Hello everyone! I wanted to quickly discuss one of the most common questions
that our firm receives,which is "why does the hearing process take so long?" After
your request for reconsideration has been denied, you're anywhere from 8 to 10
months into the Social Security disability (SSD) claims process, depending
on how long it took you to file your appeal. You now have another 60 days to
appeal the denied reconsideration request. Unfortunately, this is when the
real waiting begins. After the request for reconsideration, the next stage of
the disability appeal process is the disability hearing. At this stage of the
appeal, you will bring your case before an administrative law judge (ALJ) and you
want to make sure you're working with a qualified disability representative when
doing so. At this point it can take a year or more to have your hearing
scheduled due to the SSA's hearing backlog. Keep in mind that SSA is
receiving hundreds of thousands of applications for benefits each month and
most of those applications are getting denied at both the initial and
reconsideration stages. So then, they move on to file a request for a hearing, thus
creating and adding to the enormous backlog. So, by the time your hearing date
arrives, you may be two years into the disability process. The good news is that
we have a significantly higher chance of winning your claim at the hearing. To
increase your chances of being awarded disability benefits, you should have a
disability representative by your side at your hearing. While it might sound
easy for us to say that, statistically you are more likely to win with
representation. If you are not awarded benefits at your hearing due to a lack
of proper legal representation, you may be waiting for another two years or more
while you go through the disability application and appeals process all over
again. This is not a process you will wish to repeat! Fortunately, there are
also many other ways to increase your chances of winning at the hearing, which
we'll discuss in a later video. In the meantime, if you have any questions,

Blackboard Collaborate with the Ultra experience is a real-time video conferencing tool that
lets you add files, share applications, and use a virtual whiteboard to interact.
Let's take a quick tour.
You will find the Session menu on the left, the Collaborate panel on the right, and audio
and video controls at the bottom.
First, let's take a look at the Session menu.
Here, you will find the information to call in on your phone, resources to learn more
about using Collaborate, and the option to leave the session.
If you are a moderator you will also have the ability to start and stop a session recordings
from this menu.
Next, let's take a look at the Collaborate panel.
Open the My Settings panel to add your profile picture, complete your audio and video set
up, and adjust your notification settings.
If you are a moderator, you can control session settings by allowing or revoking attendee
permissions.
On the chat panel, you can chat with everyone in the session, or you can send a private
message to another attendee.
Additionally, moderators have a dedicated private channel.
Next, access the attendees panel to see who has joined the session.
You can detach the attendees panel to keep it visible at all times.
From the attendee controls menu, you can send a private message.
Additionally, moderators can promote attendees to moderator, presenter, or captioner, mute
the attendee, or remove the attendee from the session.
From the more options menu at the top of the list, the moderator can mute all attendees.

Make A Difference Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! - Duration: 3:40.
Hello, I'm Brandi at the Stampin' Up! Home Office. I'd like to show you an amazing
stamp set called Make a Difference. This is a 143-piece
photopolymer stamp set. It's designed to help you add creator markings to the
back of your creations. So you get some pieces that say things like "homemade by"
or "handcrafted just for you." Let's check out one of these samples with a card
back. So here's the cute little card that I made, then if you flip over to the back--
"Hand stamped by Shelli" (gave her a little credit there). The set has two
different alphabet designs, and a full set of numbers. You even get several sets
of these double letters. See the double F double T, even a th. Also, the stamp set
has a really tiny footprint--meaning you can put the letters really close
together on a block. That's how we stamped this little "hello" at the top of
this project. So you could just build your word right on a block and stamp it
over and over again. Another option is you can mount your letters individually
like I've done here. Let's go ahead and make a project. On this project I'm
just going to stamp the word "hello" so I've got my Pear Pizzazz ink all ready, and
here's my letter H, so let's start there. And then when I grab the e, because this
is photopolymer, it's pretty simple to just line it up and go right next to
that, for that joined-up look. And then this double L comes in handy. And of
course finish up with the O. And here's how the finished project
looks. Cute little hello, and it's pretty simple to stamp those letters one at a
time. But if you want a little shortcut, let's try using the Stamparatus. On this
project, I want to stamp the word "congratulations" and that's quite a few
letters! So I figured I would use my Stamparatus to help me out. So I've got
my little strip of paper ready, and this is how I like to measure up and see
where to lay my paper. I've just got some washi tape here. And what I've put up
here is every other letter to spell congratulations, and then over here I've
got the opposite letters. So let's just tap a little Rich Razzleberry ink on there.
And it's pretty easy to get that right back into my spot
doesn't look like it says much yet, but let's add all the other letters. And
there you go! So here is my finished sample with my congratulations. Now, if I
have my Stamparatus set up that way, I can make a whole bunch of cards. And then
of course, for the back of my card, I've added a creator marking there to go to
my website. Here's another peek at all our pretty

