LEGO Star Wars Imperial Patrol Battle Pack review! 75207 (Solo movie) - Duration: 7:50.hello everyone this is the Lego Star Wars Imperial patrol battle pack for the
solo movie now this is a little bit unusual for modern battle packs from
Lego in that it includes a full basically minifigs scaled and canonical
fairly accurate vehicle or structure in this case it's a vehicle usually they
nowadays give us you know something that's non-canonical
expanded universe or real real miniaturization based on something
that's real but this is actually a pretty good build it has two stud
shooters on the front one on either side and they give you some extra studs for
that as well very easy to get to those with your fingers as you're playing with
it they don't give me any pieces to make it stand up to you know actually have it
look like it's hovering but I think that's really easy to do because with
this fairly simple build you know you can attach anything you want to the
underside it just uses the modern Technic pin based hinges for the sides
that basically just drop off a Center core has a really interesting initial
build and you can easily just open this up and see how you've got some Technic
pieces in there with lift arms and also Technic bricks and all this is just I
mean it's really just draped there so you really have this this interesting
almost crankshaft looking core frame and then these plate builds just go on top
of that that is a printed insignia right there they give you a total of 3 of
those in a set to officially plus one extra because it is such a small piece
just in case one gets lost you get the stacked engines on the back with the old
Bionicle Brockie eye pieces what those originally were and here they are in
translate blue I think trans medium blue which looks very
similar is actually more common for those so it's nice to see those and the
figure sits there just fine it's not able to hold on to the handlebars
exactly but it's pretty close I mean this thing looks very displayable to me
it could use a little bit more detail but it's
really easy to add that detail another Bionicle piece on the front also borock
I in just a solid black I think it it looks fine and its massive all - it's
another thing where if you get multiples of this set to get more of the figures
you get more of the speeder and it's not a bad thing you don't find yourself
wishing you had something else instead I mean it's perfectly fine to get numbers
of these so I think this is really really good a nice inclusion for a
figure pack so here are a couple of the figures on the left there is an imperial
immigration officer not immigration emigration with an e seen in even the
first trailer and she is not supposed to be a particularly friendly character so
she definitely doesn't look it you know it's supposed to be providing security
I'm assuming and on the right is an imperial recruitment officer also the
type of individual featured in the first trailer for the solo movie it's a little
bit odd to me to get the recruitment officer in this pack
definitely not a masa Balearic tur I mean you could see him as being any kind
of officer you know so you it doesn't hurt to have multiples of these but I
think a lot of fans would have preferred another stormtrooper or another you know
fully armored and helmeted white based trooper in this pack rather than that
guy or maybe rather than the immigration officer I'm not sure let me know in the
comments which of these you would rather have seen replaced with another type of
figure if you would have preferred a replacement at all if you like both of
these you think they're good inclusions let that be known - I'm interested to
see what folks think about that but you get an alternate face for one of them
not for the other it's too bad that this one has that strap built in so kind of
limits the use of that figure you need to have something that's a helmet that
comes enough down around the sides to make that kind of work to make it make
sense but that's okay it's always nice to get a second
I think that the torsos look just fine they are well printed they are well
produced so pretty good stuff there and then here are the two technically not
stormtroopers they are technically Patrol troopers but they look basically
like stormtroopers with just a different color scheme for the helmet this is the
newer style of helmet the newer mold for the solo movie in particular which I
feel kind of tries to create a connection between the original trilogy
design and what we saw in rogue one for the scarf troopers and the short
troopers in such you know with that extra forehead extension just a little
bit of common design DNA they're really nice torso prints I think the hip prints
are fine they're just a little bit off set leg prints are okay not great helmet
prints very very nice I like all the small details like how crisp the Lions
are I like the use of the grays and the blacks together and not either/or goes
all the way around the back really good coverage good opacity I feel like that
color scheme works nicely you know to bring in something that's different it's
not just white but still is very very compatible with even the most classic of
Star Wars stuff so I feel like this is you know nicely synergistic it doesn't
try to take things in a different direction offer something new without
without killing the past if you will I wish that they would offer something new
though for the faces rather than angry clone and angry clone and angry clone an
angry clone and angry clone and angry yeah the builds in these battle packs
are usually just kind of side things and in some cases they kind of strike me as
just extra parts that you can use to make something of your own or to add to
your own other sets but here this is something that if if the solo movie ends
up being good I think a lot of people will want to hold on to for quite some
time and might even want to have like a couple of those just pose you know
somewhere in a little display they actually look kind of nice and
again it's it's basically minifigs scaled here which is unusual to get I
mean it's it's hard enough to get proper minifig scaled stuff from Lego as it is
but yeah this this really stands out as a bill even though it is a little bit
simple could use a little more detailing but I think that's nice these troopers
are done very nicely let me know what you think about these - I would like to
have seen one of them replaced for this the more I think about it maybe it would
have been this one because of just the the limited applications in in stories
that people would make up for themselves in addition to kind of the limited use
in in the movies that said though when I was a kid I really liked the Death Star
troopers which you know looked very similar to this because they just looked
cool to me so again that's very subjective let me know what you think
but that's it for this review hope I did ok showed you which one at seat I'll
talk to you in soon

Is ADHD Real? – Difference in the ADHD Brain - Duration: 6:26.Sometimes it makes me want to cry when a patient tells me all of my life I
thought I was stupid because I couldn't keep up with other people I never knew
that I had a problem a real problem that could be helped.
