't wait any longer, i gotta try it out!

mmmm! oh yeah. the meat is just so tender.

it's picked up some of that spice from the red pepper jjampong soup, which i need to

try.

i'm going to try just the soup by itself.

mmmmm.... it's super refreshing.

it's a little spicy.

it's super hearty. it's really, really good.

it's got that seafood flavor in it.

just tastes really nice. at the bottom of the jjampong is all kinds of noodles.

so i'm going to try those as well.

look at those noodles! mmmm.... it's so good.

as far as i know, jjampong is a dish inspired by Chinese food.

this might be a chinese style restaurant.

but i've never had jjampong with meat before.

that's really special and unique to this restaurant.

i'm now going to try a piece of the kimchi.

it looks like it is homemade kimchi.

it looks really fresh.

i also went with some of these.

these are fried mandu, or fried dumplings.

oh yeah! they have been fried, so the outside is really crispy.

inside is pork and glass noodles and onion and other goodies. this is a really filling

meal.

let's try some of that big meat bone.

i'm going to eat it like a caveman.

mmm... oh, it's so tender.

it's coming right off the bone.

it's a little messy, but really really tasty.

yum! alright, so that soup was so good! i definitely recommend coming to Yongin to check

this place out.

alright, so this was just a quick video to show you an interesting place you might want

to explore when visiting Korea.

if you liked this video, and want to see more content like it, then go ahead and click that

subscribe button and go ahead and give me a big thumbs up on this video.

alright, until next time - have a great day, and i'll see you later!

Seth Rollins, Joshy G and the WWE CrossFit revolution - Duration: 15:34.

Jan 5, 2018Kari WilliamsFacebookTwitterFacebook MessengerPinterestEmailprint Before Seth Rollins was christened "CrossFit Jesus," the man who now can snatch more than 250 pounds didn't even know how to squat properly

"I understood the mechanics -- You put a bar on your back, and you drop your butt to the ground and bend your knees, but I didn't know how to squat," Rollins said

"I didn't understand external rotation versus internal rotation."CrossFit terms to know Boxes - CrossFit lingo for gym

CrossFit - A blend of Olympic weightlifting, interval training, powerlifting, gymnastics, calisthenics and other methods of exercising

Snatch - A weightlifting exercise where the bar is pulled from the floor to a locked-arms position in one continuous motion

Squat - The motion of keeping the upper body rigid and in a straight line while the knees bend and the rest of the body drops towards the ground

Rollins, one of the first wrestlers to talk about CrossFit on social media, said learning the fitness regimen started by Greg Glassman back in 2000 has helped him become a "more productive" professional wrestler

In the process, it helped ignite a movement in the fitness of WWE superstars. But it began out of a desire to find a training regimen that fit his body type and in-ring style

"I'm 6-foot-1, 205 pounds. I have to move around in the ring a lot. I can't be like a Braun Strowman or an Andre the Giant," Rollins said

"They kind of get to just stand there and throw bodies around. I'm the body that gets thrown around

" The man who would come to be known as the King Slayer started his CrossFit journey in 2010 at a friend's suggestion after noticing it "mimicked" how he felt during a match

"I figured it would behoove me to maybe put some of this into my training," Rollins said

"And the more and more I got into it, the more and more I started to fall in love with the training paradigm

" A post shared by Seth Rollins (@wwerollins) on Nov 6, 2017 at 5:12am PST  To Josh Gallegos, a long-time wrestling fan and a CrossFit Level 2-certified trainer who writes Rollins' programming, professional wrestlers are "more or less doing CrossFit in the ring

" For that reason, he's happy to see stars such as Rollins and, more recently, Bayley, integrate CrossFit into their training

As someone who became engrossed in the CrossFit community in 2010 while training for triathlons, Gallegos himself "immediately fell in love with the methodology of CrossFit

" "Seeing so many people support one another and encourage you to be the best version of yourself while learning movements and working out in class was something I was drawn to," Gallegos said

Bayley, who started CrossFit in February 2017, said the atmosphere at boxes (gyms) all around the country feels like family, which is especially helpful when WWE is on the road

