Waching daily Aug 2 2017

Once you finish the baseline

the next time you go for a run you'll see a recommended target zone and exercise

In this case it's recommending to work on our footstrike

but another time you would go running it might suggest to work on your cadence

or maybe your stride length or any other parameter that we can measure

For now we'll use footstrike for the demo

The dashed line is your baseline

the green zone is the recommended target zone that we're going to work towards

When I press start you get a countdown and audio feedback

"Run started, aim to land on your forefoot"

The audio feedback will guide you as to what you have to do with each session you're running

We focus on one element at a time so in this run we'll focus on footstrike

but in another run it might be another parameter such as cadence or stride length

If you're running in the target zone you won't receive any additional feedback

but if you drift outside that target zone the system will give you an alert

and allow you to make a correction in real-time

You can always see exactly where you're running and how you're running

The color of the line represents the zone in which you're running

In this case we're in the green zone so the line is green

You might find that when you're running uphill or downhill that your technique is affected

and that's why the map feature is very important

Here we can see the pressure under your feet which gives us an indication that the sensors are working

and shows how the foot is responding in the shoe

When we finish we can see that in more detail

"Run completed"

We can give the run a star rating to give an indication of how good we felt during the run

and any injuries that occurred during the run

After the run we can scroll through every step we took and locate elements of interest

and then look at that particular step's pressure profile and the orange line will show the roll of the foot

In this case we can see all parameters that have been measured

and not just the target zone which in this case was footstrike

If you're successfully able to maintain your parameter in the green zone

the next time you go running you'll find that it makes another recommendation

for a different element of your running technique to work on

This is the basics of the coaching AI

but you can always override the AI yourself

If you want to you can edit your own target zones

and create your own targets

Or you can receive information from a coach

and accept their recommendations for how you should be running

Leçon 4 - Tu et vous (You and you) - Duration: 9:42.

Hello, and welcome in your fourth French lesson

In French, there are two ways to speak to someone

depending on how close you are to that person

First scenario:

Calling someone "tu",

for the persons we know,

for example,

for a family member,

you will use "tu",

for example, your father, in the morning,

you can tell him "Hello dad,

are you doing well?"

"Are you doing well?"

"Did you sleep well?"

Voilà

With your friend, with your classmate,

you will use "tu"

"Did you do the homework for today, Mathieu?"

"Did you do the homework for today?"

With your colleague, also,

you can use "tu"

"Hey, Marc, you are not working very fast, today"

To your boyfriend,

you will say

"Do you love me, Nicolas?"

"Do you love me?

"Do you think we will die together?"

"When will you ask me to marry you?"

"Tu" is for the persons that we know

Then,

second scenario: calling someone "vous"

That is to say

that you will use the personal pronoun "vous"

with the persons that you don't know well,

or the persons you have to show some respect to

For example, your Math teacher,

that you know, he is your teacher since the beginning of the year,

but he is your teacher,

he is not your friend, he is not your brother, no no no

So, we respect him, we tell him "vous"

For example,

"Mister,

can you explain to me once again yesterday's lesson?"

Voilà

Your boss, generally, you call him "vous"

A stranger, in the subway,

who bumps into you, for example

you will tell him "You could pay attention!"

"You could pay attention"

Because he is a stranger, and even if he bumps into you,

you cannot call him "tu",

this is lack of respect,

you have to call him "vous", you don't know him

Voilà

For example, your neighbor,

this is a typical example of...

"it depends",

your neighbor, it depends on the relationship you have with him,

if he is a neighbor you invite at your house every week-end to barbecue,

in this case, you can tell him "tu"

because you became friends,

you became close friends

While if this neighbor,

you barely say "Hello" to him in the morning,

if you are not very sociable

and he is just a neighbor you don't have affinities with,

you will use the personal pronoun "vous",

in the morning, you see him, you tell him

"Hello Mister, are you doing well?"

"Are you doing well, Mister, today?"

Voilà

I hope you took some notes

Now,

what do we do when we want to speak to several persons at the same time?

When we want to speak to several persons

either we know them or not,

we will use "vous"

Yes, "vous"

"Vous" has two functions

"Vous" is used for speaking to one person that we don't know well,

or to several persons,

either we know them or not

I am giving you the example of the parents

To my mother, for example, I will say:

"Mummy, you smell good!"

