Hello everyone~
Today I've prepared another Korean lesson video!
5 Korean expressions that you must know before coming to Korea
This is the subject of today's Korean lesson :-)
Before I start the lesson
there's something I would like to tell you
Just like I told you in the earlier video
I've prepared a very good offer from the website called italki
You can learn every language in the world on italki
with native speakers! (Customized lessons)
Not only about Korean, but also about Japanese, Portuguese, English
whatever you want to learn, you can learn it here
If you click the link in the description box
and if you make your first 10 dollars purchase
You can get 10 dollars italki credits back in 48 hours
So it's like, you can spend 10 dollars and you get 10 dollars credit back! = Buy 1 Get 1
So if you were thinking to learn foreign languages
Don't miss this opportunity
I don't know when this offer ends
so grab the chance, click the link and learn the foreign languages!
And let's start the Korean lesson!
5 expressions that you must know before coming to Korea
First, the most basic one!
I personally think this is a must wherever you go
Learning how to say Hi in Korean!
Hello in Korean. I think almost everyone already knows this
There are two ways
First, when you say hello to friends: 안녕 (Annyeong)
But the second method: Most of you would come to Korea to TRAVEL!
In case of traveling, you won't have many chances to use 안녕
Instead of this, you should remember the second one
The second one is: 안녕하세요(Annyeong haseyo)
It's not pronounced like, Se Yo~ Just clearly! 세 요!
안녕하세요
Whoever you meet when you're traveling in Korea, Just use 안녕하세요
안녕 is for friends(Someone who has the same or younger age then you)
So when you say hello to clerks, staffs
Use 안녕하세요.
Now, second useful expression!
Now you learned 안녕하세요, so it's time to learn Bye!
Bye in Korean!
I think you already know this one too
안녕 was hello a few seconds ago, but this time, 안녕 is bye!
It's totally same, but it becomes different depends on the situation
If you use 안녕 when you meet someone, it's hello
But if you use 안녕 when someone's leaving, it's Bye!
But remember these! 안녕히가세요 & 안녕히계세요
Annyeonghi ga se yo Annyeonghi Gae se yo
Those two are bye in Korean (Honorifics)
Choose one between two and use it to every person you meet in Korea!
But two have different meanings
You can notice that the end part is different, can't you?
This difference makes the different meanings
Firstly, 안녕히 "가세요." Ga se yo means, Please "go well."
Please go well~
If you are staying somewhere and someone else is leaving,
use 안녕히 가세요~ Please go well!
But in contrary, 안녕히 "계세요"
This one means, please "Stay well"
So the situation is also opposite. When you are leaving someone, use 안녕히계세요
So, it's different from the situation
안녕히가세요 = Please go well 안녕히계세요 = Please stay well!
This time, I'll tell you how to say "Thank you"
Thank you in Korean
This is also a popular expression
When you're using this to friends, "고마워"
But just like others, you'll not use this much in Korea
You'll have to use honorifics!
It's, 감사합니다 gam sa hap ni da
It's not pronounced like Gam Sa Hap Ni Da. Just connect the all sounds
감사합니다~
Forth expression: Sorry in Korean!
Firstly, to your friends, it's 미안해 mi an hae
Mi an hae~ 미안해!
But you will have to use this expression
죄송합니다 Choi song hap ni da
If you step on someone's foot by mistake
In that situation, don't use 미안해 If you say 미안해, people will be mad at you
Are you looking down on me?!
So in that case, you must use 죄송합니다
Please try to repeat the sound I make
For last, fifth expression!
I chose this expression because I thought many of you would come to Korea to travel!
How much is this? 이거 얼마에요? Igo ulmaeyo?
이거 얼마에요? Igo Ulmaeyo?
The reason I put 이거 in the brackets is because actually you can omit this
It may sounds weird in English to say "This, how much?" But in Korean it's very natural
I'll write 5 expressions that I taught you again
No.1 was Hi: 안녕하세요
No.2 was Bye: 안녕히계세요 / 안녕히가세요
If you are leaving, it's 안녕히계세요
But if someone's leaving you, you say 안녕히가세요
No.3 was thank you: 감사합니다
No.4 was Sorry: 죄송합니다
No.5 was How much is this: 이거 얼마에요?
Let me give you a situation
Let's suppose you came to Korea And you went to the cosmetics shop
Then there must be a staff who works there
In that situation, you say 안녕하세요
And you were looking around, but you accidentally bumped into someone!
Then you must say 죄송합니다
If you finished looking around and decided to buy this!
Then you have to say No.5: 이거 얼마에요?
And you purchased the cosmetics and you'll leave,
You would like to say thank you to the staff, so you say 감사합니다
And then, you'll leave the store!
and the staff will stay in the store
So 안녕히계세요 is the right expression :-)
That was all I prepared for "5 Korean expressions that you must know before coming to Korea"

Sage Northcutt's UFC Back and Biceps Workout - Duration: 4:10.
