Why You Absolutely Were Not Born On A Cusp - Duration: 7:09.
I'm Patrick Watson, I'm an astrologer and you're watching BigFatAstroVlog
and this is my fancy new pop filter
It filters out my P's which are too Percussive because I'm Patrick Watson
Raise your hand if you were born on a cusp!
Cuspy babies represent!
"I'm like on the Scorpio/Sagittarius cusp, so I'm like, special, I'm like a Scorpittarius"
How do I put this gently, uh no, YOU'RE NOT.
You can't have more than one sun sign and your sun sign can't be a blend of two sun signs.
Scorpittarius was not, is not and never will be a thing.
Stop trying to make it a thing.
For that matter you're not a a Piquarius.
A Scorbra.
A Sagricorn.
A Geminaurus or Geminaurus Rex.
You're not any of these things because for all practical purposes they don't exist.
Here's why:
When someone says, "I'm an Aries" what they mean is that the Sun was in the tropical
sign of Aries at the time they exited their mother's vagina.
Because the tropical zodiac is based on the equinoxes and solstices, we know exactly,
down to the minute and second what sign the Sun is actually in at any given moment.
There are 30 degrees in each sign, and it is only once the Sun moves past 29 degrees,
59 minutes and 59 seconds of that sign that it is finally in another sign.
You're one or the other.
There's no cuspy gray area where you're kind of both.
And hey, there's gray area in a lot of things in life.
The things that happened that one night at that bachelor party that got weird.
The appropriate amount of time to wait before rebooting a movie that bombed.
Whether a vegan spits or swallows?
But the question of what sign the sun was in when you were born IS NOT FUCKING ONE OF
THEM.
It's a sun sign, not a cat that can't decide whether it's in or out.
Seriously Fluffy, you need to fucking decide. In or out? Fucking come on Fluffy. Fuck you Fluffy.
If you're not sure now what your Sun sign is, here's how to find out what sign the
Sun was actually in at the time of your birth:
Step 1.
Acquire the time of your birth.
This could be a whole other video but basically if you don't already know your birth time
you can try any of these methods for figuring it out.
Ask your parents.
They may know the exact time and you're done.
Or they may have recorded it in a baby book OR they may have other helpful details which
could help narrow down the time.
Parents finally came in handy right?
Look up your birth certificate.
Make sure to cross reference what the birth certificate says with the memories of your
parents.
Sometimes your parents' memories can be off, some times the record can be off.
If you're really young, you may even be able to look back on your parent's social
media postings to see if they included it in the official announcement, or at least
whittle down the possibilities based on the timestamp of the first baby photos or status updates
or something.
Look up your birth announcement in newspaper archives like a goddamn old person, sometimes
it'll be there, most times not.
See if you can get ahold of your medical records from the hospital you were born at and uh,
good luck with that.
If you can't get your birth time from any of these methods, you may need an astrologer
to help reverse-engineer your birth time through a process known as rectification.
Step 2.
Once you know your birth time, make an account at www.astro.com.
It's free, don't worry.
You plug in all your information, your birthdate, birthplace and birthtime and check your chart.
Look for the Sun symbol which looks like a floating boob and you'll see what sign it
is actually in.
This is my chart that I'm using as an example.
You can clearly see that despite being born on October 23rd 1987, 1:06 am, in HIgh Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, UK, my Sun is at 29 Libra,
and thus my sun sign is Libra, not Scorpio.
It's not on a cusp.
It's in Libra.
"But I feeeeel like I'm born on the cusp" you might be saying.
Well, the sign your Sun is in is just one part of your chart.
If you were born with the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Aries, then you may have some
claim to feeeeeeling like you have some Aries qualities.
Or more commonly, with the Sun in Pisces, you may be likely to have Mercury or Venus
in Aries and feeeeel that.
I'm not trying to invalidate your lived experience but I'm also saying that when
it comes to the Sun and the Moon and the planets, the so-called "cusps" are not too fuzzy.