"You smell good, mummy!"

And, to my father, I will say:

"Oh lala! You too, daddy,

you smell good!"

But,

if you want

to give the same compliment

to both at the same time, to both of your parents,

you will tell them:

"You smell good, daddy and mummy!"

Because they are two people

Individually, you tell them "tu" and "tu",

but if they are together, you tell them "vous"

There

I think that... at least I hope

that it was clear enough

I will give you just some examples of sentences

calling someone "tu" and calling someone "vous"

so that you see the difference,

for example, the sentence

"What's your name?"

There, this is when you call someone "tu"

And "What's your name?"

This one is when you call someone "vous"

So, you are going to tell me "But...

«What's you name?»

is the type of question we ask to someone we don't know,

usually, so we should use «vous»"

And you are right, but

try to take into consideration that

using "tu" is very common

among young people,

that is to say that if you are a teenager, or even

even beyond 20 years old

if you are in a rather "young" ambiance,

in a young and dynamic company

with an average age of 20 years old, between 20 and 25 years old,

you can tell "tu" to those people,

even if you don't know them already

you can ask them "What's your name?"

If you have a doubt, try to listen what the other ones are saying,

if they are using "tu" or "vous",

but using "tu" is very common in rather young ambiances

There

Another type of... well, another question

"How old are you?"

This one is using "tu"

And "How old are you?"

This one is using "vous"

There, I gave you those two questions

because in the next lesson,

we should see how to introduce ourselves

and how to ask questions to someone so that they introduce themselves

That way, you already have "What's your name?"

and "How old are you?",

you are already almost ready

There, I will add

another small sentence,

the sentence to apologize

We say "Excuse-me"

if we know well the person

"Excuse-me, Nathalie,

I forgot your birthday"

"Excuse-me"

And we say "Excuse-me"

if we don't know well the person

for example, in the subway, if you bump into someone,

and that you are polite, you will tell them

"Excuse-me"

"Excuse-moi" using "tu"

"Excusez-moi" using "vous"

There, I think I am done

I thank you for watching this video,

and I tell you "see you soon"

KLIM Klimate Parka - Duration: 3:15.

Hey guys, Matt and Seth here from Up North Sports.

We're checking out some of the brand new Klim gear, and Seth's wearing the brand new Klimate

jacket, as you can see, a big design change from last year, this is the red, camo color

Seth.

You got it, and boy, you're not kidding, is this thing popping or what.

Great visibility out on the sled guys, going to be an awesome feature, and not to mention,

something that's kind of outside of Klim's wheelhouse on an outer wear piece, so it's

really nice to see them do something fun and different.

Absolutely, check out our sizing chart and all the colors available at UpNorthSports.com,

there are six total colors, but depending on what color you like or you're interested

in, the sizing chart will depend on that color.

Now, in the all black color, I will mention, that one goes from small all the way up to

5XL, so the black, all black, will be the only one that's going to get the 4 and 5 XL,

so make sure you check out the Up North Sports sizing chart as well.

Now Seth, let's talk a little about some venting and pockets on here, we do have really nice

pit vents.

Certainly, and one thing I do want to address as well, before we dive into that Matt, I

want to give you guys an idea of the size I'm wearing, because they did change this

up a little bit, it fits a little bit different than it used to be for the insulated stuff,

so to give you a point of reference, I'm 5'9" 175 pounds, I am very comfortably wearing

the size large, in fact, I find it to be just a little too generous.

Now if I were to be wearing a Tek vest, armor of any kind, it might be a little bit of a

different story, but, fair amount of room through the midsection, a little bit short

in the arms for me, but one feature I really like that they did add Matt is the wrist gator

on the Klimate jacket, so another great feature, but again, just an idea to give you guys for

when you're buying, purchasing, 5'9" 175 pounds, I'd probably wear the size medium in it.

Absolutely, and Seth, I'm going to turn you here real quick, we're going to take a look

at this pit vent here.

Really nice, I like how they did the water sealed zipper in the color red as well, so

that's really sharp, it matches the jacket nice.

You'll see, nice mesh, going to keep any snow dust out of the jacket as well, and we have

that on both sides.

We also have, as you can see there, really nice.