"They just open their arms, and we have access to their whole gym," Bayley said. "Sometimes it's there just for us

So I just kind of fell in love with the community." 'Everything's scalable'Editor's PicksSeth Rollins making the most of every unique opportunity Seth Rollins' recovery from his knee injury put his character development in an interesting place, resulting in a storyline that has led to an intriguing partnership for SummerSlam

With largest audience tuned in, Wrestle Kingdom 12 delivers The biggest show of the year for NJPW delivered with a number of excellent bouts and an absolute physical war between Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega

2 Related Rollins and Gallegos first connected through social media, after a CrossFit games athlete reached out on Gallegos' behalf

"[Josh] was training at a gym in LA called DogTown CrossFit, where a lot of prominent female CrossFitters were at, including a girl by the name of Lindsey Valenzuela," Rollins said

"And he had Lindsey tweet me on Twitter and basically open the gym up for me and whoever was going to be with me if we were training in LA before a show one day

" What Gallegos called a "shot in the dark" turned into Rollins dropping in, returning the next day with a couple of other wrestlers, and before long a friendship formed

The next time Rollins was in town, he asked Gallegos about writing programming for him

Previously, Rollins either did the workouts that his local box created, or group classes at boxes he dropped into while traveling

But he wanted more. Because Gallegos was aware of the rigors Rollins went through inside of the ring, he was able to provide a personalized plan to handle Rollins' unique demands

"He programmed a little bit of that in there, a little bit of a bodybuilding aspect as well to keep me sustaining a look that is what works for our product," Rollins said

The team that wods together stays together! Thank you @joshyg27 for putting us through our paces before #wwehawaii @charlottewwe A post shared by Rebecca Quin (@beckylynchwwe) on Sep 13, 2017 at 4:00pm PDT  In a way, Gallegos said, he thinks CrossFit is the "end all-be all for wrestlers who want to train smarter," but the coach and the programming matters just as much as the athlete's drive

All of Gallegos's WWE clients were "amazing athletes" before they came to him, but he said he doesn't deviate too far from how he normally programs for others since "everything's scalable

" Gallegos began writing programming for athletes and personal clients shortly after earning his CrossFit Level 1 Certification, getting advice from other athletes and coaches

To Bayley, Gallegos' approach is "so different" from what she'd done in the past at the WWE Performance Center

She utilized programming from strength and conditioning coach Sean Hayes, which focused more on powerlifting

After making the move from NXT to Monday Night Raw she wanted something different, and there was an immediate connection with Gallegos

"When I met Josh, honestly, we were texting and we had a bond over Macho Man because he's both of our favorites," Bayley said

Her introductory workout of power cleans, jump rope and burpees, with one minute at each station for five rounds, was one she thought she could handle

"Throwing in the burpees and a movement like power cleans that I've never done before, that requires your whole body," Bayley said

"It was so hard, but [Josh] was there yelling at me, so I had to impress him." Working with Gallegos is the first time Bayley has had a personal trainer, and that's helped her to push herself harder than ever

"I really noticed it going into WrestleMania [33]," Bayley said. "I saw my body transform right away and just feel differently in the ring

I felt stronger and felt more confident and definitely more durable."It's a rare day when you don't see at least a few photos of WWE superstars before, during or after a CrossFit workout on social media, like this shot of Bayley, Gallegos and Cesaro

Instagram/@itsmebayley Overcoming injuries While he was the reigning WWE world heavyweight champion in 2015, Rollins tore the ACL, MCL and medial meniscus in his right knee during a match against Kane in Ireland

This injury required surgery and an expected six to nine months off the road. For two months after surgery, Rollins had to keep his leg straight when he wasn't doing rehab, which limited his movements in CrossFit

A modified workout could consist of as many rounds as possible in a given time frame of five strict pullups, five pushups and five ring rows

Gallegos said that type of work caused "muscle fatigue way before condition fatigue

" Rollins also did a mixture of upper-body work, cardio and rowing, which he was able to do by putting his foot on a skateboard

