Waching daily Feb 17 2019

Hi I'm Nichola, Hi I'm Hugh

and we are MKH

Lately in Korea we have been doing more media stuff

so we've been in the newspaper, we've been on TV a few times

and a morning show recently did a segment about us

we've got that footage for you, we are going to show you

but first I wanted to explain that we had been in Australia for 5 weeks and then we came back

and within a few days it was like "you are going to have to film this thing"

and it was over lunar new year

so we were travelling but we still had to film and film in the countryside with your parents

So we got an email from SBS, the morning show

Of course we were so tired but I just ask her, "Can we do this?"

Because I know it's not that much...

actually it's not that much exposure

-but -you've gotta do the things that come

yeah and then you have a reference right?

and then in the future, (you can say) "I did this with this media"

So, I just did it

WE DID IT

we did it

and it was quite difficult because we were very tired from Australia

and the weather changed, travelling

We went from heat wave Australian summer to Korean winter

And from Seoul to my home town it takes about 4 hours

with a baby

and lots of luggages

it was really really difficult

and had to be nice and positive

you've gotta be nice on camera!

and I can't be cranky

I think people don't realise how hard filming is

so when you do these types of shows or any type of filming, the camera is right in your face

and you often don't have much choice of what you are doing

so we will show you that footage now because I don't think it's anywhere else online

and they have given us the permission to show it

so we'll show that now

this is us on SBS Morning Wide

Foreigner creators?

Hello Morning Wide audience

we are MKH, husband Hugh and wife Nichola

and baby Yul. (Oh a married couple!)

with a baby

We are going to the countryside because it's lunar new year and it takes over 3 hours

let's go

Korean husband, Australian wife

I'm going to see my parents

Subscribers 96,000 thousand, international couple creators

Hello!

Of course they start with the camera

We are in Sancheong. What are we doing here?

We are a intercultural family creators

Nice to meet you everyone

Hello!

We are introducing Hugh's parents

You make content in English?

Yes we make in English because we started in Australia

many of our subscribers are international people

or Koreans who speak English

(So they make subtitle for Korean audience as well)

Feels like parents don't understand

We upload to social media and my mother likes the posts

It's seollal (lunar new year) and we are going to make jeon

I think foreigners are interested in making Jeon

Yes more than one (big fry pan)

They are explaining Korean culture to foreigners

Doing well

She's done this before

Doing a mukbang

hmm delicious

I'm happy to see that they are happy

it makes me happy and my feeling is good

taste it

(loving her daughter in law)

delicious?

They are cooking together on holidays

Even though she doesn't speak Korean well, she understand a lot of Korean

She studied Korean in Australia for one year

but my parents have really strong dialect

that's why she can't understand!

(the strong dialect even I can't understand)

In dialect: What is this?!

It's hard

(They are wearing beautiful hanbok)

they are introducing Korea really well

(first time getting the bow from their grandson)

(They prepared their grandson's hanbok)

(The baby is bowing like that. So cute)

Money!

(he lay down and then got money)

(In general as well, not only on holidays, they are introducing Korean culture)

That's not first time wearing hanbok

They are introducing Korean culture in different ways

Lots of people are interested in Korea in other countries

That's typical Korean lunar new year setting

They lived in Australia and then moved to Korea

We are happy

If you were in Australia you wouldn't have this experience?

Yes, it wouldn't be like this

because we are in Korea we have this experience and i'm happy to be here

My wife had health problems and thought out she couldn't conceive naturally

we did IVF and failed first time

second time we got pregnant and that was Yul

he is precious baby

Staying in Australia at least one month in a year

Yul you are 37th generation of Gwon family

Daddy is 36th generation

Yul is Australian and Korean. He has two nationalities

two nationalities

We are not going to raise him as only Korean, he is also Australian AND Korean

Living a global life

Yes, he is becoming global citizen

The best meat of your life

They are introducing "mat-jib" (delicious restaurant)

The food that they missed the most when in Seoul

I think people like them a lot

Nichola left her own country so it's a bit difficult

she followed her husband to Korea

when they make content and are happy

They might have lots of comments

Australia and other countries are more focused on how to make food and the ingredients

but Korea is more like expressing about the taste, they focus more on the eating

(Korean people like to see people eat)

(Tteokbokki is a bit sweet so many foreigners like it)

Not only international couples in Korea but international couples all around the world

so we communicate with people and hope they learn some cultural differences from our contents and encourage them

we want to make lots of meaningful content

Happy new lunar year!

