The Fulltone Collection for AmpliTube

brings you the classic and sought-after

sound of three of the best hardware

effects from the legendary Californian manufacturer.

The Fulltone Collection includes the TERC tri-stereo chorus,

the Solid State Tape Echo

and the OCD overdrive pedal models

for an essential pallette of sounds

that span from classic to contemporary tones

that you can now use directly on Mac or PC.

That 80s Rack Chorus is based on the original hard-to-find

Dyno My Piano unit and heard on

countless hit records.

The TERCgives you the same lush, huge, and elegant chorus

that made the sound of the 80s and was

the centerpiece in the racks of the

world's top session guitarists such as

Michael Landau, Steve Lukather, Dann Huff,

and many others.

Solid State Tape Echo captures the full essence, warmth, and vibe

of Fulltone's iconic tape echo.

Now you can take advantage of the authentic

quirks of magnetic tape to add that

unmistakable harmonic saturation and

analog flavor to your sound.

The OCD: Obsessive Compulsive Distortion

Bursting with grit, edge, and punch,

it reproduces the same touch sensitivity,

warmth, and complex harmonics of quality tube amps.

It's the icing on the cake

that makes the Fulltone collection

perfect for all genres and styles of music.

The Fulltone Collection for AmpliTube

Now available from the IK Multimedia online store

and from the AmpliTube Custom Shop

ILLUSTRATOR TYPOGRAPHY ART WALK THROUGH (Speed Art With Commentary) - Duration: 5:54.

what's up people, Tom back

again satori graphics today a speed art

video but what it is the difference I

decided to put some commentary with up

so I hope you enjoy this format so i

started off buying using a generic front

handwritten bond and i normally would

use my wacom tablet and I'm dilla hand

lettering myself but I didn't have much

time because I didn't bogged down with a

lot of graphic design work at the moment

so i just took her phone that seems you

know places to hang my dreams I could

get I'm i took the phrase don't take

life so seriously so then I went ahead

and I in group the be individual asses

and outline the stroke so I could edit

them individually I was going to use a

white kind of grey style photography on

top of the color background so I

converted it all to wife number two

technique here quickly if you grab the

pencil and you imagine this beams going

across the EA here no the L sorry you

then imagine where I was going to go

with the past came together and you cut

out by using the path finder window here

you might have some front and now there

is no shape over there it's actually cut

out so it looks like the key is coming

across the oh I went ahead and did that

for every single letter which can get a

bit repetitive and it is tedious but

sometimes our work on the computer can

be tedious for these final comes great

so doesn't matter also a few whole

impress inter with the pencil the LX

comes up so you can be more precise with

where you're selecting the pencil in the

past sometimes I use less than some shit

to get to do it with yourself and if you

do enjoy this format where I'm talking

over my speed up process let me know in

the comment section below and don't

forget to subscribe for future uploads

she knew here welcome I have tutorials

on Tuesday speed as it is on Thursday

and my uploads bonus video on a Sunday

here I'm starting to experiment with a

new technique haven't used before

actually what I wanted to give a kind of

a shading little nervous so I use the

pencil to create a path over the letter

I'm going to add a gradient where one

side is a kind of dark gray and the

other side is actually invisible just

kind of blend in well here I'm just

adjusting the direction of the gradient

just playing around the boss and a work

actually it is take some getting used to

it's tiny edge and I have seen it before

on other people's always or something

similar anyway I wanted to try and play

figure it out for myself hopefully next

time I tried a technique I'm gonna have

more time so i will make the hand

lettering myself I don't think it's much

of a cop out that users on anyway my

last two videos have been hakson adobe

illustrator there's been really well

responded actually and i'm thinking of

making a series out of them thanks in

photoshop and illustrator let me know if

you want me to continue making these

facilities

I'm zoomed forward a bit here so I've

gone ahead and added the technique in a

lot of the areas of this design already

this is where I've gone into Photoshop

and I'm just starting to prepare my

background of course that's going to be

red matching with the branding of my

channel of my logos Authority graphics

I'm playing with the blending modes here

try and clear i was going to get for my

design I wanted a textured background

but I was not so detailed and I went to

the corners in the edge to become black

or dark at least in the end I finally

decided to turn on 90 degrees

horizontally landscape you can see the

drop shadow in Photoshop was going to be

very crucial to making my design oh and

look really great i love using this

technique where I take the design I

enlarge it and lower the patient in the

background I don't know why but I always

leave this for my photography designs

I wanted to put a lighting effect really

set off as the design and make it seem

kind of 3ds and the light goes from the

left I think it works really well in the

end actually so let me know in the

comment section below what do you think

about this typography art work in

Illustrator until next time design your

feature today peace

Beginner Flute lessons - Duration: 3:55.

