Waching daily Jun 28 2017

Hi everybody. I love cloth diapers and I'm going to tell you why.

Today, we're actually, mostly going to be focusing on washing,

the washing technique of cloth diapering. I have pre-folds and we're going to be

talking about how I wash my pre-folds. But I also want to explain to you just really

briefly why I love cloth diapers so much, and show you one of my most favorite tools

that I use with the cloth diapering and the cleaning of cloth diapering.

So, stay tuned.

Okay, guys, today is wash day. As I said, we are going to do a load of cloth

diapers. I keep my diapers in the garage because they smell a little bit,

and I usually only go about three days because otherwise, they would really

smell. So out here in the garage, I have a trash can with a lid,

and you're going to want the lid because they're kind of smelly.

Anyways, so I've got the trash can out here, keep it in the garage,

and this is the first step for doing the diapers.

Take off the smelly lid. They do start to smell a little bit, believe it or not.

Weird right? We're going to do one rinse with...to get kind of the urine out.

And if there's any bits of food or poo or anything like that, you're going to want

to rinse that out before you actually start with the soap cycle.

So, on here, I'm going to select the rinse and spin, and I'm going to do it on cold

because there is no sense in using hot water for this yet since

really the only thing your doing is just giving it a good rinse to get the

preliminary pee out, if you will.

So it's on cold and spin speed is high, and I'm going to turn on my cycle signal

so it's loud so I can be reminded. So I'm going to turn on my cycle,

we're going to do rinse, be right back. Okay, our first part of washing our cloth

diapers is complete. We set it on rinse and spin to get out the pee like I

explained. So, that's done and complete. So our diapers are in there,

they're wet but they have not been washed yet. So we're going to start in on the

next step as far as washing the diapers. We use this Biokleen laundry detergent.

It's unscented, it's free and clear of dyes and fragrances. I like it because of

those reasons. And it's also better for the environment, I feel.

Do your research though as far as what works for you guys for washing your cloth

diapers. I can tell you though, you don't want to use Tide. Nothing against Tide,

it's just not right for cloth diapers. Some of the stuff that's in the

traditional laundry detergents can strip out all the good things in the diapers and

make them less absorbent. So you want to make sure whatever you're using is safe

for cloth diapers.

So, I use the Biokleen. And what I'm going to do is, I usually do a full cap,

and then we're going to turn it and switch it over to... I just do normal casual on

mine, if you have a heavy duty, you can do that too. I do normal casual because our

water gets super hot here, so I don't really worry too much about that.

Plus were going to do two wash cycles. So, I guess if you only wanted to do one wash

cycle, you could do a heavy duty if...or the sanitary if you wanted to.

But I do two of the, just the normal. And I'm going to set it on to hot,

so it's got the hot wash and it's going to have a cold rinse. And again,

I've got my cycle signal on loud so I will be told, "Come fix me!" when they are all

done. Yeah, so that's it. So we're going to start on the second step and I will be

back again for the third step.

Alright, everybody. So, we've got two parts of our three down.

We did a rinse cycle first, we've done a wash cycle for our cloth diapers and now

I'm going to check them and we're going to do the third and final piece.

There's a little bit of soap left that I can see, so we're definitely going to want

to do another cycle, but I'm going to check them out, give them a sniff,

make sure they're on the right track. Okay, they smell pretty clean.

Now part of this is due to the fact that I have this awesome diaper sprayer.

We've actually done a video on it before so if you want to check that out,

we should have a little card here where you can do that and it's super handy.

We'll also have some information in it, in the description about it.

So if you want to check it out, go ahead.

Anyways, basically what it is, is it enables me to rinse off the diapers when

there's poo and that gets a lot of the junk off when it is kind of fresh,

basically, so it's not sitting in there like funking, getting gross.

