another grwm lol how creative - Duration: 10:06.

Hi guyssss! It's Nayelis

Ew I hated how I said that.

Today I'm gonna be doing a grwm

it's gonna be a fun timeeee

I'm just bored, I don't have school today

So I said "let me record something"

but uM I'm gonna be talking about some stuff while I do this

because I talk a lot and I'm gonna feel awkward if I don't talk

Also I'm trying a new setup so if I keep looking at the viewfinder..

I say this in EVERY video I'm so sorry I'm still not used to having a camera.

Btw this shirt is really cute but also my bra strap is like down here because I didn't feel like changing my bra..

If you see my bra.. I'm sorry lol

And if I keep checking if it's in focus once again I'M SORRY.

I already did my eyebrows because they take.. not too long.

I can't talk while I do my eyebrows

I'm just gonna do this inner corner makeup I saw on @that.fiji on Instagram

She did this, I'm giving her credit because I saw it on her and liked it.

The green inner corner.. ugh I love it

I'm gonna try it but with pink because it was Valentines Day yesterday

By the time this goes up it'll probably be V day like a week ago but it's fine.

I'm gonna be using the Take Me Back to Brazil* palette

We know what she looks like everyone has it hahah

So I'm gonna use the pinks in the inner corner while I talk about things!!

I got new piercings!

Hold on I don't know what eyeshadow to use

Before I blend this out, I got my ears pierced! I got...

these little bad boys; my cartilage/helix piercings

Speaking of earrings I'm gonna put mine on.

I got my ears done with a needle

PLEASE get them done with a needle

I'm gonna tell you guys my experience with a piercing gun

I have very sensitive skin and because* of that, I shouldn't use a gun.

(Ew I look so stupid) so I used a gun for my seconds

and although they're healed* the healing process was so painful.

My left ear took so long to heal, it hurt so bad.

Lobe piercings should not take as long to heal as they did.

I know I should've used a needle for my lobes.

I went to my sister's tattoo shop that she goes to get tattoos and piercings.

The piercer is a really cool guy, I'm gonna say the name of the shop just because they deserve the recognition.

The shop is called Fallen Sparrow.

So nice, professional, and clean.

When you walk in there it smells like rubbing alcohol BECAUSE IT'S SO CLEAN.

The piercer is super professional

Before he pierced my ears he gave me a talk about piercings and how to care for them.

When I got my ears pierced with a gun (I dont like this)..

they didn't tell me anything about the hazards of a piercing.

They literally just pierced my ears which is so WEIRD.

That's really weird that they didn't tell me anything?? I don't know I find that kind of odd.

I got my second lobes done at Claire's btw

ooOoo we love hot cheeto fingersXD

but yeah I got them done at Claire's

which don't do I don't know why I did that I was so stupid, I was being naive.

It's fine you live and you learn:))

UGHHH I can't TALK PROPERLY

pain level? They did this ear first and the second ear always hurts more but this has a thicker cartilage

so I thought it was gonna hurt but it was a 2/10

and the 2 wasn't the actual needle, it was switching the needle to the actual jewelry.

It wasn't pain, just pressure. It is a little uncomfortable.

I don't understand how it didn't hurt haha

I guess I just have a pretty high pain tolerance

but it feels like heat, not an actual sharp pain.

I thought it was gonna feel like I was getting stabbed LOL

I'm going to Playlist Live Orlando babies!

I'm just gonna meet some people there, obviously not going as a Youtuber I have like 1k subs lol

I'm gonna "update" you guys on school.

I feel like all of my videos have little school updates and I like them.

And I also feel like people can relate to high school situations.

It's a thing people can understand, so I'm gonna talk about it real quick.

SAT's are in April I think? And it's February.

I'm so nervous..

I hate that a test score is what defines your level of intelligence.

It bothers me that they're judging me based off of a test score.. that's what I'm trying to say.

What if I'm just having a bad test day?

I know you can take it more than once but

I'm not a good test taker and I know a lot of my friends aren't either.

It's just annoying!!!

