"Freestyle Tactics ? What ? Let me check this out..
What is it ?
Interview of Matthias, Alex..
Oh fuck.. It's Lionel Cardoso.. Not good for me..
What do you mean ? I'm not the only Flatland Youtuber anymore ?
all my business plan need to change
I tell you the truth, I began to write a plan for my future
Because Youtube is all about business.. Riding my bike is cool but I want to make a lot of money
it changes all my plan
my plan was : "1. Become a Bmx Youtube star 2. Make a lot of Youtube Money 3. In two years : retirement"
I'm not feeling good right now.. really not !
Ok, things are serious now. Let's go to the studio to see more about it.
Here we are, let's go to speak about it.
Hi everybody, my name is Kevin Meyer Bmx, if you don't know me yet, I speak about Bmx Flat on my channel
I am actually, in all modesty, the #1 french Youtuber about Bmx Flatland
Ok, let's calm down. We are really not numerous
We can agree I have no merit, or not very much in comparaison with other sports
Today, I go to show you more Flatland content, more content creators, youtubers..
Because, when you are on the sunday morning, you want some pancakes, but you want different cooking recipe
different opinions, different views to make the best choice and eat the best pancakes
Ok stop because I start to be hungry, let's go back to Bmx
The goal is to give you a lot of infos so that you can make your own opinion and not only the flatland vision through my eyes.
In Flatland or in other sports, everyone got his own vision, not good or bad
In this video we will see the Bmx Flatland youtubers and also every "How to" channel or videos
You'll see different riders doing the same tricks in different ways
So you can choose the best way to launch or hold the trick, (not only with my video)
The more you will find infos, the fastest you'll progress
You remember your first session, on your parkinglot, skatepark and you think "hmm ok what can I do now"
You've probably seen an edit from Matthias or Alex at the FISE
Maybe you've discovered the Flat through one of my youtube video with famous youtubers.. I don't know
The thing that's is known is : Flatland is difficult at the beggining
Let's start with the list of the Bmx Flatland Youtubers.. And.....
There is really not so many Youtubers about Flatland in the world
I've tried to search, I didn't find so many channel. Maybe in the dark web we can find some Vlog about Bmx Flat but I didn't find it.
Actually, there is only my channel and the channel "Freestyle Tactics"
I want to promote this channel because the content is really awesome
Lionel Cardoso was one of the main french riders in 90s 2000s, he worked on so many project (Speaker at the Fise)
That's why he knows all the biggest pro riders
On his channel you'll find really good interviews with interesting questions
For the moment you can see Matthias Dandois and Alex Jumelin (Yes, not the worst riders)
The bad point is : it's all in english, but for the moment it's english with french accent so it's easy to understand
In the case you can't understand, it's a good way to work on your english lessons
It's also a good idea, you can ask to your teacher at your english class to use this interviews as a school project
I have finish with Lionel's channel, go check this out and big up for the work
The second french channel is the one of Matthias
(If you know just a little bit about flatland, you know who Matthias Dandois is. If it's not the case, go revise your lessons)
I speak about Matthias because it's a good transition. Few years ago he launched the "How to" : Can you make it with Alex Jumelin
They are among the best in BMX Flatland, so you'll find very good tips
Alex is also a coach in the FISE Flat Academy (Montpellier), so if you're not around, you can check the Can you Make it videos
Once again it's in english but with french subtitles
Go check Matthias channel, he doesn't post very often but when he does, it's a must watch
Let's continue with french channels, you can find the one of Etienne Taraud
Not really how to tricks, but you can see all tricks name + some slowmotions
All level tricks from begginers to master class
Next one is Quentin Pelorson, he's an awesome rider with really hard tricks
You can find on his channel some variations of basic tricks, for example whiplashes, hang5..
You can pick a lot of ideas from his videos
We are done with the frenchies, now I go to try to show you some international riders
For sure I can't mention all the riders but I try to make the biggest list
From the japan side, you can find some how to by Masato Ito
You sent me the link of an old VHS (VHS explication : if you are young, it's a video you put in the taperecorder)
From KHEBikes, I remember this video, it was really awesome
You can also follow Heesung Lee, to find some how to video with Street/Flat style
And for sure, Martti Kuoppa. He doesn't have a Youtube channel for how to, but he write really detailed post on instagram about tricks
He's also a really awesome coach, you'll find a lot of tips to win time during your session
For the Nosewheelie, you can follow David Dudelis
He's the world record owner, so he's the best to give you advice. You can check the how to nose manual on his channel
OK, we have finish with the youtuber part, also with the how to part.. BUT..
You have to follow 2 websites to find all the last videos in Bmx Flat
Flatmattersonline managed by Effraim Cattlow
And Global-Flat managed by Martin Schulz
I would like to thanks a lot Global-Flat for the help with this video and the next one (online soon) "Spoiler" it will be about all the BMX Flatland shops around the world
These 2 websites make post everyday with the last Youtube video about Bmx Flat
So, if I have forget some riders (For sure I did), you can find all infos on their websites
Now you have vidéos for hours to watch, it's winter time, best period to check all this content
I hope you liked the video, I try to open to an international audiance
You can leave in the comments if I forget something or if you liked it
And also if you want other subject about Bmx Flatland
You asked me to speak about Flatland History. I will, but I need to search more info and make some interviews to give you the best content