So, that's part of it, but the other part of it is that we've done the rinse and

we've done a super hot cycle. Now, because the diapers aren't super soiled,

I'm not going to do another soap cycle, but I am going to do one more full normal

cycle on hot, with no soap, just to do a final rinse. To make sure that we get all

the soap out. Because as I just said, there is a lot bit of soap residue left,

and I do not want any of that on little baby's bottom because that could cause

irritation. Plus, you don't want the soap buildup in your cloth diapers because that

can kind of cause a problem that you'll have to deal with later.

So, I'm going to do one more hot cycle and then I'll check back in with you guys.

See there is some of the residual soap that we want to make sure we get rid of.

As I mentioned earlier, I love cloth diapers. Number one, it's part of like

helping towards the environment, I'm not throwing diapers away.

Now don't get me wrong, I do a mix of both. I do cloth diaper when we're at home

but I also use disposable. So I'm not super militant about my cloth diapering

because I totally get it.

There are some days where it's just going to be easier to do disposable.

When we're out shopping or when we travel, for example. I'm not taking cloth diapers

when we travel because that's just a little bit more than I want to deal with.

However, when we're at home and we're just chilling, which we are a lot of

the time, I am totally all about cloth diapering because when she gets wet,

I want to change her. But I feel bad, you know you get the diaper,

and there's just one little bit of pee in there. And it's like I don't want to leave

a wet diaper on her but at the same time, you know, it's like I'm wasting a diaper

and I feel bad wrapping up that diaper up and throwing it in the trash.

So, my happy spot is when we're home, I cloth diaper. And because I've probably

got of this particular size, this is the size large I believe. Of this particular

size, I've probably got 50 or 60 diapers and so, I'm good. I wash every three days

or so. And when we're home, I...it makes me feel good. So, definitely,

like for the environment. That's one of the issues. Number two,

economically, it makes a lot of sense for our family. We're a single income family,

I'm a stay-at-home mom. And, any little bit I can ease off of having to pay for

things, I'm going to do it. And I've done the math, washing cloth diapers is by far

cheaper than buying disposable diapers as you would imagine.

Now, once you get... I mean there is an initial investment, but once you get past

that initial investment, it's super cheap. I think we figured out that it was under

$1 a load. So, that makes a lot of sense for me. So those are two huge

reasons why I love cloth diapering, plus, there's something really adorable about a

big ol' cloth diaper booty on a baby. I think it's super cute. So those are the

things that I really...two of the biggest things, there's other things I like about

cloth diapering, but the two big things for me.

Okay everybody. The third cycle is done, and I believe that's all we're going to do

as far as washing goes. So, we did the rinse and we've done two wash cycles.

The first wash cycle had soap, of course, the second one did not just to make sure

we got all the soap out. So I am going to take them out. They smell good.

They're definitely clean. No soap residue, and now I'm going to throw them in the

dryer. And actually, during the summer time, I usually hang dry them outside.

We have this amazing rack which is kind of collapsed right now.

There is actually nothing better than drying them in the sunshine because A,

the sun is bleaching them out naturally, and B, you're not using any energy to dry

them. But, we have been having some kind of weird weather today,

so I am going to be putting them in the dryer. Now, when you dry them in the

dryer, you want to use a hot heat. Because you want to make sure they get completely

dry. Because you don't want to put them away with any moisture in there because of

the possibility of mold. It's not a great possibility, but you don't want to mess

around with that.

So, in the dryer, they go. So, I will dry them probably for about 45, 50 minutes and

check them, just to make sure that they are completely dry. Okay, so,

that's it. Not too hard right? Doesn't look so bad? It's actually not bad at all.

You just pick a day when you're going to be around for a couple hours,

or set timers, or turn your dinger up on your washing machine so it's really loud

and annoying when it's done. And then you're done. You have a big ol' pile of

fresh, clean, not chemically yucky, nothing. You have this nice pile of clean

cloth diapers that you just washed and you're ready to put on your baby.

