Calling all leaders, managers, people in charge!

This is Tammy from Team Solutions talking about setting clear and effective expectations

so everyone on your team can be productive and successful. Before we get started, though,

I want to encourage you to download the tool from the link. We're going to walk through this together.

Last Video we talked about the importance of making sure your expectations are clearly

outlined before sharing them with others.

So what is the issue then?

Might be you haven't communicated your expectations effectively.

There are many different ways we can communicate expectations.

Usually we tend to communicate in the way that we best receive information.

That means if you prefer things written down – you will often send emails or notes.

If you prefer to hear things – you tend to speak to others.

The challenge comes when your method of communication doesn't match the preferred way

the other person receives information.

In addition, we often communicate expectations in an informal way.

We form our expectations as questions or worse as favors.

For example, let's say you need someone to complete some research as part of a project

you are working on.

If you ask the person, "Hey, when you get a moment can you please complete this research…

I'd really appreciate it." It's entirely possible that the other person will perceive this as

a favor and not something that needs to be prioritized.

If that is what you wanted to convey – great!

If that's not, which is usually the case, you might want to try again.

Comment below with communicate if this resonates with you.

Another thing to consider is the time and place you are communicating the expectations.

If it's in the middle of a rushed day or at a time when they are otherwise focused

on something else you may not be successful.

And finally, are you giving the expectation the appropriate level of urgency.

If it's urgent and needs to be done by a drop-dead deadline then be firm and communicate that.

Ask them what's on their plate and determine if you need to assist them with prioritizing.

By taking a moment to ensure that the appropriate level of urgency is there, you are

saving time at the end so you don't have to rush.

Here are the steps to help you be successful. 1.

What mode is the best to communicate the expectation?

Phone, in person, email, written, etc.

You should plan on 2 modes of communication.

The initial communication and then if you give an expectation particularly

in person or over the phone follow it up with an email.

Is the language you used clear?

If you are using acronyms or lingo double check that the person understands what those are.

If they don't it can have a huge impact on your results.

3.

Ask them to paraphrase back to you what you stated.

This will help you know that they understood the expectations and give you the opportunity

to clarify or answer any questions.

4.

Make sure you are communicating at a time they can focus and a place where they can

take notes or otherwise engage in the process.

In the elevator or in the conference room after a staff meeting is not the right time or place.

5.

Provide them with the context for the tasks and the appropriate level of urgency.

You will need to be consistent so that when you say something is a rush job it truly is.

If you're making everything urgent then nothing is urgent.

Or what is urgent gets done first – before other perhaps more important tasks.

Make sure they know how their tasks impact the larger goal and how they fit

into the workflow for the rest of the team.

I have shared a lot of important information.

Setting clear expectations is so important to the success of you and your team.

One thing to remember is that it's not a one and done.

You need to practice and continue to be intentional to ensure success.

To do that be sure to check in regularly!

I acknowledge that this is a BIG topic.

So where do we go from here?

First, let's revisit those initial assumptions you had in the previous video.

Were they accurate?

Some great ways to check are to ask the staff that you have set the expectations for.

Ask staff questions such as -did you get what you needed?

-did you get stuck? --did you feel that you received appropriate supervision?

This kind of feedback can help you hone your skills

and also sets the stage for continuous growth and learning.

Still, what if you feel you did everything right?

Well, then you have a scenario where you need to support development and learning through staff

coaching or you may need to move into performance management mode.

Mask Stencils - WOW It's So Easy to Add Colour! - Duration: 6:17.

HI it's Therese from Lostinpaper and I'm going to share with you just how

easy it is to add color using one of the Altenew mask stencils

So the stencil that I'm using today is called Dotted blooms, so it coordinates

with a stamp and a die set as well and these stencils are very unique in the

fact that they're made out of a thinner material and you get the negative and

the positive portions of the stencil now today I'm going to be using the negative

portion to add color to my images. so I'm using my Misti and I have got the

creative corner in there because I want to overlap my stamp off the edge of my

cardstock I'm using some spicy yogurt card

stock from Altenew and this has sort of a fleck through it so when you're

using different colored cardstock other than white it does pay to check the

colors that are going to be using off to the side because they will interact

differently on different colored card stocks and on different textures I

didn't want a black outline for my flower today I want something a little

bit more subtle so I have the rocky shore color and I'm stamping this out

now this is a water-based ink and I am going to be doing some blending and I

didn't want it to react again so how I'm getting around that is I'm actually

adding a second layer of stamping over the top in some embossing ink and

then simply just to come in with some clear and it's the crystal clear

embossing powder from Altenew and add a clear layer over top so that's gonna

actually have stamped in exactly the same place although did you see I put my

finger in it concentrating I forgot I'd even added it

but it worked it did it worked seriously so I'm adding the same image yet again

and just to move my image around without contaminating my cardstock panel I use a