The problem you're more likely to run into is knowing exactly what rising sign you have.
The earth rotates about 1 degree every 4 minutes, which means the eastern horizon, or your rising
sign can be close to a sign boundary.
If it is, it's going to be very important to have a precise birth time, in some cases
minutes or even seconds can make a difference in how you'd interpret a chart, but that
is a video for another time.
Another reason why the idea of cusps doesn't make sense is that astrologers for hundreds
of years have told everyone that ingresses are super important.
Ingresses are when a planet enters a sign.
For example, astrologers to this day cast charts for the exact moment the Sun enters
Aries in Washington DC to get an annual forecast for the country's political happenings.
It's called an Aries ingress chart.
Not a PiscAries Cuspy Thingy Chart.
You might be going "okay Patrick no need to be a dick to people who are just beginning
to learn astrology and might have picked this cusp stuff up without knowing any better",
but it's actually not astrology beginners who are triggering me here.
Tarot.com is ironically one of the most highly trafficked astrology websites on the internet,
and you'd think they'd know better.
But no, here is their super legit officially offish infographic on cusps.
Note the cusp between Capricorn and Aquarius is called the Cusp of Mystery and Imagination.
MYSTERY AND IMAGINATION.
Between the two signs ruled by Saturn, the greater malefic Saturn which has domain over
grief and darkness is the cusp of goddamn mystery and imagination.
Reading the in-depth explanation of these cusps will bring you to the cusp of insanity.
So, now you know that cusps are not really a thing, you can learn more about your chart.
If you're a beginner watching this video, keep playing around with your natal chart
on astro.com, learn about the planets in signs, houses, aspects, etc., and you'll be well
on your way on a journey of self-discovery and rolling your eyes condescendingly when
someone says they were born on a cusp. And then you can cusp'em out.
Ugh, fuck you Fluffy, seriously.
You're such a dang Geminaurus Rex I swear.
Fucking...In or out, c'mon man, c'mon.
Fuck you Fluffy.
Thanks for watching! If you liked this episode please give it a "like", please share it on your social media
and please subscribe to my YouTube channel, I'd really appreciate that.

Key rounds: Train vs VP, Overpass vs SK, Cobblestone vs North @ IEM Katowice (ENG SUBS) - Duration: 7:26.
Hello, my dear friends, my name is Evgeniy "Chaiwhy" Chayka,
and today I will review in details a few key rounds played by Na`Vi at IEM Katowice.
After an exchange of rounds with the Poles on Train, it was crucial to win the 8th round,
because if Na`Vi lost this round, it would damage their economy, and the score could've been disappointing 8-2.
That's why Na`Vi decided not to execute their usual A split, or B rush with focus on Lower.
They didn't waste time, and after 30 seconds of the round we saw them rushing B with 3 players from Upper and 1 from Lower.
Guardian threw a smoke between blue and red trains and controlled anti-aggro position in Upper.
Then he threw a flashbang into the site and towards Lower entrance.
After checking default positions he fell to unfortunate timing, after moving away his crosshair he received headshot from B4.
Edward throws a pop flashbang to counter Taz in Lower, and after waiting for Seized to fake-push A, he rushes Upper.
After jumping down he failed to control the spray, trying to refrag Guardian he died to Pasza.
Flamie followed Edward, covering him.
He gets an entry frag on the player at default, and receiving info about B4 player, he tries to catch him.
Then he jumps to secret and covers S1mple, while he is planting the bomb.
Cutting of retake with the smoke he exchanges health with Byali, then he uses all his utility,
understanding that from this position with low HP he is going to die to the first spray, or random HE towards default.
First, Seized counters possible Ivy push with flashbang, then he renews Guardian's smoke and throws a Molotov towards Taz.
In general he pushes all possible directions, to puzzle and delay defense.