We do have the one chest pocket, all water sealed guys, all quality YKK water sealed

zippers, going to keep all your belongings nice and dry.

Seth, and speaking of dry, we need to talk about the Gore-Tex in this jacket.

Absolutely, guys, 100% windproof and waterproof.

Gore-Tex will keep you dry from the inside and the out.

It is one of the finest performing membranes on the market, exclusive to Klim in this particular

series, it's a fantastic thing to go with, and always good protection, no matter what

you're riding in.

Absolutely, and you guys have probably heard of the Klimate jacket before, it's been a

staple piece as far as insulated pieces goes with Klim, but they've redesigned this guys,

30% more warmer than the Klimate in the past, we're talking 300 grams of thinsulate in this

jacket, Seth.

You got it.

And another feature that they did change up on this that I'm a really big fan of is the

included snow skirt.

So again, Matt mentioned, awesome YKK zips all the way through, good protective storm

flap with nice Velcro enclosure, going to keep that snow dust and wind out, again, great

chunky main YKK zip and the included snow skirt.

I love this feature, guys, great for keeping the powder and the wind out.

Don't have to use it, but a great feature to have if you do want to.

Absolutely.

Thanks for watching our video guys, the Klim Klimate jacket, available here at UpNorthSports.com,

check out our sizing chart and colors available on our website, or if you have any questions,

INSTRUMENT FOR WALKING ON WATER (FROM STRETCH FILM AND STYROFOAM) – DIY - Duration: 11:27.

Hi guys

What's up?

I'm the interesting

and I'm Ficus

Today we have a very powerful experiment

Today we'll make something by which you can walk on water

Guys, this is such a technological breakthrough because if we succeed, then each of you will be able to walk on the water

We have this idea for a very long time and now the moment has come, when it's worth implementing

If you, yes, yes, you haven't subscribed to our channel yet

Be sure to do it right now by clicking the button below

Today is exactly one year, since we have started to work with Styrofoam in our videos

Therefore, on this anniversary, we're also doing the same from Styrofoam and today we have a new beginning of the Styrofoam era

Mega experimental video that nobody has ever done before. Even we're not completely sure that we will succeed

Yeah? The design is going to be unique… Waterway

Now guys, we are trying to make a wheel from the wooden bars and we need to make sure that they're circular

The height of our circle, that is, the diameter, should be of 2 meters and we are now puzzling about how to calculate the length of the circle

It'll consist of eight segments and to find out the length of each segment, is confusing

But they all should be equal, right?

Now we'll hurl it and try to find out how stable it is. If it doesn't fall apart, it means that everything will turn out great

It reminds me of the Umbrella logo

Everyone is running away from me

I found a hedgehog. At least one creature came to my hand

It's really a hedgehog, the baby hedgehog

We have already begun to fasten the spacers and connect these two, how we've already named it, the wheels

See how cool it's turning out, such an unusual form and we'll also put the second wheel. Damn so Cool! It'll look like a time capsule

We have to fasten here such 5 such bridge and the construction will be ready

Very cool place for Kayaking

Guys, kayak sails very quickly, but we will catch up with it tomorrow, and even overtake it because we have big plans

We haven't yet come up with its name like how to call it. Please leave your options in the comments

The task that we have set for today has already been accomplished, we have made the framework of our waterway and now the sun is about to set so we have to stop the filming and we need to transport this thing to our garage

But it is not nearby so we've to attach it to the roof of our car, our trunk. I'll get inside it and support it. So that's how we'll transport it

We'll put Ficus in a cage because he misbehaved today

I'm the squirrel from the glacial age, where is my acorn?

I almost fell down together with the whole construction. Barely passed the tree branches. It's creaking so much I'm afraid it doesn't role aside. By the way it's cool, riding at the top

Fresh air

Now we'll start strengthening the construction in proper order by screwing here such horizontal beams. And due to the fact that there will be 2 beams in a row I think the construction will be stronger

And guys, I'm screwing here such diagonal braces for additional support.

We finally strengthened our framework and now it's time to lay down the floor…with such fiberboard so that it's more convenient to walk or run inside

The construction turned out quite strong

This is an endless treadmill

Alright guys, we're done with the floor and we think that now it'll be easy to run in it and rotate our construction

Well, our construction will also have blades. Firstly we'll screw in here such fastenings and the blades we will turn later after we cover everything with Styrofoam

Two fasteners for the blade are ready

It's time to wrap our device in a winter coat called Styrofoam. We will wrap it up in 2 layers, so that I don't drown there along with this construction, 2 sheets are fasten into 1

It looks like a steering wheel of a sheep.