I'm UFC Fighter, Sage Northcutt,
I'm currently the youngest fighter in the UFC.
Today I'm taking you through a back and bicep workout.
The goal of this workout is to maintain
your strength, speed, and explosion.
So you'll see in this workout you have low reps,
high reps, kind of all over the place.
And that's to maintain the strength but also the
explosion of speed, all throughout the workout.
This workout should take about 40 to 45 minutes.
We're going to keep our rest periods to a minute.
Let's get started!
So the first exercise we have is deadlifts, sumo style.
So we have three sets of five reps.
I like to have my feet typically in a 45 degree angle
and just wide enough that's almost
towards the end of the bar.
I like to do sumo style just because it translates for my sport.
Maybe the guys on the ground, your opponent,
you have to reach down Gable grip and grab him
and pick him up and suplex him.
That translates, you have the hip strength and drive
but also lower back power.
So moving on a t-bar rows.
We're going to do three sets of eight reps.
And the reason for the t-bar rows is it has a pulling factor.
So when I'm grappling out there in the octagon,
you have to have a push and a pull.
So for this exercise you maintain that pull.
So when I do the t-bar rows,
I like to do a full range of movement.
So when I put the weight back down to the ground,
that's to engage the tiny fibers and muscles inside your lats.
So next we have chin-ups using a v-grip,
three sets of ten reps.
So similar to the t-bar rows,
the chin-ups using the v-bar grip,
that's to maintain the pull strength.
With the wide variety of techniques
you run into inside the octagon,
you need that part of the muscles.
So next we have chin-ups with hand towel.
We're doing two sets of ten to fifteen reps.
You're not only engaging your lats big time,
you're also kind of kicking in the biceps.
The main part of the strength though
if you look at your fingers,
it comes from your pinky.
So when you have that pinky grip,
that's what's really engaging
and it really kicks in those weird muscles throughout
your forearms that you need when you're out there.
So now moving on to biceps
our first exercise is straight bar curls,
three sets of eight reps.
I like to increase the weight every single set.
So we have three sets of 8 reps,
going heavier each set,
and that's just to maintain the strength as you go heavier.
Alright, moving onto the next exercise.
We have underhand grip pulldowns,
three sets of eight to ten reps.
I like to make sure have good posture
and really getting a stretch on each rep
but also keeping your hands about shoulder width apart.
And then we have the last exercise: reverse curls,
two sets of eight to ten reps.
So I'm ending the workout for the biceps for this exercise
just because you're kind of working your way down
from the main part of your biceps all
the way down to the smallest part.
I typically like to do this workout twice a week.
And you can do it any order you want
but typically I like to mix all in together: back and biceps.
The full breakdown for this workout is detailed for you
below here on bodybuilding.com.

Drag Lingo Explained | Chicago Drag Queens Teach You Drag Lingo - Duration: 4:08.
oh, she fishy!
You can't clock my mug.
Tick-tock, tick-tock!
Hi I'm Imp Queen.
Hi I'm Discord Addams.
My name is Eva Young.
I'm The Vixen.
My name is Aurora Gozmic.
I've been doing drag for like 2 years.
5 years.
6 years now.
I've been doing drag for 9 years now.
Busted is when...
walk into the club and you see that drag queen that you hate with the really bad makeup.
You know, that bitch is busted.
The makeup is not good, the hair is not good.
Cracked, crumbling, and falling apart.
Hips are lopsided.
Girl, now you look busted.
Sickening is...
you are so gorgeous that I'm nauseous.
Those shoes are SICKENING!
Clocked!
(Tongue pop) That's a man Maury.
Or, let's be proper.
That's an assigned male at birth person, Maury.
Girl, I can see your boy hair. I clocked you.
You can't clock my mug!
Sometimes, you can say as a shade to another girl,
Tick-tock tick-tock!
A death drop...
Where you drop to the ground that it looks like you died.
I've been doing death drop since before I did drag,
because I started in the ball scene where voguing is very prominent.
Once you get it right, it is a really good trick to pull out.
Girl, if I death dropped I would not be getting off the ground.
I'm so sick of seeing death drops.
Like every drag queen thinks that
in ordered to be a drag queen, you have to go on stage,
dance your heart out, and end it with a death drop.
Carrying is a new one.
You're carrying bitch. Like, why you keep talking about this.
Like why you keep doing it. like bitch you're carrying!
Paint is makeup.
So, when you makeup is good, you are PAINTED!
Fishy just means that you're looking
particularly feminine.
Whatever that means.
She looks like a woman.
Real or unclockable.
I am not fishy, I'm clown fishy.
And butch is someone who comes off a little more masculine
even in drag.
