If St. Petersburg is Russia's imperial crown then
Moscow is its familial heart.
We reached the major political, economic and
cultural centre of Russia and Eastern Europe
after a long train journey.
Moscow here we come!
Moscow's architecture is world-renowned.
On top of that is the Russian cuisine colourful
and vibrant as their many festivals.
We checked in to the legendary Hotel Metropol
at Red Square its more than 100 years old and as we say
old is gold it gives a vibe of a
beautiful royal palace.
One word to describe this hotel is opulence.
Local sight-seeing around Red Square represents the
heart of the city. We strolled and reached the
Arbat Street, one of the oldest surviving streets dotted
with distinctive decorative
street lanterns. There were street-side restaurants and
cafes that cater to the working population and middle
class. We randomly entered a Russian roadside old cafe
for steak dinner with fries and halibut.
At Hotel Metropol's Grand ball room we had a
heavy buffet breakfast including blini, caviar,
cereals, sausages, smoked salmon, pancakes, danish,
a variety of cheese and bread, mushrooms, herrings,
cold cuts, hash browns, sunny side ups and what not!
With beautiful decor and
a lady playing the harp adds up to ambience
more than a royal feast breakfast. Overall
an experience unmatchable!
We took a city tour bus to explore Moscow.
The first spot was the site of the Cathedral
of Christ the Savior and the Seven Sisters.
The decoration of the Necropolis of the Archangel's
Cathedral facades in the style of Renaissance that
influence over the further life of the
Russian architecture. Then we went to sparrow hill
garden one of the highest points in Moscow
which offers a panoramic view of the city.
Near it was Moscow State University. We took
a break at Pobedy Ploshchad where we had coffee and
Russian cake Napoleon at a local coffee place.
The ride continued and we saw the candy coloured
onion domes of St Basil's Cathedral
stands out as we entered Red Square, wandered over the
extravagant landmark for a close-up
view. As much a city icon as the Kremlin,
the cathedral is attention-grabbing with its architecture
and design.
For dinner, we went to highly recommended Cafe
Pushkin, a formal fine dining restaurant
luxurious and stylish along with the old world charm.
It's the restaurant of so-called 'library' level
that is the place to see and be-seen in.
There is a separate cellar
for keeping coats. This is more like an experience or
package attached more than the food as
you have to take care of your pockets.
Russian thali as I call it is highly rated where different
kinds of Russian food roast potato, salads, stroganoff,
pelmeni in small portions are served
with vodka in order to sample the entire cuisine.
My quest is to try different levels of
restaurants from fine dining to street side vendors
different kinds of cuisine and the serving manners
and so on. Good food can be provided by any strata of
restaurants.
We explored Moscow metro stations to discover the
city's underground treasures. Saw the
most interesting stations with extravagant
Soviet-era architecture. The grandiose and
pompous design at Kurskaya Station reflects Stalin's
communist ideals that symbolises
the 'victory' of his regime over poverty and starvation.
Next, we admired the magnificent
bronze sculptures that depict the people of the
former Soviet Union at Ploshchad Revolyutsii station.
Park Pobedy, is the deepest station
At Komsomolskaya Station discover
the Baroque décor, vaulted ceilings and chandeliers.
While walking expedition of admiring the sculptures
and artistic paintings, our tummy started
growling and we ended up at a local cafe near
the metro station. Ideally, Fitbit suggests
10,000 steps a day and we walked more than
17,000 steps which achieved above the goal.
We were so happy that we were hogging more
than allowed. We ordered brosch, steak with salad, stir
fried veggies. Since we were in the
blini land we tried stuffing inside blini as stuffed
pancakes and for deserts stoodle
with raspberry sauce and custard, tiramisu and
chocolate cheese cake with coffee. After
this heavy meal we were so tired we walked back to our
hotel room and rested.
As Our Russian trip was coming to an end.
The next day was another place, another country
so we winded up quickly and had dinner at a local
restaurant at Red Square
grilled fish with sides of salad and rice and Chicken

How to Put on a Posture Brace | Improve and Correct Rounded Shoulders - Duration: 1:35.
The BraceAbility posture corrector is easily adjustable. If it's too large, please follow these simple steps to making it smaller.
Begin by slipping your arms through each side of the posture brace much like you would put on a backpack.
Pull the straps
forward and up to attach to the shoulder padding. If you feel as though you're reaching too far back to
attach the straps they may be too long and you will need to cut them.
Remove the alligator clips that are located at the end of each strap. Grab a pair of scissors.
Use the scissors to cut the strap short enough so that it attaches just below your collarbone,
but be careful because once you trim the posture brace it can no longer be returned. Do not worry as the material will never fray.
Reattach the alligator clip and secure the strap to the shoulder padding on this brace.
Repeat the process for the second strap.
The back of this brace can also be further adjusted. The D-Ring piece can be removed and reattached.
Make sure that it sits in the middle of the back between the shoulder blades.
Feel free to trim the felt back back to your liking.
If you'd like to increase or decrease tension throughout the day tighten or loosen the straps to your comfort level.
Once adjusted the top of the backpack should be in line with the top of your shoulders.

Jeep Wrangler Rugged Ridge Adjustable Door Straps (1987-2006 YJ, TJ) Review & Install - Duration: 2:52.
These Rugged Ridge Adjustable Door Straps are for those of you that have a 1987 to 2006
YJ or TJ, and are looking for an adjustable set of door straps to either limit how far
your door swing open, or as an upgrade and replacement to a broken or worn-out set of
straps.
The straps from the factory are the same sort of canvas material, eventually they can rip.
So if you're looking to replace them and, as I said before, get an upgrade so you have
an adjustable set of straps, this is gonna be a great option for you.
Now, reasons that you might want to limit how far the door opens include having a set
of mirror movers installed.
I know in my TJ, I move the mirrors from the doors up on the A pillars so I can take the
doors off and still have mirrors.
However, when I have those mirrors adjusted properly, the doors swinging all the way open
will let the door hit the mirror.
It knocks the mirror out of adjustment.
It can scratch the paint on the door.
Either way, not a good scenario.
So, having an adjustable set of door straps like this will allow the door to limit, not
open the full 90 degrees, certainly not opening further than that, and stop just short of
hitting my mirror.
So that's where these really fall into place, they're a great option for that.
They're very inexpensive, very easy to install.
As far as construction goes, these are going to be built of a similar material to your
factory door straps, but they have a bunch of different adjustment locations, so you
can change where they attach onto the tub side of your Jeep, limiting how far that door
will swing open.
Install is a very simple one out of three wrenches.
This is only going to take you about 15 minutes to get it installed.
All you'll need to do is remove the the factory door strap from the tub side of the your Jeep,
just unhooking it off the hook.
Then there are going to be two small torques bolts, that you'll have to remove to get the
rest of the door strap completely removed off of your Jeep.
Then you'll take one end of your new strap, hook it onto that metal footman loop, reattach
it with the factory screws, and then attach the other end of your strap on to the hook
on the tub side of the Jeep at whichever adjustment level you want.
Now,, you can set it.
You can see how far it actually swings open.
You can very easily adjust it.
Of course, this is designed to pop off very easily when you're taking your doors on and
off, so it allows you to adjust it very quickly and very easily.
These door straps are less than $10.
I think that you're going to get a ton of functionality out of them.
They're going to be a great upgrade and replacement for a broken or torn set of factory straps.
All in all, I don't think you can go wrong at this price.
