Waching daily Mar 26 2018

Hello my name is Father J.D. Jaffe

Today is Palm Sunday

and in today's Gospel

passage for Palm Sunday we actually have two Gospels

The first Gospel is the triumphant entrance of Our Lord

into Jerusalem

The second Gospel is the reading of the Passion

It always strikes me as amazing that as Christ's

triumphally enters in Jerusalem all of the people are calling out "Hosanna's" to their new king

and praising Him as the king as He enters into Jerusalem

But it also reminds me these are the exact same people who four days later are saying

"Crucify Him, crucify Him!"

As we read the Passion of Our Lord we encounter

Our Lord as His suffering servant rather than a king

Instead of royal robes He's stripped

and instead of a crown of gold He has on His crown of thorns and He is

placed instead of a throne upon the cross

I'm reminded of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s

line that "darkness cannot dispel darkness but only light can do that"

and "hate cannot dispel hate but only love can do that"

The devil is filled with hate and pride

and therefore

we can use that same concept in casting out the devil

Pride cannot overcome pride, only humility can do that

and Our Lord, though in the form of God, we're told

does not deem equality with God

something to be grasped at

Our Lord Jesus in all humility mounts a throne of

wood of cross and rather than being a king becomes the lamb that is slain

We hear in Alphonsus Liguori's passage in the eleventh station of the cross

Consider how Jesus thrown down on the cross stretched out His arms and offered

to His Father the sacrifice of His life for our salvation

They nailed His hands and feet

raised up the cross and left Him to die in anguish

As we consider Our Lord's passion

we realize His great merciful love for us that everything He did

He did for our salvation

So our challenge this week is to focus on the great love

that Our Lord has for us that instead of coming in majesty and power

He would come in humility and then brace all suffering so that we might have eternal life

Easy Coconut Balls - Homemade Raffaello Balls - with Milk Powder - Duration: 3:03.

Easy coconut balls, better known as homemade Raffaello balls are so simple to make! 👍

They are tasty and you'll get a lot of them!

For the coconut dough, we need: 2 dl of water,

250 gr of margarine,

450 gr of sugar,

2 tsp of vanilla,

200 gr of shredded coconut,

and 500 gr of powdered milk.

First, put the water and sugar to boil.

As soon as it starts to simmer, put it away from the hot stove.

Add the softened margarine and stir until it combines.

Gradually add the powdered milk, while constantly stirring.

It is better to have the liquid cooled down a little bit before adding the powdered milk

because the powdered milk easily becomes lumped.

Although, even if it does happen and you end up with lumps,

as long as the dough is still hot,

you can easily break the lumps with an immersion blender or with a regular mixer.

Add the coconut powder and stir it all in.

First, let the coconut dough to cool to room temperature,

then transfer it to the fridge to harden.

For the balls, we will need 130 gr of hazelnuts or 150 gr of almonds,

or better say, for each ball one nut.

Sure, you can use both!

I'll toast the hazelnuts at 180C in the oven until their skin doesn't crack

and the almonds I'll just put in a boiling water for a minute or two until their skin becomes soft.

It's super easy to peel the almonds.

Press them a little bit, and they will pop out from their skin.

As soon the hazelnut's skin starts to crack, take them out from the oven.

The easiest to peel them is to simply give them a good rub with a kitchen cloth.

Use a teaspoon as a measurement and take walnuts sized pieces from the dough.

Form them into a disk shape, then put either one almond or one hazelnut and close the ball.

The formed balls roll into shredded coconut.

The easiest is to roll them in one baking tray or in a container.

This way you can roll more than one coconut ball at a time!

If you like a lot of coconut around the balls, then try this water trick.

Each ball dip in a water and then roll it in coconut.

This way, even more coconut will stick to them!

Enjoy the always super coconut balls,

like the video,

share the recipe

and if you are new to my channel,

subscribe so you won't miss the next simply good recipe!

[TECH TALK] What do you know about Injectors? | Injector Dynamics X Series - Duration: 8:35.

- In the past decade we've seen a huge improvement

in both the quality of the injectors available to us

in the aftermarket,

as well as the knowledge surrounding how these

injectors work and how we need to deal with those

in our aftermarket ECUs.

We're here with Tony Palo from Injector Dynamics

to talk about Injector Dynamics' new X series of injectors.

So Tony for a start, ID, Injector Dynamics,

you guys have been in the market for a long time now.

I feel like you've really forced the level of knowledge

in the industry as a whole to come up.

So you started out with products like the ID1000.

And that's a really well known injector.

It's really popular, it did a great job.

So what's driven you to move to the new X series

of injectors?

- Well you know this started out small,

the ID1000 was the first product.

And it did great, it built a great reputation.

And over the years that's opened up some doors

for us to work very closely with Bosch Motorsport.

And the ID1000 was a modified smaller injector.

And we wanted bigger stuff.

And so when we got to start talking to Bosch,

it was, you know maybe we can build something

a little bit bigger.

The ID1300 was our first fore into a custom piece.

So that was designed for us to our spec.

We went back and forth in the development process

and did a bunch of testing and decided what we wanted.

So that started the X series of injectors which is not

modified smaller injectors.

They're motorsport specific pieces.

- I just wanna stop there because there's an important

distinction here that I think there's

a lot of misunderstanding in the greater industry.

Obviously the injector market has exploded,

there's a lot of manufacturers or suppliers

I should really say out there supplying injectors

to our enthusiasts.

And the X series are a bespoke injector that is only

available from Injector Dynamics,

this isn't a remanufactured production product, correct?

- That's correct, everything in the X lineup

is manufactured for us by Bosch Motorsport to our spec.

Can't buy it anywhere else.

And they are unique from anything else that they offer.

- And my understanding as well is that even while you're

working that closely with Bosch Motorsport to design

and develop these injectors,

some of the internal componentry is actually still being

constructed by Injector Dynamics is that right?

- Yes we actually manufacture some of the internal

components that Bosch then uses to assemble

the injector with.

We did that because we kind of had an open book into

what Bosch has available in the UB14 series.

And it's not good enough to make the ID1700.

So we needed to improve some things in there

and we figured out a way to do it

and we manufacture those.

- OK so in terms of coming up with a design

or developing an injector that flows in this case

1700 plus cc's depending on your differential pressure.

And still allowing good control down at small

pulse widths, supplying small quantities of fuel

so that the engines will still idle.

Those two very different aims there,

still being able to supply a huge amount of fuel

and maintain idle.

How do you go about that and where are the

sort of priorities placed on that injector's design?