Hi, I'm Rebecca Fuller the expert on this youtube channel as well as at Learn Flute

Online dot com, with the largest collection of online flute lessons are in perfect learning

order from beginner to advanced.

Today we're going to talk about what kinds of skills are taught in beginner flute lessons.

First, let's define the word 'beginner'.

There's a true beginner or 'novice' - and that's someone who has never played

the flute before or is in the very beginning stages.

In this stage we'll be learning how to: Take care of our instrument - there's more

to it than you'd think

How to assemble and disassemble the flute properly- so we don't hurt it How to hold

and balance the flute (which is the trickiest part at first for sure)How to not only blow,

but to use our tongue inside our mouth the way a flutist should in order to get super

good tone… even as a beginner.

We can do it.

I'll show you how.

We'll be learning how to read the basics of flute sheet music as well as

Finding, playing, and separating the first few notes on the instrument in the easiest

way a flute should be learned in.

After we get past these first few days or weeks, we're ready to move into the beginner

stage of flute playing, and we'll be learning a LOT more about the fundamentals of music.

These skills layered upon one another are like building blocks that make everything

else possible.

For example: Folk tunes are simple and fun, but did you

know that there is flute specific articulation we need to learn?

Yes, this fancy word articulation is super important because it's one of the things

that separates the flute from other instruments like a guitar or a piano.

I'll teach you all about it After the folk level, we will have built hundreds

of skills already so that you'll be comfortable moving into a middle beginner range.

We'll be playing some Minuets and other types of music that challenge and teach you

how to play with longer phrases and more comprehensive fingerings.

This is the foundation you need so that you can play any type of music on the planet that

you want to.

Perhaps Jazz or Gospel music as well as pop and rock without frustration.

Now, there is an upper-beginner stage as well, and it never ends.

We get into simple trills, we learn ALL of the basic rhythms that make up almost all

music for the rest of your life,

and also learn to use tools to help us play with a steady beat and super clear tone

Well, I hope this gives you an idea of how much fun beginner flute lessons will be, and

I'll tell you they are especially awesome when you can learn at your own pace, on your

own schedule, in your own home like you can with the Learn Flute Online - flute lesson

programs.

Come on over to Learn Flute Online dot com, and join the membership area, where you'll

find all of these things mentioned here in this video and literally tons tons more!

I'm Rebecca Fuller inviting you to subscribe to this youtube channel and hop on over to

Do My Own Lawn Care - Episode 8 - How to Get Rid of Moss - Duration: 8:56.

Pretty sure this is going to be a regular thing!

I'm also pretty sure I've mentioned this in ever episode so far.

And you either love it, and have it growing in ornament hanging on your lamp in your office...

You know who you are!

...or you absolutely hate it and can't stand the sight of it!

And I tend to be the latter part of that statement.

I'm talking of course about all the moss in the back yard.

But why is the moss even growing back here?

Let's dive into that!

Factor number one why moss tends to grow, too much shade.

Even now you get an indication of how much shade happens back here.

Because of our lovely jungle.

Pretty sunrise though!

The jungle is definitely casting a lot of shade over on this portion of the yard.

But these Bradford Pears were the main source of the problem.

Again, if you look at my neighbors yard, its just bare dirt and moss as well because these

Bradford Pears were just overgrown and out of control.

So trimming those back is going to help get more air flow and sunlight into this portion

of the yard, which also brings up a good point, you want to trim back your trees and your

bushes that cause excess shade on the lawn.

Areas that tend to get less than six hours of sunlight, either direct or indirect, or

more likely to have a moss problem, like what we have over here on this side of the yard

and in the back.

Another factor contributing to the moss problem, look at the way my yard is.

I'm slopping down here and I'm slopping down away from the jungle.

SO whenever it rains, all that water tends to gather in the middle, which is causing

me to have way to much water back here.

And it's the same issue over here on this side of the yard.

My drive way and yard slope down from here and gradually slopes from the neighbors yard

and their property into this flat surface right here.

So all that water gathers and just puddles right here.

So it's just way to much and that's why we have a lot of moss growing over here.

Another reason why you probably got moss growing, the soil is really compacted.

So we have to rake all of this stuff out of here, then try to kill off whatever we have

left, and then we'll go and aerate and loosen up the soil so that we can try and eliminate

this problem.