It's just so irritating to know that people are gonna judge me based off of that

And obviously grades do matter but SAT scores are a big deal, schools won't accept you based off your score.

I can't wear a headband b/c my piercings are still fresh (it'll hurt my ears)

I swear I washed my hands btw they're just stained!

I just realized I never wear my bangs out in videos and I'm so sorry

Usually I film on the weekends and by then my bangs are already dirty.

My viewfinder is a mirror right now

Have y'all seen Shane Dawson's new video?

It's freaking insane.

I don't really care about veins under my eyes if you guys were wondering why I'm not putting anything under my eyes

it's b/c I don't care hehe

I really try to not look at the viewfinder and that's gonna bother me sm when I'm editing

it's fine://

If you want me to be honest, spill the tea I was popping my blackheads

right before filming this video

I love when people are super close to the camera.. I'm not pretty enough to do this hahah

I'm gonna speed through this

so peace✌🏼

Alright I'm back and I didn't set my concealer

I'm gonna set my whole face with.. where is she?!

Maybelline Fit Me powder

I've used this forever, I don't think I'll ever stop.

What was I gonna say? I was gonna say something, I forgot.

fun times we love FORGETTING WE LOVE AMNESIA

why is this itchy

Dude I wanna go to a concert SO BAAADDDD

hi

Ooo someone just sent me something, I'm like famous

I forget that I have a camera sometimes so I forget to make videos.

Which sucks because I asked for a camera and then I forget that I have one

I think it's because I still don't believe that I have one

I wanna make a How I Take My Ig Pics video one day b/c people ask me how I take them

Even though I'm not that photogenic

It takes me so many tries to get a good picture.

Oh also I just looked at my teeth

people ask me if I had braces all the time

no! I've never had braces

I don't know why people think that.

they're not that straight.

I'm gonna contour my nose too

Oh my god more about school, I don't know if you guys know this but..

I'M NOT A SINGER

i can't sing.

I don't think I'm terrible

but compared to other people? bby,

i can't siiiiiIIING

Basically I got cast in a musical

I auditioned for the hell of it and I didn't think I was gonna get cast but apparently I got cast.

It was really funny b/c I DIDNT EXPECT IT.

The director said "raise your hand if you're not comfortable with a solo"

me, my uncondfident self said:

i got a solo.

Oh I hope you guys like the subtitles by the wayyy

I'm so sorry if the Spanish ones are kind of wrong

I speak Spanish but

my Spanish isn't perfect

time for BLUSSSSSHHHHHH

Also if you guys like study with me videos can you let me know

I like watching study with me videos

so I said I'd make one.

o my GOOOOODDDDD

I actually don't highlight often

Buxom lip gloss in the shade "Celeste" I love her <3

She's beautiful

So this is the look!

I hope you guys enjoy this video

I'm probably gonna cut off all the parts where I'm awk

Oh let me take off these clips

I hope you guys enjoyed this video, make sure to follow me on Instagram and Twitter

Like it if you want to

Thanks for watching once again!

love you byeeee

Battle of the Ports - Mappy (マッピー) Show #258 - 60fps - Duration: 16:09.

Mappy comes from a simple time when games were cute and innocent.

Released in 1983 by Namco, this simple yet tricky and fun platformer offered gamers something

new back in the day when most games were Galaxian or Pac-Man knock offs.

You play as Mappy, a mouse police officer who must protect goods from being stolen by

the Meowkies.

The mansion in which the game plays out has six floors which can be reached by jumping

upon trampolines.

You must be careful though as these will break if you bounce on them 4 times in a row.

Some corridors are closed off by doors however these actually play to your advantage.

Opening and closing doors is an important feature of the game.

Doors only open towards their doorknobs.

Opening a door when a Meowkie is near it will score 50 points.

Meowkies cannot open doors, but can go through open ones.

Goro, a larger red Meowkie will open a door if it opens away from him.

Blue doors, when opened, blast a slow moving "microwave" in the direction of the doorknob

that will trap any cats it touches and remove them from the stage.