- Well depends on the size.

So obviously the 1050X and the 1300X2,

those are, they're gonna be based around

a lower horsepower car.

So if somebody wants a bigger injector,

we have that available.

When we start getting into the ID1700 and the ID2000,

it's a race car, it makes a lot of power,

we get the flow that we need and we do the best

that we can down low.

And we're able to fully characterise that.

And that's what most of the development process is.

We need to make sure this thing opens

when you crank your car and it's got five bar fuel pressure

at nine volts, and that's not the case with a lot

of big injectors.

So you run into situations where the injector

won't even open.

- So just to talk about that there,

I think that's something that is overlooked a lot.

Obviously when our engines are running,

typically we can expect around 14 volts,

the charging system.

But as you've just mentioned quite often

particularly if you've got a weak battery,

you might get down to nine or 10 volts

during cranking and if you're running those very high

fuel pressures which a lot of people are these days,

that higher differential pressure across the injector

makes it harder for the injector to physically open.

Hence when the battery voltage drops,

this is the situation where the engine may

struggle to start?

- Correct.

- Now moving on with that as well,

you've talked about the characterisation

and the linearisation.

Can you just talk a little more about what exactly

that means and how that's going to affect

the average tuner?

- So the short story is injectors have a linear

operating range.

When you're in that range and the computer

wants a 10% change in fuel,

assuming the injector offset is set correct,

you actually get 10%.

But that's not the case in the lower range.

The bigger the injector gets, the more into that lower

non linear range you are at idle and at light load.

And so if you don't have any kind of linearisation

done there, some ECUs do it, some ECUs don't,

so we provide all that characterisation information

for an OE ECU, Motec M1,

any of these ECUs that have it.

And that makes everything predictable,

it makes everything work exactly like it's

supposed to down there.

- So if you don't have that linearisation

or characterisation data then you can expect

first of all a funny shape to your fuel curve,

potentially down at those low flow areas,

where you're effectively fudging or baking

in an error into that fuel table.

And then of course all of those corrections

like you've just talked about won't work correctly.

Now in terms of the fuels as well,

we're seeing a move now from a lot of people

moving away from pump gas,

ethanol blends are becoming more and more popular.

As well as some of the nastier race fuels,

and this can be a potential compatibility problem

with some injectors.

How do the X series handle those fuels?

- The X series were designed with that in mind.

Ethanol is huge now.

Ethanol is not the best lubricant.

And all of our internals are corrosion resistant

against ethanol.

We're talking about pieces that have lift

measured in microns.

So they're very very tight tolerance pieces.

They don't do well with contamination

and lack of lubricity.

So that was the key with all of our X series.

- So again as you were saying earlier,

a true motorsport injector designed from the ground up.

Now just to talk about one of the products

that you've got a very close competitor to,

the ID1000 versus the 1050X.

So if someone was to upgrade from an existing

ID1000 to the 1050X,

can we expect any differences that would be noticeable?

The dynamic flow's gonna be higher

as well as the static flow.

It's about 5% more flow.

A lot more pressure capability.

The 1050X is good to 10 bar.

So there's a lot more capability.

The linearity is slightly better.

But in the end you just get slightly more flow

with no loss of performance on either end.

- Of course we're also seeing a drive for engines

to make more and more power.

Particularly when we're running on fuels

such as E85 or methanol where we physically

have to inject a much higher volume of fuel

to make or support the same amount of power.

We need to see bigger and bigger injectors.

So the ID1700 obviously you can increase the fuel

pressure that will effectively flow more fuel.

Have you got anything bigger in the pipeline

or is that about as big as you can really go?

- So the 1700X was as big as we could get.

1700 wasn't necessarily the goal,

make the biggest we can that performs well,

and that's where we ended up.

We do have some bigger stuff in the works though.

We expect an ID2000X to come and potentially

something even bigger than that.

- OK well exciting times.

Definitely your products as well as the data

that you provide to the tuners makes our lives

a lot easier and hence we get a car that runs better.

Now if our viewers want to find our more about

the X series injectors or any of the Injector Dynamics

products, where can they go?

- injectordynamics.com everything you wanna know

will be there.

- Awesome thanks for the chat Tony.

- Yeah thanks

Ask the Vet - Is corn oil good for horses? - Duration: 4:36.

SARAH: "Is corn oil good for horses?

I've seen people put corn oil in their horse's feed.

What are the benefits?"

I am so excited this question got voted to the top,

because at my barn when I was a kid, we used to feed corn oil.

And now I'm glad I don't anymore.

DR LYDIA GRAY: And lots of barns still do.

I mean, I'm not surprised that she's seeing people do this.

It was always sort of the go-to oil.

But now we have lots of not only liquid oils

but solid products, and--

SARAH: Which are a lot less messy.

DR LYDIA GRAY: Yeah.

So let's go first for the reasons you would feed it.

And I'm going to back up and say why would you

feed fat in general, not just the corn oil.

You feed fat for calories, for energy.

So you have a horse in heavy work or that is a hard keeper,

and you just can't maintain his weight and energy with just hay

and whatever concentrates you give him.

So fat is a very calorie-dense nutrient.

There are some conditions like PSSM,

where we found that when you provide fat as a fuel,

they seem to do better movement-wise.

Their muscles appreciate that.

Now, we're getting more specific.

There's specific kinds of fats--

omega-3 fatty acids-- that have been shown

to support really healthy skin.

So horses that have sweet itch seem

to do better when they have omega-3s on board.

That's the problem with corn oil.

Corn oil, as you know now, is really high in omega-6s and low

in 3s.

So the balance is skewed.

The problem with that is that 3s tend

to support pathways and processes in the body that cool

and calm things down, and 6s tend

to be exciting and get the body all ramped up.

And we don't want to do that, because it's not just the skin,

it's everything.

It's joints, it's muscle, it's digestive system.

Those omega-6 pathways are--

I'm just going to go ahead and say it.

They're on the inflammatory side.

They lead to inflammatory mediators and cytokines,

and the omega-3s don't.

So we still use fat, but we've gotten away

from corn as the source of it, because that ratio is about--

I've seen anywhere from one part omega-3 to 60 parts omega-6,

even 80 parts omega-6.

And we look at pasture as the ideal ratio,

and it's four parts omega-3s to one part omega-6.

So even the opposite.

SARAH: Omega-6s is in pasture, and then corn oil is like this.

DR LYDIA GRAY: Yes.

SARAH: So of the opposite way.

It's not what you want.

