This is Joel Harris, the owner of Sterling services and he's here to help

us to basically save some money on those costly AC repairs by

giving us some important preventative maintenance that we should be doing.

What are some of the most common problems that you and your technicians face?

We like to focus on on preventing little problems

turning into big problems. Okay, some of these components, these are all just

parts that have been taken out of air conditioning systems that have a

little bit of something wrong with them. We have little signs here. You have

heat on circuit boards. You have worn out parts. You have burned contacts, things like

that. This is a simple, easy repair and it's only about 10% of what it costs

to replace the compressor and if that goes into a hard failure that's exactly what you're dealing with is a

compressor. So if we catch it soon enough, then we won't have to

go into the high cost of getting a compressor.

Exactly. Exactly. This is the power source that mounts to the

wall right outside your house and this is where the power goes into a unit.

Notice this is all rusted out. This weather-tight box isn't weather-tight

anymore and so water and electricity they don't exactly mix so they'll get

along too well. Also, we have aluminum wiring those need

to be tightened down seasonally. So, this box, this is a bad electrical box.

We have the motors. This has a little drag on it. You can hardly turn this.

That's the motor. You want to jump on that before it fails all the way because

that's what keeps our compressor cool.

What kind of money are we talking about if we are running our system with, you know, items

that are decayed and not working properly, we're losing money

inevitably on our bill? (Absolutely, Absolutely)

Something as simple as the component like this

capacitor- this happens to be measuring only about a third of what it's rated at.

This makes your current draw go up a lot higher and in essence that relates

directly to an increase in electric usage.

Why I Love Trigger Point Foam Rollers - Duration: 1:45.

Another thing I like to travel with is a trigger point foam roller.

You can see this little guy is compact, easy to fit into luggage, easy to pack with some

of your equipment. Put some of your clothing inside of that so you're not taking up unneeded

space ... more efficient.

A lot of people have issues with their IT bands, which can lead to some knee issues.

I like to use the foam roller for a IT rolling with myofascial release.

I start with it on my hip or near my pocket.

I like to be on my elbow, so I'm not stressing the neck and my upper back too much.

I bring that top leg forward, 'cause it helps propel me through the motion,

and I go really slowly.

It's kind of stealth-like.

I go from the pocket, I roll onto my IT band, and any time I find a hot spot or adhesion,

I just kind of hang out there, or near there and let that adhesion, that hot spot,

kind of dissipate.

So, the slower you go, the better you're gonna be able to get in there and

work those tough areas.

I can also do ... a lot of times I have issues with my upper back.

I can get into the lats if I have some tightness, roll on the lats.

Just watch going over any joints, that maybe too much for that area, but this is a great

item to travel with and keep up on your mobility, flexibility, and reduce any adhesions, and

keep you fit.

3 LITTLE THINGS YOU MUST DO RIGHT AFTER YOU WAKE UP - Duration: 5:38.

Have you being asked this question before what are the three things that you do

right after you open your eyes? Recently I was asked these questions by

a lot of people. Hmm..... after I think through it, I found that there is 3 things that

I do without fail every single morning once I open my eyes. After I think

through it, only I realize that how powerful these three things that they affect my

day to day and even my entire life! First tidy out my bed! Smooth my bed sheets, put

my pillow upright and folded my blanket! making up my bed is the first ever

thing that I do every single day without fail. It makes me feel better

to start my day and it makes me feel better when I return home with a tidy

and clean bed t to have a good night sleep instead of a messy one! It is like

accomplish one very simple thing in the morning. It gives me the feelings of

confidence and will encourage me to do another and another and another. At the

end of the day, the one thing that I do in the early morning that can turn up

to many tasks the completed after the day! This is the chain reactions that

let you successfully completed your daily task! Making up your bed

definitely is a success building habit! Besides, there's one more very

interesting findings by Grenchen Rubin, the happiness researcher and

the best-selling author of this book: The Happiness Project says making up your bed is

the most effective and easiest trigger for happiness! So if you want more

happiness, try it out! Say for month. It is perfectly okay that you miss a

few days. Trying it out, I promise you you're going to see some different things

happen. Next I'm going to head out to open up my window! Listen to the bird

chirping and also let the Sun Shine into my room! Take a few deep breath and

feeling grateful. I'm grateful that I have a brand new day to start. I'm

grateful that I have a healthy body to experience my life. I'm grateful that I

have a chance to inspire and to help others.

Letting the sun shine into my room, let me feelings that the brightness and

feeling the day will be alright. Next I'm going to head up to brush my teeth and

clean up my face. Looking right into the mirror and smile to myself. Telling

myself today is a beautiful day! Smiling at our own self does not make us silly

and stupid. This is a positive habit that are going to signal your brains,

telling your brains that today something amazing going to happen!

It builds the self-confidence to carry out every single task of your day. Study

shows that our brain will going to release dopamine and serotonin that

going to uplift your mood and definitely can strengthen your immune

systems. Another study published in Psychological Science shows Smiling can

decrease the stress level. The Max Planck Institute In Berlin research found out that

smiling makes people look younger and more attractive! With all these

scientific backups of smiling, you will not reject to smile more, right? You may laugh

at me now. Maybe the three things that I suggest here is look so silly and

stupid. But it's very simple and effective for me!

Simple things is easy to carry it out! just whether you have the heart to make

it happen or not. I challenge you to make these three habits your habits too. Then

Downsizing Jeans Rauch 2311 S17S1G4 - Duration: 2:31.

Intro: Do you ever find that after a while your jeans begin to stretch around the waistband?

Nowadays, many brands of jeans are made with a mix of denim and polyester, leaving the

fabric with a lot more stretch and much less likely to retain shape after a few washes.

Or maybe its not the jeans, maybe you are loosing weight!

Instead of throwing your favorite pair of jeans away after a couple wears, we can show

you how to easily adjust the waistband of your jeans so they hug every curve just they

way they did on the rack, WITHOUT any sewing, gluing or adhesive.

Quick Tip #1- Removing the Tag Many pair of jeans come with a tag sewed onto

the inside of the waist.

This can be an issue when placing the elastic band along the inside of the waist.

The best solution to this is cutting the tag out.

Using a pair of scissors loosen the thread that keeps the tag attached then continue

to cut along the seam.

Once the process has been completed on both sides the tag should come right off.

Afterwards continue with step 8 of our guide Quick Tip #2- Easily placing the Elastic Band

Placing the elastic band along the inside of the waist is difficult as the elastic band

tends to scrunch up.

To avoid this attach a safety pin to one end.

Then proceed with sliding that end into one of the cuts you should have made while working

on our guide.

Since the safety pin can not fold in on itself or become scrunched up, it becomes very easy

to push the safety pin along the waist, dragging the elastic band behind it.

Once the safety pin appears on the otherside simply continue with step 9 and attach the

elastic band

Conclusion: No one has time to get out their sewing kit just to make a small alteration

to their jeans.

Plus, to change them again, you have to rip the seams a second time.

Using elastic and safety pins makes for a quick change that can be done over and over

again to make your jeans fit your changing body.

Hopefully our tip has helped you successfully thread an elastic strip through the waistband

of a pair of jeans a little easier!