But the hardest "mental hurdle" for Rollins was dialing down the intensity. "If I did too much, even just from an upper body standpoint, my body would have to focus on repairing the tissue in my chest or my shoulders or my lats from doing a workout, and it would take a little bit of the emphasis off of repairing my knee," said Rollins, who returned to the ring in five-and-a-half months

Gallegos' understanding of Rollins' training and mindset helped Rollins "expedite the process

" "[Josh] knew how I wanted to push myself," Rollins said, "and he could help me get me where I wanted to be with the workouts and stuff like that and at the same time, he knew to pull me back when I wanted to push a little harder

" New opponents calls for new movements. I never stop learning with @joshyg27's programming

Getting ready for 2x #SmackdownLive Champ @alexa_bliss_wwe_. #raw #getonnit @onnitacademy A post shared by Bayley (@itsmebayley) on Apr 19, 2017 at 12:39pm PDT  Bayley was just five months into her CrossFit journey when she suffered a shoulder injury while facing Nia Jax on Monday Night Raw

Her problem was the opposite of Rollins' -- she couldn't do any upper-body work, not even deadlifts, which can be "mentally draining," Gallegos said

"She couldn't row and running was a little tricky, so she was on the assault bike a lot," said Gallegos, who noted that the key is to "get as creative as possible with what you're given

" One-armed kettlebell work became the norm, and Bayley was concerned about losing strength in her injured arm

Working around the injury was more mental than anything. "I was just worried that I was going to re-injure it or push myself too far to where it would push my [recovery] time back," Bayley said

Coming back stronger When Bayley returned to Monday Night Raw, she didn't tell Gallegos because she wanted to surprise him

But that also meant her workouts still had to be modified. She waited until about three weeks after her return to action to get back to her previous intensity with CrossFit

"To me, wrestling always comes first," Bayley said. "So I just wanted to get some matches under my belt and make sure it felt OK in the ring before I even tried to do cleans again because that, to me, I felt like would be a lot of pressure on the shoulder, even snatches

" Most people in the position of Rollins or Bayley, according to Gallegos, could "showboat" or "coast

" But they don't. "These guys have setbacks just like any other person," Gallegos said

"To see them fight through all that stuff and come back stronger than before is awesome

" Gallegos has drawn in several other WWE stars as clients over the past few years

He now writes programming for Rollins, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Roderick Strong, as well as conditioning work for Cesaro

In November, he announced WWE's United Kingdom champion "Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne as his latest client

In addition to his training work with WWE superstars and many others, Gallegos has become a prominent figure within CrossFit, which includes opportunities like MCing the CrossFit Games

Courtesy of Josh Gallegos Though Gallegos doesn't consider himself as ever being a CrossFit "athlete" -- he's been at the CrossFit Games as an announcer, but never a competitor -- his transition to coaching allows him to changes lives

"Whether it's a weight loss goal, setting personal PRs or making them look good on TV, I get no bigger thrill than being a part of that goal

That means more to me than competing," Gallegos said. Creating programming for WWE stars is "like a dream come true," but what Gallegos enjoys most is that they are "normal, everyday people" who just want to improve

"They have the same kind of goals and concerns that a normal CrossFit athlete does," Gallegos said

Becoming 'CrossFit Jesus' Over the past seven years, Rollins has garnered the nickname "CrossFit Jesus," though he doesn't know where the namesake came from

"I think I bear a striking resemblance to the western version of Jesus Christ of Nazareth facially with my own beard and long hair and stuff like that," Rollins said, "and I'm always talking about CrossFit, so somewhere along the line, somebody put that together and came up with the CrossFit Jesus moniker, which is fantastic

I think it's wonderful. It's funny and it's correct and my wrestling school made a T-shirt out of it

" He's been a vocal advocate for CrossFit on social media, and Rollins has also made it a point to make CrossFit a requirement at his school -- the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, which he runs with independent wrestling veteran Marek Brave, in Moline, Illinois

"I'm trying to basically start a new wave in functional training with wrestling, with professional wrestling," Rollins said

"I just think it's the best foot to start off on." Rollins recognizes that after his students leave Black and Brave, they can train however they see fit

But by having the baseline of CrossFit knowledge, they'll have an understanding of how their bodies move that'll help them both in the ring and in the gym -- and that's a message Rollins is happy to pass along to the next generation

"At least after three months, they're going to have some idea of the fundamental of how to move their bodies through space with strength and speed and accuracy," Rollins said

"So I'm just trying to pass the information and the things that I've learned and accomplished on to the next generation

Troops blast top brass after lessons on nutrition from obese squaddies - Duration: 4:46.