piece of acetate to protect it I'm doing exactly the same process stamping it

with the rocky shores stamping it with the embossing ink adding the clear

embossing powder and then heat setting it and did warp a little so I ran it

through my die-cutting machine just with a normal sandwich just to help it

sit straight again so now it's time to add color it's time for the fun bit and

I couldn't believe how easy this was so these images are cut perfectly to fit

the flowers these this one like it's just they're made for it obviously

they're made for it and to line them up was very easy to add the color was very

easy you could probably use whatever blending tool you have finger dauber,

blending sponges but I've got one of the

life changing thingies and I like it and I'm actually I

initially started coloring adding the color with the swipes but I found that

was better just to pounce I got I can keep the center of my flowers a little

bit paler and one great thing I found is I could actually is it easily lift away

the stencil and then replace it in exactly the same spot so I don't know if

you've ever tried using stamp masking paper and making a negative a negative

image so you can do this kind of technique it's a pain and it's sticky

and you can never get in the right spot and you always end up with white or

colored edges where you don't want to and this was just so easy I really

enjoyed it to the point that actually came in and added a second color I

didn't need to but I thought I might as well try it so use the the pink pearl as

my base color and then what I do is come in with the Rouge which is sort of a

similar color but a darker tone and just added that more on the edges because I'd

embossed the images too I just used a paper towel to dab away the excess ink

that might be sitting on top of the embossed embossing that sounds right

doesn't it and how pretty is this flower but I'm

having fun here and they've got quite a few options too Altenew have a few

different stamp sets that coordinate with mask stencils and I tricked you

didn't I you thought this was going to be a

landscape card but it's gonna be a portrait card now, it was going to be a

landscape card I promise, I had all good intentions but I got to this point and I

found this sentiment and I had to do this so I am changing it up on the fly

as you do so I stamped an espresso sentiment from the sweet friend set I

did have to selectively stamp that out adding this to the front of my card and

then I can stick a sweet wood veneer word on top

How to Turn Photos into Cartoon Effect - Photoshop Tutorial - Duration: 7:57.

Hi. In this tutorial, you will learn how to convert photos, into a cartoon effect in Photoshop.

This also is created with the same method.

Let's get started!

First of all, Go and check your image size.

Make sure that, one of the Width or Height is 2000 pixels.

You should change your image size, since filters depends on the image resolution.

Now, with you layer selected, Duplicate it once with CTRL+J.

Grab your Quick Selection Tool from the tools panel.

Start selecting your object.

From the Options Panel, grab the (-) Selection tool, to subtract from selection.

Get back to the (+) Selection tool.

You can switch between the (+) and (-) Selection Tools, by holding the ALT key.

Enhance your selection as much as you can.

Hold BACKSPACE and drag, to move inside your canvas like me.

Hold ALT key, and subtract this part from your selection.

You can control the brush size, by using the Bracket keys [ , ].

Now, With you layer selected, Click on the mask icon to create a layer mask from your selection.

Now, Right-click the mask and choose Refine Mask

Change view if you want.

I will choose Black view.

Increase Smooth and Contrast.

Also, Increase Radius a little bit.

Then, click OK.

Now, we have enhanced our selection.

Select the "Background" layer, and create a solid color Layer.

Change color to white.

Grab the Pen Tool.

From the Option Panel, Change to shape.

Remove the Stroke.

Add change Fill color to any color you want.

In my case, I will use this yellow color, ffff29.

Now, start drawing a wavy shape like this, with the pen tool.

Now, Select all the 3 layers, then right-click and choose, Convert to Smart Object.

Now, Select "Layer 1", then, duplicate it 2 times with CTRL+J

Make "layer 1" only visible.

Select "Layer 1", and choose Filter Gallery, from the Filter Menu.

Under Artistic folder choose Poster Edge.

Change Values to 0, 0, and 2.

Then click OK.

Since we are working with smart objects, the filter will be applied as a smart filter.