The more cats caught, the more points gained.

So as you can see, Mappy isn't that complicated but as is the case most of the time, simple

is best.

The first port we are going to take a look at is for the Famicom.

This was one of Namco's early Famicom game ports so I'm surprised at how good it turned

out.

Anyone who's seen Pacland will know what I mean.

Due to resolution issues the map only features 5 of the 6 mansion floors.

This is quite common in the home ports mind you.

Playability wise it's rather well done.

Mappy moves at the correct speed and the AI seems to be on par with the arcade original.

The jumping can feel a little stiff on the bonus rounds mind you but besides that all

is good with this port.

With Mappy being an older game is was ported to many different Japanese home computers.

Many of them are featured on this show such as this NEC PC-88 port.

Sadly the Sord M5, Sharp MZ series and the NEC PC-6001 are all missing.

But never mind that, how is this PC-88 port?

Well, not too bad.

It sounds just like the arcade machine and plays rather well.

It is quite jerky as you can see however the main graphics are pretty well done.

This sure beats what IBM PCs were pumping out at the time with their CGA graphics.

You may have noticed that this port is by Dempa, yep, better known as Micomsoft these

days.

Just like the PC-88 port, this Sharp X1 port is also by Dempa.

It does differ a little in terms of difficulty settings.

This port is a lot tougher than the PC-88 version and seems to run a little faster.

The audio is also different.

I'm not going to say weaker, just different.

Depending upon your preference, this may be a good port or not.

It all depends upon whether you enjoy your games with quite a high challenge.

Can you believe that a port of Mappy actually made its way on to the Epoch Super Cassette

Vision?

A console not known for its arcade ports.

Unfortunately I don't own a Super Cassette Vision these days so I'm left with using

emulation which isn't too good.

From what we can see this is again a great port, especially for the power of the system

it's running on.

The Super Cassette Vision is probable best compared to the Colecovision.

Here's a nice surprise.

Mappy on the Game Gear.

Playing this on a real Game Gear is rather good.

It's a solid port with an extra mode which puts you in to a vertically scrolling tower

stage with many floors.

This extra mode adds a lot to the package but maybe not as much as the two player link

mode!

How about that for cool.

Found on Namco Museum 2 comes the PlayStation port.

This is apparently ported and not emulated.

It is very close if not the same as the arcade version for those not playing them side by

side.

It even replicates the arcade boot sequence.

To me it seems like the perfect port.

Mappy even made its way on to the GBA but only as part of the Famicom mini series.

So as to be expected this is basically the Famicom game running on the GBA.

It's not emulation but a very close to perfect port.

Mappy on the MSX is probably what a ZX Spectrum port would have been like.

Plainly coloured sprites and backgrounds.

It's also the only port so far not to feature the bonus stages and only has 4 floors per

stage while most ports have 5 and the arcade has 6.

The game does play fine although it can be a little tricky seeing which door lets off

a microwave blast and which doesn't.

They're all the same colour.

The only way you can tell is by how thick the door appears.

There are two ports of Mappy to the X68000 although neither are official.

First we'll take a look at the port known as Yopino.

As you can see and hear this is a very close port of the arcade game.

It plays really well too and I'd even say that the bonus screens control better than

the real arcade game.

The second port is know as the N. Kei port.

Rather than being a straight up port, this version tries to enhance the experience with

slightly flashier graphics, beefed up soundtrack and a configuration screen.

Some may like these changes and some may not.

I do personally enjoy how all the computers in the game have been changed to X68000 looking towers.

How to learn MORE English with Emma - Duration: 7:52.

Hello.

My name is Emma, and in today's video I want to tell you about a very exciting opportunity;

but before I talk about this really great opportunity, I wanted to tell you a little

bit about myself and what I do.

So, I hope you see this heart, here.

I put this heart here because I want to talk something that's very close, and near and

dear to my heart, and that is teaching English.

I believe English learning or learning the English language can help people change their

lives for the better.

Okay?