It's getting crowded up here

But I don't see anyone around me

With my eyes open

Still it's good to see you everyday

It's nice to talk to you everyday

I'm glad I find you in a haze

To know there's no one in our way

But I wish just that you were real

Oh and I just wish that I could feel

When you're around

If there's more love

Then there's more pain

If that's why I imagine you

To keep me sane

If all these feelings

All those before me

If they're not real

I must be lucky

Oh and I just wish that it's all true

Oh and I wish I could come up to you

If the sky's never ending

Then so is time we'll always carry on

I drew your picture

And put it on my memory wall

I don't fear of loosing you

You'll always be safe in my memories

On my mind

Lost myself in all of you

Found myself in all of you

No restraints when I'm with you

Divine intervention

I'm all you

And I wish that you were real

Oh and I wish that I could feel

And I wish that it's all true

Oh and I wish I could come up to you

"Fabricated Delirium" cat: education - Duration: 7:02.

Hello dear inhabitants, Many look towards the sky for their creator,

whether it be religious exegesis or extraterrestrial contrivance.

A wealth of evidence within delineations of biology are obtainable...

This process is equatable, allowing for a egalitarian perception, actual cognizance

of what is observed.

An idea is simply an idea without fruition or at least verification of sedulous direction.

We stand before one another and claim one has more rights than another.

This is no more than egocentricity and a supercilious foray dictate society.

The proof is in humans disarray...

There are a few that believe Earth is flat, ostensibly not realizing that a flat Earth

would be incapable of sustaining this form or generate an electromagnetic field and would

have never existed, let alone be obliterated by atomic nuclei, solar winds and a host of

variables.

The fanciful mind is non accepting of this amalgamation, leading many well beyond the

perimeter of reality in a already distorted existence.

There is also a deceptive input on this subject to create disruption, like in many things

we hear and read about.

There are particulars with the intent to agitate the public for specific directive.

Any spoken word and or activity has and will be used against human for control and manipulation

if it can be perverted in some way.

Comprehending this will refine the mind and lesson the opportunities for the unprincipled...

The (LEC) low emotional cognitive mind will always focus on self, not self preservation

firstly, but self indulgence, illusory fulfillment and only then preservation!

Human is a creation of the Earth and are the molecular structure forged from this spheroid...

"Quite fitting to be dubbed Mother Earth".

We are electromagnetic ephemeral tellurians, nothing

more than the synthesis of elements.

This is why the correlation between microbiome found in all life coincide with resonance,

natural frequency...

Microorganisms retain their own field so to try and measure humans field independently

is not plausible.

This is one of the reasons a blood electrifier can be harmful if not used in moderation.

Nothing will replace foot to ground producing a natural interrelationship between human

and microbiome electromagnetic fields...

I encourage all to take a moment to engage yourselves in cogitation about the fact that

all is clear when observing ones self and environs.

I believe you will find this as simplistic as breathing when not disinclined.

A benighted salient example,,, compensation for violence century after century for entertainment!

Please take notice how uncomplicated it is to avow infantile behavior.

Consider the amount of humans that participate in this, one form or another...

Every one knows violence, aggression is no more than the inability to rationalize with

ones self, resulting in discomposure, perturbation...

Is it not doleful to witness the many ask what is wrong with society, when it is their

own fatuous choice that perpetuates dysfunction?

This is like having an other's belongings in pocket and denying you have stole them.

Mustn't we participate in what actually is to evolve, creating impetus for a positive

foundation?

Human has never flourished, only survive and now even this has become questionable.

Human must grow past this contradiction if we are to steady our survival.

If you feel the need to pray and cherish, it is the ground you step upon...

The very ground, oceans and reservoirs we destroy.

All the answers are before our eyes yet human claims intelligence.

Refutations are factually non existent within this "fabricated delirium".

Human is fallible, but this is no excuse for destroying life.

Artifice will be our demise if we do not unify.

Wayne Dyer: Thing You Need To Hear ( Wayne Dyer Motivation ) - Duration: 9:17.