With your same layer selected, go to Filter, Sharpen, and choose Unsharp Mask.

This will add some sharpening to our image.

Keep Amount Value at 90%, with 5 Pixels Radius, and 10 Threshold.

Then click OK.

Now, go to Filters, and choose Oil Paint Filter.

In some Photoshop versions, you can find the oil Paint, under Stylize filters.

Now, Select Oil Paint.

Make Stylization 4.

Cleanliness 3.

and Scale 0.1 .

and keep all other values 0.

then click OK.

Again, with your layer selected, apply the Unsharp Mask.

But, this time, decrease amount to 60%. and Threshold to 5.

Double-click the layer's text to rename.

Now select the second layer, and unhide it.

Go to Filter, then choose Filter Gallery.

Under Artistic, choose Poster Edges.

Change values to 0, 3, and 6.

Then click OK.

Again, with the same layer selected, go to oil paint filter.

keep values the same, and click OK.

Change Blend Mode to Overlay.

and change the Opacity to 25%.

As you can see, This will add some extra outlines.

Collapse the layer.

Change name to "Outlines".

Change the last layer's name to "High Pass".

Make it visible, then select it.

Go to High Pass filter.

Change Radius to 2, then click OK.

Change Blend Mode to Overlay.

As you can see, This will add an extra little Details.

Let's add some adjustment layers.

Add Levels.

Adjust Levels sliders, depending on your image.

That's Great!

Now, Add a Vibrance Layer.

Adjust Vibrance and Saturation as you want.

Also, add a Color Lookup layer.

From the drop down menu, choose 3strip dot look.

Change Opacity to 50%.

Group all layers, and let's see the before & after.

In honor of Valentine's Day, that nice little spot

in mid-February where we buy chocolates and roses

and sex toys for each other,

in honor of a third-century Roman priest,

we're taking a look at a subject

that most modern lovers tend to overlook,

enjoying a romantic meal in the

friendly confines of your local fast-food restaurants.

I know what you're thinking out there, people,

"Hey man, how am I supposed to catch a break

from Cupid's arrow if my hair ends up smelling

like a deep-fryer?"

- What is that smell?

- My answer?

You're think about this all wrong, Casanova.

Fast-food restaurants are fertile breeding grounds

for love, romance, and potential breeding

if you play your cards right.

So what are some of the pros and cons of taking

your Valentine's date to a fast-food restaurant?

To handle this part, I'm gonna bring in my friend

Lee Kalpakis to gauge how she would feel

if this situation ever came up,

because I feel like I should run this idea by someone.

- Hi, I'm Lee Kalpakis.

- First pro: At Taco Bell you can literally

get 50 Double Decker tacos for $100,

which is pretty much the cost of one steak dinner for two.

It's cheap.

- Con: It's cheep.

- Pro: Fast food is a guilty pleasure.

If you take your partner to grab some greasy burgers

and shakes, aren't you just confirming

that you're super cool, not stuck up,

and willing to embrace every side of your mate,

even if it's kind of embarrassing?

- Con: Chocolate cake is a guilty pleasure too.

- OK.

- So is a really expensive cheese burger

from a nice restaurant.

- OK, I see your point.

- I mean, you can get fast food just like,

you know, any day, I think that--

- OK fine, well don't you think that

it's just kind of novel, and with the right type of person,

they might even find it funny or charming?

- You know Wil, whatever gets you through Valentine's Day.

- All right, despite what we just heard,

I'm clearly not the only one who thinks

your local fast-food outpost can be

a viable V-Day destination.

White Castle has been offering a special Valentine's Day,

well, I'd call it an extravaganza, for the past 30 years.

People eating at White Castle on this holy, sexy day,

get tablecloths, table service,

and the incredibly romantic promise of a limited edition

chocolate and strawberry smoothie.

Ah, nothing smells like romance more than some sliders

that have been cooked atop a mound of onions.

You might think this is a joke, but almost 30,000 people

came to White Castle last year for V-Day.

Though there are no records to determine if these people

were alone or not, so it's either romantic or kinda sad.

Maybe both.

Anyway, at Chick-fil-A, bless their hearts,

you can snatch up a 30-count Chick-fil-A nugget order

or a 10-count Chick-n-Minis in a heart-shaped container.

And if that doesn't get you laid, I'm not sure what will.

And if you really want to up the ante via fast-food chicken,

buy some extra nuggets so you can spell out

"I love you" on your bedsheets.