Some of the ways I can try and control some of the moss back here is I could bring in

some more top soil or dirt and try and change the grade or the elevation, or add in some

french drains to just try and really drain a lot of the water that collects back here.

Also performing the soil test that we did earlier will tell us if the soil back here

is overly acidic which helps contribute to moss growth.

So that will also tell us what kind of fertilizers or amendments we need to put into the back

portion of this yard to try and get the grass to thrive instead of the moss.

Another little fun fact about moss is it tends to grow in cool, wet seasons, which is also

the perfect time to try and kill and get rid of it.

I could try to keep spraying some stuff on it to try and kill it, but there's really

one good way to really get it out of my yard.

Good old fashioned elbow grease!

Well it didn't take long for that to get old, so...time to but out something with a little

bit more muscle!

Now we're talking!

I would be a huge, huge liar if I said that was easy.

That was hard!

It just dawned on me that I didn't really go over the tools that I used to get the moss

out.

I started out with this rake right here.

This one is mainly used for loosening and leveling soil.

But I wanted to use it because it's nice and stiff and really hard and made of steel, and

a fiberglass handle.

This one, that's your general purpose rake, it's cheap, it's plastic, it's got a wood

handle on it.

I used this to just kind of gather up everything once it's already loosened.

As I already stated in the video, the rake got old really really quick, and I was just

getting really worn out.

So I went and rented what they call a power rake.

And it's exactly that, it's a rake that's powered.

It did a really good job of just scraping and cutting the moss out of the yard.

And all I had to do is go back with my cheap plastic rake, and just gather all of the moss

up into a pile, bad it up and throw it away.

So here is where we're at!

A large majority of it has been taken out.

There's still a few patches that were kind of stubborn and don't want to come up but

I've got something for that.

But, overall, I'm pleased.

A lot of hard work, but it was worth it.

You can see right here, there's still some that just didn't want come up.

Here's the left side of the yard where the Bradford Pears are.

A lot of it is gone.

A lot of it!

But there's still tiny little patches that remain.

My little friend right here and his companion are going to help take care of the rest.

What I've got here is a product made specifically to kill moss.

Now before you spray something like this, you want to try and rake out as much of it

as you can.

Anything that's left over gets this treatment.

This stuff will stain concrete, so use caution!

If you do have to spray up along side your sidewalks or your driveway, grab some cardboard

or something like that to protect it, and then simply spray!

That way when you spray you're not getting anything onto your driveway or sidewalk, it's

hitting your cardboard.

That seriously took all day to tackle that problem!

But that's OK, that's what Do My Own Lawn Care is all about.

This isn't the end of the moss saga.

I'm going to have to go back there and rake out what's left, after the moss killer has

had a chance to do what it does best...kill moss!

Unless I change the grade back there, so that water doesn't collect or create better irrigation

so that it can drain out of those areas, it probably will return.

I'll try as hard as I can to keep it under control and keep it out of there so that grass

can take over and start to grow in those areas.

After a very very long day of raking and spraying, that's it for this one.

I hope you found that helpful and I hope I answered a lot of questions on how to get

rid of moss in the yard.

Tall Tale TV Presents:

Rain

Written by Kathy Steinemann Narrated by Christopher Herron

Bristi fled into a deep darkness that looked like a cave.

Lightning ripped through the black sky.

Flesh-eating rain pelted the ground, throwing up splashes that glistened with every bolt

of brilliance that lanced through the night.

A voice whispered in her ears.

Or was the voice inside her head?

Bristi.

She shivered, and her broken right wrist throbbed.

Ten days since the shuttle had crashed on this desolate moon, and she had learned that

only the careful could survive.

Tears filled her eyes as she remembered what the rain had done to Monndolor.

Monndolor, who had wanted to surprise her with a honeymoon on Zar III.

How could she say no?

Monndolor, who hadn't told her until after the crash that the landing zone was in a restricted

sector.

How could she stay angry at him?

Monndolor, with his silly smile and—

Neither of them had smiled when most of their food supply, thrown from the shuttle when

they crashed, had been consumed by the rain.

The rapacious liquid had assaulted the provisions like an acid bath, reducing it to a quivering

mass of ooze and then … nothing.

They had stayed in the shuttle until the rain stopped.

Then they set out with a makeshift umbrella fashioned from a panel of the airlock.

They hoped to find a high spot where the emergency beacon could relay their distress call.

Mother planet Zarminixia glowed large in the sky, but something in Zar III's atmosphere

blocked every attempt to communicate.

They searched for seven days.

Then the wind came up and whipped their umbrella away, carrying it through the treetops.

Monndolor chased after it and fell into a fissure.