A lot of you are learning English, and I want to ask you: Why are you learning English?

Maybe some of you want a promotion at work, maybe some of you are looking for a new job

or the love of your life, maybe some of you want to travel and see the world and you know

English is going to help that goal; for others it might be about studying at a different

university abroad; or maybe for those of you who work in business, maybe English can help

you conduct your business better.

Whatever the reason, there are many, many reasons why somebody might learn English,

and I'm here to help you with your goal.

So, my job is to help you meet your goals-whatever they are-by providing free English lessons.

I have been doing this for a very long time.

Since 2011, I have been creating YouTube videos about all sorts of things related to English;

from listening, to grammar, to vocabulary, to test preparation.

I create a lot of videos about English-language learning.

But what a lot of people don't realize is that these videos take a lot of time and effort

to create, so I wanted to talk a little bit about that.

What goes into creating one of our videos?

Well, first of all, our videos require a team.

You see me in front of the camera, but we have people working behind the camera who

I'd like to thank; we have people who film, people who edit, who produce, we have people

who create the closed captioning at the bottom of the videos to help our learners understand

them better.

So, we are a team who create these videos.

The second thing I wanted to say is that these videos take a lot of time and effort, and

we're very happy to create these videos because they are very important to a lot of people;

and we believe in free, accessible education.

So, let me tell you a little bit more about myself and why I do what I do.

So, I have spent years learning on how to teach and what goes into learning a language.

I have gone to different conferences, I have taken many courses and certifications, as

well as recently I obtained a master's related to language learning.

Another thing that a lot of people might not know about me is I still work full time.

So, during the day I work and I teach; and it's in the evenings and on weekends when

I do my passion.

Well, my passion is teaching, but I mean my passion at work of creating these free videos.

So, some of you might wonder: Why do you spend your evenings and weekends creating these

videos?

Well, to me they're very important for the following reasons.

I like to help to create these free videos because I think they really help people.

I've met a lot of different people who have watched my videos, and I'm always glad to help.

I think that English can help people reach their goals, and I want to be a part of this

and I want to help people reach their goals, so this is one reason why I do this.

I also very much believe in accessible education.

To me, I like the idea of a fair world; I like the idea of free education where it doesn't

matter how much money you have, and it doesn't matter where you live, or even what...

If you have a disability or not.

I like the idea of everybody having access to education.

So, one reason I create these videos is to make the world more accessible and to provide

free education for all.

I also think it's important that when you know something, you should share it when it

comes to new research, or new information, and new knowledge.

I've spent a lot of time learning about the best ways to learn a language, so I like sharing

this with others.

Finally, I love sharing my culture.

I'm a very proud Canadian and a very proud Torontonian, which is somebody from Toronto.

So, in these videos I get to talk a lot about my city and my country, and I get to share

aspects of my culture, and I also love learning about other people's cultures, so doing this

really helps me to do that.

So, I wanted to take a moment to thank you.

Thank you for watching, thank you for your comments, thank you for your kindness.

I think I have some of the best fans in the world, and some of the...

I would say the best audience in the world - you guys are amazing, and I really appreciate

all of the things you do.

I also wanted to offer, for those of you who want to maybe do more support, I also wanted

to offer something.

This is the exciting opportunity I was talking about earlier.

I want to tell you about the idea of patron.

So, if you're interested, you can show your support by becoming a patron.

This might be a new word for you.

What's a "patron"?

Well, a "patron" is somebody who supports creators, so they support artists, painters,

maybe writers, or directors.

In this case, I'm a teacher, but I'm also a creator.

So, a patron is somebody who supports creators.

How do they do this?

There's many different ways to support creators; sometimes it can be through money, it can

be through endorsements, it can be through telling people about a teacher or a creator

- there's many different ways to support and to become patrons.

So, I invite you to become a patron.

And I'm going to tell you a little bit about how being a patron can benefit you.

So, not only by becoming a patron will you support me, and what I do, and my work, and

my mission of the following; you will also, as a thanks, receive some additional content

that's not available on YouTube.