I never watch myself that carefully on these things

it's always embarrassing watching yourself right?

so even as I'm editing this video I'm not really watching it, I know what happened

it's okay

you get so much embarrassment watching yourself

I haven't watched it properly as well. Some people that watched this one said it was pretty good

Okay then, I'll trust you

These shows don't always get everything exactly right but usually it's okay

it's just that they edit down, they film so much and they edit it down

So if you have any questions you can leave them below

and we will answer them

You were saying mostly old people watch this show

yeah that's what I heard

So that's why they want you to speak more Korean as well

It's really hard to speak another language on camera

it's different when it's just us but when you have a camera in your face

and they are like "say this! and I'm like "..."

even if you can say that, you get so much anxiety

that's why I talk most of them time

so hope you enjoyed that

Also some people ask me, because we were on TV and media

quite a lot these days

"Why don't you be on Superman Returns"?

we are not famous enough

Superman Returns, for people that don't know

is a show that follows a dad looking after his kids

the thing is, they are celebrity dads

they have achieved something in the celebrity world

and you are not famous enough

yup

that's not gonna happen

I mean we can guest on an episode but he's never going to be one of the main dads

sorry guys

If someone out there wants to make online youtube version

Superman Returns youtube version

just let me know

The Youtube version of Superman Returns

Why not?

I've had some questions lately about what it's like to film for Korean TV

and there is a lot to talk about so we are going to talk about that and show some more in a video

coming up soon, so if you have more questions

leave them down below because we are going to do a whole other video

showing what it's like filming for TV because we've done a variety of stuff

Yeah and we did the magazine cover

and also in the actual newspaper

and also another TV show

so we have some footage of what we did so we will show you guys

explain our experience

yeah what it's actually like

just leave a comment and just let us know

So if you are new here please subscribe, and we actually have comics and other stuff on our blog

and you can follow our social media and see what we are doing

Yes, there will be Korean subs on our videos from now

Okay we will see you guys later bye bye

[CC] My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic - A Changeling Can Change (English) - Duration: 2:26.

Would you say I'm a hero

Glorious and brave

If I told you something you wouldn't believe?

That sometimes I'm scared

And I can make mistakes

And I'm not so heroic, it seems

But if day can turn to night

And the darkness turn to light

Then why can't we imagine a changeling can change?

No two ponies are exactly the same

No two snowflakes ever match their design

And I thought I was strong

But I was nothing but wrong

When I forgot to be friendly and kind

But if day can turn to night

And the darkness turn to light

Then why can't we imagine a changeling can change?

Would you say I'm a hero

Glorious and brave

If I told you something you wouldn't believe?

This changeling, it seems

Knows the real me

And would stay by my side until the end

So if day can turn to night

And the darkness turn to light

Then why can't we imagine

Just why can't we imagine

Then why can't we imagine a changeling can change?

How To Do Astrophotography Without A Tripod | Does The Gear Matter? - Duration: 5:18.

We're back with another quick tutorial today. I got asked a question which was

can you do Astro photography without a tripod? Short answer is yes long answer

is I'm going to show you how the person that asked it they're heading off to the

Himalayas and they're wanting to make the most of being up high and take

pictures of stars while they're up there so they're going to have hiking

equipment with them so that's what we're starting with and I think that's pretty

relatable for everyone that might be doing this, like you go outside and you want to

make the most of it so hopefully this fits a lot of people now I'm using my

camera bag as the base which has a back support so it's quite firm but

hopefully you can use these techniques to get your photos now we're not

covering settings in today's video I've already done a video on that this is

just getting set up and then getting the shot but we'll head over to the bag now

and show you what I've been doing we'll start with the most basic of all the

setups and that is just the bag I often use this for when I'm out vlogging i'll

chuck the vlogging camera on here and I tend to just use the back straps to

level it out a bit now I wasn't sure what was going to be like when you're

out in Himalayas like you might be up on top of the mountains and then you

looking over the tops of the mountains with the Stars pretty much in front of

you so maybe this will work but more often than not you're going to need to

point the camera upwards so we're going to need some way of shimming this up in

my bag I often have stuff like a hat or about some big gloves while you're out

there now you can just stack them up and then your camera is now pointing upwards