Almost bursting out of their uniforms, the two female soldiers pictured on the right are hardly people you would turn to for tips on a healthy lifestyle

But amazingly, one of the soldiers lectures on nutrition and the other cooks for the Royal Fusiliers – adding to the fury of troops over how top brass have failed to give fat squaddies their marching orders

Both the pictures attracted cruel comments when they became memes on social media

'It's almost childlike': Venezuelan foreign minister blasts. Share this article Share Furious soldiers have spoken to this newspaper after we obtained figures that reveal hardly any of the Army's nearly 9,000 troops diagnosed as obese have been medically discharged

They want the Army to take a tougher approach towards 'fatties in the ranks' who they claim would be useless on the battlefield because they are so out of shape

According to the latest Government statistics, just 63 troops have been booted out for being obese since 2007, while soldiers who are obviously overweight have been given responsibility for encouraging healthy eating

Troops complained to The Mail on Sunday after listening to a lecture on nutrition from the Royal Army Medical Corps instructor pictured here who appeared to not be taking her own advice

We have hidden her identity. One soldier said: 'Her advice was sound on proteins and carbohydrates and when to eat or avoid certain foods, but her message was lost on some people because of her appearance

'It's just not right people wearing the uniform when they're in that condition. You want somebody giving you nutrition lectures who looks super-fit because then the blokes are inspired by that person

But with the Army so under-strength, maybe senior officers can't be that choosy about who they use to teach people about healthy eating

'. A worrying number of troops are also failing fitness tests, in particular the standard eight-mile speed march while carrying a heavy pack, which must be completed in under two hours

Almost 8,000 soldiers – one in ten of the total strength of the Army – have failed to beat the clock in the past 12 months

Last night, former infantry commander Colonel Richard Kemp said top brass should be stricter with soldiers who can't keep pace or slim down

'It is embarrassing to see troops in such poor physical condition wearing the uniform

They are only retained because of the manpower crisis which the Government has failed to solve,' he said

'These individuals would be a danger to themselves and others in any sort of fighting situation

'They are expensive to retain and to do so is a waste of resources.'

Making brain health a way of life - Duration: 6:23.

If you watch these videos I do every week, you know that I've been on a bit of Blue Zone

kick lately.

The Blue Zones are the rare places in the world where thing like cognitive impairment,

or diabetes or heart disease are all but unheard of.

The thing is, these people don't try not to get Alzheimer's.

They don't go to the gym.

They don't ask, "Are these oats steel cut?"

They just are lucky enough to live in places where the lifestyle is so conducive to wellness

that they don't experience these chronic health conditions.

For them, it's a way of thinking and a way of living that keeps them healthy, and it

can be for us, too, if we're intentional about it.

So today, I want to show you seven signs that you have developed a brain healthy mindset.

Hi, I'm Tony Dearing, of GoCogno.com, the website for people with mild cognitive impairment.

If you have been diagnosed with MCI, your doctor surely has talked to you about things

that give you the best possible chance of slowing or even stabilizing that cognitive

loss.

These can be things you do, or even better, they can become the way you live.

So in that spirit, here are seven signs that brain healthy behavior has become ingrained

in your thinking.

No 1 — When you used to automatically look for the parking spot closest to the door,

and now you automatically look for the further parking spot from the door.

No. 2 — When you find yourself standing in front of a vending machine, and your eyes

are immediately drawn to the pistachios and not the peanut M&Ms.

No. 3 - When you look at a green smoothie and you find yourself thinking, Man, that's

a nutrition bomb of brain health and not you used to think, which was, Man, that sure looks

like a glass of green puke.

No. 4 — When you play Sudoku several times a day because you find it enjoyable and relaxing

and satisfying, but you don't kid yourself into thinking that it provides any cognitive

protection, and for that, you turn to things like real brain training instead.