So, the content...

There's a lot of different things that you will be able to see as a thank you for becoming

a patron.

So, to find out more about the benefits you would receive, as well as what's involved

in the process of becoming a patron, please check out my website http://www.teacheremma.com

and learn more.

Again, I want to thank you for watching this video, as well as for being so supportive.

You guys are the best.

Until next time, thank you and take care.

Olabinjo 'Ola' Osundairo: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 6:51.

Olabinjo 'Ola' Osundairo: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

Olabinjo "Ola" Osundairo is one of the Nigerian bodybuilding brothers who was taken into custody in relation to the assault on "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett.

Ola was taken into custody at O'Hare Airport on February 13 along with his brother, Abimbola "Abel" Osundairo.

In addition to being bodybuilders, the pair are also aspiring actors.

TMZ reports that both brothers have been "booked for batter.".

On January 29, Smollett told police in Chicago that he had been assaulted while leaving a Subway restaurant, close to the actor's apartment on North Lower Water Street around 2 a.m.

The "Empire" actor described his assailants as being clad in black and wearing ski masks.

TMZ was the first report that Smollett told cops his attackers referred to him as a "n*****" and a "f*****." On February 1, Abel Osundairo posted a video to Instagram showing him in Nigeria.

In January 2019, Abel posted a video to Instagram using Smollett's song "Ha Ha (I Love You) as a backing track.

Ola and Abel's lawyer, Gloria Schmidt, told CBS Chicago that her clients "are baffled about why they are people of interest.

It's an awful thing that happened to Jussie, but it's not my guys." Schmidt also said that Smollett and the Osundairo brothers are familiar to each other from the gym.

As news broke that the pair was in custody, multiple reports surfaced alleging that the attack had been staged as Smollett was to be written out of "Empire." Those reports were met with immediate pushback from the Chicago Police Department, as well as the writers and producers of the show.

The show's creators said there were no plans to write Smollet out of the show.

Here's what you need to know:.

Ola & Abel Modeled 'Winter Face Masks' for Sale on Facebook.

In December 2018, Ola uploaded a picture of him and his brother modeling "Winter Face Masks" for $20 to Facebook.

The pair also modeled hooded sweatshirts, vests and baseball caps with the logo "Team Abel," which is Abel's Instagram handle.

Ola gives his nickname as "Juice" on Facebook.

Ola says that between 2014 and 2017, he studied Business and Finance at Keller Graduate School of Management in Naperville, Illinois.

Since May 2017, Ola has worked as a bouncer at Whiskey Business, a bar in Chicago.

For a time, Ola and Abel ran a now-defunct party store, Party Time, in the Iriving Park area of Chicago, according to public records.

A postitive Yelp review of the store read, "Had to put together a last minute party and needed something close and reasonably priced.

This place was awesome, it's in the strip mall on Kimball and Irving.

I was able to get all the balloons and favors I needed etc.

They also have Trump piñatas!".

Ola Appeared in 'Empire' as Chris Rock's Bodyguard & Has Bemoaned Nigerians Playing Criminals on TV.

Ola appeared in a 2015 episode of "Empire" as Chris Rock's prison bodyguard.

In an interview with the TV channel of his alma-mater, Quincy University, Ola said, "I played a prison inmate.

I was handpicked by the director to play as Chris Rock's bodyguard in prison.

I actually started watching the show when I was cast to be on it.

Ever since then I have been staying tuned.".

Quincy University is a private Catholic college in Quincy, Illinois.

Ola is represented by BNB-Chicago Model and Talent Agency.

On his IMDb page, Ola says that he appeared in the February 2018 episode of "Chicago PD" titled "Anthem" and a movie named "The Worst Nightmare." Abel has also appeared in an episode of "Chicago PD.".

       .

Ola went on to say that his goal was to be in Hollywood and that his role in "Empire" was "just the beginning." Ola said he was working on independent movies.

He says, "By the grace of God I plan on taking this acting career as far as I can." Ola has a YouTube channelsun with three videos that see him acting in a variety of scenes.