Here's the way to think of it it's like think of a Plumtree Plumtree has very

interesting characteristics of it again you go back to the seed you know you

know the seed inside of a plum is there plum essence in a plum seed is the

essence of plumbness in a plum seed has to be doesn't so you put the seed into

the ground and you plant it and all of a sudden it starts breaking open and roots

develop and they go under the ground is there plum essence in the roots isn't

think there has to be doesn't this something in there is going to create

plums and then those roots grow and spread and all of a sudden it's free of

starts sprouting up above the surface and there's a trunk is there plum

essence in the trunk yeah and then the trunk gets higher and there are branches

and then the branches develop leaves and then the leaves develop blossoms and

then the blossoms develop little buds and then the little buds turn into

little tiny plums and then you let them stay on there for a while and then they

turn into purple plums or green plums or whatever their essence is now we don't

say when we observe this phenomenon that these plums showed up from the

spirit/essence world of plumbness do we we don't do that we just look at the

tree and we observe it and we watch the whole thing and we realize that plum

essences and all of the things and we stand back and we watch them we say you

know the damn thing just plums it just plums like an apple tree it's just

apples so too are we like this we are not suffered from that spirit

world that separation is the thing we got to get out of us it's like someone

could come back and look at the whole planet and say there's vegetation

there's rocks there's minerals there's rain there sunshine look at this

thing from a distance look at it just watch it and what happens you watch it

and you watch it and you watch it and the damn thing just people's it's just

people that's the way Alan Watts put it it's just simply people we don't come

into this world we grow out of this world we are a part of all of it and we

can never escape it and once you know this once you get this that you weren't

placed in here from this spirit world any more than plums were or apples or

cockroaches or anything all we are all in this thing called the environment

together and this divineness the spirituality this higher consciousness

is a part of all of it and we have to know that rather than separating it out

this world that world this world because our senses tell us that before you're

here you're nowhere and after you leave here you're gone but our senses are not

reliable at all they misguide us all the time they tell

us that we're sitting here right now and they say you're sitting there still

you're not moving that's what I sense to tell us don't we

we don't think we're moving you think you're spinning right now but yet you

are aren't you aren't we turning and spinning and hurling through space and

all of that our senses tell us all of this stuff it's not true so we don't

want to rely upon our senses that's the intellect we want to rely upon our heart

and have this knowing that my essence is in every single aspect of myself and

that in order to transcend the prison of the duality of the physical plane I go

to my source and when I go to my source I get quiet the place where I cannot

further be divided you see our egos divide us up we divide ourselves up by

our races by our sexes by our a by our appearances by our economic class

by our languages and then we divide ourselves up further within the country

by our communities by our cities by our state and we divide ourselves further by

our schools and our religious orientations and our food preferences

and the shape of our eyes and then we divide our individual selves up on the

basis of what my mother thinks of me and what my father thinks of me and what I

used to be and what I ought to be and what I may be could become but I can't

because and we keep dividing ourselves and dividing ourselves and dividing

ourselves that's the work of the ego what we want to do is come up with a new

symbol get rid of the bulldozer and come up with a new symbol it's called a

hologram of a definition of a hologram hologram is the three-dimensional

photographic image obtained with laser beams a three-dimensional photographic

image obtained with laser beams the essence of a hologram you have them on

your Visa cards and MasterCard and American Express let's give them all

their own plug a hologram the interesting thing about a hologram is

that you take one tiny little sliver off of an object and you project a laser

beam through it and it projects what the whole doesn't it projects the whole

thing you take just one little tiny slices clicked it and you put this laser

beam through it and you look at it and in every tiny infinitesimal piece of a

hologram the whole becomes projected with the laser beam

that's what a hologram is every individual part contains the whole now

what an interesting notion that is think of humanity as like a six billion piece

hologram and we take one piece out and we put a laser beam through it and we

see all of you manage that's manifesting is like you have to be able

to see yourself as an individualized expression of the whole of it all and

not see yourself as separate from anything in this environment now you

start thinking about that thing I asked you to think about about what would you

like to manifest and you realize that it is part of the hologram as well

everything on the planet is part of the hologram now what you do is you you say

to yourself from your source from your quiet space the place that can't be

further divided you can't divide silence you can't divide God Gandhi said in

heaven there is no religion thank God you can't divide spirituality you can't

organize spirituality you can't divide any of this you go to the source when

you go to the source you go to zero and from the perspective of the source you

look out on the physical plane and you put your attention on what it is that

you would want to manifest knowing that you are not separate from it never have

then never could be even from the moment of your conception to the moment of your