Why you need a Stamparatus - Duration: 3:12.
Hi everyone, I'm Jessica, and I'm here to talk about the Stamparatus.
I love stamping!
But that doesn't mean I don't run into problems when I stamp.
Like always getting a good image, or lining up stamps perfectly when I'm two-step stamping.
It can also take a lot of time to create multiples of a project.
I love my Stamparatus because it solves all of these problems.
When you think of the Stamparatus remember the number two. It works with both red rubber and photopolymer stamps.
For photopolymer use the foam mat and for red rubber remove the mat.
The Stamparatus has two open sides, so you can use any size of paper. Also, it has two reversible,
interchangeable plates.
The Stamparatus has two magnets to hold your paper in place with cubbies underneath for magnet storage.
On the base of your Stamparatus is a ruler and a grid
to help with precision. There are non-skid feet on the bottom, so that the Stamparatus stays in place on your surface.
The Stamparatus reduces halos around stamped images.
If you don't get complete ink coverage the first time. Don't worry. You can stamp again in the exact same place.
I find that I only need one magnet when I stamp.
The magnets are really strong
so it's important to keep them away from each other or they can break. If you find you need additional magnets
they are sold separately. The Stamparatus makes it simple to align images for perfect placement,
especially when your two-step stamping. Since you have two plates and the plates each have two sides,
you don't need as many blocks when you stamp which is an added bonus.
Also it makes it easy to create multiples of the same card.
Once you have positioned your stamps the first time, you can repeat stamping again and again.
I find I make fewer mistakes when I'm using the Stamparatus.
Which means less waste!
One of my favorite features of the tool is hinge step stamping.
Move the plate down one hinge at a time to create a pattern. If you get ink on the base of your Stamparatus,
that's okay. You can just wipe it right off.
Dependent on the project you'll want to place your paper on a different spot on the base.
No matter where you place your layer make sure when you stamp you apply even pressure directly above the stamp.
Just like you would with a block.
Also dependent on where your stamp is mounted on the plate, you may need to apply more or less pressure. For example,
stamping near the hinge you need to press a little harder than if your stamp is mounted in the middle of the plate.
The Stamparatus is a high quality product. The durable plates and base are meant to absorb the pressure
necessary to get the image that you want anywhere on its surface.
I think you'll find that the Stamparatus saves you time,
opens up opportunities for new techniques and make stamping simple and fun.

That means we are not ready for this full display screen phone!
The virtual keys is like a patch transition
That's why on MIUI 9.5 we proposed a full screen user interaction scheme
in order to full replace the previous virtual key way via simple gestures
We got great feedback
They said how the hell we used to interact our phone like that? Now I can't never go back
Just one sentence: Once we get used to the new way we can never get back
We just invented a new way
There is another feature for the bezel-less phone: it increases a lot of space vertically
But did we fully take advantage of that in software aspect?
Here is another sample: this is the interface for managing the multi tasking
But no matter in iPhone X or Android P, it's still in this horizontal way
You can only see limited preview of one App or part of other Apps
In fact that is the trouble
So how do we change on MIUI10?
Look carefully, we enter into the interface
And then we showed the previews in vertical way!
So you see as much as 4 or 5 Apps
And the interaction becomes easier too, swipe left/right to exit the app, long press to enter into advance mode

from my friend Lisa, who works for a mattress company. And she shared a story
about how a supplier accidentally ordered the wrong size beds for a major
hotel down in the Boston area. Well, the person reached out to her and asked:
"Is there a shelter we could donate them to?" And she located a great non-profit in
southern New Hampshire, which helps homeless veterans get back on their feet.
The only challenge was they didn't have a truck to go pick up all of these
things. So Lisa reached out to the installation company who was warehousing
all of these items, and she wound up on the phone with an employee who said:
"I will deliver those for you, because that particular non-profit saved my life and
helped me to get back on my feet when I was struggling". You see, regular everyday
people like us make mistakes in life. In this particular case, the wrong size beds
were ordered. But look what happened when one person heard the opportunity, took a
little action, and made something pretty incredible happen. Whose path will you
cross today? What situations will you encounter that make you say: "I wonder if
I just took this little action, what could happen?"

President Muhammadu Buhari has signed into the law, the Not Too Young To Run Bill. The bill sought to reduce the age limit for qualification to contest political positions.
In his Democracy Day speech, Buhari had promised Nigerian youth that he would be endorsing the bill.
Now that the bill has been passed, the new age for eligibility for anyone to contest for President would be 35, and for governor and Senate 30.
Also, the bill reduced the minimum age qualification for a slot at the national and state assemblies to 25.
While signing the bill into law, Buhari, who is seeking re-election, joked that youth were free to aspire to become President, but only after the 2019 presidential election.

This book is about a society where the government chooses everything for you.

If you were to break one of these very strict rules, there are severe punishments that would
be put into place.
The book begins when the main character, Cassia, just turns 17 and must go to her Matching

I love this book because it is told from Cassia's point of view, so we can all see what she
is really thinking.
I would recommend this book for anyone who likes books about romances and the possible
advances that might be made in the future.

We hear ya, chicken, who lives near Denver Montessori Junior/senior High School
(Latch opens)
but there's no need to drag your feet.
(Chicken squawks, clucks) "Hi Phoenix!"
Your caretakers are finally here to clean up and calm you down.
"This is Lard!"
(Chicken flaps wings) "Okay."
And that's James Murphy.
Every morning, he joins classmates as they check the coop.
(Unlocking lock) "Ahh there we go, got it."
harvesting any eggs, cleaning them, preparing them for market...
And of course
(Chicken squawks loudly) "I'm sorry!"
dealing with some fowl play.
"Come on."
They might look like they're winging it.
Or are they spring chickens?
(Chicken disapproves of bad pun)

(Laughs) Happy?