Ola bemoaned what he viewed as the typecasting of Nigerian actors in TV and movies in a November 2018 Facebook post where he wrote, "SMH.

They always got the Nigerians.

A government that comes from everyday Alberta, works for everyday Alberta.

I am honoured by the trust that Albertans put in me and in all of us.

I am prouder still of the work that we've done.

But my friends, that job is not done.

This century can be, it will be, Alberta's century if our conviction remains that we

can achieve more working together than we can working alone.

That we are our sister's keeper.

And that the politics of hope always trumps the politics of division and anger.

That is my conviction and that is why I'm not done fighting because we have only just

begun.. and oh, by the way, my name is Rachel Notley and I am running again to be your Premier.

Secrets to Fantastic Beasts special effects - the Niffler moment you missed - News Today - Duration: 10:39.

One of the crowning achievements of the Fantastic Beasts franchise is the imaginative creatures - oh and the vast magical landscapes

Fantastic Beasts earned two Academy Award nominations for its production design and costume design, winning an Oscar for the latter

The more recent Crimes of Grindelwald was nominated for a BAFTA for its visual effects too

But who is behind the wizardry we see on screen? is one of the minds behind the creatures and visual effects that bring JK Rowling 's wizarding world to life

Crimes of Grindelwald isn't the first time Manz has worked with director David Yates - he also has credits as far back as the Harry Potter films

At the beginning of pre-production Yates challenged Christian and the team to push creativity on the film and to have fun with the creatures

Christian recently gave a talk about his work on the film at The VFX Festival , Mirror Online caught up with him after to talk all things Fantastic Beasts, VFX and what the future holds for the industry

No time to read? Click on the video above to listen to our interview with - with bonus secrets about Harry Potter and Dobby! Fantastic Beasts creatures - the  The film is quite the operation

There are 1,500 artists working on the film at multiple facilities around the world, with about 100 people working on a single character

Harry Potter always had it's creatures, from the hippogriff to Dobby, but Fantastic Beasts takes it even further

"The was particularly difficult," Christian says. "It had to be one, what Jo had written, and two, what everyone wanted - the Chinese creature - and in the end we designed a particularly bonkers design

"David, the director, wasn't sure at first. But one of our animators loved it so he quickly built it, modelled it, and animated it and that's what got us the because David loved it

"  The is quite a detailed design. It's a monstrously large feline beast, as big as an elephant, with a striped body, scraggly mane, four fangs that curl out of its mouth, long sharp claws, and a disproportionately long, ruffled multicoloured tail

"By the nature of its face it was quite hard, with big bug eyes, it's quite difficult to emote and you actually had to have quite a lot of subtle controls in there," explains Christian

It paid off though, and ended up giving us one of the funniest moments of the film

"The bit where Newt waggles the 's toy in the air, everybody laughs at that and that's because they're seeing something, everyone has a dog or cat that would do the same thing

"What our animators do is study real animals, they closely study the natural world to see all those behavioural things

The big thing with the beasts is they are animals, not characters, but every dog or cat has a character

"  When done right of course, the creatures give us some of the best humorous moments in the Fantastic Beasts franchise

The moment we all missed  "With the - especially with the first and second film - you are trying to think of funny things," Christian said

"It's those things that lift it."  To create the funny moments, it's all about finding what's relatable, but it's also about the tiny moments you don't always see at first

"With the there's the times he's dragging his belly on the ground or he's taking the gold," Christian says

"It's something you've seen, but it's subtle animation - again you see his little heart going under the feathers, you see the pauses, it's some of the most difficult things to do

I think it's as much of what he doesn't do as he does do."  Christian adds there's one particular moment in the Crimes of Grindelwald that the audience don't always spot

"There's a shot in there where which hardly anybody ever sees," he says. "[The ] steals something in the background, with Eddie in the foreground as Newt, and he sort of is surreptitiously stealing something

"  The movement and inspiration for the actually came from another animal.  "That originally came from looking at a honey badger rifling through someones rubbish in South Africa I think," Christian reveals