After all those actions he moves towards B, checking for lurkers in the meantime.
Seized was just in time, when Pasza already made some mess, and he caught him from behind.
S1mple is the last player from the Upper, he smokes off the climb
and covers the back part of the plant, while Edward is out of position.
2 frags from Pasza convinced S1mple not to risk and plant on default.
Then he hides in smoke, throwing flashbangs, so retake players wouldn't hurry to push the plant.
Then S1mple walks to the Lower and kills enemies one by one.
The last rounds of the first half were of a great importance, because not only did they determine the team,
which processed the information from the last 10 rounds better, but also set the pace for the 2nd half.
In the game against SK 13th was such round, if Na`Vi had failed after they won the 12th,
they wouldn't have had enough money for a full buy for the next two rounds, and the score could've been 10-5 in favor of the Brazilians.
But in the end they had much more comfortable for the weaker side 8-7.
Understanding the importance of the round both teams played a slow control game.
Only Seized was making noise at B, bating smokes from the opponents, so they wouldn't stop offense at the most important timing.
Closer to mid-round time, S1mple and Guardian started making their way through connector.
After that, together with Edward and Flamie, who rotated from mid,
they got control of water and other positions to set up nades from.
Edward played the key role in this round.
First, he smokes off jungle, then he breaks into the site and takes down Felps, who jumped down from heaven.
Being low HP after getting a headshot and realizing the CTs had no time to rotate through connector,
he goes for a flank all the way from CT spawn and as a result, this play was rewarded with a frag in heaven.
Seized smokes off bridge and pushes into the site.
First he checks toxic, then heaven, after which he gets killed.
At this point, Edward had already taken down Felps in Pit and Seized didn't expect another CT to be in the same position.
S1mple smokes off heaven, throws a flash for Edward's push and a HE into pit.
Then he pushes into the site with a second wave, refrags Seized, plants the bomb and then watches canal to control the rotation.
Guardian smokes off walkway, comes in last into the site and starts controlling pit.
When all CTs in the site died, he starts peeking an enemy towards underpass,
forgetting that smoke in Heaven doesn't last forever either.
Flamie smokes the bomb-plant area, which allows a safe planting and molly towards jungle,
to zone the opponent or force him to go through the smoke.
Then he goes into the water and closes out the round with two frags.
Na`Vi got off to an awful start in the game against North.
Being down 11-4 after the first half and losing the pistol round could lead to a disastrous score.
However, Na`Vi managed to win the force buy and the following two ecos.
The 20th round was the deciding factor as to whether Na`Vi would be able to come back into the game or not.
Na`Vi started the round with a standard 4-1 setup towards B.
With Guardian making noise in mid, while 4 other players going for a B take through halls.
Edward drops down with no nades whatsoever and catches the enemy off guard in skyfall.
Then, he kills another one towards plateau, flashes B site and takes down the last defending CT behind the statue.
Guardian throws fake nades in mid and joins his teammates towards B.
After an entry frag in skyfall from Edward, he goes through connector, checks the doors and catches rotating MSL off guard.
Seized, after throwing a default smoke and a HE onto plateau, took a position for a pop-flash into skyfall.
But he changed his mind, and, together with s1mple, started to spray simultaneously with Edward's push.
Seized was spraying through the smoke in order to attract the CT's attention,
while S1mple was shooting the wall to drown out the jumping sound in skyfall.
Then they threw a couple of molotovs, planted the bomb and hunted down the last remaining CT.
As you may have noticed, Flamie was supporting the entry fragger this round.
But we didn't see him in action, as Edward was able to open up the site by himself.
At first, Flamie was checking the boost, then he jumped down after Edward,
supported him with nades and together with Guardian prevented any rotation from the CT.
That will be all, I hope you found this video useful,
and you'll be able to turn more than one game around using Born to Win's tactics.
Thank you for your attention, will see you soon.

13 Most Mysterious Books In History!
13.