Well a ADD is a real problem that can be helped and that's what I'm going to talk
about in this video. I'm dr. Tracey Marks, a psychiatrist and
this is part of a series that I'm actually going to be doing on attention
deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD. People will use the term ADD which is
the same thing it's just easier to say. So that's what I'm gonna say but it
really is the same thing. In this video I'm talking about ADD as a bona fide
neurological disorder. ADD is considered a neuropsychiatric disorder which means
it has both mental and behavioral manifestations, but it's also associated
with malfunctioning neural circuits in the brain. We still don't know exactly
the places in the brain where the circuits are malfunctioning, but we've
seen enough evidence to conclude that there's definitely a disconnect between
the way the brain functions in your frontal lobes and your posterior or back
part of your brain. The frontal lobes are responsible for what's called executive
functioning. This is stuff like planning working memory emotional control and
organization. The main cause of ADD is genetic, so if you have a parent with the
disorder it doesn't automatically mean that you will have it, but you have a
greater risk of developing it. Another cause is what we call prenatal or
perinatal insults we call them but these are things that can happen during
pregnancy or even during the birth process. Some examples of this are things
like cigarette smoking during pregnancy, using alcohol during pregnancy or even
having a traumatic birth that results in loss of oxygen. An interesting cause that
I saw was maternal anxiety during pregnancy. Not sure why that's the case
but other things like infection illnesses after birth those are also
associated with developing ADHD. So all in all ADHD is seen as a problem that
occurs during brain development both before and after birth. Here's a study
that showed that there's a three year lag in brain development in children
with ADD. Kids with ADD have lower brain volumes until around age 16. So this is
something real. It's not just bad behavior or laziness. I saw a parent of a
college student who had been struggling most of her life in school, but by the
time she got to college it had become really bad and she was starting to fail classes.
So I prescribed her medication. Her mother came to talk to me because she
didn't believe her daughter needed to take medication to do well in school.
She felt like she just needs to buckle down and get it together. Furthermore she
felt like this was something that we only see in America and they don't she
doesn't have - there's no such thing as ADD in her country. Well my
response was, your daughter has a problem and you can either let her get
treatment and thrive or let her fail because you don't believe that this is
something real and it's only for Americans. So her daughter took the
prescription. She didn't immediately start taking the medication though
because she didn't have the support at home. She didn't feel good about taking
it when her parents really weren't behind her on that. But after enough F's she
finally started taking the medication. And she told me that after she started
taking it it was like someone just turned on the lights. A completely
different learning experience. So finally she was able to
attend long enough to take in the information, process it
and then retrieve it later when she needed it. And that's what a normal
thought process is. But when someone has ADD, there's interruptions in that
train of thought that make it hard for them to process information the way
they're supposed to. I use this illustration because I think this is
unfortunately the sentiment of many people. I think it's even more apparent
when the main manifestation of ADD is hyperactivity. It's very easy to just
look at that as a child without home training. ADD begins in childhood and
usually the symptoms show themselves somewhere around school-age. You may
notice hyperactivity in your toddler, but this can be hard to distinguish between
variations in behavior at that age. So it'll become more obvious when the child
starts school and there's more requirements with learning and more
requirements with following rules. About two-thirds of children continue to have
ADD symptoms into adulthood. The brain chemicals involved in ADD are include
norepinephrine and dopamine and I'll talk more about symptoms in other videos
but broadly speaking it's defined as inattention, hyperactivity and
impulsivity. These symptoms look differently in children than they do
adults. In children they usually show up as trouble keeping up with their
schoolwork or having behavioral problems. Some children only have the attention
problems and they're not hyperactive. With an adult, you can see frequent job
changes, work problems, marital problems, more speeding violations and car
accidents than you would with people who don't have ADHD stay tuned for an
upcoming video on symptoms that look like ADD but aren't really ADD
Thanks for watching

hey you know if you're a person who cares more about comfort than about what

Episode 29 - What Should You Do - Inclusion? | PACERTalks About Bullying - Duration: 5:31.>> Hey everyone!