"The insatiable desire to get in the fridge and get the food. Nothing was going to stop it, and getting that over in this is what makes it funny

" Locations so convincing they tricked the French  While creatures are a huge part of why we love Fantastic Beasts, the actual world the wizards and witches live in is another

Christian works with closely with Stuart Grey who worked on the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beast films to create the world we see on screen

"A lot of Paris still exists as it did in the 1920s, and New York, so Stuart starts with concept images of all the different streets that appear in the film and he'll be using real locations, but using other buildings or shifting buildings around to create nice compositions

"  The team then had a "shopping list" to take to Paris, where they spent a month scanning whole streets, whole buildings, taking thousands of photographs before they come back

They then have digital models of all those buildings to match the concepts for the shots they film

The data has to be shared with the facilities in the UK and Canada.  "We still shoot a lot of set it's not all green screen," Christian says

They work off of this, creating shadows and effects so it looks "as real as possible"

Sometimes too real.  "I did a talk in Paris recently and they asked us which parts of Paris we shot in and we didn't go there at all!"

and using Harry Potter's Hogwarts again  Of course, one of the most iconic buildings - Hogwarts - is also brought to life thanks to Christian and the team

For all the seven Harry Potter films they'd built it digitally.  "The team used the same material to re-build it and zhuzh it up for 2018," Christian says

The Hogwarts interior was the same location for Harry Potter one and two.  For the Great Hall, they scanned the hall at Warner Bros Studio Tour London

"We digitally created the whole set, but using the real set in the tour and referencing all the photographs and the films themselves," Christian explains

The Ministry of Magic was the same, with the team using drawings and photos from 10-15 years ago

"We were ringing up sculptors asking for their work," he says. "This franchise is unique it's all there in the museum, so it feels as authentic as possible

" Harry Potter v Fantastic Beasts - what's changed?  Even though the first films still provide a wealth of material, things have changed since the first movie's release

"The big change is the amount of visual effects content," Christian says. "When you go to  Harry Potter tour, things like the hippogriff, that was digital but there was physical build of the creature

When you go to the tour you see they built a lot of stuff, which you don't necessarily do anymore

A lot is imagination based now. We can do more.  "If you were doing Fantastic Beasts at the time of Harry Potter, with New York, with Paris, we wouldn't have been seeing as much of that city as we're able to show today

"  That's mostly down to technology of course.  "Computers have got quicker, and artists, we're getting more and more experience every year

"Visual effects is playing catch up to an industry that's been going for more than hundred years

The biggest difference for people coming into it now is they've got access to all of that, much more easily than I did, as a person who started not being able to use a computer

"  There's plenty of young talent working their way up now too. The festival discovered 71 per cent of the future workforce aged 16-25 said they have a desire to work in the Creative Industries, despite an absence of careers guidance

But Art and design is losing popularity, as both parents and students rank it as the least important subject to study at school, despite showing an increased interest in creative careers

There's still hope for the future of visual effects, and plenty of work to be done - after all JK Rowling did say there's another three Fantastic Beast films

But while people speculate how films will develop and use visual effects, Christian thinks there's one way it can go

"There will be more of [special effects], but where's it is going is you won't notice it as much

Now it's a craft, the use of it now is to create a world and enable the director and writer to come up with things you wouldn't do before - whether it's a space ship or creature

"Film making has been going towards more and more green, less and less set, and there's all the talk that there won't be actors anymore

I believe there will be actors, there will still be performance.  "The key thing with digital characters is getting the authentic performance and that's still driving ahead and us embedding ourselves into it

"  For Christian it's "augment and not create as much as possible".  What will really want to know? Will we get more Fantastic Beasts creatures?  "It's trying to push the envelope of what is fantastic," Christian says

"It's trying to find the next . That's the biggest struggle. The struggle for me is ideas really, not in technology

You just have to think of ideas. I think when a film captures the audience's imagination - with this type of film - is when they see something they haven't seen before - that's the hardest thing to do