death your life is not like this temporary experience between two eternal

blackness it's just like a parenthesis in eternity but it doesn't begin here

and end here it is always and so is everything in your environment just try

detaching yourself from something in your environment just try scribing

yourself just try being for a moment separate from your environment as a

physical being you do you need the air you need the ground

you walk on you need the gravity that holds you down

go to your source

and from the position of the source you create all the light as the Sun burns

indeed you're not an organism in an environment

you are an organism - life are an environment

Negative Thoughts are a Myth - Duration: 4:26.

Hello! It's Arien here and you are watching Arien Inspires, a weekly online

TV show that's transforming the personal development field and making it more

inclusive for those of us who live with a mental illness. This episode is all

about how negative and positive thoughts are a myth. All thoughts have something

important to tell us and when we label them as "negative" we dismiss them before

we get to hear that really important message. As a result we miss out on

crucial parts of our personal growth. So, here's how to take those so-called

"negative" thoughts and transform them into empowering and growth focus parts

of our psyche.

You no longer have to feel attacked by your negative thoughts. In fact, you can

learn to use them to feel better about yourself, make huge strides in your

personal growth, and really understand and validate the needs that you have. How?

Well, let me let you in on a little secret: there are no negative or positive

thoughts. There are thoughts that hurt, there are thoughts that bring up really

painful emotions, and there are thoughts that, if they go unchecked, can really do

some damage. But, they aren't negative. They're just

misguided helpers. If that sounds a little strange, just bear with me.

A recent thought that I had, which was one that some people might consider

negative, was regarding a fear of abandonment that I've struggled with in

the past and am healing from. This thought, in a very dooming voice and

shameful voice was saying, "You're going to ruin all of your relationships if you

don't just get over this fear of abandonment. Just get over it already."

Sounds like a bit of a nasty thought, right? If I had labeled the thought as

negative I would probably just be like, "Okay, take a deep breath," and think, "Begone

thought!" and hope that it never came back. And, although this might have helped me

feel a little better in the moment, I'd essentially be pushing away some really

crucial and important messages this thought was trying to tell me about. If I

instead think about the thought and not believe it at face value but not

dismiss it either, then I could reflect on it and realize some really vital things

it was trying to tell me. First I'd realized that the thought was trying

to protect me from losing the people that I love in my life.

Ultimately it was really trying to help. I'd also realize that this thought hurt

because I was afraid and, when I reflected on this thought, I'd come to

terms with that emotion. And, by being aware of it, I could begin to heal it. If I

had just brushed this thought away and dismissed it, neither of these really

important realizations could have come to light. So why is it important for us to

stop labeling thoughts as negative? Essentially, when we put the negative

label onto a thought, we instantly feel like we shouldn't think it or that it

doesn't really have a purpose or any sort of meaning behind it. This can lead

us to feel like we have to expunge it A.S.A.P. When we drop this label of a

thought being negative, we create space for reflection and can start to learn

the really important messages it has for us. So here's how you

can quickly, easily, and simply give this a go. First, think of a so-called "negative

thought" that you've been having lately and write it down. Now look at that

thought and ask yourself, "What is this thought trying to help me with or

protect me from?" Really dig deep with this, try to really figure out what exactly

it could be helping you with even if it's a tiny thing. Whether you came up

with something for that question or not, now ask yourself, "What emotion does this

thought conceal or bring up?" Now I want to be clear. It's not the emotion that the