Just make sure you wash those sheets afterwards.

They're probably going to be a little greasy.

This is an excellent alternative

now that those chalky little Sweetheart things

have gone the way of Blockbuster and have slipped into

the realm of sweet, discontinued nostalgia.

Except those little hearts actually were never sweet,

in fact, they were kinda gross.

How did they last so long?

And why is everyone so obsessed with them?

But I digress.

At Dunkin', formerly known as Dunkin' Donuts,

you can purchase a whole splay

of supremely sweet heart-shaped donuts,

so you can surprise your sweetheart in bed with donuts.

Or you can always do what I did in high school

and roll up to Taco Ball with $20, a tablecloth,

a candle, one dissatisfied date, and absolutely no shame.

That's just one way to do fast-food romance right.

Question. Do you actually hear God's voice in your

daily life? People ask me that question. "Brother Bo,

how do you hear God's voice?" "There's a

decision that I have to make, and I need to hear

God's voice. How do you actually do that?" There

is a way. In this short video, I will teach you how

to hear God's voice.

You know, when I go to a restaurant and I'm

talking to someone, there's a meeting, I usually

call the waiter and beg him, you know. And ask him,

you know, very politely. Is there a way that you

could lower the volume of the music? Because

sometimes, you know, the music is great. And I love

music. And I think the staff love the music

because they're working and they need the energy.

But when there's somebody that I'm listening to

and I need to hear every word, I don't want to

exert an effort to hear the person's voice. I need

it to be easy to hear him. So what I

do is, I ask the waiter, "Can you lower the volume

of the music?" And 99% of the time,

he does. And the moment he lowers the volume of

the music, it's heaven. Because that person in

front of me can just speak in a normal tone, and

I'm able to capture every word. And it's beautiful.

My dear friend, the reason why we can't hear God's

voice is because there's too much noise in your

life. There's too much worry. Too much fear. Too

much anxiety. There's too much noise. And if

there's too much noise,

you won't able to hear God's voice

I'm going to teach you

how to lower the noise around you.

The secret is gratitude.

Yes. It's actually to set aside a specific time

during your day. And every single day, do it. Like,

it could be the moment you wake up. It could be

lunch break. It could be before you sleep, you know.

Different times where you take a break in the

office and it's supposed to be, you know. It's bad,

anyway, to keep on working and sitting down.

That's a painful lesson in my back. I

learned the hard way, you know. No. You know, every

45 minutes, you should stand up, and do something else.

It will rest your eyes. It will heal,

restore your back. Anyway, why not, you know,

spend a specific time where you break your work

day, and you just spend it on gratitude. Here's

what happens. The moment you're grateful for the

blessings of God, just think: What are the

blessings I received today? And just start

saying, "Thank you, Lord, for that for that bus trip

to work." "Thank you, Lord, that I had this

friend of mine who called me up." "Thank you, Lord

that I was able to do

that little project first thing in the morning."

You just start thanking, thanking, thanking,

thanking. Here's what's going to happen -- The

worry and the fear goes away. The noise of the

worry and the fear goes away because gratitude

and fear cannot co-exist. Fear and worry cannot

exist at the same time in your heart. Gratitude

drives them out. Gratitude is the way to lower

down the noise around you. And when you're able to

lower down the noise, here's what's going to happen.

After you say -- Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

-- The second thing you do is, you surrender.

You start surrendering

to God your life. Your future. Your concerns. Your

problems. You just surrender it. Say, "Lord, I entrust

it into Your big hands.

You're going to hear His voice.

Sometimes God will speak a specific Word.

Sometimes He won't. You just rest, and be at peace

in His presence.

And...

Word is because you cannot hear Him. Also,

you cannot give what you do not receive. And so, today,

as you become more grateful to Him, and as you

surrender to Him all your concerns, you'll be able

to hear His voice. And you'll also be able to

speak God's voice. And that's the most beautiful

thing! When people around you will hear you speak...

It doesn't have to be, you know, quoting

scripture. No. But when you speak, people will

receive the peace of God. People will receive the

joy in the presence of God through you.

Can I pray that that will happen? That in the mighty Name

of Jesus, God will use you. So that when you speak

to your family, you speak to your friends... you're

going to be surprised. They will, in Jesus' Name, they

will hear God's voice through you. You will no

longer be mute.