Are you with me so far?

OK, let's keep going.

You know you have a brain healthy mindset when:

No. 5 — When you walk into a Starbucks and see a white chocolate mocha Frappuccino with

its 410 calories, 15 grams of fat and 63 grams of sugar, and say, "Why would I poison the

most brain healthy beverage know to man?"

And you order a cup of black coffee instead.

No. 6 — When you hear people talking about how much they're looking forward to binge-watching

Gotham or The Black List this weekend and you find yourself asking, at a time when we

know sitting is the new smoking, how did television binge-watching become glamorized as the ideal

leisure activity?

And No. 7 — When the office phone you had on your desk for years and worked perfectly

well is replaced by this new high-tech, cloud-based phone system that you can't figure out how

to use and can't even place a simple call on, and instead of resorting to profanity,

you say, "How wonderful, learning to use this new technology will trigger neurogenesis,

which will create new pathways in my brain that will put me at greater protect against

dementia."

Although in this case, as a fall-back position, I do reserve the right to resort to profanity

when I'm talking about this .. . . new phone system that they've given me.

There, with that cleansing burst of obscenities, I have concluded my list.

Now it's your turn.

Here's what I want to ask of you.

If you've spent any time on my website, GoCogno.com, you know that I have a free library of guidebooks,

tip sheets, checklists and videos that address many of the major big concerns that people

with MCI have.

I'm always adding to the library, and I thought this list would be a fun addition.

But it needs to be little longer, maybe 10or 12 things, and not just seven.

So I'm asking you to help me add to it.

Give me one way that you can tell you've developed a more brain-healthy mindset.

If I can get two or three or four more suggestions from people like you, I'll add them to the

list and put it to the library.

I'll personally send you a copy, and it'll be available to others when they visit my

site.

To make your contribution to my list, leave it a comment, or you can send it to me by

email at tonydearing@gocogno.com.

I hope to hear from you, and I hope to see you again next week.

Until then, as always, be kind to your mind.

Ander Herrera's honest opinion on Man Utd after Arsenal win is eye-opening - Duration: 3:49.

Jose Mourinho's toxic last few months in charge looked as if they could have a lasting effect, but the Norwegian has pretty much banished all those demons within less than two months

United defeated Tottenham 1-0 at Wembley to show the world they were capable of beating the best once again and added another big scalp to their collection in Arsenal on Friday night

A counter-attacking masterclass saw the Red Devils beat Unai Emery's side 3-1 at the Emirates, Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial grabbing the goals

Every single player at the club appears to have shown some kind of improvement under Solskjaer, with Paul Pogba looking like a world beater once again

Even players more associated with Mourinho's style like Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic look to be thriving in a more positive, attacking environment

Herrera was a key man once again in defeating Arsenal and the Spaniard's thought on United's current situation after the game really were eye-opening

Herrera said, per Mirror: "We are playing with no limits, yes - it's exactly what Ollie brought to the team since the first day

"We enjoy scoring goals and we enjoy defending together. You can see that when we are playing free with a smile and everyone is playing for each other then the results will come easier

"We are doing great. It's always beautiful to win. That's why we play. Ollie has said we want to be a team that controls the game but sometimes that's impossible

"Sometimes we have to defend, but when we defend we know anything can happen because we have so many quick, attacking, offensive players

"I can make runs to be in the box, Paul (Pogba) can make runs to drive the ball forward, Ashley (Young), Luke Shaw is allowed to win the ball in the box and make a run even to the opponents' box

"Now I am allowed to go into the box soon after I defend. Even Nemanja Matic is allowed to shoot

"Attacking players can feel free. As long as everyone defends when we lose the ball

And I think that is what we have now.  "Everyone is allowed to go and attack. So when we are playing everything is possible because even in the tough moments when we are defending, we have the feeling that we can hurt the opponent because we are allowed to attack

"Of course it's wonderful to have that freedom. But it's also a responsibility because you know if you are in your opponents' box and you lose the ball, you have to come back

"  While Mourinho isn't named by Herrera, it's obvious he's taking a clear swipe at him