the downside about doing this kind of thing is these are soft materials so

when you're taking the picture you're gonna want to put it onto it a timer

because when you pressing it down it's going to get a bit of movement from the

fabric so I'll just put the camera onto a

ten-second timer and by the time it's all leveled out you'll be fine and no

one will know that this is the setup you used so the options we got from my set up is

the camera bag gloves maybe gloves and the hat maybe a sunglasses case or maybe

a coat that you rolled up and they all basically do the same job and all I'm

trying to say is that there's different options and I don't think it really

matters you are going to have to be careful that it's not as secure like it

could tip back so stay with your camera and that's all you need to do what I've

done is I stacked together them gloves and the hat and I got a picture over in

that direction the thing with doing the nighttime photography is you don't want

a light going into the back of the camera so I'm going to save you that

time because it's just 30 seconds of darkness but it's not the fanciest of

pictures it's just to prove the point and you can see all the stars up there

when I just use the two gloves you could see some of their foreground and I

didn't like it so putting that extra layer in there just made the difference

really I'm also going to put in some of my other

astrophotography images just to show that I have done this before and I'm not

just making this up for a video but I think this is one of them times where

the gear actually doesn't matter I'm not a big fan of that quote because it's

pretty cheesy but there's what's that saying there's many ways to skin a cat

you don't always need to have the fancy one sometimes if the dirty way just

works and I do this a lot for my photography by the DIY macro video that

we did a while back I had that DIY set up when I was getting into it I didn't

see the point in investing into all the macro things when I first started that

was like two or three years down the line so if you're only going to be doing

this once or twice a year then this way is perfect

you don't have to spend any more money and you can just put that money that you

would have spent into holiday or into anything else but hopefully you found

this helpful and you can get some pictures out of this but if you want to

see more videos like this please hit the like button and subscribe to the

channel I've also got more guides over at Adamkappa.co.uk if you could share

them around that would be appreciated but hope you liked the video and I'll see

you next time

you

Love Island's Tom Powell says 'pressure to look good' has driven him to inject STEROIDS - Duration: 2:34.

Love Island's Tom Powell has revealed that he's a regular user of anabolic steroids

The fitness trainer, who previously dated fellow 2016 contestant Sophie Gradon, says that the constant pressure to 'look good' has driven him to use the drugs

"Everyone in South Wales is on them - it is rife here," said the star. "The temptation to take them has always been there but I felt I didn't know enough about it

I was reading about steroids for years. "After Love Island, I was mixing with some of my idols in the fitness industry and I found out they were all on steroids, so I decided to make the leap

"I don't think Love Island had that much of an impact on my decision. It might have sped up the process but I think I would have ended up taking them anyway

" NHS advises that anabolic steroids, drugs that mimic the effects of the male hormone testosterone, should only be taken when prescribed by a doctor

The class C drugs are sometimes taken without medical advice to increase muscle mass and improve athletic performance

If used in this way they can cause serious side effects such as liver disease, high blood pressure and extreme aggressiveness or depression

Tom told Wales Online : "It can be massively addictive - you feel super-human when you are on it

"Once you are off them, you realise you were much better on steroids. "You do not crave it, you don't need them, but it is psychologically addictive because you are not as powerful - you think 'I am not as good as I was'

" Tom, who only drinks alcohol about once a month as he thinks people need to "pick their poison", said he hasn't suffered many side effects from taking steroids but he has had night sweats

"For me, it is about quality of life, not quantity. I would rather live a shorter life than live to a hundred and do nothing

"I would rather have a great life," he said

Python tutorial 11: Python String Methods - endswith ( ) by Manish Sharma - Duration: 7:08.

What's up Internet!

I am Manish from rebellionrider.com and I am back once again with another awesome Python

Tutorial.