And you will no longer be deaf. You will hear the

Voice of God. And you will be able to speak the

voice of God to the people around you. And you will

receive blessing, and grace, and miracles. In Jesus'

Name. Amen and amen.

will hear God's voice through you. You will no

voice of God to the people around you. And you will

A 39-year-old former U.S.

Air Force counterintelligence specialist is accused of spying for Iran by sharing U.S.

defense secrets, according to a federal indictment unsealed on February 13.

Monica Elfriede Witt defected to Iran in 2013 and federal authorities say she helped Iranian intelligence services to target former fellow agents in the U.S.

intelligence community.

"Witt is also alleged to have disclosed the code name and classified mission of a U.S.

Department of Defense Special Access Program.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Witt, who remains at large," the Department of Justice said in a press release.

Witt is believed to be living in Iran.

The indictment charges her with conspiracy to deliver and delivering national defense information to representatives of the Iranian government.

The indictment also names four Iranian nationals, Mojtaba Masoumpour, Behzad Mesri, Hossein Parvar and Mohamad Parya, who are accused of "conspiracy, attempts to commit computer intrusion and aggravated identity theft, for conduct in 2014 and 2015 targeting former co-workers and colleagues of Witt in the U.S.

Intelligence Community.".

The Justice Department adds, "The Cyber Conspirators, using fictional and imposter social media accounts and working on behalf of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), sought to deploy malware that would provide them covert access to the targets' computers and networks.

Arrest warrants have been issued for the Cyber Conspirators, who also remain at large.".

Witt, a native of El Paso, Texas, served in the Air Force from 1997 to 2008.

She has also used the names Fatemah Zahra and Narges Witt.

She has been added to the FBI's most wanted list.

"Monica Witt is charged with revealing to the Iranian regime a highly classified intelligence program and the identity of a U.S.

Intelligence Officer, all in violation of the law, her solemn oath to protect and defend our country, and the bounds of human decency," Assistant Attorney General John Demers said in a statement.

"Four Iranian cyber hackers are also charged with various computer crimes targeting members of the U.S.

intelligence community who were Ms.

Witt's former colleagues.".

Demers added, "This case underscores the dangers to our intelligence professionals and the lengths our adversaries will go to identify them, expose them, target them, and, in a few rare cases, ultimately turn them against the nation they swore to protect.

hen our intelligence professionals are targeted or betrayed, the National Security Division will relentlessly pursue justice against the wrong-doers.".

Witt Told Her Handler 'I May Just Go Public With a Program & Do Like Snowden'.

Monica Witt is accused of using her experience in the U.S.

Air Force and the U.S.

intelligence community to pitch her services as a spy to an Iranian handler, according to the indictment.

She told representatives of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps she was an American military veteran and wanted to defect to Iran.

Witt appeared to be motivated by ideological beliefs and not by money.

While communicating with "Individual A," a dual U.

-Iranian citizen who appears to have been Witt's handler, she said in 2013 while discussing how she could help the Iranian government, "If all else fails, I just may go public with a program and do like Snowden :).

In June 2013, she told "Individual A" that she had gone to the Iranian embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, and "told all," according to the indictment.

She added, "They are going to get back to me on if they can help me very soon before I leave.

I told them I am down to little choices and will be traveling to other areas to request assistance.

In July 2013, she appeared to be growing frustrated, according to the indictment.

She told "Individual A," that "I just hope I have better luck with Russia at this point.

I am starting to get frustrated at the level of Iranian suspicion.".

According to the indictment, she wrote in July 2013, "I think I can slip into Russia quietly if they help me and then I can contact wikileaks from there without disclosing my location.

By August 2013, Witt had defected to Iran, according to the indictment.

Witt is accused of working with Iranian hackers beginning in late 2014 to launch a "malicious campaign" targeting her former co-workers and colleagues in the U.S.

intelligence community:.

  Specifically, (Behzad ) Mesri registered and helped manage an Iranian company, the identity of which is known to the United States, which conducted computer intrusions against targets inside and outside the United States on behalf of the IRGC.

Using computer and online infrastructure, in some cases procured by Mesri, the conspiracy tested its malware and gathered information from target computers or networks, and sent spearphishing messages to its targets.

Specifically, between Jan.

and May 2015, the Cyber Conspirators, using fictitious and imposter accounts, attempted to trick their targets into clicking links or opening files that would allow the conspirators to deploy malware on the target's computer.