Welcome back to PACER Talks About Bullying.
I'm Bailey.
We're glad you're here.
[ Music ]
Today we're wrapping up our monthly theme of inclusion.
In this week's episode, we are so excited to be at Meadow Ridge Elementary School
for another installment of What Should You Do?
Just to give you a quick recap in What Should You Do?, we give students real life scenarios
about bullying and have them think through what options they could take
and what's the impact for everyone involved.
Now imagine this.
Several months into the school year a new student named John joins your class.
After a few days, it's obvious that your classmates aren't being very nice to him.
One day during group activities you see that John is being left out on purpose.
One student is even going up to your other classmates saying,
hey, don't let him join your group.
This really bothers you.
You want to invite John to join your group but are worried that other kids
in your class will then exclude you as well.
So what should you do?
>> So the first option is decide that it's not your problem and do nothing.
John will be ok.
>> It'd probably make him feel bad because he already has a lot of people
that are excluding him and one more would just make the problem worse.
>> I think it would make him feel worse that nobody is going to help him.
If I, it would like make the other kids feel even more powerful.
>> As we can see from these great responses in option one, when you do nothing, nothing changes
and it can potentially get worse.
Now let's see what students have to say about option number two.
>> Next option is that you could talk privately with your teacher
and explain how John is being left out on purpose.
How do you think this would help John if you talked with a teacher about it?
>> I think John would feel welcomed.
>> Mm-hmm.
>> And he might have a friend.
I think that would be ok with the teacher
because then the teacher is a teacher so they should help others.
>> It could help John by giving him people to be in groups with and then your friends won't not
like you because the teacher probably wouldn't go ahead and say this exact person said this.
>> Involving an adult can be another great option
because they can help get support for John.
Now let's see what students have to say about option number three.
>> So option three is you could decide that even though it bothers you,
it's just easier to go along with everyone else.
You tell others not to let John in their group.
So how do you think this would make you feel?
>> I think I would feel like really, like sad about myself and I would be disappointed
and I would, because if I were John then I would literally feel so sad and frustrated and lonely.
>> If I didn't join in, then John wouldn't have any friends and he just, it,
and the playground sure not play with anybody while he watched other kids play
with each other.
Then I would feel disappointed on myself and not helping John.
>> This scenario really shows that bullying has an impact for everyone involved,
especially those that are witnessing it.
Your actions can make a difference, not only for those involved
in the scenario but for you as well.
Now let's see what students have to say about option number four.
>> So option four is even though some kids might make fun of you or try to leave you out,
your invite John to be in your group.
How do you think this would make you feel?
>> I would let John play with me and my friends and really get to know him
and like tell other people that he's not, that he can still play like,
and imagine what if you were the new kid and you were left out.
I would like help him and convince other kids to be nice to the new kids
and treat them as you want to be treated.
>> It would make me feel happy and because I included John and it would just feel
so much better than to not include him in the group and just leave him
and just like not do anything about it.
I would rather include him in the group and be happy about it.
I think John would feel happy that now he has a group to go in and he can play
and he doesn't have to like be the person who you had to go away from
and like not bother about, and yeah.
>> As we've heard from these amazing students, it's not always easy to do something,
but there are so many benefits when you do,
everything from supporting a student experiencing bullying to making a new friend.
Now to wrap this video up, we want to hear from you.
What do you think you should do?
Comment down below.
This wraps up the month of March and our videos about inclusion,
but we have some really exciting things planned for April
as our new theme is students with solutions.
We'll see you right back here next week.
And remember, together we can help create a world without bullying.
See you!

Self Discovery Exercise | Personal Inspirations Map 🌼 - Duration: 6:53.Hey everyone!
Welcome back to Lavendaire.
Today I want to share a quick and easy self discovery exercise that you can use to learn more about yourself
and uncover the potential that you have within.
This is something that I did last night.
I was re-inspired to share this exercise again.
I shared another version of this exercise, but I'll talk about that later.
This version is focusing on the people that you admire and love and respect,
and analyzing why you love and respect them so much.
What do you admire about these idols that you have in your life?
It doesn't have to be a famous person.
It could be real people in your life.
Just jotting down the name and break down the characteristics and traits about why you
love this person so much.