DR LYDIA GRAY: It's very hard to come back

from that skewed of a ratio.

So your choices for, then, a healthy fat

would be flax seed, chia seed-- two

of the most highest levels of omega-3s in plants-- fish oil.

But the other side of it is, what form of fat

is convenient for my horse and tastes good?

Sometimes oils, in the summer, can go rancid

if they're not stabilized properly, and in the winter,

they can get thick and hard to use.

And so a lot of people have gone to solid fats.

And not, like, like a chunk of fat.

I don't mean that.

I mean, like--

SARAH: Like a scoop of Crisco.

DR LYDIA GRAY: Yeah, no, I mean, like-- the word is prilled.

And they're tiny, tiny little granules of fat.

They have a little bit of flavoring in them,

and they're quite tasty, and they're

convenient for everybody to use.

And so a lot of people have gone to that.

SARAH: Around here, we affectionately

call them greasy fat pearls, which--

how does that not sound appetizing?

But the horses do love the taste.

DR LYDIA GRAY: Yeah.

SARAH: A lot of people, I think, wonder

why there aren't more pelleted fat products,

because that is always a challenge, especially

with hard keepers.

A lot of times they're picky eaters,

and that's part of what makes them a hard keeper.

But fat is just hard to pellet.

DR LYDIA GRAY: Well you said it.

Greasy.

Things that are greasy don't stay in formed pellets.

They just, bleh, fall apart.

So we can prill them into the little pearls,

but it's very hard to make a larger pellet-like structure

that holds together.

SARAH: Fortunately, we have several powder-based,

pearl-based fat products that have terrific reviews,

both in terms of palatability.

So you guys can read reviews from horse owners

right on our website.

Learn Marketing for Ecommerce: Where to Start? [Oberlo Weekly Q&A] - Duration: 1:39.

Hey everyone, my name's David – and it's question time.

This is our weekly series were we take a closer look at a question which one of our viewers

left in the comments section from a recent video of ours.

If you've got a question of your own, don't be shy!

Leave it in the comments section and I'll be sure to read it.

Okay, so today we're answering a question from Long, who asks for some specific details

on marketing:

There are plenty of ways that you can market your store, but we recommend that dropshippers

use Facebook advertising to promote their products.

Why Facebook advertising?

Well aside from the huge audience, Facebook marketing has a quick feedback loop.

That means you'll be able to check the performance of all the campaigns you launch within just

a couple days, and you'll be able to optimize them on the fly, so you won't waste any

valuable business funds.

For example, if you start off by targeting both men and women, and you find that after

a few days that 80% of the people who clicked on your advertisements are women, you can change your

audience so that only women will receive your ad.

This way you won't waste money targeting men, who don't engage with your content

as much.

If you're interested in trying out this marketing tactic for your store, check out

the Facebook advertising tutorials from our channel

We have loads of content on our blog and YouTube channel about other marketing channels you

can use to drive traffic and sales, so be sure to check out the Oberlo platforms for

more details.

We also published a big whole ebook called 50 Ways to Get Sales Dropshipping, you'll find

all sorts of detailed info in there.

Thanks for that comment, Long, and good luck with your store – we hope that helped!

Do you have something that you need help with?

Let us know below.

We check through the comments section every day and we'd love to use your question in

our next video.

Technical Analysis 101 (Part 1): Candlesticks, Support/Resistance, & Trendlines - Duration: 6:40.

Hey guys, I'm Angelo & welcome back to Crypto Coin Consultants.

Technical analysis is one of the most powerful methods of predicting market price & direction

in the world of cryptocurrency.

This will be the first video in a multi-part series where I'll teach you the basics of

technical analysis.

The key behind this is that they're the BASICS.

There are other alternatives & methods you can use, but my goal with these videos is

to provide just enough information for you to get started to successfully trade.

For those who want more in-depth information, investopedia.com will be your best friend

for this.

With every tool, indicator, or pattern I show you, I'll first introduce the concept, followed

by a live, onscreen demonstration on how to actually apply the concept.

Let's get started!

The first & most common thing you'll see when opening up a graph are green & red bars,

called Japanese candlesticks.

These candlesticks indicate the direction the price moved within a given time period;

so if we wanna look at the 1-day charts, each candlestick represents the price movement

for one entire day.

If we look at the body of a green candlestick (and ignore the lines extending above & below

it), we'll see that the bottom line indicates the price that that coin opened for that day,

while the top line tells us the price the coin closed at that same day.

The lines extending outwards are called "wicks," and indicate both the lowest & highest prices

the coin sold for within that 1-day period.

The only difference between a green candlestick & a red candlestick is that a red candlestick

indicates that the coin's price closed below its opening price; meaning price moved downwards

for that day.

Now let's put this into action.

Looking at Bitcoin's 1-day graph--which you can see I've selected here by clicking

on 1 day--you'll see the prices for the open, high, low, and close represented by

O, H, L, and C, respectively.

Hovering over to January 5th, 2018, we can see that Bitcoin opened at $15,143 dollars

for the day, at some point dropped down to $14,810 and reached as high as $17,200 during

that same day, and finally closed at $16,928.

Three days later on January 8th, 2018, Bitcoin opened at $16,173, reached as high as $16,300,

dropped all the way down to $13,900, and finally closed at just under $15,000.

The next thing I'd like to discuss is what you'll hear referred to as support & resistance.

These are price levels in which the price of a coin is prevented from being pushed further

upwards or downwards.

Support--also referred to as a floor--is the point at which a coin has repeatedly dropped

to a certain price point before being bought up again.

Resistance--also known as a ceiling--is the opposite; the point at which a coin has repeatedly

gone up & touched before being pushed down again.

Keep in mind that support & resistance levels are merely "zones," meaning they act as

a general area in which price is predicted to bounce off, rather than an exact price.

You can use support & resistance levels to your advantage by buying low when a price

reaches an expected support level, then selling it off when it hits its resistance.

One thing to note too is that when price breaks a certain support level, you'll oftentimes

see that same, former support level act as resistance later on down the road, and vice

versa.

Now let's go back to the charts so you can see exactly what I'm talking about.

Looking at Ether's 6-hour chart from mid to late December of 2017, we'll see that

the price of Ether was repeatedly facing resistance around $750.

With the exception of December 18th, 2017, every time it hit resistance, price went back

down until finally on January 1st, 2018 it broke through.

You can also see that that same $750-ceiling later on acted as an important level of support

here, here, and here, in which price moved back up after touching it.