Well actually from far it looks like a fancy time machine

Few minutes ago, in the neighborhood some men were drinking and eating and suddenly come to ask to find out what's happening here

Among them one guy was strong and pumped up. He took this thing and said, let's drag it into the estuary but Sergey somehow stopped him

His friends came here and took them away. I was already thinking of running into the bushes

Write in the comments what reminds you of the cutting sound of Styrofoam? To me it reminds of the sound of Mandrake from Harry Porter

Time for the deadly stunt, guys. Now we'll turnover our waterway

Guys, it looks like a beach dressing room or a street shower room. We've similar shower room in our village just that is square. There is an echo I guess

Write in the comments, what our construction looks like?

Now, it's time to wrap our construction with stretch film, on top of which will be Styrofoam and again stretch film on it. So here's the most interesting part

The construction looks quite interesting. Do you remember this stretch film? We made our "stretch film house" using this. I hope you've seen that. Alright guys, it's time to dress up our construction

At first we're wrapping it up with duct tape so that the wind doesn't carry away the Styrofoam and then on the top of it we'll again wind up the stretch film

It looks like a nuclear bomb

And to me it seems like a Motor that consists of such a mechanism with some magnets here. We already have one layer done just remains to do the same at the top and seal it with the stretch film

Guys, agree with us that it's a very cool idea. I don't know how we'll implement it, what will be the outcome

but we hope that you'll give it a like and support this video and this idea as we were not afraid to implement it because usually everyone is afraid

Something comes to someone's mind and they are afraid and they postpone for later and a result no progress

Well so that it looks beautiful. We wrapped everything in blue stretch

And now guys we just need to attach the blades

And we can already sail

Yes, we can sail. Already the sun is about to set so we're in a hurry to accomplish our effort

I can't wait any longer

I don't know how to describe it, I have no words

Dude, this is so cool

It's really something incredible

looks like some kind of hadronic collider

Yes, really

Catalyst

Squirrel in a cage

The moment has come; I can't wait to sail away

Guys, we did it again

We worked so hard for this and we got the result. It really sailed guys

Fiiicuuusssss

I'm sailing

Look at this beautiful open view

So guys, everything turned out good

Though there were some shortcomings or else we could have sailed faster

But we'll fix it all, if you want and give it lot of likes

Yes, if there will be a lot of likes, we'll make the construction more reliable. So hit the like and leave your comments

Yes, be sure to write in the comments what would you have added to our construction, what you didn't like about it and what do you want to see next?

So, subscribe to our channel

Click the bell

So that you'll be the first to know about our new videos

Thanks for watching

Bye everyone

Bye

PARIS VLOG 2017 - PART 2 // MISS GRACE VLOG - Duration: 10:36.

Mom didn't wanted to join me I don't know where she is right now.

Don't have my glasses on, there are lot of people

Maybe I should zoom in trying to find my parents Mm-hmm

And unfortunately my other phone has no signal at all so I can't even receive any sms

I feel like a lost child I

Was not even gone for 10 minutes, where could they be?

We definetely separated over here. We went over here, and then they said like we're going to wait here.

Maybe I am not lost, but they are?!

I found them

They don't even care!

They don't even care?! Like.. they lost me ...

Morning everyone. It's already after 12, and this is very very tired we idea in Paris

driving as a

Typical tourist with open tour bus through Paris visiting the Louvre

It was around 11 PM when we decided to go on a trip to Paris

We went to bed and at 5:00 a.m.

We woke up and drove all the way here, and this is our spontaneous trip to Paris. It's Sunday and packed

I found something really yummy

For those who don't want to line up for the queue

To go inside the Notre Dame, they have another attraction. You're feeding birds

oh

What do I do? Oh my god! Oh my god there's another one coming

I actually just wanted to film them and they're coming from everywhere

I would love to go here but it's closed

we're waiting for our Blue Line to continue our bus trip through Paris

And in the meantime I'm looking for nice bars&cafes

Where we can go and have some dinner later

It's a good thing that you have plenty of free WiFi spots here

But you need to be very patient with the connection

It's freaking cold!