You guys may know that recently I've been obsessed with watching Hyori's Bed and Breakfast on Netflix.
That's like my favorite show right now, and it's essentially about Kpop star Hyori
who opens up her big island home to guests, sort of like an Airbnb.
And she has a kitchen staff who's also another Kpop star named IU.
I'm still on season 1, so it's IU.
And I've just loved watching them for their personalities.
That show's really inspiring me creatively and as an artist, just to observe other artists,
listen to their conversations.
So I've been binging the show, but also watching their interviews just to get to know
more about Hyori and IU.
I just realize how much I love and respect them.
I see so much of myself in them.
The key with this exercise is: After you list out all the people you admire and break down
the traits of why you admire them,
it's time to look at what you wrote and realize that everything you wrote down is something
that you have within,
whether it's something that you're practicing now, something you value.
Or it's something that you have deep within that wants to be brought out more,
something that you want to live out in your real life.
It's pretty simple when you think about it, because when there's someone you admire,
you admire them for their qualities and traits and you admire those traits because those
are the traits of your ideal person.
You think ideal people should have those types of traits.
You wouldn't see it in them if you didn't have it in yourself.
So see this exercise as a way to find clues in ways to bring out more of your true self
and bring out more of your greatest potential,
because you have the potential to be all of these amazing things that you admire.
It really is within you.
So going back to my journaling session last night, why I love and admire Hyori, I love
her carefree spirit.
I feel like she's matured as an artist, to the point where she stopped caring as much
about material things and surface level stuff, and she is more soulful.
She does yoga.
She doesn't care what anyone thinks.
She's super confident.
She knows what she wants.
She's a very strong personality,
and yet she has a very joyful, fun, and funny side to her, all of which I really admire
and love.
And so it gives me a clue that I can bring out more of those sides of me.
I can definitely bring out more confidence and have more fun, and be more funny in life.
Just little things like this, everything that you admire.
It's kind of funny because the other girl on the show, IU, she's kind of opposite of Hyori,
and yet I really relate to her as well.
I love her because she's so sweet, she's kind.
She's genuinely a nice person.
And I like that she's super humble.
On the show, she's so humble, so regular, that I didn't realize how big of a star she was.
When you watch videos of her singing, she turns into another goddess.
And to me it's really cool when someone's really humble and yet has so much talent and
is a true artist, so I really respect that.
At the same time, I love that IU has a quirky sense of fashion.
There's this funny episode where IU and Hyori are shopping.
And IU is choosing all these ugly clothes, these weird patterns and baggy t-shirts, just
weird clothes that aren't typically cute for girls in Korea.
And Hyori's making fun of her for choosing those clothes.
But I just love that she's so strong in her sense of style, even though it's so different
from everyone else.
She's definitely original and she's not afraid to be herself and pick the stuff that she likes.
So now I encourage you all to try out this simple exercise.
Just analyze why you admire the people you admire,
and realize that you have those traits in yourself as well, and they're just asking
to be brought out even more.
I've also shared a similar version of this exercise before.
You can actually use this to apply to people that you envy.
I know a lot of us sometimes have social media envy, where you're seeing someone else's life
and you're admiring their photos and their lifestyle.
You can also do this with those people as well.
Jot down why you feel gravitated and attracted to these people, why you envy these people.
It's a way to turn a negative feeling into something positive for your own life.
Realize that whatever you're attracted to, it's because you have that same thing in you.
It's just being reflected off someone else.
(Very loud car.)
Another fun thing you could do is create a mind-map of your personal inspirations.
Put yourself at the center and then draw out in little nodules all the people who have
inspired you or influenced you in your life.
And from there, you can draw out the people who inspire them to kind of expand it.
I got this idea from something I did in the past called the "Creative Family Tree".
It was when I was kind of trying to discover myself as a songwriter.
I was creating a family tree of all the people who creatively inspire me in music, all the
songwriters and producers I want to sound like.
"I want to be a blend of this person and this person and this person."
It's just a fun, visual way to outline all your inspirations and see how you are a blend
of all of these different influences
and how you kind of fit in, in this big creative map.
So yeah, let me know if these exercises spark some inspiration in you.
I'd love to hear your answers as well.
So comment below with at least one person you're inspired by or someone you admire and love,
and then break down all the traits of why you admire and love that person so much.
And I will know that those are the traits that you have within yourself as well.
By the way, I also have this worksheet on journaling prompts for self discovery.
If you haven't downloaded it yet, I'll put the link in the description below,
as well as links to more videos and playlists related to these self discovery exercises.
Alright, have a beautiful day.
Love you so much.
Bye!