Today's tutorial is going to be about another string method of Python language which is

'endswith'.

Now that we have learnt how to check if a string starts with a specified sub string

or not in the last tutorial, it's time to move on and learn how to find out if a string

ends with a specified string or not.

But before that, please do not leave without pressing that thumbs up button if you like

the video.

Also, this year I am aiming for 1 lakh subscribers so please subscribe to the channel if you

haven't already.

Now let's start.

After starts-with the second string method in the list of python programming is 'endswith'.

As the name suggests, using this function we can determine if a string is ending with

a specified sub-string or not.

Let's take a quick look at the syntax of this string method 'EndsWith'.

endswith ('sub-string', startIDX, endIDX) The syntax is pretty much the same as the

previous string function 'startswith'.

The method ends-with also accepts three parameters.

Let's take a look at those.

Sub-string – The first parameter is the sub-string.

This is the string that will be searched in the main string.

This is the only mandatory parameter in the list.

startIDX – The second parameter is the start index.

Here you have to specify an integer value which will indicate the index number from

where the interpreter will start the search of the sub-string.

This is an optional parameter, which means if you want you can skip it.

In case you do not mention the start index then interpreter will start the search from

the index 0 which is the default value.

endIDX – The third parameter is the end index.

Similar to start index, here also you have to mention an integer value.

This value will specify the index number on which the interpreter should stop the search.

Once again, this is an optional parameter.

In case you do not mention any value here then the interpreter will keep searching until

the main string ends.

That's all about the syntax now let's do some examples and learn how this string

method endswith works in Python.

Similar to the last python tutorial.

Here also, I will do three examples, demonstrating each of the three parameters of the function,

which we just discussed.

In the last tutorial, we used the command prompt for the demonstration but today our

choice of editor will be Atom.

So let's start.

Step 1: We need a string.

In order to perform a search we will need a string.

This will work as a base string onto which the string method 'ends with' will perform

the search.

So for today our base string will be – "With RebellionRider.com, I will be the

master of Python in No Time" Here we have the base string.

Next, we will search if this string or a part of it ends with a sub-string or not.

To do that we will use the 'endswith' string method of Python.

Example 1: In the first example we will see if this string ends with the word Time or

not.

my_str = "With RebellionRider.com, I will be the master of Python in No Time"

Here I created a variable "my_str" and saved our base string into it.

Next using this variable we will call the string method ends with.

Let's see how.

my_str.endswith('Time') Here I first wrote the name of the variable

which is holding the base string on to which we want to perform the search.

Followed by that I have a dot operator (.) and then the name of our method endswith.

As you can see, here we have supplied only one parameter to this method which is the

search string.

On execution the interpreter will start searching the entire string and see if it ends with

the specified search string which in our case is 'Time'.

If the base string ends with the search string then it will return true otherwise it will

return false.

Let's execute and see the result.

So the program executes without any error but where is the result then?

Unlike command line interface where the function call directly shows the result, in editor

like ATOM we need to take help of print function to display the result back to the user.

To do that we have two ways.

In the first one we can create another variable and store the result produced by the function

call into it.

Then using print function we can display the value stored into that variable.

The second way is that we can directly place the function call into the print function.

That way we don't have to declare an extra variable.

I guess the second one will be much nicer.

Let's go with that.

print(my_str.endswith('Time')) Now if we execute the code, we will see the

output.

Here we go.

The output is true.

Now let's do the next example.

Let's say I don't want the interpreter to start the search from the beginning of

the string, rather I want it to start the search from index number 39.

That way we can save time and resources.

So what do I have to do for that?

In order to start the search from a specific index we need to mention the index number

as the second parameter of the endswith function call.

Like this.

my_str.endswith('Time',39) Simply, right after the search string put

a comma and then write the index number from where you want the interpreter to start the

search.

In my case it's 39.

Let's modify this function call a little bit more.

Let's say this time I want the search to start from index 39 and end at index 55.

Also, instead of Time, let's see if the string ends with the word 'Python' or

not.

my_str.endswith('Python',39, 55) In this function call we have used all the

three parameters.

Let's execute and see the result.