According to the Justice Department press release, "In one such instance, the Cyber Conspirators created a Facebook account that purported to belong to a USIC employee and former colleague of Witt, and which utilized legitimate information and photos from the USIC employee's actual Facebook account.

This particular fake account caused several of Witt's former colleagues to accept 'friend' requests.".

Mesri was previously charged by U.S.

authorities with a hacking operation that targeted HBO.

The Iranian hackers stole scripts for unaired episodes of season 6 of "Game of Thrones" and tried to extort the network's executives for $6 million.

She Traveled to Iran in 2012 to Attend a Conference That Condemned 'American Moral Standards' & Promoted 'Anti-U.S.

Propaganda'.

According to the Department of Justice, Monica Witt was an active duty U.S.

Air Force Intelligence Specialist and Special Agent of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, until she left the military in 2008.

She enlisted in 1997.

Witt also spent time as a DOD contractor until 2010.

"During her tenure with the U.S.

government, Witt was granted high-level security clearances and was deployed overseas to conduct classified counterintelligence missions," the Justice Department said in a press release.

In February 2012, Witt traveled to Iran to attend the Iranian New Horizon Organization's "Hollywoodism" conference, "an IRGC-sponsored event aimed at, among other things, condemning American moral standards and promoting anti-U.S.

propaganda," according to the press release.

While at the conference, Witt appeared in videos in which she identified herself as a U.S.

veteran and made statements critical of the U.S.

government, "knowing these videos would be broadcast by Iranian media outlets," according to the indictment.

She was warned by the FBI that she was a target for recruitment by Iranian intelligence services in May 2012.

Witt told the FBI that if she ever went back to Iran, she would refuse to provide any information about her intelligence work.

The Treasury Department has issued sanctions against the New Horizon Organization, saying it:.

Miramar Florida police say they have arrested and charged YNW Melly in connection with a double murder.

He turned himself in to Florida authorities Wednesday. .

The up-and-coming SoundCloud rapper from South Florida was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the October 2018 killings of two men who have been reported to have been close friends of Melly.

Also charged with two counts of first-degree murder is 20-year-old Cortlen Henry, the rapper known as YNW Bortlen.

The men that were killed last fall, Christopher Thomas Jr., 19, and Anthony Williams, 21, were also rappers or aspired to be.

Thomas went by the stage name YNW Juvy.

Williams was known as YNW Sakchaser.

       . "Jamell Demons, a.k.a.

YNW Melly & Cortlen Henry have been arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

The victims, Anthony Williams & Christopher Thomas Jr., were killed on 10/26/2018.

The investigation, supported by forensic evidence, has concluded that Demons shot and killed Williams & Thomas Jr.

and that Demons and Henry staged the crime scene to resemble a drive-by shooting," police tweeted.

Henry was arrested in Texas in January and transferred to Broward County Tuesday, Feb.

12 and held without bond for now.

The Sun-Sentinel reported, that "no bond was set at Henry's first court appearance Wednesday because both the state attorney and defense attorney were granted a 24-hour postponement to become more familiar with the case.".

According to reports from the time, Thomas and Williams were driven by someone to an area hospital's ER and were pronounced deceased.

As was reported, Williams and Thomas had recently moved to Miramar, Florida from a nearby city and were said to be acquainted or perhaps close friends of Melly's.

Police now say that based on "further investigation, supported by forensic evidence," they determined that Demons aka Melly, "shot and killed Williams and Thomas Jr.

Melly Spoke to His Fans on Instagram Saying 'The System Wants to Find Justice' But There's 'A Lot of Rumors & Lies'.

YNW Bortlen & YNW Melly Are Facing Life in Prison.

Records show Henry aka YNW Bortlen is charged with two counts of premeditated murder or murder in the first degree.

He is also charged with two counts of being an "accessory after the fact.".

According to Miramar Police, Demons, or YNW Melly, is facing two charges of premeditated murder.

His booking photo has not yet been uploaded to the jail website.

For a charge of first-degree murder, based on a premeditated killing, a prosecutor must show the defendant's intent to kill and must establish there was an advance plan; in premeditation, the prosecutor needs to show steps were taken to prepare for the killing.

Two months before the October murders, YNW Melly released 'Murder on my Mind' which has been viewed 90 million times on YouTube.

He also recorded 'Mixed Personalities' last month featuring Kanye.

Melly Recorded His First Track in 8th Grade.

Facing a was Born Jamell Maurice Demons in Gifford, Florida in 1999.