The last concept I'd like to cover in this video is a tool called a trendline.

As its name implies, trendlines show the general trend of a particular coin's price.

A coin's price trend can move in one of three different directions: up, down, or sideways.

You can think of trendlines as sort of dynamic areas of support & resistance, which will

make more sense once we look at the charts.

Again, these are general areas (or zones) of support & resistance, and are difficult

to pin to an exact price.

Some key things to note are that two touches to a trendline form a speculative (or tentative)

trendline, while three touches to a trendline are a confirmed trendline.

A touch is made distinct from another touch when they're separated & spaced out from

one another, rather than clustered together over the course of a smaller time frame.

Thus, bigger time frames (like the 12-hour or 1-day, for example) lead to more valid

trend lines.

The more times price touches a trendline, the stronger or more powerful it's considered

to be.

Longer trendlines are more powerful; meaning the longer the trendline has been intact,

the more likely you are to see this line get respected, and for price to predictably bounce

off it.

But keep in mind that the more powerful the trendline is, the more violent you'll see

price react once it does manage to break that trend line.

Going back to Bitcoin's 1-day chart from May through December of 2017, for example,

we can draw a confirmed ceiling trendline here.

Note that price touched--and at times came close to touching--the trendline more than

three times.

Late October/early November saw price test it & break through, but it was suddenly pulled

back down until it broke through again in mid-November & reacted violently with an almost

200% increase in price over the course of about a month.

Alright guys, that wraps up episode one of my new, multi-part technical analysis series.

Stay tuned for the next video, where I'll be showing you even more TA tools you can

add to your arsenal.

Buying & Selling USED Camera Gear (VLOG) - Duration: 7:10.

What's up guys, welcome to today's vlog today I am headed out to this really

cool dam I've been there before but I haven't actually been there recently and

today I'm actually selling a lens that I have to this guy who I'm meeting at the

dam everybody say goodbye to my 14 millimeter I bought this on a whim got

it for a really good price used and now I'm selling it used again it's a great

lens but I really have much use for it I used it one time and I have this 19

millimeter that I love much much more it's very sharp and it's sony native so

without further ado let's get going

alright guys so I just got to this really cool place it's called The Croton Dam

it's got a really awesome reservoir over this really incredible

waterfall I believe they've recently renovated this place so I'm not sure how

long it's actually looked like this I didn't start coming here until like

past year so I only came a couple times basically this dude wanted to meet up

with me so this spot is actually halfway and I'm selling in one of my old lenses

and I haven't really been using so I thought it would be perfect to sell it

to him I actually bought it used for a really great price and I'm selling it

for you know a little bit less but I just want to shout it out there that I

think it's extremely important that you sell whatever equipment that you don't

use you know a lot of these things in this industry devalue so quickly lenses

lenses tend to hold their value a little bit more but if you're not using it I

don't see why you're good why you need to hold

but when it comes to cameras I wouldn't even invest in anything crazy high-value

it's probably better to rent but if you're going to buy a camera I usually

recommend buying it used you have to do extensive research on figuring out what

to be looking for in a used piece of gear but I'm telling you it'll really be

worth it in the long run and when it comes to selling there are so many

resources for you to sell on I particularly like selling things on

Facebook cause I'm not a huge fan of selling things on ebay but if you're

able to actually auction off something on ebay you're tend to get a little bit

more but notice that you will be paying eBay fees so it's kind of a trade off

yeah I really like selling on Facebook and these kind of buy and sell camera

groups because they're really fantastic for you know just selling it to really

reputable people that are also in the industry.

In this group called black with no cream shout out to them,

they have a buying cell group as an extension of

their Facebook group and that's actually where I've sold this on and it's really

cool that I'm meeting up with the dude right now and I decided to come out here

to this gorgeous place and take advantage of the fact that you know he

couldn't meet me where I was because it's a little bit too far so we met

halfway and now I get to enjoy this gorgeous day in sunny NY.

Also just a disclaimer, if you're gonna meet up with the person make sure you're

not doing it at your house or anything like that so go to like a really

populated area maybe the local coffee shop or the town over or you know

wherever you need to go but make sure you're not meeting up with them in a

private setting make sure there's lots of people around because who really

knows these are kind of strangers and you got to do what you got to do so I

think I've explored enough of this bottom part so I am going to head up top

the dam and see what's up there and we made it to the top look at that

snap of a finger we get up here no but actually it's like a 10 minute drive to

get from the bottom to the top which it's kind of strange to make us or so

close I mean so just right down there you'll notice that this bridge is

actually closed and most of the dams around here in bridge and things like

this had been closed since 9/11 in New York they're considered soft targets so

I actually usually sometimes get in trouble for filming on them I'm not sure

if that applies to this one or if it applies to up here but anyways this place is super

cool especially at sunset sunrise is right over there I've come here for

sunrise and it sucked it was like pitch black and the Sun did not seep through

the clouds so it was complete waste of time and it was freezing it was so cold

that day I was so mad about it but I did get a really cool picture out of it

it was a pretty sweet picture so I kind of happy about it look I really

think there's a ton of cool pictures that I can get up here so I'm going to

kind of explore a little bit and see what I can do

I really want to thank you guys so much for tuning in today I really appreciate it.

And welcome to my vlog series which is at it's beginning stages. This is one of my first

vlogs I've ever done. If you got anything out of this video and enjoyed the tips

Shout Out Monday Evening - Arduino Edition - Duration: 13:27.

here we go with another shout out Monday evening and today is March 26 2018 and

today's acronym is some Arduino so let's get going with this right now hi I'm Tom