The result is true.

So, that's how we use ends with string method in Python.

Hope you enjoyed watching.

Please hit the thumbs up button and like the video, and subscribe to the channel if you

haven't already.

That is it for today.

Thanks for watching this is Manish from RebellionRider.com

காதலா? இல்லை வாழ்க்கையா? நீ தீர்மானி | LOVE? OR LIFE? YOU DECIDE | Tamil Motivational Videos - Duration: 11:09.

Just ask the 'bloke' who is in love know, "Hey, why do you love him sooo much!?"

""Whatte personality., Whatte charm.., whatteyjob.."

"She will gush non-stop..

and follow it up with cinematic dialogues like.,"My love isn't human., it's divine...

DIVINE!!

that non-sense is certainly not divine!

You were actually a no-nonsense person until then!

doing all the clueless shit that students usually do...

Untill then you had no thoughts about all this'divine' stuff..

But then your brain chooses to squirt some hormones...

Let's say exactly then... the most useless goonk in your college crosses your field of vision ...

now your brain takes a snapshot of this bloke under the hormonal influence..

much like a 'Portrait'option in a DSLR.,know?

where everything else blurs and and that face alone stands out? like that!

For next two days your brain is on a replay mode...Whatever Job you do.. "Pachaak!"

The same face... You go to Bathroom.. "Pachaak!..."... You eat Idli.. Pachaak!

You turn this side., "Pachaak!!"

And in just 2 days your mind voice will be your previous favourite dialogue..

"Mere humans will not understand my divine love!"

The three useless girls around you? They will echo your inner voice..."Divine love.. divine love... divine love!!!"

And tell you...This is super love., I am a great friend...

And the purpose of my entire life is to help you succeed in this love!"

They will go on scratching this divine itch of yours..

And you will trust them..

If that boy also gets hooked on to you..

then the next two years will be such a sweet passing of time!

You will be singing duet in la la land..

Physics ma'am will be taking class and you will be playing ball in inner Goa..

Sigh., if only this feeling stayed for your entire life..You would have no problem at all ...

You could sing duet in your dreams forever! But your body..,Its such an intelligent thing..

All these hormone mechanisms are not recent add ons...They happened when we lived in caves.

It still functions as though its in 50000 BC.....When we lived in caves...

You needed to birth a child as early as 13... because We lived in extreme fear of wild animals..nature...

and the only chance of survival was in our numbers..

But today the world has changed..

What will happen if you squirt out babies at 13, tell me?

But your brain hasn't woken up from 50000 BC Yet.. It still believes it's in a bloody cave...

It doesn't realise yet that you don't need to reproduce at 13...

So what happens...it just doesn't question if your body is mature yet.....or the structure of society..

or if your love is divine... it just switches off the hormones. just like how it switched it on,

whether or not you give birth to a child.

because who will care for the baby if you are still singing duets in dream lands...

So when the hormone goes... the euphoric feelings also go!!

If the whole switching off business happens in him

before it happens for you..

and he looks at your face and delivers this dialogue:"What did I ever see in your shitty face!?"....

If you leave it free and take it light... Trust me, you will be just fine!!...

When the hormones go ...your feelings will also change..

But... Er., we don't like simple lives, no?especially when it disturbs our vanity?

Our mega idols 'Dhanush' and 'Simbhu' have taught us a 1000 love scriptures no?

So you will be like, "I will hang myself!"..

"I can't live without him..

Can't live... can't live...

Instead of letting yourself heal in peace., You will canstantly scratch the wound and make it big...

By endlessly criticising yourself, your appearance or blaming him..Non-sense like "never trust men.."

Because you are a girl., you are a bit safer.. No friend will incite you to drink...

"Friend uu.. love matter feeling.. needs quarter brandy.. for mind cooling"

You don't have that danger., but for the next 4 years,

constantly hearing these sad shitty love songs... you will throw away your precious life ...

These utterly uselss songs.

tell me one such song?

Its a long time since I listened to these movie songs..You tell me a song sir?

"Poooo.. nee poo...(Gooo you gooo!)"(crowd laughs)

You will lsten to them a 1000 times each day..