Oh, she fishy! She thinks she's fishy!
Oh, you look a little butch right there though,
I don't know about that!
Girl, you're gonna get me talking about trade?
Trade is a widely misused term.
Now it just means like: Oh, that boy is hot.
Trade to someone that you take home from a club
Or you're just like, "Mmm, that boy is a trade."
I have been wandering my entire life where that came from
it used to mean much more specifically straight identified (men)
and was available for sex with trans feminine people or queens
for some sort of trade.
I've been in the relationship for 4 years.
I don't take home Trade.
Discord, one of the queens on the shoot, is dating another queen named Gidget.
We have sex, so kai kai is when two drag queens are getting it.
Tuck is when...
You turn your male parts into female parts.
Make it all smooth.
Pulling it back and putting it inside your butt crack.
Some girls use tape
I just smush it down with layers of tights.
Tuck is a myth.
It does not exist. it's not a real thing.
Reading is...
Playfully call somebody out.
Art form of an insult.
We don't mean it from a place of hate.
it's just kind of like pointing out their flaws.
If reads aren't funny, you're just a bitch.
Now, if I was to imply something that I knew you're insecure about
That's shade.
Shade works on the art of implication and inference.
Shade is like when you (bleep) hate that person.
I didn't say it but I made you think it.
T is the truth.
Let me tell you the situation.
You can spill the tea, which is a popular way to say.
It's like nice to have a little tea party every once in a while.
"What's the tea girl" just basically means what's up.
Drag is the art form of performing gender.
so you can do drag as any gender
and be dressed as or presenting as any gender.
Biological women can do drag, trans women can do drag, you know, straight man can do drag
You have drag kings, drag queens, bio queens, femme queens,
butch queen realness up in drag
A lot of people are acknowledging that drag is not
a man in a dress and a wig necessarily
and that there's a lot more room for it to be
sort of a queer expression of gender and beauty.

LEARN ENGLISH - Important Phrasal verbs with 'CALL' | Free English Lesson | ESL - Duration: 5:39.
Hello everyone, welcome to Learning with Friends.
Today we are going to discuss the phrasal verbs of the verb "call".
To understand what phrasal verbs are and to watch our other videos on phrasal verbs, click
here.
1.
The first phrasal verb that we will discuss is "Call back".
This is commonly used and it means 'to return a phone call'.
For example, Since I was in a meeting, I could not take my mother's call.
So, I called her back when I was free.
2.
The next phrasal verb is "call for".
It means to require or to make necessary.
For example, His promotion calls for a celebration.
The scam report calls for an urgent change of leadership.
call for something also means to publicly demand for something to happen: Environmentalists
have been calling for a complete ban on the use of plastic.
Media houses have been calling for the resignation of the minister who slapped a journalist.
and then there is third context in which call for can be used, that is, to pick up someone
in order to go somewhere.
for example I will call for Sunita at 6pm, please ask her to be ready for the dinner.
lets also quickly learn the meaning of the phrase 'not called for' or 'uncalled for',
which means rude or not appropriate.
I apologize for my sister's uncalled-for personal comments.
His shouting at us was completely not called for.
3.
Next we have - call forth which means to elicit or bring out a reaction.
The proposed building on the children's park has called forth an angry response from the
residents.
The much loved President's last speech called forth tears as well as smiles.
4.
Let's look at Call off which means to cancel.
The meeting was called off after one of the directors took ill.
We had to call off our picnic plan as it started to rain heavily.
5.
Next, call on which means to visit someone.
My father's friends call on him every Sunday.
I plan to call on my old uncle this weekend - it has been ages since I last met him.
Another meaning of call on is to ask or request someone to do something.
This is generally used for a formal situation, for example, women's organizations called
on the government to ensure safety of women in the capital.
During the war, the President called on all able bodied men and women to join the army.
6.
Next, call in.
Call in means to ask for help of an expert or a specialist.
After the doctors at the local hospital failed to help his sick father, he called in a specialist
from the city.
When we found a large snake in our backyard, we had to call in a professional snake catcher.
Call in also means to make a telephone call to a radio or a television program:
Today is Kishore Kumar's birthday, and many music lovers have called in requesting to
play his songs.
Lets now understand a related phrase 'to call in sick".
when you call in sick you inform your office or boss by telephone that you will be absent
from work because of being ill.
If you keep calling in sick every Friday, your seniors will understand that you are
just making an excuse.
Next is call after.
Call after means to give a baby the same name as someone else, generally a family member.
For example, he was called after his grandfather.
That is, the baby and his grandfather have the same name.
And finally, let's look at call away: call away means to be asked to attend to something
else.
The doctor was here this morning but was called away to handle an emergency.
Another example: Don't call him away when he is working on the report, otherwise he
will not be able to meet the deadline.