Beale Ciphers- Also known as the Beale Papers, it is a set of three ciphertexts, one of which
supposedly reveals the location of buried gold, silver, and jewels estimated to be worth
over $63 million as of 2011.
The first ciphertext states the location, the second one contains the content of treasure,
and the third one lists the treasure's owners and their family history.
The book originates from an 1885 pamphlet of a man named Thomas J. Beale who buried
treasure back in 1820 in a secret area in Virginia.
As of 2011, the second ciphertext is the only one that remains solved.
Many people have tried to decipher the remaining two pamphlets, but all efforts remain unsolved.
12.
Prophecies of Nostradamus- Possibly one of the most sought out books in history due to
its unbelievable nature of foretelling predictions, it was written by Michel de Nostredame in
1555.
He was considered a prominent astrologer in France during the 16th century, and many people
highly respected his practice.
The work of Nostradamus has predicted some events such as the rise of Adolf Hitler, The
London Fire of 1666, the Iranian Revolution in 1979 and the September 11 terrorist attacks.
While the book is based off on judicial astrology, it was heavily criticized by many scholars
and astrologers, and the book remains prominent throughout history.
His prophecies are available online for those who are curious.
What do you think of his predictions?
11.
Ripley Scroll Book- It was written by Augustinian alchemist and monk George Ripley in the 15th
century.
The book details his travels in Europe as he searched the land of secrets behind immortality
and transmutation.
The folklore states Ripley was able to transform lead into gold using an incantation in the
pages by creating the philosopher's stone.
At the time alchemy was regarded as a mysterious subject due to its practical craft and private
study to utilize physical substances to establish longevity and spiritual perfection.
Despite the legend stating Ripley had reached eternal life, he passed away in 1490 at 75
years old.
10.
Great Omar Book- Officially known as The Sangorski Edition of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, the
book is stated to carry a curse that deemed it doomed from the beginning.
First established by Francis Sangorski and George Sutcliffe, the book is considered to
be valuable due to its precious jewel and gold binding.
The book sank along with the Titanic, and it was unretrievable in the Atlantic ocean.
A second copy that incorporated Sangorski's original illusions were unfortunately destroyed
during World War II.
It took more than twenty years to complete the third copy which was donated to the British
Library, after Stanley Bray, its maker passed away.
9.
Popol Vuh- According to a story told by a Dominican priest, Francisco Ximenez, the Popol
Vuh manuscript was gifted to him after he visited a small Guatemalan town.
Popol Vuh meaning the Book of the People depicts an intricate creation tale that consists of
cosmology teachings, planet origins, and four deities.
Although the priest cites a parishioner in the town as a source, no manuscript has ever
been found.
This incident has lead many scholars to believe that it was stolen and that he should have
never given access to it as the manuscript was thought to be an ancient secret.
He wrote the oldest surviving written account in 1701, and the paper scrolls include a preamble
and four parts.
8.
Codex Seraphinus- Originally published in 1981, this illustrated encyclopedia was created
by Italian artist and architect Luigi Serafini.
Approximately 360 pages long it is written in an imaginary language called cipher alphabet.
He was inspired to write it because he wanted to have a memento of a feeling Serafini remembered
when he was a young child before he learned how to read.
He stated that the alphabet and pictures looked like weird symbols and he knew they meant
something.
The book contains eleven chapters that cover a variety of topics that includes many animals,
plants, machines, and taboo subjects like death, birth, and sexuality.
7.
The Smithfield Decretals- Written in the fourteenth century as a collection of statutory law under
the order of Pope Gregory IX , it was fairly common to write such manuscripts.
However, its outlandish and unusual illustrations in the manuscripts gave it mystery and uniqueness.
Drawings included unicorns and bears engaged in battle, as well as an old Yoda, and a knight
fending off a giant snail brings many speculations to one's imagination.
Written by jurist Raymond of Penafort, the book's developmental work was completed
through two distinct stages.