Kvichak and this is Toms Trains and Things I do these shout outs every

Monday so you as the Model Railroader can learn new things about model

railroading and today's subject is going to be on Arduino and we're going to do

quite a few videos on that subject in the future after we finish up two videos

on the instant buildings that are coming out this week on Tuesday and Wednesday I

had so much footage on it did it took up two videos so Tuesday is part 1 and

Wednesday will be part 2 so look for that and the Arduino will be on Saturday

so what is that acronym that we're talking about some Arduino now if you

can imagine some Arduino that's gonna be a doozy so I gotta read this one off

here shoutout Monday evening any real developer understands initializing

normal objectives and if you know anything about coding then you'll

understand that or I should have said objects but anyway that's what we're

going to talk about today Arduino right after this if you would like to see more

videos like this on model railroading and shout outs and Arduino electronic

projects everything about model railroading go ahead and hit that

subscribe button and while you're at it ding that bell so you could be notified

whenever I have a new video coming out and go check out the playlist page down

there I have a lot of playlists over 40 of them categorized in subjects for you

to find easily so go to that playlist page

the categories that I have that you're interested in Ango and watched those

videos there's a lot of good information there so let's get started with this

right now the first thing we're going to take a

look at today is the Arduino webpage which is www.Arduino.cc it's an Italian

company and they originally produced Arduino for educating young children so

it's going to be an easy task to work on these things and everything that you

want to know about Arduino is on their web page even education resources they

have getting started tutorials they have these tutorials on here on different

subjects the foundations and more examples from libraries built in

examples and I'll show you some built in examples and references all the coding

that is used in Arduino sketches is right here and if you have any issues

with it you just go on there I'll do one of the first ones digital Reed which

you'll be seeing a lot and it gives you an explanation of what it is and example

code and you can also go on the IDE for Arduino and get example code there also

but let me bring up online tools ok right here they also have a web editor

and I'll bring this up real quick you could use the web editor or you can

bring up the IDE on your computer as well but since we got right here I'm

going to do the web editor real quick I'll show you examples basics and blink

this is what is loaded on every our doing

you know just a short sketch to blink an LED on there just to show you that it is

working normally it gives you a little bit of explanation right here of what

everything is and the code starts right here with the void set up and we're not

going to get into that right now but I just wanted you to see that you can get

to it from your web browser and here are some of the things that you're going to

need first off is uh we're going to be using a Arduino Uno now this one was

made by make and I have quite a few things that are made by make here's a

project board right here which has a couple of extra LEDs a couple of push

buttons so and a potentiometer where you can set this thing up on top of it and

we'll go through some of that those things later on but this is called a

shield now I have another shield here this is a relay shield

unfortunately Arduino only works with three point three and five volts so if

you need to operate anything higher than 5 volts you're gonna need a shield a

relay either a relay shield or a relay board they both do the same thing they

both have 4 relays on it this one you just hook it up to your Arduino hook up

the jumpers to the specific pins and you're on your way to operate things

that work with higher than 5 volts I have a new Arduino here still in the

package you're gonna need a breadboard with some jumper wires like these right

here or if you'd like to make your own you could buy these boxes a jumper

jumper wire this is 22 gauge solid wire you get 25 foot in each row and you got

different colors there and you can make your own jumper wires so you don't have

these big ones all over the board now anytime you get a

a shield say like this one the relay showed you get little information about

it this one was from seed studio which I bought a long time ago

and it works pretty well and that this does the same thing it's got four relays

on there you put your outputs on here this is your inputs that go on to your

Arduino board and that's all you're going to need and the enthusiasm and

ideas of what you want to do with your model railroad but anyway let's get back

up to here and go back to they have a forum blogs they have project hubs where

people the things that they built with arduino z' and the one good thing about

arduino z' is that everything on here is open-source

the board is open-source you could go on the Arduino website and they you could

download the schematic for this and build your own and that's what we're

gonna do I have one of the chips for it and I had to get it through spark fund

because it's got the bootloader on it you want to get one with the bootloader

if you want to make your own Arduino but if you get it directly from Arduino I

think it's like 22 dollars if you get it from another source you could get them

as cheap as ten dollars and then they got the pro mini and the Nano ones that

are real small about half the size of this right here about that big right

there where you could do the same thing as you can on and uno

so we're gonna have some fun with building these projects on here and this

is the same thing as the web browser IDE and you can go over to examples and

basics and we'll go over to blink right here and this is the same thing that we

brought up on the web browser and let's expand this a little bit and

with the explanations same exact thing and comes down here to the actual code

and what you could do whenever you need any kind of code on here you just go to

the examples and that's a starting place and if it isn't pat and if you can't

find it in the examples they have let me see what else we got here this is one of

the ones this one right here is by Geoff Bunza and this one is for the 17 servos

to operate the 17 servos he did an explanation of this in model railroad

hobbyist magazine showing the 17 servos on there but this is so good that you

could go online and find anything that you want you just google what you want

our dwee no servo sketch and you'll find all kinds of servo sketches that you

want so this is what we're going to be talking about coming starting out on

Saturday we're gonna do our first one and then throughout the month of April

we'll be doing some Arduino and some other things but we're gonna get

familiar with Arduino and some sketches and we're gonna do some projects and I'm

gonna show you how to do the same project that I showed you how to dim the

lights we're gonna do it right on here and you're gonna see how easy it is so

take a look for that and leave a comment down below if you own I know I got a lot

of people that already asked for sketches on servos so they could operate

their switch machines so they could use a servo as a switch machine so there we

go but if you have any questions and want any kind of projects let me know

leave a comment down below so we could find some sketch that we could work on

so we can figure it out on our own right here

I might even if you persuade me I might even

doing live one on Arduino check that out it's coming out check out our dueño

webpage Arduino dot CC they have everything that you want to know about

Arduino right there and other things Sparkfun Adafruit Make

all those webpages you get they have projects on there they have products on

there that you could buy and there's more than that I mean even this one

right here this one I bought about four years ago when I bought my first Arduino

it's a relay board in this seed studio I don't even know if they're still

available Saed but I didn't even think about looking on them up but anyway

every shield out there is also open source

so if you buy one you go on to their website you can see the wiring diagram

for that shield so that's the good thing about it everything is open-source the

shields and the sketches and the Arduino boards itself and everything that all

the manufacturers make to fit on and work with the Arduino is all open source

so you can copy it improve on it make your own you can even there's even

tutorials out there where you can even make your own project boards and I've I

got this one from make a few years ago and it comes just the plain board and

they give you all the parts and you have to solder all the parts on to it which

gives you a little bit of experience with soldering on a circuit board but

anyway check that out check out the ad we know page we're going to have some

fun with it and so we'll see you later on remember Tuesday and Wednesday I got

instant buildings and then Saturday I got the first armed wing

video coming out so we'll see ya

No indication between US President Donald Trump and North Korea's Kim Jong Un - Duration: 4:15.

North Korean officials wrapped up a third day of talks on Saturday with Swedish counterparts with no indication their efforts had cleared the way for a mooted nuclear summit between US President Donald Trump and North Koreas Kim Jong Un.

From Washington on Friday, Trump had called his South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-in, whose government last week passed an apparent summit invitation to Trump from Kim, which the US president accepted.

His response triggered a race to set a credible agenda for what would be historic talks between the two leaders.

Before a date or a venue for the summit can be set, North Korea will publicly have to confirm that it sent the invitation and intends to honour it, by attending a meeting to discuss giving up its nuclear arsenal.