So right now we're in a the taxi going back to our car. Which is close to the Eiffel tower

We thought we could drive with our ticket with the bus to the tower back again

But unfortunately. They are not driving anymore

and it's super rainy super Windy and super cold. We waited like around ten minutes for the Green line but

unfortunately

No one came, so we decided to take a taxi

It's already dark, and I'm freezing to death , so I'm super happy right now

I'm sitting in the car and our trip is

here over, and it was this spontaneous trip to Paris

As my birthday present I guess. I hope you enjoyed this vlog, and I'll see you in the next video

Well you couldn't see it, but that was a crash in the middle of the road

But I'm not surprised because they drive really crazy here, not as crazy like in Bali, but Crazy European crazy

It's so pretty

I's super cold, it was raining all day, but I'm going to give you one more shot here from the Eiffel Tower at night

Hope you liked this video. Give it a big thumbs up if you liked it and

Hey sista, go sista, soul sista, flow sista Voulez cous coucher avec moi se soir

It's accessible with a car, too

This is the east

I guess it's the Eastern part when you want to walk to the sacre-Coeur from

down there actually it's quite difficult to drive with the car to the main front because the

Navigation system leads you to down there that we were I guess you should ask around

how to get there by car start. Oh it's starting to rain again

Our second day

Our last day

they have locked the doors and

Here was the place where we came in, but they locked it, so there's one more there left over there. So there...

She's running!

That's a dog going to chase them all away . Let's go back to the car

Let's go home, Vlog is over! See you!

One more

Bye Bye

Everything You Need To Know About Bras | 5 Things You Need To Know | Refinery29 - Duration: 3:54.

Hey everyone!

I'm Asia and here are

The 5 Things You Need To Know About Buying A Bra.

Na-na-na-na-na-na.

I sound so dumb saying clasps.

Clasp.

Clasp.

The compression bra keeps your boobs compre—

keeps your boobs.

When I'm on stage show me boobies.

The first thing you need to know about bras

is your size.

Cut to the chase, straight out the gate.

Either you hate bra-fitting

or you never had it done before.

There's actually an easy way to do it.

When you go into a department store and

you're ready to buy a bra,

just ask the salesperson to help you or

you can buy a tape measure and do it at home.

There's always this dread that

you've gone a cup size up or down.

Or you're confused as to how you can be

a 38C and a 36D at the same time.

Here's some tips to know if your bra is fitting.

You should wear your bra on the outermost hook,

not the inner ones.

Then as your bra loosens,

you should work your way into the inner hooks.

The second thing you need to know about buying a bra

is what kind of bra to buy.

Hold off on style and focus on this:

you need a lift or nah?

Do you need a demi bra?

Do you need a push-up bra?

Do you need a bra with full coverage?

Cue the Playtex commercials!

No?

No commercials?

You could always ask the same people in department

stores what bra would best suit your needs.

Or sometimes it's just trial and error.

Let me paint a picture for you.

At some point while I was in high school,

I thought I could get away without wearing that

pesky underwire in my bra.

I've realized I was wrong when bloop!

My breasts would fall out from under it.

Never again.

The third thing you need to know about buying bras

is the sports bra.

And yes, it gets its own number because

this may be the smartest bra ever made.

There are typically two types of sports bras:

a compression bra and an encapsulation bra.

They are exactly how they sound.

A compression bra keeps your boobs compressed

to your chest for support.

The encapsulation bra is better for women

with a larger cup size.

It supports your breasts like a regular bra would.

Typically these aren't wired and

are acceptable as a top piece of clothing

when you're working out.

Also there are no clips and tags in the back

making you itchy.

Funny story about these little lifesavers:

when I was just 8-years-old,

a sports bra was the first bra I've ever wore.

And it saved me from being teased as

one of the only girls in my class to develop early.

I've come a long way.

The fourth thing you need to know about buying bras

is how many and how often do you need to buy them?

Figuring out how often to buy a new bra depends on how

often you wear them and how often you wash them.

Wash your bra too often and it'll probably lose its shape.

You should probably handwash or gentle wash

after every three wears or so.

Having several of your everyday bras

can actually make it a lot easier

if you put them in rotation.