Currently, the manuscripts are part of the Royal Library's book collection, and it is
preserved in Britain.
6.
Liber Linteus - Also known as Linen Book of Zagreb, it is the only extant linen book and
the longest Etruscan text known to be written.
It only contains 230 lines of 1,200 words.
The ancient text dates back 3rd Century BCE, and it remains a mystery due to the lack of
knowledge of the Etruscan language.
What is known about it, is that it refers to the Etruscan's people way of life before
the Roman Empire was established.
Surprisingly the book was somehow preserved even after the Etruscans were defeated by
Roman conquerors.
The script was written on wrappings that covered a mummified Egyptian wife, and it was only
discovered in the 1880's after the mummy was donated to a museum.
5.
Voynich Manuscript- Written in the early 15th century, it is the first known textbook that
covers unknown botanical plants in an unknown language.
Pictures in the book dictate plants in astronomical charts and drawings with interconnected tubes
displayed with a female anatomy.
The Voynich Manuscript is believed to have been written during the Italian Renaissance
and has been studied by many cryptographers.
The origin of the book has excited many people, and many hypotheses of its interpretation
have been made.
However, 240 pages of the book remain missing.
The manuscript is named after antique bookseller Wilfrid M. Voynich in 1912 after he purchased
it.
The book is currently on display and preserved in a glass case, but a printed version is
also available on Amazon.
4.
Book of Soyga- It was first discovered by John Dee, a mathematician, and an occultist
and it was believed to be lost for years until it was found in 1994 by a scholar in the British
Library archives.
Composed of almost two hundred pages, it details instructions and enchantments on how to perform
magic, astrological concepts, summoning demons and much more.
While most the book is written in Latin, there are also over 35,000 letters lined in 36 tables
that appear to be a cryptogram.
Taking into account the occult nature of the book, deciphering the book is said to bring
revelation which is rumored to be a curse.
Rumors say, anyone who solves the code, dies within three years.
3.
Rohonc Codex- Not much is known about the Rohonc Codex.
It was written by an unknown author in a strange language.
The text was first discovered in the 19th century in Hungary, and many scholars who
have tried to decipher the books can not come up with a point of origin, in which many Hungarian
researchers speculate the manuscript is an 18th-century hoax.
The book has 448 pages that consist of uncertain text and illustrations depicting religious
and military scenes.
Some crude drawings showcase a cross, the sun, cross and a swastika present.
The symbols in the book are believed to be a syllabary or logographs instead of an alphabet.
It remains undeciphered to this day, and it is available online for anyone who wishes
to check it out.
2.
Codex Gigas- Also known as the Devil's Bible, it is the largest extant medieval manuscript
in the world.
It was believed to be created in the 12th century, and it contains large depictions
of the devil.
The book stands 36 inches tall and contains 320 pages, some of which remain missing.
The missing pages are believed to be an encrypted text titled, "The Devil's Prayer."
Codex Gigas has a rumored legend surrounding its creation.
In one version, a monk in the middle ages broke his vows and was sentenced to be punished.
In an attempt to spare himself, he promised to write a book that would please the monastery,
but by the end of midnight, he knew he wouldn't be able to complete
it.
So he decided to ask the Devil for help in exchange for his soul.
The devil completed the book, and the book's work is said to contain calligraphy that would
have taken five years of continuous work.
1.
Dead Sea Scrolls- Considered to be one of the greats manuscripts treasures of all time,
the scrolls have been found in eleven caves across the Dead Sea Shore.
First discovered by two goat herders in 1947, the last scroll was found in 1956.
It contained many mysterious prophecies amongst other things written by Daniel, Jeremiah,
and Ezekiel.
Many of these predictions had not been found in the Bible, and the scrolls are believed
to over 2,000 years old.
It is believed one of the scrolls contains an ancient treasure map that leads to 64 locations
that have buried treasures.