Your mind will be wasted, your life will be wasted.,

And for you to recover from these songs it will be like another 7 years..

By then the damage to you will become permanent!

Keep in mind., nobody damaged you.. you damaged yourself..

Nobody is ever a victim.

I don't want to go into this subject any further because this is a short workshop..

If there is someone among you who is still obsessing on this divine love stuff.."I will

only marry him!"

"Go ahead... let's just call it your fate... marry him!"

But... just keep this in mind..

No man ever is worth your entire future.

Marriage is just a part of human life.

If you think the essence of a woman's life is marriage..

then you are just falling to society's brainwash.

Just go out... open your eyes and look around.. look at a lady who is 40..

What joy do you see in her life?

except that she have given birth to a child, and she sees the sweet face?

what other joy do you see?

Even that is only for the first year.. until the baby babbles cute..

after that?isn't it one of never ending complaints..doesn't eat., doeasn't study?

Think.. the nature of pleasure is that we get adapted to them..

You eat an ice cream.. the first mouthful is so tasty..

by the end though, .. you are struggling through to finish the final mouthful?

You craved for it so much know?

Why was the pleasure in the last scoop much lesser than the first scoop?

Your father purchased a two wheeler for you.

The pleasure when you raised that accelerator for the first time..

"Vrooom, vroom."

Why doesn't it rush now through you after an year?

"why?"

Doesn't matter what other great pleasure of life..

An ordinary mind adapts itself to the current one and craves for more..

So what does an ordinary man do..

He aches for something he doesn't have yet.., gets it.. 10 days pleasure..

Then another pleasure ... 10 days kick..

another pleasure ..10 days... gets used to it..

another pleasure..10 days .. gets used to it..

The whole process repeats and he dies without ever truly enjoying the things

he struggled so much for..

That's the same that will happen to you also.. in this 'divine love' of yours too..

It will provide its 'high' for 60 days..

After that your mind will get used to that 'divinity' too..

How ever divine it is you will get used to it.

So.. if you will define your entire life within the context of a single relationship..

If you will attribute the entire meaning of life to relationships..

then when that meaning dissolves..

It will be a brutal blow to your head.. like someone just snatched the crapet from

underneath..and you fell flat back..

You will feel empty.. and people get used to even that emptyness..

If you come to chennai.. and see around our stinky river coovam..

to you that stench will be unbearable.. but you will see someone there ..

happily listening to song in a relaxed peace.. just like that..

That nose has got used to the stench..

Open your eyes and see... the people you see around you are all people like that..

The society around you, your father, mother, uncle aunt, grandpa grandma, everyone..

They are all people who have got used to the stench of suffering and misery..

not used to joy and bliss and never ending growth..

Minds that have got used to blaming and criticising..to focus on their lacks..

Please don't think like them..

That you will get the joy and love from things/people outside of you is a myth..

If you truly want to experience these sublime feelings..

Focus on your growth! Focus on things you control..your skill sets.. Everyday

Today I am at this step..Tomorrow I climb to this step..

And as you climb up.. two steps.. you will climb properly..

But the third step you will have a bloody fall..

And when you fall... that fall is what is exactly "life!!"

The society lies to you in telling you safety is life..

You have to study., get married, buy own house and live without troubles!!

Nooo! That's not life. Life will beat you to a pulp!

People will laugh at you..

You will offer your love... but that bloke might cheat you..

You should get stuck in none of these steps..

That's just a step.. you had a fall..

Just mutter, "Oh shit!"

And get up..reach the next step.. "scream 'yoo hoo!'..

If you have to live such a life where you go up.. and ..up.. and UP!!...

Look the graph of a good life is not this... its this!

You climb... you fall.. climb... fall... climb fall..

The people who are losers in life.. .they just stop with here... or here..

But the ones, who think I must get up.. everytime I fall...

Ultimately they reach here..

This is life..

And if you want this kind of a life..

Then you need a few fundamental beliefs to empower you..

The first belief...

The love that I am searching for, the happiness, the fame, the claps..

None of it will come to me external sources..

Not from the people in my life..

Who should it come from?

not able to hear you..

From you!

Have you seen a shiva temple?