A good rule of thumb is to replace your bras

after every six months.

Some of us may keep it a little too long

and it's not pretty.

The fifth and final thing you need to know

about buying bras is that you don't really need

to buy these breast traps

if you really don't want to.

This may negate my entire perspective

this entire time I've been telling you about

buying bras.

But really, I'm just saying is it's up to you.

I mean I have four basic bras in rotation:

two demis and two push-ups.

Demis for more comfortable t-shirt days

and push-ups for those crop top days.

And I just wear them because they make me feel

comfortable and supported.

See but if I didn't care where these babies landed,

I'd just ditch it.

And honestly bras are pretty expensive.

So all the more reason to free the nipple.

#FreeTheNipple.

But also you don't really have to spend

a lot of money on bras.

There's actually a link in the description below

if you want to find some for under $30.

Why interest rates matter to you - Duration: 4:08.

I'm Damien from MoneytotheMasses.com and the most frequent question I'm asked is

when is the Bank of England base rate going up. To answer that you need

to focus on typically the first Thursday of every month because that's the day

when the Bank of England, the MPC Committee, meet and decide whether the

interest rate is going up. This seesaw here what actually happens

is there is a group at the moment of eight people who sit around in a room and

decide whether the base rate is going up, down or stay where it is.

I've drawn this because the most recent vote that we had was slightly skewed to

people saying they wanted to leave it where it is at the moment which is

0.25% which is a massively historic low but there was a bunch of people at this

end who started to vote to try and hike it which actually shook markets.

Why is this important? It's because the base rate impacts everything

in our economy. If you think of our economy as a car.

If you think the economy is like a car engine and inflation is like revs

and you've got interest rates like gears. What the Bank of England is doing is

trying to keep our economy ticking along. So if you are driving a car then your engine

is going along nice. What will happen is as the revs increase

they will start to go towards that red area then what happens is you move up the

gears and that's the equivalent of the Bank of England moving interest rates up when

inflation starts to increase which keeps the engine from blowing up and actually

starts to control inflation just like when you drive a car. So what happens when

inflation starts to drop or the economy starts to stutter they move it down. Where

are we are at the moment? We're in gear one and we're almost in reverse.

So what's happening is we're trying to predict when they're going to

start moving up the gears. If you can drive a car you could technically drive

the British economy. What's happening is this seesaw is moving and we're

starting to look like we might end up getting a rate rise. We don't know when

that's going to happen. What you need to do is focus on typically the first

Thursday of every month when these meetings happen and they decide the vote.

You need to work out this skew of what's happening, so the split.

It's a majority vote and when more people want it to rise eventually the rates

will go up. Where is it going to go? Why is that important?

We're at 0.25% and most people are on their standard variable rate for their

mortgage. So if you have a mortgage and you are on their standard rate

if rates go up that mortgage lender could push your mortgage rate up.

What does that actually mean for you? So if we are at 0.25% and the Bank of England

decide to move up just a fraction to 0.5% then what that means on

a typical mortgage over 25 years for every £100k you borrow this

is the additional amount you are going to go up by - an extra £22. If it goes up to

0.75% you can see the figures all the way down here. Historically we've

been up nearer somewhere like 5%. So you can see if we have a normal

interest rate regime and we get back to normality you're looking at a couple of

hundred pounds more a month and the reason I tell you all this is because there's

never been a better time to fix your mortgage and you should be thinking

about it at least because what actually happens is there's a supply and demand

metric that goes on. So typically people will start to think about fixing their

mortgage so they're worried that when rates rise their mortgage, if it's not

already fixed, will start to rise as this SVR starts to go upwards. Then what

happens is they will start to react at that point. But what will happen is all

the best deals will suddenly be snapped up and the rates will generally go higher

on the best buy tables. So it means that if you're thinking about it you're

better off pre-empting this move as we don't know exactly when it will happen.

The final thing you're probably thinking is that I don't care because I don't have a

mortgage but as I said the interest rate impacts everything. Your holiday

money is impacted by it because if interest rates go up it means that

normally the value of the pound will go up. So it's actually good news for you if

you are going abroad because it means you could buy more dollars or Euros. Additionally

if you're a saver it means if rates go up then hopefully at some point your savings

rate might go up.