He's a rapper, singer, and songwriter.

In an interview with Fader, he said, he first recorded a song when he was in middle school.

He used a "microphone held up by coat hanger with a wave cap over it to condense his voice." He went on to post tracks on Facebook and other social media and then began uploading to SoundCloud, not unlike a lot of other SoFlo rappers.

Fader described his style as "bouncy freestyles that showed a noticeable Young Thug influence.

Melly is signed to Young Thug's YSL Records and 300 Entertainment.

He's supposed to be on tour but is instead in a Florida jail.

Melly Was Jailed on Weapons Charge Related to a Shooting at Age 16.

In 2015, according to a news report from the time, Demons, 16, allegedly fired a gun at three people near Vero Beach High School.

No one was hurt.

He was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of discharging a firearm in public.

According to reports, he told police where to find the gun and officers received a semi-automatic weapon.

He was incarcerated at the Juvenile Justice Center in Fort Pierce.

Cassie: What is this course about?

Well, first let's start with the title.

This is The Create and Go, Make Money Blogging for Beginners.

This is the second course that Create and Go came out with.

Actually, I think it might be their third.

It's one of the courses that Create and Go came out with after the Launch Your Blog course,

which I made a video about just before and I will link it down below or in the little

info card above, if you want to go check that out.

And this one is called Make Money Blogging for Beginners.

Cassie: What's taught in this course is things like affiliate marketing, ad Strategies, also

doing sponsorships and just all things, kind of dipping your toes into creating an income

using your blog.

If you've never done it before or if you have thought about doing it, but you're just not

sure what you need to do if you need a big following, how to become an affiliate of different

programs.

So this course is really filled with a lot of beginners' information.

And it's a really good starting point.

I feel for newbies, especially someone like me who has never owned a blog before, never

done online business before and want to make an income with their blog.

So what's inside this course?

Well I'm just going to jump onto my laptop and run through with you just what's inside.

Cassie: They talk about things like using ads, getting sponsors for your posts, basics

of affiliate marketing, marketing techniques, Amazon associates, which is another affiliate

marketing strategy, email marketing basics, setting up sales funnels, blog traffic basics,

using social media for marketing, basics such as Pinterest and YouTube and also Facebook

groups.

Google SEO basics as well, and other blogging matters like taxes, keeping track of revenue,

protecting your blog from hackers, et cetera.

Cassie: The creators of this course, as I have talked about in the first video, which

is the Launch Your Blog course review, this one is ... I'm just gonna quickly skim over

what I said last video and that is that Alex and Lauren are the creators of Create and

Go and they created one, a blog that didn't make any money, failed the first time.

It's called Health and Happy Hour.

Then the second blog that they made was a lot more successful and that made over $17,000

in their first six months and they now have a blog called Create and Go, which is what

this course is all about and they make $10,000 every month.

And that is also passively.

So you kind of get the idea of where I'm coming from as to why I actually want to take this

course.

Cassie: What problems does this course claim to solve?

Well, it says that it is the solution for taking your blog from $0 to $1,000 a month

with free traffic, affiliate marketing, and other awesome source strategies.

So how did it help me?

Well, basically it gave me the tools that I needed to start off with affiliate marketing,

which is one of my favorite ways of making an income because I don't have to make products

for a starters, and two, I also use these products and I know that they work and stuff

like that.

So affiliate marketing comes very easy to me and I can make a bit of an income using

affiliate marketing, which is one of the strategies that they mainly focus on in this course.

Cassie: They do touch on doing sponsorships at which I have another course on which I

might do a review on if you guys are interested in that.

They do talk about ads, but they don't talk about those as much as they talk about affiliate

marketing.

I understand why they do it that way is because affiliate marketing, like I said, it's easy

to get started with and it is faster seeing results.

Sponsorships you need more of like a bit more of a following and a bit more of a loyal following.

So it's not so easy to get started with, especially if you're a small type of blogger or if you're

still really new and you don't have like a big audience.

It is still possible.

It is a lot harder though.

But affiliate marketing, you don't have to have a huge audience to first get started

with and all the other sort of bits and bobs that come with affiliate marketing, it's a

lot more easier to get started with.

Cassie: The course also helps me understand how to start using email funnels and how to

get people into my funnel to then convert into sales.

And you don't have to have a product to get started with this course either.

It teaches you how to do the affiliate marketing side of using the email funnels.

So you can still stop making an income right from the beginning basically.