Bristi tugged with her good arm, feet braced.

But Monndolor's leg was so firmly lodged that she was unable to pull him free.

She cursed her broken wrist.

Cursed Zar III.

Cursed the rain.

With dusk came black clouds and the smell of an impending storm.

Monndolor ordered her to take cover.

"Bristi, go.

You can't save me.

Go.

Now!"

She hesitated, gazing into her new husband's tear-filled eyes, then fled to a nearby cave

as the first drops of rain pelted his head.

One moment he was a living, breathing being.

The next he was—

Her body shook with sobs.

Now she was alone in this hostile environment.

Lost.

Low on food and water.

Monndolor.

I miss you.

I love you.

The emergency beacon in her pack was a faint glimmer of hope, but she needed to find a

place where her transmission could get through.

Until then, she was a prisoner.

The twittering sounds of alien animals announced the arrival of dawn.

Bristi hadn't been able to see them clearly, but none of the creatures she encountered

were larger than her foot.

They were mere rustles in the ground flora: bushy tails and grey, furry hindquarters skittering

away from her.

Occasionally she could see dark brown eyes peering from the underbrush.

Water gurgled nearby: water as corrosive as the rain that created it.

Bristi frowned.

How do the local plants and animals survive?

Immunity?

Different metabolic makeup?

She murmured, "What would I know?

I'm not a scientist."

Her thoughts continued to ramble as she set the emergency beacon on the floor of the cave,

sipped the last of the water in her canteen, and shook her pack upside down to remove any

food pellets she might have missed.

Just one pellet bounced out.

Do I eat it now?

Or wait?

The gnawing pain in her stomach answered her question with a demand that left little choice.

She chewed on the last pellet until it was mush, massaged it against the roof of her

mouth with her tongue for several moments, and then swallowed.

What will kill me?

Thirst?

Starvation?

Or the rain?

She decided that when she couldn't go on any longer, she'd sleep in the open and

let the rain claim her body.

That'll be faster than starvation or dying of thirst.

A quiet voice urged her.

Eat.

Drink.

She screamed.

"Get out of my head."

I'm not going crazy.

I'm not going crazy.

But as much as she decried the thought, she told herself that only a demented mind would

create the torture of a ghostly voice that followed her wherever she went.

Sometimes she missed Monndolor so much that the voice sounded like his.

Bristi pushed through scratchy underbrush, broke her fingernails on rocks, and tried

unsuccessfully to climb a tree.

No signal—anywhere.

Mid-morning, atop a hill covered with star-shaped purple flowers, she peered in all directions.

A blue peak surrounded by mist stood in the distance: the tallest point within view.

It'll take me days to reach it.

Her shoulders slumped.

A nearby rivulet trickled down the cliff, beckoning her.

Drink.

Drink.

Alien bushes enticed her with their sweet smells and branches laden with colorful berries.

Eat.

Eat.

The voices continued to haunt her, urge her.

Her chin sank to her chest.

Poison water.

Poison plants.

No, you won't get me.

I'm not giving up.

She trudged toward the peak while the sun soared higher: a merciless furnace of red

that tortured her with every step.

Her tongue swelled in the heat, and she licked her lips to moisten them, but they blistered

and bled.

She walked and fell and stumbled and crawled and crept.

Until she found herself back on the barren plateau where Monndolor had died.

Bristi knelt.

And wept.

She lapped at the few tears that fell onto the rock, but its unyielding roughness cut

into her tongue.

She lay on her side and with a sob, stared into the distance.

Her breathing slowed, and her eyelids fluttered closed.

As darkness descended, she rolled to her back, holding her shattered wrist over her heart,

and watched the gathering rainstorm while she whispered, "Monndolor.

I love you."

Bristi sensed warmth and light.

The forest and rocks glowed with an iridescence she had never noticed before.

Am I dead?

A small animal with fuzzy whiskers, tiny round ears, and wriggling nose stared at her.

It turned up its mouth with an expression that looked like a smile, then skittered backward

and twitched its fluffy grey tail above its head.

Its intelligent brown eyes glistened.

She heard the creature's thoughts.

You have returned.

A cacophony of unseen voices assaulted her.

Then a familiar whisper slipped into her consciousness.

Safe.

You're safe, Bristi.

She felt for a body that wasn't there, with fingers that no longer existed.

Tried to speak, but heard her own confused words emanate from somewhere within.

Monndolor?

Is that you?

Where are you?

What's happening to me?

The animal cocked its head.

Do not be frightened.

He is near.

Mother Rain returns what she takes, in better form.

Please follow me.