In Stockholm, the Swedes were seeking to pave the way for talks which could end a threat of nuclear war, using the leverage of their longstanding ties with Pyongyang, where its diplomatic mission opened in 1975, the first Western embassy to be established in the hermit country.

The embassy today represents US, Canadian and Australian diplomatic interests, giving Sweden a key liaison role and facilitating the talks in Stockholm between Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallström and counterpart Ri Yong Ho.

Ri also met with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, who on Friday said Sweden hoped to be a summit facilitator.

Ris delegation included Choe Kang Il, deputy director general of the foreign ministrys North America section -- though a senior US administration official told AFP Friday: No US government staff are meeting with the North Koreans in Sweden, where Ri was stationed as a diplamat for three years in the mid 1980s.

Wallström had earlier said the talks extended into Saturday given the constructive atmosphere of the first two days.

No concrete announcements emerged Saturday, as the Swedish foreign ministry stated that the talks focused primarily on the security situation on the Korean peninsula, which is high on the UN Security Council agenda.

Noting Swedens consular responsibilities as a protecting power for the United States, Canada and Australia, the statement indicated the foreign ministers discussed opportunities and challenges associated with continued diplomatic efforts to reach a peaceful solution to the conflict.

The ministry added that Sweden underlined the need for North Korea to abandon its nuclear weapons and missile programmes in accordance with Security Council resolutions.

It also stated that other discussions centred on the humanitarian situation in North Korea, sanctions, and regional cooperation and security issues for countries including South Korea, Japan, Russia, China and the United States.

In line with previous sessions of talks, Ri made no comments to the media.

The Swedes added Ri also visited the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute global security think tank for off the record talks with chairman Jan Eliasson and other senior officials on the situation in the Korean peninsula.

Tummy Tuck With Hysterectomy❓(Question Answered) ✅ - Duration: 1:38.

Tummy tucks and hysterectomies can and are performed in some cases at the same time.

Now it's important that your plastic surgeon and your gynecologist both agree that you're

a candidate to have these procedures performed at the same time, and only they would be able

to tell you what your risks associated with doing so are at the same.

Now with any plastic surgical procedure or any gynecological procedure there are risks

associated, but by doing the two procedures at the same time in some cases not only are

your is your health at increased risk, however your aesthetic results may be compromised

by doing the two.

So you definitely need to be a candidate for the procedure and a candidate who's healthy

enough to have these procedures combined not only for health issues but also for aesthetic

issues.

So this is something that is on a case-by-case basis and should be discussed with both your

gynecologist and your plastic surgeon.

Can You Start Amazon FBA With Just $1,000?! Product Research Tool (2018) - Duration: 13:30.

What is going on guys happy Monday everyone

Hope you're all having the terrific day and a good start for the week

Rob here from steps to success so wanted to

Do a video for you guys of exactly

How much money you need to start Amazon FBA and if you know having a $1000 dollar investment is

Enough for you to actually get started on Amazon FBA because I get asked this question

times and times over every single day so

Before we get started on today's video if you are new to this channel make sure to hit that subscribe button and if you are

Already subscribed make sure to give it a thumbs up and hit that notification bell

So you can see all the videos soon as they get updated on YouTube so without further ado

Let's get started on today's video. Also if you haven't still entered to the contest to get entered into

Winning one of three Starbucks gift cards or $10 valued all you have to do is just comment down below

What is your absolute favorite destination spot that you guys want to travel to this year so just comment down below?

And you'll automatically get entered into the contest guys so today's video

I'm gonna be showing you a research product - which is viral launch

Launch product discovery and I'm gonna be using it to show you guys exactly how much money

You need to get started on Amazon FBA and if having a $1000 or two thousand dollar investment is

Enough and exactly how much you will need to be successful selling on Amazon FBA

So these are the set criteria that I have on viral launch so we're looking for categories, baby

Electronics health and household kitchen dining camera photo home kitchen again you guys can go through this

I know everyone has more experience in one category than another I personally really like electronics

That's because I have a niche account in that range, but this all depends on you guys

But this is what you guys want to focus on which is the monthly sales

So I always recommend that you do minimum of 300. I put three or six just because you know most people might be putting

300 and this basically translates to doing about

25 units a day

Sorry 20 units a day so 20 units a day out there

And that's basically showcasing that the product that you're selling and other sellers are going are selling is selling

A decent amount every day so if for example you're bringing in two hundred three hundred

Units of inventory that you're gonna be able to go through that inventory within a month month and a half

Revenue, this is a dollar amount. I put seven thousand a month

I recommend anything over three or four thousand, but in this case

I want to find a product that does a good amount of revenue every month

Price point try not to go below sixteen dollars, and I put fifty six on the high end

Again Charlie stay within this range it's the best price that I find people

Tend to make a lot of purchases on and it's the sweet spot in my opinion

Review counts 500 you guys should be able to get five to ten reviews right off the bat for your products so

make sure that you don't look anything past this point the

Next thing that I really like under the advanced filters for viral launch product research tool for Amazon FBA is

The price change guys if you leave this blank you're gonna see

Products that are on the decline for the price change and sales change so once you put one percent you only get

Products that are moving up in terms of the price change and the sales quantity change

So this is very important the rest of it. I usually leave blank so you want to go ahead and click view filter results and

Basically what we do is. We're looking for the product. We're checking the BSR the monthly sales twenty two thousand a month the monthly revenue

Which is pretty good?

Making four hundred fifty seven thousand profit which is amazing so

What you want to do is?

Check the product idea and see exactly what viral launch tells you about the products so we can get more information once we go through

product by product

So as you can see the estimated sales trend has been fairly constant

So you want to see the first you know?

Starting spot and the ending and just put a straight line through it and see where that's heading

The review rate again the same price trend hasn't really gone up or down so it's been fairly consistent

So this is what's important guys the average review volume is high so that means that if you're trying to?