Cassie: Let's talk about some pros and cons.

So one of the biggest pros that I love about this course is it gives you the actual ... Like

Alex and Lauren put together a sales funnel, like an email sales funnel that goes for seven

days and it is one of the highest email sales funnel that I've ever stood up.

I have used some sales funnels in the past and they haven't been the greatest and I also

didn't really know how to use them.

So once I started taking this course and actually implementing the strategies that they talk

about because they actually really thoroughly explain what's in the funnel and why they

have it there, and then what you have to do to make it your own funnel and to make people,

or to help people trust you in order to buy from you basically.

Cassie: As I have also said before, another pro about this course is they go really in

depth with that affiliate marketing and I have done other affiliate marketing courses

that just solely talk about affiliate marketing and teach you strategies on that.

And I felt this course was a really good building block to understanding how to start monetizing

my blog for one, and two, how to get started with affiliate marketing because affiliate

marketing is a huge topic.

And I feel like I'm always learning new things every single day.

There's never like one course that I've found that has been super, super on point with affiliate

marketing.

I feel like, as with everything actually, I feel like you have to learn from a few different

people to be able to fully understand it, to be able to actually implement it and make

things happen a lot quicker and a lot easier and actually work.

Cassie: The affiliate marketing sort of stuff that they talk about is like using them in

your blog, posts and I'm also using it in your email funnels.

And they also talk a little bit about doing things on YouTube, which I didn't really get

too well into.

But basically this course is about how to start making money on your blog.

This course also talks about Amazon Associates, which I never really got into.

One because I don't really use Amazon and I don't feel comfortable recommending things

to my audience that I wouldn't actually use myself.

So I don't tend to use Amazon Associates as well is because they have a lot of rules and

a lot of regulations that have little holes in them.

And you can sometimes get into a little trouble with it.

So I try to stay away from Amazon Associates.

Cassie: That is just a personal preference.

It's up to you if you want to use that for your blog or if that suits the kind of ... The

audience that you have.

Then of course Amazon Associates is really good to have.

But they do talk about Amazon Associates in there, so I just wanted to add that in just

in case some of you were thinking of monetizing your blog using Amazon Associates.

Cassie: And the third pro is they use a lot of ... They give you a lot of Pinterest strategies,

which is kind of how I sort of started with Pinterest.

With Create and Go, it wasn't with this course.

It will be in the next video, which is the Pinterest Avalanche course review that I'll

do for you.

And they basically teach you in this course, the basics of getting traffic and using Pinterest

to make affiliate sales.

Cassie: One of the cons, I guess if you're not quite into affiliate marketing or it might

not be an income stream that you're very interested in doing, then this course is quite heavily

focused on affiliate marketing.

So that could be a con to you if that is obviously an income stream that you're not too interested

in.

Otherwise, it's not a con.

Like to me, I love affiliate marketing, so it's something that I wanted to bring up anyway.

Cassie: And the second con i guess is I always wish that they got a little bit more in depth

with the email marketing.

They do talk about the basics and they do talk about like the strategies to doing email

marketing, but I wish they went into more strategies on using the email funnel, maybe

a different email funnel, welcome series and stuff like that, to help build trust with

the audience to then convert them into sales.

Cassie: Would I recommend this course?

I totally would.

I have been able to start making an income after using this course.

It wasn't so much as with ads or with sponsorships as I haven't really gotten into those too.

But I feel like marketing obviously, like I say, throughout this whole video, affiliate

marketing is one of my favorites and I do love to do affiliate marketing a lot.

Cassie: If you're an intermediate blogger as well and you haven't started making income.

So if you're about six months in, you haven't started making an income yet or you haven't

even thought about doing monetization and this is your first kind of steps to making

a monetized blog, then by all means, I would recommend this course.

It is a little bit expensive.

I think it's $197 off the top of my head.

But they're basically teaching you how to make money.

So I've already made enough income to pay for that course plus more.

So I think it's a really good investment because you're going to spend money to make money

basically.

Cassie: Like I said, this course is really grate for people who have been blogging for

a little bit and haven't started monetizing their blog or people who just want to start

learning how to market their blogs so they can make affiliate marketing sales, they can

get sponsorships, make ad revenue, which isn't all that great.

But if it's something that you are thinking about, I definitely recommend at least doing

a little bit more research into the course if you're not completely sold on it just yet.

But yeah, that's all I can really say about it.