Have you seen the beggars who sit at its door steps?

Who should a beggar beg from?

From the people who will come out of the temple, no?

Does it make sense if he begs from the beggar sitting next to him?

"Bro, give me some alms?

Would the other beggar give him?Because he also is a beggar!!!

The love you that beg for will not be given by another beggar!

The clever new personalised beauty products for your skin, hair and nail needs - Duration: 6:03.

We'd all love beauty products to be tailored for us, right? Thankfully there's a new trend sweeping the industry and it's all about personalised products and services you can customise for the perfect fit for you

Whether it's your exact shade of foundation or hair colour, or an eyeshadow palette full of only the shades you want to wear, this really is a trend we can all get on board with

We take a look at the best new products promising to work for everyone. The moisturiser you personalise  Clinique's original three-step system was ground-breaking for the 1960s, but for 2019, you can customise your skin regime a lot more with Clinique iD, £36

You choose from three Dramatically Different moisturisers (lotion, gel or jelly), then pick one of five 'actives' cartridges for your main concern, like wrinkles or uneven skin tone

Then click the two together, so each pump delivers the ideal dose of your skin prescription

Worth a look?  Totally. We really like the classic Dramatically Different moisturisers, £31, anyway, and for a fiver extra you're getting a souped-up version with serum-style actives

And unlike a lot of click-and-mix formulas that lose their potency after a couple of weeks, this one stays good to use until the bottle runs out

The palette you create  Do all your make-up palettes have two shades worn down to the metal while the others are untouched? You might like Beautonomy, a site that lets you truly personalise a palette, from £27

35. You choose between five to eight eyeshadows, blushers, bronzer and highlighters, and also pick the design on the case

If none of the templates catch your eye you can even upload a photo of your own. Worth a look?  These days you can buy great palettes for under a fiver from the likes of Revolution and MUA, which eases the guilt of the unused eyeshadow or ve

Having said that, we did really enjoy putting together a palette we'd never find in a shop

We'd advise browsing the online make-up shop first, as this has better photos than the 'palette maker' section, so you'll get a clearer idea of the shades

Our palette arrived in less than a week, and while the packaging could have looked more premium for the price, we thought the make-up quality was fab

Hence why celeb colourist Josh Wood is shaking up box dye with his own system, which is both simplified and personalised

You pick your basic permanent dye (£10, in 12 shades) and can opt to customise it by mixing in a Shade Shot Plus, £5

This makes the final result either warmer or cooler, and there are versions for brunettes and blondes

Worth a look?  The range looks modern and cool, and that, plus Josh's A-list pedigree, helps give you the confidence to try it

His website also has a consultation service to help you figure out if it's right for you

(It was ideal for our root upkeep, but see a pro if you're after a colour makeover

) We found the dye simple to use and were very pleased with the result from a mid-brown shade plus a 'warm me up' shot

It covered greys without looking heavy, and gave a subtle richness to our hair. The volume you adjust  Lots of us want fuller hair, but how do you fancy controlling exactly HOW much you pump up that volume? That's the idea behind Living Proof Body Builder, from £10, a volumising hairspray with a unique nozzle: the further you twist it, the larger the particles of hair volumiser it delivers

The theory is: bigger particles = bigger hair. Worth a look?  Described to us as'like filling out your hair with tiny invisible balloons', it certainly did puff out our hair

It also smells nice, adds heat protection and doesn't have a sticky or crunchy feel

We tried the min and max volume settings on either side of our head to compare and there WAS a tiny difference, but not so anyone else would notice

It's a great volumiser, though, whatever the nozzle setting. Do you need a bespoke base?  Apparently, 70% of women wear the wrong shade of foundation, which is why Avon has introduced a Personalised Beauty app for its reps that analyses people's skin tones via a phone camera

There are also more and more brands widening their off -the-peg base shades – for instance Morphe Fluidity foundation, £16, comes in 60 shades organised by four different undertones

And if you still can't find The One? Estée Lauder Doublewear foundation already comes in 61 shades, £33

50, but as of 18 March the brand's trialling a custom-blend service at Debenhams Oxford Street that will make you a bespoke base for the same price