Enter you need more reviews to get started selling

And that's why you're seeing that high amount of

Profit and revenue that the seller is doing so he has so many reviews and so much reviews that goes with it that it's hard

For new sellers to come in again

We have the viral launch profit cost calculator

So you can see the cost so you see the upfront cost for you to compete with this seller is very high

And that's what we were getting that you know

low

Opportunities go to move in so let's keep looking for a good product

So I'm just going through this guy's again if you're new to product research

It does take some time to get used to so anything that's topical or you know

Consumable you want to make sure that you meet with regulatory agents, so if it's FDA you want to make sure that you have all

The approvals before you start selling it on Amazon FBA

this is very important because if you don't amazon will just simply take off your listing and

That the last thing that you want is you have all these inventory that you can't sell

So this seems like a good product

It's a footpad the numbers look really good the price

And the sales has gone up again you guys can see it. It's just introduced beginning

End of January this year, so it is on an increase the price change is fairly constant the review rating is amazing

Let's take a look at the VAR launch analysis so Tariq looks like a homerun

400 units a month we need 450 only 50 reviews to do amazing

Typical product again, we don't want seasonal we want something that is typical

Profit per unit is almost nine dollars. We're selling it for 20

So see guys. This is what comes into play and what we want to focus on with

1700 dollars that's exactly how much we need to be able to do amazing with this product now

This is what viral launch recommends as a good order for you to do that month and a half

I always recommend that everyone start with a test order so if you see other sellers selling 3 400 units a month

Start with 200 so right off the bat

You're decreasing this cost instead of 17 14

49 to only a thousand bucks and once you start generating profit on your thousand bucks

And now you're making you know 500

600 profit after your

You know initial thousand dollars that you put in now you're much much more comfortable to putting it higher upfront cost of

1749 because you know that once you put that

1749 you have a potential monthly profit of 20 to 26 that you can make off of

Your upfront cost which is amazing and that's what I always recommend, so this is to go

This is to show you guys that you can start selling on Amazon FBA with as little as

$1,000 which is the whole point of me creating this video, so you don't need a big budget

I know a lot of people that come in

Onto Amazon FBA they only want to get started with a thousand to two thousand bucks

And once you are starting to meet that profit and you are seeing the numbers coming and the profits rule and then it's much easier

For you to invest more into a product and start expanding your product lines and bringing in more products

So again guys. This is a very good product if you are watching this video added to your jungle Scout product tracker or viral launch

Pin it and you make sure that you are tracking it

Let's see if we can find one more really good product for you guys for this video. Just to show you if you can actually

make money

With only a thousand to two thousand dollars on amazon FBA

So this is a tree, that's all you can use in your shower

So if you're in the bathtub and you want to eat

Or you want to read or you want to simply have your laptop do work

Again seems like a good product, or let's check take a look at the trend that I'm gonna show you guys exactly

How we know if a product is looking good or not?

So the first thing we want to see is the trend seems to be moving up and down a lot

This is not a good sign guys

It's because it shows that it has high and low fluctuations

and you don't want a product that has structure in you rather have a product kind of be on a steady increase or

Even a flatline, but you never want to see this increase up and down like this this does not look good at all

The price trend seems to be increasing or staying mainly fast was

$37.99 yeah, so it has stayed flat the review is on an increase which is a good sign

So var launch gives it a potential sign so we need 20 to 400 units to do well selling this product

There are products with a high review rating so be sure to source a high quality product so again guys

Reviews as most of you know you need that 5 to tend to be able to compete at this level

But even then bar launch is telling you that there are people with a high amount of reviews

So you really need to make sure that you find a good quality product so you can compete with these top sellers

Otherwise if you don't have the review and you start getting bad reviews on top of that

It's gonna kill your chances of ever doing well for this specific product, so

Next thing we want to look at is the upfront cost that bar launch breaks down for us to sixteen hundred

We're gonna make two thousand monthly profit based on that and off the price selling price of thirty eight ninety nine

We're making seventeen dollar most fifty percent profit margin. Which is a really good?

price point to be at

So the nice thing again for this if you were actually to track it using the i99 on amazon FBA and

You wanted to actually go for this product just make sure that you track and make sure the numbers check out and do a test

Order so you don't need to put this whole sixteen hundred down for your first product

I always recommend that you guys do a test order

To see the numbers work to start making sales even after your first week of you seeing exactly

That consistent sales coming in the over day

It kind of supports your decision into putting more money into the product or you might even decide hey

I'm gonna make a few hundred bucks on my

Thousand dollar test a test order and you know it's not a good product for me

let me find a better product to go into so that way it's gonna save you time because I

find that a lot of people don't track products and

Put a sixteen hundred dollar investment into a product, and it takes them a month two months to sell that product

They might make a little bit of profit or some profit

But again you always want to put your money where you can maximize your return on investment

So it's always good to double check the numbers make sure everything read right and that you are putting your money where you can actually?

Maximize your ROI and your profits and your bottom line and at the same time you always look at the products that you're adding

With a long-term goal of you creating a brand around your you know seller seller account and seller central account

For your seller name so make sure that the products are somehow

Complementary to one another again if you are new to Amazon FBA you might find a few random products that are

generating good profit

but always whenever you're starting your business have that long term vision of you creating something that you can stand apart from your competition so

Three months six months down the line

You're not just selling all these random products

And you actually have a goal and a vision that you want to create your company around so always have that vision

Where you want to be three months six months you know and what kind of category you want to go after

so you have

Something that you you know you're working towards so guys this again

I wanted to show you guys that with a thousand to two thousand dollar investment and as most of you guys

Saw in this video with the sixteen hundred dollar investment

You can actually do really well on Amazon FBA

Again, if you take my advice and go do a test order before spending more money and even a thousand dollars is enough for you

to get started selling on Amazon FBA

Especially if you're new and you've never sold anything online

Before you know that way once you see the money come in you see the profits rolling

It's much easier for you to decide to stay in a product or move on so I hope you guys enjoyed today's video

Again guys. I do have a course which comes with my one-on-one mentoring taking you through

Product research helping you with negotiation with the suppliers all the way to creating PPC campaigns and start generating those sales

So basically I'll be walking you guys through

Every single step of the way making sure you don't make any mistakes making sure that the product is not

Restricted and everything checks out guys so if you are interested in that the link is below in the description box

It's the very first one so sign up

And I can't wait to see you guys on the inside again guys if you did enjoy this video

and

You know you like the content that I'm posting on this channel make sure to subscribe if you haven't already and if this video was

You know useful for you guys make sure to give it a like and leave a comment

Helps me out a lot. You know

Helps me in creating more videos like for you guys, so I know exactly what it is that you're looking for again guys

I really thank you for joining me on this video, and I can't wait to see you guys on the next one!

2019 Bentley Bentayga V8 First Drive - Duration: 9:27.

The entry-level Bentayga Bentley promised us three years ago has arrived.

You didn't expect steel wheels and hubcaps, did you?

The new variant gets eight cylinders instead of 12 and a handful of minor visual tweaks.