thought causes, but rather the emotion of a thought came from. In my earlier

example, the thought itself created a feeling of shame, but it came from a

feeling of grief and fear of losing those that I loved. It's this latter

emotion that I really want to pay attention to. That's where the thought is

coming from and that's where the insight can really happen. It's the emotion that

stings, but it's really helpful and beneficial to work through. See how valuable

"negative" thoughts can be? It's kind of awesome! Like a sneaky way that we can

use tough experiences to improve ourselves even more. So now that I've

introduced this exercise to you, I would absolutely love to hear from you in the

comments. What thought did you pick out and what messages does it really have

for you? And, as always, if you enjoyed this episode please be sure to send it

to someone who can benefit as well. So I'm going to let you go now, but before I do

I want to wish you much friendliness with all of your thoughts.

Pharmacy Technician Program gets students certified! - Duration: 3:20.

Growing up, Jonathon Sunday accompanied his father to the pharmacy he owned in Baltimore.

Assisting his dad peaked Sunday's interest in the profession.

Each day I would see my dad, uh, go to work as a pharmacist and I said maybe this is something

I want to get into because it's in the family, uh, it's, it's the family business, so I said

I might want to, uh, try to see what I can do.

Sunday registered for the pharmacy technician course at Howard Community College.

Well the course at Howard Community College is an extensive course, it's a six months,

uh, course, and, umm, it taught me, you know, a lot about drugs, we memorized the top two

hundred drugs in America, and, umm, we, you know, examined the different, umm, routes

that are used with these drugs, we examined, umm, the makeup of these drugs, we learned,

you know, the compounding formulas for these drugs.

Through the course, students get hands on experience with non-sterile compounding at

VitaScript Compounding Pharmacy & Nutrition Center in Columbia. The class is taught by

pharmacy owner and instructor, Dr. Lynn Shumake.

Here in the pharmacy they really need to have a hands-on, so part of the course is a lab

experience where they come in, we work with, umm, setting up capsulations, we work with

doing transdermal creams. They get to gown up, we have head covers, masks, umm, body

covers, shoe covers, etcetera, it's really focused on sterility, or at least cleanliness,

umm, and they get a hands-on. They get to weigh, they get to take powders and creams

and blend them together, umm, and that's a real life experience that solidifies the

didactic information that they've been reading about.

Once students complete 96 hours of theory and 160 externship hours through the course,

they are eligible to sit for the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam.

The college has worked with the board of pharmacy in Maryland to, umm, have them accept this

program, umm, as a means for students. Once they complete the program and pass it, then

the board of pharmacy can issue them, umm, a certification, and they're then certified

in Maryland and they can work at any of the pharmacies.

In less than a year and after a successful exam, students can qualify for a career as

a Pharmacy Technician.

Pharmacy techs are extremely important. Umm, in Maryland the board of pharmacy has, uh,

recognized and authorized at least two techs per pharmacist, so whether you're in a retail

setting or a hospital setting or one such as our which is custom compounding, umm, the

technicians are very involved, umm, from meeting clients, umm, talking across the counter and

receiving a prescription, taking in general information, they might be involved in actually

putting prescriptions into a computer system, umm, they might be doing filling processes,

they'll pull drugs, count them out, set them aside for the pharmacist to check.

Since earning his pharmacy technician certification, Jonathon has started a new job at a business

close to his heart, his fathers' pharmacy.

DIY ROLL TOP BACKPACK | WHIPPING POST STYLE | Becky's DIY Solutions - Duration: 7:43.

Hi everyone, this is B!

Welcome to my channel Becky's DIY solutions!

In this video I'm gonna show you how to make a roll top backpack like this.

Maybe you are familiar with Whipping Post backpacks, I really love their style, so I

wanted to make a similar one.

This has a rolltop as you see, a pocket on the front, and there is also an interlining like this.

It took almost 5 hours in total to make this backpack for me together with the video

shooting, of course.

Believe me, it's really easy, but it needs a couple of details to pay attention

to.

If you stay here until the end, I'll tell you how to make this backpack from scratch

step by step.

You can also check the video description below for all the measurements.

So, let's begin!

First, choose the fabric type you would use.

It should be solid and thick like canvas or jeans.

I decided to make the backpack with this velvet fabric which was very thick enough.

For the interlining, you can use any kind of non-elastic fabric.

I used an old bed sheet for this.

To make the backpack more rigid, I used an interfacing like this.

It's not essential, but it really helps to stabilize the fabric.

The other needed tools are backpack straps and another strap for the rolltop to be closed.

I used leather straps from an old bag and a belt which I didn't wear it anymore.

And here are the pieces you'll need to cut:

1 front piece and 1 back piece from the main fabric for the backpack, from the interfacing and from the interlining.

I took the whole length as 60 cm, but afterwards, it seemed to me it's kind of short since

the top will be rolled, so I suggest you to cut longer pieces.

You should cut 1 long piece for the sides from the 3 fabric types again.

Since I ran out of black colored interfacing, I had to use the white one, but the both are

the same.

And you should also cut 1 piece for the pocket from the main fabric and from the interfacing.

I didn't use any interlining for the pockets, but if you wish, you may cut an interlining,

too.

Then, you should cut 1 small piece from the main fabric and from the interfacing for the

hanger that the straps will attach on.

And 2 small squares for 2 times again to attach the straps on the bottomline.

Ok, let's attach all the pieces now!

First, take all the main fabric and the interfacing pieces you've cut as the wrong sides together

and iron all of them to each other.

Then, take the 2 square pieces, cut them into 2 pieces again and sew along the shorter edges

as the front sides together and make them inside out.

Take the back piece as the right side is on top, and sew the triangles with a straight

stitch like this 6 cm away from the bottomline.

Then, take the hanger piece and sew the long edges with a straight stitch by folding them

inside once.

Take the shoulder straps and the hanging strap, and attach them to the hanger piece with a

straight stitch as a square shape first and then connect the corners like this to make

it stronger.

The shoulder straps I used were 60 cm long, but you should check the strap lengths on

your shoulders before cutting them.

Then, attach the hanger to the back piece around 40 cm away from the end of the shoulder

strap line.

Sew the left and the right sides 1 cm away from the edges and also the other sides together

with a straight stitch.

As I forgot to attach the strap for the rolltop to the middle, I had to attach it after I

sewed the hanger to the back piece.

You can attach this at the beginning and then attach the other straps.

If you use a belt, you should cut it first and sew the part with the bucket to the top

and the other part to the bottom.

After you're done with those straps, take the pocket piece now and sew 1 long edge with

a straight stitch by folding the edge inside twice.

Take the remaining strap to be used for closing the rolltop, and sew it to the middle 5 cm

down the pocket line like this.

Then, take the pocket, sew the 3 edges on the front piece with a straight stitch 1 cm

away from the sides.

Now it's time to make all the pieces together!

Cut out the extra fabric on the front and the back pieces first and then, take the front

piece and the side piece and attach them as right sides together and sew all the way around

with a straight stitch 1 cm away from the edges and make a zigzag stitch for the raw

edges.

Then, take the back piece and attach it to the side piece as right sides together again

and sew all the way around with a straight stitch 1 cm away from the edges and make a

zigzag stitch for the raw edges.

And then, make the backpack inside out.

Afterwards, you'll need to make the interlining as the same as the backpack.

Attach the side piece and the front piece as right sides together, sew along with a

straight stitch first and make a zigzag stitch for the raw edges.

And attach the back piece as the same.

Take the backpack now and place it inside the interlining.

The front sides should be face to face.

Sew along the top line 1 cm away with a straight stitch, but leave around 15 cm open to make

it inside out.

After you turned it inside out, place the interlining inside, and make a top stitch

all the way around.

This will also close the open part.

As a last step, attach the shoulder straps to the little triangles with a straight stitch

and that's it!

The roll-top backpack is done!