For our 2019 Bentley Bentayga V8 first drive review, we traveled to the Austrian Alps to

find out how it compares to the mighty W12 model.

The Bentayga is a mono-spec model; Bentley doesn't offer trim levels in the conventional

sense of the term.

Buyers simply choose a car, pile on options, personalize it if they wish, and sign the

dotted line.

That's how a transaction normally happens in this segment of the market.

The extra-cost options add up fast, but the good news is the Bentayga comes with a long

list of standard features.

It includes an adjustable air suspension, 20-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, a panoramic

roof, a 10-speaker audio system, an eight-inch touch screen with navigation, voice commands,

text-to-speed, and an SD card slot.

There's a 60GB hard drive to back up the infotainment system and store media files.

Pricing starts at around $165,000, which makes the V8 a real bargain in the grand scheme

of things.

Why?

Well, consider this: the W12 kicks off at roughly $230,000.

The difference between the two is enough to buy a Porsche Cayman.

Other models in the V8's competitive set include high-end variants of the Land Rover

Range Rover and, if you're the option-ticking kind, the recently-introduced Lamborghini

Urus.

The Urus and the Bentayga are actually distant cousins, but they're two different animals.

SPOTTER'S GUIDE Heads-up, car spotters.

The Bentayga V8 stands out from the Bentayga W12 with gloss black trim all around.

It's on the grille, on the fender vents, around the windows, and on the light bezels

found on both ends.

The eight-cylinder engine also exhales through engine-specific exhaust tips.

Inside, the two models are all but identical.

Note the V8 is offered with high-gloss carbon fiber trim, a first in Bentley-land.

INTERIOR AND TECH Bentley gifted the Bentayga with an interior

so lavish we're a little surprised it doesn't have a sauna and a caviar bar.

We called the W12 model the most luxurious SUV on the market and the V8-powered version

is no different.

Mirror-matched pieces of wood complement the soft leather upholstery that swathes the seats,

the dashboard, and the door panels.

The materials are authentic.

If it looks like leather, it is; if it looks like metal, it is, too.

The exception to the rule are the buttons on the steering wheel, which reveal the SUV's

Audi origins.

There are other posh 4x4s on the market, including the aforementioned Range Rover, but the Bentayga

represents the cream of the crop when it comes to craftsmanship.

An eight-inch touch screen embedded in the center stack displays the infotainment system.

It's a relatively straight-forward, easy to use software with menus that are clearly

labeled plus redundant buttons and knobs on either side of screen.

It's everything you expect from an infotainment system and nothing you don't.

Apple CarPlay compatibility comes standard, for all you iPhone fans, but the system isn't

compatible with Android Auto and it most likely won't be anytime soon.

The rear-seat entertainment system ensures the rear passengers stay connected, too.

We've seen screens attached to the front seatbacks before.

You'll undoubtedly remember the phenomenal coolness of the in-car VCR if you grew up

in the 1990s.

This is not that.

These are 10.2-inch Android-based tablets that provide internet access via the car's

Wi-Fi connection, plus trip updates while letting the passengers in the back select

their own entertainment.

Bentley gifted the Bentayga with an interior so lavish we're surprised it doesn't have

a sauna and a caviar bar.

The best part of the rear-seat entertainment system is a little smartphone-sized remote

cleverly integrated into the back of the center console.

It pops out at the push of a button.

With it, the passengers can check the outside temperature, change the climate control settings,

turn on the seat's heating, cooling, or massaging functions, and more.

It's in-car cocooning at its best.

There are two basic ways to spec the Bentayga's interior.

The first configuration brings five seats, while the list of options includes a more

comfort-oriented four-seater layout.

Passenger space is ample in both configurations.

Cargo capacity, however, is not the Bentayga's strongest point.

The standard five-seater boasts 17.1 cubic feet of trunk space, while the four-seater

comes with only 15.2 cubes.

In comparison, the Range Rover stands proud with its 32.1 cubic feet.

DRIVING EXPERIENCE The Bentayga's wide grille hides a twin-turbocharged,

4.0-liter V8 engine closely related to the eight-cylinder that powers Porsche's Cayenne

and Panamera models and the Lamborghini Urus.

All three companies operate under the same umbrella.

Bentley applied its in-house magic to the V8 to extract 542 horsepower at 6,000 rpm

and 568 pound-feet of torque over a wide band that stretches between 1,960 and 4,500 rpm.

An eight-speed automatic transmission channels power to the four wheels.

To add context, the Bentayga's other engine is a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 with

600 horsepower and an impressive 664 pound-feet of torque.

Walk across the street to Land Rover and you can drive away in a Range Rover with 565 horses

and 516 pound-feet of twist.

This concoction of metal, leather, wood, and oily bits tips the scale on the wrong side

of 5,200 pounds.

Convert that to timber and you could build one helluva barn.

You'd understandably expect it to take a turn like a Forlanini airship from the early

20th century, but you'd be dead wrong.

The Bentayga handles better than any SUV ought to.

It takes turn with virtually no body roll thanks largely to the available anti-roll

technology fed by a 48-volt electrical system.

It essentially uses electricity to prop up the SUV as it tries to lean into a bend.

The front end feels lighter, too.

Though not exactly a lightweight, the V8 engine weighs less than the W12.

It's like removing a few bags of cement from the hood.

The V8 makes its presence known, which we like; we found the W12 too quiet when we drove

it.

It propels the Bentayga from zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, according to Bentley.

We verified that figure just for kicks and, fear not, it's accurate.

But, how often do you drive like that in real life?

Rarely, if ever.

More important, then, is the peak torque that blasts through the driveline relatively low

in the rev range.

The power is there when you need it, always in a controlled way and never overwhelming.

The Bentayga V8 weighs about 5,200 pounds.

Convert that to timber and you could build one helluva barn.

The optional carbon-ceramic brakes deserve a special mention.

If you're willing to foot the bill, Bentley will build your Bentayga with the largest

front brake system available on a production car today, regardless of market segment or

price.

Gargantuan, 10-piston brake calipers slow the SUV.

If that's gibberish, just keep in mind the average family car uses calipers with a single

piston.

Our test car came equipped with this option, which isn't cheap, and we watched with near-superstitious

awe as it came to a stop like we'd just hit a mile marker on the side of the road.

Driving aids like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist work as-advertised.

We decided not to try out the collision avoidance system to avoid causing a very expensive mess

in a very expensive car – and placing a very embarrassing phone call to a Bentley

representative.

Our time behind the wheel was too short to measure real-world fuel economy.
